Charlie hasn't seen Lilith in seven years, and Alastor has been 'on sabbatical' for seven years. Do we think this is coincidence, or something more??

No Lilith is not "Evil" or a "Bad Mom"
Tumblr media
I said what I said. We don't know what happened to Lilith, we don't know why she and Lucifer split, and if you saw the pilot, you would know Charlie choose to confide in HER about her worries and fustrations. That is a clear sign that as the queen of hell, the woman whose songs brought hope to the demons in hell, had more confidence in her daughter than Lucifer was afraid to have. I saw a post that said "also how bad of a fucking mother does lilith have to be to ignore her daughter for 7 years jfc". As if that is the only reason Charlie hadn't heard from her? Not even a possibility something bad might have happened or had really very important business to deal with as the queen of hell?? And it's even more bizzare how people just assumed that flashback was her "keeping Charlie away from Lucifer". Like hello, it's called putting your child to sleep? And also
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Does this really look like a vile woman to you. Did you really see this portraits and went "Oh yeah she hates her husband," NO THAT IS FUCKING IN LOVE WITH HER HUSBAND! SHE IS HAPPY WITH HER CHILD, SHE IS PROUD OF HER FAMILY AND KINGDOM, SHE WANTS NOTHING MORE THAN TO BE WITH THE MAN WHO SHOWED HER MORE LOVE AND COMPASSION THAN BITCH ASS ADAM, AND STUCK WITH HER FOR MILLENIUM AFTER BEING CASTED OUT OF HEAVEN. EVEN WRAPPING HER ARMS AROUND HIM AND CHARLIE
Tumblr media
Fautisse, the person whose been at the birth of Hazbin Hotel, even believes Lilith adored her husband just the same as he to her. But shit happens, and something caused her to leave. For reasons WE DON'T KNOW WHY! But unfortunately for her as a female character, the fans and even anti fans have reduced her to another "Stella". Despite the fact Charlie confides in her, and despite Lucifer having pictures with her in his office and still has his wedding ring on. There is a definite reason Lucifer acts this depressed, otherwise he would be acting like Stolas, someone who actually hates his wife.

do u think when lilith went through the portal a second time, she finally understood/remembered what happened after she got taken by the tarask in s1??? n why she comes back validly shaken n desperate for ANYONE to understand?
do u think she understood that adriel n reya know each other n he was her best bet at understanding her monster nature? i think thats why she went to him, scared out of her mind but hiding it well, n just going with whatever he was doing cuz she knew, as much as her sisters love her n care for her, they got no fucking clue whats going on. its not their fault, but she did leave toledo n her mother’s house knowing she needed to find answers fast, knowing she could never be the warrior nun and what that entails, knowing she shouldve made peace with that a long time ago but fuck that was her WHOLE LIFE thrown away by a complete newbie who made her like this!!! the very monster she was supposed to hunt!!!
my bby knew jack shit of what she was doing either, she just traded a bad situation for another bad situation that she could at least understand. i think thats why she trusts adriel so blindly, he SOUNDS like the answers she needed, she feels understood. but its also why at that ava n lilith scene where ava ends up hurting lilith on her face at the end, lilith is so fucking emotional n angry n scared when ava tells her to go back.
how can she go back when she fucked up like this? how can she go back n act like shes truly at their side when they cant n will never understand hers? how can she go back to a place where it felt like home, like her destiny, when she failed them so horribly? she can never go back. she doesnt believe she can or should. shes heartbroken, n she cares so deeply abt ava n her sisters but those hours spent on the other side showed her some truth she cant ignore. n now she has to live with it.
she wants to do what the warrior nun would do, save the world of evil, help her sisters. well, sometimes that job has difficult decisions. sometimes ppl die. im thinking abt the first ep when lilith tells mary that she knows what needs to happen. n shes right!! if they want to get rid of evil n save ppl, they need to be objective n follow the protocols. i think her siding with adriel n then her, at the end after he dies, when she warns beatrice of the war, helps ava to a place where she knows she can heal n survive, n literally does not give a single fuck abt adriel afterwards, just needed to warn her sister n go away, maybe to prepare herself for this war, was lilith’s way of doing what a warrior nun would do.
she thought adriel could actually give her the tools n maybe even help her save the world. but then he died n she understood that maybe she needs to do this shit by herself. so she flies off, no fucks given. her business here is done, n now there’s war preparations to be done. i dont think she was ever in love with adriel, they were using each other for their own goals.
would i have preferred if lilith found her new monster identity by herself n with the help of her sisters?? yes. do i like that she trusted a crusty white men to do it?? no. but i cant stand when ppl say that lilith loves adriel or smth. bby she didnt blink when the guy died. she was like “oh well, time to help beatrice save ava” like??? that scene shocked me n gave me hope that maybe lilith matured in a way that made her harder to manipulate. doubtful, but im hopeful.
that girl is still very much driven by ambition but also by praise. those are her weaknesses for sure.
also im pretty sure shes gonna get killed off next season cuz im used to shows like these to disappoint me so. yh.

Note
I have two unpopular opinions 1) if roles were reversed and Dean was the one drinking blood, Dean stans would have excused the shit out of it and even liked it. 2) if none of Dean's trauma was addressed and ignored (like most of Sam's trauma is) Dean stans would fucking riot.
intensely aggressively strongly agree | strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
(sorry in advance, I ranted A Lot)
2) I'm gonna start with this one. YESYESYES I mean dean stans are already constantly unironically whining that dean's traumas never get acknowledged (EVEN THO IT'S LITERALLY NOT TRUE, HIS TRAUMAS ALREADY GET ACKNOWLEDGED MORE THAN ENOUGH. EVERY TIME HE STUBS HIS TOE. EVERYONE IS CODDLING HIM AND ASKING HIM HOW HE'S DOING. HALF THE SHOW IS LITERALLY DEAN MANPAINING ABOUT HIS TRAUMAS - but apparently that's not enough for them, so I can't imagine the uproar if it was actually true). meanwhile sam's traumas either get ignored or they get treated like a fucking joke? well I guess it's just another tuesday
I've also seen a lot of dean stans moaning about sam "forcing dean to talk about his traumas", because apparently sam actually acknowledging dean's traumas and encouraging him to open up about them and being always supportive af because he actually cares is unacceptable (and I'm willing to bet that if he didn't acknowledge them, they'd still complain because sam literally can't win no matter what he does)
but dean ignoring and never acknowledging sam's traumas (not even when he's directly responsible for said trauma) or making them all about himself (mystery spot, hallucifer, soullessness, gadreel possession) or vilifying and victim blaming him (being force-fed demon blood, soullessness, gadreel possession) or using said traumas to justify his actions (hallucifer) or making cruel, disgusting and unnecessary jokes about them ("you had a girl inside you for a whole week" [meg possession] "you know how wrong that sounds, right?" "you've like an episode of teen mom" [gadreel possession - let's talk about how these two in particular are a thousand times more disgusting than the rest since he's actually joking about a violation he's directly responsible for] "smores foot" [bmol torture] "crybaby pie" [cole torture] "you saw the [devil's] john [or butt]?" [the cage] dick of death jokes right, left and center) is perfectly acceptable behaviour
1) again YESYESYESYES. I mean, this isn't even a hypothesis, we already have an extremely similar storyline for dean - the moc - and everyone made excuses for him and glorified him, even tho he was worse than demon blood sam in every possible way
actually I wrote a rant on reddit a couple of days ago about the awful double standards between demon blood sam and moc/demon dean. I'm gonna paste it here because I'm Bitter Af
comparing demon blood sam and moc/demon demon is ironically and hysterically bitter because, logically, no matter how you spin it, s4 sam is much more understandable and easy to sympathize with - both in intentions and actions - and should have the moral high ground, while s9-10 dean was flat out awful and damaging. yet both the show and the fandom crucify sam and treat dean as some poor victim or a great martyred hero who made some great noble sacrifice and I just... don't get it. so let's break it down:
> reason for drinking blood / getting the moc
- sam: exorcising demons without harming the host, thus saving people (which apparently isn't that relevant to dean) and killing lilith, first because she sent his brother to hell and then to stop the apocalypse and because she was an actual threat
- dean: because he couldn't face the consequences of his actions after the gadreel mess and decided he wanted to kill abaddon, who, at that point, wasn't even their problem (she only became a real problem in 9x17, when they learned about the soul harvesting, so unless dean has some sort of prophetic knowledge, he had no reason to take the moc in 9x11) and was a real threat to no-one but crowley
> trusting / working with a demon
- sam: I've already said this before, but ruby was a master manipulator and went to extraordinary lengths to gain sam's trust and even managed to fool every single demon (aside from lilith obviously). as far as both brothers knew, she's done nothing but help them, saved their lives multiple times and helped them save others, fixed the colt for them, was there for sam after dean died, is basically hunted by other demons for helping them, has risked her life for them several times and even got tortured for them and was helping sam to go after the demon who was trying to start the apocalypse. sam had absolutely no valid reason not to trust her. I'd really like someone to look me in the eyes and tell me that, if anyone did everything I mentioned above, you wouldn't trust them
- dean: trusted a demon who they knew is extremely untrustworthy and self-serving and only does what's in his best interest and has screwed them over one way or another every time they worked together and has hurt people they're close to
> level of manipulation involved
- sam: as I already said, ruby was a master manipulator and spent two years carefully manipulating sam to get him to do what she wanted. not the mention everything azazel did to get him there, lilith pushing his buttons at every turn to get him to kill her and the manipulation from heaven as well, who were lying to the boys at every turn
- dean: while crowley was manipulating him, the level of manipulation isn't remotely comparable to the one sam went through is s4. crowley saying “let’s kill abaddon” and pretending to be afraid of cain is not comparable to a plan that’s been set on motion since the beginning of time and crowley wasn't the only one involved in dean getting the mark. cain was involved as well and he wasn't manipulating him (unlike sam, who was being manipulated by everyone involved). on the contrary, he was completely honest with dean and even offered to tell him more about the mark and DEAN REFUSED (like can you imagine how many problems would've been avoided if dean sat on his ass for one minute and listened to cain's warning???)
> actions
- sam: in s4 sam was trying to use something that was forced on him when he was six months old, and that he hated about himself, to do good because he felt like he had to and was literally SAVING PEOPLE and trying to stop the apocalypse, I literally still don't get why he's vilified for it????? in s4 sam killed a total of one (1) person: the possessed nurse and while that was obviously bad, 1) he was clearly upset about it and 2) I still haven't seen one (1) valid reason for why she's any different from the demons dean drained and killed in swan song or from any of the other possession victims they killed with the demon knife or the angel blade
- dean: meanwhile dean was going around murdering people left and right (also another example of fandom double standards: everyone defends moc!dean and demon!dean because "he only killed bad people" - which isn't even true, but let's say he was - and yet, I seem to remember a certain kitsune named amy pond, who was ALSO killing bad people (and not for the lolz of it, but to save her son) and dean killed her and the fandom defended him back then as well. is killing bad people okay only if dean does it?), tried to kill sam, beat cas bloody
> keeping secrets
- sam: keeping his powers and the demon blood a secret was his god given right, since it affected no-one but sam himself and the demons he was exorcising. not to mention, he had pretty good reasons for not telling dean, considering his bigotry, black and white views and judgmental attitude. and yet, he was, and still is, vilified by both the show and the fandom for keeping secrets and dean even punched him for not telling him about his abilities (something in particular about this point that absolutely drives me up the wall: in 4x04 sam accidentally revealed that he knew about what azazel did to him and dean got mad at him for not telling him about it, even tho dean himself found out about it and didn't tell sam and no-one - not the show, not the fandom and not even sam and dean themselves - notices the hypocrisy. they're literally saying that it's okay for DEAN to keeps something about SAM a secret from SAM, but not okay for SAM to keep something about HIMSELF a secret from DEAN. if you don't think that's super fucked up, then I don't know what to tell you)
- dean: no-one says anything about dean keeping the effects of the mark a secret, even tho, unlike s4 sam, lying about the mark directly affected other people and put everyone around him in danger, including sam
> general treatment
- sam: everyone treated sam like a monster in s4, dean straight up called him a monster, told him he'd hunt him if he didn't know him, forced him into a torture-detox that almost killed him, tried to control him and refused to see his point. at the end of s4 sam apologized to dean. in s5 dean repeatedly told him that he doesn't trust him. sam was blamed for everything that happened in s4 and his mistake kept getting brought up even seasons later
- dean: everyone and their mom was coddling him and helping to get rid of the mark. everyone considered the mark to be the problem, not dean himself. sam was unconditionally supportive. dean never once apologized to sam for any of the awful things he said/did to him while he had the mark. sam never once blamed dean for anything that happened in s9-10 and instead placed the blame on crowley and none of the things dean did ever got brought up again
> at the end of each arc
- sam: paid for his mistake by sacrificing himself and jumped into the cage and saved the world and got tortured by the devil himself for centuries
- dean: paid for his mistake by having his mother brought back to life

Hello naughty children it's Gehenna time.
...which means I'm going to read the book properly this time and write notes on each scenario, partially for my own reference, partially in answer to an ask from @rayshell22livejournalcom from about a zillion years ago. Sorry about that!
Mood soundtrack: Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F# A# ∞; Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven; Yanqui U.X.O.
Prelude: Netchurch is an interesting character. Very skeptical, despite, well, the entire setting, although that's definitely, uh, broken by the end. Feel very sad for Afifa, who was a pawn in all this. Creepy babies galore!
Introduction: "While Vampire favors that futile, tragic, and - we'll say it - angst-heavy conclusion" - lmao you don't say. Although I do like how they have the consistent golden rule that if you don't like it, just ditch it! (Of course, the Gehenna scenarios as a whole have been completely retconned anyway by v20 and v5, so this entire book is a good example of taking what you want from it and ignoring the rest.)
"Some people are on opposite sides of this thing. They're elders who don't want to knuckle under to the Antediluvians (most elders will accept their proper place in the heirarchy again with the rising of their progenitors) and poor, misled souls who bought into the lie and are pissed about it (paging Mr. Pieterzoon). Bottom line: the Camarilla collapses like Enron/WorldCom as the worthlessness of its foundation becomes public knowledge. Chaos ensues among the vampire community, princes find themselves besieged by their own locals, and it's all a big clusterfuck."
Have I ever mentioned I love how VtM phrases stuff? Also F to Jan.
I like how they have a masterlist of what's actually going on with the Antediluvians. Spoilers ;D "For example, note that [Tzimisce] is simply referred to as [Tzimisce]. Even here at the game studio, our limited mortal minds weren't able to comphrenend the creature's real name." Lovecraft only WISHES he had eldritch abominations this spooky! Ennoia is 'Active and scary' and apparently spooks the devs just thinking about it. Makes sense. "Giovanni (Augustus Giovanni): Augustus is a pig, and he should probably die as one of the early events of Gehenna. He's the youngest of the Antediluvians and probably possessed the greatest ego (in mortal terms), so it'll be cosmic justice when he eats it." I love how no one likes Giovanni, even his creators. Malkav may or may not BE the Madness Network, in which case they cease to be an Antediluvian and just become... a part of the Malkavians, I guess? Absimiliard may or may not be chilling at the bottom of the ocean, because mood. Tremere / Saulot is definitely a fun one to play with, yeah. Although, oof, if Saulot ever gets control of their shared body, he's going to be fucked up if [Tzimisce] activates, so. Probably better to create a nice fresh body, like what BJD suggests with the child Saulot.
Chapter 1 - the lead-up: Basically a rundown of the signs and how they're interpreted. "An angel dies: How does an angel die? Who has the gall to rise up and slay one of God's firstborn? Or perhaps this is another metaphor. An angel could be a pure and gentle creature, or then again, it need not be one of God's angels (not that God's angels are necessarily pure and gentle). A feared and particularly vicious Necronomist Tzimisce, Sascha Vykos is sometimes referred to as the Angel of Caine. Many would rejoice the night that Vykos died." Hey rude :( I vote they kill Michael instead. He wants to be an Archangel? Fine, he can fulfill a prophesy XD
Honestly I really do dig that Ennoia Earthmelded with the entire planet. You can go so many directions with that, good or bad! Ennoia as The Beast Below, or Ennoia as Gaia? (Wow, that'd really fuck with the Garou XD) I love how the general consensus on Haqim is like, no one knows if he exists or not but lbr Ur-Shulgi is bad enough. Kinda dig the idea of the Toreador ante, Ishtar/Arikel, being genderfluid? I mean yeah essentially demigods have no need for gender anyway, but the constant debates over whether the Toreador ante is the female Ishtar or the male Arikel (or, uh, was it vice versa?) does lead to some interesting concepts. Ooh, similar to [Tzimisce] being linked to its entire clan (and the Tremere, anyone who's ever taken part in the Vaulderie, and anyone who knows Vicissitude), [Lasombra] may be connected to anyone who knows Obtenebration? [Ravnos]... yeah, probably dead. F to the clan. And yeah I think [Tzimisce] is flat-out the scariest one of all, and probably the one most likely to actually start the apocalypse, lbr.
Ugh this is one of the books that calls Sascha 'it' :-\ Do not like. ...Also do not like the suggestion that they're an unknowing agent of the Eldest, given, uh, the last chapter of the DA Tzimisce novel. Shoo! Shoo! You've ruined their unlife enough as it is!
Epistolary material! I do dig those. Most interesting: a letter to Sascha mentioning apocalyptic visions of New York but with the Carpathians in the background, and an anonymous letter to Hardestadt warning him of one of his line tearing down a castle that the writer feels believes the Camarilla. GO JAN FUCK IT UP.
And on to the scenarios themselves!
Chapter 2 - Wormwood: This is an interesting one. Literally a Biblical vengeance - God takes a good look at the Children of Caine and goes, "Well, this is fucked up", acknowledges that Caine never really sought true forgiveness and repentance, and sets forth Wormwood, the Red Star. The truly repentant are saved, the rest just. Die.
Herald here is a dhampir girl named Alia - thinblood father, human mother. When she's twelve, she becomes God's chosen, basically. Traveling with three thinblood guardians, one night, she's approached a Gargoyle named Ferox with True Faith, who sees himself as a fallen angel. And Alia offers him a way of redemption - find the chosen true believers, wait out Wormwood, receive judgement. Anyone can seek sanctuary, only the true believers and the ones genuinely willing to repent will survive the judgement itself. Alia and Ferox set out to find the other chosen ones.
Whew. Very full-on - the players remain in one place with a whole bunch of other vampires for forty nights. I mean, that's a test in and of itself XD All welcome! (Except infernalists and the antediluvians and Caine himself. They're fucked no matter what.)
Like. All welcome XD "Some Storytellers might feel that this character roundup could get too silly, suddenly having all these celebrity Kindred get together for a big slumber party, and they would be correct." Fuck that give me a slumber party AU XD
Am very glad about the note that the vampires inside only lose one blood point per 10 days, rather than every day. Otherwise, uh, it'd get gory.
Yeah, this is a really interesting scenario. Very character-focused, very introspective. All about the characters trying to work out what it means to be good people - not the strongest vampires, not the most powerful, but good people. Are they worthy of salvation? That's the crux of the story. Of course, it's very, uh, Biblical, heh, but it's first and foremost about morality and redemption. I dig it.
Also, giant vampire slumber party.
Chapter 3 - Fair is Foul: Ooh, this is a Lilith vs Caine scenario.
This one has the Withering hit in weird ways, including clan-specific ones - like the Banu Haqim only able to feed on vitae, then only able to gain sustenance from diablerie. Gangrel turn even more animalistic. Lasombra take to the seas, Obtenebration ripping holes straight to the Abyss. Malks, uh, leak madness. Nosferatu get even uglier, Toreador devolve into debauchery. Tremere develop third eyes, and yes, I did laugh out loud when I read that. Tzimisce... hmm... get a bit, uh, uncontrolled. And Ventrue find they can now only feed on... other Ventrue. Fun times!
"At your discretion, Lilith might be particularly vulnerable to Jewish True Faith, as the Jewish tales about her are the source of nearly every negative sentiment ever directed against her in writing. As a result, most orthodox Jews bear Lilith great contempt for defying her husband and her God." Yeah ngl I think she's pretty dang cool and I can just see, like, most of my ancestors facepalming at the idea XD;; Fuck obediance you do your own thing.
"Trying to work out traits for Lilith, Lucifer, Caine, or any of the Antediluvians would just be a waste of our word count and your time." I like the time they published a guide for fighting Caine. It was two words. "You lose."
Ah. Okay, Saulot in Tremere's body being taken over by the Eldest = scary, because have you ever been attacked by an Antediluvian wielding Thaumaturgy, Valeran, and Vicissitude at the SAME :) TIME? :) Yeah :)
Really dig the idea of Abel showing up as the first Wraith. The forgiveness element.
Overall, this isn't my favourite scenario, I think? It feels very chaotic, and while it's probably the most traditional to play, I'm not sure how much it literally challenges the characters, unlike the sheer soul-searching...ness of Wormwood?
Chapter 4 - Nightshade: Chapter starts with, "We all wear masks" and my first thought was "boy you have no idea" XD
Awww yes this is the masquerade break scenario! See here for my thoughts on that and how the Nephtali could be adapted to v5, heh.
Yeah okay earthquakes, volcanoes, and riots are normal enough. A horrible blood virus where it appears some flesh-like thing is living in people's veins and feeding off their blood sounds like something that starts with T and rhymes with Shzimitze. ...Probably. No one knows how the fuck it's pronounced anyway. Oops, those riots are apparently over the existence of vampires. Yeah that'd be... unfortunate. And more earthquakes, this time due to Kupala vs the Eldest. Whew. Red star, yep, standard. MORE earthquakes, this time due to the Second City rising. Sounds legit. Bad times all around!
The details on breaking the Masquerade are interesting. Basic emotions: denial, rationalisation, fear, anger, acceptance. The acceptance one is interesting, because I can definitely see some jumping to it straight away.
So, on to the scenario itself! Jan recruits the players to fight the... uh, mass under NYC. This is the corpse of the Eldest, which is more or less a giant fungal infection held together with Vicissitude, which frankly is just icky. This actually is  canon-compliant with BJD, since it apparently has only just... dissipated? or whatever there, or if it still remains, it's no longer conscious. In this one, its soul flicks back to Tremere's/Saulot's body and wakes up, and basically every Tzimisce, Tremere, and anyone who has ever drank Tzimisce blood (which would be the entire Sabbat via Vaulderie) spontaneously frenzies. Godspeed. Cyscek, a Tzimisce methuselah, helps defeat the, uh, blob at the expense of his life, and warns with his last words, "The Dragon rises. You must stop it. Find Vykos. [They] know." (Okay yeah the text says 'it knows' but also fuck that.) Ooh, plot point!
Aaaand then they retreat from the battle, exhausted, only to find the whole damn thing broadcast on every TV screen, vampiric Disciplines and Cyscek dusting and all. W h o o p s.
Lots and lots of details of a major masquerade breach here. Hardestadt shows up and tells Jan he's proooobably gonna get Final Death for, you know, trying to save the world. Gonna share this bit because it's Very Satisfying.
Tumblr media
Please refer to my tag #hardestadt has no rights ;D
Anyway! The characters now recruited, Jan leads them back to London for the Convention of Fire. He's working with Calebros and... like a bunch of others, probably anyone can end up here, so long as they want to actually help and not just fall apart like the remnants of the Camarilla (trying to diablerise their way into keeping power) and the Sabbat (...ditto tbh). Those definitely in attendance are Ambrogino Giovanni, Hesha Ruhadze, and Fatima! And lbr the Nod Squad are probably there too. As if Beckett would pass up the chance to NOT witness what's happening with Gehenna. And Anatole is literally a prophet of Gehenna! They found the Nephtali, led by a council of twelve, with Jan at the head. Name means 'the highest point' or 'no further' - as in, Gehenna goes no further than this.
Oh lmao here we go, the scene I mentioned earlier - Jan vs talk shows.
Tumblr media
F to Jan.
Tremere's body (inhabited by Saulot) disappears from beneath the Vienna chantry. Tremere's body, with [Tzimisce] now well in control (having overtaken Saulot; Tremere, meanwhile, has taken over Goratrix's body, with Goratrix's mind stuck in a mirror... it's complicated), wipes out the Vienna chantry. RIP to the Vienna chantry, which doesn't survive in either timeline tbh. Hey, I wonder if that means that Saulot (in Tremere's body) is dead in v5? Etrius manages to escape and reports that the Eldest is now on the way to Ceoris, where it'll call all the remaining Tzimisce to it to become, uh, a part. Pleasant.
Everything between Krakow and Bucharest is straight fukk’d. Ceoris is the centre of all this - IIRC it's somewhere in the southern Carpathians, nearish Brasov. Either way, hell of a fight results with what can only be described as an eldritch abomination, finally both managing to destroy Kupala (the Eldest's goal) and reducing The Thing down to a human-looking body. This bit is interesting! Tremere (in Goratrix' body) and Etrius take one look at each other. "Master..." "I... I know. But where the hell is Saulot?!" Good question, because he sure ain't in Tremere's, uh, former body any more, which was in fact what was fighting them the whole time. Either way, Tremere-in-Goratrix'-body leaps at [Tzimisce]-in-Tremere's-body and diablerises his, um, former body, which must be weird as hell, then tries to turn on the characters and his powers fuckiNG FAIL. EAT SHIT TREMERE. And then the players kill him too and realise that over the course of one night they've destroyed the demon Kupala and two Antediluvians, Tremere and the Eldest. Not bad. This is the battle that causes that second lot of earthquakes I mentioned earlier.
Back to London! They find the mirror containing Goratrix amongst Tremere's belongings. Poor fucker sorry not sorry.
And now the players receive a summons to escort someone from Montreal to the Nephtali headquarters in London! Namely, a Tzimisce named Myca Vykos~ They've recently defected from the Sabbat and want to help take the Antediluvians tf down. (Note: the book here has reverted to using he/him pronouns since they're back in their original form, I'm going to keep using they/them because biological sex does not determine gender identity or pronouns goddammit. ...Anyway. I AM going to use the name Myca since that's the name they're using themself, mostly because, uh, 'Myca' is a bit less noticeable than 'Sascha Vykos', haha.)
So Gehenna has started. Myca's woken up in their original form and being like, "Hey you know what I am preTTY SURE I don't want to serve the Eldest" and promptly joins the Nephtali.
From New York to London to Romania to London to Montreal to London (...London is a hub world apparently), now off to Turkey, to Kaymakli! Which is actually a real place, my brother's been on a tour there. Anyway, this is the part of Kaymakli that they don't show the tourist and that's been sealed shut with lots of angry Cappadocians instead, so that was fun. Presumably Kapaneus hasn't been chilling out there in this one.
Also Colombia has completely been overtaken by the Sabbat so that sucks.
Into Kaymakli! Which usually doesn't let Cainites back out so it may be one-way. Don't worry, there's a ritual for that. At the bottom, they find Augustus Giovanni! Who is pissed off he never actually got to eat Cappadocius' soul and so wants to eat God instead.
As you do.
The book very strongly encourages the players to kill him. Just 'cause. Which is a mood, tbh. Killing him also reveals a beaten, bound Nosferatu, having been Giovanni's most recent food source. An F for Okulos. He's been there for four years, having managed to get a lost fragment of the Book of Nod for Beckett, who promised to come back for him and. Didn't. Which is just rude tbh and I can kind of understand why Okulos ends up betraying Beckett in the Gehenna novel but anyway. (Not canon as of v20, he's perfectly present and chill in BJD.)
End results - the fragment that Okulos went to retrieve shows how to restore the Second City, which holds a complete Book of Nod and may hold the key to stopping Gehenna. It's in Enochian so your player characters probably won't be able to read it (book suggests asking Sascha or Ambrogino). Next stop, Egypt, and a meeting with Hesha Ruhadze! Man this scenario has a lot of signature characters. It also suggests getting third parties in here too, so Beckett would actually be a really good choice. Either way, they find the probable site, and suddenly, a Second City.
Archeologists make grabby hands. Beckett, somewhere, is probably crying in joy. They find a vial with some very old blood in it that they definitely shouldn't drink because otherwise they'll explode (the book uses Sascha as the example here XD;; ). Along with some mystical enscriptions, they return to London and get to work on the prophecy - namely, it suggests that 'the gentle one' (likely Saulot) will die at the hands of another, but arise in a new form, and will stop Gehenna that way. Etrius, one of the only Tremere left and having joined the Nephtali, goes 'fuck it what do I have to lose?' and goes to find whatever new form Saulot is in (potentially can also involve Goratrix here).
Hm. Well. Saulot is apparently in a research centre outside Sydney. Apparently we're mostly chill with vampires, aside from Christians XD Go figure!
Apparently it's a cloning facility. One of the rooms had, past tense, a child, successfully cloned six-year-old, who was in perfect physical form but vegetative from birth. Religious characters will pick up that it's because the kid's body didn't have a soul. Now, it does - Saulot's. Having been thrown out of Tremere's body when the Eldest took over, his soul fled until it could find the most suitable vessel - a soulless cloned body. No actual soul to have to subdue. Saulot ends up reborn, albeit in the form of a six-year-old and without any memories. Turns out, the child was taken by a cult of Thinbloods, believing him to be the messiah.
Sydney's messy situation gets described here! Short version, Sydney's Prince is/was Sarrasine, who was a Toreador. Except he wasn't a Toreador, it was a fairly open secret he was only POSING as a Toreador - he was actually a Caitiff. (Except he's not actually a Caitiff. He's a sixth-gen Setite. Sydney is Like That, yes.) Given Sydney's independence from the sects and its apparent Caitiff Prince, it's become a major site of Caitiff and Thinbloods, which Sarrasine is just thrilled about but can't do anything about because he doesn't want to actually go 'lol I'm a Setite'. Anyway, either way, everyone is unaware of Saulot's return, so the players seek out the little boy, who's pretty spooked and confused. Asks the characters, "Who are you? What is this place? What do all these people want?" and his third eye opens. Tada! Salubri Antediluvian, and like the prophecy mentioned, he's 'unholy' and 'a mockery in the face of God' - a clone.
Back to London with kid!Saulot. The Nephtali have been trying to work out what tf is going on. A researcher tried drinking from the vial. It was messy. The characters might get some downtime. Sarrasine's followers may attack to try and get the kiddo back. Either way, everyone goes to bed, and wakes up to find a Darkness having overtaken the sun, which is generally not good for anyone, and Lasombra characters are just, feels bad man. The Veil of Darkness means vampires can be up 24/7, along with other things that don't like sunlight, and I imagine things like... plants not being thrilled. Also probably very confused animals. I'm not sure if it's like a dark atmosphere, or a physical body between the sun and Earth that just eclipses it whatever vantage point you look from, or what? Disciplines like Auspex, Obfuscate, and Obtenebration go a bit fucky. Then, a few days later, everyone feels a... Summons. For low-generation vampires with still-living Antediluvians, it's strongest. Higher gens with destroyed Antes, not so bad. So I'm sure you can guess what's summoning them.
Yep. Antediluvians. Banu Haqim are getting summoned to Alamut instead so Ur-Shulgi can turn them into an army against the Antediluvians, so godspeed resisting that, Elijah.
Off to the city of Gehenna (it's nearish Jerusalem). Elders of all stripes have been heading there to kill their childer in hope of being rewarded by their Antediluvians to get their powers restored, which is terribly rude. Indeed, the Antediluvians basically go, hey, can you not, and also can you start Embracing more childer for our armies, because they're not very nice either. Pretty much all the characters have been summoned for their crimes against the Antediluvians, and now they're gathered before them - Set, [Lasombra], Ennoia, Absimiliard, Malkav (as like... a cluster of identical little girls with glowing eyes because of course Malkav would use the Creepy Child trope), and [Toreador], who's so beautiful no one can tell if they're male or female. When the players and child!Saulot get there, they question him, but he's literally a six-year-old boy and is spooked. He also has the vial, somehow. Set takes it, and Kiddo says, "Don't drink it. You'll burn up." So Set makes Kiddo drink it instead, because he's a nice guy like that.
Kiddo's third eye opens. A giant black throne appears. The dozen small girls that are Malkav say, "Father's home." Kiddo!Saulot says, "No, Father's dead." Girls start screaming so loud people start bleeding thick black blood from their ears and doesn't stop until Set kills all twelve. A random stranger, now with their glowing eyes, steps forward and basically goes 'wow rude'.
Powerful beam of light appears. The Antes (aside from Kiddo!Saulot) writhe in pain. Angel appears, asks Saulot if he's willing to atone for all vampires. He agrees. Throne explodes, Antes fuckin' die, and everyone promptly frenzies and tries to eat each other, because vampires. In the aftermath of that, vampirism basically... ends. The player characters may be rewarded by becoming human again, as do a lot of Thinbloods, but most everyone older just, uh, dies. Vampirism ends, but the Earth has been saved.
That is... hmm, bittersweet, I think. It's a pretty compelling chronicle, very dramatic, but it's much less character-based and is more, 'the characters get dragged along to Do Shit'. I kind of like the idea of it being a story involving the characters we know, but for original characters, I think Wormwood is a much more compelling scenario so far.
Chapter 5 - The Crucible of God: Okay I'm tired now and this is the 'rocks fall everyone dies' scenario so gonna skim-read this one.
This is the chapter that introduces the level 10 power for all disciplines - Plot Device. The Antediluvians can do shit because they feel like it. Whew. Also, if an Ante spots anyone of their blood line, they can just make them... explode and their blood gushes into their mouth. Monch monch. Spot another clan mate? Roll to avoid frenzy. Just woke up? Roll to avoid frenzy. Good times!
And then the Tzimisce Antediluvian awoke as a mass of Vicissitude flesh fungal infestation with tentacles and lampray mouths and stuff and ate anything in reach until it ate, uh, every living thing in Manhattan. In one night. Bad day tbh. Eventually it burns when the sun rises, but what's left underground is still there and shit's still messed up. Like picking a leaf off a dandelion and it starts bleeding. Trees with faces, swarms of insects forming into eyes and watching. Nice and creepy. In the aftermath, it's basically infecting every life form on Earth with Vicissitude, which is distinctly uncool.
Absimliard has an animal army and currently looks like a giant humanoid jellyfish.
Oh boy here's the Banu Haqim part XD;; Interestingly, it's a lot better for them! Haqim doesn't eat his childer, they feel themselves strongly bonded to him but still maintain their own minds and wills. Downside, anyone who doesn't follow Haqim alone gets hunted down so he can eat them, so Ur-Shulgi's probably having a field day at being vindicated and poor Pyre/Elijah is hiding tf under the bed. Plus side, it only lasts a few months before something kills Haqim, so hey! And there's genuinely a way to become human again, especially for high-humanity, high-gen vampires, so that actually would be a genuinely good outcome for Pyre/Elijah.
Malkavians end up as a giant hive mind. Like, more than usual. [Lasombra] covers the world in darkness, then it stops. Ennoia merges with the entire planet and starts eating people. And vampires. And Methuselah. And other Antediluvians. She's kinda hangry at this point.
Tremere attempts to rule the entire world using the Human Genome Project as the true name of the entirety of humanity. It lasts about two minutes before [Tzimisce] turns him into a meat crime, along with, uh, the entire rest of the world, aside from the players, who were part of Tremere's ritual and thus immune from it.
Also Saulot, who they just met in the form of a little old man.
Turns out, he planned it all along. Lured Tremere to him, knowing that his body was tainted by using Tzimisce blood to become a vampire. Knew that when the Eldest returned, he'd be succeptable, and Saulot would be able to bounce out when the Eldest took over. Now, he can lead the characters in the only way to stop Planet Tzimisce, which is, uh, prayer and letting themselves get eaten. Could actually work! And you end up human again in the bargain!
End result - all vampires gone. Some of the more human ones do end up human again. Either way, world's still fucked. Open Antediluvian rule for several months has destroyed most of humanity. There are still remnants - former Malkavians who are still a bit weird, former Tzimisce who are a bit... Vicissitudey. Ennoia's still around! She's mostly chill except when she occasionally feels like rearranging landscapes. Otherwise, it's time to recover.
Alternate endings - that last one wasn't depressing enough, so here's a scenario where All Is Tzimisce, here's one where there's global extinction of literally everything except the player characters who gradually drop into torpor and never recover (or just flat out burn if they're outside), or there's one where the players are the only vampires left and start a new cycle with them as the new Antediluvians or something, oh and Caine's still kicking and is Very Displeased that God won't let him die already. Gooood times!
Rest is how to basically play it, and character sheets. Which go back to calling Sascha ‘it’ again *sigh* (And using the whole alien look despite explicitly mentioning that they look human again. Of course.)
So, final thoughts! Gehenna is... an interesting scenario. Lots of possibility for introspection. It’s very... apocalyptic, and that may bother a lot of people, since, well, for the most part, it’s going to be the end of playing your character as a vampire. Which I figure most people are playing Vampire the Masquerade for. So it’s basically either a hell of a finale, or you just don’t make use of it.
Favourite scenario did end up being Wormwood. I just really like the introspection and opportunity for hope. Did also enjoy Nightshade, but in a different way, I think? Like for Nightshade, I’d rather read it as existing characters working together, maybe as a novel, whereas for Wormwood I’d want to play it since it’s such an intensely personal kind of thing.
(I also still want a slumber party AU ngl.)

Vera Stone would swear to Pluto and back that she had no favorites, but everyone knew that was a lie. She had a soft spot for Jack Morton, and Y/n Stone, her son, had been the makings of her heart his entire life. Of course. What mother didn't favor her son over everyone else?
Unfortunately, Jack was having a hard time. After he'd gotten his memories taken, he had made friends with Y/n. His interest in Y/n had driven him away from Gabrielle and though they were playing friends, it was never a dating situation. When he got his memories back, things got a lot more complicated because Y/n wasn't just  part of the Order- he was the son of the Grand Magus. Things got progressively worse as Praxis became a problem and the whole world nearly ended. Again.
When Hamish was kidnapped, so was Y/n as they'd been together at the time. And though they'd gotten Hamish back rather quickly, the same wasn't true for Y/n. He was in the hands of Praxis and they weren't letting up on why they still had him. It wasn't until Salvador finally exposed what spell she wanted in exchange for Y/n that it really became what she meant by leverage. The problem was, even though her mom instincts were screaming, Vera knew she couldn't give these people this spell.
Then Vera did something really stupid.
She shot Salvador and killed her.
Alyssa had been at odds since her girlfriend had been sucked into the demon realm and her magic had been iffy. After Vera tore her down for not having magic and then it was exposed WHY she didn't, she felt betrayed. Vera had been bending backwards to protect Jack, Hamish, and Randall, but easily wrote Alyssa off for something that was Vera's fault. Not to mention she obviously had no care for Lilith. In her mind, Vera was worse than Edward Coventry and she wouldn't see reason. She didn't give her a chance to explain or fix her mistakes. In fact, the second Vera got the chance to do either, Alyssa disappeared with Praxis. Which left her on the side of those who were holding Y/n hostage.
During that time, Alyssa talked to Y/n a lot. The boy seemed fine with listening, watching her carefully as Alyssa went on and on about all of the mistakes of his mother and all those who had come before her. She had endless proofs as to how the Order was corrupt by power and selfishness, and Y/n stayed silent because... well she was right. In a way. Also he knew that arguing that people made mistakes wasn't going to get anywhere with her. Not to mention the book was magically enchanted to corrupt those in leadership... but he didn't talk about that.
It was when Alyssa began talking bad about the wolves that Y/n struggled to keep quiet.
"He's so self righteous and puffed up. Like he knows everything and does nothing wrong. Always has the right drink. Ever think he does it just because he's a drunk?" Alyssa would begin, rolling her eyes.
"He's trying his best," Y/n would reply immediately. It was the first time Alyssa had gotten him to speak. The first time anyone had. "And despite all the shit that would probably throw anyone else off, he's still a good leader and does what's right mot of the time. He's loyal and smart and hard working."
It was later when Alyssa tried the tactic again. She ranted about Gabrielle and Edward and the necromancer twins they'd dealt with a while back. She went on about names Y/n didn't know, and even his own mother. But the second she mentioned, "God he's never serious! He constantly goofs around and flirts and is a total idiot. He lets his emotions guide him and it makes him sloppy. If he used just a shred of logic he might actually get somewhere. Like his whole hatred of the Order even though they were the only ones with the resources to help them find Lilith. Even when some of us were really trying, he still refused to cooperate."
"To be fair," Y/n snapped. "We have a record of betrayal, power plays, and selfishness, as you've so generously bestowed upon me for the last while. He actually cares a lot and that's why he's so emotionally driven. Because he cares. Not enough people these days care. Not enough people these days FEEL and express and dare to stay upbeat in a world that takes anyone with a smile and seeks to destroy them with a deep rage. Like happiness is a sin or something."
The violent reaction to Alyssa insulting the Knights was unexpected. She never made herself talk badly about Lilith - she loved her after all, and talking bad about the possibly dead when that person was your whole world... terrible idea. She did however crack the case when she mentioned Jack to Y/n. "He has this hero complex that makes him so... annoying. He isn't the center of every problem. Not everything is about him. He doesn't have to save everyone. Not everything is Jack's Mission or something, you know? Maybe he should get over himself just a little."
"Shut the fuck up." Y/n's head was hanging forward, eyes on his lap. Before, he usually went on rants and berated Alyssa for talking badly about the wolves. What was it about Jack that made him not even be able to look at her? Was it that because his mother had trained him to never show weakness to the enemy, he was trying to cover up an especially touchy topic? Was it simply that he agreed with Alyssa enough that he had nothing more to say? Or perhaps he was nervous to expose something if he talked too much about Jack.
Whatever the reason was, Y/n had never acted like this before. He'd always been the professional, withdrawn kind of person. He was his mother's right hand. He kept to himself and rarely talked, if ever. He was quiet. A wallflower. People often wondered if he was capable of emotions at all, the same way they wondered about Vera. Except that he never got to the point that he was cracked enough to expose himself. Even when his mother faltered in her place of leadership to keep the Order and herself and everyone she cared about together at the same time, Y/n still held strong.
What was it about Jack Morton that he was always the weak spot in everyone's armor, no matter how tough or thick or well taken care of it was? He seemed to find cracks like a hungry dog hunting for food. It was kind of impressive actually.
Alyssa prodded at this weakness a lot. She mentioned Jack a lot. Every time Alyssa and Jack crossed paths, Alyssa would tell Y/n every detail of it. Force him to look at her as she said it. It was never a cruelty though. She could tell that he liked to hear it, and her act was from a point of curiosity only.
Then Salvador died and Alyssa rose to leadership. She tried people out to see if the fur would take to anyone, but it never did. Until...
Finally Vera broke. With the Tartarus Blasts threatening to coalesce into an Apocalypse Blast and wipe everyone out, on top of Alyssa taunting how close to making Y/n she was, Vera couldn't hold out anymore. So she brought him along to the exchange. Y/n came in, uninhibited and willing, but stayed by Alyssa's side. No one could place what exactly was wrong. He still nodded to his mother and seemed to be perfectly himself. He even rolled his eyes when Alyssa went on about her purpose, and got visibly angry when Vera told her what the spell actually did and Alyssa ignored her.
Yet, Y/n didn't act out against Alyssa either. He seemed to even be protective of her. Perhaps they were... dating? Or he had some feelings for her. Vera couldn't imagine Alyssa getting over Lilith like that but perhaps Alyssa had changed even more than Vera had thought.
It wasn't until Alyssa turned on Vera to kill her that Y/n made a move against her. "We made a deal," he reminded her. "Are you about to break your end?"
Exhaling sharply through her nose, Alyssa looked away. "She deserves to die."
"No she doesn't," Y/n snapped. It was the first time he'd defended his mother to Alyssa. It was the first time he could. "She made a mistake, but she's a good leader and she has a dream that a lot of people believe in." Y/n grabbed her shoulders. "I know you've been through a lot, Lys. I know you've been hurt by every single person you trusted or looked up to or anything along those lines. Betrayed. Left behind. Let down. I know how much pain you're in. You know I do." She sighed a little softer. "I also know that killing my mother will give you no peace, and you know it too."
Alyssa looked at him for a long time. "What, no speech about it's not who I am?"
Y/n chuckled at that. "It's not my right to tell you who you are. Only you can do that. But I'm telling you, revenge is a slippery slope, and we have a deal. Making an enemy of me will be bad for you now and in the future, if you somehow manage to escape. I can be an ally, and I would like to be. Not to mention that whatever you're looking for, you will not find in this."
For some reason, Alyssa believed what he was saying. Her lips curved in a frown. "Promise me you won't leave me, Y/n. Or betray me."
At that, the boy hesitated. "You know I want to stay."
She nodded. "I know that. But, we can be friends?"
Y/n smiled. "Anytime you need me, Lys. You know where to find me. We'll find Lilith, and we'll bring her home, and-"
It was that time that Jack Morton decided to join the party. He quickly caught them up on Lilith being back, but the whole demon situation going on with her. But he also told Alyssa she had to run. "I know how much you want to see her, Alyssa, but Midnight is coming here to kill you. He took over Gabrielle- what are you doing, Y/n?"
Alyssa had not moved a muscle. She didn't even seem worried. Y/n was removing his clothes, and that seemed to put her at ease. "Hello to you too, Jack." Y/n chuckled. "I would like to update you on how Alyssa and I here became friends." He pulled off the shirt he had after shedding the flannel he'd been unbuttoning, and kicked off his shoes. "She was looking for a champion. I needed to be able to get her out of here without killing people I cared about. We negotiated and then we talked and now we're super cool."
Jack's eyes went wide as Vera gasped. "You're-?"
"Yes," Y/n confirmed. He closed his eyes and felt the change take him. His body grew and widened until he was a wold. A werewolf. Alpha, of all of them.
"You're going to fight Midnight?" Jack demanded. "You could kill Gabrielle!"
"No," Alyssa corrected him, though she didn't know what had happened since she'd been gone that Jack cared about Gabrielle being alive or not. "Watch."
The doors busted open and there stood Midnight. The eyes of the two wolves locked and the temperature of the room rose about ten degrees. Jack groaned and clutched his hand over his heart. He shifted right there, whimpering on the ground. Midnight held, for a second. Another second. Yet another. Then he broke and looked away and Y/n stood tall and howled. Jack breathed in relief and Midnight took running off.
Alyssa was safe.
Both boys morphed back into humans. "I don't know who he'll go after, but everyone we care about should be safe, so no worries." He looked at Alyssa. "Go." She nodded and took off, alive and well. Jack cleared his throat, a wide smirk on his face. "What?" Y/n asked, eyebrows knitting in intrigue.
"You're whole take over there," Jack mused. "It was super hot actually."
Vera cleared her throat and it was then both boys realized they were naked and blushing, in front of Vera Stone who was Y/n's mother. Gross and awkward to say the least. "Sorry," Y/n dismissed. Vera glared Jack down and he seemed to become suddenly awkward and tense. "Mom, we're gonna head back to the Den to catch everyone up on the situation and check up on Lilith."
"And get dressed," Jack added in a rush. Y/n tried not to laugh at him.
"I'll be back later," Y/n told her.
That was new. His whole life, Y/n had always been second at the very best. Usually he was even further down the list, fine with living in the shadows because it allowed him to learn and live while dodging most stressors and dramas. He always relinquished dominance to his partner in a project, or the other person in the scenario, or his mother. Confident leadership was a good look on him. As much as his comment had bothered Vera, this role fit her son well and she couldn't say she wasn't proud. "Sounds good to me."
"Will you be okay?" Y/n asked gently. She hesitated then nodded and he returned it before looking at Jack. The boys both sobered before shifting back into wolves and booking it to the Den.
After everything settled and they started to get over shock and try and figure out what to do next, Jack took a second to pull Y/n aside. "What is it, Morton?" Y/n sighed.
"I'm just... I wanted you to know that I'm really glad you're back. Safe. I've been worried sick about you and with everything else going on- I mean I guess my worry is nothing against you being the one captured, but- Look I just-"
"I get it," Y/n reassured. He had a small smile on his face. "You know, bonding with Alpha helped me finally understand the power of being just a little vulnerable. Maybe we can figure this out... sometime? I doubt there will be a good time because it seems we're always facing some shit or another, but maybe we can get coffee some time around all the chaos?"
Jack smiled. "I would like that."
"Cool. See you tomorrow morning at 8am. Don't be late, Morton." With that, Y/n walked away.
"I won't!" He called after the boy.
The familiar sound of Vera clearing her throat sounded and Jack felt himself freeze and stiffly turn to face her. "Hey!" The word was long and high pitched in his mouth. Awkward and full of tension. He was never as afraid of her killing him as he was now.
"Let me get one thing straight," Vera snapped, pointing at him. "That is my son." That alone hit home. Jack knew better than most what having a son meant to Vera after she'd lost her daughter. "He has been through hell and I have had to do things I hate myself for to bring him home safe. I let loose self destruction incarnate to bring him home safely. Do not think for even a second that because I have some soft spot for you, that I will not be willing to gut you with my bare hands and teeth if you hurt him. My non-magic, non-werewolf, fingernails will carve you a new face. Is that clear?" Jack could only manage a nod. “Good." She stood straight. "Don't be late, Morton. My son cares a lot about punctuality." And with that she left.
Despite everything, Jack managed to find humor in the situation. No matter how much Vera Stone scared him, Y/n scared him more. He made Jack feel things that terrified him. Things he hadn't even begun to touch until since Alyssa. Things that had been warped and ruined for him because of Gabrielle. Things that he was now wanting for the second time in his entire life. Vera was scary, but Y/n? Y/n was terrifying.
Like mother like son I suppose.

ahh im so glad!!! thank you for your answer! to expand on the protective hcs, how do u think each of the wolves show their protective side?? like, what kind of things would they all do for eachother? ALSO (i hope this isnt too much fknhknh) but sexuality hcs and maybe family hcs too? like the kind of families they have outside of pack and how it effects how they get along with their wolfy fam
Of course! I love the anons I've been getting and yours blessed my night so much! I really wanna give you a name so I can refer to you if you ever come back 👉🏻👈🏻
Maybe,,,, maybe timber anon,,, cmere timber anon I fucking love you so much
(damn this became long)
But protective sides!
Jack: Jack is the kind to do anything to protect his pack, even if it means going behind their backs to work with the order. His idea of protecting them is taking important tasks on his own and electing explicit help from specific Order members when necessary. He doesn't want his packmates to get hurt in some way so when it's life or death and only one person needs to get hurt or die? That'll be Jack. He will do anything to make sure his new family is safe, even if it means putting his life on the line.
He tends to ignore their please to help him, often shutting them out to do it all himself. He rarely tells them the entirety of his plans, even when they're as a group. He'll always give the instructions of grouping the other wolves together but he always scopes around on his own. Never, NEVER does he let someone accompany him. If someone is gonna get hurt, it will only be him.
Hamish: he's very protective, that's definitely known. Just not in terms of he'll go out and kill someone for it just because they're a threat. He's much more of a talking kinda guy. Pep talks, stern conversations, that sorta thing. He's much more likely to see how far he can get with his words before he moves on with anything else, but he's prone to get angry. While he isn't physical, his tone gets harsh and he'll do everything considered to be rage except for scream. When he's angry, he talks fast and sharp. His words will jumble together and he will get up close and personal, but never hit.
His protectiveness is more within the pack than taking out threats. He's one to give them a dose of reality and tell them what's up.
Randall: his idea of protection is using common sense. He will always point out when something is a terrible idea and makes a stand. He refuses to be swayed from his position and even if he loses a game of beer pong and is forced to agree, his mind is never changed. He will ways express his worries. "The Order is our ENEMY", "they tried to kill us a couple months ago!", "they literally stole our memory to control us", "this is a FUCKING DEMON HOW DUMB ARE YOU GUYS??"
Although the pack tends to make him a pushover, he will never shut up. In fact, being shoved to the side in big important missions is what makes Randall louder. He WILL be heard and he WILL make sure of it. And even if someone says his idea is bad, he will stew. He will sit and broil over until he figures out how to get his idea and pull it off. Even if it means risking his own hide to kill someone to complete a ritual.
Lilith: oh yes, Lilith. The girl named after the mother of all demons. You know her idea of protection is vicious. She is the one who will openly go to slit someone's throat for so much as looking at one of her packmates wrong. And she is snarly. She will growl and snap at whoever gets too close and will gladly punch someone for saying something wrong.
Her idea of protection is genuine killing. She is open about how vicious she is and uses it to her advantage to keep her pack safe. She refused to let anyone lay a harmful finger on her family.
-----
Sexualities!
These are my personal views on these characters from watching the show! I'm completely open to all other interpretations!
Jack: straight! He may have dabbled a bit with men but in the end, he came out preferring girls.
Hamish: he doesn't label himself. To the outside view he is bisexual but if you ask him, he will say he likes whoever. Labels just aren't for him.
Randall: bisexual! And he is VERY open about it. He is a genuine 50/50 with boys and girls and will openly admire them all. He's also definitely the most queer and accepting given how casual he is with cross dressing and how affectionate he has been with both Hamish and Lilith separately.
Lilith: bisexual leaning girls! She has expressed interest in boys (as seen with Randall) but in the end definitely prefers girls. She may end up being lesbian later on but for now, she still has minor interests in boys from time to time!
-----
Their families outside of the pack
Jack: we already know about his family. With basically all of them gone, Jack is left alone in the world with only his friends. Its why he's so protective of them. He's already lost his blood, he doesn't want to lose his found family.
Hamish: he isn't that open about his family but he has mentioned them. Given how we don't know how old he is, it's difficult to determine a lot about him. From my basic guess, he's in his late twenties given his parents are both still alive and how close he is with the pack despite being the senior member.
He is DEFINITELY a trust fund baby, but he's good with it. He's spoiled with money (probably from his mom marrying a sugar daddy or something--which could allude to why he's "hot for teach") and resources. But, given how he's genuinely mature and seen to live within the den, it's safe to assume his family taught him how to properly use his money. They seem like they have a good relationship.
He's definitely an only child and it's very much why he seems so much more mature. He grew up on his own and after years of learning how to deal with people, he is able to properly deal with the pack and assert himself properly while still being open and genuine. He never takes full control.
Randall: he has brothers for sure, it's why he's so athletic. He comes from a family centered around sports and football and every Superbowl they would send the boys out to play with the rest of the family at their parties. Its what got Randall so into working out and sports. Of course there were fights, but he got along with them pretty well since they were all close in age. Obviously, he was the youngest but shh, only by a year.
Its why he's so energetic and playful with all the pack. He's boisterous and loves to harass the others, especially Hamish with the nicknames. To be fair, though, he nicknames EVERYONE. Jack is only ever Jacky Boy in his mind.
Lilith: she isn't too close to her family. She isn't open about them at all and never mentions them to anyone else. Most of her times over the holidays are spent on campus with either the pack or some of her friends from other classes. Its not entirely known why she doesn't like her family, but it's suspected it may have had to do with her feisty attitude and tendency to lash out at those close to her.
It's possible she had a sister and was known to be close with her despite a bunch of arguments. They were probably the reason Lilith ended up splitting away from her family.
Its why she tries so hard to stay close with the pack while also keeping them at a distance. She doesn't want a repeat of what happened with her sister; she can't lose another family.

I'm not even sorry for this one 💁‍♀️
Vera is AGAIN OOC as fuck because obviously I don't know how to write canon Vera, English is again horrible, and it's angstyyy! 😁
@bakulka @fanfics-she-wrote @everythingabouthatship - I won this one. 😘
Angsty Vermish fic ❤️
This has to be some kind of a fucking joke.
Because no way this situation is happening seriously.
Vera Stone, Grand Magus, is standing in front of new Massachusetts Temple Magus and this just can't be true. She really waits for someone to jump from behind the door, laughing, and telling her it's just a joke, but it doesn't happen.
With almost sheepish smile, Derek Johnson is standing in front of her. Her ex boyfriend. Father of her dead daughter.
"Vera..." He says quietly. "Hi."
She wants to do three hundred things right now. She wants to run, to yell, to claw his eyes out, to hug him, to kiss him, to call Hamish-
Hamish.
The thought of him stops the madness in her head.
"Hi, Derek," she answers simply and tries to hold the cold tone of voice but failes miserably.
"I... Haven't seen you for a long time."
"Not exactly my fault, is it?" she snaps.
"I know, I know, and I'm incredibly sorry, Vera. I really am. I wasn't ready to be a father back then."
She scoffs. "Because I was so ready to be a mother."
Derek holds his hand up as a sign of peace. "I know I was the grand coward," he sighs.
"Yeah, you were. Now, back to the work. You were selected by your Massachusetts chapter and by the Gnostic council as the new Temple Magus. It won't be easy, I warn you. You have to be careful. You have all of your chapter's acolytes under your wing now so listen to me carefully. I don't want to hear about one single unnecessary death from your temple."
She dips into explaining him his duties and tries to ignore his body warmth when he stand closer to her to see what she's showing him in some book.
"I would love to be a part of our child's life if you allow me," Derek says when they're done and after they agree he will stay here for a week or so, to observe her work. Vera tenses up.
"She's dead."
"WHAT?!"
The next thing she knows is she's crying, and Derek rushes to hug her. He doesn't let her go when she sobs out what happened.
Suddenly the door are flying open, and Hamish is standing there, with a drink in his hand. Of course, it's 4 PM. He always brings her drink at this time. And she's still in Derek's embrace.
Hamish watches how she pulls away from the man and how he doesn't want to let her go. He watches his lingering touch while Hamish is setting the glass on her table.
"Your drink, Grand Magus," he says blankly, and turns his back to them.
"Thank you," Vera calls softly, which makes him to turn back again. Her eyes are wet. And so incredibly vulnerable. He wants to hold her. But, obviously, there is someone else to do it now.
"You don't have to thank me, Grand Magus," he answers, and goes away.
Derek stays for more than a week. It's been over a month now. He spends all his time in the Temple. With Vera.
Hamish is just tired and sick of all this. He tries so hard to maintain everything in his life and he feels he just reached the bottom of his strength.
His pack kind of excommunicated him. Randall is mad at him because he's 'not acting as the leader should act', and Jack doesn't care enough, as he's consumed with his relationship with Alyssa. Lilith is the only one who seems to care, but she has her own life. And yet, he's still trying to keep them all safe because excommunicated or not, it's his duty and he needs to do it.
He teaches fucking big bunch of classes now, because Krowchuk is on long term sick leave. He's still Magistratus, so he works for Order as well.
And the most painful thing is the fact Vera is spending all her free time with a man she swore she hates to the guts. And she enjoys it.
The last blow is delivered when he works on the drink for her (yes, he's so stupid he still does that) and hears her loud, genuine laugh from her office, where she is with Derek. After a few seconds, the door opens, and the man walks to the bar.
"I'll take it to her, Magistratus, thank you," he says with a smile. Sly smile. "She will never be yours, young man. I was the first and I will be also the last."
Hamish stands there for a few minutes, feeling completely empty. This has happened only once in his life so far - when Cassie died. Vera is still very much alive, but he lost her also.
Fuck this.
Hamish almost runs from the temple, hops in his car and drives to his parents' cabin, about an hour from Belgrave. Once he turns the engine off, he fishes his phone out of his pocket and types a single message to her.
Derek is telling Vera some story and she listens, of course, when he phone chimes, announcing new message.
"Leave it," says Derek, but she reaches for in anyway.
Hamish [5:26PM] I quit.
"Wait," she silences Derek. What does Hamish mean by quitting? His TA position? The Order? He can't exactly quit Knights. Or does he mean he's quitting them? She dials his number. It rings and rings and rings, but no one answers.
"Fuck," she grits between her teeth and furiously types a message. Then another and another.
Vera [5:30PM] What do you mean?
Vera [5:31PM] What are you quitting??
Vera [5:31PM] Answer me!
Vera [5:32PM] Hamish, please, tell me what's wrong?
Vera [5:35PM] This is not funny.
Vera [5:48PM] Hamish where are you? Tell me where you are.
Vera [5:54PM] MAGISTRATUS, COOPERATE!!!
Derek watches her attempts to contact him and of course he doesn't like it. Vera is his. She shouldn't give a fuck about the BOY when she has *the* MAN next to her. He tries to bring her attention back to him, but with no success. Vera tries another call, and this time the person answers.
"Ms. Bathory, do you happen to know where Hamish is?" she asks immediately, to hell with Mr. Duke.
"Why do you suddenly care?" asks Lilith back in her typical 'Kilith' way.
"Ms. Bathory-"
"Because to me, you didn't seem to bother with Hamish during the past month."
"Can you please tell me where he is?" Vera's voice is soft and if Lilith wouldn't know her, she would say she's almost begging.
"I don't know," she gives up. "But I would check the cabin. His parents own it, we crashed there once or twice for holidays. I'll send you the address."
"Thank you, Lilith," Vera says and ends the call. After a minute, Lilith really sends her the address.
"What's going on?" Derek asks for like 108th time.
"Hamish, the man who makes all the drinks texted me 'I quit' and I need to find him," Vera answers. "Whatever is happening, I'll help him to find a solution."
"Well if he wants to leave then let him leave, no? After all, it's gonna be better for you."
Vera turns to him with disbelief. "Excuse me?!"
"It's more than obvious the boy is in love with you. He's so bad at hiding it he could tattoo it on his forehead. Poor kid no way reaches your limits, not even with some branch two meters long. And I already told him now that I'm here, he doesn't need to bother anymore. Let him leave. It's for the best."
Grand Magus feels pure rage flooding in her veins. "What LIMITS are you talking about, Derek?! Who the fuck gave you the right?!"
Derek smiles. "Honey, we both feel we're the right match for each other. Don't deny it." He tries to reach for her, but she yanks her hand from his grasp.
"Oh my fucking God, I can't believe I was so stupid! I really thought you want to learn about your work, but all this time, you were just trying to get into my panties! And how do you even dare to talk to Hamish about him bothering or not?!" she's literally screaming on top of her lungs.
"If you need to know it, we were a thing long before you came here. Me and Hamish, and I was the one who iniciated it. I never want to have anything with you again, because it's you who can't reach HIS limits. Hamish would never- fuck this. You don't deserve to know him at all."
"Now who's running from who?!" Derek yells when she gathers her belongings, ready to chase Hamish to the other side of the planet if she needs to.
"I'm not running from you. I'm running TO him. And I'm not leaving you knocked up at 16 with words 'I don't fucking want to be dad, God knows who you fucked with!'" Vera hisses, and magically throws - literally - him out of her office.
She's driving fast, violating the speed limits, but her heart is pounding painfully in her chest and her mind is screaming at her to go even faster. What had she done? What had possessed her that she almost dumped her source of happiness and joy for Derek?! How could she hurt Hamish so much, when she promised to herself multiple times she never wants to hurt him?
Suddenly, her hands grip the steering wheel with such force her knuckles turn white.
Please, please, oh God please, he didn't think he's quitting his LIFE, right?!
She feels bile in her throat and swallows forcefully. The image of his lifeless body is in front of her eyes and a sob escapes her. No. No, no, no, no, no, NO. He wouldn't do that, not because of her, she's not worth it!!!
Vera drives even faster.
When she arrives, it's 6:47PM. Normally, she would be impressed she managed to get there so fast, but now, everything she needs is to know Hamish is alive.
Vera doesn't bother with knocking or whatever, she just bursts through the door.
Hamish is sitting on the couch, in front of TV that is switched off, and just stares at the black screen.
"Hamish-" Vera manages to breathe and he looks at her. There is so much pain in his eyes she almost cries out.
"What do you want, Grand Magus," Hamish sighs, and she drops her purse in the floor and runs to him.
"You," she says. "I want you and I want us, forever. I'm so sorry, Hamish, for everything I put you through. For the past month. I'm so sorry, can you forgive me? Please... I don't know what to do without you. I don't know how to breathe right when you're not next to me."
"You have Derek now, don't you?" he says, and she puts her hands on his cheeks.
"No. I don't even wanna know what he told you but it's not true. I never wanted him back. I have to admit it was interesting for me to have him around again, but I never wanted him back as my boyfriend, or partner, or lover or whatever connected with feelings. I have you for all of these things. And you have me, Hamish. You have all of me." She climbs in his lap and feels so relieved when Hamish wraps his hands around her waist.
"I love you, Hamish. I've never loved anyone as much as I love you, and I never will. Can you forgive me? I'm not asking for instant forgiveness, but someday?"
Hamish leans in and kisses her, and Vera kisses back, with all the 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' and 'I want you' and basically every emotion she's feeling.
After their century long kissing (and yet it's not enough, it never can be enough), Vera hugs him tightly, presses his face into his neck, and Hamish is swinging them slowly and gently from left to right. Neither of them says a word, and they don't need to. Vera just wants to spend rest of her life engulfed in his embrace, and Hamish never wants to let her go. They both came home today.
Home is where the heart is.

Tbh, what I wouldn’t give for this reboot or softboot or shutthefuckupboot to end with just.....all the original and New Teen Titans from pre-Flashpoint continuity to just replace their current counterparts, be the ages they’d be if not for the constant reboots and with all previously created Titan kids present and accounted for (Lian, Robert, Cerdian, Ma’ri, Irey, Jai and Jake).
And like....just fucking roll with it. Don’t even try explaining it. Nobody knows. Nobody cares. Some Cosmic Meta Overseer or the Grand Vizier of Inter-Universal Post-Temporally Anomalous Hijkinks or whatthefuckever shows up and is like “your appearance here and now is strange and unnatural and defies all logical explanation...” and the Titans all just look at each other and shrug.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Stranger Danger,” Dick says. “We’ve been here the whole time.”
“I had a nightmare where Roy was always wearing this baseball cap that he never washed and everything was different. It was all quite troubling,” Garth contemplates. “But then I woke up and it was all just a dream. Except Roy was still there, but you can’t win them all.”
“Fuck you, Fish and Chips,” Roy says amiably.
“Blimey,” Garth says, dry as a shoreline at low tide in the middle of a drought. "Watch your bloody language in front of the wee ones.”
“Neptune’s beard,” Cerdian groans into his hands. “Why are our parents so embarrassing.”
“And what’s the big deal about using bad words around us? Its nothing we haven’t heard from like, supervillains trying to kidnap us,” Lian says. She’s bored and polishing a knife her mother must have given her as a gift slash way to piss Roy off - though at this point he errs on the side of just sighing and being glad its only lethally sharp, rather than the lethally sharp and poison-edged gifts from before his and Jade’s current ceasefire. “Or from all of you when you’re scaring the supervillains from trying that ever again.”
“They’re just worried about corrupting us at a young age,” Robert says. His mischief is only somewhat masked behind the baby-faced innocence he only has a couple years left to make the most of. “Nobody wants one of us to grow up to become an evil world-destroying supervillain. That would be terrible.”
Donna eyes her son and sighs. Then pivots a glare on the rest of her teammates. “When I figure out which one of you is responsible for teaching my ten year old to embrace nihilistic humor....”
“It wasn’t us,” Dick protests. “I warned you against letting Jason babysit.”
“You always blame your brother.”
“Well yeah, but that doesn’t make it not true. I mean, we love Jay, but there’s a reason Kori and I don’t let him babysit the kids.”
“Anymore,” Kori tacks on. A smirk edges up the corner of her lips. She tends to be more amused by that particular subject than Dick, but then again, she hadn’t been the one who had to explain smoking tree stumps scattered across the Wayne estate to Bruce.
Ma’ri frowns up at her father. “I thought you said that was because you wanted me to at least get to poo-berty before Uncle Jace teaches me more about how to blow things up bigger with my starbolts.”
“Daddy can have more than one reason, sweetheart.”
“Ahem.” The omnipotent and absolutely baffled guardian of time, space and cross-dimensional wankery cleared his throat. He would be peeved at being so blithely forgotten about and ignored, if not for the fact that he had never before experienced being ignored or being peeved as a result, so he lacked the vocabulary to explain his current mood. “If we could get back to the matter of your inexplicable presence in the here and now, and potential ramifications it might have on the intended trajectory of current space/time events.”
“That’s a lot of big words that don’t interest me.” Wally yawns and stretches. “I’ll leave the resident brainiacs to sort this all out. Someone call me if like. There’s a bank robbery. Or Godzilla attacks New York. We haven’t gotten to fight a nice old-fashioned giant monster in awhile, I feel like.”
Victor joins him in edging for the door. Technically speaking, given their particular powers and expertise, they were among the most suited for dealing with their unexpected visitor.
But of greater concern to them is the gleam they’d both noticed in Lilith’s eye while she sits back quietly taking stock of their guest. Her head rests against her hand and one finger is casually tap-tap-tapping against her temple in a rhythm that to two of her oldest friends, might as well have been the Morse code signal for “danger, danger Will Robinson, danger.”
After all, it was the kind of (memorable) image she tended to present right before she did (memorable) things like - oh, (quite memorably) pissing off the entire pantheon of Greek gods, just for the hell of it. And also, the drama. Can’t forget the drama.
They successfully pull the ripcords on their parachutes and eject out the doorway just as Grant Emerson sidles past them and joins the commotion.
“Hey, does this have anything to do with why there’s apparently some guy running around in a mask and acting like a giant asshole while telling everyone he’s me?” Grant asks as he wanders over next to Roy. “I’m thinking I should sue, actually. On account of ‘emotional damages.’ Get it? Heh.”
Roy rolls his eyes and looks over at Dick. “Speaking of never being left alone with someone’s kids again....”
Dick hums and gives a little half-shrug of acknowledgment. “Yeah, I get that.”

Task: Development
Describe your character in a few words. Funny, amazing, the best -- Finn’s words. I would say charming, friendly, loyal
What do you know about your character that they don’t know yet? Finn is 100% unaware that he’s a big doofus, and he thinks he’s an absolute catch.
What are your character’s major flaws? Generally just being a bit of an idiot, not really thinking before he acts, and being overly cautious about certain things.
What would your character give their life for? Noel, Wyatt, Mira, Briar. They’re his absolute world, and Finn would die to protect any of them. @absentialucis @wyatt-thompson @obscuritas-est-lux
What is your character’s greatest asset? His charming smile? His bluest of blue eyes? His very small ego? It would probably be how caring he is, when ti comes to any living thing, human or animal.
What would completely break your character? Noel died and he’d never felt anything like that before, like the world was collapsing in on him. The loss of someone he is so close to... no pain will ever be as bad as that.
How does the image your character tries to project differ from the image they actually project? Finn likes to portray that he’s a ladies man, that everyone wants him when really he’s just a bit of an idiot and everyone just sort of goes, ‘Oh, it’s only Finn’
What is your character afraid of? Now don’t laugh, but he’s very very afraid of jellyfish. He’s a son of Poseidon who hates a sea creature, but absolutely no-one knows.
Where would your character fall on a politeness/rudeness scale? I’d say he’s definitely an 8 in the politeness range - he’s a nice guy after all!
If your character could choose a different identity, who would they pick? Finn wants to be Batman. Who cares if he’s real or not, he wants to ride around in the Batmobile, wear cape and speak with a really deep voice.
In what or whom is your character’s greatest faith in? His family, of course. Finn has faith in them all 100%, that no matter what happens they will always have each others back.
What was the best thing in your character’s life? His friendship with his brother, was always a massive highlight of his childhood. He always had someone to rely on, before Wyatt came around of course that was his best friend.
What was the worst thing in your character’s life? His mother. Lilith is... a challenge. Let’s just leave it at that, shall we?
What is a favorite flavor or smell of your character?  The sea air, the smell of seaweed, it all makes Finn feel safe and at peace.
What seemingly insignificant memories stuck with your character? Finn in uncontrollable laughter “NOEL BEING STUCK IN THE TREE... THE CAT... ”
What is your character’s secret wish? To get away from Icaria, although it’s not a secret to some people. He wants to get those he cares about away from this evil place, and somewhere much safer where gods won’t appear and smite people during charity events.
What is your character’s greatest achievement? Becoming a veterinarian - people doubted him because of his party boy attitude, but he was able to pass his exams with flying colours.
What is your character’s deepest regret? Not being there when Noel died to stop it from happening, and not being there to stop Briar from being kidnapped. It makes him sick to know that these things happened, and he wasn’t there to at least try and stop it from happening.
What is your character’s deepest disappointment? Being a Thompson by name. It means he’s affiliated to Lilith and Morgana, which he’d rather not.
What is your character reluctant to tell people? That he’s terrified of jellyfish? That he’s also thirty years old and is getting past the point where he wants to be out at 3am dancing, but he’ll still do it to keep up pretences.
What is your character hiding from themselves? That he’s not 23 any more and has to slow down. He also wants to play it cool with Briar, but inside he really just wants to tell her that he loves her, and wants her to move in with him.
What makes this character angry? What calms them? People fucking with his family. Don’t do it. Just... don’t. Noel is probably the only person on the island who can calm him down when he’s that heated, because he knows him so well.
List situations in which your character would not have control over themselves. Anything happening to his family, his friends, his girlfriend or his practice. If someone challenged his intelligence as well because of his personality, that would rile him up.
How strong is your character’s emotions? Controllable? Uncontrollable? They’re quite uncontrollable at certain times, once he snaps, it’s hard for him to calm down. However, being a vet, he knows how to remain calm in stressful situations. Kinda. Well, no, actually, that’s a lie. That only works with animals and surgery. He’s a very unstable person.
What wakes your character up in the middle of the night? Briar stealing the duvet - he cannot sleep when he’s cold, he’s a bit of a moaner about it to be fair. He hates being cold when he’s sleeping. Other than that, he sleeps like a log. Someone could break in and he wouldn’t hear a thing.
Describe a recurring dream and/or nightmare. The Jellyfish nightmare? Erm, no ignore that, he doesn’t want anyone to know about that. Theres another one though. He’s a puddle that keeps being stepped in by people. He has no idea what he means, but he doesn’t like it.
Describe your character’s family. His mother is the worst mother alive, period. His siblings are the best in the world. His half siblings are great. His cousins are amazing. He’s got a great, huge family in fact - just removed the previous generation, and they’d all be better off.
Name your character’s favourite person and why. Noel. Sorry Briar, but it is. His brother is his other half, with only a short amount of time between them in age, Finn and Noel are a pair that will never be broken up. He can’t remember a time that the two have ever seriously argued, not just over something petty, or in stressful situations. He’s just his best friend.
How many friends does your character have? Finn actually has quite a few friends! He’s a personable person, likes to chat and is generally very open and friendly, so he makes friends quite easily.
How many friends does your character want? As many as he can get! In Finn’s eyes, one can never have too many friends.
How would a friend or close relative describe your character? They’d probably just sigh and be like... well, he’s just Finn, isn’t he?
Who depends on your character? Why? Do the animals in the surgery count? They aways rely on Finn to be in every day (with Noelle’s help of course because he’d be absolutely lost without her) to feed them and make them better. He likes to think that his siblings depend on him too, but he also knows that they’re very independent people. @icarialex
Who does your character most want to please? Why? Obviously Briar - he’s a little bit, teensy tiny bit older than her and wants her to think that he’s a cool guy, and not just a thirty-year old weirdo that has a younger girlfriend. There is a slight worry in his mind that she’s going to find someone closer to her age and leave him, but he also knows that won’t happen. Probably.
How does your character feel about sex? Loves it. Here for it, all day, every day. Well, most anyway. He’s got to get up early to go to work.
How does your character feel about romantic relationships? Finn loves what he has with Briar. Before realising that he was falling for her, he was all up for sleeping around for the rest of his life following his failed wedding attempt. But she changed things up, didn’t she? Made his head do a 180, and he’s fallen hard.
If your character had to live in utter seclusion, what six items would they bring? Wait, so he can’t bring Briar or his family? Then he’s not going. He has to? Ugh, fine. A collection of Agatha Christie books, his hot water bottle (don’t even think about judging), a razor (to keep his hair and beard perfect of course), a sleeping bag, his comfiest hoodie (he’ll get it back off of Briar), and a guitar. May as well learn a new skill whilst he’s stuck alone.
What is your character’s most noticeable trait and most noticeable physical feature? His eyes are pretty blue, they’re quite striking. And he’s always got a smile on his face, showing that he’s a very open person who is always ready for a chat.
How does your character feel about work? Finn loves what he does. He gets to spend all day with animals, annoying the hell out of Noelle, and making them better again - he’s an animal hero, what’s not to love!
Write one headcanon. Finn’s three favourite movies are Titanic, Armageddon and Mary Poppins. Titanic is so emotional, what’s not to love, Armageddon has Bruce Willis saving the world, and JULIE MOTHER FUCKING ANDREWS in Mary Poppins, it’s magical.
Write one additional thing about your character. He really does want to get a dog, but he’s worried about getting one because he’s seen what happens when dogs get sick, and couldn’t bear to love something and for it to get old in front of his eyes. It makes him sad.

What do you think about Adam and Lilith?
im kinda not sure why you ask ME what i think about them cause ya know… i already said i don’t ship them  idk if you saw it but anyway I don’t think about them at all lmao but now i have to??/ i guess to answer this huh
i tried to answer to it a few times already and idk how to do it without going into much details or write it so i don’t get 1246 messages of how horrible i am for doing it just because i ship something else??? like, you ok? so here i go writing a lot which has 0 sense and idk you asked you get it
if you followed me since 2018, since i started watching caos, you would know that i don’t like the way adam was introduced in the show. at all. I am fine with adam being there, i have nothing against him and him and lilith together, even though i ship madam spellman, it doesn’t mean i automatically hate other ships and i kinda feel like that’s what everyone thinks while throwing stupid asks in my inbox or just writing about madam spellman shippers in general out there.
the show itself stated (and i already mentioned it somewhere here) that mary wardwell lives alone, that she is alone, that was right in the first episode. no adam was mentioned before, nothing indicated his existence at all. so yes, when they said there will be mary’s fiance it was like “what? what the fuuuuck?” so this is the main issue i have with adam being there. if they, at least once, slightly, mentioned his existence - i would not throw tantrums about adam :D
and you know what? it took few episodes, a lot of time when you have just 9 episodes in part 2, so i don;’t think writers did not know what to write in part 2 and came up with this idea AFTER part 1, as we know it’s all just s1 and most of it should be written or at least the main ideas of it should be there in the beginning, if it was something small then yes, but it was not small thing, if so, then i think they just don’t know what they do with characters and what to do with them now, and we can get any possible shit in part 3 and 4. i mean, they have to have some kind of an idea of where they go with main characters…
and while yeah, i can excuse this with “this is caos, when they did something right at all???” but i should not, writers should do it so we don’t have such a plotholes.
and if anyone goes here with: if you don’t enjoy don’t watch i will find you lmao
i enjoy caos, i hate it but enjoy :’D it’s difficult
so, to adam and lilith.
adam himself is… meh :D he could be more, but he was there just to make lilith’s character deeper, he was… a tool. ok, i always write something is “meh” but never explain what does it mean. i mean he is not worth of my attention, he is there but i don’t care, he was not interesting enough for me to like him or hate him, he is just there. i just don’t feel anything towards this character… if he was something in the show without lilith, then maybe i would like him? yeah, he was nice and all, but also was not?? i did not like him kissing mary just because they are in relationship, even if you are in a relationship it doesn’t mean you go and kiss the other person when they clearly don’t want it. on the other hand he really tried to be nice, dinner and all, he at least bought flowers lmao at first i was really like ready to hate him because i will never stop going about it - he never existed before! and appears from nowhere. but somehow he was not that horrible to hate him :’D some scenes were funny, some were just to make it clear what lilith thinks about something like marriage, can’t remember but i guess he said back then that they will not do anything she is not comfortable with - which is like GOOD, you dude grow up, thanks. but i am glad he was not there to have funny scenes only.
also, yes, lately i am so tired of hetero shit on screen that anything which is hetero is automatically OH FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE - AGAIN??? so i was not expecting anything here, only hate towards it all :D but i guess, since i was like that, that is exactly why i did not hate it. not good enough to love but i was not expecting anything good, so whatever it was - it was not bad. it was funny in some scenes, mostly because michelle gomez has incredible facial expressions and also, you can clearly see - she enjoys playing with another human being. oh poor thing, give michelle people to play with :’D
as someone who is here because they love michelle and lilith, i look at adam from the side of how he affected lilith. and again, he would not be there at all without lilith, he would be nothing in the show, he would have nothing to do, he was just a tool for another character’s arc. I loved seeing her like that, not entirely, but most of the time, like she was not doing shit for dark lord, was not preparing herself to meet him, she was just drinking tea/coffee, doing school job, sitting peacefully, i loved seeing her smile. not that mischivious one, or that one where you realize, that’s it, that woman’s gonna kill me bye bye :D but that warm smile, let michelle gomez smile more!
let her play female joker
i mean no, not that kind of smile but it’s not a bad idea :’D dc take note
if adam and lilith would become a thing and dark lord would not kill him, i guess i would not care for the ship, i would not be against it, it would be just there. not my type of a ship… like there’s lois lane and clark kent and i don’t give a shit about them, they are there and let them be, they don’t touch me, i don’t touch them lmao but i do realize how much lois means to clark, so yes, i do realize adam means something for lilith, and i don’t erase it because i ship something else, there’s this thing… idk what it’s called, it’s when you ship something and ship another thing also, or just don’t hate it because you ship the first thing. aham, good thing by the way, ya all could use it.
there was this theory here, can’t remember who wrote it tho, that adam never existed at all and it was all dark lord’s plan to see if lilith is still on his side or something or torture her, good one, that would be such a great if it was real in the show, cause that would explain why he never existed before. and it would not erase her growth that we see, that soft (sOFT?) side of her, that domestic mother of demons/queen of hell side which walks on heels in her own house in the middle of the night to drink some water :D. it would be unfair to her, but dark lord already killed adam and made her eat him, so what could be worse?  i really did not want her to suffer that much :( she deserves so much better that what she gets…
honestly, life is unfair to lilith so much, she was there all the time for dark lord, she did everything for him and he did not even hold his promise, he just gives the throne to someone who doesn’t even want it and clearly doesn’t deserve it, just because you are a daughter of the king doesn’t mean you deserve the throne. lilith really worked for it, she earned it! she deserves the crown and the throne. she was there for lucifer for so long and he just uses her… and once she gets something nice, something good, it’s taken away so brutally! so yeah, if adam never existed and was just dark lord’s manipulation of lilith, then yeah, it’s much worse but again, he already made her eat adam… none of other characters get so much shit in this show. if they make lilith suffer more i swear i will buy ticket and find them all and i will go to them with a chainsaw.
anyway, i saw people going miles writing how madam spellman shippers are all like: lilith never loved adam for real. like i have not seen those shippers myself but somehow i saw everyone else writing how bad MS shippers are… like yes, we have idiots around, but which ship doesn’t have such an idiots? like dude, why do you even care? ship your ship and be happy lmao same goes for everyone, stop fucking fighting over something that doesn’t even exist. canon or not? why do you care, it’s all fiction in the end. just because your ship is canon doesn’t allow you to tell everyone else to shut up about something that is not. can we all just ship whatever we want and have fun??? like, if you can’t laugh at your own ship - then honey, you have a problem. like, i will be the first one making shitty jokes about madam spellman :’D wait, i already do it.  you can love something without being too serious, it can bring you joy and happiness, but you don’t have to ruin it with all the shit.
Tumblr media
be smart ffs everyone: IGNORE WHAT YOU DON’T LIKE, block it, scroll down, stop spreading hate.
and ya know, if you say that YOU DON’T WANT TO INSULT SOMEONE/YOU DON’T HATE IT BUUUUUUUUT… and then go miles writing how you hate it and insult someone doesn’t mean that doesn’t count as an insult, just because in the beginning you stated that you don;t want to insult or you don’t hate it. you do! i don’t really remember what it’s called but it has a name…
anyway
i can’t say she loved him, he was nice to her, he tried to make her happy, but i don’t believe in love which happens so fast, and events were going really fast in those parts. so i think she enjoyed that there’s someone who cares for her finally, and she cared for adam for sure, she liked him, he was someone who finally was good to her, something that did not happen for a loooong time. so yeah, taking it away from her was really unfair and i hate everyone for it.  but loved? not sure. bUT she was totally ready to give it a chance.
also, don’t comment, it was my opinion and i don’t need a conversations about anything here. you asked you get it. don’t throw your opinions here, don’t reblog to add what you think, make your own posts for it. please.

Story Post
It all started with a stupid text. Lilith somehow found herself in a big ole group chat with a whole bunch of people. Sure she had texted in it before since her mom was in it but not for as long as she had this time. Still she conversed with Kurt and he decided to talk about how JD and all of them were.... ghosts. Lilith didn’t really like ghosts all that much, it’s a long story for another day. She accused him of lying and they soon made plans to meet up at the school.  Lilith had no idea why she agreed to meet up with Kurt. It would be useless, ghosts weren’t real they couldn’t be. Still she changed into somewhat warm clothes, threw on her trench coat, grabbed her set of keys and snuck out the window. Her mom didn't like her going out so late especially to meet up with a stranger. She climbed down the side of her house and landed on the grass. She got in the car and started it before pulling out of the driveway and heading towards the school. Okay so maybe she also grabbed her pocket knife but it was for safety. Just in case.
Westerburg would have usually been locked but Kurt had already unlocked the front door to the school and went back to the library where he and Lilith agreed to meet up. He didn't sit down as he thought that he would fall asleep again, and then Lilith would think he was joking. He wasn't quite sure why he cared. He hadn't really crossed paths with her except for the party and JD's fucking obsession with all things Sawyer. Pacing the library floor seemed good enough, so he decided to do that until she showed up.Lilith made it to the school quickly, parked and got out. As Kurt promised the door was unlocked so she opened it luckily not making any sound. She made her way through the school’s hallways towards the library. Her footsteps quiet as she neared the room. She got to the room only having gotten lost once and walked in slowly. "Hello?" This sounded like the beginning to a really bad horror movie. Once she spoke Kurt flipped lights on and visualized, appearing before her. "Yo. What do I have to do to get you to believe?" He punctuated the last word with sarcasm and an eye roll. Lilith, not expecting him to pop out of nowhere, screamed and jumped back as he appeared in front of her.
Kurt couldn't help but laugh a little. "Hey. You good? There's a chair if you need to sit down." He gestured to the chair lazily. "So what's up?" Lilith was silent was she stood still, almost frozen. She kept her eyes locked on Kurt, this had to be some sort of hallucination from her head hitting the wall a couple days ago. Kurt frowned and waved a hand in front of her face. "Yoo-hoo, anyone home? I promise you ain't dreaming." Lilith snapped back to reality and took a step back. "This isn't real. You aren't real. I'm going crazy. I'm insane, I'm fucking insane." She mumbled to herself over and over. "No, L, I guarantee you I'm real. You aren't going insane. Don't pull a McNamara on me. You're fine." Kurt shifted a chair over to her. "Sit." Lilith took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. This wasn't real so why not just go along with it? She walked over to the chair and sat down. Kurt grinned at her. "I mean, at least you can hear me. But you might think you're hallucinating? How do I ~prove myself~ to you?" Before Lilith could answer a voice cut her off.
"A party? And I wasn't invited?" A raspy voice suddenly piped up. Its owner materialized a few minutes afterwards, with her hands on her hips, her milky white eyes judging her. "Well, Lilith. What a pleasure seeing you. Has anyone told you you look just like your mother?" Heather Chandler decided to join the conversation. This caused Lilith to scream, once again, and jumped back almost tipping the chair but luckily it didn’t. "Nope not real. This isn't real. My head is just messed up from what happened. You are not real." She said quickly as she stood up and walked backwards towards the door. Kurt sighed and scowled at Heather. "Look, you went and scared her! Even more!" He turned back to Lilith. "Sorry, L. But we're real and even if you think we're not, because you hit your head really hard, doesn't change the fact that I'm a ghost." Lilith shook her head repeatedly. "Ghosts aren't- they can't be real." Kurt frowned. "And why not?" Lilith ran her hand through her hair. "Because they can't!" She snapped as she glared at Kurt. Kurt stepped back, hands raised. "I mean, I'm kind of living- or should I say dead, proof that they are real? No need to get snappy, L." Lilith took a shaky breath as she shook her head again. "Wait- you said JD is also a ghost in the chat?" She said quietly, doing a complete 180 in the conversation remembering the conversation before making plans to meet up. Kurt raised an eyebrow at this sudden topic change. "Yeah? Big cloud of smoke? Blew himself up? Meridel knows this already."
"JD as in the JD my mom was friends with back in high school?" Lilith asked as she ran her hand through her hair nervously. "....yes?" He said it cautiously. "Jason Dean. Class of '89. Dickhead extraordinaire." Lilith widened her eyes as she covered her mouth with her hands. She was freaking out. "No. No this isn't- it can't be true." She was muttering to herself as she continued backing up. "Well, it is. Sorry to burst your bubble, L. I'd call him up myself but he disappeared." "Disappeared?" Lilith leaned against the wall, it steadying her, after hitting into it softly when she backed up. "You know what I don't care. I don't care about any of this. I'm gonna go home and forget about this. I'm done, I'm fucking done." She quickly pushed herself off the wall and walked towards the door. "You can run, but I'm still dead and you aren't insane! That sounded stupid. Sorry for upsetting you." Kurt didn't try and stop her. She wasn't his responsibility.
Slushie, JD’s ghost hamster that had been chilling in the library for the past couple days, dived in between two books that were propped against one another. Letting out a squeak as he landed and scurried his little feet to try and push his round blue butt through the space in between the books. Lilith heard a small squeak and looked around. She shook her head. "I- this was a mistake. I'm- I'm sorry." Lilith had no die why she was apologizing. She quickly turned on her heel and quickly made her way out of the library.
Heather who had been unusually quiet throughout the whole ordeal finally spoke up. "Wait!" she called out. "Believe me or don't believe me. But tell your mom that I'm counting on her, okay?" What was she talking about? "Fuck off." Lilith called back as she made her way down the hallway. Kurt wasn't quite sure why he had thought this would be a good idea. Clearly it wasn't. And JD was gonna kick his ass to hell, but oh well. He just sorta stood there.
Heather wasn’t going to let Lilith leave so quickly though.
"No!" The lights in the hallway Lilith were walking through flickered. "You don't get to just leave.” Lilith skidded to a stop as she looked up at the lights. Her breathing started to get heavier and uneven. Kurt made his way into the hallway and crossed his arms. "Yes she does, Heather. Chill." "Or what?" Heather floated to Lilith's side, stroking her back gently. "Your mom made a deal with me," she whispered in her ear, "and if she's not going to come through, then you're just going to have to suffer the consequences." Kurt popped over to them, even though it was entirely unnecessary, and pulled Heather away by the wrist. "Jesus fuck, Heather, let her leave! She's not gonna do anything if you threaten her, she already thinks she's going insane! Just leave her alone." Lilith stayed silent as she watched the two ghosts in front of her. She couldn't say anything and if she could she would have idea what to say.
"You will tell your mother to make good on her promise." she commanded. "Or else." "You don't get to threaten me or my mom you stupid bitch." Lilith had no idea where the surge of confidence came from but she was going with it. It was the only confidence she has had in the last week. "Can y'all maybe chill? Please? Heather stop being a bitch to the kid. L, just go home." Kurt sighed as he watched the girls in front of him. "I do!" Heather shouted back at her, ignoring the pain of straining her weak, damaged vocal chords and also ignoring Kurt. "She    ▩▩▩▩▩▩ ▩▩!" Once again, whatever force that kept the ghosts tied to Westerburg censored Heather's attempts at exposing her killer. She slapped her hands over her mouth and tried (and failed) not to cry.
Lilith's confidence drained from her and was replaced by confusion. "Why is she crying?" She asked quietly to Kurt. "After all your mother put me through," Heather wheezed, "you could at least expect her to do one thing for me. Just one thing." Kurt sighed and answer Lilith's question. "Because of frustration that we can't straight up say that ---- --- went and killed us." The words were fine except for the two words that came out like mangled garbage. "See?"Kurt crossed her arms. Lilith sighed and shook her head. "I guess thank you for meeting up with me Kurt. I'm sure this will never happen again." She nodded her head and she turned again, starting to walk away again. Her hand ran through her hair nervously. "Tell her," she called out. "Tell her I'm expecting her to follow through." Then she fell into an aggressive coughing fit. Kurt waved at Lilith's retreating form. "Bye, L! See you around!" He then turned to Heather, awkwardly patting her on the back. He didn't want to get bitchslapped right now. Heather piped in before Lilith could get too far away. "You know, why don't you take the scenic route? Maybe going by the football field will give you some deja vu." "Deja vu? Uh alright?" Lilith said confused as she turned yet again and made her way out of the school and towards the football field. She had no idea why she was going but now for some reason she couldn't stop. It was like her body wanted to be at the football field.
Kurt popped over and kicked the football field. "Wake up you stupid fuck!" Then he left. Heather sort of just left. She took a deep breath as she squeezed through the gate and walked onto the football field. It smelled like cigarettes and gun smoke. A light smog covered the field and she jumped when Kurt appeared suddenly but was soon gone. "This is a weird ass town." She got to the middle of the field and looked around. "Hello? After no answer she sighed. "JD? Are you here? You have to be. Fucking show yourself you coward. You liar, you fucking liar!" Lilith snapped as she yelled at nothing. "Where are you, you absolute douchebag!? Are you the reason Danny won't wake up?! You're that sick and emended that you had to hurt an innocent kid! You had to hurt more innocent kids!" Lilith scream as tears pricked her eyes. "Was this a whole scheme to fuck me over?! To get me to trust you and you stab me right through the back by hurting him?! SHOW YOURSELF AND FUCKING TELL ME!"
JD locked down in slumber, surrounded by darkness that came with limbo started to twitch. Damn who was making so much noise.
After a few moments of silence Lilith screamed out in frustration. "FUCKING COWARD. I TRUSTED YOU. MY MOM TRUSTED YOU. YOU FUCKING STABBED US RIGHT IN THE BACK. WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS WHAT DID WE DO?! I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU AND YOU THEN OUT TO BE A FUCKING GHOST. I TRUSTED YOU. WHAT WERE YOU JUST GOING TO STRING ME ALONG AND TRY TO KILL ME LIKE HE TRIED TO DO?!" Lilith screamed, she could feel her voice already getting raspy.
Kurt chilled a good distance away. Fuck you, Jason Dick.
JD started to stir, who the hell was yelling so much. And why were they saying his name. "-USTED YOU. MY M-M TR-ED YOU." What the heck was going on. JD started to pull out of his slumber. He didn't think he would come back this soon, didn't think he would come back ever. But as he reached his senses out to the world of the living he could sense it. Lilith 'Shit! Shit' he started to force himself away. Returning from limbo. Black smoke starting to lightly pool out of the football field. 'FUCK! FUCK! I swear if Kurt fucking told her he is going to wish he was slumbering away. "WHAT? WERE YOU JUST GOING TO" 'No! No!' He wasn't just going to do anything to her. She was apart of Veronica. He wanted to stay with them. Not drive them away. He wanted to destroy every fucking asshole who ever hurt them. But they wouldn't let him do that. "TRY TO KILL ME LIKE HE TRIED TO DO?!" 'WHO TRIED TO WHAT!!!' At Lilith's last proclamation JD fully burst from the ground. Dark thick smoke covering the football field. Spread out, layering the field in about a foot thick coat of ash and smoke.
Kurt promptly fucked off as far away from the field as possible. Not today, Satan. Not today.
Lilith screamed in fear as the smoke covered the field, quickly. She fell back and started to crawl back as fast as she could. "Oh god." She was going to die. She didn't get to say goodbye to Danny or her mom or to any of the people she meet while she was living here. She scurried back trying to outrun the smoke but she wasn't fast enough and soon it was all around her. JD quickly pulled himself back together. Gathering the smoke back into his more condensed form. The thick smoke pooling together, his body reforming with in. He moved one foot, then the next. Once getting used to "walking" again he stretched his arms out. Palms facing outwards and tilted downward. "Nonono. Lilith please don't be scared. Don't be scared I swear I'm not going to hurt you." He tried to talk as soft and calmly as he could. "I'm... I'm just here. Ok. You.. you were calling out so I came." He used his right hand to gesture to himself "I swear I'm the same person you've talked to in the past... I just look a little different."
"You're fucking dead! I should have listened to Kurt the first time he said it." Lilith said quietly as stood up and keep walking backwards. She couldn't trust him, not anymore. She couldn't let him near her or her mom anymore. "Kurt! He.. that conniving little son of a...." JD ran his hand through his hair trying to calm down. "Nope. Nope. I'll deal with him later he isn't important right now." JD tried to get closer to Lilith "Please Lil I swear I'm the same person you talked to before. Please! I'm the same person that hasn't changed! The state of my existence doesn't change any of that! I'm still the person you go to get slushies with. And the person who has hung out with you while your mom has been out." He was freaking out on the inside. This can't happen. This can't. Not now. He was doing so good. He thought it would get better. He thought leaving would make everyone happy. "Please, Veronica doesn't let this change how she has handled me."
"My mom knew! Oh my god." Lilith ran both her hands through her hair. "I- I can't. Not again- not fucking again." She muttered to herself and a thought came to mind. "Did you hurt him?" Lilith asked venom and fear seeping in her voice. He rippled back in shock "Hurt who? I don't know who you are talking about?" He took another step forward. 'Shit can she see me see me.' He glanced down at his ruined body. Parts fading in and out of existence, blood occasionally dripping down. Lilith widened her eyes as she noticed how JD looked, she felt like she was going to faint. "Danny. Did you hurt him?" She tried to look away from him but like a terrible car accident she couldn't look away. "Danny?" JD shock his head. "No. No. I didn't." 'Fuck what happened to Danny? I disappear for three days and the world goes to hell' noticing the horror in her eyes JD tried to drag his smoke in closer. Trying to conceal his true form the best he could. "I don't even really know the kid why would I hurt him?" "I don't know! You hurt innocent people already so why not hurt more?!" Lilith exclaimed holding her arms out to the side, her voice cracked as tears pricked her eyes once again. "What all do you even know about me?! Some stuff you've read on the internet from a group of kids!? Who know jack shit about what happened. And if I was really going to hurt another person do you think your mother would let me around you?"
The air started to smell heavily of cigarette smoke.
"You seem like the manipulative type. Get my mom to trust you, get me to trust you. Get everyone to, even a small bit, trust you and go under the radar when someone accidentally gets hurt. You're psychotic." Lilith dropped her arms as she kept eye contact with JD. JD phased. Slipping in and out like static. "Lilith I promise everything I do I do for you and your mother. I lost Veronica once. I'm not going to lose her again! I haven't even done anything! Ever since Veronica came back I've been trying to do better! So why? Why are you acting like I just killed someone!? Why do you hate me so much when not a week ago you were perfectly fine with me?! Veronica knows I'm like this!! She has seen me like this!! Heck she is willing to work with Kurt the rapist and Heather the bitch! So if she is willing to try and work with us why won't you?" JD's hands were clenched. A pain burning in his chest. Yes he killed and he would do it again. But Veronica didn't want him to and if he did he would lose her. So he would work not to. Besides no one had given him reason to anyway. He would be damn if that blackmailing bitch Heather would be able to be redeemed in Veronica's eyes but not him. Not when he had been trying and all Heather has done is complain. "My mom must be insane if she's working with ghosts! She must also be psychotic if she knew you were a ghost and let me fucking near you!" Lilith couldn't deal with any more ghosts. "Just stay away from me, and my mom, and everyone." Her voice was quiet as she looked down at the ground. "You should've burned in hell."
"Why do you hate me so much??!! I haven't done anything against you!! And do not talk about your mother like that young lady!!! She has done everything she can to try and keep you safe!" JDs voice swelled in anger, hurt and confusion. His voice commanding as he reprimanded Lilith for talking ill about her mother. Lilith took a step back in fear. She was quiet as she just looked at JD. Her hand instinctively went up and traced the scar on her left cheek. "Lilith. Please. You can hate me forever. You can never speak to me again and wish for me to burn in hell. But please. Just tell me why you hate me."  He almost felt like collapsing. He had been out of a physical state for a while. And this was far from comfortable. He just wanted to sleep. But how could he. When Lilith hated him and he didn't know why.
Lilith actually didn't really have a reason to hate him. Was she just overreacting? "Danny. He's hurt and the only person I can think of who would hurt someone like this in this town is you."
"I've never even met Danny, and I never hurt someone without an actual reason. Granted they weren't the best. But I don't know the kid, and I don't even know what's wrong with him." JD tried to defend himself as he spoke to Lilith. "Then what happened to him?" Lilith sounded desperate, she wanted an answer but she knew JD couldn't give her it. He didn't know Danny, why would he hurt him? She sighed as she looked down at the ground. JD slow walked over to Lilith. Standing in front of her he slowly placed one hand on her shoulder. Granted it wasn't tangible, but it was more for the habit of the motion. "Well, what do you know happened to him? How is he hurt? Broken bone? Cuts? What?" Lilith flinched at the touch but didn't move away. "He's in a coma JD. A coma." Tears fell from her eyes as she looked up at him. She noticed how JD looked similar to Danny and that made even more tears fall.
"A coma... what happened?" Shit now he was making her cry. Couldn't he do anything right. “I don't know. He was on his bike and the doctors say he just passed out. He wasn't drunk, he had his helmet on, he didn't even hit anyone. And he just won't wake up." Lilith couldn't stop herself from crying, god she was a mess. Shit. Man this town really did seem to fall apart. Lilith was standing there crying and here he was less than a foot away standing there. It felt awkward. Back when Veronica used to cry he would hold her, but this is different. But still he wouldn't just stand there. Taking a gamble JD wrapped his arms around Lilith and slowly pulled to two of them together. Even dead he was still tall. Towering over the smaller girl who only came up to his chest. He pulled his smoke back. Trying to keep the young girl from breathing any of it in and concentrated to hold his form together. "Lilith I'm so sorry. I'm sure he will wake up." Lilith didn't even do anything to get out of the hug. She just continued to cry as JD hugged her. "The doctors have no idea when he'll wake up. I've been visiting him, he has a younger brother. I can't watch that little boy lose his older brother. I can't watch Danny's mother lose him." She held onto JD tightly somehow, weird ghost shit. "Lil, do you want to go sit down. Standing in the middle of a football field probably isn't the best place. Umm.." he thought for a moment "ah! I have a friend of mine I want you to met! I think it might cheer you up! Trust me you'll love him!" Lilith was still cautious of JD. "Who is it?" She asked quietly as she wiped away the tears from her eyes. “Um... it's kinda a surprise. But I swear he won't do anything wrong. Mer has met him and actually really likes him! Veronica thought he was pretty cute! He is just up at the school. It will take me like two seconds to grab him real quick. I left him in the library." Lilith furrowed her eyebrows. "Uh okay?" Maybe she'd be able to run when he leaves. Get to her house and tell her mom that she knows everything. "Ok!" JD had a huge grin on his face "just wait right here! I'll be back before you can count to 10!" He quickly speed off to the school twisting as he made his way to the building.
Lilith looked around and started to walk backwards, not running just yet ready to do it.
JD quickly twisted into the school. Zooming into the library and quickly picking up the small little blue hamster that was laying between two books. "Gotcha!" He quickly turned around zooming back through the halls and through the door. "Don't think I'm not coming back for you Kurt!" He twisted through the air as he headed back to the football field. JD landed back on the grass, reforming his body as he touched the ground. Slushie gripped in his hands. He looked up the find Lilith several feet away from where they had been standing before. His face fell. "You were trying to leave weren't you?"
Lilith looked over quickly and swallowed nervously. "I- no. No, why would I do that?" She asked trying to sound like she wasn't actually trying to leave. She should've ran.
Kurt groaned. This was fine. Totally fine.
"Heh" JD let out a small laugh. "Should have figured. It's not like you suddenly wouldn't hate me any more." He held out his arms. "Anyway. This is Slushie. Thought you might like to meet him." He lifted his left hands to reveal the small blue body of the hamster. His nose twitching Slushie stood up on his hindquarters and sniffed around. Lilith gave a confused look to JD. "Slushie?" She took a hesitant step forward. "I'm guessing he's a ghost too." "Um.. yea. He is my hamster. Was my hamster. Back when I was alive. He died not too long after I did." Slushie turned to Lilith. His little eyes looking up at the girl. He let out a little squeak. "My dad wasn't the best. Really neglectful. Never thought a hamster could come back as a ghost, but one day there he was. Crawling around on my chest. I really like slushies. So when I got him I named him Slushie. It's a pretty lame name but I was 16 at the time." JD nervously rubbed the back of his head. “To be honest I'd probably do that." Lilith put her hands into the pockets of her coat. "Uh he's really cute... for a ghost hamster."
Kurt was trying and failing to knock himself out by hitting his head on a desk. Fuck this.
"Um.. yea. He is a Teddy Bear Hamster. They are pretty fuzzy. Ironically he is pretty fat. Considering how he died." He stretched his arm out and expanded the smoke allowing Slushie to move along it. "You can hold him if you want. Oddly enough he can touch people. Or I guess people can touch him." Lilith hesitantly held her hand out to allow Slushie to climb on her hand. She was still freaking out on the inside but she found it best not to show it now.
Slushie moved his small little body onto Lilith hand. His little feet moving over her palm. His nose traced along her hand as he sniffed her. His swishers brushing from side to side.
"If you don't want to hold him you don't have to... Mer and some of the others liked him. So I thought maybe he might make you smile." JD glanced at the ground then back at Lilith. "Look if you want I'll go away again. I wasn't really planning on coming back. But if you really want me out of your life. I'll go. You'll never hear from me again." 'Well not me me at least.' Lilith cupped her hands and looked at Slushie with soft eyes. He was really cute. She looked up as JD finished talking. "Look I just can't deal with this ghost bullshit anymore. Not anymore." JD gave Lilith a confused look. Had the others been messing with her? "What do you mean anymore? Have Kurt and Heather been giving you a hard time. I swear those two they can't ever just leave people alone and shut their-" "No. Not them." Lilith cut him off. "Well I mean Heather has been sort of a bitch but I guess she's always like that. Look forget I said anything." "No. Lilith. You can't just ignore this. What are you...." realization dawned upon JD "you've dealt with something in New York haven't you? Did something try to hurt you?" Lilith looked back down at Slushie and sighed. "It's nothing. Done and dealt with."
"You don't seem done with it. Not if it's still affecting you. Does your mom know?"
Lilith laughed dryly as she gently petted Slushie. "I thought if I told her she'd think I was crazy." "Heh. Trust me. After everything your mom has seen she would not find you crazy. If it's still bothering you you need to talk to her about it. Talk to someone about it..." JD watched as Slushie leaned into the petting. Letting out little squeaks of content. "look I'll go. I won't bother you unless I find it absolutely necessary. As for your mom. I can't promise anything. It's up to Veronica. But I'm not alone here. Heather is kinda a bitch and has already threatened to hurt you if your mother doesn't do what she wants. If Heather does come after you I am going to interfere. You can hate me all you want, but I'm not going to let you get hurt." Lilith was silent for a couple moments. "Why is my mom roped into all of this? Sure she was friends with Heather and all of them in high school but why is she in all of this?" She asked as she looked back at JD. "We... your mother.... your mother and I were dating at the time that this all went down. Heather, Kurt, Ram they all hurt her, they made her and others cry and I killed them for it. Your mother did not agree with my methods and we ended up fighting. I killed myself shortly after." Well it wasn't exactly a lie. JD looked Lilith dead on as he spoke. Not backing down as he admitted what he did to her. "I made each of the deaths looks like a suicide. Added some irony into it. Heather, who was all about possession and titles lost all her things and while becoming famous in the school, lost her position of power. Kurt and Ram, who bullied and picked on people and tried to rape your mother where made out to be gay lovers. The two where homophobic so I thought it was poetic justice. The two sexy crazed homophobic jocks dying and being remembered as gay lovers. Your mother was far from pleased when she realized what I had done." Jd sighed as she looked around. "And now here we are." JD gestured around them. “Nearly three decades later and all of us are still stuck in this hell hole. Imagine my surprise when instead of Fire or icy plains I came to on the football field. That was a shock."
Lilith almost dropped Slushie at JD’s confession but luckily didn't. "You killed three people and my mom knew? She knew and it didn't turn you into the cops." Her eyes were wide as she looked at him. "Nonono!" JD gestured widely "there was no point I was dead!" He paused. "I mean what would have been the point! The killer was dead so why tell. Let the town go on a use the deaths as a lesson, they became lessons to the school, heck Kurt and Ram's death helped this town open up more to being gay! In Sherwood Ohio!" "Not that. Not that that makes it ok." He hit his head with his hand. "They were still bad! But your mom didn't do anything wrong. I did. It was all me!" "Awesome. The first person, thing, ghost i don't know, I became friends with is a murderer. And I found that out today. That's great, so great." Lilith said nervously as she petted Slushie again. “Look I'm far from perfect. I Don't exactly regret what I did to them yet. I regret that I hurt your mom. But Heather, Kurt, and Ram. They were the kind of people who drove others to kill themselves. The assholes you made the world hard for decent people they..." JD stopped and took a breath "look I could go all day into why I did what I did. But I know Veronica doesn't agree with my point of view and that you won't either. But I'm trying to earn back your mother's trust. To prove to her I can be better. If you'd let me. I'd like to prove that to you too. However I can. Whatever I have to do for you to start to trust me again. And I did want to tell you. Kurt telling you is far from what I wanted." "You fucking killed people. My mom- how could she even start to trust you again? You killed people, you shouldn't have died you should have rotted in jail." Lilith looked at him with a hopeless expression. "It's been 28 years I have been stuck here, with the people I hate the most don't you think that's prison by itself." He said exhausted, gesturing up to the school. "Besides I wouldn't have been in there long. I would have gone on death row soon enough. I may have been legally a kid, but they would have tried me as an adult. But I guess it's pointless explaining it to you. Just." He gestured with his hands facing his palms to the side facing inward. His arms bent as he spoke. "Think about this. It's been 28 years. I am dead," he pointed to himself "I don't leave behind evidence and I can't be punished." He counted off on his fingers "If I was still the same as I was back then then why haven't I killed anyone else? Why haven't I killed DJ or Laura, who are like clones of the morons from when I was a student here?" He pointed to the ground "I have the perfect ability to get away with it. Yet since that day in 89 I haven't killed anyone."
Lilith sighed as she placed Slushie on her shoulder. "Everyone has a breaking point. You'll snap one day or another and kill another person. History always repeats itself." She laughed softly as she ran her hand through her. "You'll kill again. You can deny it all you want but one day you will and my mom and Stella and Meridel and everyone will have seen it coming. But you're right you will get away with it and just like Heather, Kurt and Ram their deaths will go unavenged.  That's why they're here still right? Because you didn't get the punishment you really deserved? Because you offed yourself before anyone could figure out the truth." Lilith sighed once more before moving and sitting down on the ground. JD glared down at Lilith. Frustrated with her. "I'm not here because of that! I'm here because if your mother.” Lilith laughed dryly again. "What because you still love her? You think you can get her back, be back in her life. Have the life you always wanted together." Lilith leaned back and laid on the ground looking up at the sky as she spoke. "Fuck no!" JD started to pace "I lost that life a long time ago. I'm here because all throughout my shitty life. Through my mother killing herself, to my pops drinking and beatings, from always being on the move. Through all of that Veronica was the only good thing to come into my life. Out of all those schools I went through she was the only person who ever gave a shit!! And I hurt her! I took the best thing in my life and hurt her!" JD turned to Lilith. "I took the only thing in life that made me feel alive and I hurt it. Instead of protecting her like I should've I only damaged her! That's why I am here. Because I damaged Veronica and I have to make sure nothing ever does that again. Because after what I did to her I have to make sure she has a good life, that nothing hurts her! That is why I am stuck on this planet. That is why I'm stuck in this town. And that is why I am right here, right now!!! Not because I want to kill more people, not because I need punishment. I'm here because your mother has to have a good life. Because if she doesn't then I will never be able to let myself rest and move on to hell." Lilith sat up and looked down at her lap. "Look, you seem very passionate but I can't believe anything you say. I know I probably sound like a dumb bitch but I've already heard those things before. Sure they were in a different context but same difference." Lilith sighed as she ran her hand through her hair. "History always repeats itself." She muttered to herself. "Look. I know I'm not gonna convince you of anything. So" he leaned over and picked up Slushie "I'm going to go. Why don't you go see that Danny kid. All alone in the hospital the kid probably needs someone to visit". With that JD turned invisible no longer allowing Lilith to see him. Dissolving back into smoke he flew over the field and threw the stands. He had a host to find.
Lilith took a deep breath before standing up. She brushed off her clothes and made her way back to her car. She just wanted to go and see Danny. He was the only person in this godforsaken town she could trust anymore.
