The fact that BBC class never got a season 2 is my Roman empire and always will be. With that ending? With April becoming shadowkin? With the fallout between Charlie and Matteusz and all of Charlie's guilt over using the Cabinet of Souls and losing everything left of his people? The sudden change in dynamic between Ms. Quill and Charlie/Quill saving Charlie's life? Ram's reaction to April becoming Shadowkin? Tanya and Ram dealing with the ramifications of telling Charlie to use the Cabinet of Souls? The fact that they STILL HAVEN'T PROPERLY DEALT WITH THE FALLOUT FROM WHEN THEY WERE TRAPPED WITH THE PRISONER AND THE TRUTH-GUILT ROCK? Feral. Absolutely FERAL, I am telling you. I'm never getting over this. It's been seven years and I am still NOT OVER IT

"School is back in session, but the dark events in Shoreditch are far from over. With the kids' relationships hanging by a thread and a rogue soul on the streets of Shoreditch, will they find it before it’s too late?"
Today, seven years after the premiere of the first two episodes of Class, we begin the Ongoing journey again!
Over the next few months, we will be regularly re-releasing each Class: Ongoing installment so far, as we prepare to finally continue our story.
Each main episode will release fortnightly on Sundays, with our side stories being posted in the alternating weeks, each on the anniversary of the release of episodes of the original series.
Along with providing a chance to catch up on the story so far, for readers both new and old, each main episode has also been updated as a new edition (check out that tweaked cover art, with fancy new DW logo and adjusted colour grading!), fixing some small errors we missed while editing the first time round, as well as making a few other updates.
Expect also to see some new content, with a new multipart side story arc beginning next week!
This story was written by Ally Chancellor (@tinybookgirl) and illustrated by Anne-Laure Tuduri (@liria10) and Matt Jordan (@intuitive-revelations).
Available here.

'...Sophie Hopkins (played April MacLean in Class, 2016)
The Doctor Who moment that has always stuck with me is the regeneration of the Tenth Doctor – David Tennant’s simple yet heartbreaking words, “I don’t want to go”. Chills!
Juno Dawson (writer of the Doctor Who: Redacted audio series, 2022 onwards)
When Tegan Jovanka leaves the Doctor, she tells him she can no longer witness the bodies piling up around them. “It’s stopped being fun, Doctor!”, she wails. I often apply that rule to my life, too. If it stops being fun, get out. Some 20 years later, Martha Jones chooses herself over a life of pining after the Doctor. She explains about her university friend’s unrequited love for their flatmate. Martha won’t repeat her pattern, and she gets out. It’s one of the most explicitly feminist moments in the show.”
Susie Liggat (producer, 2007-2008)
We were filming the last scene of Planet of the Ood in Trefil Quarry, it was boiling hot but we covered it in biodegradable paper snow. The Ood stand in a circle and sing their song of thanks to the Doctor and Donna. It’s such a vision of trust and openness, which for me represented the power of being vulnerable, the brilliance of “the Other”, the importance of not underestimating or taking advantage of people or creatures who work in different ways. Visually it was very simple and exposed, just the guys playing the creatures, Catherine Tate and David Tennant. A rare moment of stillness...'

Fucking love the Doctor Who Extended Universe. Anything is possible. It's almost a threat. At any time it could be revealed Rory had an evil twin who kidnaps and hypnotises a lost Sensorite into doing his bidding whilst Thirteen and April MacLean from Class defeat his world ending plan by building a giant sandcastle in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, and burying Atlantis... again.

“You’re On Your Own Kid is about-”

Ram Singh & Comics
I have been just thinking about Ram Singh being a secret lil comic geek. And not just bc I wanna combine my two hyperfixations... He does his best to cover his tracks but just knows a little bit too much about the Superhero lore to just have "a normal guy knowledge about Superheroes" as he claims.
Tanya clearly also comics (i don't make the rules) and they discuss their opinions on things occasionally when she tutors him.
Their opinions are mostly similar so typically it's nice and cordial
Once they both got over the top dramatic about something and didn't speak to each other for a whole week until someone in their group questioned it and then all of a sudden, Ram was a bit apologetic
Once he nearly got caught so he blamed the person closest to him and said it was theirs
That person was April
April then proceeded to poorly pretend to be into comics
Needless to say, Ram took that opportunity to attempt to pull April into comics
That said, I have hardcore beliefs that Ram would relate most to Superman
Powerful guy who just wants to help people but it seems like the world is set against him.
Plus it doesn't hurt that Superman gets chicks, eyyy
He immediately assumes April would be into Lois bc she's basically her carbon copy
April ofc immediately attaches to like Batman... or more accurately Tim Drake
When April after confessing that, asks Ram who he relates to the most, Ram jokes "Cyborg/Metallo, as i'm already on the way there"
They laugh
Back to Superman, Ram doesn't understand why writers keep trying to paint him as evil
he really is just trying to help the world and can lift cars so whats boring about that
While he can get behind the whole losing yourself with losing a loved one, he doesn't get Injustice...
Sure, he wanted to end the world after losing Rachel...
But Superman is Superman... he's supposed to be better than him. He'd never do that!
ALSO He'll never admit it but he felt sick when April compared Superman to Charlie
fucking aliens

Timestamp #CLS7: The Lost
Class: The Lost
(1 episode, s01e08, 2016)
From the shadows rises a cliffhanger.
Six days after the detention events, bad omens rise as April debuts her song The Lost on a café stage. The Lost is obviously about the Coal Hill Defenders and their families. Of that group, Ram suffers immediate loss as his father is murdered by Corakinus. As his father disintegrates, Ram is confronted by the former…
