Despite never having finished Octopath Traveler after getting more than halfway through it, I started Octopath Traveler II last night. Little did I know that I'd be stepping into an episode of fantasy Father Brown on steroids

#full disclosure I've only seen one episode of the BBC series so I don't know how well that comparison actually holds up outside of the basic #premise. but anyway Temenos is a RIOT #I do wonder how the story will handle his stance on faith but I'm optimistic. he is SO funny though PLEASE #osvald is also really cool (I love that his introductory level is a jailbreak!) however I do not understand the reasoning for Harvey #killing his wife and daughter?? he was jealous of his abilities so he wanted him out of the running so he could find the 'one true magic' #first? idk it seems like killing the guy would be easier?? ALSO that was one of the worst fictional trials i've ever seen?? where was the #defense attorney (you have a prosecutor)? why is the accused not allowed to give a testimony?? and he gets a guilty verdict simply because #he's able to start fires with magic?? are there no other magic users in this town??? we KNOW that isn't true because of Harvey! who visits #their house all the time!! it just gets worse the more I think about it lol #octopath traveler 2
