Are the writers going to do us like that??
Jin I Soo and Lee Ganghyun go from bickering like kids to comforting each other at their lowest. Ganghyun goes from telling him to go home to texting him to come to the station because they got a new case. Ganghyun takes Jin I Soo to her comfort place so that he can clear his mind after learning the truth about his mother's death. I Soo saying "You trust your father, and I trust you" to Lee Ganghyun when she was on probation and desperately wanted to prove that her father was innocent and that he was framed. Ganghyun scolding him because he put himself in danger and I soo trying not to repeat that. And most importantly what about the fact when they almost drowned together while trying to arrest Bori?? What are you gon say about Jin I soo cupping her face and telling her to believe in herself when she told him that she couldn't swim ??? Carrying her over the water the entire time she was unconscious while he was struggling to breathe and stay over the water himself. Are the writers really going to do us like that?? T_T
Tumblr media
"LEE GANGHYUN WAKE UP"
P.S : Jin I Soo being jealous over Park Junyoung and Lee Ganghyun and then asking Junyoung if they shared any feelings or ever dated and then getting flustered on being asked if he liked Ganghyun was the cutest thing everrr.

FLEX X COP
GENRES: Comedy, Action, Police Procedural
SUMMARY: Sometimes a gorgeous chaebol asshole is really just a deeply-struggling softie looking for something real to believe in.
THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Snowglobes, memory wipes, childhood trauma, salty jjigae, midnight ramen, true friendships, found families, exquisite eyewear, gaming chairs, iced americanos, filthy cars, murder, and upperclass privilege.
HOT TAKE: This show is one hell of an onion. It's got some seriously trope-y chaebol comedy wrapped around a core of emotional childhood trauma, trust issues, mistakes, and reluctant friendships. It will make you cry, it will make you laugh, and it will make you pump your fist in the air after the satisfying action scenes.
Although we really get to the core of Ahn Bo Hyun's character in a satisfying way, I feel that all the time spent on him sacrificed really getting to know the other cast members more. Here's hoping that we see much more of all of them in Season 2!

Squid Game Headcannons: The players’ love languages
warnings: none other than one swear word lol
gifs are not mine
——
Seong Gi-hun
Tumblr media
Gi hun’s top two love languages are physical touch and gift giving.
He doesn’t have much money, but even still he absolutely loves to spoil his significant other any time he gets the chance to. He secretly enjoys receiving gifts as well, but sometimes he feels bad taking from others. Especially if it’s money.
When in a relationship with Gi Hun physical affection is a MUST. This man will always be holding his partner’s hands or wrapping his arm around their waist, anything to feel close. He’s super cuddly, especially if he or his partner has had a bad day.
Cho Sang-Woo
Tumblr media
Sangwoo’s biggest love languages are gift giving and acts of service, as well as physical touch in private.
Sangwoo is pretty reserved, which can make it hard for him to be vulnerable with people, which is really what makes physical touch one of his love languages. Cuddling and hand holding with him is essentially a show of trust for him, showing that he feels comfortable enough to show his soft side around his partner.
He’s much less shy about acts of service and gifts, though. His partner can always expect him to open doors, make meals, and do chores for them. As well, it’s a very common occurrence for him to come home with gifts or flowers (probably bought with company money).
Kang Sae-byeok
Tumblr media
Sae Byeok definitely likes physical affection in private, but her main love language is quality time.
Like Sangwoo, Sae Byeok is reserved with her emotions, so physical touch is mostly reserved for in private. She adores cuddling, especially if she gets to be the big spoon. She’ll never admit how much she loves it, but it’s clear from how every morning she holds on tighter as her partner tries to get up from bed, mumbling about how she wants ‘five more minutes.’ She’ll hold hands in public if her partner wants to, or if she wants to show that they’re hers.
She absolutely loves spending time with her significant other. Watching TV together, playing videogames, doing activities, anything. As long ad she’s spending time with them, it doesn’t matter.
Ali Abdul
Tumblr media
Ali’s main love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation.
Ali is super cuddly. He’s like the overly clingy couples you see in lines for rides at the amusement park, just constantly hugging on his partner or playing with their hands or hair. He knows when to stop though, and if his partner isn’t a fan of PDA, then he’ll respect it. That just means all the more cuddling in private.
Words of affirmation is less of him saying it to his partner and more of them saying it to him. Being told how much he means to them or how handsome he is makes his heart absolutely soar. It makes him feel so loved and appreciated.
Ji-yeong
Tumblr media
Ji-yeong mainly enjoys quality time and receiving gifts.
She knows how short life can be, so to her it’s extremely important to spend as much time as possible with her significant other. As well, she just likes to hang out with them, feeling most connected when spending time together.
She also enjoys receiving gifts, but it isn’t required for her to be happy in the relationship. Little gifts here and there really show her that she is appreciated. Even if she doesn’t always think she’s that important, the fact that her partner thought about her enough to get her a gift quickly proves her wrong.
Hwang Jun-ho
Tumblr media
Jun ho’s top love languages are physical touch and quality time.
As an officer, Jun ho also knows the dangers of the world and how important it is to spend time with those you love, hence the reason why quality time is so important to him. He really likes going on dates, drives, and even shopping trips, but he also appreciates staying in and having a lazy day with his partner.
Jun ho also is pretty touchy. Hand holding, hugging, cuddling, all of it. He really likes his hair being played with during cuddles, the feeling often putting him to sleep within minutes. He enjoys appropriate PDA, which triples when he’s jealous. If someone is hitting on his partner, expect him to swoop in with that PDA to put an end to it.
Jang Deok-su
Tumblr media
Deok su is very emotionally closed off, used to any weakness being exploited with the amount of enemies he has. He generally shows love through acts of service, and on occasion gift giving.
He won’t make a big show of it, no. He might not show it, but he listens to his partner very well, remembering what tasks need to be done around the house or what has been stressing them out so he can do it while they’re gone to surprise them. If it’s brought up to him, he simply says he wanted to help out or noticed that his partner was stressed about it so he decided to do it instead.
On occasion he will also come home with gifts. It could be some small trinket that reminded him of his partner, or even something expensive, but he will always act like it isn’t a big deal.
“Here. I saw it at the market and thought you might like it.”
“Deok su, how much did this cost?!”
“It doesn’t matter. Do you like it?”
Han Mi-nyeo
Tumblr media
Mi nyeo is definitely a fan of physical touch. She also enjoys receiving gifts and words of affirmation.
She can be pretty touchy, holding her partners arm in public and hugging on them in private. While she can be independent if she wants to be, she tends to be pretty clingy.
Receiving gifts and compliments are the big two ways to make her feel loved. It makes her feel special and reassured her that her partner thinks about her and truly does love her.

keeping my love for doil injoo ship aside, the episode was underwhelming tbh. jaesang’s death was so not very satisfying & i expected a better ending for him. they kept on building up the suspense in the first half but the end result wasn’t mind-blowing. too many plotholes… like how tf did inkyung not know how hwayoung looked like because her suicide was all over the news. how could she forget about one of the key person of that savings bank suicide case? it was smart of her to manipulate that teacher into exposing sangah on national tv but how easily a CIA trained war criminal agreed to that *rolling eyes*. the plot twist isn’t twisting tbh. they better have a hella good explanation for hwayoung faking her death because i hate when kdramas bring the dead back. even if they do, it doesn’t absolve hwayoung using injoo to extract her revenge. the girl literally died, was abused & thrown into jail & almost lost her sisters in the process. & she decides to show up ONLY when injoo goes on trial? i am side-eyeing doil too (if he was involved in this since beginning) but at least he was with injoo at every step & made sure she’s fine in every possible way he could. atp i care only about doil injoo & the sisters’ happy ending tbh.

That next Saturday, Cece and Hanh had their wedding at La Coppia Serena. Piper and the Kangs arrived at the venue early and Cam’s jaw dropped as she saw Piper in her green shalwaaar kameez, hair in a braid, jewelry, and bangles. "Pipes, you look-you're-wow." She stammered and Piper smiled. Just to fluster Cam even more she batted her eyes and swung her braid over her shoulder. "Yeah?" She said. "You look stunning." Cam said, and she pulled Piper into a kiss. The two of them pulled away and Piper smiled at Cam. "You look amazing too, Cammy." She said. "Pipes, will you marry me right now? We have the venue, cake, officiant, I can ask Cece if she'd mind doing a double wedding." Cam joked, and her mom gave her a jokingly stern look. "When we're in our twenties Cammy, not now." Piper said, smiling, and she turned to greet Cam's grandparents (her mom's parents) who had flown in from Mt. Komorebi. Piper spoke some Korean she'd learned from Cam and her auntie Tess with them as Cam slung an arm around her waist.
Meanwhile, Iseul hugged her niece-in-law Hanh. "You and Cece both look so pretty." She said. "Thanks auntie Is." Hanh said. "I'm so nervous but excited, I can't believe I'm finally getting married to her." Iseul nodded. "I get it." She said. "You should've seen Cece's dad when he married her mom. I was his best woman and he was so happy and nervous that he kept sweating and blushing and it was sweet. Plus I tease him about it to this day." Hanh laughed. "That'll probably be me." She said, but smiled.
Hanh's moms Eva and Toni Trang were at the lot, and so was Grace, also wearing a shalwaar kameez in black and gold with matching bangles, nose ring, jhumkay (earrings) and shoes. Iseul had a similar reaction to Grace that Cam had to Piper. She melted over how good Grace looked and pulled her into a kiss. "Is that what you'll wear for our future wedding, Gracie?" Iseul murmured in Grace’s ear. "Don't be ridiculous, Issy. I'll be much more fancy. I'm talking full lehenga, bangles, jewlery, nath ring, mehndi, and so on." Grace said, blushing a bit as Iseul grinned. "Well I can't wait for that day." She said. "Me neither." Grace said softly and Iseul pulled her in for another kiss.

Alchemy of Souls (Part 1 & 2)
Tumblr media
This is definite another favorite of mine; right next to Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Alchemy of Souls & Alchemy of Soul: Light and Shadow tell the story a young group of mage who have to fight against the greed of soul shifters and the sorcerous that conjure the spell. The story has a perfect balance of humor, action, romance, and suspense in a beautifully threaded plot.
The story begins with Naksu, a powerful female assassin, who wants to avenge the murder of her father as she follows her master's orders. And Jang Ok trying to unlock the power within him in his quest to becoming the mage everyone is trying to prevent him to become because of the truth of his birth. These two meet when Jang Ok has left his last master and she has shifted to the body of a blind girl in order to escape death. But she is no longer the powerful mage she had been, now that she is trapped in this body and in order to regain her power, she accepts becoming Jang Ok's master disguised as servant.
These two lives are entwined in a tangle of intrigue, misunderstanding and friendships that are strengthened and forged as Naksu as Mu Deok and Jang Ok walk the challenging terrain to make Jang Ok reach the highest level of a mage.
I fell in love with the characters, their personalities, their struggles and feelings. The end of the first part broke my heart.
The second part starts 3 years after Mu Deok's death and Jang Ok's returning from the afterlife with the ice stone. Jang Ok who is surrounded by shadows, and the pain of losing the love of his life, has become the most powerful mage and carries the responsibility of destroying soul shifters. Meanwhile, the two souls that had co-existed in Mu Deok's body are now enclosed in Naksu's body. But this time, both souls have lost their memories and powers and are imprisoned in the Jinyowon household. It is through Jin Bu Yeon's interaction with Jang Ok and the others that she slowly regains her powers and memories. In this last part, the youth come together to defeat the greed and selfishness of the king, queen, and everyone who sought to gain power through the alchemy of souls and the ice stone.
This series was definitely worth the wait! I recommend it to everyone. I will be thinking about this story for a long time. I know I will be watching this one multiple times.

Finally it was time for the ceremony to begin. The guests sat down (except for Piper and Cam who decided to stand up to kiss but anyway 🥴), and Hanh was walked down the aisle by her mom Toni, who was sappy but held it together as she walked with her daughter. Then Cece was escorted by her auntie Iseul. “Don’t cry auntie Is, cause then I’ll cry too and smudge my makeup.” Cece said to Iseul out of the corner of her mouth because Iseul’s eyes were bright and she kept blinking. “I’m trying not to, Cee. Seeing you grow up through the years and now walking you down the aisle is emotional as heck in a good way.” Cece blinked too. “I know, and I’m glad you’re here.” She said, and Iseul smiled and squeezed Cece’s arm* as they reached the wedding arch and Cece smiled back at her auntie before she headed to her seat.
The game wouldn't let Cece's dad be the officiant so I just had them exchange vows and rings and do the spousal kiss. Cece's dad, auntie, and grandma were super emotional and happy in the photo I took and it's sweet. 😊 “I can’t believe it, my nooboo is married.” Min Jun said to his mother in law, Sang-Hee. She smiled back at him. “I felt the same way when my Paenji married you. Of course I was saddened to have her leave me and her appa but I was happy she was with someone who loved and respected her.” She said, and Min Jun smiled.
