Kishi Bashi - Honeybody

It's a little cringe but playful.

What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Bart - Third wheeling him to prop up other ships (we all know which one it doesn't need to be said). That, and making him GINGER.

Kon - People just outright refusing to read his comics and making him just a prop for another character's angst (we don't need to say which character we all know). Also, people perpetuating that Clark abandoned him.

If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

Bart - No internal monologues, ever. It's fun to figure out how to write around a scene and NOT have Bart have an internal narrative.

Kon - His internal thoughts are insane. He's like a 1920's bombastic radio show host sometimes.

KonBart - they play off of each other.

I haven't found anything I don't like really about either while writing for them.

If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

Bart - I like his diversity on the queer spectrum! We all agree he's NOT cishet, and it's fun to see everyone's interpretations. For me ironically I love him being pan, and in direct contrast aroace. Literally all or nothing, but still filled with so much love. As for something I don't like... Again, third wheeling or he's just written to be stupid/naive/childlike to the point where he blushes and giggles if 'sex' is mentioned. If I see this, the fic gets closed and depending on the severity of the offense I'll block/mute the author.

Kon - There's actually very little Kon fic I've read that I like 💀 I am so sorry. I need to read more but I cannot read it if it is T*mkon. I am sorry I cannot do it anymore. But the fics I have read from those who clearly HAVE read his comics and understand him get him.
