#There is so much political intrigue in the bible lol#I was reading through 1 kings today as part of a separate thing and I got to the part where david dies#or is about to die#which is. technically. the first chapter *waves hand* but still#so anyways#he's about to die and then nathan (prophet) goes to Solomon's mom and he's like 'hey uh don't freak out but david's son adonijah is trying#to claim the throne that was promised to your son. no yeah he's literally like. he's literally doing it right now 🤪'#and she's like ??? omg ?#and he's like 'no it's fine it's ok here's what we're going to do you're gonna go to king david and you're gonna be like 'i thought you#promised the crown to my son solomon :(' and then i'm gonna come behind you and be like 'hey did you change your mind about solomon#becoming king or what?' and then david will fulfill the oath he made before god'#and so bathsheba and nathan enact their little plan and david is like 'uh no i did not change my mind IN FACT. while adonijah is throwing#himself a banquet to celebrate his victory you guys are going to go to gihon and anoint solomon as king right Now'#so nathan et al go to gihon and anoint solomon king and the nation at large is ecstatic about it and they blow a trumpet announcing his#like. his. idk. not election but you know what i mean#so anyways MEANWHILE. adonijah is chilling at his banquet finishing up his feast with his party guests and he hears the trumpet and he's#like huh wonder wot's all this then and then some guy named jonathan comes in at the moment and adonijah is like 'hey buddy :) let's hear#some good news on this Day that i have become king :)'#and jonathan is like 'yeah.....sorry to crash the party but uh. solomon is king now. yikes'#and everyone at adonijah's party is freaked out so they SCATTER and adonijah is like 'oh sh*t solomon is going to kill me'#so he goes to the king like 'hey sorry about the whole *waves hand* usurping thing. haha. anyways can u please swear not to kill me'#and solomon is like '😐 bffr. but yk? alright. if you act right i won't have to but if there's any evil in you? you're outta here bruv''#and so adonijah is like 'ykw? say less' and submits to solomon's kingship and that's the end of chapter one but anyways. ALL this to say#i'm pretty sure i have read this plot in a YA novel except there was significantly more murder at the end#jack.txt#religion //

If you want, I'd love to hear more about why you don't vibe with Mulcahy in canon, I'm very intrigued!
feel a little nervous posting this but here it is:
It’s largely a personal thing. I was born into a very religious, Catholic family that is only 5th-6th-ish generation catholic after being converted by european colonizers, so a character like Mulcahy (volunteer catholic priest in Asia) sets off kill bill sirens in my head.
Mulcahy himself might be an okay guy, but it’s not about the person, it’s about the vocation and the institution he represents. You know how there’s no such thing as a “good cop”?? Yeah.
So his affable, soft-spoken image does nothing for me. When I am moved to feel some kind of way about him, I’m usually not moved in a good way.
I think Mulcahy is awarded quite a few passes that other characters who subscribe to oppressive ideologies (Charles’ Republicanism, Margaret’s pro-military and right-leaning politics and Potter’s regular army shtick) do not get. Margaret can be grating but she also has to contend with how her own beliefs stifle and oppress her as a woman, and a lot of her more rigid views soften throughout the war.
Charles get a decent amount of flak from Hawkeye and BJ, being in opposition to them is essential to his character. Potter is inconsistent, sometimes he openly laments the war and points out the senseless suffering, but also the guy’s a career military man. So what is the truth lol.
Back to Mulcahy. I don’t think his role as a volunteer priest is ever meaningfully challenged by the show, which is of note because many other socially conservative views are taken to task. He’s not a missionary but he’s shown to be handing out bibles to locals, asking them if they might be Catholic… that kind of stuff makes me raise my eyebrows. That example takes place, hilariously, in an episode called The Chosen People, (!!!!) where Hawkeye and Trapper are opposed to forcing a Korean family to relocate. At the end of the episode they are shown to be (happily?) escorted off their land and the good father hands them some bibles for some ‘light reading on the road’ – uh, what the fuck. Hawkeye says ‘they have offices everywhere’ , which I wish didn't land as a quip. It's on-the-nose, and sobering for me to hear. The Catholic church got to be as prolific as it is by decimating entire cultures and traditions.
Christian missionary work is just another flavour of Western imperialism, which the show (at least in its early years) is supposed to be taking a stand against. Hawkeye and Trapper have a few lines that allude to a personal flippancy towards religion mostly in the early years, but that’s pretty much it.
There’s a few other things that make me roll my eyes. In War of Nerves where he compares Sidney, Hawkeye or BJ’s losing a patient’s life to his own ‘losing a soul’ – nope! Not the same!  His clear opposition to his sister leaving the order – blegh. His telling Hawkeye ‘you had to be there’ after Mulcahy’s War after Hawkeye’s been to the front in Aid Station and presumably other times, chill OUT guy.
His whole drama at the end with not being able to rise through the military ranks is boring and annoying to me as someone who really latched on to the anti-military aspect of MASH. I simply do not care.
He's the main lens we have through which we’re meant to see the show deal with religion, and I’m a bit annoyed that he comes off as a literal saint. That is not my preferable depiction of a catholic priest and the fact that he’s never taken to task is a crime for a show that is anti-establishment. I vaguely remember his superior clergymen being portrayed as corrupt and greedy on the rare occasion we hear or see them, but I don’t remember exactly (probably because I’m barely paying attention if there’s a Mulcahy subplot).
I’ll end by saying I have nothing against Mulcahy-enjoyers. These are just my feelings, which are informed by my life as an asian, ex-catholic. This isn’t an indictment of people who love the character. There’s certainly good things to be taken from him, I just don’t care to. I think it’s great that people corrupt him in fanfiction, but I tend not to seek it out because I’m not intrigued by how he is in the source.
Thanks for the question!

Hey! Glad to see a new obey me blog! For a request maybe the brothers and Simeon, Luke, Diavolo, and Barbatos react to a GN!MC who practices witchcraft but also Hellenic Polytheism (someone who worships and works with the Greek deities). If this is something you need help on like explaining wise Just shoot me a message!
DEMON BROS + UNDATEABLES WITH AN MC WHO PRACTICES WITCHCRAFT & HELLENIC POLYTHEISM.
i said i'd post tmrw but ig i lied bc i had a spontaneous burst of energy and felt bad promising i'd do this req earlier </3 also added solomon anyways since i felt bad leaving the local bastard man out 😞
LUCIFER
great, now we got two shady, magic-using humans running around the devildom.
all worries aside, it's probably for the better that you know/practice witchcraft so that you can protect yourself better here in the devildom.
just don't go pulling any pranks or he'll lecture you for five hours straight 🙄
on the other hand, i don't really think he cares about your religion - y'know, as long as you aren't worshipping his father, because then he'll be "a bit" salty.
probably met a few greek gods while he was an angel + hades a couple times during meetings before and after he came to the devildom so he's chill with your religion.
MAMMON
at first, he was on the verge of throwing a temper tantrum.
this human can take care of themself! why does he have to babysit them?!
not to mention he was lowkey scared hearing you did witchcraft because he didn't need another witch on his ass
once he warms up to you though, you guys go on all sorts of magical shenanigans together (like canonically anw lol).
you save his ass several times with your magic and although he won't say it aloud, he's eternally grateful you've helped him hide 60% of his schemes from luci.
when he hears about your religion, his first immediate reaction was to incorporate it into his schemes.
specifically, he'll ask you to do rituals and/or give offerings to his good ol' friend, hermes the greek gods on days he goes out gambling so he can have extra luck.
basically all around neutral about it <3
prolly snags you stuff from time to time that have to do with witchcraft or seem like good offerings.
LEVIATHAN
another one that'll ask you to do rituals/give offerings for good luck. he can't win those limited edition ruri-chan & luminous-chan figurines 100% all the time.
sometimes will join you in hopes to double his chances LMAO
as for witchcraft, i think he'd be glad you can protect yourself when it comes down to it.
he's happy to protect you and be your lord of shadows, of course, but he admires you for being so brave to find ways to ward off other demons by yourself.
"lolol look at this normie beating your ass with their magic! oh shit - henry, you can't fling them against the wall like that! this isn't harrison porter!!"
radiates "best friend, show 'em your moves" vibes 💀💀💀
SATAN
finally, a worthy comrade.
you two most likely instantly hit it off and he's more than happy to teach you any spell you want to know as long as you teach him stuff from the human world in return.
his brothers mainly lucifer always become test subjects for you two willingly or not.
doesn't mean you guys are getting off the hook that easily when something goes down.
be the voice of reason and spare lucifer, please.
always lends you wiccan/spell books and other similar works that remind him of you all the time.
magic lessons with satan & solomon!
now about your religion, he's intrigued.
he's never met any of the greek gods unlike his brothers, so he'll definitely read up on them to understand your practices more.
sometimes joins you in your rituals and it may or may not have become a habit.
it's all for scientific research - he swears.
ASMODEUS
doesn't think much of witchcraft but is glad you're able and at least interested in protecting yourself from nasty lesser demons.
goes out of his way to buy you fashionable accessories that have a witchy/cottagecore vibe to them if you're interested <3
happy overall though because now his two favorite humans get along so well!!!
y'know, as long as you don't leave him out >:(
now, religion time. he'll also bring you items and trinkets to give as offerings to the greek gods as he has nothing against them.
actually kind of has a friendly rivalry with aphrodite, so he's more than happy to chat up with her once in awhile and put in a good word for you.
BEELZEBUB
has no problem with your practices of witchcraft and religion as long as it isn't hurting anyone.
now if the offerings you give are food-related in any way, he might have to back out and politely excuse himself.
he wants to make you happy by joining you in your daily routines, but he's just so hungry and doesn't want to upset you by eating the offering.
so as long as it doesn't have anything to do with food, whether it's edible or not and you have a bunch of food for him too in preparation, he'd be more than ecstatic to join you.
most supportive babie boy <3
BELPHEGOR
depending on your level of experience in witchcraft, the whole attic thing (mainly you dying) could've never happened/been altered.
don't get me wrong - regardless of being the youngest, he's still a very powerful demon - but i think if you were a very experienced witch, you may or may not have had a 50/50 chance or more of holding out against his attack(s) until the brothers came to find you.
anywho, moving on, he's another one that's glad you're able to protect yourself. will sometimes join you and satan in your study sessions, but will fall asleep in your lap like a cat.
loves to have the formerly anti lucifer league prank, well, you guessed it, lucifer.
as for your religion, i'm pretty sure he's very indifferent about it. supports you and is amused, but doesn't really care since it doesn't hurt his feelings in any way?
tldr: please be the voice of reason & spare lucifer p2.
DIAVOLO
great! his two human exchange students can protect themselves!
loves to hear about the history of witchcraft and magic in the human world from you during tea dates or whenever you're over.
will help you whenever you get stuck on a spell and loves to see what you can do.
overall just v supportive and wholesome <3
still, once you're romantically involved, he'll be all for protecting you so that you won't have to think twice about resorting to protecting yourself with magic.
(you wouldn't even get messed with if you're dating the future king of the devildom but anywho)
fully supports you and your religion.
why wouldn't he? it would just be another nice step to take to create peace between the three realms.
totally helps you out with rituals and offerings. even joins in a lot or whenever he has the time.
is totally friends with hades and sees him as a father uncle figure, so be prepared to meet the one and only.
BARBATOS
has a more than fair share of knowledge on witchcraft and is more than happy to talk about it with you.
feels relieved that you're so comfortable here in the devildom and are able to take care of yourself.
once again, is another one who's pretty indifferent.
helps you set up rituals and gifts you offerings/trinkets like asmo.
as long as no harm comes from your practices, he's more than glad to watch you go about your daily routines and even partakes in them with you occasionally.
SIMEON
is also relieved to hear that you have basic knowledge on witchcraft & magic in general.
now he knows the bible condones witchcraft, but as long as you aren't hurting anyone, he doesn't have a problem with it.
mainly suggests you do white magic or at least grey magic, though. bible boy doesn't want you messing with things that could potentially hurt you or backfire, really.
he's more than happy to help you set up rituals and bring you offerings much like barb and asmo.
hell, if you visit purgatory hall often, it could become a daily thing for you two.
another incredibly dedicated and supportive boy <3
SOLOMON
much like satan, you two hit it off almost instantly.
you two visit each other pretty often exchanging knowledge on different spells and rituals.
the two of you are stuck together like mf glue much to the brothers' disappointment.
study dates with a max of four including you, solomon, satan, & occasionally belphie.
your rituals (religion-wise) have grown on him.
michael may or may not be upset but solomon here doesn't care JDKSJSK
always lends you wiccan/spell books and any other items you may need that remind him of you.
basically just a very understanding and supportive relationship <3
LUKE
starts admiring your abilities once he sees them in action (aka you protecting beel and him from luci that one time).
"woAHHH, MC, THAT WAS SO COOL!!"
beside michael & simeon plus lucifer, you're his number one role model.
no matter how small or big of a spell you practice or perform, he's always an awe.
lowkey disappointed he can't play guardian angel, but soon cheers up knowing it's better that you can protect yourself this way.
if you ever need any food-related offerings, he'd be more than happy to bake you some!
as long as beel doesn't sniff it out and get to him first 😰😰
obey me masterlist.

784.
Have you ever worn those Drunk Goggles? >> I vaguely remember seeing those as like a gag gift at Spencer’s or something, but I’ve never worn any. I’ve been drunk, though, so I think I’ve got the experience of wearing Drunk Goggles well covered.
Which decade before the 90s had the best makeup trends? >> I don’t know anything about makeup trends before the eighties, now that I think about it.
Can you agree to disagree, or usually get upset over conflicting views? >> I can be upset sometimes, especially if the thing being debated is something I have a particular personal investment in. But I have learned how to be upset by myself, and not make it anyone else’s problem. (Which leads to a lot of unresolved feelings, I’ve also learned, but hey.)
Does it bug you when long socks are constantly falling down? >> I don’t wear long socks, and that’s one reason why.
Rodeos – entertaining, or cruel? >> I don’t know anything about rodeos and therefore do not have an opinion.
Why can’t politicians debate politely? >> Because it’s assumed that the general public will not remain engaged unless there’s some sort of drama. ...Honestly, I can see where they get that impression, but it can also be alienating for those of us who aren’t looking for entertainment from our politicians.
Who is the best female rocker? Why? >> Floor Jansen is one of my favourites. So is Skin, from Skunk Anansie.
Can you even taste a difference between Cheez Its and Cheez Nips? >> I don’t know, I’ve not had both of them.
What about between Pepsi and Coke or Sprite and 7Up? >> Yeah, I’ve tasted differences between both of those and I have preferences.
Do you care what kind of toilet paper you use? >> Yes, I care. I don’t like either extreme (too rough or too soft).
What color of roses do you find the prettiest? >> I’ve never given it any consideration.
Which celebrity has the cutest butt? >> I don’t know. But Sarah Snook, who plays Siobhan Roy on Succession, has a pretty eye-catching booty.
Do you still have any decent arcades nearby? >> Not to my knowledge.
After a holiday, do you go to the store to get candy on sale? >> No, but I might get some for Sparrow.
Did Marilyn Monroe look better before or after cosmetic surgery? >> ---
Bullfighters who get gored kind of had it coming, right? >> I mean, yeah.
If you make surveys, do you care what people rate them? >> I don’t make them, but if I did, that wouldn’t be a concern of mine. The only time I’m tempted to make a survey is because there are questions that it surprises me that no one ever asks, and that I’d love to answer myself. So I’d be making it for my benefit, primarily, and if anyone else enjoys it then that’s just icing on an already-good cake.
Have you ever accidentally found porn when looking for something else? >> Yeah, but it doesn’t happen much nowadays.
Ever run into those ‘celebrity lookalike porn’ blogs? >> Long time ago, yeah. You know, before tumblr changed its policy.
If you’re not religious, is the Bible basically just an old collection of short stories? >> My understanding of the Bible is that it’s a collection of laws and writings -- stories, poetry, letters, op-ed pieces (lol). The New Testament in particular seems to be just a bunch of letters appended to four different accounts of one dude’s birth and early life and concluded with a really dramatic callout post for the Roman Empire. I am very fond of this giant mishmosh of opinions and dramatically-recounted stories, tbh, it’s really interesting from both a historical and mythological perspective.
Do you think religious leaders just like to manipulate people? >> Of course.
Why do so many fans with OTP’s insist that their ship is real? Even when the writers (or real people that they ship) tell them it isn’t? >> I don’t know. I’ve never really delved into why that’s so important to a lot of fans, although it does intrigue me. I think it might have something to do with the varieties of ways in which people interact with and understand stories, but I’m not able to articulate exactly what I mean right now, I don’t have the words all organised in my brain and ready to go.
Do you draw fanart of anything? >> No, I don’t draw. I write fan fiction.
Do annoying city kids ever loiter outside your library and harass people? >> I’ve never witnessed any harassment outside of a library around here. That seems more likely to have happened in NYC, though.
Do you like to hang out at your local library? >> Occasionally. I used to basically live at the library when I was in the City, because I was homeless. I think I don’t go to the library as often anymore because of that -- it’s registered in my mind as “the place you go and sit in all day because you can’t go anywhere else” and it disorients me if I do it now.
On that subject, do you like the smell of books? >> Some books.
What’s on your Reading List, so-to-speak, right now? >> I’m between books right now. I’m still debating whether I want to try to finish The Denial of Death or whether I want to give it up for now, and the fact that I’ve been debating that for like a week most likely means that I should give it up. I can always pick it up again at a later date.
Read any great non-fiction books lately? >> Sure.
What do you like on your burger? >> Lettuce, onion, bacon, mustard or bbq sauce, some kind of cheese (preferably pepper jack). Jalapeño peppers can be good too.
What do you NOT like on your burger? >> Mayo, sometimes tomato (I go back and forth, it just depends on the day).
Do you like ‘loose meat’ sandwiches? >> I’m not sure what that is, but the name isn’t too enticing, let me tell you.
Have you ever heard of the restaurant Maid Rite? >> No.
What is the best thing to put in a grilled cheese (other than cheese)? >> I don’t even remember what things I like in a grilled cheese, I haven’t had one in ages. Oh! HopCat sells one that has honey and apple in it and that’s pretty good. I do like “weird” grilled cheeses.
Homemade tomato soup, or just out of a can? >> Not out of a can, that’s for sure. There are some premade ones that I do like, but they’re never canned (usually they’ll come in cartons).
Favorite thing to see in museums? >> I like sci-tech museums, so, that stuff.
Have you ever seen an unwrapped mummy in person? >> No.
What things have people shamed you for? >> The kind of music I like, the kind of people I think are pretty, the way I look, the way I behave/my idiosyncrasies, my emotional responses, my needs... I mean, basically almost anything you can think of.
Do you always reply to private messages? (On any website) >> I usually do.
What device do you seem to always be buying batteries for? >> I don’t think anything I currently use takes disposable batteries.
What’s worse – snow, or all the mud after it melts? >> Definitely the latter.
Are there any 'adult stores’ in your area? >> Probably. Not in this city proper, but like... around. Somewhere.
Have you been inside of them/shopped there before? >> I’ve been to a lot of them in NYC.
Do you watch The Masked Singer? Any theories? >> No.
Favorite Alfred Hitchcock film? >> I don’t have one.
Do you like Funko Pop figurines? >> Meh. The novelty wears off pretty quickly.
If so, do you have any? Which ones would you like to have? >> Yeah, having a few is how I know the novelty wears off pretty quickly, hah. I have two Marvel!Heimdalls (from two different movies), a Roland and a Walter from the Dark Tower movie, Jesse and Cassidy from the Preacher TV show, Lucio and Reaper from Overwatch, and Vivec from The Elder Scrolls. I actually had to go looking in the living room because I’d forgotten I had that many. That’s another few items for the donation / giveaway bin...
Which ones do you think they should make (but haven’t yet)? >> At this point, I think they should stop, lmao. There are so fucking many.

Camila Cifuentes, 18 Personality: Eccentric, always sleepy. Likes shiny things.
Camila lived in a distant area of the town, and her family wasn’t politically or directly involved, which is why she experienced the civil war in an indirect way. A lot of bodies were thrown near to where she used to play, and she started stealing from them: watches, necklaces, hair pins, etc. She once witnessed the murder of a priest and picked up his books and bible afterwards.
She became interested in spirituality, life after death, and learned by collecting books from corpses left from the church, without really believing in their god. Her curiosity expanded fast, and she learned about spirituality and magic.
When the civil war ended and she got back to school, she hated classes and spent most time in the back of the building, reading books and helping girls with love spells. She convinced a group to try possession, and with the help of her books, they all lived a pretty much positive experience that helped them view the past. When they came back to normal, all of them vomited a dark substance, that Cami kept in jars to study later. Interested in obtaining more of it, she convinced her classmates to continue with the parties, and accumulated a lot of it.
Camila is known for having bad grades, hanging out with the bad kids and being intimidating for coming up with cruel pranks and scaring people off with horror stories. She gets confronted by Dani and Fabian, but they negotiate to help each other. Still, her knowledge and antagonism for Gabriel and outsiders grow. She believes souls should be purified to release energy, not condensing it in solid matter. Accepting death and tragedy is part of spiritual growth, and she values the consequence of what happened as an important part in the path to transcend.
In the course of the story, her power becomes so intense that she's able to communicate with some dead souls, and give shape to them as solid black matter, in the shape of small children. They're her assistants too, and she refers to them as her sons.
Long story:
Beliefs: She thinks that things beyond human reach shouldn't be challenged. She also believes that accepting death and tragedy is part of the course of things, because pain lets you feel love as well and be more human. She validates the painful experiences in her town and values something immaterial: people’s feelings and ideas. Death is important and should be respected, what really matters is what comes after you die for your soul, but also what happens to the people you left behind. She thinks Gabriel is too materialistic and foolish.
Story: The civil war started when Camila was still too young, and their parents weren't politically involved in any side, plus she lived in a rural side of the town, so she was mostly isolated from the whole thing. But because it was an isolated area, corpses where often thrown nearby, and she often found them when playing behind trees. She started a game where she would follow the piles to find an actual, real time murder, and she did. One day, she heard something and found a priest who was about to be shot by a soldier. The priest was stressed, but managed to smile and ask the soldier if he could take the bandage off his eyes, to forgive his soul before he killed him, that they would once again find each other in the future, and that he wanted peace. The soldier was shaking but shot him anyway. The man stayed there, and so did Cami, who only entered the scene when there was no one left. She stole the priests' bag of books, and a ring from his finger.
Her family wouldn't answer her questions about the killings no matter how much she insisted, so she had a more indirect approach to it by studying the books in the priest's bag. His determination intrigued her, and she spent long hours staring at his golden, shiny ring too. She thought that objects remained beautiful even after death, when no one could appreciate them.
Since then, she started exploring corpses to collect jewelry, coins, books. She paid special attention to the books that talked about life after death, matter, and things that were eternal. She learned a few good tricks that left her neighbors impressed, but she only accepted thank you in objects that were beautiful, or in books.
Camila entered school after the civil war and showed some arrogance and disinterest for school duties: all their learning seemed too fabricated, and they never mentioned the war in History class. This made her skip class a lot and spend her time kicking rocks behind the building, and sometimes practiced her embrujos. Soon, some of the students approached her with curiosity, and she started a business with them, this time: helping them with amarres, embrujos, amuletos, etc. She still had a bad attitude with them, considering most of their requests to be stupid or shallow. But it was entertaining, and it gave her some extra money.
When she learned about possessions and subjection to spirits, she decided to try it with a couple of girls who befriended her. The girls described the experience as something incredible they never felt before. Camila tried it too but prepared herself with jewels and amulets. It also turned out well, and when they finished, all of them vomited a strange, black liquid. Camila saved it in a jar, with the names of the girls attached.
This was the start of the occultist parties, it had the same effect of most drugs: it was usually safe, but if someone was in a strange mental state, or if someone already developed spiritual connections, the chances of getting lost in it were pretty high. She gave instructions to her classmates, but most didn't listen. Despite that, a few of them felt intrigued and had meetings with Camila, where she told them about her collection of objects and the high chances of bringing back spirits from the civil war because they were the most recent in their history
Camila told them the high levels of resentment in them gave the town dense spiritual energy, and that they should reconnect with their history, not use the intrusion to alienate themselves. She learned more magic, learning how to give form to the black vomit, and increase the intensity of possessions and connection with spirituality.
She meets Fabian and Dani when they confront her about the parties, they fight (lol) but later she replies it's out of her control now and that she can help them as long as they give her their charged black vomit. They agree, and Fabian becomes her friend, often learning about her magic. When Fabian and Dani find the missing students, they bring them back to Cami and she's able to restore their identities if they collect the ingredients for her potions.
In the story, Cami becomes more immersed in the world of spirits, rejecting the presence of demons for finding them impure. She supports the historical existence of the resentment in spirits of war crimes, but thinks they should not be revived, but to be passed to the next life. This antagonizes her beliefs with Gabriel's, who believes making justice means bringing them back to life. They become enemies and manipulate Fabian and Dani to use their bodies as the receptor of spiritual resentment, in the case of Cami, and to sacrifice them to cannibal rituals, in the case of Gabriel.
Cami's power becomes so intense she's able to communicate with some dead souls, and give shape to them as solid black matter, in the shape of small children. They're her assistants too, and she refers to them as her sons.
-She has repeated the same grade 3 times because bad girl.

If you've ever been to a concert, how old were you and who did you see?: I’ve been to a few concerts, so which one are we talking about? My first one was in high school. Do you prefer music to be meaningful and deep, or purely for dancing/fun?: I like both. Is there a song or artist that you secretly enjoy, but don't want to enjoy?: No.
If you could only listen to music from one decade, which would you choose?: Maybe the 90s. Or early 2000s. Ooh, that’s tough... Has your parents taste in music in any way affected what you like?: Yeah. I like a lot of music they listened to while I was growing up. We like a lot of the same stuff, especially my mom and I. You're looking for some new music - what's your preferred way to discover?: Typically through Spotify. Do you still own any CD's/records/tapes?: I have 2 CDs I forgot I still had until recently. Let's talk about what you don't discuss at Sunday brunch Do you identify with any organized religion?: Christianity. If so - is it how you were raised, or have you found your own?:  Well, my parents aren’t religious so they didn’t raise me with any particular one. My grandparents, on the other hand, were. My maternal grandparents were Jehovah’s Witnesses (I say were because they’ve passed away) and my paternal grandparents are Christians. Both tried to push their views and beliefs on me and tell me that their religion was the right one. I went to meetings (what Jehovah’s Witnesses call church) and to church with them sometimes. Due to all that, I was confused and also didn’t like being told what to believe, so I didn’t believe at all for a large part of my life. It wasn’t until about 5 years ago that began to change and I became open to it. Almost 3 years ago now I started reading the Bible and became a Christian. Do you think that marijuana should be legalized?: Yes. If so, would that be for medical use only, or recreational?: Do what you want, but my thinking about it is the medicinal aspect. Are you happy with the political state where you reside?: It’s a mess right now. Should abstinence or sex education be taught in schools?: Sex education. Have you read the book 13 Reasons Why or watched the show?: Both. Should shows like this be available to everyone or could it be a trigger?: I mean it should be available, yeah. You’re not forced to watch it. You know yourself best, so if you think it’ll be triggering than don’t watch. They also did a good job at putting warnings before the episodes. Okay, let's simmer down. Back to happy things. Do you like animals?:  Yes. If so, do you have any pets?:  I do. I have an adorable, sweetie pie of a dog named Princess Leia. She’s a German Shepherd/Lab mix. What is your favorite day of the week and why?: They’re really all the same to me. Do you have a favorite season?: Fall and winter. How do you enjoy nice scents? By smelling them? Do you live in a large city or small town?: It’s big. Are you happy with that or would you like to change it?: That part doesn’t bother me, it’s other things. Do you have any children?: Nooo. Are there any colors that you think compliment you?: I like to wear black. Do you enjoy cleaning or find it to be a chore?: I definitely don’t enjoy it. What is your absolute favorite food?: Ha, that’ll change from week to week to be honest. I get on these kicks where I’ll really be into something and want it all the time and then next thing ya know it’s something else. Lately it’s been turkey with salami sandwiches with mayo, mustard, and  olive oil with this Italian herb mix seasoning mixed in, pasta salads I get from the grocery store deli, breakfast burritos, and Ramen. I’ve had all of these foods everyday for the past week lol. I’ve also had some really good pizza a couple times in the past week.
If you were any color, what would you be?:  Hmm. Do you spend a lot of time on social networks?: I check my Facebook and Twitter a few times a day, but I don’t spend a lot of time on it at a given time. I just scroll through for a bit. I spend the most time on Tumblr, but I don’t know if that’s considered a social network.
