Gorguts - Considered Dead

Here's the first Album from Death Metal Legends GORGUTS! Absolutely an amazing band, and this album shows the start of what would eventually become their signature avant-garde dissonant sound. To me, what makes Gorguts special is just how out there they get in the construction of their riffs. Especially the way in which the guitars incorporate atonal or literally tonally dissonant. On this record you can really start hearing their progression from what sounds to be a more classic sounding tech death metal to what to me is the greatest death metal album of all time, Obscura. Which is dissonate as fuuuck. FUcking love that record, and I absolutely love this one as well.

H.A.Q.Q., Liturgy (2019)

Ditching glitzy, posturing experiments to focus on sheer ferocity was, it turns out, not too bad an idea for Liturgy. H.A.Q.Q. isn’t, for me, a particularly ground-breaking work nor as engaging as Aesthethica but, thanks to brute force and that alone (and likely not really the glitch, which gets repetitive, or the churchy stuff, which is a bit self-important) it’s a Liturgy highlight.

Chiptune/Nintendocore Musician Taking Commissions!

My name is Gigakoops, and I am a musician and composer, specializing in chiptune-infused rock and metal music. I've been releasing music since 2011, and have released four full-length albums, as well as two EPs and various singles. All of these releases are quite varied, ranging from straight-forward chiptunes to complex mixtures of chiptune with rock, metal, prog, techno, orchestral music, jazz, ska, and more! And now I am looking to do music commissions for your next video game or film project!

While most of my solo music tends to be long-form and more progressive rock-inspired, I'm also perfectly capable of writing shorter, catchy loops that can easily be used in video games. I am also quite versatile, as I've written songs and melodies in a variety of different styles and moods. I've written catchy, happy-sounding melodies; sad, melodramatic songs; and fast, aggressive metal tunes.
