since my LDB only had trauma from her past marriage, i like to think her dad who is really nice but also super scary just takes Tally under his wing.

The first time Taliesin meets Claws-Foes-Swiftly, tribe leader of the Bright Throats, he is terrified. The lizard is a hulking kaiju of an Argonian, with armor made from crocodile hide and the fangs of giant salamanders adorning his body. When Tally sees him, he gets flashbacks of his own father towering over him, and begins to panic slightly, only for the giant chief to offer him a cup of tea.

His voice is soft, not sharp, and his eyes are concerned. It’s not something Taliesin has ever felt since the story of Berwhale the Avenger first left his own father’s lips. He feels safe for once. And Tara is glad.

TESSDE AU (+ Lucia :]) (Taliesin part 4)

Lucia: *tossing around in her sleep, brow furrowed, wakes up with a gasp and sits up, panting heavily* hh... hh... *tears up a little, getting out of bed and going out to the hall to Taliesin's room, opening the door a little; sees him perfectly fine, actually sleeping given the very early morning hours* ... *chews her lip before closing the door quietly and hurrying to the living room, opening the front door and peering outside*

The streets are barren, but lit up in the night. It's a little chilly, but Lucia grabs her coat from the rack at the door and steps out, frowning at the recently rain covered ground. She closes the door and hurries to Jorrvaskr, wanting to make sure her dream wasn't real, unaware of the few individuals coming through the front gate with torches.

Taliesin: *rather light sleeper since having Lucia around, startles at the sound of a door closing and tiredly looks around the bed, not seeing his child. Sits up, fixing his hair and rubbing his eyes clear before getting out of bed to check on her. Stops immediately at the sight of her open bedroom door, pulling out Berwhale the Avenger, stalking to the room. He quickly enters, but there's no one there. Not even Lucia. Panick sets in and he rushes to the living room, not seeing her at the couch table drawing, and her jacket gone. Rushes out of the house, grimacing as bright torchlight near burns his retinas* Augh...

???: Go back into your home, citizen. Tonight's not a night for wandering.

Taliesin: *covering his eyes but desperately looking around their feet and arms* My little girl is missing- have you seen her? She' yay tall, blonde haired, green eyes.

???: No. But... we are here on a job to get rid of some cruel monsters. Just as likely we came at the right time that they took her.

Taliesin: Cruel monsters? What on Nirn-?

~With Lucia~

Lucia: *hurries inside the heavy door, running down the stairs and knocking on Kodlak's door softly* Mr. Kodlak...?

Kodlak: *limbo'd between death and life, weakly breathing* ...Enter...

Lucia: *enters and hurries to close the door behind her, walking to Kodlak's bed* ... *she spies a rag nearby and dunks it in cool water before wiping his forehead softly* ...I had a dream you were dying... and some bad men came...

Kodlak: *wheezes* Foresight...? Hah... perhaps... thank you... my dear...

Lucia: *smiles weakly, trying her best to take care of him in her mother's stead* Everything will be okay...

So, it's my silly little thing to say which car each Skyrim custom follower would drive. And Tally has already captured my little heart, as he has likely caught yours, you reading this.

And then it struck me--so simple, yet so layered. And so close to my heart as a Crown Vic girl myself:

Tally would drive a P71 Police Interceptor

Now look, I know what you're thinking

And no, Tally doesn't open-carry at his cousin's Bar Mitzvah. (But he does still openly wear his Thalmor getup in Stormcloak territory sooooo)

But hear me out. The P71's have been retired from basically all police forces years ago. And since then, they've been picked up dirt cheap at auctions and getting driven by guys who would have once sat in the back. P71's have a redemption arc: after years of abuse on the force, they find a new life with loyal enthusiasts, a reputation of being muscle cars if you tune them right, being reliable, and FUN to work on!

Somehow Lucien had Berwhale and I am very confused.I know for a fact I had never taken it from Taliesin.That's his "Chosen One" dagger,and I only ever give Lucien scrolls. Then I gave it back to Taliesin and I'm the one that got into trouble? Excuse me?
