The Dark Urge thoughts (and prayers)

anyone whos been following me knows im absolutely not normal about durge and i wanna share some tidbits that are implied, but not necessarily canonised, from their story;

I already made a post about it but it seems like bhaal has a degree of control over whether they live or die. he can deny them death, if they fail the duel with orin.

bhaal can command the slayer. he forces orin to transform if you talk to her about sarevok and the scene makes it clear that its against her will.

bhaal manipulates his kin in a subtler way. in the colony you can find a letter from old durge thats apologising to his father for 'liking' gortash. you can interpret their relationship as something deeper but even if it wasnt, this reads to me as terrified and desperate.

the reason being, if you have a LI in act 2 you get the famous bondage scene. coupled up with the letter above makes me think this is a pattern. bhaal can use their feelings against them. he did it with sarevok and orin's mother, orin's mother and orin, etc... it's not as straightforward as 'if you disobey ill kill the one you love'. you will. durge will.

bhaal is testing them in act 2, he revels in chaos, sure, but in the grand scheme of things he doesn't care about isobel. even if you tell scel that you'll kill her you're told that youre too late, you ignored your urges. from durge, bhaal doesn't expect calm calculated murder, he expects blind obedience. failing to receive that his first punishment is to take away something they cherish. there are no half measures, theres no bargaining with a god.

we get so many snippets of information that this has happened before, their foster family being their first victims. theyre made to kill their support system with their own hands, with no one to blame but themselves. they are actually apologising to their father for being fond of gortash because (in my humble opinion) theyre genuinely afraid.

how many times could this have happened, how many nights durge couldve woken up covered in the blood of someone they love until they gave in, became daddys obedient puppet?

durge is groomed for murder. scel says 'you always failed to conduct yourself without me' and given who he is i dont think hes talking about table manners when he says 'conduct'. durge needs 24/7 oversight to set themselves right lest they get tempted by softer things. lest they dare to step away from bhaals grand plan.

durge do have a choice. just as shadowheart had a choice, just as wyll or astarion had a choice. its a choice only in name.

theres no ending besides refusing bhaal that their friends and LI wont die by their hands. the entire lore of bhaalspawn is that theyre meant to conquer the world in his name and slit their own throat a top the mountain of corpses. as cazador aptly put, 'theyre made to be consumed.'

you can pray to bhaal and the narrator says he won't accept [any offering] but the entire world.

durge (and bhaalspawn) do get some sort of euphoria from murder. they crave it like an addict, but bhaalspawn (on prev games) don't constantly have to grapple with these urges as durge does.

now durge is a slightly special case but not in a good way. its implied that theyre not like a regular bhaalspawn, that theyre made by bhaal directly -so to speak-. which is to say, if youre playing a drow, they are bhaals closest approximation of a drow rather than a drow flesh and blood.

thats why theyre fighting tooth and nail against these urges every step of the way, they are literally bhaal himself(in essence). the personality they develop, the person who calls themselves 'tainted' and 'wretched', the character thats making choices throughout the game, theyre the tumour.

theirs is the story of cycle of abuse cranked up to 1000 and it is in parallel to all other origin companions.

HII!!! NONO YOUR REQ IS GOOD !! I'll be using Project Sekai because someone ik is really into it, and the only rythm game I played is Piano Tiles which is invalid according to my friend's standards. (I was cracked at it btw. Now I can't find it on app store which is sad).

At first, Amethio wouldn't really notice your not-so-hidden talent, not that he didn't pay attention, but he was often too busy with his missions and really didn't think much about you being on your rotomphone.

The time Amethio noticed you playing it, you were already on [[LEVEL/SONG NAME]], a hard level that required a lot of skill to complete.

He was genuinely impressed to see how you could easily tap at the colours flying past your eyes. It never ceased to amaze him.

It wasn't long before you began to encourage Amethio to play a level.

At first, he declined the offer, prefering to focus on his mission, so you let it slide.

The second time you offered, he had no real excuse or explanation as to why he couldn't play, but he found a way to refuse.

Only after a few more attempts, did he actually attempt a level, choosing a medium skilled one to actually play.

He would've gone for a harder level if it wasn't his first time.

Surprisingly, he was better than most people when it came to their first time playing,

He probably lost at an okay stage not too early to be concidered bad, but not too late in the level that he'd be concidered cracked, and if you didn't know any better, you would've thought that he had played rythm games before.

You may or may not later see him play Project Sekai in his free time to get better, so the next time you ask, he can be better and choose the harder levels.

SLAYER

SLAYER IS HERE AND HES AMAZING

a few quick notes:

-c.s>f.s>c.s>f.s is still a thing! the timing feels a bit different from xrd, but its there! no 5K link, though, just use 5H. (EDIT: 5K does link I just suck ass)

-if you can land 6H, you can land P Pile. you can confirm 6H from any hit c.s, air hit 5K, or most of the counter moves such as It's Late, 5H, or Master's Hammer.

-Super Mappa Hunch is a FULL SCREEN WHIFF PUNISH. It is preposterously fast, as well, but you can block it after the super freeze.

-CH Mappa still links into 5K, but ONLY K Mappa. P Mappa gives you nothing on counter hit. CH Mappa > 5K/c.s > 6H > P Pile is quite good, with a lot of corner carry and easy wallstick if you're close enough. use c.s if you're in the corner.

-Pilebunker only wallsticks on normal hit at close range (unless you've done enough damage to the wall, presumably), but counter hit pilebunker will stick from seemingly anywhere so long as your opponent touches the wall (i think? i havent actually tested it but from what i saw doing the arcade mode...)

-Bloodsucking Universe increases the damage Slayer's specials do (for example, Pilebunker goes from 80 to 100 dmg.)

-Slayer gets basically nothing on any Dandy Step followup normal hit without meter, they just result in a soft knockdown so you can reset pressure.

-if you manage to get a Chipp to 100 RISC, while you have 100 meter, and then land a CH Mappa, you can do this combo. It feels weirdly difficult? Last Horizon is not cancelled into here, just linked into, but it feels kinda tight. other than that its very practical, this will be an important bnb.

-He is INSANELY SLOW. His dash is not jump-cancellable and doesnt move him very far, which makes sense given his close range damage.

-Hand Of Doom is pretty whatever, i dont think its invincible the whole way through but i havent really experimented with it much yet.

-Last Horizon hits like 6 times but all of the hits are counted as one, so it scales decently, but be careful using it as it does not break the wall.

all in all hes super super fun and i cant wait to play him against actual people

Edit as I've had some time on Floor 10 with him:

-i don't know if I'm just using it wrong, but Hand of Doom kinda sucks? I think it is invincible but it's quite hard to land (I'm not used to backdashing on wakeup in this game though so it might just take some time to get used to)

-Super Mappa Hunch does NOT suck it's a really good move. Great whiff punish, great fireball punish, though very unsafe on block obviously. It also has a clean hit for some reason? And its, like, slightly longer than round start range? Very strange

-his pressure is pretty similar to Sol's where he just kinda has to fish for counterhits using his normals, and if he uses a special move other than Master's Hammer, you can take your turn back (probably)

-Speaking of Masters Hammer: plus TWENTY FUCKING SIX??? REALLY? I get that it's like 43 frames of startup but Jesus Christ. I'd be fine with it if the hitbox wasn't so obnoxious but it seems to be the size of a small car

-I genuinely cannot understate how horrible his movement is. It is genuinely garbage. Mappa Hunch can help you get in, but JESUS he's slow. He feels kinda like Pot now, actually, given that he has to get in to apply really good pressure

-Bloodsucking Universe is maybe active for a weirdly long time? I've seen the whiff come out and then the grab lands, but that could just be rollback shenanigans

-I miss Crosswise Heel. It was a good answer to jumping over Dandy Step but now you can just jump over Dandy Step. Yes I know it needs weaknesses Slayer is super super powerful but shhhhhhh

the whole williams thing is so bizzare and i am sure absolutely nobody wins from it.

i get that alex is the objectively better driver. i get how important points or even positions are in the bigger picture of the constructors championship and finance wise, and i get that alex has a far better shot of doing better. but this leaves such a sour taste in everyone's mouth that im not sure its worth it.

if you look at the current scene on social media, its a shitshow. williams' comments sections are filled with disapproval, and people are hating both alex and logan with vigour. this is horrible moment for williams.

and what if alex gets into the points? what if he actually does deliver and bumps williams up the rankings? its not a good look anyway. people are going to say he hasnt earned it, he doesnt deserve it, and they're going to be annoyed. the f1 crowds love drama and they love it when drivers fail. they come into the race with expectations that alex is going to fail and fumble the second chance that williams has given him in the form of logan's car, and if he doesnt, then they're going to be pissed that their expectations haven't been fulfilled.

but what if alex doesnt get any points? people are going to point and laugh and they are going to turn their backs on alex and williams more than they have on friday and saturday. again, people love mocking mistakes and disappointment. worse yet, what if alex crashes again? sends it into the wall in turn 8 the same way he did in fp1? he and williams will never hear the end of it.

i cannot imagine the hit this will do to logan's confidence. he was the last driver to get resigned in 2023, but by signing him, williams have put faith in him. they have put trust in his development and his performance for 2024. the level of disrespect this is to logan is genuinely crazy. logan has done nothing but do his best and play for the team, but he has to pay for alex's mistake, and now it is another missed opportunity for him to prove himself. if you look at free practice results from the aus gp, logan and alex's times weren't even separated by a massive margin. there's a huge probability that logan is not going to get resigned for the 2025 season, and there are very few chances for him to prove himself this season. by doing this, williams is telling logan that they have no faith in him, they don't believe he'll perform when they need him to. im afraid this might be the start to the end of logan's f1 career.

what's worse is that williams has lately been the team that appealed to the fans. even if they consistently drove around in the back of the field, fans still loved them for their team dynamic and their drivers and being a small team. they need fan support, because if they dont have the best drivers or a decent cars, then they need to at least have people backing them. but this is just so cold and so un-williamslike, and is going to take a hit on the amount of support they have going forward.

at the end of the day, f1 will always be a game of money. time and time again formula 1 has proved that it cares more about profit than the careers of their drivers. teams will obviously do what will get them the most points, positions, and ultimately prize money. but unless alex pulls off a goddamn miracle in the race tomorrow, i really do not think that any of this is worth it in the end.

finished the teal mask and oh boy do i have thoughts…

(SPOILERS FOR THE NEW DLC IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS PLS DO NOT READ)

god. kieran. kieran is so refreshing from a character perspective. kieran is like the anti-hop. it kind of feels like he’s the protagonist and we’re the classic jerk rival, doesn’t it? this guy clearly has Issues and i really like that, im enjoying this sort of “why can’t i beat you” rival trope that gamefreak’s been doing lately. they nearly did it with hop but with kieran they’re really going full in. the character arc that kieran went through in this dlc was actually difficult for me to watch, seeing this poor boy destroy himself mentally. the first time i battled him for the final time i actually lost, and i was hoping that he would get to keep ogerpon because altho shes cute and i adore her, i felt so bad. but ofc thats not the way the cookie crumbles. kieran is socially awkward, he doesn’t know how to communicate, and he’s never had a true friend. then florian/juliana comes along and suddenly there’s someone who seems to genuinely enjoy hanging out with him that isn’t, yknow, related to him. but then that person that he was so eager to trust goes along and begins befriending and helping a pokemon that hes adored all your life behind his back. i relate to kieran a lot and ofc yknow the absolute maniac arc hes about to go through is probably not healthy but i rlly hope this ends up being good for him. he idolized ogerpon because of how he related to her story, not because of the actual living creature she is. i wouldnt be surprised if it turns out he doesnt value his pokemon as actual living creatures either. i could see him being like a reverse silver, as he grows colder growing to not even care about his pokemon.

on the other hand, carmine! carmine was such a delight, i was genuinely not expecting to enjoy her as much as i did. sure, she also has Issues and has probably been a negative effect on her brother, but at the end of the day she is also just a kid. she probably has no idea what shes doing, and i dont think shed ever hurt kieran. she went through a lot of growth in the dlc and i can see her trying to become a better person with the help of florian/juliana and repairing her odd relationship with kieran.

also, it seems like she kind of has to play a parental role for kieran, as its implied that their parents arent around. thats another thing that separates kieran and carmine from siblings like hop and leon (and oh my god im just realizing all the parallels between hop and leon and kieran and carmine). its implied that the galar bros had a good childhood, and hops Issues dont start until hes set off on his journey and leon is a full adult with an actual life. with the kitakami siblings, if you read between the lines you can tell that theyve had a harder time growing up. with carmines comments on tourism and how it’s negatively effected their town and give her Trust Issues, that obviously fucked them both up a little, seeing that people only valued their hometown as an attraction, and that they themselves were a part of that attraction. and of course we dont know what the issue was with their parents. also, why are they going to school in unova? (side not oh my god it is so obvious that we’re going to get bw remakes in gen 9 or a legends unova game)

kitakami is such an interesting region. obviously its tiny, it has one town and then everything else is just untamed land. i feel like something Else is going on here. or maybe its just small idk

i love ogerpon a lot i think shes adorable and i love that we got to run around with her before she joined our team and it makes the whole “ten year old catches legendary thing” feel more realistic

also why are ogerpon and the loyal three legendaries i feel like they should be mythicals them being legendary feels Wrong

anyways these were my silly thoughts on the dlc and i hope kieran turns out to be the bb leagues champion (pulling a blue) and also i dont trust briar now time to finish my pokedex and talk to legends arceus pandering i mean perrin and if i see anyone call carmine a terrible person i will trade away your ev trained competitive team ok bye

(also this scene made me emotional)

todd - fluffle puff, someones pink fluffy mlp oc who was in lesbians with chrysalis (i think thats her name, i never watched mlp). mosy notably known for the animation to pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows. also the creator is a pedophile i think

charlie - sorrow tv and his entire existence. sorrow tv was a youtuber who made videos reading out reddit videos in silly voices. there was a whole posse of youtubers who did this, and he was the most popular just bc his voice acting was rly good. i still watch him every couple months even tho he hasnt posted since 2021.

cameron - does bruno mars is gay? i think about cameron man door hand hook car door every day, so i obviously need to point to my third favourite silly trying to be serious sentence. most ppl know this from game grumps but im not linking a game grumps video on here. rumour come out!

knox - venturiantale, the youtube channel usually consisting of 4? siblings playing gmod together usually. the channel itself was ran by this guy named jordan i think? and his siblings has their own channels. i knew them best for their fnaf gmod videos and their fanmail videos. turns out they were all very christian? and the whole family was abusive and way deep into said christianity if i remember correctly, one of the siblings who left first made a video on it. the venturiantale channel hasnt posted in like 2 yrs and the slow death was kinda sad to see bc he (jordan) blamed it all on The Algorithm.

meeks - that one nagito komaeda kinnie back in Whenever it was cutting off their finger to. i guess prove that they were a nagito kinnie frfr? if u dont know danganronpa lore then nagito gets his hand cut off and replaced with junko enoshima's hand because sheeeee got... executed? i wont lie i dont remember this part of the games story sorry. but essentially that one person was like I Gotta Do That........ anyway im jk the audio was faked and nothing actually happened + the person is fine LAWL

pitts - the key of awesome's parody of tiktok by kesha called glitter puke. theres no lore to this the key of awesome is / was ? a silly little song parody channel. this video was made in 2010 and it kinda shows in some moments but other than that it holds up. just checked and the key of awesome is Not still going, it ended 6 years ago and the last video was actually rly good and genuine

keating - onma island is buried a treasure chest. ok so basically mr beast made a video talking abt a private island and he buried. a treasure chest for a viewer to find. during the video he said "on my island is buried a treasure chest" but it sounded like "onma" which this one youtuber (pinely) found rly funny. it became an inside joke with his friends (one of whom got a tattoo) which then became a lowkey meme. mr beast even tweeted it so. good lord thats a lot of links sorry there isnt a know your meme page or anything

chris - i dont have any links for this one sorry, im just gonna tell the story and u have to believe me when i say i swear it happened (its very a believable fandom story im sure you will). so back when the genshin impact was still in its fairly early days (late 2020-early 2021) the phrase "hear me out" to refer to characters n stuff started becoming popular I THINK at the same time. so people in the genshin fandom were like hear me out with increasingly more heinous shit. started with characters, then npcs, then enemies, then bosses, then weapons, the stamina bar at one point, etc. a lot of these were jokes or straight up bait but back then (maybe now too - i havent been part of the genshin fandom for a LONG time) people took bait far more often than they didnt. so it became a "genshin fandom bad" gotcha to point out That One stamina bar post.

ginny - $300 junko enoshima wig! sorry for double dipping with danganronpa it was just the first fandom i actually started like. on purpose noting fandom happenings with + a lot of shit happens in that fandom. this one cosplayer who at the time was called snowthesaltqueen / badguyincorporated started selling pre-made (and styled) junko enoshima cosplay wigs for $300. which WOULD be fair (i think? idk how cosplay commissions work) if said wig was styled well or quality at all, but what was ACTUALLY provided was a rly basic wig base and few clips with no note or no nothing, and rly flat. like on purpose. like that was "the styling". also you may recognise this cosplayer for 1) getting in trouble when they did a cosplay photoshoot (danganronpa cosplay funnily enough) in a graveyard, posing ON a gravestone. 2) KILLING SOMEONE. they were screwing around with a firearm and fake pointing it at someone and then they accidentally shot them.

i could do this forever like actually. i have SO many internet stories in my brain its actually bad.

I’m so ANGRY it’s not even funny

Like I could not bring myself to care about anything but Furina after Focalors revealed everything. I wanted everyone to die for what Furina had to go through. Fucking GOOD RIDDANCE FONTAINE. Furina could have been so much more open if those ASSHOLES didn’t shame her for being herself. FORCING HER TO PLAY UP THE DRAMA LIKE WE DONT HAVE OTHER GODS WHO ARE ALLOWED TO BE BENEVOLENT AND KIND LIKE SHE WAS.

FUCK FOCALORS ESPECIALLY. Separating herself from Furina and the game having the fucking AUDACITY to make it about her.

“Oh but that was also technically Furina she deserves praise too blah blah blah” Yeah all FOCALORS had to do was SIT AROUND in the fucking ORATRICE waiting to DIE. That is not NEARLY AS BAD. And she had 500 years to make peace with it and still had the nerve to be scared.

And just… Neuvillette didn’t do anything wrong, but I’m SO FUCKING PISSED AT HIM. I think it because he’s ascended while Furina gets nothing. I know she gets a vision in her story quest but… just… ugh….

I’m happy with how Act 5 was. I genuinely think this is probably one of the best quests in the game because I have never been this moved by any of the previous quests. Like I cried for Carrihoe but those were happy tears and I could calm down quickly after that. It might also be because it’s late and I need to sleep but just… ugh…

Furina…

The entirety of Fontaine owes you everything. Neuvillette owes you his ascension.

Furina deserves an apology. From the Traveler, from the gang, from Neuvillette especially, from FOCALORS. I know she got one, technically, that little “I’m sorry go be a human🥹🥹🥹” bullshit.

Furina’s story is so uniquely tragic, and this feels like the first time immortality is actually being used as a curse in a heavy way. At least from what I’ve seen, I’m sure there are many other great examples. But the fact that Furina was a human girl and had to lie and never make any meaningful personal bonds with anyone for 500 years. She had Neuvillette but he’s a dragon. How many years did it take before he started “trying to feel like humans did.”

How many years did Neuvillette spend in complete distain for Furina because he was a dragon serving his usurper?

How many letters did Furina send Neuvillette encouraging him to make friends because she couldn’t?

I don’t hate any of the other Fontaine characters. The Fontaine Siblings still have my heart, Navia is still one of my favorites, Clorinde and Wriothesley are so fun, and Neuvillette is one of the best characters within Genshin.

But Furina is on a whole other level. She deserves the world and so much more. The amount of therapy she needs is probably not even enough for the short lifetime she has now. The amount of deprogramming she’s gonna have to endure, as well as the people of Fontaine. As far as I know right know, the story that the people have is that Furina was tried guilty, sentenced to death, the prophecy came true immediately after, no one drowned, and then Furina just left. So while everyone knows she’s not the archon anymore, they’re also gonna have to relearn after generations of seeing Furina as their god to just seeing her as a person.

I want Furina to reach the happiness she deserves. She deserves it the most.

the sound of knocking on the door jerks atsumu awake. he stretches and yawns. his back aches because he fell asleep on the couch.

his face scrunches up.

another round of knocking comes and atsumu stands gets up to answer the door.

"did you forget your-" the words die on atsumu's tongue when he sees who's at the door.

sakusa stares at atsumu. eyes wide and red, dried tears stain sakusa's cheeks. his hair is a mess, his clothes untidy and wrinkled. his hands are balled into fists. he's not wearing a mask. atsumu can clearly see the pained look on his face.

atsumu clears his throat. "sorry, I assumed you were samu."

sakusa's eyes dart away. "can I come in?" he asks, voice softer, far gentler than usual. it makes atsumu feel weird.

atsumu opens the door further and makes room for sakusa. "yeah, of course."

normally, he's much better with being comforting and welcoming. but he did just wake up on the couch and he isn't even sure what time it is.

atsumu nervously watches while sakusa takes his shoes off, unsure of what to do. he's never seen sakusa cry, not even after a painful loss from a game.

"you don't have to stare," sakusa snaps and atsumu immediately looks the other direction. right. that was rude of him.

"I'll be on-"

"I'm sorry," sakusa hiccups. a full change in emotion. atsumu looks over and sees sakusa holding his face.

"hey, no, it's okay." atsumu reaches out to rub sakusa's back and then decides against it. "take a moment to collect yourself, I'll be on the couch, okay?"

sakusa nods.

atsumu figures it's best to give the man some space. it's a good day if sakusa shows more than a grimace. he'd never seen sakusa like this before. atsumu doesn't think anyone has.

atsumu's dozing off on the couch when sakusa sits on the other end.

sakusa wipes his cheeks with the back of his hands and atsumu offers a box of tissues. sakusa quietly thanks him. he takes a tissue but doesn't use it.

"sorry I snapped at you," he says.

"it's fine," atsumu replies.

sakusa sighs and rests his face in his hands. exhaustion seems to overtake him and deep sadness atsumu has only seen one before.

atsumu reaches out and rests a hand on sakusa's shoulder.

"why'd you come to me?" atsumu asks. genuine curiosity seeps through his words, but he's asking to get an idea of how to help sakusa, how to comfort him. he assumes sakusa won't talk about whatever is bothering him.

silence hovers around them for a while. atsumu wishes he had turned the tv back on.

"you told the team your door is always open," sakusa replies.

atsumu had told them that. he didn't think anyone would take him up on it. least of all sakusa.

"I just," sakusa starts and then stops with a frustrated groan. "I spent the day with my parents. and they- we don't-"

"hey, you dont gotta explain," atsumu says and gently squeezes sakusa's shoulder.

"I'm sorry. it's so late. I should go. I shouldn't have even bothered you-"

"kiyoomi," atsumu says firmly, holding sakusa's shoulder before he can even think to stand up. "you're staying the night. I don't want you leaving when you're all emotional like this."

sakusa takes a deep, shakey breath.

atsumu continues, voice going softer, "we can either stay like this or go to sleep. you can take my bed and I'll take the couch. I just washed my sheets earlier today, so everything is fresh and clean."

sakusa shakes his head. "can't sleep."

"okay. well, I'll make you some tea and also heat up a quick meal for us. feel free to use the tv, the remote's on the table. any other questions, just ask." atsumu stands up stretches.

sakusa frowns. eyebrows scrunched up and his mouth twisted up in disgust. a classic sakusa kiyoomi face.

atsumu walks away before sakusa can argue. he brings back a blanket while he waits for the water to boil and sets it folded up, next to sakusa. "just in case you want it," atsumu says. when he walks back with the tea, the blanket is spread across sakusa's lap.

atsumu makes them each a plate. he eats all of the food while sakusa mostly just picks at it and pushes it around.

they fall asleep watching some old reruns of a show sakusa put on.

when atsumu wakes up with sakusa in his lap, he simply pretends to be asleep until sakusa gets up and moves away.

“Put your fingers here,” Jungkook instructs, positioning one of his friend’s hands on the keyboard in a specific way. “Your other hand goes on the mouse.”

“Okay, now what?” his friend questions as they glance back and forth at their hands.

“Join a game.”

Their eyes roam the screen.

“Where’s that button?”

Jungkook chuckles before he nudges their hand off of the mouse and does it himself. The screen changes, and they wait as they are sorted into teams.

You watch the interaction from Jungkook’s doorway.

There’s an odd twist in your chest seeing Jungkook so close to them.

His hand rests on the back of the chair his friend is in, and the other rests on top of his gaming desk. He’s never offered to teach you how to play one of his silly games. Though, you guess that’s because you’re normally scolding him for playing, not asking to play with him.

Jungkook must sense your presence because he suddenly turns his head.

“Yn?” he questions, confused.

“Oh! Uh,” you stutter. You completely forgot what you were going to ask him.

“Did you need something?” he prompts when you don’t say anything else.

“Yes, but I for—”

“Jungkook, I’m about to die!” his friend interrupts. “What should I do?!”

Jungkook’s attention redirects to the monitor. He points to somewhere on the screen.

“Go here, and use that to heal yourself.”

You stand idly as you continue to watch, waiting to see if he’ll turn to you again, but it’s obvious he’s too occupied. Plus, you still can’t remember what you were going to ask so there’s no point in waiting.

You silently move away from his door and go back to your room.

You’re not sure why you’re feeling… whatever you’re feeling right now. It’s not happiness or sadness. It’s not anger or annoyance. It feels almost numbing. Like there’s so much going on in your head, but nothing at the same time that it cancels each other out. It’s unexplainable.

Needing something to occupy yourself with, you decide to reorganize your sock drawer. It doesn’t require color-sorting, but you can’t think of anything else. The act, albeit giving your hands something to do, doesn’t distract your mind enough.

You can hear Jungkook and his friend laughing next door. It’s the only noise you can focus on as you accidentally put a pair of black socks with your purple ones.

Their laughter sounds so happy. You wonder if you ever made Jungkook laugh like that. Has he ever been that happy with you? Probably not considering you were always nagging him about his late-night gaming.

Truthfully, it hasn’t been too bad since the power outage. There are a few nights where you genuinely are annoyed, but overall, it hasn’t been bothersome. Perhaps you just need an excuse to talk to him.

Three sudden raps on your open door have you jumping.

Jungkook stands with his hands in his pockets. He greets you with a small smile that you reciprocate involuntarily.

“Sorry about earlier. What did you need?” he asks.

“I don’t remember,” you reply.

Jungkook chuckles and glances down at what you’re doing. He leans down and plucks out the pair of black socks from the purples.

You mumble a “thanks” when he tosses it in the black pile.

“Alright,” he says while standing up fully. “We’re going to go grab a quick bite to eat. You wanna come?”

The emptiness in your stomach tells you that you should say yes; however, you don’t want to feel like a third wheel, so you shake your head.

Jungkook lingers in your doorway, seemingly debating on if he should ask if you’re sure, but he ends up nodding instead.

“If you say so,” he answers. “I’ll be back in a bit then.”

“Okay,” you answer and turn back to your task at hand. You haven’t made much progress, but you don’t want to have a stare-off with him.

You don’t hear him move at first. As you’re about to turn around, his friend’s voice cuts through the silence.

“I’m ready,” they say.

“Let’s go,” Jungkook replies before there are two sets of footsteps growing faint as they move away.

Once the sound of the front door closes, your shoulders sag.

It’s been nearly two months since that night the power went off.

Two months since Jungkook found out about your fear of the dark. Two months of Jungkook being less annoying. Two months of this odd feeling growing inside your chest.

You’ve noticed small habits of his that you’ve never caught onto before. It’s not that you’re seeing him differently, but you’re seeing him more. You’re discovering more layers to Jungkook, and these aforementioned layers haven’t been bad. In fact, it makes you feel closer to him.

Though not only are you uncovering more about Jungkook, you’re forming feelings you’ve never had before. For one, you get a sour taste in your mouth seeing him be too friendly with others, which was not something you felt two months before.

Once you finally finish reorganizing your socks, you shuffle to the living room and lay a blanket over your lap. Hopefully, a movie will capture your focus more than your socks.

Hours pass as you cuddle a pillow on the couch, mindlessly watching the first movie your hand had touched. It was a simple way to pass the time as it was too early to sleep, but you didn’t know what else to do.

Jungkook’s been out longer than you anticipated.

Not that you cared.

You told yourself you’d just feel more comfortable knowing he was home before you went to bed. Nothing like waking up to the sound of the door opening and not knowing if it was a robber or your roommate.

With a heavy sigh, you begin to stand to retrieve a glass of water. You’re four steps away from the couch when the lights flicker.

Once.

Twice.

Then you’re submerged in complete darkness.

Your chest tightens, and your breathing halts abruptly. Several seconds pass while you stand still. Soon, your mind begins to conjure images of supernatural creatures emerging from the darkness.

You hastily, and clumsily, make your way to your bedroom. You locate the chipmunk nightlight quickly and flip the ON switch with shaky hands.

The small room lights up, changing colors smoothly. You focus on each color as you steady your crazy heartbeat.

You don’t know how long it’s been since you’ve been sitting in the dark. It feels like hours, but it could’ve just been twenty minutes.

The sound of the door opening jolts you from your trance.

“Yn?!” Jungkook calls out, worried.

Your body instantly relaxes at his voice.

“I-in here,” you reply.

There’s hurried shuffling and a few curses accompanied by a few thuds before you see his silhouette at your door.

“How long have the lights been out? Are you okay?” he questions and walks to your bed. He sits down near you, placing a hand on your back and rubbing soothingly.

“I’m not sure,” you sigh.

“You should have called me,” he says.

At that, you realize you left your phone in the living room. Then you remember how he’s been gone for hours. Something in you turns bitter, and the power outage doesn’t feel like the main problem anymore.

“Shouldn’t you be with your friend?” you huff.

Jungkook stares at you with a mischievous glint in his eyes. His movements on your back pause.

“Even scared, you always have to sass me, huh?”

“I’m not sassing, I’m just saying,” you argue.

“Just saying,” he repeats slowly.

Suddenly, his hand is on your waist and pulling you closer. Your eyes widen, but you can’t bring yourself to pull away.

“I wanted you to come with us, you know,” he says.

“Where?” you reply, mind fuzzy with how close he is.

Jungkook chuckles. “To get food.”

“Oh,” you mumble. “I wasn’t hungry.”

“Hm. Well, I brought some home in case you got hungry. You hungry now?”

You debate on answering truthfully, but it seems your hesitation gives away your answer.

Jungkook pulls away from you and stands up. You inch closer automatically.

“Don’t worry. I didn’t plan to leave you,” Jungkook reassures as he offers a hand. You take it quickly, letting him pull you off the mattress.

You grab the night light and clutch it in one of your arms.

Jungkook gently grabs your other arm, fingers trailing down until they fit in your gasp. He guides you to the kitchen and retrieves the food.

You eat in silence, eyes dancing from Jungkook—who’s watching you—and to the food in front of you.

The silence is unsettling.

Usually, you could eat like this with Jungkook, but now the quietness forces you to hear your racing heart.

“Will you let me take you out to dinner one day?” Jungkook asks suddenly, causing you to choke on your food ungracefully.

“Oh, shit, sorry,” he says quickly and rounds the table to pat your back.

You shoo him away, grabbing your drink and taking a long sip.

Once you’re composed, you turn to him. “What did you say?”

You’re sure he knows you heard him, but you’re so stunned that you need to hear it again.

He smiles sheepishly. “Dinner? You and me.”

“L-like a d-date?” you stutter.

He nods, “Maybe…this Friday?”

Today was Wednesday. You barely had time to prepare—mentally and physically.

At seeing your shocked expression, he says, “Okay, maybe not this Friday. How about Saturday?”

“That’s not much better!” you whine. “Why the rush?!”

Jungkook laughs and glances down for a moment.

“Because I’ve liked you for a while. I’m tired of waiting,” he shrugs as if he’s not nervous, but even in the barely lit room, you can see he is.

Jungkook? Nervous?

“This isn’t a prank or something, right?” you ask. You recall his annoying gaming buddies from before and wonder if they’re behind this.

He frowns, shaking his head. “Of course not.”

Jungkook grabs your hands and lowers himself so you can see him better.

“I like you… You and your grandma ways,” he smiles teasingly.

“Shut up, Jeon,” you huff.

When you try to retract your hands, he simply holds on tighter.

“So,” he begins, “Saturday?”

“What if I don’t like you like that?”

Jungkook tries to hide his smirk. “Oh? So, you acting all jealous and clingy has nothing to do with you liking me?”

“I am not clingy!” you scoff.

“But you are jealous.”

“Shut up,” you whine again.

“I know the perfect way you can shut me up,” he hums and leans closer.

“Yeah, right,” you argue.

Jungkook doesn’t reply. He simply leans in more until his lips are on yours. There’s an oddly comforting tightening in your chest the moment his mouth touches yours.

And as if his kiss was the answer to all your problems, the lights begin to flicker on.

Jungkook pulls away slowly and glances around the apartment.

“See? True love’s kiss fixes everything,” he grins.

You ignore the pounding of your heart at the idea of Jungkook loving you.

“It’s just a coincidence.”

“That’s not a very romantic outlook,” Jungkook huffs.

“I didn’t know you were the romantic type,” you confess softly.

Jungkook smiles and tilts his head. “You’ll find out.”

“On Saturday?” you lightly tease.

His smile widens, and he pecks your lips.

“At seven,” he adds.

“At seven,” you echo with a smile of your own, excited for this weekend.

ive been bingeing survivor lately because the current season is really good (q sweep) and ngl i cant stop thinking about dunmeshi survivor. laios obvious challenge beast who keeps finding idols, not even on purpose he just likes exploring the island and stumbles upon them on accident. the kind of player who’s dogshit strategically and completely on the outs (doesnt even know theres any strategy happening) but becomes a threat due to constantly winning immunities and finding idols and being endearing so people go from thinking hes easy to take out later to desperate to get rid of him. probably a very polarizing figure for viewers, i think casual fans love him for being a nice and earnest quirky character while superfans hate him for his lack of strategic prowess. i dont see him winning but he probably gets at least a few votes if he makes it to final 3 and he gets asked back for sure because jeff loves his quirky characters.

chilchuck might be a sleeper individual immunity challenge beast (a lot of challenges are dependent on carrying your bodyweight or dexterity) and is probably also narrator of the season. every time a conversation happens it cuts to a chilchuck confessional where hes sitting on a log being like „i hate these people i want to drown myself in the ocean. i want to poison the rice.“ not quite a goat but hes probably too abrasive to win many jury votes, tho it depends on who hes sitting next to. i dont think he wins but he probably becomes a fan favorite due to his bluntness and gets asked to come back in a later season but refuses.

kabru is doing 4d chess and running laps around everybody both socially and strategically and would probably get taken to final 3 where he sweeps the jury if he didnt get weirdly focused on laios and end up alienating his alliances. kabru strong early beginning, obvious winner edit being able to run the game while keeping his threat level low midgame, to meltdown over laios literally just running around the island pretending to be a dog, and getting voted out shortly before final tribal. becomes an iconic figure comparable to the likes of angelina and is definitely asked back, but also for sure on a season where laios comes back too.

senshi has no strategy but everyone loves him for being the provider and also just a genuinely great guy. is probably making his tribe elaborate meals every day and comforting them after challenge losses. everyone loves senshi but unfortunately that makes him too big of a threat so he gets taken out during midgame but everyone is really upset about doing it, they just know they have no chance against him in final 3. it doesnt matter if senshi is left out of every vote, its senshi so the jury would vote for him anyways. after the votes are read he probably slaps his knee and goes „aww you got me good guys well played!“ without a hint of anger and everybody knows it was the right choice to vote him but they still feel awful. probably hugs everyone and gives them some words of encouragement before leaving. huge fan favorite and gets asked back on multiple seasons but is unfortunately always voted off rather early because hes simply too big of a threat. a messianic figure.

marcille probably hates the island and is only there because falin is. probably good strategically but lets be honest here she would suffer every single day shes on that island. kept in the game through sheer determination to make the merge and see falin again, but is probably voted out not long after, because her and falin are dangerous together and couples always get broken up. fierce falin advocate on ponderosa. falins strongest soldier.

falin is probably just a very strong social player. shes not the most strategic, but is probably brought into votes just due to how likeable she is. senshi also serves as a shield for her threat level, so i can see her making final 3 without having a vote cast against her. probably sweeps the jury, partly because marcille has been campaigning for her on ponderosa, partly because shes just genuinely likeable and people want her to have the money, partly because i cant think of any person potentially sitting next to her that people would rather vote for. just strategic enough that fans dont really have a problem with her win, and nowadays people are more open to social gameplay, plus shes beautiful and a great person so yeah. falin wins because everybody loves her and everybody loves her for winning. marcilles work is done.

itutsumi isnt part of the game shes just kinda hanging out on the island. nobody knows why or what shes doing there but shes laying in the sun and napping. there are probably a few votes for her at the final tribal so there needs to be a revote. you can NOT vote for izutsumi. stop booing

general notes abt their designs and what the comic would be like in my head:

>they dont have names in this version cause i think that was one of the good things they did originally. i imagine they refer to eachother as "that one" "the other guy" etc like the dhmis guys when talking about eachother.

>they are not in a defined romantic relationship with eachother because i think thats more interesting, the polyamory aspect would be kept (im not polyamorous btw so im not gonna try to write an established polycule) but its more vague in that they all kind of have a thing for eachother but also hate eachother and want to rip eachothers guts out. and theyre all roommates and bffs. if you asked them what they were the answer you would get would be "friends who are boys". they are the height of male friendship, hate, love, etc.

>instead of focusing on sexualizing them in strange ways and doing boring moe shit it would lean into the comedy aspect BUT NO MEMES OR LATE 2010S SLANG !! this was something i could not fucking stand when reading the original (if you couldnt tell by now i did used to read boyfriends. it was a regrettable time and in redesigning and overhauling them i hope to make something good out of this wasted period of my life) like even when it was current boyfriends always made memes feel.. out of place. like as soon as they said it it wasnt cool anymore. it was the unfunniest shit ever

>i wanted the characters to look less WHITE and also more distinct from eachother and also less young cause in the original its like the same twink 3 times in different haircolors and their Chad. said chad is the best character only by way of not being annoying. so yeah i'll be more specific later but none of them are white and i gave them all different eye and nose shapes and distinct physical traits and bodies etc.

>mostly i just did this cause the "nerd" and "goth" ones piss me off so bad like thats not real. thats not a nerd thats just a nondescript waify femboy with glasses. thats not a goth, thats a tiktok eboy. and i felt bad for jock being trapped in this comic. and the prep one i feel nothing towards hes the most accurate to gay preps irl because they really are that annoying. but i tried to make him a little interesting atleast. anyways

nerd - black, brony, always aggressively corrects the others when they state an incorrect fact, really into playstation eyetoy and obscure playstation games. insanely autistic. usually pissed off if hes not indulging himself in something he likes (yaoi, games, ponies, figures, etc). i just wanted to overhaul him completely to make him almost nothing like refrainbow's nerd because nerd type characters are always the ones i tend to see myself in and are my favorites but reading the webtoon that guy just pissed me off fr.

jock - 2nd gen chinese american, one of the things i liked in the original actually was when they sexualized the jock (probably cause hes the only one who doesnt look 14 in that comic) and his big tits. hes a very genuinely kind guy, not the brightest, has a voracious appetite, he also still bakes cause thats cute i think.

prep - he looks different here because i was originally going to make him white but i decided to make him a light/medium skintone black guy (he just wears a blonde wig and contacts). when companies make their pride month merchandise and advertisements this is the exact person they imagine in their head who is going to buy these products. hes a million percent one of those swifties who thinks taylor swift is secretly a lesbian. trust fund kid btw obviously. his only redeeming quality is that hes good at makeup. jokes in the comic are usually made at his expense.

goth - 1st gen latino american, specifically peruvian because i am a self serving motherfucker. hes a really big numetal fan and listens to like 2000s evil wolf amv music in addition to legitimate gothic. his face changed a little too between this and the final design. his outfit completely changed but its only because i realized everyone else was dressed for relatively warm weather so it wouldnt make sense for him to be wearing multiple layers of black. if i do cold weather outfits for them id def reuse this look for him. hes still trans but i think all of them are in my version. also they dont use labels for their sexual/rom orientation. except prep hes homosexual gay.

congratulations for reaching the end of this incomprehensible bullshit 👍 hope someone enjoys this but idrc if its just for me either

how. how would i even write out a proper fic of dramaturgy au,,

cutting this off bc i got too caught up in myself and rambled

ok umm,, dramaturgy as an au is just so character study-ish and generally character-focused,, plus the initial developments made on island are kiinda important to the cast dynamic?? so as i see it there are a few options:

A: rehash/go through the unchanged plot of island, the TDDDDI special, some eps of WT, using it to develop the Situation from other characters perspectives while maybe having one or two to emphasize noahs characterization

it gives a lot of time for character developments outside of noah himself, and time to reinforce noahs own characterization using that outside perspective,, but could potentially get boring/long-winded, since nothing different happens and its literally just Characters Having Screentime

^ maybe sub a full going-through with character vignettes and specific scenarios throughout island/the special/celeb. manhunt or after TD/eps of WT??? i guess you could also slot smth like this in with the other ideas aswell

B: begin the hypothetical fic post-jamaica challenge and leading into london, use it to exposition some minor things and generally establish characterization before getting into challenges and actual canon divergence

it doesnt drag on (as much atleast), gives you enough time with enough cast members to establish what the others think of noah and what noah thinks/how he behaves and why (probably slot in his distrust of alejandro here??), more challenges gives noah more chances (and reasons) to break character, though the character development has to be slow and conflict should probably be built up (but im kinda partial to this one ngl)

C: kindof half-baked but beginning in london (i’m imagining literally at his eel line), where hes eliminated that episode, but comes back via comeback challenge; arc kicked off by being so pissed off that he has to come back and do the Same Shit yet again (and probably because of producer-rigging. again.)

the conflict/character dynamics would move a little faster, its less to trudge through and figure out canon changes like the butterfly effect of noah staying in the game in london, but having less characters to have relationships/interactions with (but making the ones had can be more developed/rounded as a result), less Time in general, the original idea of noah ‘unmasking’ alejandro is kiiinda less impactful this late into the game?? slightly i feel like

or D: even more half-baked than C and kinda just 'possible' and feeling out of place, but you could have noahs arc happen in all-stars instead (smth smth the audience was vv dissatisfied with how he ranked in WT and so he gets brought back)

^ this is mostly bc i like the motif of noah having eel-pond related scars and seeing it as a physical reminder of where 'acting like the camera isn't there' can get him (but you could potentially fit this into the C idea, posing it more as a bitter feeling/theme rather than a motivation to continue his facade)

i dont really like this one from a storytelling standpoint, and it doesnt make much sense since theres no character motivation via unmasking alejandro since everyone already knows at this point?? idk it is there though

umm yeah thats all ive got, i guess you could also mismatch ideas like B&C so the fic starts post-jamaica but noah still gets eliminated, or have noah eliminated after london but still winning the comeback challenge and coming back swearing vengeance (within his own head mostly) or smth like that

i kinda wanted to just put this Out in the World and let it simmer before i start combing through WT to make the allotted ‘official’ canon changes of this au lol

(and not to mention theres still the issue of the actual Ending,, does he win?? is his winning both symbolic and the first genuine, intentional break of character he makes, to the audience and his peers beyond the unintentional ones hes made along the way???

smth smth character growth, hes learned how to let himself break character but now hes learning to do it intentionally too??? < im partial to that but im also biased towards noah and any hypothetical win of his

^ or does he lose?? and his ending watching the finalists parallel the island bit where he Did Not Care but now??? idk idk the longer i think the more i like the whole symbolic win thing but in terms of storytelling/the Themes, does it Work. i do like to think so

the original draft of this idea has noah not in fact winning but it also had a strangely,,,,, vindictive tone?? that might not be the word but the Themes were different and noah was more scheme-ish rather than defense mechanism-having so im thinking the ending should change as well)

the game keeps acting like the screen of all the apps is still there so im just trying to do stuff and it keeps bringing me to places im not meaning to go to ;_;

it acts like its on the bottom part though. so im just trying to press the excluse AP so i can claim it all at once and then it takes me to club. which i cant even do anything on since its coming soon

so. that was weird. i ended up just claiming them all manually since its not a lot and then closing and reopening after it proceeded to keep getting in the way

just. very weird.

sometimes i genuinely forget that things that happened in the future havent happened here so theres like no purgatory hall i dont think (which was where the angels and solomon were in the first game right?)

i didnt even mean to choose it to be like 'haha i know things that you wont understand and make no sense' i just fully forgot that they dont have that here 😭

its kind of weird though that we're impacting the past this way though. like its never happened so it shouldnt be familiar. but because we're here we change that. and i have no idea how its acting as if they already have these memories but just fragmented or like bits and pieces that give off feelings that they dont understand

i mean. the fact that we're here in the past is probably a paradox itself right? cause theyve never met us before and yet now they meet us when they first come to the devildom.

and for some reason our presence makes their self and their future self have a sort of vague connection?

so basically its treating it like the first game came first

which. it did. technically. but not timeline wise. except it also sort of did because us from that first game ends up in the past. which SHOULD be before but since we're there then we'd have to be from a time of the future which makes it confusing

and im confusing myself trying to think this through

i dont even wanna think about alternate timelines agh

anyway i was late to making this post cause i think its gone now but

the amodeus birthday bash story is just ❤️ its just very sweet and i like going along with him (and hes just so clearly having a fun time that it makes me have an even more fun time)

Could i request The Hashiras & maybe Zenitsu Agatsuma and Enmu (execpt Gyomei) With a S/O who has a Elysia Personality from Honkai Impact 3rd

(So… I’m not good at explaining her personality as well as the others so i would highly suggest researching her personality for a litgle before writing this but i’ll show some pictures of what she looks like)

Zenitsu

He dies every time he talks to you but like in a good way. You always tell him how handsome he is and for the first time, he feels genuinely loved. He can sometimes be quite negative about things so your cheerful and positive personality is really helpful for him. He gets kind of jealous sometimes because you seem to compliment/praise everyone you run into. One time Tanjiro was with you and Zenitsu and you started telling Tanjiro that you liked his earrings and how you thought he was very strong. Zenitsu looked at you with a disappointed frown on his face. Don't worry though you assured him that you didn't have any feelings for Tanjiro and only loved him.

Enmu

The way you constantly encourage and praise him does something to this man like his face is bright red every time you say something slightly encouraging to him. Most of the demons he spends his time with aren't very cheerful so it's nice to talk to someone as cheerful as you. He gets jealous a lot too. Not like Zenitsu but he still wishes you wouldn't be so friendly with everyone.

Mitsuri

Bro every time you compliment her she dies. You and her kind of have a similar personality so it makes sense that you two started dating. Sometimes she brings you to training sessions with her and you'll just be cheering her on the whole time and she can't focus on her training because she's so flustered. She loves your compliments so much omg. She's a bit insecure about how she looks but you reassuring her that she looks gorgeous is literally all she needs.

Shinobu

Loves your cheerful personality. After a long day of missions and dealing with the other Hashira coming home to you is all she needs. Your personality is so comforting to her. You praise her constantly whether it be you praising her during a training session or you praising her for making a new medicine it doesn't matter she adores it all.

Sanemi

He gets so flustered whenever you compliment him. "Sanemi is that a new scar? Wow, it makes you look so handsome dear" You told him one night when he got back from a mission. His face immediately turned red. "Yeah, whatever go to sleep it's late >:(" Gets really jealous really easily. He hates when you compliment another Hashira. He knows it's just how you are but he still can't help but get angry whenever you compliment another Hashira. Especially if it's another man. Like he saw you praising Giyuu after a training session he had. Giyuu was getting visibly flustered and when Sanemi saw that he took it the wrong way and just glared at him. Giyuu saw Sanemi and as soon as he did Giyuu interrupted your praises and said "I'm sorry Y/n. I must go"

Giyuu

You and him were complete opposites. You were extremely cheerful and you complimented everyone. You did kind of have a secretive side to you but that's the only flaw you had. And Giyuu was quiet and kind of negative. Surprisingly he liked your personality but whenever you complimented him his face immediately turns red. "Hey Giyuu has anyone ever told you that they like your eyes? I think you have the most beautiful eyes in the world.. " Giyuu wasn't used to people complimenting him he blushed and responded. "Um.. No nobody has ever told me that"

Obanai

Bro he's just gonna die on the spot. Every time you complimented him his whole face went red. "Obanai!! Your eyes are so pretty and your hair is so soft!! You're so pretty :D!!" You said while you were sitting on his lap one day. "Y/n..stop.." He couldn't even make eye contact with you his face was so flushed. He has never really had anyone encourage him or compliment him at all so it's nice to have you even if he does get flustered easily.

Tengen

Tengen thinks you are very flashy!! He doesn't really get flustered when you compliment him he already knows he's amazing so he just responds with "Thank you y/n!! You're very flashy as well!! >:D" He thinks it's very admirable how you try to be nice to everyone even if you don't really care for that person he struggles to do that himself so he asks you how you stay so calm around people you don't like.

Rengoku

Omg he loves you so much. You complementing and encouraging him makes him so happy. He thinks you're the cutest thing ever you get along great with Senjuro too. "Don't worry Senjuro, I think you'll become a fine swordsman. You just need to train a little harder you'll get it soon!!" You told Senjuro when he was feeling a bit down about his sword still not changing color. Rengoku gets flustered sometimes when you compliment him but it's not often. Normally he just gets happy when you compliment him.

Muichiro

He never had someone encourage him so much. Sometimes he gets frustrated about his memory problems and you are always there to encourage him. "Don't worry Mui it's not your fault everyone forgets things" Even if they were simple words they meant a lot to him. He didn't understand how you stayed so cheerful all the time but he loved it. It gave him hope whenever he was upset or frustrated.
