It's harvest time! & Thanksgiving is coming up soon the United States (sorry, Canadians, that I didn't have it done in time for yours!) So I wanted to get this set made asap. I didn't make swatch previews this time, as most of the items follow the same orange, brown, and green color scheme. Some items have extra swatches added by me, all info below.

Gothic Dining Table and Chair

little peek at the kitchen of the "cozy apartment" i finished yesterday :3

i've been working on an apartment complex in san myshuno - 4 units, 2 for micro families (i'd say 3 to 4 sims max) and 2 for single or coupled sims - very cramped, very small, very tight, very cozy.

it'll need to be thoroughly playtested and if worthy, if i'm happy with the result overall, i may offer it for download :)

#love the units #but im struggling with the exterior of the build #not my strong suit #ts4 #ts4 interior #the sims 4 #sims 4 #simblr #when i say “cramped” i do mean cramped - the bedrooms are of decent size..but the rest is HELL 💀#for example the family units (floorplans are the same) say u have 3 sims...you get only 2 chairs at the dining table. that's the space.

I am waiting rn for my new AC install, so while waiting in these humid conditions (I tried to move all the furniture near the windows earlier, which was a HUGE mistake) I decided to read some Xena comics. Below is a collection of some of my favorite panels so far:

#I didn't fully move my dining table #just kinda shoved it to the side #because I got overheated #the problem with a four hour delivery window when you are waiting for an AC install #is it is 4 hours in no AC #where you spend far too much time fretting over if you've made everyone's life easy enough yet #especially when the AC unit is normally right behind your dining table #which has crap piled on it #and chairs around it #etc #anyway I am fairly out of it #and need nice fun low mental energy things for rn #so xena comics it shall be #I may switch to buffy comics in a bit idk #boom really has been doing an amazing job with buffy tbh #its so nice #but I kinda fell off in the middle of that one about Willow accidently becoming the Slayer in a spell mishap in high school

tmi maybe but why did I barf so much as a kid lol I have so many memories of me vomiting for no fucking reason 😭

#I was reminded bc of the mcchicken post #once my dad got me nuggets and immediately after taking a bite I opened the car door so I could barf #i think it mightve been a texture think that grossed me out #so now I'm wondering if all other times I barfed it was cause of some other sensory issue lol #another time I was sitting at the dining table and tried to run to the bathroom but I chose to climb over the chair next to me #and didn't make it 😂#is it normal for kids to barf so much I must've been like 4-7 years old what was wrong with me 😭

if I go silent for a few days this week (just as a forewarning because idk what I’m doing these days honestly) it’s cause I’m trying to force my hand to draw on my laptop because as of recent it’s been getting harder and harder to work up to, but it’s not artblock because I seem to be drawing on quite literally everything else except for my laptop. or I’ve passed out the moment I come home from work. either way deems inactivity to an extent

#crow thoughts #I want to work on these comic ideas I’ve had so badly but my hand just work do it for some reason #but I can sketch it out and scribble down notes in my notepad like hell #to be fair I think it is my current setup where in which my laptop and tablet is promptly set up on two boxes #and my chair is one of the old dining room chairs #so it might be just not finding comfort in this setup that makes me want to hurl my tablet to the next room over #but the silence in my room is welcoming and I hate loud disturbances (like tv noise n shit)#so this is all a big fucked up lose-lose situation where my sensory issues are gripping my throat and slowly killing me dead #and drawing late at night isn’t an option when you have to get up at 4 in the morning #which staying up late seems to be the only time where my body agrees that yes I can draw even in the awful setup
