my favorite color is green, i like drawing, journaling, reading, gaming, swimming, and writing (getting more used to the idea of it bc i used to hate writing). I have lots of collections of things like squishmallows, all kinds of frog and turtle things, books, video games....

Rick Riordan, Erin Hunter (it’s the nostalgia, i can’t help it), Wendy Mass, John Green, Dean Koontz, all the dystopian books like Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner (and the Thirteenth Reality also by James Dashner)

My favorite book is definitely The Song of Achilles with They Both Die at the End as a close second (apparently I like pain).

I’m don’t really know a name for what genre I most like but, fantasy, dystopia, and adventure pretty much sums it up I guess. I recently got into anime and now I can’t enjoy watching real people the same any more lol. Also if something I list has a book/movie counterpart that counts too, except for manga because I haven’t gotten into that yet(except for a few). I’m going to try to stick to my top three-ish favorites and not to list literally everything I’ve ever seen so here we go I guess (I say I guess a lot don’t I?)

Bridge to Terabithia (was my go to for favorite movie as a kid) and Ghibli movies; specifically with Howl’s Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke being my favorite movies

Sherlock, Anne with an E, and The Originals are probably my favorite (real people) shows and Hunter X Hunter, Attack on Titan, Fruits Basket, and Erased are my top anime shows (I haven’t seen that many but these are amazing).

hello everyone! first of all, thank you for reading my series! i wasn't expecting anything with it, like, at all, so i'm really happy people actually read it. thank you if you have been with us since the beginning, if you caught us in the middle, or if you're just discovering this series now! i started this all for fun, and if y'all had fun while reading, that's more than enough for me! and if you handled my late ass daily, wow, you're a warrior, i admire you a lot.

this whole series/universe means a lot to me (even tho i did it for fun hehe), it improved my grammar and vocab a lot, made me learn so many things about writing and constructing a story, i've learned things i never thought existed while searching for exact translations of what i was trying to say, and more.

am i completely satisfied with it? no. is there anything i wish i did differently? many, of course. should i be more responsible and work with my time management? oh yeah, that... :') moving on.

many parts i felt like i've rushed, or parts that feel/seem incomplete to me, things i should've added but didn't, things i shouldn't have added but did, but my skills couldn't make any better (not to mention i literally spoiled part 5 in some tags before part 4 was even released why-). the summary mainly is a joke cause i wrote it before changing the plot, oh god, is it too late to rewrite that? (btw, the plot has been changed about 3 times, that explains a lot huh. the first draft had nothing to do with the actual story).

i also learned that tumblr does hate me cause i can't fu**ing schedule sh*t properly in here and tag ppl and and UGH it took me almost a month to solve the scheduling issue.

BUT! it's all a great learning experience. i'm surely using everything i've acquired with gc on my next works and if you're curious about the next series, all i can say for now is that it's coming in late april/early may and, shameless self-promo time, here is a snippet! also no more scheduling or giving the exact time of posting cause omfg you know already.

and woah. now i can finally sleep normally again. and post the requests omg i'm so late.

favorite chapter: i do love part 3 a lot, but part 5 strikes deep man. and part 7 is so kashakdh too. uhmm, i'll go with part 5.

favorite scene: during part 5, when niki is trying to convince himself he's not jelly (the whole beginning is so good to me).

favorite character: soobin. nono i'm joking, i rlly want to say niki, but... jay :')

last but not least, chapter that killed me the most: part 7 cause omfg how hard that chapter was, to write and point out where the story was going, and it's so big too.

I seem to be incapable of writing *short* posts about the @sortinghatchats system. It's literary analysis and philosophy, but like in a lowkey, chill kinda way, and I love it.

So, I'm gonna separate this stuff onto its own sideblog for organizational purposes. That way I can stop spamming the ppl who are following me for cute animals and memes and stuff with giant text posts, and those of y'all who are actually here for my nerdy-ass monologues don't have to wade through reblog noise. You know, the usual.

Also, I'm not super consistent with tagging, and I don't want to lose track of the stuff I'm writing. It's easier if it just goes here.

About me

You can call me Paint, and I'm a Ravenclaw!

In full, I'm a Ravenclaw primary with a loud Hufflepuff primary model, and a Ravenclaw secondary with an even louder Hufflepuff secondary model. I burn my secondary a lot though. Sometimes my secondary model instead. It's a Depression Thing(tm).

It can be hard to get me to talk in person, but if you hand me a keyboard, I never shut up. I'm very introspective and I like to ramble about myself and my writing (I have 2 novels actively in the works, a fantasy hacker one and a fantasy postapocalyptic kudzu world one), and I also really like to read other people's introspection and rambling about their writing! Send me both of those things. We can be buddies.

Terminology

@sortinghatchats uses the Hogwarts house names for their Houses, as reclamation. Other people prefer @wisteria-lodge's animal names (Lion, Bird, Badger, Snake in place of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, respectively); here's why.

I'm cool with using either! The more we use the House names for our own purposes, the more they become ours, I think. But it's totally valid to want to opt out of using JKR's words, and I also like the animal names.

So, if I'm replying/adding to someone else's post, I'll use whatever terms they're using, for the sake of consistency and the OP's comfort. For my own, I'll probably stick to the original names? Might depend on what kind of mood I'm in.

Stuff I won't be doing here

There are people who like starting arguments for fun. I'm not one of them.

This blog will probably get lightly philosophical pretty frequently. It's definitely okay to disagree with me, but don't start flame wars. If you're continually loud and rude/aggressive, or intentionally bring up hot-button topics in order to get a reaction out of people, I will block you. We're not here to discuss politics or disparage religion, and we're not here to gatekeep.

On the issue of whether it's ethical to consume or enjoy media produced by people who are objectively assholes: this is one of those dilemmas where you have to draw the line for yourself on what you're willing to consume, based on how it will affect you personally. I don't want to hear people scream at each other because they draw their lines in different places. I have enough faith in you guys to trust that you're reading critically, so I probably won't be getting deep into this kind of discussion.

Also, I'm not a therapist. That might seem like an odd thing to say, but this blog is about a tool that can be used for self discovery, and I tend to give off therapist vibes for a lot of people. I'll try to help you understand yourself, but my energy does have limits. Like, please don't send me stuff about wanting to hurt yourself. Text 741741 instead (or Google around for a similar line if you're not in the US), there are people who are on call and trained to help.

The Promise: A Wanye one shot.

Okay, I don't know if any of my followers have noticed but I've become a little obsessed with YouTube's Premium Show: Wanye. It's really, really good and Mark McKenna is adorable. So if you have a free trial I say use it and watch this show.

But anyway, this show is so new that there is no fanfic out there. So I was bored and I wrote little something. Can't promise it's good, sorry. It's been awhile since I wrote anything. But here we go...

Also sorry, it's such a long post, couldn't figure out how to a page break on my phone.

He could taste the metal in his mouth, feeling the little letters,pressed to the underside of his tongue. He sighed, feeling as another blow came in contact with already bruised cheek. He was getting tired of this, he felt his right hand curl into a fist on instinct. No, he promised her. Remembering last week, when the guards had pulled him from the yard,stating he had a phone call. Who would be calling him?

"Hello?" He had asked timidly into the reciever.

" Do want to buy some goddamn cookies?!" The girl's voice boomed on the other end.

"What?!"

"Hey, Dummy, don't tell me you forgot about me already!" He knew that nickname, anywhere.

"Del" He practically whispered, grasping the phone cord closer as if could somehow  bring her closer.

" Ah, you haven't gotten yourself a boyfriend then?"

" No, you know your my only girlfriend." It was a fact, but Wanye could practically see her smile with the "Good" that followed.

He wanted to asked if she had a new boyfriend, if she missed him, but the words were lost as she started to ramble about her family, how she had been forced to water Mrs. Jackson next doors' plants, on account that she broken her hip, due to the fact that her asshole brothers had set off a bottle rocket off in her yard, scarring the old bag so bad that she fell off her front stoop. So now she was stuck watering her already dead plants, but at least she could call Wayne. I mean, no one knew she made these calls, collect no less, but the old bag was practically senial, so what did it matter.

" Wanye, I want to go swimming."

" Then, go swimming."

"Ain't got no suit, no more." She explained, how her father had soaked it in lighter fluid and thrown it onto the backyard  bonfire after returning from their Florida adventure. " So that boys don't get the wrong idea." He father had gloated. The only satisfaction Del got from seeing her favorite suit being burned, was that the fabric ignited immediately and practically took Teddy's eyebrows off.

Wanye found himself saying he would get her a suit.

" With what money, dummy?!" But that didn't matter to Wanye, he'd find a way to get some. And it didn't seem to matter to Del, because off she went exclaiming how he better not take her to the goddamn, shit hole,community pool, she wasn't going get herpes or let local pervs try take of her top. As if Wanye would let that happen. No, he would borrow Orlando's bike, take her to the west side , use their community pool, or maybe just sneak into someone's backyard that wasn't home. He could practically see her perched on the back of Orlando's bike as he pedaled. It was nice.

She asked how long it was until he was out and he told her the number, the public defender had given him as long as he had " good behavior", Del snorted at that, and Wanye couldn't blame her.

" Ah shit, my brothers are coming! Don't do anything stupid, I miss ya, dummy!" and just like that the line went dead.

Three months. He could do that. In fact, just a couple weeks ago he found a Target ad stuffed in an old Sunday paper in the prison library. A girl in a cute pink and red flowered bikini caught his eye, Del would look perfect in it. So it was settled, he'd get her that one. He had ripped out the image, shoving it under his mattress, only to have it discovered by the Kleto kid days later. The kid jumped back in surprise having found Wanye standing there. Apologizing profusely and shoving the ad roughly back he exclaimed"Dude you need to get some better fucking porn!"

He growled in frustration as his back collided with the cell wall. He tried to get a  job in wood shop, making bird houses for the elderly but he was not allowed near the tools. He tired to work in the kitchens but he wasn't allowed to be near the knives. Ultimately he ended up with a job in the Infirmary due to Nurse Nancy taking pity on him since he always there anyway. It was just filling paper work but Wanye didn't care. The air smelled clean, they had good soap, and Nurse Nancy smelled like apples.

Wanye could taste the blood in mouth, this had to be over soon. Where were the guards? Maybe he would just pass out, at least then he couldn't feel the pain. But honestly Wayne was worried about what Reggie's crew would do to him unconscious.

Just when he thought he'd have to break his promise to Del and " Do something stupid " he heard the running of feet, and gruff voice above yell, "Alright, that's enough, let him up! You animals!" Four prison guards had entered the cell.

A white burly prison guard looked down at him.

"Jesus Christ! Put those three back in their cells, we'll deal with them later. This one has to go to the infirmary." The burly guard  hauled Wanye to his feet, and he felt his vision sway.  Feeling blood trickle down his chin,  he threw his head back and spit blood at Reggie's face.  Loving the way Reggie's mouth curled in disgust and thevstring of curse words that followed. Some how without his golden grill, he looked dumber than ever.

" Hey! That's enough of that!" The guard called, cuffing Wanye's hands behind his back and dragging him into the hall. "Let's go get you patched up. " Wanye had the last laugh, he liked the infirmity, he actually get some descent sleep tonight , maybe two, if he was lucky. Maybe Nurse Nancy would slip him a swiss roll, or a moon pie with his dinner tonight, he quite like those. And maybe, just maybe, Nurse Nancy would let him file some more paperwork for work study. He already had two dollars and by the time he got out, he was bound to have enough for Del's suit. He smiled  feeling the little letters of her name pressed to the roof of his mouth.

so boxy is my friend who ive been mutuals for over a year and our first common interest is love live and haikyuu so we had that to talk about but im bad at keeping conversations with ppl on tumblr so that ended quickly but earlier this year or late last year i made a twitter and told people on here about it and she followed me and i didnt really mind/pay attention to the stuff she posted/rted uNTIL. until that fateful day... june 25th... at like 8pm? she rted a pic of mister brian kang with dumb minion glasses on and ok maybe i do believe in love at first sight? bc wow!!!!! whos this dumbass with minion glasses and the fluffiest hair ??? so i slide into boxy’s dm.. expecting an explanation and she gives me a good one saying how brians from a band (i would later find out), day6 and im not a fan of kpop, never have been.. ive only watched like some kpop mvs bc i love my friends so i expect myself to listen to them and get over them as soon as im done. boxy my friend, bless HER she sends me all of their mvs from congratulations to i smile and i watch the first one - i smile and me? i start smiling and i can feel myself getting excited because holy fuck theyre a band! they play fucking instruments??? and at this point im already whipped then i move onto how can i say and that shit blew my mind let me tell you.. so because of boxy... i get to where i am now, proudly stanning 3 groups and if it were not for her i wouldve never gotten into mx as well... boxy is just?? really important to me her impact is just that great?? so im super!! sUPER thankful for her and i dont think she’ll ever see this but boxy i love u thank u so much!! boxy gave me more than one reason to live, and not just exist?? without her i wouldve never been able to make so many (like 2 but hEY) new friends and this probably got so long idk im just really thankful for boxy thank u lord for blessing us with boxy (@/youngkwhom on twitter) (kittenma on tumblr) i hope shes happy forever and i also hope she has good days for the rest of her life?? boxy deserves it i lvoe u boxy
