Honda S600 SM convertible
The Honda S600 is a remnant from Honda's fledgling days of building cars. They launched production of their first automobile, the T360 kei truck, in 1963. Their second car, the ambitious S500 sports car, was put into production shortly after, sowing the seeds for its successor, the S600, which featured an engine enlarged from 531cc to 606cc. The S600 was built between 1964 and 1966, with a total of 13,084 S600s built in both roadster and fastback coupe body styles. In 1964, a year after its launch, the company immediately set about updating it and the result was the S600. Their new car took the predecessor’s high performance and helped Honda’s name become more well known in the 4-wheeled world. The biggest change was to the engine, engine displacement was increased to 606cc to overcome the previous generation's lack of torque at low revs. The result was 57hp at an astonishing 94hp per litre. It reached a top speed of 145kph, a number comparable to that of a sports car with twice the displacement. It’s beautifully styled body is of course one of the factors that make it a classic. The long bonnet gave it a typical sports car look and it only weighed 695 kg which meant that it was both attractive to look at and fun to drive. Honda was already known for their success in motorcycle racing and they entered the world of car racing with the S600. In May of 1964, at the second Japanese Grand Prix, held at the Suzuka circuit, it suddenly became a force to be reckoned with. The top positions in the 1,300cc class were completely dominated by the S600s. All 11 cars that competed finished the race and took the circuit by storm. The success was not just domestic. That same year, the team took part in the Nürburgring 500km race and won its class. This was the first time a Japanese sports car had won a race in Europe, the home of motorsport. The S600 had all the elements to win the hearts of young car lovers: design, driving enjoyment and performance.Honda's experience with small, rev-happy engines gained from their motorcycle production aided them in building the power plants for these early sports cars, which Honda later paid tribute to with their S2000.

➳ Need a lift, Princess?
She smiled and accepted your request! What could be safer than getting driven home?
The two of you walked outside, and Chaewon asked which ride was yours, only for you to point to a T360 mini pick-up truck. This was one of the very first cars the company Honda had come out with!
In 1963.
No one knows how your car is still working, but it does technically still run. The two of you get in, and you start the engine. Hear that puppy roar! You start driving on the highway and try to make it to Chaewon’s house.
If only you remembered to put it into the GPS.
Half-way through your ride, it was clear that you were lost. Not only that, but your car broke down. 60 years, and now is when your car decides to give up fighting? The two of you get out of the car and attempt to find the nearest gas station.
You never did. You kept walking until you both eventually gave up. There was no sign of life anywhere around you.
You died of starvation. AND you didn’t get your girl.

Honda Acty 1998. A natural evolution of the Honda T360 mini truck, the Honda Acty first appeared in 1977 as a cabover kei class mini truck. Throughout the generations, the Acty truck and van has had many different specs and special editions, including a 6 wheeled Crawler edition! The Honda Acty has become a favorite for tuners, farmers, and everyday users alike. In some circles, it s even called the NSX of the farm due to its shared midship engine placement. In 1990 the Honda Acty Truck, Acty Van, and Acty Street were upgraded again to receive the larger and more powerful E07A 656cc 3-Cylinder engine. This update coincided with most other manufacturers increasing the displacement of their kei-class engines due to a change in regulations by the Japanese government. 2WD models came with the option of a 4-speed or 5-speed manual transmission, while 4 4 models received a standard 5-speed manual. The Acty Attack and Acty Crawler received a 4-speed manual with Ultra Low forward and reverse gears. A 3-speed automatic was available only for the 2WD models. The front fascia for the Acty Truck and Acty Van was also upgraded to match the trapezoidal face of the existing Acty Street van. Halogen headlights were also added as an option. In 1990 there were 20 different variations of trim levels available across the Acty range.Throughout the 90 s more trims levels were introduced including some special models. *Product Name: Honda Acty 1998*By: SamGrey Coming soon: https://3d-stuff.net/ #daz3d #dazstudio #3drender #3dart #daz3dstudio #irayrender #3dartwork #blender #blenderrender #blenderart #noaiart #noaiwriting #noai https://3d-stuff.net/

"Live young, live fast, live sport!”
1970 Honda S800
The Honda S800 represents the final evolution of one of the first four-wheeled Hondas to hit the road. In 1962, Soichiro Honda presented the T360 and S360 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The T360 was a pick-up truck and the S360 a two-seater spider. These vehicles were powered by 356cc Honda motorcycle engines and had chain drive. Engine displacement evolved to the 791cc motor with a standard live axle rear end. The S800’s screaming-high redline was a direct descendent of the Honda car’s motorcycle roots so, if you have ever reveled in the high-revving noise of the modern day S2000, you’ve got the S800 to thank for it.
Model with HQ interior, open/close doors, trunk and functional light.

Honda Collection Hall: the history of Honda
2017-10-23 11:45 We visit the Honda Collection Hall in Japan, which houses over 300 restored and original models If it has an engine chances are that Honda makes one, and the best place to see all of the Japanese brand’s most iconic models under one roof is the Honda Collection Hall.  Located within the grounds of the Twin Ring Motegi racetrack in Japan, the Collection Hall is split over three floors and crammed full of Honda’s greatest hits. In total it holds around 300 restored and original models, including everything from the brand’s early motorbikes, to iconic racers and early series K cars. It was built in 1998, 50 years after Honda Motor Company was formally established. If you aren’t able to make the 6,500 mile trip from the UK to Motegi we’ve round up the highlights which decorate Honda’s history.  1946 Honda Auxiliary engine Image 2 of 17 Image 2 of 17 Honda initially started out as a motorbike manufacturer. Its first steps into the two-wheeled world involved putting small auxiliary engines on bicycles, which were the main mode of transportation in Japan after the war. The bike used a 50cc engine, which was initially used to power radio generators.  1949 Honda Dream Type D Image 3 of 17 Image 3 of 17 The Dream Type D was Honda’s first real motorbike. It was based on a steel channel frame, which was easy to mass-produce.  1963 Honda T360  Image 4 of 17 Image 4 of 17 Honda’s first four-wheeled production vehicle was a small pick-up; it was powered by a mid-mounted 354cc four-cylinder engine that developed 30bhp. 1963 Honda S500 Image 5 of 17 Image 5 of 17 Two months after Honda's first production vehicle its second had arrived; the S500 used a larger and more powerful 531cc engine, which produced 44bhp. It was also the first car in Japan to available in red. The colour was previously exclusive to commercial vehicles but the ruling was changed after discussions with the Japanese government. 1964 Honda RA271 Image 6 of 17 Image 6 of 17 Honda had only being building cars for 12 months but had decided to make the enormous jump into F1. The RA271 was Honda’s first F1 car and was powered by a 227bhp 1.5-litre V12 engine  1967 Honda RA300  Image 7 of 17 Image 7 of 17 John Surtees raced the RA300 to a debut victory at the 1967 Italian GP. A change in regulations meant the V12 engine had increased to 3.0 litres, while power had swelled to 416bhp. 1967 Honda N360  Image 8 of 17 Image 8 of 17 The N360 was the beginning of Honda’s front-wheel drive passenger car range. It was the best selling K car in Japan for three consecutive years, with its 31bhp 354cc engine being more than its rivals.  1969 Honda CB750 Image 9 of 17 Image 9 of 17 The Honda CB750, the first bike to use an in-line four cylinder engine, was so successful Honda used the profits to fund production of a new facility in Ohio, USA.  1973 Honda Civic CVCC Image 10 of 17 Image 10 of 17 The first generation Civic landed in 1972, while this particular model is named on account of its new CVCC engine. It was the first car to pass stringent new emissions tests by America’s EPA regulators.  1976 Honda Accord  Image 11 of 17 Image 11 of 17 The Accord landed in 1976 and offered buyers the space and comfort the Civic lacked. It was also the first Honda to feature power steering and air conditioning. 1983 Honda Civic Mk3 Image 12 of 17 Image 12 of 17 Recognizable for its elongated roof the third-generation Civic was a big step on for Honda; the unique body brought huge gains in interior space. The three-door model was also joined by a four-door hatch and five-door estate.  1991 Honda Beat Image 13 of 17 Image 13 of 17 The Beat was the first performance-based K car. It featured a mid-mounted 64bhp 656cc engine, with power sent to the rear wheels. It revved to 8,100rpm. 1994 Honda NSX Type R Image 14 of 17 Image 14 of 17 Arguably the most famous car to wear the Type R badge, the NSX Type R was all about weight reduction and superior performance. Around 120kg of weight was removed over a standard NSX bringing the total weight down to 1,230kg. It was powered by a 277bhp 3.0-litre V6 engine.  1995 Honda Integra Type R Image 15 of 17 Image 15 of 17 The next Type R was the front-wheel drive Integra, which followed the same recipe - less weight and more power. It tipped than scales at just over 1,000kg and developed 197bhp from its 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine.  1997 Honda Civic Type R Image 16 of 17 Image 16 of 17 Honda has raced through five generations of Civic Type R in a little over 20 years. The EK9 was powered by a 1.6-litre engine, which sent its power to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. 1999 Honda Insight Image 17 of 17 Image 17 of 17 In 1999 the Insight’s 82.5mpg fuel economy claim was the best in the world thanks to it hybrid powertrain – a first for Honda. The 68bhp three-cylinder motor was assisted by a 13bhp electric motor.  Which is your favourite Honda from the past? Let us know below... Associated Advanced Gallery  Honda Collection Hall - pictures

One of the reasons I wanted to go to Nagoya :3
We visited the Toyota Automobile Museum :) My favourite cars were all in one place :3
Honda S500, Toyota Sport800, Toyota 2000GT and Mazda Cosmo :3 There are other cats I like too like the BMW 2002, BMW 3.0 CSL, Citroen Traction Avant, Citroen DS, Lotus Elan, Renault Alpine and Honda T360 :)
I liked this museum a lot and I was surprised that my friend liked it too :D I was very happy seeing those cars and seeing Japanese transport vehicles up close :)
I like the clever solutions they came up with and the attention to detail the engineers put into making those cars work :3
Cars in Japan are very polite and positive too :D My friends car cheered her for driving well when we came back home :3
I like the Honda S line (S360 (prototype :) S500, S600 and S800 :) for their drivetrain. The motor is beautiful and from an engineering standpoint it is quite a work of art :) They have a lot of power for their tiny size (S500: 84 hp per litre, S600: 94 hp per litre, S800: 88 hp per litre :) which is a lot considering the time these were made and that these were affordable production cars you could buy :)
The Toyota Sports 800 has a 2 cylinder boxer engine which puts out 47 hp which makes it kind of similar to a BMW R80 engine (^-^;) But the beauty is in the package which is an aluminium body without a frame underneath it making for a very light car :) It is also one of the first every production Targa cars :)
I was also happy to see a display of my childhood hero Tintin and Milou at the museum :3
I wish I could tinker on an old vehicle :3 Sadly I can't take my motorbike to Hamburg unless I can find a garage :,( I can't just park it at the side of the road because people in Germany would break it just for fun (;_;) I think most people just think “oh, it’s nice he must be rich, so it wouldn’t hurt him if we’d break it.” but neither am I rich nor can I say that it wouldn’t hurt me because I’ve spent 5 years fixing it and have memories from my childhood riding on it or sitting on the gas tank. So to me (and all motorcyclists I know) these people are excessively cruel and mean but when confronted with it they just mumble insults (-_-) I would really like to tinker with the electrical system to make it more efficient and reliable :) I have some ideas for a few details that would make parts of it last longer :)
Sorry for this rant (^-^;)
I’m sorry for dedicating an entire article to cars but I’m an engineer with all my heart so sometimes I can't avoid geeking out a bit (^-^;) In fact I only wrote a tiny amount of what I could have said about the cars in the photos (^-^;)
I started working for a new company and so far I’m really happy :) The job is interesting and challenging and the coworkers are great :)
I wish everyone a great time with sweet dreams and a nice job (^-^)/
