A little about the picture: This is definitely not the kind of thing Lavender would normally wear, but I thought she deserved to look a little glamorous for NYE. ^^ It's funny how much older a character can look with different styling!

Speaking of looking older, tomorrow (or... perhaps today, depending on your timezone) is Lavender's IC birthday! Born on the first of the year, which is definitely lucky (citation needed).

Another fun fact: To set up this picture, I had to have the real Lavender set off a firework, then move Carbuncle-Lavender into the foreground so it looked like the fireworks were going off outside the bar. That made fighting with the camera SO ANNOYING, but we got there eventually, I think!

(...the payoff of that joke is not going to be near worth it. XD) Not too much to say about this one! I really like the filter that I picked for it -- I wanted these to look really bright and washed out and somewhere between serene and ominous. I think I got pretty close! FebHyurary Day 18: Mount

I had intended for Lavender's "official" IC-mount to eventually become the True Griffin, but there's been so much happening in her life lately that there hasn't been a good time to introduce it! (without it feeling kind of awkward or forced, y'know?) I'm still really keen on the idea, though. I like it being a way to tie back to her mother/Ala Mhigan heritage... plus the True Griffin is just so COOL. XD

FebHyurary Day 11: Minion

...speaking of Number 3 (the tiny tonberry), Lavender actually dressed up as him for All Saint's Wake. XD I really adore this costume! (And yes, this is also an image I'm recylcing from Glamtober. Sorry!)

Fun facts about Number 3:

He's Lavender's companion, given to her by one of her bosses to be a "personal assistant" (but really more like... emotional support tonberry).

He is one of eight tonberries that live at the theater Lavender works for/also lives at. He is the smallest of his kin.

He and his fellow tonberries do not appear to be related to the tonberries from the Wanderer's Palace, almost as if they are completely different creatures altogether... They do not speak, but express themselves through actions and little squeaks.

His hobbies include coloring and exploring. His best friend is Number 5.

Gyr Abania is so pretty, I wish more people used these zones for pictures! I thought the mix of red and green trees in this area would be perfect for a "fall" themed picture.
