The boy has spent most of his life living inside and away from his country to get the best care. Until he is given the opportunity to live at U.A., surrounded by heroes and heroes-in-training.

Izuku hadn't wanted to be a villain. He had never planned for this to happen. He had taken a job because he'd needed the money and they'd been willing to overlook his age. And then he'd taken another. And another. And then he had made a mistake, indebted himself to the wrong people. And then it was too late to go back.

This is a small part of what would have been a (much much much) longer fic if I had written it. I had planned this fic for a year and now it seems like I'll never write it. But I would be disappointed if I never wrote any of it at all and this part has always been my favorite. Please enjoy this very sad one shot
