welcome! this is a silly little editing blog that makes icons, pride flag edits and stimboards! please check the blog description for request status.

main interests are bolded, i am most comfortable doing requests for those. for the rest i prefer requests to be more specific, to make sure i can fulfill them properly!

misc animanga mostly means that if you are looking for stimboards of characters from seasonal anime or lesser known manga, (basically anything that doesn’t have its dedicated editing blogs): i’m the thing you need!

i can do oc stimboards as well!

will not do: live action sources, irl people, ships that are generally categorized as ‘proship’. prefer not to do: sources i am not familiar with but other people are strongly divided about (such as genshin)

also i prefer not to use fanart, except for stimboards and if the art in question is by you (the requester). picrews are okay though, just give me a link so i can credit it in the post.

ABOUT THE MOD:

you can call me del (🌒), i’m 21↑, any pronouns, autistic and autigender, queer, singlet; a cathearted robotkin with a sweet tooth. i lovelove love!!! stimboards! i love sweets and chocolate and cakes and desserts! i love plants and trees and grasses and flowers and leaves! i also happen to be incredibly socially awkward, please do not mind that.

if you are lgbtphobic, ableist, or a bigot in general, you won’t like it here and also i will probably just block you.

i do not vibe with exclusionists! i think “contradictory” labels and pronouns are totally cool. stop building these divides, don’t be a cop!

also please note i have a strong preference for it/its pronouns for myself and will also use it for certain characters sometimes!

GENERAL REQUEST INFO:

- multiple requests are ok, but please send them in separate asks!

- let me know if you want your requested post to say no kin tags or no f/o tags, anything like that.

- for stimboards, let me know if there is a specific type of stim to avoid. i will also in general try to tag common triggers for all stimboards.

- if i made your request but you would like me to change something, don’t hesitate to tell me.

- when requesting something for a character make sure it is clear who you mean by using their full name and/or specifying the source media.

- the pride flags can be lgbt related or disability pride flags. if it is something that has multiple iterations, please specify by describing it or sending a link. i will need a link for more "niche" pride flags as well.

MAIN REQUEST TYPES:

- pride flag bordered icons: send me a character, what flag you want me to use, and what shape you want the icons to be. you can specify what cards to include if you want. you can ask for matching icons of characters with the same flag.

- colorpicked flags (gacha games only): send me a character or a specific card / other piece of official art, and the flag you want me to make. normally i will also include bordered icons made with the edited flag in the post, so feel free to specify what shape to use.

- stimboards: send me a character or characters. you can specify: card(s), themes, colors, stim types. if i don’t know the character(s) well i will need these specifics. i also accept stimboard requests for any general theme, as well as otherkin, oc or pride flag stimboards.

About the Otherkin Thing

I've been doing my research about otherkin (and therian) identities, as well as adjacent ones like otherhearted and -kith identities. In addition, I've been doing a fair amount of introspection on the matter in regards to myself.

I feel comfortable acting in a catlike manner, and I have some automatic mannerisms similar to a cat's (domestic shorthair, I guess). In the very few spiritual experiences I've had, I've felt comfortable taking on a more feline identity. Even in more intimate relationships, I still like acting like a cat. And, I'm not sure if it's *exactly* the phantom limb thing, but I can really easily imagine myself swishing a tail around or swiveling my ears backwards.

Despite all this, I've decided to not label myself as otherkin or otherhearted. I feel as if the label of otherkin is misleading, as I do not believe I am a cat at all in a literal sense, as I just act like one. As for the title of cathearted or catkith, I feel as if the internet as a whole-- and especially the world on the outside-- has no idea what either of those words mean, even vaguely. I don't want to have to explain myself in detail every time I want to say my labels (even if it's not on me to explain it every time, I'd feel as if I'm leaving them in the dark if I don't)

I would love to hear thoughts from the community on this, specifically about the otherhearted label. I would enjoy it if it were used more.

day 19 - is being nonhuman spiritual for you?

WOW I can’t believe I almost missed a day, it’s 1 am so it’s technically not the 19th anymore but anyways, my answer!

yes and no? funnily enough I started out wholeheartedly believing it was 100% spiritual, then switched to 100% psychological because I guess I thought that made me smart to deny spiritual beliefs (not that every psych kin does that but I just had a hardcore atheist phase and ignored my feelings for the sake of Science) and now I’m just a healthy mix of both.

so basically I believe most of my kintypes have spiritual origin, as in, I lived as them in a past life, but I believe past lives are a fairly common thing and affect everyone in different ways in their current lives depending on different aspects. I think my elven life is so ingrained in my soul that it would affect me no matter what and I’d probably turn out elfkin if my life was totally different as a human. but I believe my other kintypes were brought out in me due to trauma and mental illness and growing up with a bunch of dogs. I still wouldn’t be surprised if some hard evidence came out saying most of my kintypes are 100% psychological and have no spiritual origin because it kinda makes sense for me, as someone who had childhood trauma and attached to dogs more than people from a young age and loved to mimic other animals, though I do feel the pull to the spiritual explanation, especially for my elf kintype. like even for my dog kintype, I’m a breed of dog I’ve never actually seen in my life irl. what are the odds I’d seen myself as a “small wolflike dog” with mostly black fur and white accents on my chest and paws, but couldn’t figure out my breed for years until I found seppala siberian sled dogs? I knew IMMEDIATELY that that was me when I looked up images of them. and my non-canine kintypes I don’t understand why I’d be anything else besides a dog since I had no prior connection to them. I just struggle figuring out the psychological explanation for connecting with random animals like crows and otters when I could’ve just been a canine. or why I’m not a cat (though I am cathearted) despite having grown up with them alongside dogs, just not quite as much. I LOVE cats, but I just, don’t see myself as one? idk, but the spiritual-and-psychological explanation makes sense to me.

with my elf kintype there are so many little things that are Weird and hard to explain with psychology, like how as a kid I used to have this reoccurring fantasy about my home village being destroyed, or me being a warrior with 2 swords and a bow. like maybe I could’ve gotten those from tv or something but I do not remember what at the time could’ve given me the whole destroyed village thing or why it really made me Feel Things in the moment or why it stuck with me so much. also the name Karashoo, which I “made up” as a kid but it feels so Me that I just never vibed with my birth name and have since decided I want to legally change my name to Kara. it fills me with such pride for some reason, just really resonates with me more than any other name or word. and! my version of Kara is actually pronounced in the irish way??? (car-uh instead of care-uh) which like, makes sense in a way because I’ve always really vibed with ireland as a whole. and I don’t know why a very nonhuman little dogperson child would connect with elves of all things when I never wanted to be human in the slightest. it took me so long to realize I was an elf despite showing so many signs since childhood because I thought they were just “human-lite” and not necessarily nonhuman. there are just a lot of little things, too many to write in this already long enough post, but I really believe my elf kintype is spiritual and although I have my doubts sometimes, I would be shocked if it wasn’t spiritual.

I do also have some 100% psychological kintypes, which I know are psych because they only developed as a teen. one is my hellhound kintype, which is sort of like an extension of dog but just Angry. I started having hellhound shifts as an angsty teen with undiagnosed bpd, mostly when I felt defensive, so I guess I really only get my hellhound shifts during certain emotions but I definitely feel like the image of hellhounds is Me, and have cutesified it a bit (as you can see from my pfp). the other psych kintype is a fictotype which I developed after watching the source because I related to this character A Little Too Much and my disordered little pea brain decided to attach itself to the character and go “this is my identity now”. and well, it’s been years since that happened and I still get the same “that’s me” feels seeing that character, so I don’t think it’s going away lol. I’ve questioned them off and on in the past because I don’t have another fictotype to compare it to and was terrified of getting it wrong but I’ve literally had a moment where I almost referred to myself by the character’s name when talking to my nonkin friends because the subject of that character came up, and I always feel weirdly euphoric when compared to them or called by their name. so I think it’s safe to say that’s a fictotype. I did go thru a phase with thinking I was spiritual kin with them but I really don’t think I was them before watching the source? I subconsciously just thought that it being spiritual makes it more “valid” somehow, and also wanted to explain some feelings I had, but really, I just vibe with this character to the point where my mentally ill brain decided to take them on as an identity permanently.

15. Literally anywhere. I like prompt lists because they keep me focused, but I've gotten inspiration from lyrics, conversations, sunlight on leaves, etc. Anything can trigger the muse and lord I wish I could control it sometimes.

29. I would love to say myself (and I mean, I do write for myself), but I am definitely influenced by the knowledge that people will read my work. There are several fics I almost didn't post because I knew they likely wouldn't be well received, but my friends (including you!! :catheart:) convinced me to do so anyway and rallied around me when the expected happened and I was not well liked for a bit.

52. I am definitely a better writer than I was even just two years ago, but I am also less free. I know what works best on AO3 and what gets the most attention, and I tend to stay in that safe zone (if you ignore Almost and Other Side of the Wall). I have mildly pigeonholed myself in the Snamione fandom because I know what is accepted there, whereas my brief foray in the Critical Role fandom was terrifying because I didn't know anything. I don't even know the common tropes! But that was also freeing because I couldn't be held back by them.

Q10: what is something you want other people to know about your physical disability/disabilities?

A: i want people to know that, energy consumption wise, doing one task for me is like as an abled person doing it at Least 3 times. literally. go through your day and imagine doing everything 3 times. it'd be awful.

so i want listen to me when i say i cant do something. and if i am doing something, that means i care because i wouldnt waste energy on it if i didn't. i want them to appreciate what i can do - not chastise me for what i cant.

Q14: what good has happened recently related to your physical disability?

aaa omg ok so. i have a rollator my cat loves being driven around the house on it. he sits there and just looks around!! he'll even jump up on it himself sometimes.

and it just makes me so happy! he loves walking around the house and getting pets, but i havent been able to do that very often as my condition declines. so im very thankful that my rollator has given me the opportunity to make my bestest friend happy this way again. cats are my special interest and i would consider myself cathearted. they are everything to me so :') yeah.
