okay so i'm not trying to make this a ~thing~ or a hot take or whatever, but can we talk about how all the hyped up queer shows still predominantly feature mlm couples? i'm not saying there aren't wlw shows/movies or the mlm-focused shows don't also feature wlw characters/couples, just... they either get nowhere near the same amount of hype, have some other main plot, end with at least one of them dying or experiencing something traumatic, get cancelled after one season in the middle of their arc, or they're not the main couple. And that's not to discount the representation you can get from secondary characters of course but just... ugh I want a heartstopper or rwrb or young royals or skam or love, simon or i don't even know... with girls. And I know I'm not the first person to bring this up and I know it's not that simple, but seeing all the hype for heartstopper and rwrb this week makes my heart ache a little bit so i needed to say this somewhere.

backtracking to 2 weeks ago in Titans #6 for a sec when Dick expressed how he wanted to look for Damian - it was nice to get a nod of Dick being concerned, but i was a bit bummed he didn't start a search. and i get it, the world needs saving, Dick's gotta do what he has to!!

different writer/story, but this line popped into my head the moment Babs said Earth needs the Titans

Damian means the world to Dick!! the Titans can take care of the literal world without him for a bit!!

but ykw it's fine since this issue proved me wrong, and Dick looks for Damian anyway!! 😭 basically "the world's still in danger but my brother needs me right now" this was just the start of the issue and i fell to my knees THEY BOTH REALLY DROPPED EVERYTHING FOR DAMIAN

the part where they plan to wait out Damian's match was so funny to me because Dick keeps repeating to Jon that they shouldn't engage, but then Dick just goes "NEVERMIND i'm going in" 😭 he couldn't stand watching Damian be hurt anymore i'm weeping

with context this is actually so sad for Damian orz otherwise i just wanted to say i love these drawings!! it's just a really cool page to me - i love the posing, especially in the hands/claws!! the intense expressions!! also so efficient in showing how the match escalates with Damian quickly overpowering Gail (along with seeing Jon's dread 🙁)

I'm SUPER late to the Halloween party with this piece, but truth be told the last months of October-December 2023 were busy as hell! So I initially planned to post this piece on New Years Day, but unfortunately, tragedy happened within my family, which at that point posting was the least of my worries :0(

Things are slowly clearing, so now I have the emotional/mental energy back to share this piece I worked hard on! My DRV3 fanfic Amalgamate is gonna be at Momocon in Atlanta, GA, May 24-27. I'll be traveling there for the first time ever to attend the show (in all my glittery DR cosplays ofc!), and Melody Snowflake, FireArt, and IvanDubs are going too! Melody and Fire create the Amalgamate Audio Series! Melody, who's flying in from Singapore, is also the series' Himiko VA, and Fire, who's flying in from Germany, is the narrator. And Ivan's our incredible Kokichi VA! So, a few things!

1. Are you or any Amalgamate fans you know attending Momocon? Please let me know cuz I'll try organizing a meetup, but only if enough people are available/interested.

2. We're hoping to do Amalgamate livestreaming at the show! More on that soon!

3. I'm writing an AMALGAMATE ONE-SHOT from Shuichi's POV! It's hard for me to reach out to readers outside AO3, but updating the fic just to tell people about Momocon seems cruel, so in the next couple weeks, I'll "update" Amalgamate with all the announcements + a link to the one-shot (it'll be good, I promise!).
