O Sorrentino εχει χαρακτήρα, εχει κινηματογραφικό ύφος κι αυτό εχει πλέον εδραιωθεί και βγαίνει αυθόρμητα σε κάθε πλάνο κάθε ταινιας του.

Οι αγαπημένες θεματολογίες επιστρέφουν με τα παρτυ και τις καλλονές να αποτελούν τον καμβά πάνω στον οποίο ο σκηνοθέτης σκιαγραφεί τους ανδρικούς χαρακτήρες του και τις αριβιστικες τάσεις τους, συνοδεία αγαπημένων μουσικών επιλογών (σσ. “Can’t get you out of my head - Kylie Minogue).

Η μακρά διάρκεια (καίτοι συντομευμένη καθώς το αρχικό πόνημα ήταν δυο ταινίες) ίσως κουράσει, δίνει παρολαυτα τον απαραίτητο κινηματογραφικό χρόνο στο έργο για να συμπυκνώσει 4(+) χρόνια ιταλικής ιστορίας (γυρω από το πρόσωπο του Berlusconi) και νοοτροπίας και βάζει το ερωτηματικό, με την -καταπληκτική σκηνή τίτλων τέλους- για το ποιοι ειναι οι «αυτοί» ( Loro=αυτοί), ποίοι ειναι οι «άλλοι» και ποιοί ειναι πραγματικα η Ιταλία.
