[At IceMav's]
Bob, Jake, Javy, Mickey and Reuben telling Mav about their favourite medical TV-show while Bradley and Nat handle the dessert.
Reuben: I got hooked up with Grey's Anatomy since the beginning. Can't get enough of the staff sleeping with each other.
Mickey: No way, man! The Good Doctor is the best show. I love Dr. Murphy! He's the best!!!
Javy: Not bad, dude, but I freaking love House M.D. There's no better one-liners than House's.
[Javy and Mickey high-fiving.]
Bob: I used to watch every Dr Quinn Medicine Woman rerun with my mum.
Mav: Good one, Bob. It's Ice's favourite too! You should come here on Wednesday, he loves to watch his favourite episodes.
Reuben: What about you, Jake?
[Javy snorts because HE KNOWS.]
Jake, dreamily distracted: ER. For one character only... Greene.
Mav, spitting out his beer through his nose: ARE YOU KIDDIN' ME?!
Jake: Nope. There's no sexiest doctor than good ol' Dr. Mark Greene.
The other men but Javy: What? What's going on? Show us Mav!
[On Mav's phone:]
Tumblr media
Mickey: DUUUUUUDE. YOU'RE SO PREDICTABLE SOMETIMES.
[They all tease Jake who's as cool as a cucumber. He's not ashamed! The guy IS good-looking and reminds him a little of...]
Bradley: Why you guys laughing? What did we miss?
Jake: Bradshaw! As I live and breathe. Did you bring me back my cheesecake?

Softer Side
Pairing: Mattheo Ridde x Ravenclaw y/n
Warning: Fluff
When others asked, you told them you weren’t sure when it happened. You weren’t sure when you stopped thinking Mattheo was just an ignorant prick and instead started defending him when others brought up his name in conversation. But you knew exactly when it happened, and you wanted to keep it to yourself. You liked being one of the only ones to see the soft side of Mattheo.
You’d seen him straighten up the Slytherin table after the rest of his friends left for class, stacking plates and straightening goblets when he thought no one else was paying attention. You saw him help Madam Pince in the library a few times as well. You swore it was a detention until you heard her thanking him for volunteering his time again at the end of the week. However your favorite soft Mattheo moment was the first time you witnessed it. Whether it was his actions in the moment, or your interaction with him afterwards was an internal debate you continued to have with yourself to this day.
The first was purely on accident. You were cutting through the courtyard to get to transfiguration on time. You were already running late and McGonagall was not going to go easy on you if you showed up after her again. You noticed two students in the corner of the courtyard, a male seemingly having a female pinned against one of the pillars.
As you got closer, you noticed none other than Adrian Pucey trapping a poor third year, whispering in her ear. Her face was contorted in disgust as she tried to squirm away from him. You were about to shout at him to leave her alone when he was suddenly shoved to the ground. You stopped dead in your tracks and watched as Mattheo knelt down next to Pucey, a hand on his throat as he threatened the boy through gritted teeth. “Guys like you are the scum of the fucking earth, Pucey,” he spat. “If I ever see you trap another girl like that again, you’re fucking done for, ya hear me?”
Pucey nodded his head the best he could as Mattheo’s hand was still on his throat, holding him to the ground. Mattheo released him and Pucey quickly got up and scurried away down the nearest corridor. Mattheo stood up, straightening his robes before turning back to the young girl. “Are you okay, darling, did he hurt you?” You had never seen him speak so softly and reassuring to someone before. You had to blink a few times to make sure you were still seeing the same man before you. The girl shook her head no in response before Mattheo patted her shoulder and encouraged her to head to class.
“Well, that was interesting,” you spoke up, slight smirk on your face. Mattheo’s head whipped around at your voice, you could’ve sworn his cheeks were slightly pink as well. He stood still as you walked closer to him. “Who knew big bad Mattheo Riddle would save strangers like a knight in shining armor,” you said, patting his chest mockingly. Mattheo rolled his eyes, “Pucey is walking dragon shit, everyone knows it.” You laughed lightly, nodding in agreement, starting to walk past him but he followed, quickly keeping pace with you as you walked down the corridor.
“Were you at least impressed by my heroic efforts, y/n?” He threw his arm around your shoulder as he walked. It was your turn to roll your eyes, “Oh, yes, Mattheo, I just loved watching you choke out the slimiest member of your house.” You playfully pushed his arm off you as you turned the corner leading to your classroom. He quickly grabbed your hand, spinning you back around to face him, your chests a mere few inches apart.
As you opened your mouth to protest, Mattheo leaned down to whisper in your ear, “Yannow I never pegged Ravenclaws to be into choking, but if you wanna explore that fantasy I can give you my common room password.” Your breath hitched in your throat for a moment before pushing him back. Mattheo just chucked lightly before giving you a wink and a Cheshire grin, disappearing behind the corner.

Family dinner
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x f!reader, Kate Bishop x Yelena Belova, platonic!Kate Bishop x f!reader
Warnings: a very poor attempt at humour
Summary: your best friend Kate needs backup after a mishap with Yelena's family
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“I need you here yesterday!”
“What?” You whisper-shout, looking around the office to make sure no one noticed you ducking away to take a call from your best friend.
“Please, I'm desperate! I can't do this alone, they're like sharks and I just spilled blood!”
“Kate, what the hell are you talking about?”
“Yelena's family! They're scary as shit on a good day, but now we messed up real bad, and I think they're gonna decapitate me,” she whines.
“Okay, let's backtrack. What did you do?”
“...”
“Kate?”
There's shuffling on the other side, a deep sigh and then, “Melina found the handcuffs. With the fur. They were still attached to the bed.”
You snort, loud enough to attract annoyed looks from your coworkers. “Happens to the best of-”
“And the whip. It was on the bed too.”
You chortle, this time not caring about your surroundings, and swiftly move further down the hall. “She knows Yelena's a big girl, she can ha-”
“Natasha was there too!”
You stop in your tracks. Now that's interesting.
“She'll never let you forget it,” you say with all the confidence you have, even though you've never met the woman before. You know just enough from what Kate and Yelena told you to be sure of that.
“She's not letting me forget it now! She got all sneaky and secretive, whispering with Melina and looking at me, and now I'm on my way to a family dinner. A family dinner with my girlfriend's family, while said girlfriend got called away on some emergency mission,” she huffs angrily.
“There's no emergency mission, is there?”
“There better be!”
You chuckle, shaking your head. It's never a boring day with Kate Bishop.
“So,” she starts, aiming for a nonchalant tone, “I'm downstairs.”
“What?”
“Yep. Waiting for you at the front. Better hurry, parking is expensive as hell.”
“Kate.”
“I'm your bestie. And my girlfriend's mom found the handcuffs. I need you.”
You check the time, noting that the workday is nowhere near it's end. With a sigh, you head for the elevator, not even bothering to come back for your bag.
“I love you.”
“I haven't agreed to-”
“I know what that sigh means!”
You groan. “Yeah, yeah. You owe me.”
×××
Turns out, Yelena's family is even scarier then you imagined.
“So, Y/n,” Melina starts, looking at you like you're one of her lab rats, “Do you usually leave your… sexual… stuff after you're done?”
You turn red, choking on the wine. Kate sends you a look of pity.
Natasha smirks.
“I don't… I'm not sure- Um. Well, no.”
Melina hums, nodding to herself. “Good.”
She digs into her food, and you exhale in relief, feeling like the worst part is over.
“So where do you keep your stuff, Y/n?” Natasha asks over the rim of her glass, her eyes full of mischief.
Kate slides lower in her seat, boring holes into her fork.
Melina perks up, once again regarding you like one of her subjects. “I would also like to know. To pass the advice to my daughter and her girlfriend.”
You gulp.
“Well?” Natasha prompts.
You shudder from the intensity of the look she's giving you.
“Can we move on?” Kate whispers, looking around nervously.
“Yes, of course,” Melina nods, her eyes lighting up like she was waiting for a subject change.
Natasha sends Kate an amused smile, and you relax slightly. Now the worst part is over, you're sure.
“So, Y/n-”
Fuck.
“-are you single?”
You nod, shoving a forkful of some meat salad - which mostly consists of mayonnaise - to avoid talking.
“And you're gay, correct?” Melina asks, peering into your very soul.
You nod again, chewing fast.
“Why are you gay?”
You choke on a piece of potato, wheezing and reaching for a glass of water. Kate almost falls of her chair in haste to smack you on the back. Natasha just looks at her mother, unimpressed. “Really?”
“What?” Melina shrugs. “I'm a scientist, I'm conducting research.”
The redhead groans, rubbing her eyes. “Of course.”
You feel a little better now that Natasha is annoyed.
Melina still looks at you, expecting an answer.
You sigh, “Are you gay?”
She blinks, looking like an owl. Natasha chokes on a laugh, sending you a look of appreciation. Kate mutters something about bathroom and darts out of the room, hopefully to call Yelena and fix all this mess.
“Well,” Melina starts, deep in thought. “I suppose I've never given it much of a thought.”
You nod, feeling accomplished in swaying attention from yourself.
“Natasha.” The older woman turns abruptly. “You are gay.”
The redhead groans, sliding down in her seat. “Mother, please.”
“She's gay, and you're gay. You're both miserably single.”
“Huh?” You frown, affronted.
“Fuck my life,” Natasha mumbles into the table, her face pressed tight against it in a feeble effort of disappearing.
“Yelena's on her way!” Kate walks back into the room, triumphant.
“Finally,” you sigh, pointedly looking at the ceiling to avoid Melina's penetrative gaze. “Where's she, by the way?”
“Hiding, probably,” Natasha snorts, shaking her head. “Escaped the scene of crime and left her girlfriend to pick up the mess.” She raises her glass in Kate's general direction, “You're doing good so far, Bishop. Even brought reinforcement - good thinking.”
“Yes-yes,” Melina nods, her eyes darting between you three. “Yelena's a bit of a coward in that regard, but we have an important matter to discuss.”
Natasha glares at her mother. “No, we don-”
“Natasha can cook. Well, she can microwave.”
“What did I miss?” Kate frowns, settling back into her seat. “Actually, no. I don't want to know.”
“As I was saying,” Melina clears her throat, paying no mind to the murderous look Natasha sends her. You'd feel gleeful at that - Natasha's plan came back to bite her in the ass - if you weren't the other victim in this scenario. “Natasha can cook. She's excellent with knives. She's an excellent shot. She can dismantle a bomb in a matter of seconds. She's a… a catch.”
You smile at the miserable expression on Natasha's face, her cheeks dusted with pink.
“Oh…” Kate whispers, looking at you from the corner of her eye. “Well, actually, Y/n is-” she yelps loudly when your heel connects with her toes, and turns bright red at the shooting pain. “-a bitch. She's a bitch.”
The look in Melina's eyes turns gleeful. “That was excellent.”
Fucking hell, no matter what you do, your grave turns deeper and deeper.
Natasha snorts, chugging her wine like it's water. Melina's mouth opens again, and you say a stupid thing to save yourself from further embarrassment.
“Can we go back to Kate's handcuffs, please,” you mutter with a sigh.
The look of betrayal your friend sends you doesn't work the way she intended, because you don't feel guilty at all.
Melina's mouth snaps shut, her eyes widening. The sight alone tells you you said the wrong thing.
“Have you and Kate ever-”
“No!” you both shout, before the older woman can finish the question.
“Sounds defensive,” Natasha chuckles, reaching for the bottle of vodka.
“Wha- What?” You hiss, glaring at the spy.
“She's- Y/n’s not even my type! And I'm not her type either!” Kate splutters.
“Mhm,” Natasha hums, “that I can see.”
You gape, not sure if you're supposed to be offended. “What?”
Natasha smirks, planting her chin on her fist. “You need a firm hand. Your best friend is anything, but firm.”
Her eyes trail down your body, pupils darkening ever so slightly. Your cheeks burn and, suddenly, it's hard to breathe. You clear your throat and gulp down the last of your wine, carefully avoiding her gaze.
“O-okay. That's- okay, yep,” Kate mutters to herself. “Fuck my life.”
“Am I wrong?” Natasha husks, reaching across the table to play with the golden bracelet on your wrist.
Really, right in front of her mother?
The front door opens with a loud bang, and you jump up, relieved to see Yelena. The feeling doesn't last long, because a second later you notice the bleeding wound on her torso.
“So that was an actual mission,” you mumble, missing the way Natasha snorts in your haste to get Yelena to the couch.
Kate looks pale, but swiftly starts helping Yelena undress. Melina's ready with the first aid kid by the time they finally tear off the shirt.
“So?” Natasha whispers into your ear, sending goosebumps down your skin. “Am I wrong?”
Apparently, not even her bleeding sister can stop her.
“No,” you reply, “you're not wrong.”
She hums, satisfied. “I am miserably single, you know?"
You let out a loud laugh, not even bothering to quiet down when Yelena sends you a murderous look.
“I am miserably single, too.”
She smiles, nodding to herself.
“Want to fix that?” She asks after a bit, her eyes glinting in the soft evening light.
“They'll never shut up about it,” you groan, stepping closer to her.
“Yeah,” she hums, her grin stretching wider. “So?”
"A little help?" Yelena wheezes, glaring daggers at the two of you. "Hello? Your sister is dying."
“Yes,” you reply, not taking your eyes away from her green pools.
“Perfect,” she breathes, before pressing a gentle kiss to the corner of your mouth. “I'll pick you up tomorrow at six.”
"Fucking unbelievable," Yelena mutters and yelps when Melina shushes her with a pinch and a hissed "don't ruin my hard work".
Kate just looks like she's about to faint.
You grin. "I can't wait."

♯ birthday boy ྀི
includes : 2.2k words, smut! , fluff , established relationship, not proof read MINORS DNI!!!
note : it’s Yuuta’s day! Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did:)!
Tumblr media
Your boyfriend’s birthday would always be your favorite thing to celebrate. Even way before you were dating you loved to do small things for him.
Baking a small cake, getting him a little gift, or even just being in his presence. He’d always tell you that it was okay to not do anything, he couldn’t stress it enough. However you’d assure him it was something you loved doing for him.
Knowing how you were though, planning the perfect day for him was always stressful. Especially since you hadn’t seen him for a month. He was sent abroad and got the green light to come home for his birthday from the higher ups.
Just this once.
So you were even a little nervous, the surprise party you were throwing for him wasn’t big but it was definitely meaningful. All of the people that were dear to him would be here so you knew he’d love it.
“Ouch! Okay! Uh Maki can you grab me that plate please?” You yell signaling to her as you pulled out Yuuta’s freshly baked cake.
You had invited everyone over a couple hours earlier before Yuuta’s arrival, they all brought their own food and desserts. All of them pitched in and even helped you set up the party.
“Here you go.” She sets it on the counter, helping you pull out the cake and she snorts at your state. Your hair disheveled, in nothing but one of Yuuta’s shirts and an apron.
“You should go freshen up, me and Inumaki can take care of this.” She smirks but you shake your head.
“It’s fine! I still have time left.” You smile waving her off, she mutters an okay, walking back to Fushiguro and Inumaki.
You happily spin the cake around, plastering frosting all over it. Decorating simple yet pretty, just like your boyfriend. As you’re adding one last strawberry, Itadori’s voice catches your attention.
“Uh I think he’s here.” You whip your head around, checking the time.
“That can’t be true we still have an hour left!” You wash your hands, drying them and rushing to your window. You gasp upon seeing your boyfriend walk up the stairs to your apartment.
“What’s he doing here so early!” You whisper shout, frantically turning around to see if everything was set in place.
It was indeed not.
Decorations were half done, the snack table weren’t even organized and the food hadn’t even come! And besides all of that you weren’t even ready.
You bite your lip, ushering everyone to hide. You tried your best to plant more strawberries and hurriedly stuff candles on his cake until your heard the door unlock.
“Baby! I’m home.” You can hear him say, the sound of his katana and bag being set on the floor.
“Surprise!”
Everyone yells and the lights turn on, confetti being shot and party blowers being blown. Your boyfriend’s eyes scan the room, smiling upon seeing all of his friends. He freezes once his eyes land on you.
You have a sheepish smile on your face, holding his cake in your hands. A strawberry slowly falls over, sinking into the frosting. His eyes soften almost immediately.
You all begin to see my happy birthday to him. As you all sing he slowly walks over to you, standing in front of you, helping you hold the cake.
He stares down at you, all his love pouring out of his eyes with just one stare. Once you all finished you whisper to him.
“Make a wish.”
He smiles widely, looking at you and at his candles he blows. Everyone cheers and you feed him a strawberry, making him giggle.
After he greets everyone, you make your way back to the counter, setting down his cake. His arms wrap around your waist, his nose rubbing into the nape of your neck.
“Yuu!” You turn around and he traps you against the counter.
“You look so cute.” He smiles and you pout.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t have enough time to finish. I didn’t know you were coming back early.” You rub his cheek and he leans into your palm.
“Well I wanted to come as soon as possible. Although I did think I was just coming home to you.” He laughs and you purse your lips. He leans in close, swiping his thumb along your cheek and popping it in his mouth.
“You had frosting on your cheek honey.” He moves to kiss you, planting a sweet peck on your lips. However he grows more angsty, littering kisses along your neck.
“Missed you so much.” He whispers against your neck and you gulp.
“Baby we have guests over.” He sighs against your neck, stopping himself from sucking a mark on your pretty skin.
“Then let’s go in the restroom real quick.” He whines, pulling at your (his) shirt.
“No! I have another surprise for you, but that’s just for us two.” You blush and he perks up. “
Just for us hm?” He laughs, pecking the top of your head.
“I’ll behave till then, thank you for all this pretty.” He caresses your cheek and with that he’s joining Inumaki in beer pong against Maki and Yuuji.
Throughout the rest of the party you’re going in and out of your shared bedroom. Yuuta watches you the whole time, no matter who’s talking to him, he’ll always focus on you.
And as it gets later he’s surprised when you turn in for the night, even more surprised when you’re now dolled up.
Your hair is done, little bit of makeup on your face, and god you smell so good.
You give him a sly look, closing the door in front of you. Your stare resembled a siren, the way it was hypnotizing and luring him in.
He quickly lets everyone know that he was done for the night. Gojo and Inumaki teasing him for being an old fart. He lets them spew their unharmful comments, taking it all with a smile and a wave of goodbye.
Once the door is closed and lock, his cold stare is locked with the bedroom door. He’s stalks over there with purpose, his cock somewhat hardening in his pants.
He just missed you so much, the only thing he could think about his plane ride home was getting back to you and fucking you, filling you up with all of his love.
He jiggles the door knob and it’s locked. He pouts, lightly knocking on the door.
“Honey? You alright?” He asks, pressing his ear against the door, trying to listen to what you’re doing.
“Is everyone gone?” He can hear your sweet voice and he can feel his heart flutter and clench.
“Yea baby they’re gone. Can you let me in please?”
Maybe it’s a little dramatic but he’s getting a little annoyed that this stupid door was separating you both when he’d rather have you in his arms. He hears the door click, signaling it’s unlocked and he steps back. You slowly pry open the door, his eyes widening.
Your body adorned a baby pink lingerie set, one that Yuuta had sent you a picture from where he was, saying you’d look stunning in it.
The bedroom smells cozy, candles littering the room, rose petals as well. He’s at a loss for words yet despite everything he can’t tear his eyes from you.
He watches you pull your lips between your teeth, a feeble attempt to hide your nervous fidgeting. His mouth has gone dry and it’s gaping.
“Oh baby.” He says breathlessly, his hands finding comfort on your waist. You gulp, your hands lightly resting on his shoulders.
“Surprise?” You laugh and he smiles widely, only a smile that you could pull from him.
“Jesus Christ Angel , you’re gonna kill me.” He sighs, his grip on your waist tightening, a way to try and ground himself.
“Happy birthday Yuu.” You kiss him, making him sigh into it, pulling you impossibly closer. You pull away, a shy smile on your lips.
“I’m your birthday gift.” You smile and he laughs.
“Yea? Best gift I could ever receive.” He picks you up so easily, making you squeal, wrapping your legs and arms around him.
“Wait! I’m not finished!” You exclaim, as he places you down on the bed.
“What is it?” He asks, playing with your hair.
“You can do anything you want with me.” You smile and he melts.
“Anything?” He raises his brows and you nod.
“Thank you pretty, I just wanna make love to you so fucking bad right now.” He rasps, tearing off his shirt.
He’s on you in an instant and it makes you giggle. His hands are everywhere, feeling up all of your body.
“You’re making me go crazy, dressed like this for me.” He whispers against your lips, pulling your bottom lip between his teeth.
“Just for you Yuuta.” You moan in his mouth and he growls. He kicks his pants off, his hands ghosting the straps of your top.
“Debating if I should fuck you in this or not.” He gasps out and you sit up.
“Whatever you wanna do baby.” You say, your hand rubbing over his clothed cock.
He hisses, grabbing your wrist. He lays you against the sheets once again. There wasn’t any part of your body that wasn’t covered with his kisses and marks.
So giving that, he’d decided to undress you, leaving you both bare and basking in each other’s warmth. You’re breathless under him, squirming and a moaning mess. He found it all to cute, you were so perfect.
Putting in this much effort just because it was his birthday, letting him have you like this just because you loved him. After paying your body a little too much attention, he’s straining against his boxers, no longer having the patience.
“How you feeling pretty?” He asks, pulling down his boxers, his cock slapping against his stomach.
“Empty, need you Yuu.” You pout and sighs from your words.
“Gonna fill my pretty girl up yea?” You nod as he guides his cock to your gaping hole.
You both share a loud moan as he sinks in, gripping his shoulders to the point, crescents formed on his skin from your nails.
“So big.” You whine and he twitches.
He almost pulls out, before he’s sheathing himself inside you once again. His hands find yours, trapping them with his big hands. He panting above you, already pussy drunk from your wet heat.
“F-Fuck baby, m’not gonna last. Been so long since I’ve been inside her.” He whimpers, shoving his face in your neck.
“S’ok just want you to feel good. Let me take care of you.” You say out of breath.
Even in your fucked out state, you push him, now straddling his lap. You quickly sink down on him and a guttural moan leaves his throat.
“Ngh—so tight pretty, shit.” His head hits the pillow as his mind goes mush because of the way you work your hips down on him.
He watches you in bliss as your face contorts in pleasure, the way he’s the one that can only elicit such pretty sounds from your mouth.
“I-I love you, love you so much you don’t understand.” He babbles, thrusting into you. You clench around him and he stutters, letting your hips roll down on him.
“Love you too Yuu.”
He pulls you in a messy kiss, saliva exchanged, tongues fighting for dominance.
“ ‘m gonna fucking cum.” He grunts against your lips, brows pulled together.
“Cum with me baby please, please.” He begs, one of his hands moving to rub at your clit. You gasp, and clench around him.
He leans up and kisses you as you both finish. You’re both breathless against each other, your hips are still rolling against him, milking him dry. He whimpers under you.
“Such a good girl.” He rasps, staring up at you and rubbing your thighs comfortingly. You pull off of him, falling on top of his chest.
He smiles down at you with all the love in the world. He combs his hands through your hair as you draw shapes on his chest.
“I would offer a nice warm bath but you really did a number on me.” He laughs and your heart swarms at the sound.
“It’s okay love, this is nice.” You cuddle up more against him, draping a leg over him, your arms enclosing around him.
“I miss you a lot Yuu.” You mumble against his chest, suddenly feeling sad. The look on your face pains him, it makes him want to cry.
“I do too, you’re such a strong girl, waiting for me like this, you deserve so much better.” He sighs. Your head snaps up, your eyes blinking rapidly.
“Are you breaking up with me?” Your voice wavers and your hurt expression makes Yuuta’s heart stop.
“N-No! I would never! Well I mean, only if you wanted to but you know I can’t.” He caresses your cheek.
“I’d never leave you, you’re the only one I want.”
And he means those words with everything that he is.
He hopes that the promise ring in his bag was enough to prove that as well.

pls part 2 to neteyam defending you 🫡🤍 but this time i'd love a continuation to motherly neytiri tending to reader!! and her hinting at the fact she had seen them and their son share a kiss after trying to find out all the commotion once hearing overprotective jake lose his cool at ao'nung!
Jake Is Pissed At Ao'nung, and Neytiri Talks To You About Your Kiss With Neteyam After All the Commotion (SFW)
Part 2 of "Neteyam Defending You"
CW: my dude Jake goes crazy, starts talking really freely to the Olo'eyktan, Neytiri is so nice and caring, best wing-woman ever, jake x reader (platonic; father-daughter-ish)
Tumblr media
"What the hell is the matter with you, boy?! I oughta fight you right now!" Jake shouted as his eyebrows furrowed, the boy doing his best to try and understand the angry, English words.
Jake always switched to English when he was mad.
It was instinct, and English had more expressive cuss words than Na'vi anyway.
"Mawhey, My Jake," Neytiri whispered, quietly stepping in front of her husband and resting her hands on his chest, her eyes flicking to the crowd of village people that started to form.
"Please. The people are watching."
The entire Sully family stood behind you and Jake, on one side of the walkway, while Ao'nung, his friends, and the rest of the Metkayina stood on the other.
It looked as if both sides were warring.
"Let 'em watch. This shit needs to be dealt with," Jake growled, carefully moving her out the way and getting ready to scream at Ao'nung some more.
"What seems to be the problem here?" Tonowari asked calmly, him and Ronal breaking through the crowd and stepping to the front.
His tone was calm, but you could see on his face that he was clearly angered with the fact that his on was injured, and the outsiders shouting at him.
"The problem here? I'll show you the problem," Jake whipped his head over to you, giving a firm nod.
You nodded back with a sigh, stepping in the middle of the clan divide and lifting your arms, putting all of your injuries on display.
The Metkayina gasped, and Neteyam had to be held back by Lo'ak and Kiri.
He hadn't realized the extent of the damage when he was carrying you, but looking at it now, he should've hit Ao'nung twice as hard.
You had hand-shaped bruises all over your arms, and one on your ankle from Ao'nung's demonstration.
Your face had a large bruise on it's right cheek, and a bloody nose from being dropped on your face.
And the statement piece of it all, the nasty, pillow-sized bruise on your side, which was leaking blood from Ao'nung's toenails.
"Your words. Treat these Forest people like brothers and sisters. I don't see this shit as very familial," Jake spat, pointing roughly at Rotxo.
"That little shit managed to squeal about everything done to (y/n). The grabbing! The kicking! THE KIDS DROPPED HER ON HER FACE FOR FUCK'S SAKE!"
Your breath hitched, silently thanking Eywa that the Metkayina did not have good English.
Ronal and Tonowari quickly turning to their son in anger, their gaze practically burning holes into the boy.
"Is this true?" the two hissed, no longer masking their rage.
And the look of absolute fear on his face was the icing on the cake.
It almost made you feel sorry for him.
....Almost.
"ANSWER!" Tonowari shouted.
"YES! It's true!" He admitted, hanging his head.
The entire crowd gasped, and Tsireya did her best to hold back tears as she looked at your injured form.
You were a very nice girl, and an incredible friend. You didn't deserve this in the slightest.
She could not believe her brother for doing such a horrible thing.
"My kids come back to me nearly everyday talking about how this kid is constantly harassing them-." "He calls us all freaks," Tuk sadly chimed, glassy eyed as she tucked her face into her mother's side, Neytiri taking deep, full breaths to keep her composure.
"But for the sake of peace, I let it slide. Well all that stops tonight! I want it to be made perfectly clear that if your son, or ANY of his little friends so much as lift a finger to ANY of my children, they will have to answer to me!" Jake finalized, resting a hand on your shoulder at the word children.
It almost brought you to tears.
You felt so loved, and protected, and safe. It me your heart swell with joy.
"Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, sir!" Rotxo and the other boys frantically agreed, terrified that, not only did they witness Toruk Makto's anger, but were the direct cause of it.
Everyone turned to Ao'nung to hear his response, but he stayed silent, dazed.
"SPEAK, BOY!" Tonowari shouted once again, pushing the boy forward with his staff.
"Understood!" he cried, turning his gaze down to the floor.
"Good," Jake huffed, un-puffing his chest.
"You have brought shame to this family. Go to the marui. You are grounded," Tonowari glared at his son, pointing his staff back to their home.
Ao'nung nodded, quickly turning around and speed-walking over, Tsireya following behind, ashamed.
Jake scoffed at the display, before turning to you with a softened face. "Now you. Are you okay? Wanna go get patched up?"
"Yes, sir," you nodded with a smile, quietly wincing from the pain of your bruised cheek.
"If you would accept, I could heal your daughter for you," Ronal stepped forward, apologetically bowing.
"I believe your family has done enough for tonight. I will handle this," Neytiri glared, stepping in front of you.
Ronal clenched her jaw, but nodded, turning around to follow her husband home.
"Come, child," Neytiri smiled at you, carefully taking your hand and leading you to the marui, Tuk and Kiri following close behind.
They entered, and the boys tried coming in after, but Neytiri stopped them.
"We must talk. Alone," Neytiri knowingly looked up at Jake, who nodded.
"That's alright. I gotta talk to these two, anyway," he agreed, resting his hands on the brothers' shoulders and leading them to a more secluded part of the island.
When Neytiri turned around, you were already sitting down, Kiri preparing the salves for your bruises.
She walked over and sat criss-crossed in front of you, picking up a special leaf to clean off your blood.
"My (y/n), are you alright?" she calmly asked, lightly swiping the blood from your nose.
"Yes. It looks worse than it feels. Truly," you assured, the loud wince you let out when Kiri touched a bruise quickly debunking your statement.
Neytiri sighed, carefully lifting your arm to wipe the blood from your side.
She needed to lift your spirits.
"You know," she started, a smile growing on her lips. "You and Neteyam remind me of me and his father when we were young."
You practically choked on the air you were breathing, the coughing fit you were sent into not feeling the best on your ribs.
Though it seemed like perfect entertainment for Kiri and Tuk, whose uproarious laughter could be heard from the next marui.
"I am serious," Neytiri politely laughed, halting her swipes on your side with a smile so you could catch your breath.
"He may not act like it, but your father used to be just as reckless as Lo'ak, maybe a little more."
"Really?!" Tuk asked, amazed.
"No way," Kiri scoffed with a smile.
Out of all the times he had scolded that boy, he was just as bad.
"But he was strong. He had a strong heart. No fear. Almost never hesitating to fight if needed," Neytiri continued, starting to smooth the salve over your rib.
"I see this in Neteyam."
She glanced up from her work, looking you in the eyes.
"For me, I was always calm. I wasn't as quick to fight as he, but I was still strong, and determined."
She looked back down.
"I see this in you."
Your cheeks turned a dark blue hue, despite the splashes of purple and red alredy there.
"The Great Mother knows all, and I feel she did not make this resemblance for no reason."
Was she saying what you think she's saying?
"Neytiri, what are you-?" "I am saying you and Neteyam have my blessing," she smiled.
Your breath hitched.
"Oh! I didn't....we weren't.....I wasn't-!" "No sense in denying it, (y/n). The whole clan saw you swapping spit with the boy as you came over," Kiri shrugged with a smile, teasingly poking you in the cheek, wary of your injuries.
You groaned, hiding your face in your hands, embarrassed.
"Oh, stop," Neytiri chuckled, tucking a stray braid behind your ear. "I think it is cute."
bonus !!
Jake sat down on the sandy shore, Neteyam and Lo'ak sitting on either side of him, concerned.
"You two listen, and listen good," he started seriously, his tone leaving no room for games.
The two nodded, and the man continued.
"I want you two to watch that Ao'nung kid, and his little group of friends, too. Be nice for the sake of peace, but keep your heads on a swivel. If they say anything to your sisters or (y/n), you tell me, I'll sort it out."
Jake did a quick perimeter check, making sure no one was listening in.
"But if any of those little shits so much as touch a hair on their head, I give both of you full permission to beat the living shit out of each and every one of them. Don't worry about the repercussions, I'll take the heat. But that's gonna be the new protocol from now on."
The two boys nodded firmly, giving their father a serious look.
"Understood," Neteyam agreed.
He was glad his dad was giving him permission, but to be honest, he was going to end up doing this anyway.
Today, he made a silent oath that he was never going to let you get hurt on his watch ever again.
"Alright," Lo'ak smirked, cracking his knuckles with his fist.
"And as for you," Jake started up again, turning to Neteyam.
The boy gulped, bracing himself for a scolding of some sort.
"Who taught you how to kiss like that?" his father smiled, giving his son a proud pat on the back.
"Oh, yeah! Those two were going at it! They were like-." Lo'ak jumped up from his seat, hugging himself and making kissing noises.
"Aye!" Neteyam waved off with a smile, that familiar heat rising to his cheeks.
Jake chuckled at his boys' antics, throwing his arms around each one and pulling them into a hug.
This was what a family was for. Protecting one another, caring for one another, healing one another.
Jake had no doubt in his mind that his family was, and truly is, his fortress.

JULY 1992
The sun had begun to set and yet the warmth of the day still lingered. The glow of the street lamps cast an amber hue on the pavement, outlining the familiar houses that lined the quiet street. The air was filled with the scent of summer, a blend of fresh grass and the distant fragrance of blooming flowers. In one of the houses on the street, a family gathered in their backyard for a summer evening barbecue. The smell of sizzling burgers and sweet barbecue sauce wafted through the air, and the faint laughter of children chasing each other echoed, while the adults lounged and swapped stories.
Meanwhile, across the field, two girls were beneath the sprawling branches of a willow tree. A patchwork quilt, covering a section of flattened grass, held a tea set long forgotten as they had rounded the thick trunk, the littlest one already perched on the wooden swing.
“Push me higher, Natty!” You exclaimed, voice full of glee. You were only a small girl with wild hair and a toothy grin, but your spirit was boundless.
Natalia smiled brightly, her own eyes sparkling with joy at her friend's excitement. “You’re already so high you could see the Empire State Building.” She teased, her laughter blending with the sound of chirping crickets amongst the long grass in the distance.
“I know!” The wind whipped against your face, and you couldn’t help but let out a joyous laugh.
Inseparable since Natalia moved in next door, your friendship blossomed under the protective branches of the willow tree across the street, where a swing hung proudly in the breeze. Its gentle leaves whispered secrets that only the two of you could hear, dreams of the future etched upon its bark, as unadulterated laughter rang true with its sway.
She whistled as your head swung back, the carefree spirit of the summer evening enveloping her in its warm embrace. And as she gazed up at the tree’s opening, she found twinkling stars above and the imaginary distant silhouette of the Empire State Building visible on the horizon. She couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the vastness of the world she had yet to see.
"Whoa, this is amazing." You shouted, feeling your stomach drop with each swoop. "Let’s swing all the way to the moon!"
“Maybe not the moon,” She pushed harder, her hands gripping the thick plank of wood beneath you, “But let’s try for the stars."
You shouted with as much euphemism as your little body could handle as the swing reached its peak. Weightless under its motion, you were suspended between the sky and the ground.
An angel flung out of space.
"I can almost touch the stars!"
She smiled. Despite her hands being rubbed red raw from rope burn, she was happy. She was always happy to be with you. While she had her younger sister, Yelena, whom she cared for deeply, it wasn't the same as having you. A friendship of her own creation. She yearned for the summer days when she could run around like a child with you.
“That’s good, that means you’re almost home, little star.” She shouted, her accent slipping out ever so subtly.
Carefully, your hand stretched toward the night sky – a poor attempt to touch the boiling balls of gas above.
You both were happy.
It’s sad what became of you both.
All too soon, reality intruded once more. The distant sound of a heavy door opening cut through the air, a gentle reminder that all good things must come to an end. With a final push, Nat stepped back and held onto the plank, commanding it to a halt. She knew what was coming.
At first, you didn’t notice her disappear around the wide trunk. But the gentle clink of pottery against one another told you enough as you followed in her footsteps.
“Natalia,” You whined, hands on your waist at the sight of the older girl cleaning up. “No, it’s your turn to swing.”
A whistle pierced the air, its familiar shrill sound gaining both of your attention. The sound of home time. “Natalia, come. Time to go.” Her mother’s voice carried just as loud, urging the redhead to leave playtime behind.
She turned to you, her expression softening as she looked down at your smaller frame. With a mixture of reluctance and understanding, she pulled you into a tight embrace, the warmth of her arms wrapped around you, the gentle press of her lips against your forehead lingered for a moment before she released you and ran off into the gathering dusk.
Alone now, you watched as the field fell silent, the only sound being of the insects hidden in the dark. The swing on the other side croaked gently in response to the light breeze and the redhead’s swift departure. For a moment, you considered sitting on it, perhaps pushing yourself back and forth on the points of your feet. Instead, you find yourself standing there: the absence of your best friend ever so palpable, a void that sunk deep into your bones.
Without Natalia by your side, the swing held little allure, and you decided to make your way back home. With your large basket in hand, you reached your own doorstep and paused, casting one last glance towards the girl’s house. The lights were on inside, casting a warm glow against the darkness outside.
You almost missed it, but a glimpse of red hair appeared out the window, followed by a hand waving at you. As soon as you waved back, she was gone. Window shut. Curtains drawn.
You went to bed with a cheesy grin plastered on your face.
You’ll see her again tomorrow.
--
AUGUST 1997
“Natalia, stop fighting me on this. You look like a popsicle.” You laughed and shoved the girl playfully from where you were sitting against the willow tree.
“It's cool.” She defended, as her hand tugged at her blue-dyed ends.
The years had rolled by, but the memories of that swing under the willow tree lingered on in your heart. As the seasons changed, so did your life. You made new friends, explored different interests, and navigated the tumultuous journey of adolescence. Being older than you, Natalia was already in high school, but she didn’t go to any in the district, as she was home-schooled and sometimes had to leave for a while. She never really told you why.
Even so, your bond deepened and an unspoken connection developed between you both. Under the tree's comforting shade, you discovered a warmth in your heart that went beyond friendship. Those lazy summer afternoons spent laughing, dreaming, and sharing secrets created a bond that you wanted to explore further.
You’d never felt like this before for anyone.
Only Natalia.
Life as a pre-teen was so confusing.
You snorted, “Yeah, okay, you leave for a month and come back with half of your hair a different colour.”
But it wasn't just the hair colour that captivated you. It was the way she carried herself - a wisdom wise beyond her years. She was the same goofy redhead of course - her eyes sparkled with mischief when she laughed at you, her hand held the same warmth in yours as you walked together. But there was something else lurking beneath, a sadness more notable than her usual melancholy. You noticed the slight furrow in her brow, the way her fingers tapped nervously against each other.
Something was weighing on her mind, something significant. So, you asked, “What’s wrong?”
She let out such a soft sigh that you almost missed it.
“I’m leaving.”
Dread washed over you, and a knot formed in your stomach. "Again?"
She had just returned the other day. Your mind raced with questions and uncertainty and the tears already clustered your lash line. You, a child with no need to mask her emotions, no need to hide her soul, unlike Natalia, who always seemed to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders, her laughter always accompanied by a subtle sadness, as if she were trying to conceal her true feelings behind a façade of cheerfulness. But today, as she sat you down with a gentle tug, her eyes betraying a mixture of resolve and sorrow, you sensed that she could no longer hide what she'd been keeping inside.
"It's for good this time," she murmured, her gaze fixed on the ground as if unable to meet your eyes. "My parents want to go back to Russia. They don’t like it here.”
Though unspoken, you sensed the weight of what she meant. They don't like you. It stung, a silent acknowledgement of the barriers you've fallen blind to. The odd glances from her mother, the subtle disapproval from her younger sister—all pieces of a puzzle you've tried to ignore.
Her admission hung heavy in the air, the reality of separation sinking in with each passing moment. She drew closer, her delicate fingers brushing away the tears that cascaded down your cheeks. You lifted your gaze to meet hers, noticing the weariness etched into her features, the telltale signs of tears already shed hours before.
“I’ll miss you.” She whispered, forehead flushed against yours, before leaning down to kiss the corner of your lips. An almost kiss. One of many shared underneath the cover of the willow tree.
You tasted saltiness and noticed the fresh tears that had now sprung from her eyes.
“I'll miss you too. Forever.”
The next morning, you stood outside her house, as the sun cast long shadows over their lawn. It was your last full day together so you arrived bright and early, not wanting to waste any time. You reached out to knock on the door, but your hand hovered, hesitant. The house remained still, as if holding its breath, waiting for something that would never come. You glanced around, searching for any sign of life, but the windows stared back at you blankly, revealing nothing but darkness within.
“Natty?”
 Nothing.
A sinking feeling gnawed at your stomach as you realized they must've left in the night, slipping away like shadows fleeing from the dawn. The same way they joined this neighbourhood.
With a heavy heart, you turned away from the empty house, feeling as if a piece of your soul had been torn away with their departure. The world already seemed colder, lonelier, devoid of her warmth and laughter that once filled it.
In the days that followed, you found yourself drawn to the tree – yours and Natalia’s safe haven. You sat there, surrounded by memories, as the rope swayed in the wind - empty and forlorn. Though still magical, the willow tree could no longer shield you from the loneliness that settled in your heart, as the summer months stretched on endlessly, a blur of empty hours filled with longing and regret.
That night, you slept with a permanent frown, a puddle of tears staining your pillow.
You won’t see her again tomorrow.

APRIL 2001
From afar, she looked different. Almost unrecognisable.
Eighteen years old and she was here: barely an adult yet taller and slimmer, with a cascade of auburn curls framing her face that replaced the short blue hair you remembered. The years had engraved themselves onto her, carving the once-round face into a pointed visage that spoke of both experience and loss.
Just as beautiful as you remembered.
You sat on the swing under the tree with a book in hand, lost in its pages until light danced between the branches and a flicker of movement caught your attention. Glancing up, you froze as you saw her across the street.
Natalia?
Your heart quickened its pace, memories flooding back in a torrent. But this woman was different. She’d changed. She’d grown.
She noticed you too, her gaze locking onto yours for a moment. There's a flicker of recognition, a spark of something in those eyes. For a heartbeat, it feels like time hasn't passed, like you're still the same two little girls taking on the world together. But then, just as quickly as the connection formed, she averted her gaze, choosing instead to continue on her journey. She walked with purpose, footsteps marching in a steady rhythm that both connected and distanced her from you. She couldn’t get caught up with you. She had a job to do.
Realising she was going to walk away, you pushed yourself off the swing, a mix of hope and nerves swirling inside you as you discarded the book somewhere in the grass.
None of that mattered. Natalia was here. She was back.
“Hey, wait!” You shouted, practically running after her. You reached out to grab her wrist, but she jerked away, shoving you back a few steps with surprising force.
Up close, the difference was unquestionable.
The once soft and kind Natalia had evolved into a hardened version of herself, sharpened by strong fists. Her eyes once filled with innocence, now harbour shadows of pain and resilience. She exuded an aura of toughness, and a guarded silence had replaced the laughter that used to be a melody in her voice.
“Natalia? What are you doing here?” You inquired, tentatively closing the gap between you both. You watched as she winced at her name falling from your lips.
And yet, this time, she didn’t evade your touch. Her hand trembled slightly as it met yours, eyes fluttering shut for a moment. In that fleeting silence, you took in the toll life has taken on her. Her arms bear the marks of countless scars, remnants of battles fought in shadows, and bruises of varying hues.
“What happened to your arms?” Your voice is gentle, a soft inquiry borne out of concern.
But, the sudden confrontation had her retreating into herself, defences rising once more like impenetrable walls. You mustn’t know. She could never do that to you. “Let go.” She demanded sharply, her tone cutting through the air like a knife.
Caught off guard, you hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to proceed, but that’s long enough for her to decide to rip her hand out of yours, sharp and abrupt.
“Are you okay?” Your voice was barely a whisper as you watched her practically flee, disappearing around the corner of the street.
 You don’t follow her.

OCTOBER 2012
Funny how throughout life, fate seemed to play a game with you, pulling Natalia in and out of your orbit like a cosmic dance.
At twenty-seven, you found yourself entrenched in the fast-paced world of trauma nursing. After the arduous journey through medical school, you packed your bags and set your sights on the East Coast. New York City welcomed you with open arms, its vibrant chaos becoming the backdrop to your new life. From your boss’s office window, the silhouette of the Empire State Building stood tall, a symbol of strength amidst the chaos below.
You thrived in this environment, relishing in the opportunity to connect with and assist people in their most vulnerable moments. The adrenaline rush of the emergency room, the delicate balance between life and death—it fuelled you in ways nothing else could. Not since that summer night. Not since you tried to touch the stars.
Today, however, the hospital was enveloped in an air of secrecy and quiet urgency. Paramedics had rushed in with a new patient a few hours ago, shrouded in mystery as they were rushed straight into surgery. Usually, you're first on-site with incoming patients but you had been busy working your rounds to be able to assist, and there were enough on the trauma team – with the security clearance - to handle such a situation.
Stopping by the bedside of your oldest patient, Mrs. Dinton, you smiled sweetly. “Hey, Mrs Dinton. How are we today?”
"Ah, there you are, dearie," she said, her voice crackling with age. "I was just telling Nurse Molly here about the delightful hospital pudding they serve on Wednesdays. It's simply divine, don't you think?"
You chuckled softly, waving a hello to your colleague. "I'm afraid I'm not much of a fan, Mrs. Dinton. But I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it."
She laughed, a sound like tinkling bells. "Oh, well, means more for me then."
Before you could continue the conversation – could reprimand the elderly woman about how she needs to watch her sugar intake - Dr. Cho appeared at your side, her expression serious. "Excuse me, ladies. But, Nurse Y/N, is needed elsewhere." She says kindly but with a hint of urgency, no room for questioning. You and Dr. Cho were great friends, having graduated med school together and now working at the same hospital.
“What is it, Helen?” You asked, following her footsteps out the ward, navigating the labyrinthine hallways of the hospital.
“I’ve been assigned postoperative care for the Jane Doe and I want you with me...” Your heart dropped at the mention of the mystery woman.
All day, the hushed tones and covert glances exchanged among your colleagues hinted at the gravity of the situation. Their whispers that followed you through the hospital corridors spoke of a failed suicide attempt. While the hospital had sadly seen its share of such cases, this one was different – a Jane Doe, requiring an unusual degree of privacy.
“…while I don’t know any more than you about what happened, I trust you the most to help me with her. So I got you clearance. Go grab us a pair of gloves, I’ll meet you inside.” Helen finished with a nod before entering the private wing.
You donned your own pair of latex and made your way back to the private wing, the click of your shoes echoing down the corridor. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation and concern. The weight of the unknown pressed upon you as you approached the room where the troubled soul awaited treatment. Few years being a trauma nurse, you had seen it all… but not a Jane Doe. Never a Jane Doe.
Upon entering, you found Helen already studying the patient's chart. The subdued lighting in the room cast a sombre mood, and the machines hummed softly in the background. The Jane Doe was laid on the hospital bed, head secured in a neck brace and a tube down her throat, a silent testament to the ordeal she had endured.
“Thanks,” Helen whispered, making her way over to retrieve her gloves. "I've gone through everything in the notes. The attempt was pretty severe."
You nodded, taking in the gravity of the situation. The silence was broken only by the soft beeping of the monitors as you both began your work. Each movement was deliberate, and each procedure executed with precision and empathy. You adjusted the IV drip, checked the vital signs, and made sure everything was in order.
Sometime later, Helen had left, her pager going off as her presence was needed with another incoming patient.  The room seemed to hold its breath, but it was only you. The machine to your right, making sure the woman was still breathing.
You read over her notes once more.
“Female, 5’7…” You ramble aimlessly to no one as you find yourself unable to voice the rest.
The laceration on her neck caught your attention. The wound stretched across her delicate skin, a jagged seam where the surgeons' skilled hands had meticulously stitched the deep gash closed. The edges of the cut were puckered slightly, evidence of the trauma dealt with by the knife paramedics found next to her unconscious body. Judging by the shape, it seemed like she plunged rather than sliced, the offending weapon, then, pulled out instead of left inside. She was quite malnourished, her cheeks hollowed out, collarbone visible as the gown drowned her thin figure. She lacked a sufficient amount of muscle. You wondered how someone could go unnoticed without eating for several days. It was as if she had become a ghost, fading away in plain sight.
The woman looked ill - eyes sunken with abnormally pale skin. Drifting down her body, you noticed her legs. A horrified gasp threatened to leave your lips.  Raised red lines covered the expanse of her legs, some scabbed up, some clear burn marks that had turned into blisters. Her arms were just as bad, marred with a history of wounds that ran from her wrists to her shoulders.
Behind all the equipment, her face was almost unrecognisable. Her hair was what stood out the most, the auburn curls matted with blood. A sense of familiarity washed over you, the red striking your curiosity.
You couldn't tear your gaze away as you watched her stir. Unsure if she was waking or simply moving unconsciously, you remained still, not wanting to startle her. But then her face contorted with pain, and her lashes began to flutter open.
The sheets rustled as she tried to turn, her discomfort evident from the way she struggled against the tubes and wires tethering her to the medical machinery. You couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her, lying there in such a vulnerable state. No identity. No family to be there for her.
"Stay still, please.” You whispered softly, stepping closer to her bedside. “You're in the hospital. You’re safe."
Her eyes, clouded with pain and confusion, met yours for a fleeting moment before flickering away. She seemed to be trying to process where she was and what had happened.
“Paramedics found you unconscious and rushed you in.” You explained gently, hoping to offer some semblance of clarity amidst the chaos of her thoughts. “You had a wound to the neck. We’ve managed to close it, so don’t move around too much. Otherwise, you might open the stitches.”
Her gaze drifted back to you, and for a moment there was a flicker of recognition in her eyes. It was fleeting, gone almost as quickly as it had appeared, but it was enough to make your heart skip a beat.
You saw as she went to speak, only to find pain and a heavy weight against her tongue. “Careful. You shouldn’t try to speak yet. We’re not sure how much damage has been done to your vocal cords.”
As if she didn’t hear you, she continued fidgeting, fighting against the intrusion in her mouth, panic overriding.
“Hey, listen to me,” you coaxed, voice soft but firm, your hand reaching out to settle over hers, the glove long forgotten. “I need you to calm down, please. You’re going to be okay. You just need to rest your voice.”
Her eyes darted to you, wide with fear and frustration, and you squeezed her hand gently, offering what little comfort you could.
“It’s going to be alright, just take slow breaths. Focus on that.” You started to breathe deeply, deliberately, hoping she'd follow your lead. Inhale... exhale... in a steady rhythm, like waves lapping against the shore
As you continued to focus on stabilising her breathing, your eyes inadvertently met hers, and in that moment, you were drawn into the depths of those vibrant green orbs. They held a world of pain, swirling like a tempestuous storm beneath the surface. Yet, amidst the turmoil, there's a glimmer of familiarity that tugged at the corners of your memory.
There’s something about her you can’t make sense of.
Why does she look so familiar? Who is she?
“Do I know you?” You almost asked, but then suddenly, the door to the waiting room clicked open, and Helen strode in, her expression wavering as she noticed the woman awake. “She’s awake already?!” Shock and bewilderment visible on her face.
She advanced, quickly spewing off questions in your direction, as her eyes narrowed in on the woman, assessing her condition with a quick, practised glance.
"She's awake, a little panicked about being in a hospital, but also a bit disoriented," you explained, voice calm despite the urgency of the situation. "Vitals are stable for now.”
With that, you stepped away, dropping her hand you had forgotten you were still holding, as Helen went to introduce herself. Your lunch break was coming up and before you could turn to leave the room, Helen stopped you. "Thank you for staying with her," she said softly, "There was a car accident. Two little girls rushed in for surgery. They needed me."
You nodded in understanding. You couldn’t fault her. Every day seemed to bring a new challenge, a new story, and today was no different. This Jane Doe was no different.
Before you could delve deeper into your thoughts, she interrupted, “Anyways, I’m here now and pager is off,” she drew your attention to the device in her pocket, “Boss’s order...  now go take your lunch break.”
With a small smile, you left the room, the door softly closing behind you. Walking down the hallways, your mind buzzed with curiosity about the woman. Her face – those eyes - nagged at the edges of your memory, like a puzzle waiting to be solved.
Where do I know you from, Jane Doe?

The Feral One • Chapter 4
Finnick x Reader
Series Masterlist Link
I’m on a roll with my writing! Was able to grind out another chapter today. Lmk what you guys think of the story so far :)
Content warnings - descriptions of death and lots of angst
Tumblr media
My love, you have my heart for all of eternity. And if I die in that arena, my last thought will be of your lips.
You and Finnick had never been anything more than friends, although friends feels like an understatement to describe what you are to each other. After your games, you lived in Victors Village with your family, doing your best to heal.
When your family was killed after your victory tour, the victors deemed that you weren’t stable enough to live alone. You were only 17 and had nobody left to take care of you.
Finnick had volunteered to move in temporarily until you were better, but better never happened. He felt guilty about how he mentored you. He had told you that what you did in the arena didn’t matter. It didn’t matter how many you killed, or how you killed, it was a game and to play it you had to be entertaining and win sponsors.
So, you entertained. You joined the career pack, hoping they would take out most of the other tributes for you so there would be fewer for you to worry about. That only worked for a week.
One week in, your district partner was killed and you were on the outs. The alliance would turn on you at any moment, so you had to strike first.
You lay awake in the arena, nearly two weeks into the games, as the pair from one were on watch. They thought you were asleep, just as you had hoped they would.
“Let’s kill her now,” Gimena stated.
“How?” Aries replied.
“I’ll wake her up and ask her to go pee with me. You’ll follow and provide back up if the fight drags on longer than necessary,” she told him.
“I doubt you’ll need me but go ahead,” Aries chuckled. “She’s all yours.”
You can still feel Gimena’s hand on your arm, shaking you awake.
“Hey,” she whispered. “I need to go pee. You’re coming with me as guard.”
You nod and follow her into the trees, preparing to use the knife hidden in your sleeve. She makes you walk in front of her, plotting how to attack you. She wasn’t fast enough.
You quickly whip around and fling your knife into her throat, killing her immediately. Because there was no scream, Aries thought the cannon was yours, so he didn’t panic.
If you were going to kill the careers, it had to be now. You removed your only knife from Gimena’s body and climbed into one of the trees. Hopefully only Aries would come looking. It’s hard to kill three people with one knife.
Aries came crashing through the forest a few minutes later, calling out for Gimena. You waited until he stumbled upon her body before flinging your knife into it the side of his head, directly below his ear. The canon wasn’t immediate, but it was quick.
You hopped down from the tree to retrieve your knife, only to be tackled to the ground by Floyd, the boy from 2.
“What the hell did you do four?” he shouted, pushing his spear down onto your throat to choke you. What worried you wasn’t the spear, but the fact that you couldn’t spot Hals, his partner.
You wiggled your fingers in an attempt to reach the knife but it was too far. Oxygen was leaving your body and you needed to think fast.
Your sudden growl caught him off guard, causing him to momentarily lose focus. The pressure on your throat let up just enough for you to turn your head to the side and spot Aries’ sword stuck under his body, barely within reach.
Hals arrived on the scene just in time to watch Floyd’s head roll away from his body. She let out a yell before charging at you, machete in hand. She managed to slice up your cheek, but found herself dead moments later. You had jumped on her and beaten her to a pulp, not caring that the machete was digging into your face.
Those four weren’t your first kills in the arena, nor were they your last. Nobody else in the cage with you stood a chance.
“Hey,” Finnick sighs as he enters your room. He’s still in his outfit from the interview. “Can we talk?”
You nod and he comes to sit on the edge of the bed.
“I need to ask something very important of you in the arena,” he starts and you already feel yourself getting nauseous with anxiety. “I need you to help me keep Katniss and Peeta alive.”
This request shocks you. Finnick had told you about potentially allying with 3, 7 and 12 but asking you to control yourself around a firey person like Katniss was like asking a baby not to cry near loud noises.
You shake your head at him, hoping he understands how you can’t promise him anything of that sort. In reality, you can’t even promise him that you’ll be in control of yourself enough to not hurt him.
“Y/N,” Finnick sighs. “There’s a plan to break some of us out of the arena and take us far away from the capital where we can help change Panem. But, we need Katniss and Peeta alive in order for it to work.”
“Just kill me now,” you whisper. “I can’t do any of this.”
“Yes you can!” Finnick states in frustration. “I know it’s hard but I’ll be with you the whole time. We will get through this together.”
You give him a meek “ok” to quell his nerves, but deep down you know that this wouldn’t work. You know what you have to do.
“Can you stay tonight?” you ask. This takes him off guard as you’ve never let him stay in the same room as you at night, worried you might hurt him.
“Do you think that’s a good idea?” he asks, knowing his nightmares might set you off.
“No,” you sigh. “Sorry. Forget I ever asked. Goodnight Finnick”
“Goodnight”

Touch her and Die
On your drive to your best friends Sarah’s house, your car breaks down and you’re attacked. But Rafe comes to your rescue. Her older brother you’ve barely spoken too. And he’s eager to replace your fear into pleasure.
Yeah okay I needed to get this out too omg. “Touch her and die.” Is absolutely him. Idk when Prey part three will come out because I need to flesh out another idea. But yeah this man has me in a boxer hold.
Moodboard
Warnings! Reader gets hit and Attempted assault (not by Rafe) Violence! Female recieving oral! Praise! Dark! Rafe (Kinda but canon he would do this) very short and not proofread okay bye.
You were running as fast as you could down the sun setting dark road. Your car broke down as you were driving to your best friend Sarah Cameron’s house. You called her repeatedly but she didn’t answer and normally you’d have the patience but it was cold and rainy. You had decided to walk to the nearest fishing shack when you heard someone whistling.
A man in a hood was obviously following you and gaining momentum. “Hey, I fucking see you!” He shouted.
That’s when you started running. Thankfully you wore casual shoes but your legs were growing tired as minutes went by and he wasn’t letting up. “Stop fucking running, bitch!”
Your hair was whipping around your face, sticking from the rain as your arms flailed. You dropped your phone a dozen feet ago. “Help!” You started screaming. “Someone help!” But there were no houses nearby. Only a swamp.
You distantly heard a car as a hand grabbed the back of your shirt. “No!” You shrieked as you were thrown on the gravel. The man was middle aged, lust and anger lighting up his dark eyes.
His intent was clear as he ripped off your jacket, exposing your low cut t-shirt. “Perfect tits,” He licked his teeth and you kicked him.
He let go for a second, giving you time to turn on your side and attempt to claw yourself away. “Get off of me!”
“Shut the fuck up!” The blow came across your face. A hard backhanded slap. Tears sprang in your eyes as he covered your mouth with his free hand.
Your heart was slamming in your chest and you had no idea how this would end.
That was until you heard rapid footsteps approaching. A blur of a tall figure went past your blurry vision.
“Get the fuck off her!” A deep voice bellowed and the weight was ripped off your body. You gasped for air, coughing from the anxiety that froze your whole body.
You sat up on your elbows and gasped. Rafe Cameron had tackled the man, straddled him as his own jacket started sticking to his body. His hair falling in front of his eyes. “Motherfucker,” He growled and clenched his fist.
He started punching him, holding him by the shirt and wrestling him easily in place as his beating became relentless. “Don’t. You. Ever. Fucking. Touch. Her! She’s. Mine!”
Rafe was probably starting to black out. The man’s face was completely bloody, his nose crooked and his eyes were shut. The sounds were wet and another crunch came from his fist flying. You didn’t want him to go to prison for murder so you quickly scrambled to your feet.
“Rafe! Stop!!” He didn’t hear you.
“RAFE!” You screamed louder, causing him to jolt and freeze. He spun around, still holding him by the collar and his eyes were wild. Blue irises blown out by his pupils.
“It’s okay, let’s go. He’s probably dead.” You whispered, almost inaudible as a storm started crowding the sky. Rafe cast him a dark look and threw him down. His shirts were dripping with rain and blood.
Rafe walked over to you and his hand settled on either side of your cheeks. You flinched, pain started to settle in from the slap and he shook his head. “My poor girl, I couldn’t get here soon enough.”
You were taken back by the affection in his touch and voice. He barely paid any attention to you when you were over. Only a nod in passing and a friendly hello. You on the other hand were obsessed much to Sarah’s dread. His handsome face softened as he wrapped his arm around your waist and lifted you bridal style. “Come on. Let’s get you to the car.”
His hold was strong and secure as he placed you into the gray SUV back seat where there was more room for you to stretch. Your legs were sore from running, your throat scratchy from screaming. Rafe rummaged around and brought out an extra shirt, a long sleeved white one that you would swim in.
“Here. This is nice and dry,” he said softly.
Without a care, you lifted off your soaked shirt, exposing your breasts in your bra as you shimmied his on. His eyes never left yours.
Rafe was too tall to fit in comfortably with you but he managed to shrink himself into the floor in front of you. “Shouldn’t bruise too bad.” His mouth pressed to a thin line. “I should make sure the fucker is dead.”
“No, please don’t leave me,” you started crying openly, clutching at his shirt. “I don’t want to be alone. You saved me,”
“Shhh, no don’t cry, baby. I’m here. Thank god I was driving by,” He cooed and his long digits cupped your jaw while his other skimmed your shorts around your hips.
“I can’t stay away from you anymore. You need me. Need me to protect you, hold you and…” Rafe leaned up and pressed his lips to yours.
You eagerly returned the kiss, opening your mouth and sucking his bottom lip. You needed the distraction and his entirely dark demeanor.
Rafe expertly unbuttoned your shorts with one hand, his ravaging mouth inhaling every breath, his tongue against yours with a pornographic moan.
Your own fingers locked in his blonde strands and pulled. You needed him closer, impossibly close. He defended you. Willing to kill for you.
“No one touches you, no one lays a hand on my girl. You’ve always been my fucking girl.” Rafe grunts as rage radiates off him as he rips away.
He drags off your panties. Wet from both outside and your own arousal. His big fingers spread you open as he sinks lower and lifts your thighs over his shoulders. “This is all mine. This cunt is mine.”
Rafe's face buried in your pussy and a whimper escapes you as his tongue lays flat and laps at your clit with a moderate speed. You were grasping at anything, your mind going hazy as he rolled your hips against his face, making you grind as he fucked you with his tongue.
He dipped it inside you, pressing through your tight walls as you cried harder. “Please make me cum, please,”
“Good girl, that’s it. Beg for it,” He said with desperate commands. “That’s what I needed to hear.”
Your core tightened, your stomach tensing as a bolt hit you with more intensity than you’d ever made yourself cum. You spilled all over his still moving lips and his chin. He let you ride it out, satisfied with your submissive and grateful attitude.
Rafe pulled back, the lower half of his face gripping with your cum, and he swiped it away with the back of his hand. “Hmmm. I love the taste of a good girl. But let’s go. I need to make sure you’re feeling completely taken care of.”

blurb rec:: in ibiza with reader leah keira and alex, reader and leah have been together for a while but the public don’t know, however leah gets drunk at the ibiza party and posts a picture with her and reader kissing under the fireworks that alex had took and tags reader and posts it on her close friends insta story. however wakes up the next day to her phone blowing up and alex and keira shouting her she then realised she posted it on her public story and not close friends and basos outed their relationship maybe like fluff to chaos/angst back to fluff at the end
oops. | Leah Williamson
Tumblr media
“Leah, babe, calm down.”
Your girlfriend was getting drunk off her tits and when she was like that she loved to manhandle. Even you knew that after only a few months of dating.
You hadn’t revealed your relationship to the public yet, having had quite a close friendship as teammates you didn’t want anyone to think differently of you both and of course the overwhelming love her fans have for her scared you.
You had already had close call with the paps, a bunch of photos of you all on the boat spread across the media wasn’t ideal and you thanked the heavens none of them were when you and leah were by yourselves.
Leah kept reassuring you that it didn’t matter if you got caught, although you knew she thought differently and she was making it quite hard to keep your relationship closed.
She was currently gripping on to you standing up, trying her best to get you to dance with her but you couldn’t stop laughing at how pissed she was.
You had to admit you were pretty tipsy too but she had the bad inherit of being a lightweight.
You had your back pressed against her front as she roamed her hands around your body, you kept having to relocate her touch whenever it got too close for comfort.
“Leah..”
“Baby, relax.. now one is going to recognise us here. Just be normal.” Leah whispered in your ear before pressing a soft kiss behind, trailing them down to your shoulder.
You allowed her hands to continue roaming as you looked around, finding that every guest here was too drunk to even know what was happening.
“You guys, keep it in your pants okay? Some people here are single and want to have fun.” Alex shouted from her position, you both not bothering to release each other as you looked towards her direction.
The loud bangs of fireworks was what loosened your hold before you relaxed at the pretty colours, laying your head back on Leah’s chest.
“I love you.” Leah admitted, yourself whipping your head around to look at her as best as you could, mouth slightly open in shock.
You’ve never said those three words before. Neither of you.
Your mouth curved up in a smile as your gaze flickered across her face to see if she was serious or not before pulling her towards your lips by her chin.
You both smiled against each other before the kiss turned into more of a make out session, yourself turning around to face Leah for an easier position.
“I love you too.” You whispered as you leant back in, tongues dancing together as you feverishly kissed each other.
“You’re so gross!” You heard Alex moan and you both pulled away, cute giggles surrounded you both before your eyes shifted towards Alex, seeing her taking photos of you both.
“No! Do not post anything, Alex.” You exclaimed as you tried to snatch her phone off her to delete it, her just pulling it in to cradle it against her chest.
“Alex, please.” Leah begged as she tried to fight her for it.
“Why not? Your obviously not going to come out any time soon, i’ll just do it for you. I’ll help.” Alex tried to reason with you both as she held her phone up high once she jumped up to stand on the little sofa you had.
Keira was too busy with Laura to bother helping.
“Alex! I swear to god, i’ll buy you another drink if you don’t post it.” You negotiated calmly, you really didn’t need this right now.
You saw her think before she jumped down, handing Leah her phone to delete the post as she dragged you towards the bar.
Leah’s thumb hovered over the delete button before she gazed over the pictures, they were perfect. A perfect capture, so she airdropped them all to her phone before getting rid of the evidence on Alex’s.
She favourited one of the photos and posted it to what she thought was her close friends, although her vision was too fucked up to realise the button she was actually pressing.
Her attention after she posted it was on you when you made your return, holding out a glass for her to take before locking your lips back on hers.
The following morning was rudely interrupted my multiple buzzes coming from both your phones. The remarkable headache pounding in both your heads wasn’t helped by the noise, both of you groaning at the interruption.
“Leah! Y/N!” You heard the voice of keira shout behind your door, knocking on it slightly panicked.
You moaned again, slapping a pillow over your head as you nudged Leah to answer.
“What is it?” Leah had tumbled towards your bedroom door, swinging it open to reveal Keira and Alex with a concerned look.
“It may be a problem or it may be a blessing but.. you might want to check your socials.”
“Why do we need to check our socials?” You asked before picking up your phone from the nightstand, sitting up as you read the first notification of the millions that were on your lock screen.
“Leah? What have you done?” Your hands trembled as you searched everywhere to find the cause of all this, hair dishevelled around your phone to hide your face.
“I haven’t done anything? Not from what i can remember.. why?” She hesitantly asked before rushing towards her own phone and doing the same as you.
“You posted the photo i took of you both. On your main story.” Alex admitted as she scratched her head, most likely going to get the blame from Leah.
“No? I posted that on my close friends, right.. right?”
Alex slowly shook her head as she tapped the side of her phone on her palm, grimacing slightly at the scene as Leah found her answer before they both slowly evacuated.
“Oh fuck. Y/N, i’m sorry. I.. fuck i’m so stupid!” Leah’s hands flew up to her hair as she started to pace, mumbling to herself how she was going to fix this.
“Hey, hey.. Lee it’s okay. It’s okay, i’m not mad.” You crawled to the edge of the bed, trying to reassure her whilst reaching for her hand.
“I’ve just ruined everything! Our privacy and our lives, this isn’t okay? Besides you weren’t comfortable yet, we’ve been dating for 6 months.” She rambled as she looked anywhere but at you until you tugged her down to sit on your lap.
“6 months is long enough, we’re comfortable. It’s fine, if others have done it, we can too. It’s going to be okay.” You reassured her as you practically cradled her, wiping away some of the stranded tears falling down her face.
“I just don’t want to lose you, you’re too special to me.” She spoke before she hid her face into your neck, hiding her emotions.
“You’re not going to lose me. I don’t know if you remember last night but we said our i love yous and that’s baseline evidence that we are ready for this chapter, okay? Your stuck with me, however stupid you are in the future you are stuck with me forever, silly.” You whispered into her hair as you rocked yourselves slightly before pulling away to take her cheeks in your hands, pecking light kisses around her face which made her pretty smile reappear.
“I love you stupid.”

Bibliophile; Pt. ii
Kaz Brekker x Bibliophile!wife!reader
Tumblr media
Summary: After Jesper watches a display of affection between his boss and his co-crow (hehe) he talks to Nina about it, eventually involving Inej and the heartrender in an investigation
a/n: this part of the storyline takes inspo from @undiscovered-horizon’s fic “Four Crow Investigation” which you can find here! i rlly recommend their stuff you should check them out!
Warnings: Mostly the same stuff as last time, you will need to read pt. i so go check her out first, Kaz is less angsty bc he’s married blah blah blah, (i’m just going to copy and paste the ones from pt. i tbh lmao) Kaz can tolerate reader’s touch, mentions of alcohol and drinking it, fluff for DAYS, reader uses she/her pronouns and is described as female, marriage??, the crows are about 22 in this (which is what i imagine to be in the show), OOC Kaz (i tried y’all)
Pt. i !!!
“I’m telling you, Nina! He kissed her forehead! There’s something going on here.” Jesper’s hands flailed about wildly as he expressed his concern to the girl across from him.
“I don’t doubt you, Jes. We just need to go about this carefully. Tell Inej.” The heartrender sipped her tea and waved the boy to go find their friend.
~
“Oh, I’ve known. I just can’t tell whether they’re just dating or married, it’s hard when they go about it so delicately. It’s really sweet, actually.” A soft smile lit the Suli girl’s face.
“Argh! I need to know! The anticipation is killer, I need to tell more people about this. Wylan!” The Zemini boy sauntered out of the room shouting.
“Saints, Jesper, carefully also means quietly! They’ll know we know if they hear us shouting.” Nina cautioned him.
“Who’ll know you know?” Y/n entered the kitchen gracefully and quietly. Even Inej was slightly taken aback. “What do you know that’s so secret? Can I have some of this Nina?” She gestured to the tea pot.
“Sure! And nothing too important, just the usual barrel gossip.” The Corporalnik laughed cooly as Y/n began to ascend the stairs.
“Alright. See you guys.” She giggled and waved to her three friends.
“That was too close.”
Inej and Jesper nodded together, all eyes falling on the boy.
“Stop yelling about top secret information, idiot.” Nina whispered.
~
“They know, Kaz” Y/n entered his office and sat in the chair opposite himself.
“About us together or our marriage?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Probably just us together, but I wouldn’t put it past Inej to know. We should just tell them, love.”
“How do we tell without telling?” Kaz questioned his wife as she used her best impression of his famous scheming face.
“I have an idea.” She smiled
“Do you know?” The boy smirked back at her, ready to listen.
~
“Oh, Demjin left some papers out.” Matthias walked past the kitchen table with a buttered piece of toast in hand, eyes rolling and head shaking.
“What do they say?” Jesper rushed the table with vigor and looked through some of them.
“Nina, they’re married! For three years! They’ve been wed since they were nineteen! Their marriage certificate is right here! Can you believe it?!”
“I really can’t.” Y/n’s voice carried from the bottom of the stairs to Jesper’s ears as he whipped around and pursed his lips.
“Morning, Y/n.” the boy waved a little and scrambled to the couch to attempt to disappear.
“Mrs. Brekker. Thats her official title, anyway.” Kaz waltzed in and placed a kiss to his wife’s cheek and continued to his arm chair in their living area.
Nina ran a hand over her face and gave the sharpshooter a look.
“Good going, Jes.”
The group laughed, Y/n sat on the arm of Kaz’s chair and linked their pinkies.
“Tell us everything. How did he propose?” Wylan leaned toward the two.
“Well, we were on a job…”

[05:34] angst to fluff, one-shot
Pairing: Choi San x Female Reader
WC: 2k
Warnings: small mentions of drinking (wine), subtle hints of anxiety, an awkward situation in public
Tumblr media
Your hands shake beside you, heart hammering in anger as your eyes well up with tears. “That’s not what I intended to happen, San. I would never intentionally fuck up something that meant so much to you!” you throw your hands in the air as you speak, brows furrowed in frustration.
San is quiet; calm. Except his jaw is clenched, eyes narrowed and the dimples you love so much are nowhere to be seen. You want to throw up at the sheer hatred you see in his eyes.
His tongue pokes the inside of his cheek as he takes a deep breath, though the tension in his shoulders stays. “you’re saying it’s not your fault but if you were just nice to her, none of this would’ve happened!” he exclaims angrily.
“I was nice to her!” you cry out desperately. your face is crumpled in pure despair as you hear his next words. “clearly, not enough! so when I go back to work and lose my promotion because my crazy jealous fiancée couldn’t act civil, how will you still say that it’s not your fault?"
You hadn’t meant to cause a scene. San had asked you to come with him to a work party, one announcing his job promotion and you’d been delighted. except upon arriving, he had immediately been torn from your side by fellow coworkers, and while you were nervous, you knew you could handle yourself alone.
the problem arose when you went to use the restroom and in walked three girls, ones you saw speaking to San earlier while casually touching his arms. immediately uncomfortable, you quickly dry your hands intending to leave as soon as you could, except the black-haired one in the middle locks the door before walking right up to you.
she smiles, pearly white teeth and crimson lips, “you’re Sans girlfriend, right? I’m Yuna, his friend.”
if it weren’t for the fact that she locked you inside, you might’ve found her friendly. You smile, tight-lipped yet respectful, “I’m actually his fiancée, y/n. it’s nice to meet you, Yuna.”
her smile sours at your reply, and her friends ignore you entirely as they apply their makeup in the mirror. you know what will occur next is not something peaceful, having watched enough chick flicks to realize things would turn messy if you didn’t leave now. you bow in passing as you walk towards the door, swiftly moving past Yuna and unlocking it with a smile and nod.
except it wasn’t over then, and 30 minutes later, Yuna stands in front of you, her cherry lips parted in shock with a large red wine stain on her white dress. she begins to cry, soft sobs leaving her throat and her friends comfort her while looking at you with rage.
you open your mouth to say something; anything, but Yuna whips her head up and speaks, her voice intending those surrounding you to hear, “I haven’t done anything with San! We’re just friends, I would never go after a guy that’s taken!” her bottom lip curls into a pout. she looks at you with sadness, round eyes filled with tears as she bursts into more sobs. “you didn’t need to dump the wine on me, I’ll stay away from San, I promise!”
you’re in shock, unsure what to do as the circle of Sans coworkers look at Yuna in pity and stare at you with ire. you want to defend yourself, but how could you possibly shout that you hadn’t dumped anything on her, rather, that she dumped it on herself? who would they believe, the coworker with wet eyes or the outsider who stands before her?
but then you remember San; your fiancée, your best friend, and your soulmate. except before you can search the crowd for him, you feel a grip on your wrist as you’re pulled from the scene. you can hear him whispering apologies as he bows to fellow coworkers, but you’re too stumped at the entire situation while he brings you back to his car.
so that’s how you’re here, in your apartment at 12:32am shaking in distress as you are blamed for a situation that was not your fault. but you could handle Yunas friends blaming you, you could handle their coworkers looking at you with distaste, however, what you could not handle was San, your San, looking at you with loveless eyes as if you were nothing but a pesky, immature girlfriend. you hate that he trusts you this little; that your word wasn’t enough to him. you know you would believe him had the roles been reversed, and perhaps that is what hurts you most.
“I don’t know what you want me to say, San. I told you I didn’t do it, she poured it on herself and if you can’t believe me then maybe that says something about this relationship,” at your last sentence his face drops. his shoulders have released some tension and his eyes carry less hatred. but it’s not enough for you anymore. hurtful words have been thrown your way and you didn’t think you could stand to look at his cold gaze any longer.
you take a deep breath before wiping your cheeks and grabbing your own car keys. San has stepped forward, he looks confused as you turn to him, “I’m going to stay at my friend's house tonight. Go get some sleep and we’ll talk soon.” you utter tiredly yet no less firm.
he looks slightly panicked as his hand darts up to grab your wrist, but you aren’t in the mood to explain yourself any longer; you shake his hand off and wait for him to reply.
“wait.. you’re leaving? we need to still.. let’s just talk about this. don’t leave before we resolve this.” he pleads softly. the anger has washed from his form and his face holds nothing but a soft frown, fury nowhere to be seen. but it’s still not enough, at least not right now. “no, San. I don’t think I can properly speak to you right now after hearing you blame me for something that was not my fault. you made it clear that you don’t trust me. I need space.” you glance up at him before looking to the door, “sleep it off and I’ll see if I’m in the mood to talk tomorrow.”
But San isn't angry anymore, no, he could handle losing his job promotion, hell, he could handle losing his job entirely. what would destroy him most is losing you, and he feels guilt claw at his chest when he thinks about the words he carelessly spewed tonight. he needs you to know he's sorry, but how can he do that if you're gone? San looks at you in agony, eyes filled with anguish at the mere thought of you leaving right now. “do you have to? can you just stay? please? I’m sorry, I’m sorry for all of this but please let’s just sit down and talk.” he swallows and bites his lip, tears springing to his eyes, “don’t go.. don’t leave me” he pleads. "At least let me apologize."
the sight of his tears brings you pain, but you know you need the space for at least one night. you sigh and approach him. his teary eyes stare into your sad ones while you cup his reddened cheeks and kiss his forehead.
“I’ll be back tomorrow, san-ah. I’m hurt, but I still love you, and we will still talk.. but right now I really need the space. I hope you can respect that." you speak softly, aware of his fragile state despite the fact that you, too, are hurting just as much, if not more than he is.
Sans lips press together in another frown as he nods and kisses your temple gently, "Okay, I understand. I still want you to know I'm sorry, and I love you." your eyes fill with tears at the gesture and comment before you turn to leave.
You spend the night with your friend, updating her on what happened at the party. she tells you to leave San for good, but even she knows you would never do that, at least not over something like this. you arrive back at the apartment sometime in the afternoon, taking your time to reflect on the argument and process how you felt. you come to the conclusion that you will forgive San once he apologizes, though he will have to make it up to you with more than a simple 'sorry' this time.
you place your keys on the counter, taking off your jacket, and hanging it up. you look around in question, wondering where San was and how he could leave without saying anything when the two of you had yet to resolve yesterday's argument. you pad over to your shared bedroom, opening the door, and walk towards the lump on your bed. you pull back the cover and smile at the sight.
Sans hair is splayed out on the pillow, cheek smushed with his lips in a pout. your smile dims when you notice the redness beneath his eyes, realizing he must have cried quite a bit. you cup his cheek, rubbing your thumb underneath his eye as you lean down and place a gentle kiss on his forehead.
when you raise your head, his eyes flutter open. "morning, baby" you whisper with another kiss, this time to his nose. he crinkles his nose cutely at the action, before sitting up and attacking you in a hug. you fall on the bed with a soft thud while he lays his head on your chest and rubs his cheek on you; an endearing habit he had when he needed comfort.
you open your mouth to speak, but he beats you to it. "I'm sorry. yesterday I was a complete ass. there is no excuse for how I behaved or the things I said." he lifts his head up and looks at you, face inches apart, "I was afraid to lose my promotion, but still, I shouldn't have blamed you for something that wasn't your fault." he sighs and the two of you sit up facing each other.
"I..I'm so incredibly sorry for what I said and the way I handled the situation." he pauses and reaches for your hand; you notice his is shaking. "I've been so worried about my job, that I treated you like shit even though I knew it was wrong. I know it'll take time for you to fully forgive me," he squeezes your hand and looks you in the eye, "but I hope you know I love you, and I'll do my best to make things right."
you smile tearfully at his formal-like apology. while the wounds were still fresh, seeing his serious demeanor and hearing his reassuring words that he did truly love you was comforting. still, though, there was one thing you couldn't shake off; one comment that had you spiraling. "Do you still think I'm a crazy jealous fiancée?" you utter lightly, though your heart feels heavy when you ask.
San seems to feel worse at your question, as he looks at you with a pout and pulls your hand gently, maneuvering your body onto his. your head falls into the crevice of his neck. you move to look at him, until he places his hand on the back of your head softly, raking it through your hair.
"of course not! I was a dumb idiot who didn't know what he was talking about. if anything, I'm the one who gets crazy jealous." he grumbles sulkily at his last sentence, and you giggle when you realize he's not wrong. San can get jealous easily, always clinging onto you and nuzzling your neck for attention.
his words bring you comfort, and while San still has to make it up to you, you know the two of you can get through this. you place a soft kiss on his neck and hear his breath stutter before he squeezes you closer to him. you lift your head and stare at his face closely before kissing the corners of his red eyes. he blinks at each kiss and you smile at the endearing action before placing your lips on his.
yeah, the two of you would be okay. you were sure of it.

Nearly two weeks Jacob Black has not only been ignoring and avoiding Bella, but Quil and I too. Ever since the night of the movies, since his uncharacteristically rude outburst at Mike Newton. Both of my best friends were stressed about it which in turn stresses me out. I’ve called him multiple times to leave voicemails about what he’s doing to his friends, but it was to no avail - radio silence remained.
Bella said Harry Clearwater told her it was mono, but anyone could smell that bullshit from a mile away. Did mono render you catatonic? Unable to communicate with people that care about you?
An uneasy feeling settled in my gut, it had to be more. Something was keeping him from us and I want to know what that something is.
I need to know, I can’t just lose another one…

“Mom!” I shout through the empty house, trying to locate her.
A rare day we both have off to spend together and I’m about to ditch her.
“Yes, sweetheart?” I hear her voice drift from the laundry room as I make my way downstairs.
Turning as the sound of my approaching footsteps, she raises her eyebrows at my appearance - noting that my state of dress isn’t exactly for a day-in at home anymore.
“Bella called, was wondering if I’d go hiking with her? I think she just needs to take her mind off of Jake and wants company.”
My moms face falls slightly, but I can tell she won’t stop me from running to my best friend’s aid, “Just be careful and take your phone.”
“Thanks mom!” I surge forward and hug her quickly before snatching my keys from the hook by the door on my way out.
“And be back before dark!”
“Of course, love you!” I shout back.
“I love you too, honey!”
I speed almost the entire way to Bella’s - wanting to get her mind off of Jake was true, but she also wanted help finding the meadow.
As in, the meadow.
Her and Edward’s meadow.

Jasper
For months I’ve been feeling with this crack in my soul because of her and I’ve been doing it alone. Admittedly it’s my own doing, but the chafing of not really having my brother in my corner has worn away at me in way that doubles the pain of the loss.
I find myself gravitating towards his closed door, something that before Ithaca would’ve been an odd sight, and knocking on the thin wood.
“Go away.” The words rumble in his distinct baritone just loud enough for me to hear.
“No.” I answer simply, just as tired.
The door whips open in a flash and his eyes send a shock through me. Not because they’re dark with hunger - but dark with anger. And his emotions reflect it threefold.
“What do you want?” His tone raises my hackles, reminding me that my brother isn’t one to be messed with in a mood like this one.
A delicate hand curls up and around his chest, the owner of it completely blocked from view by his massive frame, and he visibly deflates. His anger dialing back a fraction at the influence of just her touch.
A slice of pain lances through me, regret or just plain loneliness at this point I’m not sure.
“Hear him out.” Rose orders him softly, kissing him on the cheek as she slips out from behind him and meets my eyes before disappearing down the hall. “Good luck.”
I reign in the laugh that threatens to bubble up at her throwing me to the wolves, but it’s another thing I’m doing to myself of my own free will, I need my brother.
Holding open the door wider for me to enter, he turns on his heel and deposits himself into the loveseat across from the tv, some muted football game flashing on it.
“I miss you and I’m sorry.” I unload on him with no preamble. No drawn out apology has ever been a requirement of his, short and to the point always a favorite to him.
A dark laugh thunders from him in a way that crushes me even more, “That’s it?”
I nod, I had thought about this conversation for months since he started avoiding me, but all my rehearsed words vacate me.
“That’s one hell of an apology.” The remote emits a small crack as his anger continues to boil. “I got no say, no one wanted to hear me out, and I’m just supposed to suck it the fuck up and just go with the flow of what’s best for the family.” He’s practically vibrating with barely constrained rage, but I let him continue. “She’s not just yours, Jasper.”
A shock jolts me for the second time, his sadness tugging at my heart heavily.
“She’s yours and that’s what makes her mine.” I can tell my confusion spurs Emmett on and he rises from the couch, “As your brother, it’s my responsibility to be her protector and you fucking ripped that away from me. You’re hurting her on purpose and it’s hurting me.”
I’m speechless as his words sink in. Familial-like bonds in a coven as old as ours are strong, but I had no idea.
“She was also my best friend-my little sister. I told her I would be there for her and you’re making me break my promise - something I’ve never fucking done.” Turning away from me to pace in a very non-Emmett move, “Are you going to say anything?”
“I had no idea-”
“You never considered, never noticed, never asked. It’s only been you in pain. You and Edward. You don’t even see what it does to Alice every time you ask her to check on Y/n.”
Her name sends agony anew through me, a thin knife that slices flesh from bone with surgical precision.
“I’m scared.” He would’ve missed my whisper if it weren’t for his supernatural hearing.
“Scared of what?” He’s before me in a flash, gripping my shoulders. “Scared of loving her?”
“Scared of her loving me! Scared of hurting her!” The house falls into dead silence, listening. “You’ve never known terror like this with Rose! You’re not afraid to kill her just from being around her, smelling her, touching her. You have no restrictions, no boundaries!” Tears of venom swirl my vision, but refuse to fall.
I push him off me and turn, attempting to reign in my distress.
“Bro-”
“I can’t do this without you. It’s like wave after wave of grief and I’m at my limit Emmett.” The seriousness in my tone softens him, love and compassion flow from him in a way that feels like his old self and it loosens the tension inside me a fraction.
“I may be angry with you, but I’ll never leave you.” My brother spins me around and engulfs me in his signature bear-hug.
Esme may be the mother of our group, but Emmett is the glue holding us all together. I’d be drowning without my brother and if his death-grip of a hug is any indication, he knows it.

Reader
“I’m pretty sure we passed that tree two times in the last hour, Bells.” Tromping behind my best friend, I keep my eyes fixed down to prevent myself from tripping over the dense foliage.
“We’re close, I just know it.” There’s a desperate edge to Bella’s voice that stops my teasing and squeezes my heart, I know that feeling. To be grasping for something out of reach to link me back to him.
Pushing through a particularly thick cluster of low-lying branches, I smack face first into Bella’s backpack.
“Bella, you can’t just stop-” Finally my surroundings make sense and I realize we’ve found it. It’s brown and sad as fuck, but we actually found it.
I spin, taking in every inch of the dead meadow as Bella drops to the ground, fingers clutching the crunchy grass. Facing the middle again, I gasp at the figure standing before us, the sound startling Bella into a standing position next to me.
“Bella and Y/n.”
“Laraunt.” His name is a choked gasp on my best friend’s lips.
“I didn’t expect to find either one of you here.” He begins pacing casually in front of us “I went to visit the Cullen’s, but the house is empty? I’m surprised they left you both behind. Weren’t you both sort of… pets of theirs?”
“Y-yeah, you could say that.” Bella answers him as I reach for her hand, a sort of dread sinking in as I think over his words and what he might be getting at.
“Do the Cullen’s visit often?”
You need to leave, darlin’. He’s not safe.
“Yeah absolutely - all the time.” Bella’s lie causes the hair on the back of my neck to raise.
“We’ll tell them you stopped by.” I chime in, trying to make it seem believable and also trying to keep the shaking from my voice - both from the deadly turn of the conversation and from hearing his voice in my head.
“I probably shouldn’t - Edward,” the name rolling of her tongue has her squeezing my hand in pain, “Because he’s pretty protective.”
“But he’s far away, isn’t he? They both are.”
Terror begins to flood my chest, he’s making sure we’re alone.
“Why are you here?” Bella flips the questioning onto Laraunt.
“I came as a favor… To Victoria.” His answer practically stops my heart and I know he can hear it.
“Victoria.” The whisper slips from me without a second thought.
“She asked me to see if either of you were still under the protection of the Cullens. Victoria feels it’s only fair to kill Edward’s and Jasper’s mates, given they killed her’s.” His eyes flicked between us, no doubt sensing the blow of both of their names. “An eye for an eye.”
“Edward would know who did it! And he’d come after you.”
Threaten him.
“Jasper would hunt both of you down.” My emotions fill my voice, the threat not as potent as it could be.
“I don’t think they will. After all, how much could you mean to them if they left you here, unprotected?” The vampire sighs, like he’s actually fucking torn, “Victoria won’t be happy about my killing you, but I can’t help myself - both of you are so mouth watering.”
“Please don’t, y-you helped us-” Bella begins to panic, but he flashes directly in front of us with his speed, fingers reaching for our faces.
“Shhh-shhh, don’t be afraid! I’m doing you a kindness - Victoria plans on killing you slowly, painfully. Whereas I’ll make it quick. I promise, you’ll feel nothing.”
“Edward I love you.” Bella’s confession slips as I close my eyes and squeeze her hand in mine. At least we go together, right?
“I can’t believe it.” The awe in Laraunt’s voice opens my eyes as twigs begin snapping in the tree line behind us.
One large wolf, black as night, emerges from the forest. Large being a gross understatement - more like the size of a fucking horse. Behind the massive animal emerges more of the same, although slightly smaller, but no less scary.
A pack of wolves. A pack of supernaturally huge wolves.
And they’re facing down a vampire, no less.
A vampire on a mission to kill us.
Run.
The command zings through me and takes charge. I yank on Bella’s arm as Laraunt bats away the first wolf like it was nothing, it’s yelp stunning her into action.
The panicked sprint through the woods for her truck is much faster this time than the hike out, neither of us stopping or looking back.
Afraid to see if anything was giving chase.
Afraid to see if the wolves didn’t buy us time.
Tumblr media
The ride back to Bella’s was tense to say the least. Too stuck in my own head to even say anything to her, the terror still coursing through my veins keep my mouth shut and fists clenched. What if Laraunt got away from them? What if he was still hunting us?
I never realized until now how scary it is, not having the supernatural protection of the Cullens.
I never realized that I took for granted the safety Jasper surrounded me with. Well, used to surround me with.
The sour thought sends another all-too-familiar painful zap through my chest.
As soon as Bella pulls into her drive, I hop out and climb into my own as she runs inside, probably to tell her dad about the absolutely massive wolves lurking in Forks’ woods.
Wolves that might’ve just saved our lives.

Request: "Hi! I was hoping you could write a request, please ignore this if you don't feel comfortable writing this. Alina introducing shy!reader to Nikolai. and she's just like quiet and in awe, but Nikolai loves. Like it took Alina three weeks to get reader to smile at her and it takes Nikolai 15 minutes to make her smile. And she feels super comfortable with him"
A/N: this is pure heartwarming fluff, though I added a lil twist to make it more exciting if that's okay. (The twist being Nikolai and reader were friends, I know, what a shock.)
Tumblr media
Your time at the Spinning Wheel seemed to blend into one, long moment. You didn't spoke to anyone if it wasn't nessecary. Mostly because you didn't know what to say, but also because you were never the type to make small talk. You always had a hard time opening up to people, or just talk to someone without getting nervous about what you should or shouldn't say. You were shy in the sense that you favored comfortable silence over pointless conversation.
When the doors to the Spinning Wheel opened, you didn't look up to see who it was. Many people came in for the past week, and you felt less and less hopeful when you realized nor Alina, nor Mal was among them. As you walked down the big entrance hall to find more bandages, a familiar voice stopped you in your tracks.
"Y/N?" You heard a woman say and when you turned, you saw Alina standing at the entrance, Mal right next to her. "Y/N!" She shouted and made a run towards you. You didn't know what took a hold of you, but you began running too, and the two of you met in the middle with a crushing hug.
The two of you squeezed each other with a painful grip, before another voice spoke up. "Can I have my girl back now?" Mal said with a smile and the two girl made space for him to hug all of them.
You basked in their warmth, before you broke the hug. "I can't believe you're here! I almost began to think that you..." You swalloed before you continued with a head shake. "It doesn't matter now. How did you get here anyway?"
"We bargained our way onto Sturmhond's ship, then found the Sea Whip and I got my second amplifier to finally end Kirigan, then we got here on a flying ship which ended with a shipwreck from the sky, and we found out that Sturmhond is secretly-"
"Nikolai Lantsov." You whispered as you looked behind them to see him step through the doors. You watched him with a mix of shock and amazement. So he's the one who saved your friends?
Alina noticed the way you stared at him, and she smiled briefly at Mal before taking your arm in hers and leading the two of you to him. "I'd like you to meet the person who saved and then betrayed us."
"Betray? That's a harsh word. And if I remember correctly, I got my fare share of punishment for it. Still hurts by the way," Nikolai pointed to the side of his face and Alina rolled her eyes at him.
"And who is that pretty lady next to you?" Nikolai asked all of a sudden and turned his head to look at you. You began placing yourself behind Alina, but she was quick to hold you next to her, where he could see you.
"Y/N, this is Nikolai, Nikolai this is Y/N, my and Mal's best friend. She's who I told you about, who helped me escape in secret. Also, an excellent storyteller." You looked at her with wide eyes, pleading to let you go, but she just sweetly smiled back at you.
"Y/N? I've been looking for you for quite some time now. I suppose you escaped with Alina, then." Nikolai extended his hand for you to shake and you accepted it. After you left go of his familiar warmth, you clasped both of your hands behind your back. You nodded in agreement.
"That's why you're here." He smiled at you, but your face remained neutral, looking at him with curiosity. "I don't want to sound like the flirt everyone seems to make me out to be, but I don't forget a face such as yours, Gorgeous." He exaggerated on the last word and it made you chuckle.
You smiled as you questioned him. "Are you sure that you're not a flirt? You seem like the biggest one, Your Higness." Your smile didn't falter as he looked back at you with amusement. "That's the worst accusation I've ever heard about myself, and believe me, I've heart quite a lot of nasty things." He said and you chuckled again.
Alina looked at the two of you with wide eyes as she tried to piece together what was happening. You connected with the prince under mere seconds. What took Alina almost three weeks to achieve, it took Nikolai only one minute to make you smile and talk to him.
Mal came to stand next to Alina and the couple watched you and Nikolai smile and laugh at each other, with genuine curiosity and confusion. They were trying to figure out the connection between you, because they didn't think that their shy friend would randomly have a conversation with the Prince.
They both noticed that you were quick to smile at him, even though you still didn't talk that much, but definitely more than you used to. They also noticed the look in Nikolai's eyes as he noticed your small movements, hoping to get a message from those, if not your words.
"This might be a wrong time and place to ask this, but I'm a naturally curious person as you know, so my question is, would you be willing to tell one of your infamous tales? I never heard a single one, while I was in the Palace." Nikolai asked you, and the question made the smile falter from your face.
For once in your life, you didn't think about the words that came out of your mouth as you answered. "There never will be a good time for this, Nikolai. Might as well do it sooner than later. Who knows when will be the next time we can enjoy our lives, without constantly worrying if the next day will come?"
Nikolai looked back at you with a newfound amazement as he looked at you. Your words certainly made an impact on him, because you were quick to look away from his intense stare, and onto the floor. You were about to excuse yourself and go away, but then Nikolai spoke up with a sweet voice.
"You've changed since the last time I saw you. You became a little more spontaneous. I was curious before, but now I'm desperate to finally talk to you." He said and you stared back at him for a few seconds, before you lightly smiled at him.
"And when should we-" Your words were interrupted by one of the Grishas, an Inferni who you've been helping in the last week.
"Y/N! I need your help! Could you come with me real quick?" She asked and with an apologetic look you nodded to Nikolai, and left with the Inferni.
------------Later at Night-----------
It wasn't until midnight that you met Nikolai again. You bid goodnight to Alina and Mal, after the three of you caught up on the past few weeks, annoying Mal to the point he almost went to ask Tamar to execute him. Twice.
You were strolling through the halls and quickly regretted not borrowing the coat Mal handed to you. The halls were cold and you only had your long sleeved, blue dress on you. Sure, you had a thin nightgown under it, but it was a sorry excuse for warmth.
You went down another corridor, when all of a sudden, the doors next to you opened, revealing a muscled chest buried in a thick green robe. After you were done studying his chest, you looked up to see a smirking Nikolai looking back at you. You quickly turned your head away from him, hiding your flushed face.
"Nice to see you too," Nikolai chuckled and from the corner of your eye, you saw him tying the robe in front of his chest, covering up the muscles. He closed the door behind him and pointed forward, indicating a walk.
He fell in line next to you, as you tried to think of something to say. You always felt comfortable in his presence, that wasn't a problem, but you were quite nervous after seeing his really-not-so-bad muscles. You never knew what lied beneath those shirts and waistcoats while you worked at the Palace.
"You know that you can talk to me, right? You don't have to be nervous about saying something wrong," Nikolai softly said and you thankfully looked at him.
After a few more seconds of silence, Nikolai stopped you dead in your tracks with stepping in front of you. You almost collided with him, had he not took a step back to make a little space between you two.
"This might come off like I'm pressuring you, but I'm dying to know, and you know that I'm not exactly the most patient person." Nikolai quickly said, and you opened your mouth to question him, but he was quick to cut you off.
"I know that I have no business asking this, especially right now, but where have you been?" He asked with genuine concern. "For the last year I was asking about you, but you vanished into thin air. I mean, with Kirigan and the attacks I understand why one might go and-"
"You asked about me?" You asked on a quiet voice, and it made Nikolai look at you like you just told him the sky is green. "Of course I did. I even tried to locate you, but it was like your entire being got sweeped off the land."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, amd you stared at him in shock. Did you really mean that much to him? Did he really try to found you of all people, during this war?
"But why?" You whispered and now it was Nikolai's turn to look at you in shock. "Why?" He breathlessly chuckled. "Why wouldn't I? You're the reason I did what I did in the last year. You kept me company while I sneeked out of the Palace, and quite honestly your words captivated me right then and there. You changed my entire perspective on everything I knew about Ravka and its people."
You looked at him with even more bewilderment than before, but took a risky step towards him, your eyes not leaving his. "And?" You asked on a soft voice, slightly tilting your head.
"And?" Nikolai asked back, and let out a slow breath before responding. "And I couldn't stop thinking about you. You were in my dreams, in my head, in the wind, you were everywhere. I couldn't stop imagining the moment I finally met you again. I could've even painted it if I had the talent for it." He swallowed as he looked down to his feet, like he was nervous.
You felt your breath get caught in your throat and you put a hand over your heart, while the other hugged your stomach. The nerves in your belly made your stomach turn in anticipation as you waited.
When Nikolai finnaly looked at you, you saw nothing but raw emotions in his eyes. Sincerity, pain and love. Yes, definitely love.
"I could write you poetry, I could paint you a hundred times, I could sing endless love songs to you. But I won't. I am no artist, Y/N." He closed that last remaining inch between the two of you and leaned closer to you, and you could feel his breath on your skin.
"Even if I'm a prince, even if I'm a bastard son, even if I'm a privateer, you are my muse. I am not an artist, but you are my muse, moye solnyshko."
[A/N: translation=my Sunshine]
His words made your heart practically burst out of your chest. You let your arms fall next to you, and took a quick look between Nikolai and his lips. Oh, to kiss him for just one moment. Would it be sweet like honey? Would it be soft like satin? Would it spin your head? You'd have to find out to know that.
"Can you," you started but the words seemed to die in your throat. Don't do this now. "I want you to," You whispered and despite what Nikolai said before, he stood there patiently, waiting for you to say what you wanted.
"Use your beautiful words, beautiful," Nikolai whispered and it was the only thing you needed to end the tension.
"I need you to kiss me." And within a second his lips were on yours. It was more than you expected. It was soft and warm, like a hug in the middle of winter. Nikolai was slow, like he was afraid you were going to vanish again if he let you go.
His hands found their way around your shoulders, and he hugged you close to himself. You clasped your hands behind his neck, keeping him from even attempting to pull away.
You had to break the kiss because you were running out of air, and the two of you panted as you tried to catch your breath. You looked at Nikolai with pure admiration, still not believing he spent an entire year looking for you, dreaming of you, thinking of you.
It made all of your sleepless night worth it. The nights you spent theorizing about where he could be, what could he be doing, if he even remembered you. This single kiss made this last year hurt a little less.
You were about to pull him in for another kiss, when a familiar voice interrupted you.
"Y/N, I've been looking for you every-" Alina said but when he saw the situation you and Nikolai were in, she quickly cleared hear throat. "Saints, I'm-I'm sorry for interrupting." She said. "I, uh, need Y/N for something. It'll be quick I promise."
She told the two of you, and you looked from her up to Nikolai, and before you could step away from him, he quickly whispered into your ear, so Alina wouldn't hear. "Meet me at your room."
You nodded while biting your bottom lip to keep yourself from smiling like an idiot. You let go of each other and you let Alina link your arms together, as she led you away.
You took a quick look back at Nikolai and saw him hiding a smile, which made you chuckle at him. The small noise made his face break out in a wide smile as he turned around.
"Mal and I were wondering if the two of you knew each other, because you were so comfortable with him earlier. Now I saw just how comfortable you are." Alina said with a light chuckle, before she continued. "You didn't seem so shy. Or is it just only with Nikolai?" She teased you and you attempted an angry glare at her, but she just giggled at you.
"Don't worry. You'll be back with your boyfriend in no time." Alina told you whick made your cheeks feel hot all of a sudden as you smiled to yourself.
For the first time in your life, you wouldn't be alone at night.

***********
You clutched your jacket to your body, running as fast as you could, your heart pounding against your chest as your lungs fought to take in more air. Your hair was whipping in the wind as you sped around the corner straight towards The Three Broomsticks. The second you burst into the pub everyone stared at you in mild shock before going about their evening.
“Y/N your late!” Rosmerta huffed making you pout.
“I know I was up late helping my sister with her homework.” You sighed as you slid the denim jacket off your shoulders before wrapping the plain black apron around your waist, putting your notepad and pen in the left pocket then your small tea towel hanging out the right pocket.
“Be warned The Marauders are playing tonight so it's gonna be packed.” Rosmerta explained as she began ringing someone up.
“O-Oh. Awesome.” You stuttered as you tried to control your emotions.
“Don’t tell me you still fancy Ja--
“I am well aware he has Lily you don’t need to remind me.” You glared at her making her eyes widen.
“Actually, they split up about 6 months ago.” Rosmerta whispered with a smirk.
“R-Really?” You whispered trying to conceal the small flicker of hope.
“There was a rumour that she found out one of his songs was about another girl.” You heard Frank whisper behind you making you jump a little.
“I hate it when you do that. That’s the most stupid rumour I’ve ever heard.” You snorted with an eye roll.
“It’s Cherry.” Her stated and suddenly you couldn’t breathe.
“I don’t think I’ve heard it.” You muttered with a frown.
You had gone to school with both the Marauders and The Valkyries. You had been friends with them for the most part but they weren’t people you overly saw outside of school. So, when school finished you never really spoke to them again. When you got a job here, you’d occasionally see them after they performed. However, when they got more popular, they started doing bigger gigs. You had even dated James in year 9 when you were both 13 but you were kids, so it didn’t last. You both thought you were so mature, calling each other baby and kissing cutely behind the side of the science block.
You grinned at the adorable memory before shaking it off just in time to see The Marauders walk through the side door. You looked up to see those same hazel eyes, even to this day you would recognise in a crowd, even after all this time they still made you heart clench. You hadn’t seen him in over a year, it felt surreal.
“Holy shit! Is that little Y/N Y/L/N?” You heard Sirius shouted excitedly making you tear your eyes away from James who was staring at you liked he’d seen a ghost.
“We were in the same year, ya’ fuckin’ numpty.” You snorted making Sirius grin.
“Hey show some respect! I'm a rockstar now!” Sirius laughed causing you to roll your eyes.
“Ha! I don’t give a shit if you're selling out 100,000 tickets love. This is my domain.” You snickered before passing him a beer.
“How’s Evan? You guys have been together since...year 10 right?” Sirius asked excitedly as he sipped his beer.
“We broke up, about 2 years ago actually.” You muttered awkwardly as you tried to busy yourself drying the rim of a glass with your tea towel.
“Oh! That sucks.” Remus sighed sadly as his eyes flickered towards James.
“Right, I'm letting in the crazies so get yourself set up lads!” Rosmerta shouted as she pointed to the small stage in the corner of the pub.
You watched the set as the boys played happily, they hadn’t changed in the slightest, even now with such a serious fanbase. They were still fun and down to earth. You watched the first few songs with interest as you served the gaggles of girls that were cheering too loudly but you couldn’t blame them. They’re in their element up on stage, like they’d always been. You chuckled as Remus and Peter told the other two they needed a break.
“We’re gonna play Cherry whilst our Drummer and Bassist take a break.” James muttered breathlessly into the mic.
Sirius began playing a beautiful tune on his acoustic guitar that you instantly felt a connection with. It almost sounded like the first random tune James created when he first learnt to play guitar. You decided to take you break and stand a little closer to the stage. This is the song Frank had said was about someone else. When James started singing you listened to the lyrics intently.
‘Don't you call him baby. We're not talking lately, Don't you call him what you used to call me.’ He looked at the floor as he sang making you frown in confusion, he usually sang with a lot more confidence, until he finally looked up to meet your eyes.
‘I, I confess I can tell that you are at your best, I'm selfish so I'm hating it.’ His eyes bore into yours and you couldn’t understand why, but you figured maybe the spotlight was obstructing his view.
‘I noticed that there's a piece of you in how I dress, Take it as a compliment. Don't you call him baby We're not talking lately Don't you call him what you used to call me’ You frowned as you realised he was wearing a red plaid shirt over a white T-shirt similar to one you had back in school. Don’t be stupid Y/N it’s not about you, you thought to yourself.
‘I, I just miss I just miss your accent and your friends. Did you know I still talk to them? Does he take you walking round his parents' gallery?’ You instantly felt your heart stop as your eyes widened. This song was about you, Evan’s parents owned an art gallery in the next town over. You looked for an escape spotting the door to the outdoor smoking area and immediately sped out the pub telling Frank you’d be back soon as you shoved past the hordes of girls.
“You okay Y/N?” You heard someone shout as you got outside.
“Is that song about me?” You asked blatantly making Remus smile sadly.
“Its one of them.” Remus answered calmly taking a pull of his fag.
“THERES MORE?” You shouted, your jaw dropping in shock.
“Yeah, there's also Best Friend that’s an old one though.” Remus laughed calmly, you grabbed the half-smoked fag from his fingertips and took a long drag of it.
“You were always...the one that got away, I guess. You dated as children, but I think James always wished you guys had waited until later in life.” Remus added making your eyes soften.
“This isn’t why Lily and James broke up is it?” You asked, guilt swimming in your gut but the question had laughing again.
“Nah, Lily came out the closet.” Remus chuckled making your eyes widen.
“O-Oh okay.” You chuckled shyly before passing the lit smoke back to Remus which he motion for you to smoke.
Remus left you to your thoughts as you took drag after drag trying to calm yourself down. Your hands were shaking causing the ash to drop off the cherry-Cherry…why was it called that? You thought curiously your nerves fading into curiosity. Just then you looked up to find those hazel eyes staring at you from the exit of the smoking area.
“Hey.” He muttered like he couldn’t quite believe you were here.
“Why Cherry?” You asked abruptly making his mouth open as if to say something but he paused for a moment before finally speaking.
“You had this red tinted lip gloss…when we dated, it was the girliest thing you owned, and it tasted like Cherry. You wore it everyday for a whole year even after we broke up, then in year 10 you started dating Evan and stopped wearing it.” He answered softly making your heart clench.
“I can’t believe you remember that. That was 12 years ago.” You chuckled in disbelief.
“I remember everything about you…about us. Like how you never used to style your hair because you’d always run your hand through it and ruin it. Or how you didn’t wear much makeup in summer because you have hayfever and are always rubbing your eyes. You used to hate the colour yellow but you think your baby sister looks amazing in it. I remember how you used to love when I’d play with your hair. I also remember the last time we really spoke, it was just after we had finished 6th form and we all went to the pub. You were out having a smoke and Evan had already passed out at the booth. I said to you that I was glad I’d met you and you replied—
—Don’t be such a sap. Just buy me somet nice when yer’ a rockstar.” You finished for him with a laugh which was quickly silenced when you looked at James hand that was holding a box in his hand.
Your eyes widened as you stared at the box like it was about to bite you. He seemed to find this amusing but he swallowed his laugh and opened to box showing you the contents. There sat a white gold chain with a white gold and rose gold cherry pendant hanging off it. He took it out the box, sliding the empty velvet box into his pocket before approaching you. You could feel tears building in your eyes as he came behind you.
“I was jokin’ ya’ fuckin’ sap.” You sniffled so quietly you were sure he heard you.
“I wanna say I forgot how much I love your accent but that would be a lie.” He chuckled happily as he lower the chain around your neck.
His fingers brushed against the skin at the back of your neck causing your body to come alive, goosebumps all over your body, you held your breath, praying this moment would never end. He did the clasp so slowly, you knew it was intentional, but you didn’t care you welcomed it.
“Can I take you out next week?” He whispered in your ear his hands brushing all the way down your spine over your clothes.
 “Y-Yes.” You stuttered almost breathlessly.
**********
You were just sliding your white strappy heels when the knock on the door came. You brushed off your white satin shirt that was tucked into a grey tight mini skirt that hugged your hips perfectly. You opened the door and instantly saw a bunch of what looked like a bouquet of flowers but when you took a longer glance you realised it was multi coloured chocolate covered fruit made to look like flowers.
“I suggest this be put in your fridge and not a vase.” James joked making you grin.
“Probably for the best. These are awesome, way better than normal flowers.” You giggled as you pulled out two gold dusted white chocolate cover strawberries before placing the ‘bouquet’ into the fridge.
“You’re wearing the lipgloss.” He muttered in shock as you passed him one of the strawberries.
“Well I’m wearing a cherry lipgloss. I don’t think they even sell the brand I had 12 years ago.” You giggled before biting into your own strawberry.
“You look gorgeous.” He muttered happily as he finished his strawberry, popping the stick in the bin before holding out his hand for you.
“I would return the sentiment but you have enough fan girls doing it for me. Where are we going?” You snickered as you slid your hand into his, lacing your fingers together.
“Thought I’d take you to that little Italian place they just opened then maybe dancing?” He muttered nervously making you soften.
“You could’ve said McDonald’s and I’d of been happy cos I’d still be with you.” You replied sweetly making him grin from ear to ear.
“Careful, you almost sound like a sap.” He teased you playfully.
“I’m not 18 and emotionally stunted. I’m  allowed to be a sap.” You argued with a cute pout on your lips.
“Stop pouting or the only place I’ll be taking you will be the old science block.” He whispered in your ear as you both exited your flat block.
“Mr Potter the scandal!” You exclaimed in a Scottish accent, a clear imitation of the time Ms McGonagall when she’s found you both behind a wall kissing. Though you had joked back your cheek we’re still painted red with James previous ‘threat’.
“Oh I miss Minnie. I wonder how she’s doing?” James sighed softly with a small smile on his face.
“I see her at Tesco a lot. She seems well. She recently retired lives just at the edge of Hogsmeade in a small cottage.” You answered with a grin.
“I miss living here. Don’t get me wrong I love being able to play music and live with my surrogate brothers but I miss the quiet here. I still come back to see mum and dad but it’s not the same.” James sighed as he looked around at everything around him as you both started walking towards the restaurant hand in hand.
“Could you not live here but still do your gigs?” You asked with a soft frown on your face.
“I never thought so but recently Remus has been talking about being closer to his parents. They moved up here a few years ago when Remus mortgaged them a little cottage with 2 bedrooms. I think he wants to settled down, have some roots. Sirius is a wild card though. He’d rather be in a new city every night. Peter only has his mum so I think he’d be happy to move back here too. So really it’s just Sirius stopping us.” James rambled making you smile at the utter familiarity of it.
“He’s dating that Pop singer right?” You laughed making James roll his eyes.
“I think she really understood him and it freaked him out so he ended it not long before we got here. That’s my guess anyway…he won’t talk to me about it.” James huffed with an eye roll.
“Idiot.” You snorted as you both saw the restaurant ahead.
James opened the door as you both approached it, his face lighting up when you leaned up to kiss his cheek before walking past him into the restaurant. James stood in front of the host with a polite smile. However when the young woman looked up her face instantly lit up.
“You’re Jame Potter right? The lead singer of the Marauders?” She asked as if trying to keep the excitement out her voice.
“Yeah we have a table booked for 7.” He replied with a smile.
“I love your new song Cherry.” She gushed as she showed him the way your table clearly not even bothering with your presence.
“Thank you! Can we get two glasses of red please? And some menus?” James asked as he pulled out your seat and suddenly the girls eyes were on you.
She scanned you with a look of mild disgust until she caught sight of something on you that seemed to have her flushing, with anger or embarrassment, you weren’t sure but you looked down and instantly realised you had the Cherry necklace James had given you on.
“Two glasses of red. Got it, here’s your menus.” She stated in a professional tone that made your eyes widen. When she walked away you turned to James with a deadpan look.
“She totally knows.” You whispered nervously.
“Knows what?” He asked with a frown.
“That I’m Cherry.” You hissed as she began coming back towards the table with two glasses of wine.
“Thank you.” You said sweetly making her eyes narrow before turning back to James.
“Can I get a quick picture and an autograph?” She asked in a sickeningly sweet tone that made you laugh behind your wine glass.
“Do you mind?” James asked you sweetly making you smile with rose tinted cheeks.
“Of course not love.” You whispered softly making him grin happily.
He jumped up, posing for a picture with the girl before grabbing a napkin and signing it for her. She gave him a bright grin before scampering off probably to text her friends. You watched as James sat down with a happily look on his face.
“You’re really in your element aren’t you?” You chuckled softly as he looked up into your eyes, sipping his wine.
“Without our ‘fans’ I really would be no where. Did you know the first record company that approached us was because a young woman who worked there, retweeted a video clip of our gig in a run down underground bar in London. She gushed about it so much a few of the higher ups saw it. Sirius got his first photoshoot because a photographer saw her teenaged daughter liking a bunch of the bands Instagram pictures. Without fans we would probably be washed up nobody’s.” He explained and you felt your heart melt.
“I’m so glad you stayed the same baby.” You whispered with a cheeky grin.
“I never called Evan baby by the way. Just wanted to clear that up.” You giggled making him flush.
“Good. I-I never called Lily it either.” James replied making you smile a sincere smile.
“Good.” You sassed playfully making him chuckle.
You both finally ordered food, flirting over the dinner table with an alarming amount of ease. It felt natural, like this was a normal everyday date night; and not the first proper date you two had ever been on. You laughed, you both got tearful and nostalgic. Everything was going swimmingly until your ex boyfriend walked in with a blonde girl you knew was his secretary.
When you both locked eyes he seemed to go through a slew of emotions ranging from sadness to love, until he caught sight of James and it all turned to anger.
“I want to say I’m surprised but I really shouldn’t be should I?” Evan scoffed quietly as he approach your table.
“Evan, how are you mate?” James tried casually making Evan visibly sneer at him.
“I’m well, thank you Potter. When did you two start dating?” He spat making James’ eyes narrow.
“This is our first date.” He stated as calmly as he could, clearly surprised by his hostility.
“I’m surprised, considering you’re the reason my girlfriend of 7 years said no to my marriage proposal.” Evan spat out and suddenly everything grew silent.
“If I remember her words correctly. She said ‘I’m sorry Evan I can’t marry you. I can’t picture my life in the future with you. I thought I’d give us a chance but I can’t take the next step when I don’t feel it.’ I obviously asked what she meant by it and she said ‘The pull.’ I had no idea what she even meant. I mean I was her first PROPER boyfriend she’d never been with anyone but me. Then I found her secret little—
“Shut up Evan.” You snapped in utter humiliation.
“I found a box full of things from when you two had you 3 month long relationship in year 9. Letters, notes with music notes on them, cute little gifts you gave her. There was even a cutely pressed flower sealed in resin. I mean I’d think that was cute if she had things like that from OUR relationship but nope. Nothing.” Evan finished making tears prick your eyes.
James was never gonna wanna see me again. He’s gonna think I’m some creepy stalker that has been obsessed with him for 12 years. You went to stand up but James reached out and wrapped his hand around your wrist.
“What did you honestly think was going to happen by telling me that she’d been longing for me just like I have for her? I also have a box filled with things from her including the red plaid top she left at mine after a party in year 11.” James snorted out proudly making your jaw drop.
You wiped the unshed tears away carefully before you glanced at Evan who looked beyond angry. He didn’t say anything else just walked to his own table silently. You turned to James who let out a small sigh making your heart clench in fear.
“I never understood why you dated that dick.” He huffed with an eye roll.
“Because you started dating Lily.” You whispered brokenly and he looked up at you with a frown.
“I didn’t start dating Lily till you started dating Evan.” He corrected making you frown.
“No I remember seeing you and Lily at Madam P’s on a date. You bought her my favourite cream puffs.” You huffed with an eye roll.
“I bought them for you! Then when I went to give them to you you were making out with Evan!” He argued and suddenly tears pricked your eyes.
“N-No cos then that would mean I wasted 7 years with the wrong person…” You whispered sadly with tears brimming your waterline.
“Oh baby…” He muttered sympathetically before standing up to kneel at the side of your seat.
“We were kids. We didn’t know better. As adults we know it’s easier to talk about things instead of assuming.” He stated gently, his hand caressing your thigh in a soothing manner.
“Come on, I’ll pay for dinner then we can go for a walk instead of dancing?” He offered sweetly making your heart pound heavily in your chest.
You gave a nod and collected your purse as he signalled for the waiter. The waiter came over with the bill which you quickly offered to pay half of, but James looked psychically wounded, so you dropped it.
He offered you his arm which you took as you both began strolling towards the park. He was quiet until we got to the floral covered entrance of the park. He clutched your hands that were resting around his bicep as he looked down at you.
“I missed you.” He suddenly said making you flush under his gaze.
“I missed you too.” You replied sweetly making him grin happily.
************
You walked into your flat, locking the door behind you and putting the latch on before throwing your keys into the bowl near the front door. You kicking off your shoes before shuffling straight towards your bedroom. When you opened the bedroom door and turned on the light,  you instantly caught sight of your boyfriend making you frown a little before you let out a squeal of happiness.
“Shit…I fell asleep.” James grumbled huskily as he sat up rubbing his eyes. He grinned at you sleepily holding his arms out.
“I thought you weren’t back till next week?” You giggled as you launched yourself into his arms.
“The show in Sheffield got cancelled cos of the rain. So we came back early.” He explained as he nuzzled into your neck.
You and James had been dating for about a month, you’d only given him a key because he was always away so you told him if he ever got back early he was welcome to chill at yours. You guys had yet to take it to the next step, you weren’t sure why he was hesitant, but for the past three days since you’d accidentally given a full view of James naked torso over FaceTime, you’d been insatiable.
“I missed you baby.” You whispered in a rather seductive tone as you settles on his lap and leaned down to kiss him softly.
“Mmm missed you too.” He mumbled as he pulled away from the kiss.
“Nope m’not done yet.” You grumbled as you brought him in for a more heated kiss.
He gasped against you lips but his hands gripped at the back of your work shirt. You moaned against his lips, your tongue sliding along his bottom lip teasingly before pulling away with a grin.
“I need a shower. You are welcome to join me.” You offered with a wink as you climbed off his lap to strip down to your undies.
“I’ll wait until your out. I’m not making love to you for the first time in the shower.” He chuckled as he stripped off his T-shirt and laid back on your bed with a smirk.
You couldn’t help the way your eyes raked over his now naked torso. It was like he was sculpted by the gods. The only thing you could think of in that moment was, I wanna lick him. He reached down and cupped his package, something that would usually make you roll your eyes but instead you found yourself wanting to drop to your knees and beg him to use you.
“Ugh it should be illegal how fuckin’ hot you are.” You huffed before stomping off to your bathroom with a pout.
When you got into the shower you sighed happily, you realised you’d thankfully shaved the day before as well as washed your hair so it saved time. You quickly put on a shower cap before stepping into the water to start washing. You used your expensive lush Snow fairy shower gel, smiling at the sweet smell. Once done you got out and dried yourself off before using the matching Snow fairy body mist.
You took the show cap off and wrapped the towel around you before wandering into your bedroom. When you walked in James looked up and immediately sat up straight. He must’ve been expecting you to come out in clothes because his face flushed softly.
“Why pray tell, are ya’ still dressed?” You smirked making him grin.
“Apologies my lady.” He exclaimed as he very dramatically dropped his pants making you openly laugh.
“Idiot.” You laughed as he threw his jeans and socks across the room leaving him in a pair of tight Calvin Kleins.
“You look like a fuckin’ Calvin Klein advert.” You groaned deciding to wind him up as much as you felt wound up.
The second the towel dropped so did James’ jaw. You smirked as you sauntered over to the bed, your hips swaying as you went. James seemed in a slight daze as he shuffled after you. You laid down, leaning up on your elbows to raise an amused brow at him.
“Fuck you’re gorgeous baby.” He groaned as he crawled onto the bed admiring you body openly.
“Been wanting this for days.” You whispered as he hovered above you, his arms trapping you against the bed.
“Oh really?” He teased his index finger trailing up your body slowly, until it reached your chin.
“Mhmm Sirius accidentally pointed the phone at you when you went to change a few days ago…haven’t been able to satisfy myself since.” You pouted playfully making him smile.
“Poor baby.” He whispered huskily in your ear before leaning down to kiss just below your ear making you gasp.
“Please James…” You whispered breathless arching again him as his hand slid downwards until he arrived at your hip.
He said nothing, instead he gave you what you wanted. His hand slid down a little further, his fingers brushing through your already wet folds. He groaned audibly as his finger pulled the wetness to your clit and began massaging in slowly tentative circles. You arched against him your moan long and full of desperation.
“Feel good love?” He asked sweetly as he began pressing kisses over your chest before taking your left nipple into his mouth, suckling on it gently.
“Mhmm…oh f-fuck…just like that baby.” You moaned as he dipped two fingers into you tight wet heat before dragging them back out putting pressure on your clit before diving back in.
“Need to taste you.” James growled as he backed down the bed until his face was level with your dripping pussy.
You suddenly felt a little panic. Evan had only done this once of twice in the years you’d been together and it was never any good for you. As if James sensed your worry he sat up a little and stared at you with worried eyes.
“I-I’ve never…I’ve only done this twice a-and I-I didn’t really enjoy it..” You whispered shyly your ears and cheeks flushing bright pink.
“I’m sorry… I thought I just heard you just say you’d only had this done twice?” He whispered in disbelief making you shrink a little.
“Fuck that come ‘ere baby. Let me change your mind.” James whispered in a slight daze as he bent your legs back exposing you but before you could feel embarrassed his tongue was on you.
You moaned at the feeling as he began leaving sloppy kisses all over your exposed heat. You keened against him try to change the feeling but you loving accidentally caused his tongue to slip a little further than your pussy. You let out an embarrassing squeak covering your face with your hands as James peered up at you with the dirtiest smirk on his face, if you’d of been feeling more coherent you’d of slapped it off.
“Interesting.” He whispered smugly as he kept eye contact and over down to lick your puckered hole making you gasp loudly which was followed by a long drawn out moan as he did it again.
“Gonna file that but of information away for another day.” James chuckled huskily before moving back to your pussy which he quickly began devouring as he slid two fingers inside your sopping wet heat.
“O-Oh shit…” You moaned loudly as he pressed his fingers into your g-spot.
“Could do this all day.” James groaned, his hips grinding into the bed like a horny teenager which shouldn’t of been as attractive as it was.
“M’Close love.” You cried out as his finger sped up but his tongue stayed gentle and precise. The combination had you clenching around his fingers but you needed something but you couldn’t quite figure it out so you took the initiative.
“Stick your tongue out baby.” You moaned and he looked up at you with a hint of surprise before he looked at you lustfully and did what you asked.
You hands slid into his hair as you began grinding against his tongue. He groaned at the sight of you using him for pleasure but you couldn’t focus. You threw your head back in pure ecstasy as you thrust against his tongue.
“Fuck yes. That’s it baby…gonna cum all over your pretty face.” You moaned as your hand gripped his hair even tighter. Finally you felt yourself tumbling over the edge your thrusts erratic and untimed but you clenched around his fingers coming undone on his tongue.
“Ahhh James.” You cried out as your legs shook with the force of your orgasm. When your body turned to jelly you released his hair letting him sit up as he licked his lips happily.
“That was so fucking hot.” James growled as he leaned down to kiss you heatedly.
“Need you…Need to be inside you baby…please.” James whispered breathlessly as he shimmied out of his boxers.
“How could I say no when you look so pretty begging.” You chuckled seductively as you reached down to guide his rather large cock into your pussy.
He pushed in slowly making your head fling back in pleasure. You’d never felt this full, it was like you could feel him everywhere. You let out a long drawn out moan, your heat clenching around him as he bottomed out. He let out a husky groan, burying his head in the crook of your neck.
“Fuck your so tight.” He growled against your neck making you chuckle.
“That because the only person I slept with was barely 5 inches.” You snorted and James let out a surprised laugh.
“That is the only time talking about an ex is acceptable in our love nest.” He laughed as he leaned up to kiss you passionately making you instantly forget what you’d even been talking about.
When he began thrusting inside you wet heat you let out an embarrassingly high-pitched moan that had you flushing as you attempted to bite your lip to contain anymore.
“Ah ah. Don’t you dare cover your moans. Wanna hear you.” James growled as he gently freed your lower lip from your teeth.
“James.” You moaned as he sped up his pace.
You flung your arms around him, your nails digging into his back as you lost yourself in the feeling of him inside you. You pulled him into a messy heated kiss, your hands sliding into his hair to grip it tightly.
“Fuck…harder p-please.”  You so yes as you pushed your hips up to meet his thrusts.
“We’re supposed to be making love baby.” He teased as he refused to speed up.
“James if you don’t fuck me like a whore I’m gonna get myself off while you get to sit there with blue balls.” You growled threateningly making his eyes widen.
“You my love have got a dirty little mouth on you.— he gave a deep thrust to punctuate his words.— Such— thrust—An—thrust—impatient—thrust—little—thrust—slut.” He growled before he began pounding into you.
“Fuck yes! M’ yer’ little slut though.” You moaned loudly making him groan, his cock twitching inside you as he began thrusting at an animalistic pace.
“S-Shit so tight and wet for me.” He moaned huskily against your neck, his hand squeezing your arse cheeks roughly.
You clung to his muscular body unable to do more than lay there and let him fuck into you like his own personal fuck toy. You could feel yourself building up again so you reached down to circle your clit but James slapped your hand away before leaning up to spit on your pussy, the whole scene was something you’d thought would disgust you but it only had you moaning as he brought his fingers to your clit.
He began circling the swollen bud as he contained fucking into you roughly. You felt yourself teeter towards the edge until he began drilling straight into your g-spot knocking your orgasm out of you like a punch. You came around his cock which triggered his own orgasm, growling through gritted teeth as he came inside you.
“F-Fuck Y/N!” He groaned deeply as his came, his thrust begin to slow down until they came to a stop. Your legs were shaking and you felt limp everywhere but you’d never felt so satisfied.
“Wow.” Was all you managed to say as James moved your left leg to lay over your right one before laying down behind you making sure he didn’t slip out.
You flushed a little at the intimacy of the whole thing but as he left soft kisses on your spine and shoulders, you closed you eyes and basked in the feeling. Usually you’d jump straight up, pee and get dressed but this felt right.
“I—
The sound of James phone ringing broke the moment and he rolled his eyes before sliding out of your pussy causing you to let out a breathless gasp. He smirked down at you as he grabbed his phone and answered the call.
“What do you mean your outside ay/N flat?” James sighed as you passed him his boxers. He slid them on after hanging up on his best friend and walking towards the front door of your flat.
“Sorry to interrupt you screw sesh but this is important!” Sirius exclaimed as he pulled out the bands shared tablet and slapped it into James hand.
“Your ex girlfriend posted a new single?” James questioned with a frown as you finally came into the room dress in James t-shirt.
The second the song finished you burst out laughing. You knew you shouldn’t of but the fact was, it WAS fucking hilarious in your eyes.
“You finally pissed off the wrong girl.” You snorted through your laughter.
“What the fuck do I do now! Everyone knows this is about me!” Sirius growled as he began pacing.
“It’s a good song?” James tried as he tried to hold back his own laughter.
“Are you serious?” Sirius screamed making you fall into another round of laughter.
“Karma. Am I right?” You smirked before plugging the tablet into you speaker with the aux cable before blasting out the song.
“I don’t speak boy shit!” You cheered as you did a little dance making James burst out laughing.

Stupid Leaf
Summary: Florence has made a new friend! (based off of an old IG post from Flo)
Warnings: Just sweetness and fluff!
“Baaaaby!” Florence shouted from the backyard. My shoulder leaned against the doorway as I adjusted my robe for the neighbors’ sake with one hand and held my coffee in the other.
“Yes darling?” The blonde looked me over my shoulder.
“Come here! Come meet my new friend.” The pure innocence and joy on her face was more than enough motivation to push off the wall and join her outside. It had to be another snail. Florence adored snails more than anything in the world. Well, besides me. ;) With closer inspection, Florence instead had a leaf on her finger. That was until it slowly moved and it became clear that the leaf was actually a little butterfly.
“Y/n, this is Gerald. Gerald, this my girlfriend, Y/n”
“Hello, Gerald. So you’re the one keeping my girlfriend from me, huh?” My hands drifted around her waist possessively while mean-mugging the stupid leaf. It quickly washed away with one glance at my beautiful girlfriend.
Her gaze was unmoved from Gerald as she gushed over him. “I saved him and now he doesn’t want me to leave me.” Her body melted further into as she only fell more in love with the bug, giving him looks that she would give to me. “Isn’t he beautiful?”
It was nice to finally see it in real time. I only saw her glance from either photos of us or head on. If I’m being honest, I still missed it when she looked at me directly because my head was off thinking about how perfect she is. My darling. My Earth angel. My girlfriend. My future wife.
“Love, do you think I may have shocked him or do you think he’s in love with my finger?” She asked, completely enchanted by him.
That was short-lived as I snapped. “Hey!” She jumped. “Those are my fingers. I need them.” Gerald fluttered in the air while Florence’s fist came swinging at my arm. “Ow.” He carefully came back down and landed on the tip of her nose.
Now wide-eyed and crossed-eyed, she was inseparable from him. “I was about to be really mad at you.” She whispered. “But all is forgiven.” I whipped out my phone and started snapping some pictures while Florence made some silly faces.
“You’re so adorable, my darling.” She giggled as she walked around with Gerald. “I’ll be inside if you need, okay?”
“Yup.” She wandered off, completely unphased by my absence as I chuckled to myself.
“And here I was worried about other actors stealing her from me.” I mumbled into my mug.
With some hot breakfast off the stove, I began washing dishes as Florence danced around with Gerald still on her nose and talking nonsense with him. “She’s too good for this world.” I stepped away to put the dishes away until… “Baaabe!”
I giggled to myself as I closed the cabinets and prepared for the show. The door swung open and a pouty face with crocodile tears appeared in the doorway. “Aww, qué pasó, mi amor?” She trudged over as I welcomed her with open arms. She started crying on my shoulder as I rubbed her back.
“He flew away!” I did my best to stifle my laughter but a few giggles slipped out. She pulled away and punched my arm. “Don’t laugh at me!”
“I’m so sorry, angel.” I tucked her back in to hide my smile. “He’ll come back.”
Her head poked out from my arms. “You really think so?” She asked as I cupped her dampened cheeks.
“I know so.” I kissed her forehead while wiping away stray tears. “Maybe he went to eat. I think you should eat too.”
“Okay!” She replied with a brand new chipper attitude.
“Mama!” The little girl shouted from the backyard. My shoulder leaned against the doorway as I adjusted my hoodie with one hand and held my coffee in the other.
“Yes princess?” Her head and my wife’s head whipped over to me. My daughter flashed a big, toothy grin as I headed over.
“I made a new friend!” She raised her finger with a familiar leaf.
“Wow.” I crouched next to her. “They’re beautiful, aren’t they?” She nodded excitedly. I turned my attention to the stupid leaf. “Gerald,” Eyebrow furrowed and eyes narrowed. “I see you’ve returned for my daughter.”
Although the leaf didn’t have a response, my wife did as a sharp pain flew across the back of my head. I sucked air through my teeth as my hands tried to soothe the pain.
“Hehe. Gerald.” My daughter giggled as she skipped off, giving the leaf a tour of the backyard. I stood up and was engulfed by Florence.
“See. I told you he’d come back.” I looked down at her. Her soft hand cradled my face before pulling me in for a kiss. She slowly pulled away as I whined. She shut me up with a quick peck.
“I love you, darling.” I mumbled into her lips as I squeezed her body.
“I love you too, love.”
“Mama! Mummy!” Our attention refocused on the little girl. “Look!” She giggled as Gerald had found a new home on the center of her face. “Gerald likes my nose.”
“She’s truly your child.” I whispered in her ear before pecking her cheek. Florence gave me a proud mum smile before heading over to take pictures. “Oh, God. I hope he doesn’t fly away.”

Hey i hope you doing well? <3 i would like to request something with Jude where the reader go on the pitch after a game and celebrate his goal with the team (Dortmund)
The whistle blew and you and your friends let out a sigh of relief. Dortmund was still in the title race after this 2-1 win, with Jude scoring the winning goal.
“That man could bring me to this knees with just that arm band, dunno how you’re still functioning Y/N.” Heidi, your best friend, whispered.
You laughed at Heidi’s antics with Lexi, Gio Reyna’s girlfriend.
“You’ll have to tell him that yourself Heidi.” You responded.
“Oh trust me I will.” She winked at you, making you squirm at her unapologetic-ness.
Sometimes, you aspired to be like her.
A man from the Dortmund staff came up to the three of yous then spoke in German, to which you and Lexi blushed in embarrassment, not knowing the language.
“He said we can go down onto the field. Come on!” Heidi led the way, flashing a smile at the staff you all passed on the field.
The three of you walked through the extremely large pitch, dodging ongoing interviews and moping Frankfurt players. The immediate sight of the yellow wall from the pitch made you smile. BVB fans were truly the greatest.
“Y/N! They’re talking about you!” Lexi whispered to you and Heidi.
You immediately whipped your head around and turned to see fans in the row closest to the pitch waving to you.
“Why are they waving?” You asked.
“Just listen.” Heidi smirked.
“Look it’s Jude Bellingham’s girlfriend!” They squealed.
“Y/N! May I have a picture!!”
“Y/N i follow you on Instagram!!”
They shouted and shrieked hoping they’d get your attention. You were awestruck, they were like fans. You, Heidi, and Lexi just laughed, smiled, and waved.
“This is gonna be my be real!” Lexi squealed, jogging over to the fans.
Heidi turned to say something to you before a thick German accent interrupted you.
It was some guy on Frankfurt’s staff based on his outfit, he held an easy smirk. He looked way too old for yours and Heidi’s teenage selves. He was probably 35 at youngest.
“Ladies. Hallo.” He smiled at the two of you.
Heidi smiled, responding in German while you just gave him a tight nod.
He chatted up Heidi, you watching in amusement, and Heidi as well keeping the conversation with a glint of amusement in her eyes. You’d been friends with Heidi for long enough to know what Heidi always knew peoples true intentions. And the raise of her eyebrows at you meant that she was telling you the man was interested in you.
So you were not surprised at all when the man, with an even wider smirk, turned to you and held his hand out as an introduction. With everyone watching you opted to be polite and went into shake his hand.
However, he instead took it and brought it up to his lips, still smirking. You quickly pulled your hand away and shot him an annoyed look.
“Listen. My name’s Christian, I work for Frankfurt. Wanted to know if you were interested in grabbing a coffee then heading back to my place.” He gave you a sickening smile.
This man was forward.
“Are you blind Christian! One, she’s too young for you. Two, look at the fucking Bellingham kit. She’s taken.” Heidi came to your defense.
“Listen. I don’t see Bellingham here! He doesn’t have to know.” Christian smiled.
“Get the hell away from us.” You glared at Christian, already looking around from security.
Christian’s eyes darkened.
“I have a much higher status here than both of you. So listen you who—” Christian started before being cut off.
“I’d best not finish that sentence if I were you mate.” A voice spoke from behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder.
Jude.
Christian was several inches shorter and scrawnier than Jude.
“Uh Mr. Bellingham I wasn’t aware that she was actually your girlfri—”
“Just scram.” Heidi glared.
And with that, Christian was gone.
You let out a sigh of relief while Heidi went after him with Karim Adeyemi to go and terrorize Christian.
“You alright love.” Jude asked pressing a kiss to your shoulder.
You nodded, twisting your head to make eye contact with him.
“I could’ve dealt with him Judekins. Or at least Heidi could have.” You gave him a teasing smile.
“Yeah but where’s the fun in that? I like being able to show people that you’re mine.” Jude winked at you.
You were about to kiss him when you were interrupted by huffing and puffing. You and Jude looked forward to see Karim panting and Heidi smirking.
“How. Do you run so fast?” Karin barely managed to get out.
“Karim mean freund, it’s a talent.” Heidi winked, scanning her nails.
“Heidi beat you in a foot race.” You stated knowingly.
Karim’s breathing had steadied by now.
“Yeah we were chasing after that Frankfurt guy. How the fuck is she so fast.” Karim groaned.
“So you guys caught up to him?” Jude asked.
“Oh yeah. Managed to threaten him and everything.” Heidi over annunciated.
“Anyways we’ll leave you two now. And remember Jude, Y/N loves men in arm bands. Especially when they’re captains.” Heidi winked before scurrying away.
“I’ll have to keep that in mind then.” Jude smirked down at you, a blush coating your cheeks.
“That was a nice goal you had Bellingham.” You teased him.
“It was dedicated to my biggest fan.” He smiled.
“Your mum’s not here today though.” You smiled innocently.
“I hate you.” He grumbled, burrowing his face into your shoulder.
“You have some eager fans waiting there.” You pointed out.
“They can wait.” He mumbled.
“Jude….” You stressed his name in the way his mum did when she was upset.
“Oh fine. But you’re coming with me.” He tugged you along.
“I’m so proud of you.” You held eye contact before going over to the fans.
“My girl. I love you Y/N.”
