Sailor Jupiter was (technically) never really my Scout. She always seemed to belong to my sister because Jupiter was always hers. But I’ve played Jupiter so many times on Corps that she’s starting to really become part of who I am. Wearing the green and pink is becoming familiar, and being the strength of the Scouts is natural. For “Across the Multiverse” we took the Scouts back in time and put them in a cage, so figuring out how Jupiter worked in that environment was so much fun. She’s fearless, so I wanted to be fearless. I‘ve been nervous about pushing my body after my knee surgery so many years ago, but the nervousness is starting to wane. I’m getting brave again, for her. And I love that cosplay can do that.
