Okay, so, when I hyperfixate on stuff, I often like to combine it with other previous/lesser hyperfixations. So this ends up with a lot of fun crossover AUs!

Now, why am I saying this?

Twst (mainly the freshies) x digimon

In this AU, Ortho would act as the “sixth ranger” of the season, starting as an antagonist before joining the team. (Bc that’s ‘never’ happened in digimon before) (Ken, Kouichi, Yuu/Ewan, heck even some digimon like Gatomon and Beelzemon) I’m also not sure if I want Ortho to have a partner, so I only gave him half of a line. He would still be an AI in this AU. (Yuujin core) (I feel like I could make a death joke here-)

Also, Grim would be like Bun from C’mon Digimon (at least, he might be. I have not read that manga yet) as he is still a digimon, however he cannot evolve and his name doesn’t end in “Mon” (bc I’ve decided that Grim is a one-size-fits-all type deal in these AUs of mine)

The background of this AU would be similar to the OG Adventure series, with the real world starting off in a summer camp. There are seven cabins, (plus an extra lodge for the camp counselors (the faculty)) each based on the dorms. So it would be like, Cabin 1: Pomefiore, Cabin 2: Heartslabyul and so on and so forth with that.

This does not mean that Yuu stays with one of the cabins, as due too a mix up, all the cabins were full, but Yuu was still accidentally let in. It was decided that they could just stay in the Counselor’s lodge for the time at camp.

You may think that Ramshackle doesn’t exist now, but it does! Ramshackle Dorm is turned into Ramshackle Mansion. It’s where the freshman first end up when they get to the Digiworld, though it ends up being haunted by three Bakemon. Yuu and Grim are the first to figure this out, as the duo work together in a similar fashion as the prologue. The two eventually find the others and they book it out of there.

Ramshackle Mansion eventually becomes the team’s hide out for whenever they’re done exploring whatever section of the Digiworld they where adventuring in. The Bakemon are actually super nice and collect food, water, and medical supplies for the team!

I still have a lot to say about things I’ve figured out for this AU, but this post is getting long, so I’ll stop it here for now. If anyone wants to know more, I’d be happy to talk more about it!

I read your Baal!Yuu AU and it was amazing! But I think you forgot something important.

Baalmons can teleport.

Holy... how did I forget Baalmons can teleport!?

Oh the chaos that unleashed with me just NOW remembering that.

Okay even though it would be chaos if Baal!Yuu could just teleport wherever they want to I like to believe there are some limitations to it

Limitations such as not being able to teleport anywhere where they haven't been or not being able to teleport to someone without knowing their location, etc.

Besides those limitations I imagine scenarios like this:

(A/N: Sorry if any of the TWST cast are written out of character.)

[ Scenario 1: Ruggie tries to steal some pens ]

( Set during Chapter 2 when Ruggie steals Cater and Riddle's magical pens. )

Ruggie: Shishishi, is that really as fast as you can-

*Thump*

Ruggie: Huh, what the? When did you?

Baal!Yuu: *Grabs pens away from Ruggie*

Baal!Yuu: Don't try that again. *Teleports back to a tired out Riddle and Cater*

Ruggie: They... they can teleport?

[ Scenario 2: Magift Shenanigan ]

( Set during the Student Exhibition match in Chapter 2. )

Savanaclaw Student: *On a broom* Alright now just to shoot the disk through the goal and-

Baal!Yuu: *Teleports behind Student* Boo.

Savanclaw Student: Yip! *Looses balance and drops the disk*

Baal!Yuu: *Grabs disk* Hey Ace, catch! *Throws the disk before teleporting again*

Ruggie: *Mutters* Crap, forgot they could do that.

Leona: I'm sorry, care to repeat that Ruggie?

Ruggie: Dammit.

(Baal!Yuu didn't use it back at the Savanaclaw dorm to keep it fair, they aren't doing that anymore as petty revenge against Leona.)

[ Scenario 3: I don't know where he is ]

(Set during Phantom Bride Event. )

Ace: What do you mean 'you don't know where he is'?

Baal!Yuu: Look. I can only teleport to someone if I know the location they are in or if I know the area. Because Ortho can't scan to see where Idia is for {insert random inconvenient reason here} I can't teleport to Idia to just get him out here.

Ace: Are you kidding me!? Just guess where he is and get this whole situation over with!

Baal!Yuu: Even if I could Ace. The ghost soldiers would probably go looking for him anyway, making the mission even more complicated, and having us probably fleeing campus and putting the whole island in danger.

Ace: ...Oh. Kinda didn't think that far ahead.

[ Scenario 4: Poor Grim]

(Set during Idia's Labwear Vignette. )

Idia: Come on... I'm not someone scary...

Grim: GYAAAH!

Baal!Yuu: *Teleports behind Grim* Oh there you are.

Idia: GYAAAAH!!

Grim: *Faints*

Baal!Yuu: *Picks up Grim* Oh, sorry about that Idia. Didn't even notice you were here.

Idia: ...

Baal!Yuu: You weren't too frightened, were you?

Idia: N-nope!

Baal!Yuu: Oh, okay then. See you around. *Teleports*

Idia: ...Seiously, why does the Prefect have such an OP ability? Teleporting is a cheat skill to use IRL.

uhhh How about a Tomoki Himi!Yuu or Kumamon!Yuu, can I see how that will work(I see this Yuu being instantly BFFs with Ortho) especially since sometimes they talk about their friends from back home(the other chosen children for the legendary warriors for Tomoki Himi!Yuu while the actual warriors for Kumamon!Yuu). Please consider this 🙏 🥺 . Really please consider this

(I genuinely thought when you say Kumamon you were talking about Bearmon, so I thought that "Wait. Since when Tomoki turns into a Bearmon?")

Aight, so Chackmon!Yuu somehow got separated from their friends for some reason and ended up in Twisted Wonderland. They're a bit cautious, because they're in an unknown territory and their friends aren't with them.

But after Heartslabyul's chapter, they became much friendlier towards the rest of the NRC casts. They still think Crowley is poo, though.

Some of the first years randomly pats or squish Chackmon!Yuu's cheeks, because of how fluffy and cool he is. They're fine with it, plus it reminds them of how Agnimon, or heck, Wolfmon hugs them back in the Digital World.

They're very good friends with Ortho, and they bonded when Ortho offers to help Chackmon!Yuu with their Blaster, Romeo. Ortho sometimes go to Ramshackle and brought some of his brother's games to play with them. And sometimes Chackmon!Yuu would go to Ignihyde to ask Orthho to check out their Blaster.

It's not uncommon to see a polar bear walking around Ignihyde. Nobody mind because it boosts morale.

Dinohyumon: *Slices Piedmon across the chest, throwing him backwards*

Lunamon: *Turns and rams into Piedmon's stomach starting to grow*

Deuce: *Stares with wide eyes* She's evolving past champion!!

Crescemon: *Lands in front of Livia, her eyes narrowed*

Livia: *Stares in surprise, her eyes widening* Woah...

Crescemon: Piedmon, do you feel sorry now?

Piedmon: I'll use and toss people away, and nobody, not even you will stop me!

Crescemon: *Steps forward towards him* I understand now, I had hoped you could be saved.....

Piedmon: You save me, don't-

Crescemon: *Launches herself forward, raising her weapon*

Piedmon: *Pulls a sword out, his eyes wide as he blocked Crescemon's attacks, getting pushed back with each one*

Crescemon: *Twirls to the right and knocks him right into Gaogamon*

Gaogamon: *Chomps down on Piedmon's arm and tosses him upwards*

Metal Greymon: *Charged forward and grabs Piedmon holding him still*

Piedmon: YOU-!!

Crescemon: Ice Arrow!

Piedmon: *Frees himself and looks at her* STOP-

Piedmon: *Freezes, an arrow sticking through his chest*

Crescemon: *Leaps forward and catches him* This is goodbye forever

Piedmon: *Grins as he turned into data* Haha....I will be back, mark my words, Lunamon

Crescemon: *Stays silent as he vanished and stands up straight*

Lilia: Livy, are you alright!?

Livia: *Falls to her knees sighing*

Deuce: LIV!

Livia: Haha, I'm fine...thank the sevens

Ace: *Gasos as the roof started caving in* HEY WE GOTTA BEAT IT!

Gaogamon: *Leaps out through the broken window*

Metal Greymon: *Charges out after him, gliding down*

How would Digimon! Yuu react to the Tsum tsums?

Digimon doesn't mind them but Floyd Tsum Tsum makes their fight or flight to activate. Only because it tried to squeeze them.

I feel like they love the calmer ones since they don't cause them to take care of them, plus it's a fresh breath from the actual person who causes trouble for them.

Fun fact that I can only imagine the chaos when revealed. Baalmon can apparently steak your soul if you lose to them in a game of knowledge, but if you win you can ask them for their knowledge. And since NRC is full of impulsive teenagers...

Everyone at school knows. How? Well, it first started when when Ace and Deuce decided to ask Baal!Yuu a bit more about their "magic"...

[Set in cafeteria] Ace: So, anything else your weird magic can do?

Baal!Yuu: Well there is this unique ability all Baalmon have. However, I try to use it in moderation.

Grim: What, really!? Is it like some mega powerful unique magic!?

Baal!Yuu: In a way, yes. It’s called [Leak Information]. We can use this ability in many ways, the most common way is through a game of knowledge. If you are able to answer all of a Baalmon’s question correctly they’ll give you a bit of their knowledge for each question and vice versa if we get our opponent’s questions right.

Grim: Woah really!? Nyaagh, with that kind of ability I could’ve gotten smarter ages ago.

Deuce: Yeah, but sounds like you could lose it all if you don’t know the other’s question.

Deuce: Wait, you mentioned that you “use it in moderation”, what do you mean by that?

Baal!Yuu: To simply put it. If they continue to gamble with the game too much, their knowledge will soon extend to their memories. If they continue to loose after that point, it’ll be the same if they asked for a piece of our knowledge where they’ll have to pay a toll.

Ace: Really, what’s the price?

Baal!Yuu: To put it simply, if they lose the game too much or ask us for that piece, we basically take their soul.

. . .

Pfft, hahaha!

Baal!Yuu: . . .

Ace: Nice joke Prefect, now tell us the real price.

Baal!Yuu: . . .

Ace: That was a joke, right Yuu?

Baal!Yuu: . . .

Grim: He-Henchman...?

Baal!Yuu: Oh would you look at that, class is about to start soon. You should probably finish eating. *Leaves with a worried Grim*

Deuce: Ace, I... I don’t think they were kidding.

Ace: Deuce, this conversation never happened.

Of course word got out, either because the braincell duo accidentally let it slip or some other students overheard the conversation. Since then, more gutsy (or idiotic as Baal!Yuu calls them) students had challenged Baal!Yuu, thinking it would be easy way to get out of studying. It wasn’t and all of them lost to Baal!Yuu, the later giving back their knowledge after a few days to avoid any future conflict. Luckily, it stopped after a while, which Baal!Yuu was thankful for, they were getting sick of it.

Twisted Wonderland headcanon:

Their equivalent of Pokemon/Digimon is Spectrobes.

Spectrobes is a Disney owned franchise so it's totally viable for it to be in Twisted Wonderland.

I got a wild idea: What if Splashmon!Yuu (or any Yuus that are an actual Digimon instead of a Chosen Child) speaks in binary instead of regular language. They can speak in common tongue/English (or whatever language TWST is using), but decided to break it down to 0s and 1s just for the sake of it.

Also, them cussing and Idia looking mortified and covering Ortho's ears.
