Homestuck AU where the game never happens and the main 12 trolls all steal a spaceship and run away from alternia together simply because they all care about Karkat too much to let him be murdered because of his blood color (and also Sollux doesn’t want to be turned into a fucking battery)
Originally the idea came up as a half joke in their conversations about stealing one of the royal ships near fefs house and taking a road trip before they were all sent off alternia, but as time went on they slowly realized how fucked up their borderline dystopian society was. More importantly they realized that if they did nothing, Karkat would die.
This is a group of twelve friends. Whatever rivalry’s and spats they have don’t matter, because at the end of the day they are all FRIENDS and are never going to recover when they finally have to face the music and are forced into the rolls their caste puts them in. They are a friend group and they are held together mainly by Karkat fucking Vantas, a troll with a mutated blood color who will be culled as soon as the drones catch up to him.
So they come up with a plan to escape alternia before that can happen.
Some people are on board with the plan immediately. Kanaya, Sollux, Terezi, Gamzee, and Nepeta are pretty ride or die for the guy (and, once again, Sollux does not want to be a battery. But it’s mainly because he cares for KK). Nepeta manages to convince Equius, and Terezi convinces Vriska, as the two of them also realize that the moment they hit 8 sweeps they’ll likely be separated from all of their friends forever. Tavros decides that being with them is better than whatever he’d be forced to do as an adult. Equius builds Aradia a body and she is already getting packed for the trip, no questions asked.
Feferi is a bit more hesitant. She wants to stay and help alternia, but she knows it’s unlikely that she will be able to defeat the current Emperess. She decides to leave Alternia to escape her possible death, and to also train to become strong enough to claim the throne and change her planet. Eridan is probably the last to agree to the plan, and only because Feferi is going.
So now they’re in space. And they’re don’t really know what they’re doing or where they’re going, but they’re together and that’s all that really matters. It’s like meteorstuck except they have no end goal, no place to be. Just 12 kids who’ve fled from their dystopian home to try and learn how to heal and figure out what they want to do with the rest of their lives.
And then maybe they crash to earth and meet the kids but they could also just go on fun space adventures idk I haven’t fleshed this out that much

screenshotting for use instead of forcing them to see hella tags but as someone who has a constant background of narration around special interests going on in their head which eventually will start to run out of "canon compliant" possibilities and start experimenting with crossovers: this is why I struggled for a bit to do a coherent plotty crossover between daredevil and nbc's hannibal. this is another rambling "for me and literally two other people with my interests and way too interested in meta-compliancy" post:
basically: daredevil and nbc's hannibal have conflicting main themes in ways where they don't as easily synthesize into a new coherent theme. nbc hannibal basically amounts to: what does it take for a person to become a 'monster,' or otherwise transform into a version of themselves that would be a terrifying stranger to them previously. and it sort of frames it as... not necessarily a power fantasy, but it frames trauma as something powerfully transformative. you become a version of yourself that can survive/thrive/take control in the hell you've ended up in. you will surprise yourself what you are capable of doing when it's your only option. but at the same time, its a sort of "succumbing" to your situation.
daredevil is almost antithetical to this. matt's whole thing can kinda be summed up as "even after everything, it's still you." you can go through any amount of trauma and still be able to recognize yourself after. you can stick to your principles even when pushed to the limit and come out alive, and being able to do so is important. he IS his principles, and even though he constantly falls short of himself, his struggle is a definitive trait of his. whenever he starts to abandon his principles is always tied to him losing his sense of self.
he cannot win (in the long run) if he abandons who he is, even if it's only an internal struggle. it's especially prevalent in the comics where basically whenever he abandons his principles he has a bit of a flip-out and tries to abandon "matt murdock" entirely, and then struggles to maintain whatever new identity he takes and has a whole identity crisis/mental breakdown. his strength is his stubbornness and refusal to remain fallen from his standard of self.
so obviously, one of these themes need to bend so far it breaks when put together. put matt in range of the BAU/Hannibal's house and its the big book vs thin book meme. in part because matt's biggest struggles in his narratives are against structural violence and systems (not to mention... the smells...). "there's this one evil guy causing 90% of the problems" is again basically antithetical to matt's narratives, or are at the most just his weakest plots.
ALSO, a lot of the murders in hannibal get treated as combinations of three categories (by Hannibal, who I would say has the most Thematic Influence over the show): 1) they basically deserved it and they were better off being dead in whatever form than alive (mason, mischa's killer), 2) what the killer gained from their death was more important than their life (sorta the case of melissa, her death being the photo negative so will could understand the ripper), 3) their death was important to the killed person, they were only able to ascend or transcend something in their death (many of the ripper victims and general murder victims.)
Basically "agreeing" with Hannibal, or adopting his viewpoint, (or basically being 'seduced' by the story) requires viewing deaths in those three ways. It requires a sort of dissociation with the reality of a person dying in any practical matter. any death becomes metaphor and symbolic, and the symbol is more important than the ending of life, it transcends it. this also doesn't rock with matt's themes.
even if you go serial killer AU matt's relationship with violence, and the temptation of committing murder, is based around practicality. it's that killing would technically be the most efficient way of stopping someone from hurting other people ever again. it's how he could cut through the red tape and financial security that protects fisk or fisk's stand-in, the way they've manipulated systems of supposed justice to hurt people (and specifically innocents), and just end it for good. obv in cases where that does happen (by his hand or others) it again leans into the fact that there is no single bogeyman that can be killed to stop evil or whatever. if fisk dies, there is a replacement to that power vacuum, if matt steps into that role to try and control it, he fails miserably.
hannibal approaches the seduction of murder with: and it's actually awesome? while daredevil approaches it with: it won't actually help you, and it won't fix anything. you will only destroy yourself. both of the (shows at least) fixations on catholicism also have parallel approaches with hannibal encouraging you to become your own god and daredevil reminding you that you aren't. will is basically betrayed by his friends and community while matt is consistently supported by his.
ultimately, nbc hannibal is very metaphorical and artsy and pretentious (i say lovingly) while daredevil is like. How Would Superpowers Effect The Local Law Economy.

One problem concerning your turnabout au:
Beforan as a more peaceful less cruel predecessor to Alternia stems from Beforan Feferi ruling the place with her ideology. What is different in this AU that made this Alternia still require Kankri to hide his blood color, despite logically it's still an adult Feferi ruling the place?
(I don't actually know if I missed a post on that topic so please humor me)
i think ive thrown some ideas bout how the beforan and alternian cultures would develop in turnabout somewhere (think it was the calliope and caliborn post) but ive been thinking bout it more since then so ill try to explain it a lil better!
basics are still the same - beforus is more peaceful and alternia is violent - but feferi and meenah swap places as rulers. when it comes to meenah and her time on beforus i latched onto how in canon she really didnt want to be a ruler, she didnt like the whole responsibility of taking care of a whole ass planet. its what would have happened in the au as well, she sees the whole dumpster fire, goes "fuck this actually" and just dips on the whole queen shtick. she didnt want to do it really, at least not alone. i imagine she changed the entire core of how trolls society rolls (kinda like how feferi introduced the whole culling system), but babying every lower cast is not exactly meenahs style, so i thought about her introducing some kind of council to help her make decisions and run from her responsibilities - imagine like one representative of each blood cast to make everything fair and square. basically she bends ruling system into some kind of presidency lmfao, and since everyone has a say in how things are managed it leads to more fair society (or something i need to think bout it more but thats the gist of it)
and then we get to the topic of alternian feferi. she at first tries to mold the trollian society into her utopian dream, but due to calliopes machinations it fails, and it fails hard. no matter what she tries she just cant change how things work, and overtime she becomes more and more bitter and defeated, slowly morphing into the mindset of "well if i cant make the best of it, i WILL make the worst of it" and just totally snaps, becoming the ruthless dictator of the alternia. from this point on it pretty closely follows how things develop in canon, with adult trolls moving into space and her eventual arrival on earth (and her deal with callie)

What sort of mutations an indigoblood might have? Excluding tails & wings
Since I only answer for Aleph Null as an AU and not canon or anything else I’m guessing that’s what you mean.
Any troll can have any mutation immagenable, none are blood specific because gene mutations are essentially errors in the code that makes up your dna, just like with humans. So it’s kind of anything you can think of tiny or large. The only limit is like a biological one- like your bones can’t just become metal or anything- plus that would be really bad for you tbh. Most mutations are uh not actually all too great when it comes to survival rates anyways…at least when you haven’t evolved to be compatible with said gene mutation.
Also im kinda guessing you’re looking for “acceptable in Alternian society” more over. There are a lot of gene mutations that are acceptable especially ones highbloods can get away with the biggest factor of them though is that it needs to be seen as beneficial to keep in the gene pool. If it can lead to causing problems for your body and well being thats how the empire decides to let you live. That and the thing they have about blood mutations since blood is what their entire social structure is built up on.
Like if you are a highblood that has a psionic gene mutation and you have psionics that’s fine. Rainbow drinker gene mutation? Yeah that’s also fine. It’s when you dip into the castes above you is when it becomes not fine, fins and gills on someone who doesn’t have violet blood is pretty much a cull me on sight sign- why? Easy because the people in power are seadwellers and they don’t want their traits to belong to those blow them, that would make you equal.
