Meet Kassava! I haven't talked too much about Ellix City so *cracks knuckles* Ellix City and Irsena are polar opposites despite their similar beginnings. Irsena is an underwater city off the coast of Vandelay Island, while Ellix City is a metropolis in the sky. A floating city! All thanks to a refined substance: Ellixium. Although it was originally created as an efficient energy source to solve the global energy crisis, those original researchers found other uses, like creating more housing in the sky. Kardell Labs, where ellixium is produced, relocated to Ellix City once the floating island was constructed. Kassava is the assistant to the lead researcher at Kardell Labs: the second in command. She's diligent, a little crazy (but so is everyone who works there), and very enthusiastic about her job. Even if it kills her. Which it's totally not doing :D

💋 Kassava getting accidentanlly kissed by spencer 👀

It was lucky that Spencer was finally learn how to fly since it seemed like a necessary skill around here. Kassava agreed to oversee his practice since she's had to master her own ki control and could explain it in detail.

Spencer had taken off his shirt and was in workout shorts to allow his cells to grow accustomed to the energy flow - having to focus entirely on how his cells move and how ki interacts with them.

Breath in...breath out...breath in...

A half second to peek his eye open. That's all it took to screw up. He managed to get a few feet off the ground but his focus was broken and he plummeted towards Kassava.

"SHIT!" Within that second he had crashed into Kassava, trying to use his powers to hopefully catch himself but the timing is all off.

Surprisingly his landing was softer than expected, and he realized his lips somehow met with hers. Despite his smoking, it was apparent that he's been taking great care to air himself out and taking mints before meeting with people.

Redness quickly spread to his cheeks and he shot up from the compromising position, hands on either side of Kassie's head. He'd be worried he hurt her, but he's pretty sure she can blow up planets - so him landing on her wouldn't hurt her. Still...he didn't expect to kiss her.

"S-Sorry Kassie...you okay?"

Azrael is my Beastars Original Character who just so happens to be a saiyan. He was born as Prince Kassava, Vegeta’s younger cousin. Even though his inherent power level was at an impressive over 500, he was still lacking compared to Prince Vegeta.

When he landed on earth he was named Azrael due to his destructive tendencies. He is the eldest child of his adopted family, with 6 younger siblings.

i have a few ocs but rhen is my baby so ill share him.

rhen and avoca (his brother) were born off planet vegeta, but due to Kassava and Sadara not having enough fluid for their incubation chamber for their youngest child, Sabi, they had to return to planet vegeta.

rhen and avoca were left to their own terms on the planet, unaware that their parents and little sister would never return - unfortunately and coincidentally - frieza had sent the request for all saiyans to return to planet vegeta during then. kassava didnt have a good feeling about it thus leaving rhen and avoca behind instead of returning, getting them, and coming back.

despite all that, eventually after planet seeking they landed upon earth, asking an elder ice-jin to help out with their travels. the ice-jin's name was citrone qi-wi, citrone was sure to take care of the teenagers while kassava and his wife were gone.

when rhen and avoca came to earth they lived as village boys out in a more primitive area. they learned to build, be strong, basic skills. they were told to hide their tails by the priest there although, so they did but once older they didnt worry so much about it since they found out humans didnt know what or who saiyans were.

First Day of Fall!

My Gr8t Uncle cant slide to the states for his usual trips due to Rona & his age. He would bless the fam with split-pea soup, pea soup & dumpling, okra soup, conch chowder. Snap just hit me with the 3yr ago memories & muddo I miss getting this soup. Sept. 22 suppose to be the beginning of fall too. Perfect Food for the season. Definitely shall try my attempt at this soon...

Different cultures have different varieties but I feel like its most of the same ingredients or process. I wonder where the differences are... How they prep the veggies? The base of the soup? Seasoning? Type of broth??

Sleeping Meme

Kassava

Type of Bed: California King sized bed. Being 7’2” means she doesn’t have much room for Bed size besides the largest one available. She really doesn’t like hanging her feet off the table.

Number of Blankets: She likes to be comfortable, so a comforter, a thick blanket and then a gravity blanket.

Number of pillows: four, two for her head and two to cling onto while shes asleep.

Type of clothing: Just a t-shirt and shorts/pajama pants. She’s a very simple girl.

Does it matter where they sleep?: Absolutely, the only place where she can relax enough to sleep is at home. Otherwise she will just stay awake, to the detriment to her own health.

Why do they do if they can’t fall asleep?: Go run five miles without using Ki to enhance herself, if that doesn’t work she eats a warm Saiyan meal and attempts to meditate.(I.E. she just says that but its really sleeping sitting up.)

Frequent Dream and/or Nightmares: She constantly has nightmares about a certain training accident involving her uncle. A lot of Blood on her hands, his lifeless eyes as they stare up at the sky, his cold grip. Everytime she has it she wakes up in a cold sweat.

Deep Slumber or Naps?: Deep Slumber, cause she can only sleep at home.

When do they sleep?: She tries to sleep before 11 pm, but on the nights she can’t its probably around 2-3 am.

What could wake them up?: She’s not a deep sleeper, or a light sleeper. So loud sounds usually wake her up, but like soft whispers will not.

“We can’t let her get away with this.” Raditz muttered.

Vegeta peered over at the bulky Saiyan, “What are you going to do about it then?”

“Go after the Dragon Balls and kill Kassava.”

“Yeah? Well, we’ve tried that and look where that’s gotten us.” Vegeta hissed, “We need a new approach.”

“But she has the-.” Raditz argued before Vegeta snapped.

“I know Kassava has the Dragon Balls.” Vegeta snapped as he glanced back over to Chi hunched over Kakarot’s body on the ground. The sight stirred an emotion in him. He didn’t know what to make of it, but he knew he had to take action before he allowed it to consume him.

“Stay here. I’m going to get Bulma.”

“And what’s she going to do, Vegeta? She can’t bring him back.” Raditz uttered, surprising the king with his tone, which was filled with sudden grief as they both stared at Chi in front of them.

“No, there’s nothing we can do for Kakarot now.” The king replied before he blasted off into the air, leaving the beach with speed.

Sleeping Meme

Type of bed: Long Twin-sized bed. It's fresh but it came furnished with his apartment.

Number of blankets: A comforter and a sheet. He'll add another one if he gets cold, though.

Number of pillows: Just one. He used to have more but he kept tossing them off in his sleep.

Type of clothing: He's got simple pajamas. They look like a much more simplified and lightweight version of his usual outfit, without all the extra layers and such. Very Kai style.

Does it matter where they sleep?: It has to be a bed, at the bare minimum. That being said, he has a hard time sleeping anywhere if he's not sleeping with someone (and even then it's not 100% foolproof, it just makes it easier, at least when he allows himself to do it). When the lack of regular sleep catches up to him so hard that he just kind of crashes, then he could fall asleep anywhere, even standing up. His body just goes, "nope, we're done--"

What do they do when they can't fall asleep?: If lying awake and overthinking doesn't work (it doesn't), he'll usually spend time designing and making things, usually clothes. He does this by hand because it keeps him busy and distracted from all the things he's avoiding in his brain until his eyes get heavier than the thoughts.

Frequent dreams, and/or nightmares: Dreams about school, dreams about being hunted, dreams about watching his friends die in all the various graphic ways he's seen people die, dreams where everyone is angry with him and everything he does only makes things worse because the universe has decided he's objectively wrong. Oftentimes a combination of the above as his various traumas merge into some flavor of nightmare soup.

Deep slumber or naps?: Naps

When do they sleep?: He usually tries to go to sleep by around midnight, but he's often still up until at least 3 or 4 in the morning. If he's really stressed or excited for something, he might go through periods where he won't get more than a couple of hours sleep over the course of multiple days. Terrible insomniac, this one.

What could wake them up?: Just about anything, really. He's usually a very light sleeper, so any sort of loud noise or abrupt movement will do it, assuming he isn't woken up by nightmares. However, if he's passed out from exhaustion, almost nothing is waking him up until his body's decided he's slept enough.

He'd been steadily attempting to grow the length of his beard over the past week - finally getting a good scruff going but working to ensure it's not unkempt. Seeing Kassava he immediately flashed a smile and a wave.

"Kassie!! You're a life saver - This thing can get surprisingly itchy..." He rubbed his chin with a small grumble.
