So I know I've been a little quiet lately on the Sims CC front, so I thought I'd update you all on what stage I'm up to on each project:

1. The Elderwood Manor Build

I was working on testing this build for functionality etc, and tried to test in different spots in the neighbourhood, and that's when I discovered some broken terrain in the back of the lot (where the terrain slopes from road height to the beach). I've tried to fix it, haven't had any success yet. So I may end up having to either:

Do more heavy research on how to repair just the broken part - putting off uploading it until fixed, or

Remaking the build as close as possible to how it currently looks but on a flatter beach lot to avoid breaking terrain

Either way, it's unfortunately not ready to post for you all to enjoy just yet, I'M SORRY!!! 😭😭😭 I was really hoping to post it but I'd rather not give you guys a broken lot.

I haven't made basically any progress on this outfit since I last shared a texture WIP here. No excuse really, just taking on too much for my little pea-sized brain to handle and can feel the ADHD burnout creeping in so I don't wanna push myself too hard. Making my CC textures is exhausting, and takes a very big toll on ye olde✨mental✨ so I promise it will get done, but I just require some time to recharge so that way I can share the best possible retextures for you all to enjoy.

2. The Harlow Jumpsuit outfit

This one is about 75 to 80% complete. It's another very time consuming project, with the screen recording, video editing, voice over recording, blah blah blah. The biggest problem I have is that I feel the need to announce when I'm working on something (to build interest and anticipation for what's to come) but then take ages to finish it - which leaves people wondering if I'm just full of shit or actually going through with it 😂😂but I promise the tut is happening still!

3. Retexturing YouTube Tutorial

Don't expect this one anytime this decade🤣 I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm winging it entirely. Watch this space though, because who knows maybe I'll just magically find the willpower and mental capacity to figure it all out.

4. Stretched earlobe mesh

And...5. Whatever this hair is

So I did a recolour of a base game hair to make an undercut bun hairstyle (that's accurate to my real life five-head)...not sure if anyone would ever even want this in their game. So far I haven't gotten around to binning it, or even making it in different hair colours. It's also just using a Maxis texture I stole from a different hair and reworked to fit this one. But anyway, that one...exists...for some ungodly reason 😅😂

If you read this far, and haven't given up on me or this page yet then I'm eternally grateful (and slightly confused, but I won't question your intentions 😝)

To be honest with you all, I've got a heap of stressful shit going on in the real worldz right now so bear with me and I'll eventually work through the current projects I'm yet to finish.

re: wanting to draw, i'd say go for it! 🙌💪 i think that it can be a fun skill to develop, and i'd recommend starting with things that YOU want to draw / see art of (because making yourself happy w/self-indulgent things is great!).

drawing advice under the read more, because this kinda got long oops 🥴

i would say that being resourceful and patient make for good qualities to have in your learning journey (among many other things)! art can be a rollercoaster with how we feel towards our own work ("WOAH I DREW THAT" vs "NOO WHY DO IT LOOK LIKE THAT").

so basically: striving to have a good mindset + drawing something that interests you will keep art as a sustainable practice!

if you're looking to get better at art- i highly recommend finding some kind of visual reference and trying to recreate them / understand them! i wouldn't be where i am without them 😭

i usually focus on photo references but i also look at drawn references + 3d models sometimes (mostly for likeness purposes).

for photo references, i like to look through pinterest + stock photo sites + google as a starting point! or you can set up a tripod with a camera and pose in front of it if searching the web doesn't exactly have what you want...

and if you want to draw persona characters, i think i've seen their 3d models for both miku miku dance (MMD) + xnalara which can be helpful if you want to see them from all sorts of angles (when official artwork doesn't suffice). hell i have to regularly look at manga panels of ryoji sometimes because i forget how to draw his hair every time LMFAO ITS SO DIFFICULT... 😭

honestly, trying to provide any concise art advice within an ask is difficult since the practice of breaking down references can be hard to convey over text. so i'll link to my art summary from 2021, which has a list of resources that you could check out!

it might be helpful to watch videos/streams of drawing too! or any tutorials that walk you through the basic shapes.

AND I SWEAR i am almost done talking BUT! the most important part is to have fun and focus on getting what you personally want of the art process. i hope that the list of resources can help if you want to find some guides on How To Do Things.... if u need any clarification feel free to leave a reply or come by the inbox again!

I saw that Aladdin was being performed right now, I was also interested in that…!

Out of Disney movies I probably, watched Aladdin the most as a kid With Aladdin and, the after story..? The shorter anime..? too Uwaa its really nostalgic🥺🥺🥺

With is Aladdin performance, I got a ticket since! The timing was right!

I went and it was really amazing

No matter the stage, I really love the moment the curtain rises but,

Ahh Alice 🥰 yeah summer classes are WHEW I'm taking 2. One is a 5 week session so it ends next week and I'm hype 🤩 we literally had a test every week in that class and we'd do a new chapter of material every single day it was INSANE but I think I'm gonna get an A in the class so that's all that really matters, right??! The other class is either 8 or 10 weeks idk but it ends late July! That one is definitely still accelerated but definitely more manageable that the other. Even tho my professor wants us to read over 100 pages in the textbook while also watching 4 hours worth of lecture videos 🙃 but at least I have a week to do that rather than a night jsjjssj but since I'll still have the other class I don't expect really doing anything over the summer :(( it's my first summer away from my family 😭 hopefully I'll be able to go home for a weekend or something but I don't expect doing anything exciting other than that 🥲 but since I'm at my apartment I spend time with my roommates when I can and I've made some new friends through them so I'm dealing with it well :)

And yes oml ofc I thought of you 🥺 my favorite enha account!! I've been in Enha feels so bad bc of iland ndnsnsns I've had my enha Playlist on repeat and I think I listened to attention please 75 times in one day so... 😳 I've been spending most of my breaks between hw watching their videos hehe it feels like I'm stanning all over again! Erza Scarlet

The most powerful female mage belonging to the mage guild Fairy Tail.

I'm not the type to respond to requests -because- I get tons of requests every day, and I always want to write/draw about what I like.

I don't usually respond to requests, but... the idea of Erza and Jellal's child... I thought it might make a good subject for a video.

So I came up with this idea.

One thing to note is that just because the author drew it, it is not part of the official/canon setting.

This is for fun.

It is a self-parody.

I would appreciate it if you could remember that and enjoy it.

Now, let's get on with it.

First of all, I'm not sure whether to draw a boy or a girl.

My image is a boy.

For now.

Let's set the age at about 10 years old.

Let's do it as we draw!

First of all, let's choose the boy's hair color.

Erza has red hair and this Jellal has blue hair, so the child... I don't know... purple, maybe?

Purple, a bit simple, isn't it?

I'm not sure if it's that simple.

They (children) often take it from the colour of the hair on one of the parents.

If one parent has blonde hair and the other pink, the child's hair will be one or the other. (Nalu reference)

This time I'm thinking of mixing it up a bit.

Yes, I've done a rough draft.

I've changed the characterisation a bit.

I said earlier that she (Erza) was a cool character.

But as I was drawing...

I thought maybe an "honour student" character would be better. I made him a bit more like an honour student.

The reason for this is simply because... Fairy Tail is a work of art. I'm just imagining it, but there are a few characters that are children of other characters and I wanted to find a balance between them (balance of personalities).

It's a story that's incomprehensible to people who don't know it, but in my mind... I've taken the liberty of balancing things out a bit.

(TN: Mashima sensei had a mental image of how the next gen personalities will combine in a posible story, so that's why he made him like this, looking like an honour student)

Hi Milky!! I hope you had/are having a nice day today! Last night I finally told myself that I was going to TAKE A BREAK and it was so nice! I ended up watching all the T-Talk videos from that Twitter masterlist you gave me and omggg I was both laughing and awing the entire time!! The first one I watched was Jeongwoo and Haruto and I was straight up like wait when was this filmed why are they so awkward together 😭😭?? I was like.. Has treasure box even been filmed?? I got context later that it had but omg Haruto was a MENACE to Jeongwoo man was literally just trying to make convo and he was giving one word responses im so dead I can see why you'd bias him he's so funny!! But I also wanted to give Jeongwoo the biggest hug after that video and the other one he was in with yoshi. Sweetest boy truly 🥺 also these videos made me get slightly bias wrecked by Asahi 🥴 he's so iconic I literally can't I ended up watching a fan video afterwards of him "proving he is not human but instead a robot" and I Was ROLLING I also found two videos or treasure vs their editors and oh my gosh they were so funny jdndjsjs back in my treasure feels that's for sure!! I still think I'm Hyunsuk and Yoshi biased but maybe Asahi will become an official bias wrecker... Not sure yet! I'll keep you posted lol

Also I'm so so so glad you liked the songs!! Fallen Star and Illusion were written entirely by two of the members (Mujin and Dann!) so I love that they are my two favorite b sides!! Makes it feel extra special yanno?? And then Promise is such a kdrama vibe omg it's the first b side to get an MV actually!! It's a whole kdrama smashed into 3 minutes. Also my gecko!! Yes he is the sweetest boy. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before or not but I am studying Russian! I really love hockey and my fav player is Russian so... Gosh almost 8 years ago I started learning Russian bc I was interested in learning more about him and his culture. I actually got his Russian Olympic hockey jersey to wear to school but one of my friends called me a Communist bc of it (this is going somewhere I promise nfnsns). I was like bestie where lol and he said bc it was Russian I am a Communist so I was like.. I mean okay go off I guess. And so when I got my gecko he was like well since you're a Communist you definitely have to name him Stalin. And I was like lol dope sure. I like prefacing his name with the story of how it came about bc it can be jarring to some people and especially now with the invasion I don't want to give off the vibe that I actually support it 😭😭 especially since it all started with a silly joke about me being a Communist lol. But yes his name is stalin! A long roundabout way of telling you but ☺️ despite the name he is a total sweetheart

we begin with a tough one!! 🌪🌪 I couldn't choose Just One, but i think the one closer to being my genuine fave at the moment is fue mejor by kali uchis! I absolutely love the atmosphere she creates throughout the entirety of sin miedo, but it's just. incredibly *chef kiss* in fue mejor, and the lyrics oh my god... 🥺🥺 i just Know this song would have had a major impact on me if it had been released during hs.. 😭💙

the other faves I have right now are unchained by the veronicas.... it was featured in a show I'm watching lately + i forgot how much of a fucking capital b BANGER it is... i love how upbeat and punchy the rhythm is and the chorus, UGHH. it's not enough to say that i miss you!!! I've also been loving get real by chairlift- that song is just. whoo girl. i love caroline polachek's voice and chairlift's instrumentals are normally always really good but that song is something else from them <3

I think Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind holds that rn, i cried. a Lot watching that film and it's just so so good.. Ghibli altogether has a near and dear spot in my heart + I'm excited to marathon my collection once we move! I also really liked 28 Days Later- my brother-in-law and I watched a lot of apocalypse films to pass the time when we first had to quarantine and this one... fuck man. found family in zombie movies,, it hits different 🥺 If anyone is interested in watching it, please be cautious of the racism, sexism and rape perpetuated + attempted by the antagonists towards the end of the movie (the racism being holding a black man who'd become a zombie in chains) My brother and I watched a short video essay about The Wandering Earth + i genuinely cried just watching that, so i REALLY want to see it even though i think it will kill me..

35. favourite subject

music ofc <3 and I still have so much to learn!! i know Nothing about chords beyond like. "oh this is what a tritone, major seventh, etc looks like". I'm really uneducated on like. academic music theory, if that makes sense??? I know enough to be able to sing a sing but beyond that.. ahaha. I'm excited to learn about it all when I go back to uni, whenever that'll be lmao! Beyond music, I think I'd have to say math, which is kind of a surprise haha. I used to Love english and analyzing characters, authorial intent, etc but I've really just burnt out of it and Especially essay-writing. I'm not always great at math (helping my brother w school revealed how rusty i've become, mamba mimba), but there is something SO satisfying about breaking down issues and solving them mathematically. I also think it's insane how it can be integrated into SO much.. I saw a video about a woman who makes clothes with origami, and how she really depends on math to do that, and it's just... it's insane and I don't understand it + I think it would take me a long time to wrap my mind around How people even begin to do that, but that's fine! it is endlessly fascinating!

49. where i want to be right now

unsure with whether or not this question is meant physically or like. in general, so I'll answer for both? ^^/ I think I'm always going to miss being at my sister's house (and maybe esp during lockdown?), that's just an ingrained part of my identity now haha. beyond that, I'd reaaaaallly love to be in a new house so that I could do everything I've been wanting to do since I graduated/flew home. I was supposed to take a gap year after graduation to recover from how absolutely burnt out I was, but because our current house is a monster house, I really haven't been able to. once we move I think I'll be much better off :')

on the topic of better off, I really wish i had a job.. a lot of the stress and just. shitty parts of living rn, outside of The House, comes from the fact I don't have a stable source of income right now. I won't go into detail but I have to ration things + second-guess my purchases and it just hhh, It feels Bad yk. :( Plus I'm supposed to be taking vocal lessons as of this month to begin preparing for auditions but um uh. 😳😳😳 so i guess, overall, I want to be in the future haha. this is a rough patch but it has to end eventually ^^

I've watched plentiful of testimonies of people who accepted Jesus from all around the world. Many from countries where Christianism is shunned if not forbidden.. and yet, they all saw unequivocally CHRISTIAN signs such as the cross, dreaming of bible verses, being approached by Christians, etc.

I recently talked to a person (not Christian but questioning about it somehow (?)) who said they saw a cross in their wall!!! Isn't is wonderful??

I believe that there only one God and that God is intelligent enough to be clear in how He conveys Himself. He is YHWH - not Allah or Krishna or Buddha or whatever. He is the only true God who sacrificed His own son to save the whole world. And He wants to save you too anon💙✝️ if you're getting curious about Christ, that's already a sign that He's tryin to reach out to you💜✝️
