For Azz, Iruma asking for his help was not just about him asking, but about Iruma putting his trust in Azz to help find a solution, believing he is the right one for this situation. I think that means more than asking for Azz to be his guard.

Azz sincerely wanted to help him, to meet his expectations. Maybe a little too desperately, and I can't no help but think that this is hidden some unresolved feelings of guilt and fear for want happened in the heartbreaker, but we'll see about that.

Azz also got high expectations for Iruma, he is absolutely sure of his potential, and wants to do anything to help him. His convictions have been always the same, Iruma will be demon king. He's not imagining things or saying it in some comically exaggerated tome, he is serious, determined and says it out loud in front of his mother, one of the judges who will choose the next monarch.

And Azz is accepting that he needs help with this, either because he knows that Opera won't accept only him or because he himself is aware of his limitations in protecting Iruma from those similar to Atori, he is not stubborn about it. Even if he's embarrassed and doesn't like it, he's being smarter. Perhaps in the past he would have insisted, childish and impulsive, that there was no better demon than him to protect Iruma, but now he sought the best solution according to a situation that was too much for him.

What I like most about this scene is not only that Azz and Amelie are super attentive to Iruma, but that when he asks for space they give it to him without further questions.

They don't know what happened. Amu wanted to slap Fenrir, what does that have to do with Iruma? But they see that he is struggling and is anxious, so they try to help him in any way they can. Small but honest gestures of caring, trying to make up for what they don't know, like covering the basics to help someone going through a hard time.

Then, indirectly, he says he needs a moment. Azz and Amelie don't ask him or pressure him to talk, they leave but letting him know they are there for him if he needs them.

It's important to support your love ones, but is essential to know when to leave them alone and not push them when they need a moment for themselves.

Claras's toy box scene gets another layer when you remember that Iruma had a horrible childhood. And for a moment he was able to enjoy the benefits of being a normal child, playing and running free, but also receiving unconditional love and affection. Feeling safe and protected are things he didn't get from his parents.

Clara, who is an expert in making people have fun and feel happy, is a blessing for him. She always takes care of him and Azz too, as she learned by taking care of her little siblings and by the love her mother shows her and them. That's the kind of love she knows, the love she grew up with and the love she passes on.

I love how she is so serious at the beginning, explaining that it would be an important deviculum and that she is interested in going.

And then we can see the exact moment when she holds her breath and jumps in. Explaining the concept of escorting and asking Iruma to be hers.

She seems relieve after saying it, and goes like "well, that's it see ya!" But she stops, smiles and gives the final blow with that "I'm amazing when I'm serious" What a move! Seriously!

And at the end she is so happy! I'm so proud of my girl!
