This sounds silly, but oh my gosh— this blog just makes me feel so much whenever I see a new post from here in my dash. I didn’t think it was possible to feel that specific kind of emotion before. Like… on one hand, it makes me really really sad, that there was a time on the internet when we didn’t have to worry about AI scraping and reverse image searches and could just post our silly little everyday pics. That was before my time, but I wish that I could still do that now.

On the other hand, this makes me also feel incredibly touched. I love this so much because it’s just small glimpses of people’s lives, shown through a medium that no longer exists (I don’t think people still post this kind of content often or have the platform for it?). It’s the view someone thought was pretty on a day when I was two years old and I will never meet this person and maybe they’ve passed away and maybe they no longer think of that view or maybe they dream of it but either way, here I am, staring at the snow on the glass and like… fuck.

Beauty is eternal, of course, but the most wealthy in societies across history have tried to leave great monuments for us to remember them by. But I’ve never looked at those old statues of great and felt this way about them. I see the slaves who built them and the emperors who were forced into marriages and died young. (Though there can be beauty there, too, sometimes — not all artefacts or rulers created equal, of course.) But these pictures… they weren’t taken with that intent. They were uploaded to be shared, sure, but the contents of them — rainbows, teddy bears, pets. People sharing what they love with us, who they will never know, and we who will never know them.

That just makes me so oddly emotional for some reason. I do follow a religion but I also feel very deeply about Earth and civilisations and humanity, about what we put into the world and what we leave behind when we’re gone. And this blog, for me, is a literal time capsule of why I cry to be human, sometimes — because love never ends, does it? Someone loves something enough to take a picture of it, because it touches their heart. You love these pictures enough to start this blog, because they touch your heart too. I see them on my dash and they touch my heart too. Years or identities don’t matter, but the love has stayed. Been built on, even. Is there anything more beautiful than that?

I’m literally crying all over again, so basically — what I wanted to say is that I think this is a really cool blog, op, and thank you for sharing these photos with us <3

This was my first op of the con and I was determined to get my hug pose. It was also my birthday, which I told Jensen when I walked up to him. He had that huge smile on his face, exactly the one you see on the pic, when his entire face lit up before he said “OHMYGODHAPPYBIRTHDAY” in like one go. It ended up being my least favorite op of the weekend, but it does say a lot about the quality when I don’t even hate myself on this, I just wish my face was different (which is a whole other issue 😂). I also walked off with a huge heart and so much love for this dude being the kindest guy I’ve ever met (and honestly? At this point, I have met A LOT). Anyway peep the Destiel flannel and the Angel Cas tee by @sailorsally 🫶🏻

For this OP we were told they weren’t doing poses unless it was really quick, so I shoot my shot: I walked up to them and asked “could you guys adopt me for like, half a second here and pretend that I’m your kid?” Danneel absolutely bursted out laughing and Jensen had that huge smile on his face before telling me “of COURSE we will” before we went in quick for a pose. I love this one, I’m gonna frame it and pretend they’re my host family from far away or something.

This was my first pic on Sunday. I wanted something a little different and I really liked my outfit. Based on my autos I had with Danneel the day before and the panel she had with J, I knew she was a very attentive and kind-hearted person, so I just walked up to her and asked if we could just hold hands. She recognized me from the day before and immediately went “of course let’s do that!” Now, most celebs, once the photog is done, go into next next next mode; not Danneel. She waited for me to turn and say goodbye before releasing my hand from hers, and not before squeezing it so tight it felt like a hug 🥹 Anyway I love her, she’s a goddess, please bring her to more cons so she can feel even more love.

Idk what to say about this one, apart from the (very visible imo) fact that Jensen was absolutely delighted when I said “you go in the middle this time, we’re gonna bear hug you”. Ruthie’s so vibrant and I’m just happy to be around. A witch, a hunter and little old chaoticdean. ❤️

What to say except that this is my favorite con pic ever? I asked if I could perch on his shoulder and he could act like my bodyguard. I had no idea what face he was making until I picked up the photo from the desk two hours afterwards. That’s Dean. That’s Dean being my bodyguard. So from here on out, every hate I ever get? You’ll have to go through him first. And something tells me he’s not gonna let it slide. ❤️

German Vikings Con🫶🏼

I wasn’t going to post these here because I don’t like how I look but I just love these pictures too much🥹❤️ Not only I was lucky enough to see Alex again, but I also met Jordan and he was the sweetest🥰

I first met Jordan for his autograph. I took my favourite pic of Ubbe so he could sign it and he was so sweet and nice to me! His smile was amazing😭 he asked me if he’d see me again and I said yes, so when I came to his photo op he was like “hello love! I was missing you” and I nearly cried (hence my face in the pic, because he hugged me and I was freaking out). I saw him a few times during the convention, and he was always smiling and being absolutely perfect and I just love him even more now❤️

(I’ll leave this pic here even though the quality is terrible because I want you guys to appreciate his smile🥲)

Alex was, as always, the main character of the story of my life. He recognised me (the memory that man has) and he gave me an amazing hug during the photo op. He always had a smile for me🫶🏼 the pic with him is absolutely perfect even though my face kind of ruins it but I don’t really care! During the Meet&Greet he was so close and open with us! And he talks a lot🥹 I never thought I’d meet someone that talks as much as I do, so it’s very nice. He described himself as a siberian husky and I can’t agree more with that😭❤️ I had some gifts for him for the autograph, so I couldn’t talk that much with him bc I had some autographs for other people :( but that’s okay because I’m seeing him again very soon🫶🏼 he greeted me with a “hey gorgeous” and a soft smile, he hugged me and I made him laugh, which is like the biggest accomplishment of my entire life. He was a delight, and I can’t wait to see him again🥰

I also had the chance to talk to Alexander. He was also very nice even though we all could see he was a bit tired (he spent days giving concerts around Germany🥺). When I thanked him for coming, he gave me the biggest smile and thanked me. He’s amazing, I’ve seen him in many projects besides Vikings since I was little so it was a dream getting to talk to him!

I saw Ida too! She’s the sweetest, and so cute🥺 also Ragga, who is even more beautiful in person! And Jasper, who was very nice to me even though we didn’t have much time! I would have loved to interact with more of the guests, especially John Kavanagh because both my mum and I are huge fans of his work, but unfortunately there wasn’t much time and I had a tight budget😅

It was an exhausting but amazing day. I also got to meet people I’ve been taking to for years and that became friends to me and that was fantastic too! I loved spending an entire day surrounded by people that love the same things I do. It’s like therapy❤️ I loved every single minute of it, even the stressful parts😂 they’re always worth it.

Next week I’ll travel to Paris to see Alex again and to finally meet my beloved Marco🫶🏼 I can’t even explain how thankful and excited I am when I think about it. The convention is one day before my birthday so I also get to spend my birthday in Paris with my family (I have family in France I haven’t seen in a while bc of the pandemic💔). It’s perfect🫶🏼

If you’ve read all of this, thank you❤️ I truly hope every single person in this fandom has the chance to enjoy days like this one. We deserve it🥰 and it helps to cope with reality when life becomes too much💖

I've always been self conscious about how do I look when I smile my widest smile, don't get me wrong, I love my smile and I think it's the only cute thing about me, but I just don't like how does I look when it's wide and all my teeth are showing (both of my Jaws are prominent so it looks like all my teeth are leaving my mouth) and I always end up covering my mouth while feeling delighted

BUT since now I'm an adult who's earning her own money I decided to have an orthodontist soon

How do you think Wakatoshi, Osamu, Daichi, Kyoomi and Iwazumi would react about getting a braces?

Let’s get to your ask regarding the reader getting braces! I apologize in advance I have like zero experience with that and I have never known anyone with braces :’D

Wakatoshi-kun…. Hmmm….. to be honest I see him being supportive but also confused on his partner getting braces. BUT. He would drive his s/o to the dentist and also pick them up. Honestly the best caretaker when it comes to comforting you pain wise. I don’t know about his cooking skills, I know he can do like basic things and he would be so careful with you. Gentle giant 🥹

Samuuu… I feel like he will be an asshole about it in the beginning. Like make fun of your pain in a teasing way, take post-op braces photos for his memory album on his phone and tease you about those as well. Hot chef will make food that’s easy for you to eat while you’re healing up. Husband material <333 picks you up after your appointment and closes his restaurant earlier just for you❤️ if dinner rush is too bad, he’ll make his brother pick you up. And Atsumu would take so many pics to send it to Osamu.

Captain Daichi 🤔 Daichi would take the day off to drive and pick you up from the dentist. I even think he would wait in the waiting room for you to be done. Already has a few meals prepared that his mum suggested for you to eat. He a great boyfriend <333

Omi-kun, our germaphobe beauty 🤤 Kiyoomi would only drive and pick up if it’s absolutely necessary and if seriously no one else can take you. At home he would make sure you take your pain meds exactly on time and would scold you if you take them five minutes later than the time you’re supposed to take them. Will 70% be a teasing asshole about your situation (pain-wise, swelling wise). Willingly gets you easy-to-chew-food and would go to the pharmacy at 11 pm if it means getting you more meds because of your pain.

Iwa-chan. Man’s gonna take a whole damn week off to take care of you. Hubby material as well, no one can fight me on this. Sneakily take some pics as well, whenever you think you’re not looking. He’d so concerned about your pain levels, asks like every 1-2 hours if you’re okay.

Nonetheless, none of them would love you any less just because you have braces 🥰

Ideal Romance According to Venus

This is my first time writing an astrology post! I don't plan to do this often but I simply felt the need to get this out of my system 🤠

Venus sign may indicate how you imagine your ideal romance. How you think love should be like.

Examples:

I have a venus in scorpio (5h) friend who thinks "pick up artists", or the culture of seeing love as a game of tricks and tactics is very cringe. She thinks her ideal type of love is when she could fully trust and love in a very chill, calm type of way. She's basically the embodiment of this pic

As for my venus in gemini (11h) friend, she sent a post to the group chat about a girl finding out her absolutely perfect girlfriend actually recorded their conversations from their first meeting, just to analyse the op and make her fall in love. Her gf stopped recording after they started dating, but op doesn't know how to cope with that. My friend said, "honestly I'm fine with that as long as she stopped recording afterwards and is nice😭". She also thinks that strategies used to "chase" someone are fine, as long as they actually love the other person.

Personally (venus in Leo, 5h) I like the idea of two people who always have fun with each other, who spend time together a lot falling in love naturally. I think flirting is much better after two have already know each other well and have developed trust with another. Also, people being proud about their partners/openly being affectionate is absolutely adorable to me, but not in cases where people brag about "getting/landing" their significant other though.

i won’t share the photos of me with the 100 cast (at least not yet ...) because i want to treasure them and also revealing my face to tumblr is something i need to gain the courage to do still but here are my experiences with the cast:

- shannon kook (jordan) gives the best hugs ever. i mean it.

- my friend and i met sachin (erik jackson)for the first time on an empty stairwell while we walking up and he was walking down. he stopped for a few minutes to chat after he told us he wanted to talk since he wasn’t in a rush. he was so kind and real and probablyyy heard me whisper “oh my god he’s so hot” when we were walking awa 🙈

- shannon’s table was empty for a while when i went up, and we talked about our love for Avatar The Last Airbender, his role in the conjuring series & HE REFERRED ME TO THIS SCHOOL FOR SCREENWRITING. he also wrote that i’m “rad sauce” on the autograph and that beats anything anyone has ever called me ever.

- bob & eliza (bellamy and clarke) are two of the most open and kindest people out there and i say that honestly. the amount of crap they must deal with from some fans, but for them to still remain strong and kind and paitent even after sharing heavy news to a huge crowd is so inspiring and increased my love and respect for them even more, if possible. (and yes, i’m still freaking out that i met my two heroes for the last few years ...) (also my pic with bob was sooo awkward because i was high key freaking out but trying to stay calm and cool but it showed in the photo 😂 but i could care less tbh because i’m gonna treasure that photo forever)

- j.r. bourne (russel) did an auction and raised $7,300 for the grace rose foundation (a charity for cystic fibrosis to support people like his niece who have it, to work on meditation, therapy, creative outlet opportunities for those in hospitals) and for australia!!!!!!!!!

- chelsey reist (harper !!) walked by us so many times while we walked around the vendors and she always smiled and was so bubbly and went “hi!!” which made my friend melt cause she’s her hero

- tati (gaia) let me pet her dog when he stopped by my feet to sniff my shoes!!!!

- he’s only been in three episodes so far but lee majdoub (nelson, a leader of the children of gabriel) IS SUCH A COOL FUCKING PERSON. y’all ... he came up behind my friend and i while we were at some vendors for a fan artist and stickers. he helped my friend and i pick out stickers cause we were conflicted (“ooooh look at this harper sticker! you said you like harper, right? you should get it!” “oh man, tHEY DONT HAVE A STICKER FOR ME! oh well ... this one is amazing though!” 😂❤️) and then he did a super funny but low key awkward self timer photo with us cause there was no one else around to take it and none of us have long enough arms. AND THEN, he asked if either of us wanted an autograph and i was like “yeah! you’re super cool! the only thing on me to autograph is my book though!” (i brought my copy of the first 100 book for bob and eliza to sign) and he was like “absolutely! i wasn’t in it, but let’s do it!” but i forgot i didn’t have a pen on me but he said “you don’t have a pen? i’ll find you a pen!” and full on BOOKED it back to the vendors to find a sharpie, ran back to us and sat on the floor to sign in the back of the book “i know i’m not in the book but ... death to primes!” and my friend told him how i want to be a screenwriter and he was like “you write?! please write me a book! or write a story about nelson, there aren’t any about nelson!” (looks like i know what my next project is gonna be!) we saw him around several times after that, and every single time he was like “oh hey again, you guys!” and even from far away, we would shout “death to primes!” and he’d be like “hell yea! death to primes!” 😂😂😂 also, he talked to us about his role in the new sonic movie. go support my man lee majdoub on february 14!

- during a photo op with sachin, i was sooo nervous. but he hugged me and was like “what do you want to do?” and i was like “i’m not sure. what do you want to do?” him, mirroring my pose so we were both doing this funny awkward thing: “hmm something weird? something normal?” me: “what are you comfortable with??” him, excitedly: “I CAN PICK YOU UP !!” me: okay! and then he swooped me up and it was honestly my favorite photo out of all them. the lady taking the picture was grumpy but sachin took his time to chat and make it count even if it was supposed to be quick and that was so sweet!

- lindsey moran (raven’s actress) ran into me and my friend while we were in the empty bathroom. i didn’t even realize it was her until after though. but i was fixing my hair and i was asking my friend if i looked okay when lindsey came up beside me and said “you look BEAUTIFUL!” and i was like “omg so do you!” and then my friend was losing her mind, going “that was raven!!! she called you beautiful!” i’m all about women boosting each other’s confidence, so i’m still so excited that one of my favorite actresses did that

you guys, this really is the best cast. i shared these expiernces from Unity Days not to boast or to help feed content, but because i want to show how kind and cool and caring towards their fans and normal they are. they would be the ones to walk up to us even if they weren’t doing autographs or selfies and be the ones to start conversations. they were so nice and they treat each other like they’re family. the cast of this show really goes to show how important community is and i think that’s beautiful. people say to never meet your heroes, but i did and it only made me admire and respect them more ❤️

this weekend was so surreal and amazing. these experiences honestly don’t even feel real because i’m still in shock but damn, what a weekend. so much love for this cast!
