What is an EVA ABS doll and what is it supposedly a recast of? Are you guys maybe thinking of EvaBJD which is an aliex/ebay store that sells recast bjds as well as knockoff barbie/monster high/fashion dolls? Are these 2 different things that people are getting mixed up?

Hello again, tumblr.
I return to you once more. If you’re finding this, let me be courteous and greet you! Hello, stranger! I am aakiyume, a lover of all crafts, diy, and toys.
My goal with this blog is to just share photos of my creations and my toys. Maybe a few animal posts every now and then.
The picture of the doll I have included is my EVABJD, Reira. She is 1/3 scale. Along with her, I have 3 other dolls and 1 doll on it’s way to me. There is Lily, a factory Blythe, and Kyo and Rin who are Obitsu11s.
My boy who is on the way, is name pending but I’m leaning towards the name Shin. We will see when he gets here. :)

One of our hens laid, what we call, a fart.
However, it’s perfect for Reira to pose with.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who wondered about EvaBjd's dolls being recast.  I got fairylily doll from eBay and used its head to hybrid a Dddy.  The head is vinyl but lovely.  So I bought another through AlieExpress and not only did it come with a recast head on the body, the body was a terrible quality, brittle, hard plastic with vents for a voice box (I guess).  I threw the whole works out except for the shoes. For some reason, THEY fit my Dddy hybrid fine!

I’m the anon who asked if EvaBJD was a recast shop, the comments on my confession said they only sell original abs dolls but in their aliexpress shop they have resin minifees and dolls labeled with “ouneifs” or however it’s spelled, which I thought was a recaster name. Not sure where you guys got that they only have original abs dolls? Anyway my question still stands—if they’re legit I want this one resin doll they have, but I don’t want to accidentally get a recast.

EvaBJD is 100% confirmed to sell recasts and vinyl copies of Angel Studio and other bjds as well as knockoff fashion dolls. They’re either a recaster or a shady storefront that’s selling recasts they got from somewhere. We should assume that buying from them, even if the doll looks like an original, will fund recasters indirectly at the very least.

Asking because I really don’t know, not trying to be mean or accuse anyone of anything: no one brought it up in the comments on the Walter confession, but I thought EvaBJD was a recast shop? I’ve seen them selling fash doll clones and bjds made by other companies on Aliexpress so I thought they were a recasters, are they actually a legit dealer that’s just able to charge less because of their location?

Okay but some of those ABS dolls are cute af. Like the blank sets are super affordable and there are less muscular boys available. My favorite is the cutie with elf ears and green hair by EvaBJD.
