throwback to when i painstakingly altered a corset to fit me perfectly and within like 2 months quit my horrible school stopped eing so stressed out that i would go days without eating a real meal and gained enough healthy weight that the corset stopped fitting entirely

Gunmar is understandably alarmed.

Sometimes, a human child is passed through, and replace with a changeling adult; their limbs warped and twisted to fit the rough shape of their familiar.

But Troll whelps are not meant to be here. The Darklands is a place of cold and death. No place at all for new life.

His guards approach, leveling their spears, but only on ceremony. Gunmar raises his hand, and at his signal, they return to their posts.

Slowly, Gunmar lifts his aching bones from his throne, starting down the steps on all fours until he's closer to the whelp.

"Don't run." He says in his sternest, commanding voice. And then, "Come here."

He extends a hand to the child, the gesture of any elder troll faced with a lost youngling.

My apologies for putting this here outta nowhere.

But I thought up an Ordonian folktale a while back that I want your opinion on.

As well as a story regarding the origin of the Twili.

I'm especially wondering if I managed to bring the right, folksy vibe to the tale of the Stablad.

No need to apologize, surprises are always welcomed.

I adore the Ordonian Folktale! I would say you definitely brought in the folksy vibe. I loved that you brought Malanya into it, allowing for a wider audience (those who maybe haven’t played TP, but have BOTW/TOTK) to understand. A lot of people do huge elaborate stories for origin folk stories, but true folktales are just like this!

Oh how wonderfully and beautifully made is this. Things you have done to my brain on The Twili & Sols. Your ability to describe something for a reader to actually see it, is great. I was a bit hooked on it to see where you were going with this story and was delighted with the ending and the foreshadowing.

Both of these deserve more than the 3 & 5 hearts they have!!

real answer: i'm not really a shipper tbh. ive said before that i think Goku and Vegeta SHOULD canonically have gay sex but i dont think they should be a romantic couple, which i still stand by. most of the canon couples are ok when theyre not being written really shittily, and Vegeta x Bulma IS really funny because there's something wrong with both of them.

i dont know if i necessarily ship them but i DO think that Shin was DEFINITELY flirting with Gohan during the Buu Saga. OH YEAH i like Tiencha too adn i forget what people call Goten x Trunks but thats nice too. most ships really i dont have strong opinions on other than "oh thats nice" "oh thats funny" or "i'm going to fucking kill you" tbh. SKoT x Zamasu is boring and lame to me UNLESS theyre like an ill-fated one-week fling built solely on their shared hobby of "getting on Trunks's case for time travelling" and then become the bitterest of exes afterwards, THEN its funny

hm. I think I am gonna add a note somewhere saying that the names I gave the almian legends are derived from the Ainu language because idk how many people would recognise it, and ik everyone always heavily leans the Japanese aesthetic and the Greek aesthetic on Hisui based lore and muses and I’ve only seen 1 person I recall acknowledging the existence of the Ainu in regard to actual history

(ik Almia =/= Hisui technically but Sinnoh headcanon links. Make it valid. And I was planning to include these nods before PLA was even a thing)

I got great footage of a spontaneous street jam with an anonymous female singer songwriter in 2022. We had never spoken and she just came up to me whsn I waa playing at the French cafe in the Lower Haight and asked to play with me. I am really glad she did.
