redder than the devil by mercutionotromeo (E, 5K) This short fic has so many kinks and so much smut that I probably could add it to 10 different rec lists. I love this author and hope they keep gifting us with their writing.

Never Never Never Stop for Anyone (Sheylinsonverse) by aimmyarrowshigh, spibsy (lucy_and_ramona) (E, 10 work series, 439K) Yes, here I am again, putting this series on a list. Probably 10 people in this fandom like it as much as I do, but I don’t care. I have read all 440K words more than once, and will likely do it a few more times. Yes, it needs editing, but even so…really well written, super sexy (if you like reading BDSM and can handle Larry + someone else), and such interesting character development. One of my favorite things about this fic is how the authors differentiate between the ways the different characters inhabit their Dom and Sub personalities.

in the rough by karamelised (E, 7K) This is part of a 5-part series and while it’s not necessary to read the first two, it would make it better. However, this one is the only one bookmarked with overstimulation and it’s sexy and smart and this author just always writes a great fic.

do you know me by heart by HappyPrincess / @pattern-pals (E, 7K) Read the tags on this one because it’s really visceral, raw, and real. The writing was intense in the best of ways, but this is not a fluffy fic.

come and lay down your shoulder by HappyPrincess / @pattern-pals (E, 4K) This was such a nice mix of sadness, neediness, and being with someone who understands you and whom you understand. Like, you know them so well, even if you’re not together anymore.

No Sweeter Innocence Than Our Gentle Sin by Teumessian (E, 14K) Harry, Louis, Zayn. I read this so long ago that I don’t recall specifics, but I like a few fics from this author and my original notes sum it up as, “Um. Holy shit. So fucking hot.“ HAHAHAHA!

trusting things beyond mistake by sarcasticfluentry (E, 10K) This author is always a sure bet for me, and their smut is always super hot. I love the way Louis gets pulled in to "helping" Harry in this one

You'll Breathe Me In (You Won't Release) by LoadedGunn (E, 95K) Also known as The Driving Instructor fic. This has some of the best pacing I’ve read in a fic, some really well written BDSM smut, and characters I just really enjoy. I know it’s not for everyone. Read the tags.

know you got that thing (that i like) by lightseep (E, 16K) This is moody and so well-written and really fucking sexy.

kiss with a fist (is better than none) by orphan_account (E, 7K) Although it’s been orphaned, it was originally written by Ashtarok whose work I always have liked. I really enjoyed the dynamic in this one and the smut is top notch.

2012 'Verse by ashavahishta (E, 5-part series, 102K) This is a canon series all set and written in 2012. The overstimulation takes place in the 5th chapter, but this author is just good and especially if you like canon, it’s worth a read.

my one and own (i wanna get you alone) by beautlouis (E, 6K) My notes are completely unhelpful because all they say is, “hot af”. So, I took one for the team and reread it. I was right. Hot af. LOL! But really, I love how Louis gently teases an absolutely wrecked Harry throughout this.

The thing about Bingqiu is, you're probably right about LBH having many possibilities for love interests although it saddens me a little that in this aspect Bingqiu aren't like Hualian or Wangxian because no matter what circumstances or AU, you could hardly find a better partner for either of them. Wangxian and Hualian are IT for eo while SY is replaceable. Wangxian and Hualian are inevitable while Bingqiu is not. Idk, I love them that's why it makes me sad.

Happy to reply to your asks, anon! 💗 That’s a very interesting perspective actually. Although while some could find it disconcerting, I personally think it’s amazing to see such variety. I also think Bingqiu is less of a “one-time deal” than you think, OP (at least, I like to headcanon in every universe or timeline, there is a Shen Yuan for Luo Binghe—because that’s a romantic thought so long as it’s not a terrible AU LBH). Or as the more extreme diehard Bingjiu fans put it, a SJ for every Luo Binghe. The other ships like Bingjiu (this could be argued) and LQG/LBH are fanon, but Bingqiu is presented in SVSSS as a fated match (it just took a whole lotta misunderstandings to reach that point; whew, what a huge “love trial!”)

Hmm, so these are just some more of my personal thoughts on the MXTX ship(s): I wish Bingqiu was as popular and accepted as Hualian and Wangxian, but SVSSS is supposedly the least well-known out of the three despite its seniority. Out of all her works so far (at the time of this post, we have not yet heard more information of her upcoming fourth novel), I think the Bingqiu ship is a little less clear cut because, and this is no fault of her own, one party is a modern man who’d transmigrated into another man’s body. This identity theft/body snatching muddles somethings and raises questions for a few readers; furthermore, MXTX did not write a scene revealing the truth of SY’s transmigration in the main story and in the extras—which I feel could help this couple feel “authentic” and “deserved.” In MDZS and TGCF, there is no imposter syndrome or transmigration throwing a monkey wrench into the relationship. It’s pretty clear cut. In SVSSS, the relationship thusly can feel a little...I hate to use this word, but it can come across as “disingenuous.” Which is a shame because we see Shen Yuan as SQQ say such romantic lines like these near the end of the book (ugh, my heart 💘):

The second he flipped open ‘Proud Immortal Demon Way,’ the story officially began; the moment he closed ‘Proud Immortal Demon Way,’ the story still remained unfinished.

Or, in other words, the story that circulated among the people of the world has already come to an end. But, the story between you and me has only just begun. (—SVSSS)

But, for context though, under the assumption some of you guys aren’t super familiar with transmigration trope (I’d binged almost the entire genre of transmigration stories from translated light novels to transmigration manhuas/manhwa/and isekai manga at the height of my obsession...it’s literally one of my new favorite genre tags), there are only a handful of works where the main character admits to being a modern wo/man who’d transmigrated into another person’s body in whichever fictional work belonging to the premise. It’s unusual to see them reveal that information. Why?

Because the main character knows they would be called crazy or be looked at with worried/ sympathetic looks (if you tell someone who’s alive and breathing that you came from a different world from another time, and that they were fictional characters or NPCs in your previous world, they would naturally think you’ve either gone mad or are temporarily delusional/confused or have a wild imagination and are playing a joke on them)

Revealing such info could lead to dangerous situations like an unstable universe or to its collapse (some other transmigration works have done this), or their own lives being threatened (like the fear of the character’s loved ones realizing their child/lover/whomever was replaced by the soul of a stranger) in a strange and unfamiliar world that they were uprooted into

Sometimes the System strictly forbids it

Sometimes the MC is willing to discard their previous identity (oftentimes plain or boring or overworked/ stressed or financially troubled) and start over as a new identity, so they essentially disown their mundane past and wholeheartedly embrace their new role

It’s more of the norm to see the main character embrace their new role aka this new identity in the new world. So it’s not so strange to me that Shen Qingqiu never admitted to being Shen Yuan in canon to Luo Binghe. (Plus, I doubt the System would even allow him to, because his true identity and the knowledge that there is another world out there is confidential fourth-wall-breaking information that a book character like the protagonist should not be privy to.)

Another thing that is different is that in TGCF, we find out Hua Cheng/ San Lang was head over heels for Xie Lian from start to finish (my gosh, all time biggest simp & the world record holder for the most patient love and devotion that has lasted for practically so long 😭 he really is his most devoted believer). In MDZS, the romance between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian is also pretty clearcut (oh gosh, Lan Wangji, when we find out how much he cares for WWX, ugh, my heeeeeart). In SVSSS, Luo Binghe started out as a sweet, devoted disciple in the first half of the story (embodying the “white lotus” archetype) who then blackened in the second half of the story (I know some people don’t like to see LBH being typecast as a yandere, but his actions—while influenced by Xin Mo—highkey reminded me of a yandere at that time) and we nervously read his interactions with Shen Qingqiu until the penultimate conclusion. And then in the extras we see them bonding and even getting married! MXTX was definitely trying to show post-main story that Bingqiu is a happy relationship and is OTP.

And another thing I’ve noticed is there is no real alt. ship competition compared to the canon ship in both MDZS (although technically it can be argued JC/WWX is one such competition, but...I mean, it’s easy to see why people ship it, especially since fanfiction allows us to play with so many different possibilities) and TGCF (I mean, technically I can see Xie Lian with...oh god, I’ve also seen quite a few alternative ships (as you can see, anon, I’m quite the open-minded reader, even if I do have my favorites...which tend to be the canon couple of whichever fictional work) and some of them were intriguing, but I ship Hualian hardcore. For SVSSS, while I also ship Bingqiu hardcore, I also like Bingyuan (Binggeyuan), but it’s also interesting to see the other alternative ships in the fandom. Bingqiu still dominates the fandom in the end (as do all canon couples in all fandoms).

Since it’s canon OTP, I personally don’t see SY as “replaceable.” MXTX is pretty clear about her couples all having their red strings of fate (Wangxian, Hualian, and Bingqiu). Bingqiu was still the canon endgame OTP in SVSSS. SVSSS is indeed MXTX’s first work (I could see why it’s considered rough around the edges), but the build up to the romance, to the “Oh” moment, are different from the setup in MDZS and TGCF where the main characters had good romantic sexual chemistry. LWJ and WWX were mutually in love with each other (the subtle gestures and the overt ones). Xie Lian also wasn’t afraid to bond and inevitably reciprocate Hua Cheng’s/San Lang’s affections. With SY!SQQ...in SVSSS, SY spends a good first half and almost half of the second half of the book oblivious to LBH’s crush on him, and we read SY vehemently declaring himself a straight man. Yet it’s the littlest actions he does that show how much he cares for LBH. He’s also an unreliable narrator, lol. But that’s where the humor comes from: the misunderstandings. SVSSS is mostly comedy and satire/parody/genre deconstruction imo making fun of established Chinese fan culture norms; romance is included but I don’t think it’s SVSSS’ focus. The romance here is so much less...”overt” (I’m not sure what word would work here) than MXTX’s other works and we have to rely on subtext (like how SY, himself, a man, poetically describing another man’s eyes—LBH—as obsidian starry night skies SY, so hella romantic 🙄 and him mentioning over and over again how attractive LBH is like, SY, we get it, LOL, and him throwing himself into life-threatening situations for LBH like saving his life even though he knows LBH has plot armor from his protagonist’s halo). I really like the first half of SVSSS and chapter(s) near the end, and the extras personally. I think they show more of the happy ship dynamic (the tragic middle is hard for me to reread multiple times without me feeling like an incurable M).

I do appreciate that MXTX must have belatedly instinctively realized with her writer’s instincts (or she heard feedback) that she needed to show a bit more of the Bingqiu relationship after the main story was done to show that, yes, troublesome things did happen but this is the endgame couple for a reason and they’re happy together. So I’m appreciative for the extras.

While she does leave things a bit open to interpretation (lol, such as LQG’s misunderstanding in the succubus extra; I joke that LQG is like the typical second ML—since the 2nd ML in Chinese works never gets “the girl” over the protagonist despite being qualified), she did write the succubus extra where Madam Meiyin checked Shen Qingqiu’s love fortune. While it could be argued that since this was Shen Qingqiu’s body, her divination was Shen Jiu’s life story essentially—particularly the past—but you also see ambiguous passages like this:

Madam Meiyin examined it for quite some time, and her expression became increasingly solemn as time passed.

Perplexed, she said, “Immortal Master, my learnings must’ve been too shallow, for this red line of your past seemed a little… …unclear. When I first observed it, it seemed like you were destined to be alone. However, when I take a closer look, I can see a very faint line of marriage.” (—SVSSS)

I always like writers who leave things open to interpretation^. In this case, Madam Meiyin made a weird expression when she was reading out Shen Qingqiu’s love fortune. I headcanon this was the System interfering with her divination, because this is an NPC. Shen Yuan, a modern man, transmigrated into the cannon fodder villainous NPC. She of course wouldn’t be able to see Shen Yuan’s past (that’d be breaking the fourth wall) so the muddling is essentially the System’s censorship in play. But she does hint at Shen Qingqiu’s (SY) destined lover essentially—and her descriptions seems to be pretty clear to the audience that she’s talking about Luo Binghe being the person at the other end of the red string of fate. (Although, lol, LQG’s misunderstanding, hahaha. And SY’s obliviousness, dear lord. I want to facepalm and laugh simultaneously.)

Haha, don’t worry. I think we’re pretty much all suckers for lifetime romances. I think it’s also fun to see all the different fanon ships in all of MXTX’s works (that’s the beauty of fanfiction) but the canon ship is canon.

what little thing instantly tells you that a person is good? oh i have no clue. i suppose the first thing i evaluate is their sense of humor? like obviously that doesn’t immediately pick out the good apples, but it can sift through some bad ones, like if their “humor” is just bullying.

do you have a recurring dream? not coherently recurring, but i have a lotta recurring anxiety dreams, like being late, being naked, being visually different/deformed/disguised, being chased.... i should analyze these but I Do Not Want To

how often do you find yourself daydreaming? not a lot, really? I feel like at somepoint in the last few years, my imagination switched off. I’ve been throwing myself back into others’ stories to sort of repair those brain pathways.

there's this author in my country, Bob Ong, i think he's pretty much the most mainstream author we have and i fucking love his books. i've only read 2 of them (so far) abnkkbsnplako?! and stainless longganisa but i fucking loved them. they are so relatable n honest n FUNNY n smart n truthful n emotionally resonant. they're basically memoirs n rando thoughts about school and writing. but i honestly really really loved them

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover - whew holy shit this book was a doozy for me. one, she's like only the 2nd fem author i've read (i'm not much of a reader if i'm being honest, dont have the patience for it), it is such an emotional love story with great characters and it had me saying i love you to the loved ones in my life after reading it (but that may or may not have to do with the fact that i just have a lotta repressed emotions that this book, and sleep deprivation from binging it, managed to wring out of me haha). it's also pretty funny n quirky n cool n haha it's the first time i read a sex scene that wasn't on fanfic haha

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler irl) - i. love. these. books. they are so freaking smart and funny and amusing and lemony snicket's voice is just so effing good. i havent read all of them tho. an unfortunate mistake that i still feel guiltyabout to this day haha lol

Last song listened to: when i first started answering this, it was Euphoria by uhh jung kook is it? tbh i only listened to it cus kat and ethan's romantic confession was literal goals haha. but then i listened to vacation by the gogos while writing this probs cus i was lssing to it after ffh haha

Toward a new beginning

Karl Heisenberg x Gender Neutral Reader

A/N:

So this takes place in a world where to save Y/N's life, Heisenberg sped up his army production and defeated Miranda, with some help, before the events of Resi 8.

It's been a few months since Miranda was defeated and a lot has changed for Karl and Y/N. The couple has an important goal in mind. To leave the village and live peacefully on a large piece of land, but to get to their goal, they'll need a lot of money. So the pair had an idea.

Karl recycled all of his remaining army, besides Sturm, Y/N had grown fond of them. With all the excess of materials just sitting there, The pair decided to put it to good use. They started an online business, with Y/N handling the website details, making and selling all sorts of things. Karl made metal based objects, ranging from everyday items, like tableware, tools, and keys, to more collector items, like swords and axes. Y/N found their own way to pitch in.

Their business has been slowly gaining popularity, but it would be a while before they could reach their goal. Regardless the pair kept looking forward, even Karl managed to stay positive, with Y/N's support of course. And on off days, Karl was always there by Y/N's side.

At the moment, the couple are outside, loading a wagon with boxes. "How many more boxes are there?" Y/N asks loading the lighter boxes on top of the heavier ones as they sit on the side wall of the wagon. Karl tosses them a small box, Y/N catches it and places it carefully in the pile.

"A lot more" Karl answers. "We've been getting a whole lotta business" He starts another row of the heavier boxes.

Y/N sighs contently. "It won't be long till we got a nice place out on a countryside"

"No one for miles to bother us" Karl adds smiling."We still got a ways to go, but we'll get there, pup"

After about 20 more minutes of loading the wagon they finally finished. "Whew, finally done." Y/N stretches their arms. Karl opens his arms and motions them to come to him. Y/N carefully balances on top of the wagon wall then jumps on the tailgate. Karl picks them up by the waist and holds them against his chest. He moves his hands to Y/N's rear and lower back.

Y/N leans in and rests their forehead on Karl's. The two stare at each other's eyes. "I've never laid eyes on anyone even close to as attractive as you."

"You haven't seen a lot of people then" Y/N jokes.

"Don't have to, I just know it, pup. No one compares to you." Karl sighs happily. "Can't imagine what someone as amazing as you, sees in me"

"Don't say that, you're a great man. Underneath that tough swearing shell is a caring softie, a stubborn one might I add, but caring nonetheless." Y/N laughs lightly.

"Shut" Karl feigns annoyance.

"Make me~" Y/N challenges him. "Bet you can't-" Their taunting is cut short as Karl presses a kiss to their lips. The kiss is rough at first but eases into a sweet gentleness that leaves Y/N begging for more once Karl pulls away.

Karl smirks. "You're real quiet now." Y/N opens their mouth to say something, but Karl takes that chance to lean into another kiss as he slips his tongue into Y/N's mouth.

Y/N moans quietly as Karl easily overpowers them and roams his tongue freely into his lovers mouth. Y/N slides their hands up across Karl's chest and to the back of his neck. One hand rests there, pulling him closer to deepen the kiss. The other hand roams higher, tugging at Karl's hair.

Karl leans his head back and licks his lips. Y/N looks at him completely speechless. Karl laughs. "Nothing else to say, pup?" Y/N pouts.

They move their hands to cup Karl's face. They fiddle with his beard as they try to think of a comeback. "You're too damn cute" Karl whispers. Y/N's face grows pink. They try to form words, but end up burying their face in Karl's chest. He laughs and hugs them as he puts them down. "I love you"

"I love you too" Y/N whispers.

Safe in my arms

Brahms Heelshire x Gender Neutral Reader

A storm lingers over the Heelshire Manor.

A/N: I am completely aware that my story Exits in the Mirror is next on my to do list, but I've been thinking of Brahms a lot. Simp brain wins. Also, look at me slowly learning how to format fics. My description could be better tho <_<

The rain pounded against the windows of the Heelshire manor. The loud booming sound of thunder complimented the dances of lightning across the sky. There was no semblance of the sun or bright blue sky. Just a ceiling of dark clouds as far as the eyes could see.

The thunder was loud, even in the comforts of the manor. Inside the walls were especially loud. Sounds bounced off and echod, driving out the resident in the walls.

You were in one of the many hallways of the mansion, doing your regular cleaning. You were dusting off one of the hall tables when you were suddenly engulfed by a pair of arms. Brahms buried his head in the back of your neck. His body shook against your back.

"Brahms are you ok? What happened?" You ask worriedly as you spun around to hold him against your chest. He only sniffled in response as he buried his face in your shirt. A loud crack of thunder roared outside. Brahms jolts and clutched your body tighter. You understand what's going on now. He's afraid of thunder. You rubbed his back soothingly. "Shh, it's ok, im here."

You lead him to the kitchen to grab some snacks, stoping occasionally to comfort him. Then you took him to your room. You moved the comforter and lead him onto the bed. Gently you covered him under the blanket. You peek inside the little blanket fort and slide the snacks inside. "Dont touch them yet, I'll join you in a bit." Brahms pouts, but complies. You move away and rummage your room for your ipod. Once you find it you join Brahms under the covers.

Brahms had his hands held tight against his ears as he shook to the noise outside. You cup his face, stroking his beard. "Im here now, you're safe." Brahms swung his arms around you. You wrap your arms around him. You push him away a little to kiss his forehead. "I got something for you, my love"

Brahms smiled and leaned forward as you brought your ipod out of your pocket. "What is it?" He asked curiously as he fidgets in place.

"It's an ipod, you can listen to music with it" you explained as you placed the earbuds in his ears. You look through the playlists on your ipod until finally you find the one you were looking for. A smile formed on Brahms face as he listened to the music. You showed him how to change the volume and hand him the ipod. He fidgets with it as he leans against your side. You offered him snacks, he took most some of them without hesitation. You wrapped your arm around him and leaned up to place a kiss on his temple.

The storm stuck around for a while, but Brahms didn't notice as he ate and enjoyed the music. By the time the storm passed, Brahms was already asleep, his head resting on your lap. You took off the earbuds and moved the ipod, and remaining snacks out of the way. You laid down and carefully brought his sleeping form to you. You held onto him as he slowly clung to you in his sleep.

"You're safe in my arms." You whispered falling asleep.

Little Moments

You stretch as you finally return home from work. You set your stuff down on the dining table, and take your phone out to pause the music you had been listening to on the drive home. You feel something off in the house. Was it too quiet? Too still? Or were you just stressed from a long day at work? You shake your head, dismissing your thoughts.

You go to your room. Everything is just as you left it. Nothing out of place. Nothing to be concerned about. You collect your pajamas, and head to the bathroom. On the way there, you feel like you're being watched. Like prey. The ceiling light in the room closest to the bathroom flickers. You pick up speed and waste no time getting in the bathroom.

When the water hits your skin you flinch. It's ice cold. You check the temperature knob. It's pointed between hot and cold, leaning more towards hot. You stand there and wait. Maybe it needs more time to warm up? After a good 5 minutes, you realize the water isn't getting any warmer. You sigh, and continue your cold shower.

Once out and dressed you go to the garage and check the water thermostat. The knob is right where it's supposed to be. You feel a chill run up your spine. Your muscles tighten. Is that breathing behind you? You find yourself unable to turn around, frozen in place. You eventually slowly look behind you. Nothing. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine? There's nothing to be afraid of.

You run out of the garage and into the kitchen. You go to the sink and turn on the hot water. It's nice and warm, like your shower should have been. You sigh. You really didn't want deal with this right now.

You glance at the time on the microwave. 12:33 AM. Your partner isn't home yet. Although he tends to come home even later than that. His...job can be dangerous. It's rare for him to get hurt, but you cant help but worry anyways.

Right as you leave the kitchen you suddenly get pushed against the wall. You close your eyes as you feel a hand on your throat. It's tight, but you can still breath. When nothing happens you open your eyes. Instantly you pout.

Right infront of you your lover, the love of your life, the stars to your galaxy has you pinned to the wall after scaring the living hell out of you. Then suddenly everything makes sense.

"Michael Myers i swear to fuck!" He tilts his head, releasing his hold on your neck. You hate that little head tilt. It's just so cute and innocent looking. You feel your anger subside. You sigh. You rest your head on his chest and wrap your arms around his waist. He stiffen a little. "Not after i come home from work, please." He relaxes and lets his arms go limp to his sides.

He nudges at your arm after a while. You let go and step back. Michael is as tall and as intimidating as ever, but you've long since grown comfortable with his presence. Luckily his jumpsuit isn't stained with any fresh blood, so you don't have to change clothes. You realize you've been staring at him longer than you thought when he tilts his head at you. You love that head tilt of his.

You pull at his hand gently. He lets you pull him along to the living room. You go to sit down, but instead Michael scoops you up and sits on the couch, with you on his lap. You open your mouth to ask him for the remote, but he's already shoving it in your hands. You turn on the tv and flip through the channels until you find something you like.

Michael leans back into the dent he's left in the couch after years of use. He pulls you into his chest. You hear him take off his mask and toss it aside. You look up and plant a kiss on his chin. He holds you tighter and rests his head on yours. You can feel his body relax under you.

"I love you, Michael." You whisper. He kisses the top your head. You smile. You love times like these. Soft and gentle moments. It really makes you forget what he does every night. You shake those thoughts away and focus on now. His warmth, his breathing, his heartbeat. You completely relax and find yourself falling asleep. You whisper another 'i love you' before dozing off.

Raw:

Such a hollow promo by Lana tbh. “I’m dreaming, don’t wake me up.�� ??? You were the sole survivor by proxy, it’s not like you did anything. Like good for you, but come on now.

I mean sure, hand out a title shot to fucking Lana, not like anyone else in the entire company cares about that belt. God I miss Becky.

“You may go home Raw women’s champion” HAHAHAHAHAAHHA sure.

“Nikki Cross blames herself for what Alexa Bliss has become,” she should, she straight up threw her hissy fit cuz she didn’t win the title, and then she bailed.

Now don’t get me wrong, I get that Alexa has been... possessed, if you will, by Fiend... but I’m not seeing any signs of Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to her and Bray. Aren’t they both trapped by Fiend in lore? Bray seems to genuinely care about Alexa. Am I off the mark here??

Oh my god this moment of silence for the fucking frog, I--

Topped with them laughing about his death, oooookay. I’m left speechless once again.

Commentators come back with, “Is Alexa Bliss too far gone...” LMFAO bye.

See I love this bullying Lana storyline cuz Nia and Shayna have no real reason to despise her 1/8th as much as they do. It simply boils down to ‘fuck Lana’ and like your typical high school bullies, they seethe when their victim succeeds at anything. It’s old school, believable, and doesn’t cross any lines that would upset parents or sponsors.

Also don’t get me wrong, I’m well aware that this title match is just a vehicle to advance the feud while involving Asuka, I simply wish the creation of the title match itself had been a bit more interesting. Lana’s dialogue ahead of it with both Sarah and Asuka just fell flat for me.

Omfg Asuka threw water on Nia and Shayna, bahahahah I can’t breathe. That might be the highlight of her entire reign, holy shit.

Negative points for her being floored by one punch though.

Well at least the segment ends with both Asuka and Lana standing, that’s not the worst.

Not much to say about this match, it’s really just Nia and Shayna bullying Lana lol.

I’ll give them this, there is absolutely nothing about neither Nia nor Shayna that is even remotely likeable. They play mean really well, and not ‘annoying yet funny’ mean like Bayley, just straight mean.

It’s not that I hate this submission ‘hold’ by Shayna, where she steps on the back of their neck while pulling a leg back, but I’m curious why she switched legs lmao. Awkward.

What a knee strike by Shayna to Asuka, whew that looked nasty.

Lmfao Nia took herself out by charging into the announce desk. I cannot. What a bump. Comedic bump, but a bump. Points.

Haha Shayna ate a rollup. A happy ending indeed. Lana sold that ending well, but it was a weird choice to have her and Asuka on the opposite ends of the ramp.

It’s been like 2 years and I’m still shocked Alexa never turned on Nikki.

This video is kind of just skipping over Nikki throwing her tantrum huh? Alexa played backseat cheerleader just to watch Nikki lose against Bayley 16 times and what did she get in return? Disrespect. Tsk.

Great package though. Points.

Nikki is so inconsistent. Internal conflict is valid, but she’s standing here claiming Alexa gave up on their friendship. First of all, this was initially instigated by Nikki. Second of all, she did nothing but trash Alexa’s boyfriend(?) when Alexa was nothing but kind to her after Nikki was a douche. She was confused so she gave Alexa an ultimatum, and now she’s pissy cuz Alexa chose him. This is toxic, I honestly have no sympathy for Nikki.

“I’m going to beat the Fiend out of Alexa Bliss” that��s... that’s not how this works... alright well you’re a shitty friend so, anyway.

Alexa slaps the back of Nikki’s hands and claims she won. I fucking can’t, she’s such a treat.

Lol Alexa’s just laughing at her.

My first introduction to Alexa was her as a master manipulator. Not a damn thing has changed.

Alexa has lost her god damn mind rofl.

*Bonus* online exclusive: victim Nikki, everyone. Why wasn’t this on Raw? Jesus they fill Raw with so many garbage replays while meaningful interviews to fill plot holes are put online. Dumb.

Lacey’s really running around calling Peyton “PeyPey” good lord.

I mean she’s right, Peyton was the weakest link. Just saying.

I fucking love how Lacey pronounces “opportun-tit-ies” lmao. I thought it was an accident at first but honestly it’s great.

They have zero chemistry in the ring but at least they’re fun outside of it.

Alright Ember’s theme is wearing on me. She just has awesome theme songs.

Indi is really pretty and I love how she does her hair.

All nxt heels are the same; cowardly run from fights, slow methodical wrestling in the ring, recruiting muscle optional. It’s tired. At least be a good promo. Dakota is a good promo. She’s buyable. Actually where’s Dakota, I wanna see Dakota wrestle. No more Candice.

Holy shit that fall away slam onto Candice. Fucking THREW her ass across the ring. Whew everyone wave bye to Candice.

The setup to that step up senton by Candice was way too obvious.

Candice is too whiny.

Ah just as I’m beginning to get bored, Dakota comes out. It’s like nxt knows me.

Soooo Xia gets acting points, but what in the fuck is going on with her and Boa’s story...

I enjoy watching neither of these women wrestle, but at least Jinny’s persona is appealing and she has solid character work. She’s easy to dislike, so she gets heel-potential points.

Did they say Isla’s mentor is Nikki Cross? That’s... interesting...

So is this match gonna be interrupted by Piper? Probably not.

“This is an aggressive Isla Dawn,” well hey, maybe she actually started working on her stamina.

Jinny is vicious lmao.

Probably Isla’s best showing tbh.

I hate it when people jump off the top turnbuckle and then break into a slow, clunky roll, just to stand up and act as if their knee is tweaked. It’s so messy to me. Be smoother or don’t aimlessly jump off the turnbuckle.

Whole lotta yelling in the match.

Really don’t give a shit about a future Jinny/Piper match but okay.

Highlight: Jinny comes off as a vicious bitch, so that’s nice

“I think I did the world a favor, we got to see Bianca Belair shine,” she’s not wrong, Bianca was absolutely my mvp from SvS. In hindsight speaking from current day, Bayley really set up Bianca to be the upcoming star of this division, starting with SvS.

“You don’t want to get counted out again,” lmfao Bayley’s so annoying.

No, stop, no more “them” promos. Bayley cut this promo literally a year prior, we don’t need to hear it from Carmella, too. Besides, she was never necessarily a fan favorite that the crowd gradually turned against like Bayley was. It’s different.

Lmao Sasha beating her ass. Good for her. Looking good while she does it, too. Sasha in shiny silver... whew.

The wwe shop ad with the Riott Squad was worth a mention. They entertain me and they deserve tag titles. Not sure why wwe is still dragging their feet, but commit to them already, damn it.
