the intro for the baker street file contains several quotes that feel like they're directed entirely at jeremy (which he definitely did not listen to at all):

A Hail of Arrows, by Michael Cox. I read Shakespeare’s Henry IV Part 1 and saw Part 2 back in high school, but now I feel like I should read Henry V.

I only know bits and pieces about the 100 Years’ War, so this book provided a good overview of the entire conflict in addition to explaining the Battle of Agincourt in detail.

Mayor Michelle Wu announced the appointment of Roxbury native and former Dorchester resident Michael Cox as the 44th Commissioner of the Boston Police Department. Cox currently serves as the Chief of Police of the Ann Arbor Police Department in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to his appointment to that position in 2019, Cox was a 30-year veteran of the Boston Police Department. He will begin serving in his new role on August 15, 2022.

Michael Cox had this to say about the snake in granada's "the speckled band:"

“…Our snake was a harmless one but I imagine that most human beings have an instinctive aversion to reptiles, so I have enormous admiration for Jeremy Kemp and Denise Armon, who allowed the creature to crawl over them. I remember asking Mike Grimes if the snake had a name. ‘Yes,’ he said, ‘it’s called Kevin.’ I was expecting something out of Rudyard Kipling and thought that Kevin was an unusual name for a snake. ‘Not at all,’ said Mike, ‘I gave it to him because he reminds me of someone I once worked with….'”

For some ungodly unknown reason, Susan absolutely loves and approves of Micheal when he and Alastor go to Cannibal Town, (idk for plot convenience) even more than Vox. While they are in Cannibal Town, Susan first sees Micheal and Alastor and goes to them mistaking Micheal for Lucifer. Susan's about to go on another rampage about how Vox would be a better boyfriend than this flat assed brokie when she realised that this wasn't Lucifer cuz idk their personalities are different. Micheal, within Susans 30 second attention span manages to get her mental approval, and to get her to consider him as a potential suitor for Alastor somehow

Luicfer, viewing all of this, goes off to beat up Micheal and challenge him to a duel for Alastor's hand in front of the entire Cannibal Town colony. Alastor is extremely confused, but he does want to see them fighting, so he just doesn't say anything. Susan says that this isn't necessary, and that Micheal has her full approval and is the best suitor overall. Moments after she says this, the entire pentagrams power/electricity just mysteriously shuts down.
