I wish people understand that Aileen Wuornos lied about why she killed those men. She claimed that all 7 men were rapists and she was killing them in self-defense but that's not 100% the truth. The first man Richard Mallory was a rapist so that she was telling the truth about this one but the rest were just innocent men.

If we want to take down the myth that all women lied than why do feminists idolise women like Aileen Wuornos. Why not Cyntoia Brown instead.

the fact that aileen wournos got the death penalty for shooting (no torture, no violent method, etc) like seven adult men to literally avoid getting raped, yet josef fritzl, a serial rapist who imprisoned his daughter in a cellar for 24 years, raped her so much it resulted in multiple children and a miscarriage, made her act out porn scenes in front of her children, tortured her, starved her, forced her to write notes saying she ran off, refused to help her child which resulted in the child’s death, said that he was “born to rape” and that he locked up his daughter to explore his “evil side”, locked his mother up in his attic for around 20 years until she eventually died, and already had a criminal history of rape, incest, and child sexual abuse only had to serve 15 years and as of 2023 is eligible for parole is absolutely heartbreaking and insane and is going to make me start breaking things

also the infamy surrounding aileen wuornos was bc of misogyny, hatred of a prostituted woman, and lesbophobia. her first victim was a literal convicted rapist. her next several victims were all johns. we can argue her last victim was innocent but considering what she did vs what male serial killers have done, her crime was comparatively so tame. and yet she received so much hatred and got the death penalty.

remember this: aileen wuornos received SIX death sentences. ted bundy (murdered 30 women after kidnapping & raping them) received three. jeffrey dahmer (sexually abused & killed 17 men & boys, even eating some of them) received 0.

I'm working on the last Chucky request i got and it involves a reader being Chucky's little sister ( im accomodating the timelines for that) who Andy and Kyle come across searching for background info on him.

The thing is that, since it was specified that she should act a bit Chucky-like, the woman i'm picturing is ( characterization wise, like only in her mannerisms and speech) a weird mix between Nica!Chucky and Lily Rabe's Aileen Wournos from AHS Hotel. It kinda just happened because her cackling is so Chucky-like and many of her lines on the AHS episode are jokes that fit so well with Chucky's sense of humor.

Debating myself about if she can flirt with Andy being disgusting like in the dynamic with John Lowe.

I feel like tik tok is a different breed. The amount of videos I've come across where people are humanising Alieen Wuornos and use the audio "mama raised a soldier not a bitch" just shows how misinformation can be spread. People make it out like Alieen Wournos was this 'justice system is broken' type. When she was not even that. Yes, she had a fucked up childhood and I think that's one of the reasons why people like to justify her actions. The first one probably was. But the rest didn't deserve to die or be robbed. I've seen tik tok videos of people dedicating to Ted Bundy's victims but never for Alieen Wuornos' victims.

But she's not the only serial killer whose childhood was taken away from at a young age but I don't see anyone making any excuses for them. Is it because their crimes went way beyond than a shot to the head or is it because you didn't research about Alieen Wuornos herself? She lied when saying she killed those men in self-defense.

If you want to look up to someone who actually killed their rapist because in fear of their lives. It's Cyntonia Brown.
