Oh brain what have you done.

Darlin laid on the ground, every nerve and muscle growing numb from the cold. a giant gash in their stomach was keeping them from passing out completely yet the blood lost was battling and was stronger than the shear pain.

Their breath slowed down a few wisps of the warm air coming out of their mouth. Sam slid on the ground next to them, they didn't hear him. They opened their eyes slightly to see him, their ears stopped ringing and they heard his panicked voice.

"Darlin'! Darlin' talk to me!" He said, holding them in his lap. His hand began to glow as he began working on healing their wounds. It was no use. The amount of blood that was lost was to much, they wouldn't make it.

"I can't heal- I can't heal you darlin'" Sam sniffled, wiping his nose with his palm. Darlin' held the end of his shirt.

"you have to.. you have to turn me.." their voice was soft and coarse. Sams eyes widened and he should his head.

"no..no, baby I'm not turning you. I-I cant-"

He looked around, no one was nearby to help and no matter how fast he was he couldn't get help. It was the only option. They die in his arms or they get turned and lose shifting to be a vampire forever.
