#2 hypeman over here, to say the least. He comes with musical talent

(HC) His village had their own traditional instruments and styles of music. It's a nice perspective when expanding territory and a sweet bonding experience trying to teach each other your respective skilled instruments

He is a busy guy but he always tries to at least stop by to wish you luck. He's great to have around if you might have forgotten anything, as he's quick to fix it/get.

Sometimes he chips in with any stage makeup you may do (lemme tell u, he'd be great at any alternative or gothic subculture makeup)

Also tries to attend a full concert but if he has to go he'll try and be back for the end. Always has a flower for you

He doesn't have a problem with fans at all. He's happy you have people that you inspire and that look up to you.

Of course he is on standby for creeps. He's quick to trip them on their ass and nobody would know what happened. Or a smack on the back of their head

Has a personal hit list for haters (stop him he's srs)

He is such a simp it's rediculous. He LOVES that you can sing

Doesn't know shit about music though, sorry. He sucks to say the least. Would probably fuck up playing a triangle

Could also be sung to sleep but he's too embarrassed to ask. Even humming works. It could knock his ass out cold

He is always following you around (from a distance) backstage. Doesn't say much, just observing. He's trying to learn some idea about how things work so he doesn't feel completely ignorant

Also hangs around during a show but WAY on the side. He stands out from the crowd though no doubt. He looks like a body guard and would probably be there for you before your actual body guards

The concept of your fans threw him WAY OFF at first. Might experience jealousy. Strangers just basically toppling you for your attention? Thinks they need a life secretly. He can handle it after shows but surprises in public makes him him a little bratty

His praise is subtle, and a little awkward. He just gives a blunt "Nice job" while avoiding eye contact. With enough awkward silence he'll tell you what he liked about it. He's really trying but he has no idea what to say if you've heard it all before. V proud of you tho

Y’all remember that Blend S meme from yesteryear? I certainly do! *sobs* This has been a pet project and a product of my love and devotion for this godforsaken series. I started this waaay back in Sept/Oct ‘18 (you know, when it was at the end of being relevant), but life got hella in the way.

The bright, poppy, presentation had a certain aesthetic appeal to it, and I thought it would be a funny lil joke at my sanity’s expense to replicate it in a completely serious way — as I do. This whole bloody thing was created from scratch…down to pixels even: painstakingly duplicated every section, alignment, spacing, font kerning, character placement, etc to match blurry-ass screenshots from the OG anime opening. If you overlay the original over mine it would only have minor differences that I had to change (i.e. ‘Sister’ to ‘Sibling’; ‘Onee-san/Imouto’ to ‘Onii-san/Otouto’). I even have the modifiable template to prove it, ahahaha!!! As for my choices…perhaps there are better characters for the slots, but I had my own rhyme and reason that humoured me so suck it; also I wanted the girls to match the guys in some cute cheeky way. Yes, I’m aware Ruri is literally an idol and would make sense for ‘Surprise’, as would Kasuka, but I loved how seemingly pure Akane and Mikado are, but have that surprise uneasy twist to their personalities. Besides, Akane upside down made me giggle~ ♡

Namie was a bitch (lol); I had to combine two screenshots because her head was cut off, and I simply had to have that expression of hers. Also, I’m actually torn that I couldn’t fit Kida in this, thus splitting the Raira trio up…I have the Raijin quad at least? uwu;;; To top it off, I wrote most of the series description, because I couldn’t find an official one to my liking. ✩Overall, god wtf is my perfectionism and propensity to make memes serious projects? ( ` ∇ ´ )✩

HOLY FUCKING SHIT

ok now that that’s out of the way

I made a lot of theories about s2 and I’m so glad to announce that they are all wrong

nothing too too bad happened to Shiro during the season, but him missing is kinda worrying. I wonder if he’s trapped in some kind of other plane of existence, like where the mental battles took place, except taking him there on a physical level as well. He was really weak after the battle against Zarkon, so he may not have been able to fight being pulled away. I hope this doesn’t fuck up our ptsd dad anymore than he already is. He was healing, I hope this wont be a setback.

also I feel like Hunk had a lot more damsel roles this season. Like he got power ups and stuff for his lion but it still seemed like he was the weakest link? Which sucks bc I love him so much. He was always needing to be rescued or helped when in a battle and he’s the team tank, he shouldn’t need all that as often as he’s gotten this season.

adjacent to that is Lance’s arc this season. We didn’t see much, but he still provided much better assistance than Hunk at this point.

I loved the cliche elevator scene and then they put a twist on it and Lance and Kieth worked together to get out of there. That’s some major character development compared to the early episodes. And the way they banter and talk to each other now? The breathless way Lance said Allura’s name when Kieth was in danger, looking to her to ask what to do? Lance being the one to tell Kieth to chill out??? I’m never gonna be over that. Any of it. Even though I’m not that big of a Klance shipper, I can still see the possibilities there.

Also! this season really makes me think that the writers are really looking at us in the fandom because of all the times Hunk said “Galra Kieth”, which is what we’ve been calling him. They easily could have said “Galraen Kieth”, or “Kieth is a Galra”, but no, they said it that way. And then when Hunk sorta mentions the purple skin. The fans tend to draw and colour Galra Kieth with purple skin even though that has not/may not happen. He’s still human, there is no known evidence that supports the idea that Kieth will just change physically because he is Galra. That is something that the fans have created.

I think they are watching us closer than most other writers and show creators.

another thing to add to that theory is the trans Pidge moment. There’s a scene where Pidge cant figure out which bathroom to use. (Kieth has no problem, and it’s not Galra text identifying the bathrooms so any theories about him understanding just bc of his heritage doesn’t work here). It’s very reminiscent of the trans bathroom issue. And the fans have been all over Pidge being trans, and it’s a big faction of our fandom. I think maybe the writers have seen that and wanted to address that as subtly as possible without attracting the unwanted attention from those anti-trans and homophobic organizations who focus on children’s television.

of course this could be all swept under by saying they had this stuff planned all along, but let me live a little here, yeah?

and Kieth saying out loud that Shiro is like a brother to him??? yes please. I’m so anti Shieth and I’m sorry but?? brothers are way better.

also Allura admitting that the paladins are her new family scREAMS

and that final moment in the Allura vs Haggar battle? that was fucking amazing. I was watching and thinking “I hope that one anti-Galra dude doesn’t swoop in and save her, she doesn’t need that. It would make it seem like Allura gets in over her head and cant handle anything. What if they gave her some hidden power-” and boom. exactly what fucking happened my dudes. Thank the gods for some motherfucking girl power from a badass poc princess. Haven’t seen that much royal awesome since Kida.

and????? king Alfor being revealed as the last red paladin??? we have 2/5 of the last paladins known now. Coran’s been theorized as the last blue paladin, but I don’t think so. Not with the way he reacted to trying to pilot Red when Kieth was in danger.

and with where Red was when they were trying to locate all the lions, I think Red was abandoned by Alfor at some point, and that’s why she gave Kieth so much trouble. Not just from being temperamental, but from betrayal.

or maybe he had no choice but to leave her behind. Like Altea was under attack and he had to protect it or something, and couldn’t get to Red before she was napped by Zarkon and was forced to flee.

just ughgughguhguhguhguhguhgugh theres so much info to delve into this season and I love it so muchhhhh
