So I really hate everything about how this has being treated. I am a SA victim and wanna talk about some stuff. If you didn't know, in episode 4 (I think) there is an exploration of Angel Dust SA, before going to do that lets see some stuff first:

This person also worked in/directed the scenes of Angel dust Sexual abuse in the episode. The person that ships a r-pe ship and does all this shit is the one to work in this scene?????

Why does Angel sexually harrases Husk non-stop (which is acknowledged by Vaggie)? Why is Moxxie SA by the succubus played for laughs? Same with Chaz or Blitz harassing him sexually or touching him without consent? Why did Stolas do so many unwanted advances towards Blitz, and that's literally the endgame couple of the show? (All of this are jokes, or by the Husk x Angel shit "ship moments"

Also, the problem is not having an SA victim's story. The problem is how it is treated and all the context that surrounds it. All of this above is that context! Why is so much SA jokes in Helluva? Why is that funny? You want to tell a story of SA, and anyone calling out the problems with it is deleting victims feelings and stories... YOU AND YOUR STUPID FUCKING JOKES DO THAT ALREADY. This is also not a scenario where there was a realization of the problems in HB with all those jokes and the harassment, so it was trying to be fixed with a serious story in hazbin. NO, THAT'S NOT IT!!!!

If there was an apology of how the sexual assault was treated in previous works! "We'll make up for it!" (the fact of that was a thing in the first place, it's still bad). That would be a little different. BUT NO, IT'S NOT! IT'S HYPOCRITICAL AND GARBAGE BULLSHIT.

I think purely by the context already given here that I think the representation it's bad. I don't feel like it comes from a good place, due to the hypocritical shit, the comments, and the artist who directed it.

We could go really back and forth with the direct scenes of the episode. BUT THIS IS ABOUT THE CONTEXT SURROUND IT rather than the scenes themselves. (Which is partly connected to the fact that it's incomplete)

Here is the scene "Tuca and Bertie". Is Bertie telling her friend of her assault. It's amazingly respectful and well written. It's not graphic, and tells the story really well.

Finally.

After all this years of trying, after all this attempts, you were finally dead !

And what do we do when we have achieved such a feat ? We drink until the morning !

As you drank, you recounted your feat of finally dying to the bartender, some sort of cat-bird demon.

He gave you a judgmental look when you told him you were 15 and died of suicide.

But you were used to it, people often judge you while you were alive and was trying every second to die.

After a few hours, you were drunk and followed the bartender back to his place, a small apartment in a quiet corner of Hell.

You shouldn't follow someone to their home, you know that, but for your defense, you were drunk and he was a cat. And you have a weakness for cats.

Two things making it impossible to refuse his invitation.

And, if anything ever went wrong, you always had your gun with you, which had appeared at the same time as you in Hell.

The bartender's name was Husk and he kind of adopted you ? You weren't even sure if one sinner could adopt another sinner.

Life was calm with Husk, and you somehow helped him with his work.

By that I mean you were stopping the powers of other demons with your power, so you used it to kick out all the assholes who attacked him from the bar.

You and Husk had this dynamic of "Father who will kill for his child & Child who will sacrifice themselves for their father."

And then, one day you had to move to the Hazbin Hotel because Husk find a work there.

Alastor was surprised to see that Husk now had a kid–he didn't think it was possible for an alcoholic like him to have a child.

And he learned that Husk had cut down on his drinking, so he could be a better father.

*very kindly and not at all suspiciously notes this fact in the back of his mind.*

The hotel was quite shocked to know that you were a child from a fucking mafia and that you had died of suicide at 15 years old. If Husk hadn't informed them about that, they never would have suspected it.

Your humor worries them more than anything else.

Charlie is worry every time you make jokes about suicide while your dad rolls his eyes at it.

Husk was used to your jokes after a few months of living together.

The hotel wasn't.

Charlie is like your older sister, optimistic and a little naive at times.

She always tries to make you see the bright side of things and to make you forget this idea of double death.

Spoiler : it doesn't work.

Lucifer sees you like one of his children.

He spoils you like he spoiled Charlie when she was just a child.

Husk often makes side eyes at him, accusing him of trying to steal his child.

And that was true.

Lucifer, Charlie, Husk and Angel Dust are the ones who are the most concerned about your mental health.

Alastor wanted to make you sign a contract "I become powerful and Alastor releases my father from his contract in exchange of stopping trying to kill myself."

You didn't sign it.

Alastor tried to use you to spy on Vox and the Vees because he was bored and wanted some entertainment.

It worked.

Alastor do radio shows with you sometimes, you two are called "The RadioDuo".

His audience LOVES you.

You gained Alastor some listeners btw.

You help Niffty with her work at the Hotel.

Even if Charlie said you didn't have to do it, you do it anyway.

Vaggie take all your guns because you apparently “didn’t need” them.

You managed to recover them with a little manipulation.

Angel Dust could see himself in you.

You reminded him of his little human self, Anthony, broken by the world and wanting to end it. A family running the Mafia and forcing him to join it.

You're a bit like him, but compared to him, who fought to survive, had a reason to survive, you had nothing, no reason to fight, and you gave up.

When Angel Dust isn't working, he usually stays with you and Husk.

He doesn't want to abandon you, leave you alone in such a rotten world. He wants you to be protected and to be the child you never could be.

He will never let anyone touch you, never.

Husk and Angel Dust are usually the ones who bandage you after SH, Angel Dust doesn't say anything as he does it, because he understands. Husk doesn't speak as well, but you can see that by doing so he's blaming himself, making you instantly regret it.

Don't try to kill yourself in front of them, please. They're already worried enough, don't add more.

Hotel Hazbin was, in a way, your family.

And you would kill everyone in this room before killing yourself before anything happened to them.

Sinner’s Demon Designs vs. Their Human Designs—

I’ll start off by saying I’m not trying to shame anyone or say these design choices are bad-it’s just something I’ve noticed about Helluva Boss’ character design choices that struck me as odd considering Hazbin Hotel’s character designs-specifically the designs of the “Sinners” or characters that were once human.

More than anything I just think it’s interesting, and am trying to examine the character designs from a world-building perspective.

So, since rewatching HB, I’ve realized that the Sinner Versions we see of Human characters are pretty close in design to their Human selves.

It’s very easy to tell these are the same characters. They’re all the same proportions with the same face shapes, and have similar silhouettes. (Critique continues below)

Now, this could change for Hazbin Hotel (and maybe there already are canon human designs for the HH sinners that I couldn’t find?) but in my opinion, most of the designs don’t translate well to what their human forms might have looked like. There’s of course exceptions to this, with the more humanoid demons, but with demons like Angel Dust, Husk, and Sir Pentious, I assume their human forms look almost nothing like their demon selves.

I think the main reason for this probably boils down to the Hazbin cast having established designs way before the series was created, but I feel this has created a problem where there are SOMETIMES rules for why Sinners look the way they do, and sometimes the designs seem completely random.

I’ve read that the way that sinners are designed is based partially on the way they die, and if that’s true, there doesn’t seem to be any rules or guidelines on WHEN to convey that—Mrs. Mayberry’s sinner form doesn’t particularly hint towards her death in any way in my opinion, but it’s VERY clear that the counselor died via drowning/water.

This wouldn’t be a huge issue on its own, but the creators have stated multiple times that Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel take place in the same universe. The rules for why characters are designed the way they are should be clear visually, but the designs of the Hazbin cast have always seemed random and confusing to me personally.

It looks like the majority of the Hazbin cast are designed after animals, but that’s not always clear either.

I didn’t realize that Angel was supposed to be a spider until I was explicitly told that was what he was, and I thought Alastor was an Owl based character due to his hair looking like a great horned owl’s feather tufts, and because his antlers were so small and dark that I didn’t notice them until I watched the pilot the first time. It’s possible the first drafts of these designs looked more like the animals they’re supposed to be based on, but if you don’t know all of the backstory or haven’t been following the creators, I’m not sure how you’re supposed to recognize these things.

Overall, I don’t think it’s a BAD thing to have a cast of characters that have very different designs, or don’t have very clear design rules for their universe. But in my opinion, having this big of a difference in the Sinner’s character designs when all of these characters are supposed to share the same universe really confuses things.

More than anything though I just found this sort of interesting. I’d be interested to hear more about the process of designing sinner characters, and to see what more sinners look like outside of the main cast that was initially designed several years ago.

Also please don’t send me hate—I like Helluva Boss, and I’ll probably like Hazbin Hotel. I just enjoy critiquing and examining the stuff I like and I’ve been on an HB kick since I rewatched the series recently and while watching this just occurred to me and I wanted to talk about it.

Layers I love in the "King Roach" moment:

Roaches are commonly associated with resilience and their ability to survive extreme conditions. Alastor becomes their king right before he fights Adam, nearly being "killed by a hair" but ultimately pulling through

The subject/royalty dynamic given that Niffty is someone Alastor called in to serve the hotel

The reversal too where Niffty is the one doing the dubbing here, demonstrating agency as she grants this title, reflecting how she seems to be on more equal footing with Alastor than, say, him and Husk

We know Niffty has a "collection" of bug-related things (not just the bugs themselves but stuff like bits of Valentino's fur too) so by making Alastor into a bug-thing she's going, "You're mine and important to me! :D"

The crown is made out of literal bugs so this is Niffty presenting Alastor with her conquests. It feels like a cat bringing their owner dead birds if the owner also had a deep appreciation for that because they collected human souls on the side

Niffty has just mentioned putting on "roach puppet shows." Alastor is now a (kinda) roach (kinda) puppet (the threads and strings holding his limbs together when in his demon form)

Alastor has also just admitted that he could get used to staying here. Niffty likes the HH fam because they're nice about those roach puppet shows. It's like a through-line: Hazbin Hotel is good b/c acceptance of roach things + Alastor is now a roach thing = Alastor good for Hazbin Hotel?? You fit! Let's stay!!

The roaches have red eyes so they pair well with Alastor's suit and there are pink flowers that pair well with Niffty's outfit

Lucifer: This is done by something ancient, as old as God himself. It was the reason for the First Heavenly War.

Leviathan: Luci, are you sure?

Lucifer merely looks back to Belphegor.

Beelzebub: What makes this different?

Belphegor: I.. do not have an answer to that as of now. We can attempt to cast a seal again but the power of the Sins will not be enough. We need every bit of high power Hell has.

Lucifer: I wouldn't have called you all here otherwise.

Zestial raises their hand to interject.

Zestial: Prithee, pardon, my liege. But who be this Roo thou dost mention?

Lucifer: The Root of All Evil. Don't know how it came to be in the first place. In the war, it got weakened enough for God to banish it to a dark pit that is now Hell. But after I gave humanity the fruit of knowledge... it regained power. The Sins and I barely managed to weaken it again to seal it below Sloth. We were incapacitated for a long time.

He catches his daughter's eyes.

Lucifer: It took each of us close to a century to recover.

Carmila: If I may, your majesty- us overlords cannot afford to lose our power- especially for as long as you said.

Zestial: Carmila speaketh true. Thou art the loftiest powers of hell, sin incarnate. And his majesty hath the blood of angels. If it hath drained thee so deeply, envision its effect upon a mere mortal soul.

A certain TV overlord let out indignant laugh.

Vox: Are you serious? You think we'll let ourselves lose power for this shit show?

Paimon: You would think before you badmouth your king, sinner!

Lucifer moves to sit on the table, propping up a leg to rest his elbow on. He didn't bother to button his shirt back on- these demons can use the reminder.

Lucifer: You can do whatever you want. I gave you free will, didn't I?But, do remember- death reaps from the bottom first. You are free to go as you please.

The Vees stand up first, muttering curses under their breaths.

Valentino: Ugh! I knew we shouldn't have come. A waste of fuckin-

The moth overlord was cut off by his own screams the moment he passed through the door.

At the same time, Angel Dust doubled over, hand clutching his throat as he coughed violently.

Husk and the others went closer in concern, willing Angel to breath slow while also asking him what's wrong.

Valentino stops screaming as he is held by Vox and Velvette. The Goetia's look on in curiosity while the other sinners all stood up in surprise.

Angel, still holding his throat, gasps.

Angel: No way.

Husk: Angel?? Are you okay?!

Angel let out a single chuckle that slowly turned into maniacal laughter.

Husk: Kid, you're scarin' me.

Angel: I'm free.

Husk: What?

Angel: I'm fuckin' free!

Angel continues to laugh some more while the sinner put two and two together.

Valentino: What the fuck did you do?!

The overlord shouted a the king.

Lucifer: Oh right! So that's what I forgot.

The Sins began to snicker behind their King as Valentino become even angrier. The rest of the overlords who were planning to leave as well are now rooted in place.

Velvette: You can't just do that! You said we could leave! The fuck happened to free will?!

Lucifer: And why not? You all can leave and not help. I won't stop you. But I am gonna be taking all the soul contracts you have. A small price to pay for staying in the safety of your own home while we risk our lives, no?

The lights of the hotel began to flicker as the aura around Lucifer and the Sins darken, 7 pairs of glowing menacing eyes and smiles show.

The entire room freezes, petrified at the horrifying image they are seeing in front of them.

Lucifer: Or did you forget?

The Devil grins.

Lucifer: You're in my house, bitch.

Im back!!

So things have slowed down! So I’ll try to write the second chapter of ‘His Favorite Alibi’ either tonight or over the weekend! Expect it sometime between Friday 4/19 and Monday 4/22! Also my birthday is sometime in the last week of April (not comfortable saying when) and since I love writing and drawing, I’m going to be posting a drawing of all characters that will be involved in my AU fanfic (including ones yet to be shown ^^) sometime then! It’s a sketch currently and I’m not sure if it’s better colored or not. May post one earlier and the other on my birthday with a bonus character from HH in human form that you guys vote for to draw and possibly incorporate into the story! Going to post the WIP bellow. I’m not super happy with my Alastor and Vox. Deffo could have done better so I’m going to put a lot more time into this one!

I don’t know how I would make Lucifer and Charlie work. Like they still need to be themselves and they don’t have past lives. Maybe like characters loosely based off their personalities? Or maybe they just like hiding on earth idk. If you vote those please explain how you think they would be there…

Earlier today I thought about sending you this ask, but I thought "the focus here is to talk about HH, not HB" but then, you answered an ask about Stolas, so I came to ask my "ask" (in quotes because it's not an ask, but rather a design comparison because I like it, yayyy)

Stolas is an owl right? So if you'll excuse me, here are two owls, my oc's, one from "Star Fox" the other from "Swat Kats" and now that I stop to think, I should have taken Stellar as a reference because she is a female, but honestly I don't even know if she's an owl so screw it, let's get to the comparison:

(sorry for the background in the first photo, I was too lazy to take a photo of just her) can you see how chubby they are? and Stolas is so thin that it hurts? I don't understand that, Viv at least knows how to make thin people with big waists, but she didn't even do that here, and let's face it, owls are chubby and don't have a damn neck (similar to a human's when humanized) and Stolas does!! It's the same thing that irritates me about Vox (the TV, I don't know if that's how his name is spelled) he has a TV head!! Why does he have a neck?!?!

and other!!! you can see the difference between Yanter (first photo) and Carlie (second photo) but you can see that they are both owls, but remember what I said about Stellar? So, you can't tell the difference between she and Stolas, I'm not saying in terms of appearance, I'm saying in terms of species, every species has something similar, but if Stellar is really an owl, what is the similarity between her and Stolas, which is not the same similarity between another character (a blue one, I think she's Stellar's cousin) WHO IS NOT EVEN AN OWL!! BECAUSE IF YOU DO THIS, VIV, YOU DO YOUR AUDIENCE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT STELLAR IS!!! SHE IS AN OWL? A PEACOCK?? TELL ME!

... sorry.. I got stressed.. I guess.. that's all I have to say... sorry, I just wanted to say that because I feel a little need to show that my designs are better than Viv's (even if that's not very difficult) sorry for the inconvenience, bye bye

I have no idea what bird Stella is either but if I had to design her I’d probably make her an albino cockatiel. I actually have a LOT of ideas on how to fix Stella but just for a quick birdie ref

I do plan on eventually redesigning Stolas and getting rid of that god awful neck. I don’t understand why Vivzie is allergic to fat people, I don’t think she’s realised the joy of having fat/chubby characters or even muscular ones. Husk, Velvette, Charlie, and Vox are all designs that I personally think are amplified when made chubbier or muscular and when I see them in the show I literally do a double take like *little skinny man runs past my screen* who is that did you guys see that

For the neck on Vox though, I don’t get… how?? His neck works in the show?? I know for my version of Vox his neck moves kind of like this

But uh.

Yeah none of that here. I guess you could say it’s attached at the bottom, because it is!

but also poses like this dont make sense, his neck is show behind his head but its not.

Idk, It’s a small nitpick but it’s something that bothers me too. I’m still working on some of the things for Vox like his joints and such, but Vivzie seems to put in substantially less effort than anything either of us have done

Anyway keep up the designs they look really good!!!

Thinking about Eve meet with Husk and Niffty and how uneasy Alastor felt when Eve said “can I borrow them for a sec for reasons you don’t need to know” because Alastor pet is Eve pet too and Alastor couldn’t refuse it

(Poor Husk because he’s in the middle of two possessive being lmao)

Okay, but I have a few headcanons regarding Eve that I am gong to have to explain before I write anything:

This woman was created after Lillith to be a better version of her. That alone would mess anyone up once they find that out.

Sh is the one who actually committed the original sin by biting in that Apple that in HH Lucifer tempted her to take. The ensuring punishment by God and being cursed at by everyone for simply biting into an apple once a long, long time ago also would mess anyone up.

I like to think that just like Alastor Eve has a preference for women after all according to the Bible she is the first woman that got cursed with painful childbirth, period and having to be 'subservient to her husband', etc. So I think she would blame herself for the struggles women face but after a few thousand years of that this blame became much more warped especially since apparently she and Adam did get to have a place in Heaven which would contradict their original punishment. But you cannot question any of this because God is the one who made both these contractory seeming decisions and she has already found out once what questioning God means

If Eve is the one who owns Alastors soul than her marriage with Adam must have been bad enough for Alastor to not fear that he will face any negative consequences if he kills/hurts Adam.

Eve is every human souls (except Adam and Lillith) mother. She is also very disappointed in her children, just like Adam, and thinks that God is right with Heaven and Hell and she would prefer for most of her unworthy/naughty ones to be gone so the worthy/good ones can thrive. But instead of Adam she is being a creep and not an a-hole about it.

Pet is perhaps the wrong word since they all are her children in a way. But if you have literally billions of trillions of souls in Heaven and Hell and Earth who are your descendants than it is impossible to care for all of them equally or at all.

If you are a soul in Heaven, she is actually a very caring and almost 'normal' mother figure to be around. After all, you are one of her good children and worthy enough of eternal Paradise.

It's with her 'naughty' children that she gets creepy with.

Anyway, here is the request:

Eve has 'requested' the company of Husk and Nifty. The last time she had 'requested' anyones company it had been Alastors and she had personally punished him for his 'naughty' deeds and disobedience for seven years.

So you can imagine that Alastor was not all that thrilled about that woman getting a hold of his two favorite souls without his supervision (that he was completely powerless to do anything if she wanted to punish either of them and that she would probably make him be the executioner of it because in her own eyes Husk and Nifty were his 'responsibility' was something his pride did not allowe him to consider).

But he could not do anything, even as he tried to .. lessen whatever punishment or other thing Eve had in store for Husk and NIfty.

But as he was, still, always and forever smiling thanks to stitches , trying to point out of indespenseble all of their presence and work at the Hotel was for Eves overall plan, he felt a .. paw on his shoulder.

And usually he would have reprimanded Husker for thinking that he could simply touch his Boss whenever he felt like it, but as he saw at the feline he realized that this was not meant to annoy Alastor but rather a strange unofficial 'thank you' as Husker seemed to understand what Alastor was trying to do.

But Husker did not really look at him, he looked at Eve.

"' 'Course we will go"

Husk did not bother to even try to go against someone that even Alastor was terrified of. Whatever would happen, Husk would try his best to keep the attention on him so that Nifty would hopefully be left ignored.

Eve laughed.

"You are a smart one, aren't you.", she came closer to Husk and pinched one of his cheeks in a condescending manner. "Don't you worry, momma is going to bring you and your little friend back in no time at all."

She did not bother to say anything to Alastor as all, except give him a smile that made Alastor feel very much like the deer he was.

And then, they were gone and Alastor was left alone.

Cursing under his breath, his smile still one but the shadow on the wall clearly showing a pained and worried expression.

Meanwhile, Nifty lived in utter ignorance of the potential danger they were in. Which would not be very hard to be since the three of them were in a brightly lit room with a rather pleasant and peaceful and, most importantly, incredibly clean surrounding

"So.. what do you want us to do, Boss?", Husk asked, clearly wanting to get this over with as quickly as possible. But the taller woman only smiled at him, clearly waiting for something more.. correct to be said. "Ma'am?" came out less confident and less sure than 'Boss' which seemed to please Eve.

"Why, Husker, I simply want to have a cup of tea with you and Nifty. After all, we are family, aren't we?"

Nifty liked, no, Nifty loved tea parties and it had been so long since she was able to have one that didn't include roaches or corpses. She told Eve as such.

A moment of tense silence followed, in which Husk prayed to a God he was sure stopped listening years ago that Eve liked the comment.

And sure, enough Eve started laughing which prompted Nifty to laugh which caused Husk to give a fake, poite but relieved laugh as well.

They both stopped the second Eve stopped.

"Now why don't we take a seat. I am sure, that this will be much more.. pleasant than your previous parties."

And, surprsingly, it was not as .. horrible as Husk feared it would be.

There was an underlying threat in everything Eve said and did, but she genuinly seemed to like Nifty if only because Nifty was the one who killed her ex-husband who it turned out had been rather rude and ungentlemanlike towards her, blaming her for the whole apple dea entirely and things had only gone downhill with the deat hof their son by their other son and Eve searching for comfort in .. another man, well demons, arms. She seemed to find a certain pleasure in Adam almost killing Alastor but she found an even greater one in knowing Adam had been killed by a woman, although that pleasure had been short lived and quickly replaced by repeantance and guilt.

Somewhere along the line, her hand had reached out towards Husk and she had started to pet him in a way that was clearly absentmindedly as she recalled her ..marriage. She even mentioned her relationship with her 'sister' whom she called a previous and 'lesser' version of herself.

Husk did not move an inch even though he really wanted to

#I want everyone to have a soft spot for Husk #So Eve is going to have a soft spoit for Husk and Nifty #which would be understandable since Nifty killed her ex-husband and #Husk is just a big grumpy and very fluffy cat #both qualities that someone who might or might not be a bit deranged #woudl appreciate

If the designs of sinners in Vivzie's HH/HB are based of animals (I still don't see any moth things in Val and Vaggie) then what the fuck are Husk, Niffty and Cherry?

Husk is supposed to be a cat (?) but then he has wings and weird tail, Niffty and Cherry have one eye each and look human otherwise. Also Vox has literally a screen for a head.

There aren't any rules of world building established, and while a lot of diversity isn't a bad thing (like in D&D there is a lot of races and types of monsters) you absolutely should set up some rules or else nothing will make sense and will leave people confused

I hope this problem will be resolved in the actual HH series but it's still Vivzie we are talking about 💀

She's too busy taking pictures of herself in Times Square and lovebombing the voice talent to care about unimportant little things like "basic rules of this world."

Just saw and commented on your new sinner designs, LOVE them all so much!

I do have to ask because your Deadbeat Motel lives rent-free in my head at this point, already a much better execution than HH IMO. Would Charlie and Valerie be tryna redeem Crymini, Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb- and possibly Husk and Nifty- or would their main focus of redemption still just be Angel Dust?

And one more question, does our silly awkward transmasc anglerfish king Baxter come into this story at all?

Ah! I'm really happy to hear that since I've been using this as an exercise in writing and character-building. Plus It's genuinely the only way I'm able to enjoy HH as I'm fixing so many big issues that I have about it wasting the potential of some genuinely amazing and creative concepts. (AngelDust, Charlie and Nifty come into mind)

Also, I'm really glad you asked (since looking at my schedule, it might take me a while to finish everyone's rewrites and redesigns) So here's the answer to your question (and a sprinkle of trivia about Deadbeat Motel):

Charlie, Redemption and the Sinners:

Charlie and Valerie will be focusing on redeeming Every sinner of the motel, including Alastor (who in this rewrite, is not a patron of the hotel but a powerful overlord who was roped into this project because of Lilith's meddling).

The sinners and Valerie all have varying degrees of faith in this project (A little spoiler-y but who cares, I'm not making an Amazon show.): > Valerie is in this project because she too wants to know if there is a chance for a sinner (maybe even her) can find some way to become good enough to be accepted in heaven. Despite having been taught to know that the answer is "no.", Charlie has taught her to believe in what others think is impossible. > Angel Dust is honestly only here because it's the first place that feels safe for him. He doesn't believe it's possible to redeem him but he's happy enough to have a place that Val can't find some way to ruin. > Despite his pessimistic outlook, there's a part of him that would want redemption to be possible. His son died fairly young and was in heaven, so far out of his reach. If redemption is possible, then maybe he can see him again. > Nifty is indifferent, to her, it was all grown-up talk she wasn't interested in. Redemption? Blegh, if it was a boy, it would most certainly be one she would stray away from. > Cherri Bomb doesn't care about redemption and frankly thinks it's impossible, she's just here because no other Women Group wants her and this is the only one that wants to accept her that has only 3 men. Even if it's possible, she doubts that the people she hurt want to forgive her. > Crymini doesn't even fully understand why she's here and hates hell. She's just in this project because she thinks she deserves to be up there in heaven. She doesn't believe she needs to do any kind of redeeming. > Alastor has absolutely no faith in the project and that he can be redeemed, he thinks it a waste of time as he knows that even certain people belong in hell (Overlords like himself for example. Humans who earned that spot in hell for their Heinous sins while they were alive.) He's only here because he struck a deal with Lilith to look after Charlie. > Pentious...... I'm still working on her

If I had to rank them from Most redeemable to irredeemable, It'd be: Crymini -> Husk -> Pentious -> Nifty -> Angel Dust -> CherriBomb -> Alastor

Oh! and to be true to the name, they are actually running a small motel instead of the grand hotel we see in the show proper. It makes it feel a lot more tight-knit.

Baxter:

To be real honest with you, I have no idea how to write Baxter into this since There's not much I know of the guy and I try to not have duplicates in this rewrite. The mad scientist role already belongs to Pentious. I might make him Pentious' partner in crime, and possibly make Cherri Bomb feel somewhat threatened that some person may have her snake's heart before she does.

Also, Baxter is the one character I might not want to redesign because miraculously, this is the first Vivziepop design that I have absolutely no problems with. I don't even mind the little bowler hat. It's absolutely adorable!
