Hi, I m Sahar Hussain, This is my final project with using silk screen, The difference i made with the painting is the use of oil ink ,it was fun but i had difficulties washing off the silk screen and also it takes longer than usual to dry.

FA327 Final project

Supervised by Mrs.Patricia Barakat.

The main idea of the project is to introduce us to Screen printing, and Pop art that the artist Andy Warhol was known for.

Personally the experience was a bit challenging at first, but eventually I got the hang of it.😃

We also had to choose a celebrity to create the print, So I choose Audry Hepburn.

I’m pretty satisfied with the results, and I’m looking forward to creating more pop art prints in the near future.

Size: A2 paper

Materials used:

Ink water substitute.

A3 Acetate paper.

A4 200gsm papers for each print.

Screen frame.

Squeegee.

FA327 FINAL PROJECT (SILKSCREEN,POP ART PRINTING ANDY WARHOL)

In this work we are required to choose a famous person or an artist and then we transform it in the way of Andy Warhol’s pop art and I chose Audrey Hepburn because she is my favorite actress. At the beginning of the work I went through a little difficulty🤕then I started to get used to the method of this art. It was a fun and special experience and I hope it will be repeated again❤️✨️.
