After a few shots and your usual cocktail you decided to get one of the big fish bowl cocktails with Mor but you were drinking most of it

At this point you were tipsy and overly giggly

Az slides in the booth next to you taking your straw out of the large drink. You give him feigning shock and he looks down at you cocking an eyebrow

“I think that’s enough yeah princess. I don’t want you to be too hung over tomorrow.” You giggle pressing a kiss to his cheek, “ok daddy, whatever you say.” You hiccup and giggle some more

You love when he does your hair. The feeling of his fingers scratching your scalp is so relaxing

You teach him your skin care routine so he can do it for you

He knows how to braid thanks to Cassian and he loves braiding your hair, it’s relaxing for him

“Daddy, will you help me wash my hair?” Az drops everything just to come help you

Before you can even do anything he’s already in the bathroom running the bath for you adding bubble bath, salts, and getting everything he needs for your hair or washing you

He’s even ready for after with all your moisturizers and serums laid out

Azriel is very gentle when it comes to taking care of you

When he washes your hair he gives you a scalp massage and rubs your temples

Then he washes your face and back, he lets you do the rest and enjoy sitting in the water

Sometimes he sits with you outside the tub just to talk to you or hold your hand

When you get out he dries you off and wraps you in a warm fluffy robe

He carry’s you over to your vanity and brushes out your wet hair and helps do the rest of your skin care

And when he’s done he’ll kiss all over your face and then finally your lips

Feyre had sent word on behalf on her and Nesta that rehabilitation in the human lands were progressing well, and they should be home come Friday.

She had also scolded Rhys to not be so ‘overbearing and mother-hen like’ towards me, as she heard of what happened through their bond. She always took your side, even when you didn’t deserve it.

Mor and Amren had returned from their trip at Dawn Court, the later grumpier than usual as she sought out the privacy of her own apartment, and Mor waltzed in with a new gown and jewels coloured a dusty dawn pink, courtesy of a little shopping spree she told you.

“We missed you,” you said, swaying in her hug.

“Rita’s, Friday night,” she announced to everyone, pointing around the room as if she would punish you if you didn’t attend.

“Are you sure you’ll be done riding Varian by then, Amren?” Cassian teased before she could escape.

“Watch it boy,” she snarled. “We’ll be there,” she nodded to Mor, leaving without a goodbye.

“Excellent!” Mor clapped. She pulled your hands to her room, babbling about her recent trip. “I’m thinking I will wear my newest gown from Dawn. Oh, and you must see what I bought you, I’m hoping we can tailor it to fit your wings?”

You laughed, she spoiled you like a true Aunt.

Your eyes met Azriel’s as Mor pulled you along, your gaze locked as he stood still, shadows swirling as if hiding something. You hadn’t spoken much outside of pleasantries since the conversation on the terrace, but his eyes blazed in a way you couldn’t understand.

Mor shut her bedroom door, casting a quick sound glamour. She spun around immediately, eyes narrowing on you.

“What. Was. That?”

“Hmm?” you questioned, unaware she noticed anything.

“That stare! That look! Did something happen between you and Azriel?”

You blinked. “No? I mean yes-” Mor gasped. “No, not like that, it’s been weird, I-”

You couldn’t even finish your sentence before she squealed in delight. “Ugh, finally!”

“Finally?”

“Yes, finally, Y/N,” Mor tapped her foot, as if fed up with your naivety. “We all know Azriel is... particularly fond of you. And maybe you are of him?” she guessed bravely, moving your dark long hair off your shoulders.

“I... I’m not sure what he feels,” you admitted. “He’s mostly just...protective.”

“I have a theory,” she replied, fussing over her blond locks in her vanity mirror before turning to you again. “That is the only way Azriel feels safe to love someone.”

You chewed your cheek. It was a bold claim, but Mor knew Azriel in a different way to you.

“Ok,” she strode to her tall closet. “What pretty little thing will we dress you in on Friday?” she asked more to herself, dramatically flinging open the closet doors.

Friday came quickly, and spirits were high as the Inner Circle were united again.

Feyre had chosen a midnight blue gown, flowing with femininity around her baby bump. Mor wore her trademark red, while you wore a gown of pure pearl that gently glittered as it plunged down your to your midriff, the back of the dress practically non-existent. Revealing but exciting, and a gorgeous contrast for your dark hair, Mor explained. You looked in the mirror, she wasn’t wrong.

Rita’s was always a hoot, and before long each and every one of you were considerably drunk.

You looked around at your family, Rhys and Feyre had retired early so she could rest. Cassian teased Nesta in the corner of the booth, her spirits lifted by the music. Amren was sitting on Varian’s lap, arms draped across his neck with a glass of wine as she smiled in her feline way while he muttered something in her ear.

Azriel and you were engaged in a conversation, he let you go on and on about a book you had read on the history of Illiryian weaponry. Drunken words flowed from you as you spoke with passion, Azriel watching with a relaxed smile.

You cut off your long winded sentence, catching him. “What are you smiling at?” you pestered, nudging his knee with yours.

He pressed his lips and shook his head, but the smile remained.

“Shots!” Mor shouted, carrying a tray of deep green liquid to your booth. Someone groaned, someone clapped.

“They say this is stuff will make you spill all your secrets,” Mor said, holding her shot high and inspecting the liquid.

“Just like Truth Teller,” you winked towards Azriel, your family laughing.

The liquid warmed your blood, and Mor pulled you by the hands to come dance with her.

You reached back to Az, begging him to join you. He crossed his arms and shook his head, waving a sarcastic goodbye as Mor pulled on you.

Prick.

Laughing and spinning to the music, you fell into the rhythm with the other party-goers at Rita’s.

Particularly, a handsome blonde male.

He grabbed your hand and spun you round and round, you laughed in delight, intoxicated and free.

You could have sworn you felt the cold jealousy of Azriel’s shadows as he stared from the booth. Too bad, you thought, he should have joined you in the first place. A dark part of you enjoyed the fact that he was watching. You drunkenly decided to see how far you could go.

The male was quite charming, and continued to dance and flirt with you throughout the night. You whispered jokes in his ear, and flirted back with no shame. The male was in awe of you.

He suggested you get some fresh air, and you happily agreed, holding his hand as you snuck outside.

Leaning against the the wall of the building, you could feel the thump of the music from inside as you giggled at the male’s joke.

He rested his forearm above your head, leaning down and looking at you.

“Can I kiss you?” he asked.

You blinked up at him flirtatiously. “I don’t even know your name.”

“My name is Merino,” he replied, leaning in further and kissing your neck gently. “Can I kiss you now?”

“Yes,” you breathed, his own breath sending tingles throughout your body.

He grabbed your face, mouths colliding as you hooked your arms around his neck. Between all the comments and teasing with Az, you had built up a lot of tension.

A small moan escaped your lips as the blonde ground his body against yours, his hands trailing your back to your backside, pulling your cheeks to him.

The next thing you felt was a cold rush of air, and a surprised yell sounded from Merino as he was ripped off of you.

Azriel stood between you, his hands trembling.

“Azriel!” You exclaimed in shock, your fingers on your lips where Merino was seconds ago, his kiss lingering.

“Leave,” Azriel growled at the male, his back to you. You could barely see past his shadows which swarmed around him, his stance almost feral, ready to attack. Merino stared for a few seconds, then turned and fled, unprepared to fight the Shadowsinger. A wise choice.

“What in Mother’s name do you think you’re doing?” you fumed, words a bit slurred from the alcohol.

He turned and grabbed you arm without even looking at you. “It’s time to go.”

Sure enough, the group were readying to leave out the front of the bar.

You sulkily agreed, winnowing yourself back to the House of Wind, preparing for the fight you were about to have with Azriel.

ok so saying Laura didn't get redemption is kinda silly because. she is destroying the ant farm. like... that's thee one thing that has destroyed Rita, the Sisterhood, Rama, Larry and herself! that's redemption at its finest!!! she's being both good and bad at the same time just like she was asking vic if it was possible, she's killing people but she's protecting countless metahumans that the bureau would have tortured, and repeated the same shit they did onto her and her family, she's doing GÜD!!!!

My Ultimate Reclist

Hi Hello it’s been 4 years now since I came back to the fandom and started reading fics again. I thought I would do a reclist with my all time favorites. It’s gonna be rather long, so bear with me. It contains mostly classics and fics everybody know but it can be useful for new people in the fandom. I’ve read thousands of fics but it’s the ones that stuck with me the most. It is in no particular order.

The Miseducation of Draco Malfoy by @magpiefngrl (37600 words, rated E)

Zacharias Smith writes a tell-all about the D.A. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy are not happy about it.

Ooooh I love everything she writes since I've been back in the fandom and this one didn't disappoint. Draco in this one is just so endearing discovering the muggle world! He's adorable. And I loved Harry falling in love with him as he watches him, honestly I fell in love a little too. Her writing is always very immersive and just top notch? Perfect? I can't praise this fic enough. I think it's also a good one if you just started reading Drarry.

Charlie wanted Harry, but he’d never planned on having him. He’d never planned on Draco Malfoy, either. He hadn’t planned on anything but living out his days in Romania, with his friends and his dragons and his safe, peaceful distance.

Apparently, it wasn’t a very popular plan.

This is a story about crumbs and flickers and roots, running away and coming home; about falling in love without meaning to (twice), and having truly good friends, and the mutually revealing recognition between two people in love with the same man.

This was one of the most beautiful thing I've ever read. At first I was very reluctant to read it because I am so protective of Harry and Draco you know? I wanted to keep them to myself and didn't see myself share them with another character. But then Charlie came in and knocked out all my preconceived notions. I fell in love with him and his voice instantly. I was sucked in by the prose and the feels. So many feelings that everyone has. It made me think of polyamour in a whole new way and I adored it. Please please if you haven't, read it. It is so worth it.

A Descent into Delicious Delirium by J_amethyst (27273 words, rated M)

Harry makes a few piss-poor decisions. Malfoy’s still a rich prick.

The lesson to be learned here: Don’t engage in a disastrous game of chicken. Unless, of course, you enjoy the idea of a naked photoshoot, and the entire Wizarding World believing you get off on Malfoy.

I'm sorry but this is not ok, I see no one talking about this fic ever and it is SO GOOD? The prose immediately sucked me in from the start they have a way of writing that is very poetic? And weirdly I liked that Harry and Draco don't speak much?! I mean they spoke but not to say many things. They're playing around things all the time. And it adds SO MUCH TENSION like I could cut myself with it. Idk it was just brilliant. Everything was brilliant. I also loved that it was mainly focused on Harry and Draco. So. Go read it right this instant because this fic deserves so much love.

It just squeezed my heart and then released it and make it swell. The end is beautiful. I loved the auror training. I loved everything. It's a masterpiece as everything lettered writes. (Yes I fangirl on the daily at her writing and wish I was her and also the keyboard she puts her finger on. Marry me? thank you)

My god this one is wonderful. Harry is the sweetest and broke my heart. The slow realization on Draco's part is so good to see. It made my cry and I loved Harry even more after reading this. And Draco, my heart broke for him too. The end was so perfect I smiled like an idiot. This fic is a treasure and a gift and I will cherish it for a long time.

He Who Must Not Be Normal by @letteredlettered (40913 words, rated E)

Potter has fame and fortune and posh clothes and all he wants is a simple life. Draco has a flat and a cat and a steady job and all he wants is a complicated life.

Which makes you think this story has something exciting like body-swapping, but it doesn’t.

Instead it has Indian takeaway and a blue jumper and people wanting a whole lot of what they can’t have, discovering themselves as they discover each other

Ok let’s talk serious business. THIS FIC LADIES AND GENTS it has to be one of my favorite of all time. Draco is so endearing to me with his simple life, and Harry is a mess, and it hurts, hurts, hurts in every way. It felt so wrong to me, but then it became right and everything clicked into place and it works and it’s incredible. I adored it, it is so brilliant. Please give it a read you won’t regret it. Please read all other fics she writes because every fics of hers is amazing you will do yourself a favor.

Stupid love by @the-sinking-ship (16940 words, rated E)

Harry Potter, how does Draco Malfoy hate thee? Let me count the ways.

It was a very fun and very charming read. I laughed a little too much at Draco's obliviousness, very unreliable narrator. I love that Harry just knew and went for it even when Draco was such a tough nut to crack. He was just so sure that he hated him! Oh Draco my sweet child. They were adorable. Read it without worry.

In the Hand by aideomai (28470 words, rated T)

Two months after Harry went missing, when Hermione was frantic with fear and panic and sleep deprivation, Draco Malfoy cornered them outside the Great Hall before breakfast.

Another amazing author. This was just so freakin creative. I loved all the versions of Harry and Draco in this Drarryverse lol. Each of them were different and believable. It made me want to read a fic for each version. Anyway this was brilliant.

Far from the tree by aideomai (112572 words, rated E)

The arrival of Harry Potter’s children—snapped back in time, the children themselves guessed, twenty or so years—was the most interesting thing to happen at Hogwarts for years.

Gosh I love this fic. The reunion scene in the forest will remain imprinted in my head for a long time. My heart ached for Draco so much. But then when the reveal happens I loved seeing the older versions of Harry and Draco and their interactions with the younger ones. Perfect writing and perfect ending to a perfect fic.

“Dad says” by GallaPlacidia (39219 words, not rated)

Eleven-year-old Scorpius starts writing to Harry. Harry starts to fall in love with Draco through his portrayal in his son's letters.

Featuring an extremely remorseful Draco living with muggles and working at a second-hand book shop, an isolated Harry, and a Scorpius who's dreading going to Hogwarts because he knows he'll be bullied there.

I adored Scorpius in this and the relationship he develops with Harry. This fic was just adorable for me. And when something ends with "All was well" then I'm just a sucker for it! I loved this fic and honestly I could rec all GallaPlacidia's fics so please go read them all!

Soup-pocalypse and The Great Curry Cataclysm by SquadOfCats (104357 words, rated E)

Eleven years after the war, Draco Malfoy leads a quiet, boring, and perfectly respectable life, thanks very much. Or, at least he does, until a sudden and very unexpected veela awakening causes him to throw soup all over Harry Potter in the middle of the Ministry cafeteria.

This one is simply HILARIOUS. I laughed so much at the cafeteria scene. I usually don’t like creature fics much but this one was great I highly recommend.

Grounds for Divorce by @tepre (122217 words, rated E)

Malfoy finds a coin. Harry finds a letter.

A story about histories, a story about families. A story about a lemon tree somewhere in Upper Egypt.

This is the perfect bonding fic (I love this trope) the jealousy killed me but it was alright at the end. Everything felt organic. It was messy and painful but so beautifully written. Masterpiece. Go read it. I could put every one of Tepre's fics on this list they are all so good! She's an amazing author!

Buy A Heart by xErised (17668 words, rated E)

Draco's cock hardens as he looks at the invitation to the charity auction; his golden ticket to one wild night of desperate sex with Potter to get rid of this inexplicable obsession. His heart whispers that one night will never be enough, but Draco is beyond caring. All he knows is that he will pay any price to have Potter over and over again.

Alright so this one is pure and filthy smut and it is so freakin HOT. It left a strong impression on me years ago, go read it.

After Harry’s unfortunate encounter with his ex, Draco Malfoy makes him a proposition. Draco wants his parents to stop matchmaking him and Harry wants to make his ex jealous. All they need to do is simply pretend they’re in love. Problem is… Draco already is.

Aaaah fake dating I freakin love this trope! I love this Draco, he is a mess, he plays piano, he’s hot. Such a perfect fic.

The Claiming of Grimmauld Place by @bixgirl1 (74228 words, rated E)

When Grimmauld Place begins fighting against Harry’s ownership of it, he decides he needs help to train the historic home — but little does he expect that it’ll be Malfoy who’s most suitable for the challenge. However, as Malfoy and Harry get closer, Harry comes to understand that expectations aren’t always the best path by which to guide his heart — and in the process learns just what is needed to make a house a home.

I loved the magical theory. Sentient houses are my kink. The smut is scorching hot. This is so good. Bix is such a treasure to the fandom and I loved every one of her fics I advise you check them all out.

A Hag, a Hex, a Tale of Redemption by @aibidil (43328 words, rated E)

A fuck-or-die fairytale in which Draco Malfoy lives a despicable and unapologetic life — that is, until he's cursed to die unless he can fall in love with and fuck Harry Potter

I read it really a long time ago so I don’t remember much but I love the trope of fuck-or-die and this one really stuck with me. I remember it was so good and I loved it.

Ligabus Filium by @tessacrowley (41534 words, rated E)

It should be careful, deliberate, but it isn't. Like every other part of their relationship, it happens gradually and then all at once, before they even realize it. And when the little blue threads bind them together, there's no going back.

When I started reading Drarry again I was a sucker for BDSM fics. To me, if you’re into the genre, this is the best one. Tessa crowley is such a good writer, I recommend you check her other fics as well.

Forgive those who trespass by Lomonaaeren (135889 words, rated E)

Harry Potter was convinced he had an ordinary, if inconvenient, life. Then Ron and Hermione vanished in the Department of Mysteries. And the only person who may know where they are is a mute Draco Malfoy.

I read this fic when I first came back to the fandom. I don't remember the details just that it deeply stuck with me. I was slightly horrified but intrigued. I love everything in the department of mysteries. This was a horrific adventure and I loved it. If you want something on the dark side this is for you.

One good turn always deserves another. Apparently.

I couldn’t make a reclist without including Turn. This fic changed me and my viewpoint for the better. It made me question my life choices. There’s nothing to describe it, you need to experience it.

Running on Air by eleventy7 @tinyhistory (74875 words, rated T)

Draco Malfoy has been missing for three years. Harry is assigned the cold case and finds himself slowly falling in love with the memories he collects.

Best for last. This is my favorite fic ever written ever. The vivid scenery. The pacing. It’s soft and there’s love. It’s brilliant and beautiful and poetic and I so deeply want a hard copy of it. I need it tattooed on my soul. By the end I was a sobbing mess. It is weirdly so personal to me. I think I too found home by reading it. DROP EVERYTHING YOU’RE DOING AND READ IT. THANK YOU.

(Ok, I want to talk about this scene... If you're unfamiliar with this, these six (silver guy there doesn't count in the official roster) are the kings of their small nations on a distant planet. Red/Gira is a boy who had to grow up fast, who stole the symbols of authority from a wicked king who was willing to let millions die in a prophesied war. Blue/Yanma is the president of a high-tech nation, who built the mechs they use, and who has always had to hold his head high so his people wouldn't see him cry.

Yellow/Himeno is the Queen of a land dedicated to beauty and medicine. She has encouraged people to "be a little selfish" when reaching for their own dreams.

Purple/Rita is the Supreme Justice of the land of Gokkan, where all law on the planet comes from. Up until this point, they have worn a high collar around their face to keep up the image of impartiality, but here Rita wears the collar down so their enemy can see their face.

Black/Kaguragi is the leader of the breadbasket of the world. He plays five-dimensional chess, forges dangerous alliances and works behind the scenes to ensure the best possible scenario.

White/Jeramie is the half-blooded king of the Bugnarok people from beneath the planet's surface, the enemy faction in the first half of the series. In the second half of the series, Red meets with Dugded Djardin, a cosmic being who makes different races on planets go to war because it amuses him. Dugded is basically god, and every time the Kingohgers thought they had him beat, he had an another ace up his sleeve.

There's been a plan in play for years to defeat Dugded, but it requires full cooperation by the royals and as Yanma put it an episode before "A million small miracles all lined up." In that next to last episode, the kings tried to enact a full evacuation plan, sending their people into space. However, Silver/Racules and the retainers of the Kings realized that if they did, they'd just be perpetuating the cycle. Dugded would find them again and make them his playthings once more. So instead of fleeing, the WHOLE POPULATION of the world returned to aid their kings in the final battle. Those who could fight, did. Those who couldn't fight, tended to their Kings' wounds. During this time, the Kings received aid from an unlikely place. The land of the dead opened its gates and offered up: 1) their parents, 2) one of the king's warriors who had long ago been killed and replaced by a shapeshifter, 3)the enemy general from the first half of the series and 4) The Very First King of the World. The civilians, soldiers and fallen ones bought the Kings the time they needed to rest and recuperate after having asteroids literally dropped on their heads. They are patched up, fed, and have gained a second wind and smiling. And Dugded can't understand why they're smiling and gives them the best straight line ever. "Just who the hell do you think you are?" Yanma steps up first, declaring that he's not going to bow to some false god. He will hold his head high and lead his people into the future, a future where mankind never needs fear the wrath of the gods. He leads his team of hackers, codecrackers and inventors back to the battle, making sure that his most loyal retainer can stand up. Himeno is next. She identifies herself as the "Unwilting Flower" and tells Dugded that her path is before her and she will stride down it, and makes it clear that he is just a speedbump on that path. Kaguragi's speech says "These people are my life. I will cross through any depth of mud and dirty my hands for their sake." And in this case, fighting Dugded, he doesn't just intend to dirty his hand, he intends to bloody them. Rita's speech mirrors one they made earlier in the series "The law is spear that can pierce the heart of a king, and a shield that can protect the populace. Even in the face of death and destruction, the law remains resolute, and I am the Law." Rita is leading an army of justices and criminals alike, because they all deserve the chance to live free of Dugded's influence. Jeramie says "I am the king of man, of Bugnarok and all that lies between. I am the great storyteller, and my story will continue, but yours will come to an end." And Gira demands for a god to "tremble in your boots for you face the true might of Shuggodam. We will take this world that you have been toying with and conquer it for ourselves." What follows this scene is almost twenty minutes of fighting where everyone gets a chance to shine, and then the million little miracles happen when the people grant their souls in service to their kings. This allows the Kingohger to fight Dugded on a cosmic scale, in a brawl that ends with Dugded being punched out of the universe, and the Kingohgers breaking his soul into six pieces with their swords. This is by far one of the best final henshin scenes in Super Sentai history because the buildup to this moment was phenomenal.)

Which Power Ranger color would every Duck be?

this is the best ask i've ever gotten lmaoooo

OK SO… jesse is the red ranger, no doubt. charlie is the green ranger. connie is the pink ranger. guy is the yellow ranger. fulton is the black ranger… they find him like 2 eps later because he wasn't with district 5 when they got their morphers, and we get an entire episode dedicated to the rangers teaching him how to ranger while he's like "wtf is going on". apparently this is now a show with episodes. goldberg and averman are bulk and skull.

adam is the silver ranger who also wasn't with them but, unlike fulton, wasn't found by zordon bombay. he was found by rita reilly repulsa!!! so adam was under the influence of Evil since day 1. he infiltrates the power rangers under the guise of being Good. they think it's odd but warm up to him except for jesse. adam doesn't turn Good until the penultimate ep where he realizes everything he's been told is a lie!!

in season 2, because this is now a show with several seasons, lord zedd "the dentist" stansson arrives to earth to see if reilly repulsa has taken over the world yet and is displeased to see that he got his ass kicked by a bunch of kids in colorful tights. so he tries to do it himself. to counteract this, zordon bombay calls in help from... more rangers... somewhere... this is a new season so they recycle the colors but idk maybe they've added a little white to the outfit. julie is the pink ranger but she removes the skirt. kenny is the blue ranger. dwayne is the yellow ranger and keeps the skirt. portman is the black ranger. russ gets added later as the quantum ranger which is really just red but somehow no one ever mentions that.

in season 3, zordon bombay dies. jesse mysteriously disappears with him, but it's like he was never there because they don't mention him ever. the kids think their days of fighting Evil as the power rangers are over but then ivan rick ooze tries to take over the planet. he's very slimy. charlie takes over as the red ranger. the team is out of whack. they don't understand their new mentor, orion, but they're just grieving their old one. he doesn't get a name because i can't think of any. adam's power suit won't work and he has to go into a cryogenic sleep coma and we barely see him the entire season. the kids go on a spiritual journey and get ninja powers or whatever the hell happened in mighty morphin power rangers: the movie (1995). after zordon bombay talks to him in a weird ass dream, charlie realizes he does not need to emulate jesse and is perfectly able to lead the team his way. they defeat the ooze.

in the scrapped season 4 we find out that zordon bombay is alive but was hidden somewhere in space for protection. he asked jesse to do this, but in the process, had to erase him from the other rangers' memories so they wouldn't try to find zordon bombay or jesse. this is why no one remembered him. unfortunately something went wrong and now zordon bombay AND jesse are corrupted by evil/brainwashed and now jesse calls himself astronema astrohall. astrall. idk. the rangers set out to save them... will they have to kill their old leader????? will adam wake up from his coma???? find out next on mighty duckin power rangers!!!

But Blaine doesn't forget about it. Even after Tina is gone and he’s dragged himself through a shower and eaten enough carbs to push his hangover headache to a mostly ignorable twinge.

He deletes the original post and shares a sincere apology - mostly for any hate he inadvertently sent Sebastian's way. Sebastian definitely deserves it but it doesn't mean Blaine shouldn't be responsible with his platform. And more than that, he doesn’t want to deal with whatever Sebastian’s retaliation might be. He can be both creative and quite vicious when the mood strikes him.

He retreats to the corner of his room that serves as a studio to work on the arrangement for his latest cover but his phone is a constant distracting series of chimes and vibrations, notifying him of engagement on his new post. Maybe he's not cut out for this influencer stuff. It can't be normal to suffer through this level of anxiety every time he has a minor screw up. If simultaneously calling out your ex whilst also drunkenly trying to get laid on Valentine's Day can be considered minor.

He vaguely thinks about going for a walk to clear his head but a glance out the window shows that it's started to rain in that persistent drizzle kind of way that seems like it's never going to stop.

So he picks up his phone.

Kaguragi: I must admit, I am rather curious as to how you two became involved with each other.

Yanma: No, wait, how’d you both stop fighting.

Jeramie: That was the most interesting thing, when one of our attacks, I don’t remember which, was going to hit Gerojim, he immediately teleported in front of him and protected him.

Himeno: Wait, protected?

Jeramie: Most interesting isn’t it?

Jeramie: He simply attacked in self-defense and we attacked in self-defense.

Kaguragi: A most historic first meeting between lovers.

Yanma: I assume he made it back to his world soon after?

Jeramie: Not exactly, he did arrive in front of my throne accidentally, so he had trouble returning… and you could say we bonded then.

Kaguragi: So that was what the food was for!

Kaguragi: I was perplexed why someone like you were trying to get some food and the Bugnarak have never been known to eat the produce of Toufu

Himeno: I remember that inquiry.

Gira: In any case, I’m happy for you, Jeramie.

Because it’s Halloween season: How would you do a vampire story in a post game setting? And who would you be the vampire until they are somehow cured?

Ooo fun idea. And honestly this is probably what a majority of people were hoping for when I said I was writing a vampire fic and instead wrote a meticulously detailed medieval AU about 14th century politics in Ireland lmao.

Ok, so, who should be the vampire? I think tonally it depends on if you want to go "sexy tragic vampire" or "horror vampire." Is the vampire one of our heroes, who is tragically condemned to drink blood and lose their humanity? Or is it one of their enemies, thought defeated but returned as the undead and more dangerous than ever?

Yuri is such an obvious pick for a vampire. He's got the looks (pale, dresses in black, moon aesthetic) and the story themes are already there (are you really willing to bloody your hands? have you become a monster?). So I feel like if I were to write a vampire fic, I would not make Yuri the vampire simply because half the work is already done for me.

And let's be honest, the only other choices for me are Estelle or Flynn, because all of my fics focus on Yuri, Estelle, or Flynn.

I did already write about Flynn as a vampire, but in a very different setting. Considering Flynn is thematically associated with light and the sun, there's an extra layer of tragedy if he's cursed to burn in sunlight and unable to set foot in the sun again.

You could get some of that same inversion-of-aesthetic with Estelle, who's generally bright and flowery. Estelle also has some narrative themes that could blend well with vampirism, in the way using her magic hurts the world. Having to literally feed on the life of others makes her CotFM powers even more immediate.

Hm... what if Estelle did die from what Alexei did to her, and unbeknownst to the rest of the cast (and even Estelle herself) the version they get back at the Sword Stair is undead. The more she uses her magic, the more her energy drains, and the only way to restore herself is to drink human blood.

OR we go with the type of vampire in which the human personality is no more, and either a wholly new evil soul has possessed the corpse, or their old self is corrupted and monstrous, so you get "Estelle" who is now a ruthless villain. One of my earliest ToV fics was about "What if Estelle was secretly evil?" so I've always been fond of that idea.

If we're looking at villain vampires, I think Yeager is an obvious choice. I mean. Look at him. He's got fangs. He also has done that vampire thing of disguising his identity by turning his name backward Alucard style (Yeager/Regaey). Plus you could count him as undead given the blastia heart. So maybe post-game, he comes back as extra undead.

Alexei coming back as a vampire could also be fun. I could see him as a Dracula-esque vampire manipulating his way into power and treating his victims has play things before draining them. And I imagine he would especially want to get revenge on the pesky kids who killed him the first time.

Ok, so maybe combine some of these ideas. If this is how I would do a vampire fic, I'm generally more interested in vampires in a horror plot than a tragic love interest plot, so I would lean into Alexei coming back from the dead. Bodies drained of blood start showing up around Zaphias as he grows in strength.

His primary targets for revenge would be Flynn and Raven, because they didn't just fight him, they betrayed him. And especially Flynn, who betrayed him, killed him, and then took his job. Rude. So maybe he can turn Estelle into a vampire as an extra fuck-you to Flynn - taunting him with the girl he swore to protect and now has to fight, but desperately doesn't want to kill.

And then is Yuri willing to kill Estelle? How long until he gives up on the idea of finding a cure and sees this as saving the real Estelle so she can rest in piece? How do the rest of the party like Rita and Judith divide and feud over whether to kill her?

Which is all, of course, playing right into Alexei's hands because while they're distracted with the horror and grief of what's happened to Estelle, he's plotting to retake his position and finish the coup he started.

Let Nick's good deeds form his path out, like a staircase of light. May he be born anew. Released from the darkness of self doubt and hatred, a prison of our own creation.

THE PREPS

The Preps are a very broad group to be affiliated with, as it encompasses many countries— although most prominently the united states.

instead of being a set criminal syndicate, The Preps are legacy students (meaning their parents went to the school) of government officials, military leaders, and intelligence agencies.

all of them come from wealth, and many of them stick together tightly despite not being an actual organization. they have no leaders set at the school of godric’s atelier of the deadly arts.

DEAMHAIN AN TUAISCIRT (AKA NORTHERN DEMONS)

irish organized crime unit based in dublin, ireland. it’s run by the mckinnon family, and recently (when the fic takes place) because the most prominent crime organization in ireland after their rival gang fell apart.

they are a primarily leftist and anti-imperialist group, and at the school they are the smallest affiliation, but they make up for it in strength. their leader at godric’s is marlene.

members: marlene mckinnon, fabian prewett, gideon prewett, tarquin mctavish, and sturgis podmore.

SYNDICAT DU SERPENT (AKA SERPENT SYNDICATE)

the largest organized crime unit in france, with reach in countries like england, italy, and the united states. they are run by the black family.

members are known to be elusive and deadly, preferring to keep to themselves whenever possible. most of the time they don’t take well to strangers. their leader at godric’s is regulus.

members: regulus black, evan rosier, mulciber, avery, wilkes, amycus carrow, and alecto carrow.

LAS BRUJAS

a women-only movement, and organized crime unit, based in juárez, mexico. they are run by selene meadowes, and their aim is to not only protect the women and girls of their communities, but teach them to protect themselves too.

they operate mainly through vigilante justice, but are known to take out some hits here and there and influence politics. their leader at godric’s is dorcas.

members: dorcas meadowes, pandora (i’m still deciding on a last name for her! suggestions are welcome!), emma vanity, sybil trelawney.)

TOKORO NORIKUMI (AKA TOKORO CREW)

the largest crime syndicate in japan, based in tokyo. they primarily serve the tokoro family and their wishes. they control many businesses and subsidiary crime groups , and also do activities such as drug trafficking, real estate, assassinations, and extortion.

they are the most prominent affiliation at godric’s, both through size and skill. their leader at godric’s is emmeline vance (also called eme tokoro, in this fic. she’s go many names ok.) the other affiliations know better than to mess with them.

members: emmeline vance, kazuhiro shiratori, keiko takahashi, and minaka hirakata.

ZABINI MAFIA

italian mafia that is based in rome, but has reach in nearly all the major cities of italy. they have a death grip on politics and the police force. they are run by the zabini family.

the zabini mafia are more outgoing than most of the other affiliations, but they’re ultimately loyal to themselves. it’s good to be on their good side, and very bad to be on their bad side.

members: ornella zabini, barty crouch jr, florence, ludo bagman, amelia bones, and edgar bones.

KOLDOVSTVORETZ MAFIYA (AKA THE KOLDS)

essentially the russian mafia. they are one of the minor groups in the fic in terms of relevance. no main characters are apart of this affiliation.

members: igor karkaroff, antonin dolohov, gruffyd wellnelly, and baglan wellnelly.

FLAG MOB (AKA THE NATIONAL HAND & DIXIE RULE)

this is a unique affiliation, as it combines two separate organizations from different countries: the dixie rule of the american south, and the national hand of england.

they are the most undoubtedly cut and dry bad guys in this story, as they are inspired by racist groups like the national front and the dixie mob.

i hate them as the writer. you are meant to hate them too as a reader. they do serve a purpose and are not just here to be Edgy or something weird like that.

dixie rule members: jugson and gibbon.

national hand members: walden macnair, thorfinn rowle, and corban yaxley.

THE SQUIBS

the squibs are students with no affiliations at all. they are the outcasts of the school, essentially. a lot of them don’t come from organized crime backgrounds at all and have no formal training, but a few of them are those that were disowned from their affiliations! no leaders for obvious reasons.

members: lily evans, remus lupin, mary macdonald, xenophilius lovegood, and severus snape.
