dude can you tell your friend @magnus-falafelking to shut the actual fuck up? nobody cares about his fake depression ass 12 year old “im tired” shit like bro
hi what the actual ****
I'm sorry, I don't like to cuss but this actually appalled me so much to the extent that I needed to let this out. Because what in the actual everloving-
*breathes* okay I have no idea who you are, and you probably definitely are a coward, because you didn't even have the guts to type your name. You. You are a coward. A pathetic little coward.
You do not have any idea who he is. You don't know him in real life. You don't even know his real name. Therefore, you have absolutely no ******* right to say anything about him or what he chooses to post on HIS blog. That's right. HIS BLOG. Not yours, not mine- his. If you don't like what he's saying- fine. You have the option of leaving. Under no circumstances does that give you the liberty to ANON HIS FRIEND and ask her to tell him to stop. I will not. And actually, I might just hack your account in response and block you. (yes i do know how to hack)
Secondly, now that you have already messaged me, I will tell you what I can and will do. I will tell you to shut your trap and listen up. If you send me something like this ever again, I swear to God, I will find you and I will make you pay. Magnus deserves to be happy. He is by far an amazing person and a true friend. ((ooc: he actually is, and I have no doubt the person running his account is too)) If he is going through something in his life, I will support him through and through. I will personally defend him and see to it that whoever is bothering him will meet their fate. That includes you and all those who are opposed by him. He doesn't need you anyway, and we're all there to support him.
Initially, I didn't even intend on responding to this derogatory and pathetic little message for fear that Magnus will see it and feel bad (which he shouldn't, this anon is no one of importance) but then I thought, you need to shut up and be taught a lesson. Stop being bitchy about someone else and maybe focus on your own sad, pathetic life instead? You do seem like the type to have no life imo.
I'm tired. I'm tired of weird quirky tiny ass twelve-year-olds who somehow have access to Tumblr and have absolutely no respect for the community. You, sir, have no right to be on here if it means you are going to insult and bring down other people. I will respectfully ask you to shut the hell up and ******* leave. No one cares about your edgy behavior and mean attitude, which trust me, is just horrible and downright pathetic. (ive nearly used the word pathetic 4 times by now that its actually become hilarious) sincerely, please shut up, if not for anyone but then for your own safety. I don't hold back.
I hope this answered your question. Regards,
-Samirah.
@mallory-keen-to-kill, @alex-fierro-pr-nightmare, @blitzen-imnot-that-short, @thomas-jefferson-jr, @runest0nes can we all agree on the fact that we will personally murder whoever it was if we ever find out their identity

All the odd questions of the Edgy/misc OC ask meme for Loch please.
Tumblr media
What memory would your OC rather just forget?
His one-night stand with Ash. Because Amir was right, Loch wasn't some stupid confused teenager anymore. He was a grown man who even drunk knew it was a bad idea, knew he wasn't in the right headspace to give more than that, knew he was in a rebound friend's-with-benefits thing with Alice only because he'd just got out of another relationship and questioning his sexuality and whether he was even capable of being a person in a relationship, with anyone. He knew all that, and still got drunk and did it anyway. He convinced himself they both knew what they were doing and one brief moment of pleasure would be fine, when it really cost his already spiralling mental health, and the trust and mental health of Asher. And even though they're good (mostly) now, he knows he can never take it back, and he can never change that it put Ash in that vulnerable position for someone like Finn to swoop in.
What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?
Not communicating honestly with people. Not just Ash, but really anyone. He rarely lets anyone know his actual wants and needs, I guess because growing up they didn't really matter.
How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?
I mean, depends. We know Loch has very specific lines he won't cross, but... he is still a Karaish, and all of them have a sort of built-in "the rules don't apply to me" kind of mentality lol.
What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?
Loch was supposed to AroAce which is honestly hilarious to me now. I mean, he is very much not asexual at all lmao, but he is kinda still on the aromantic spectrum. He knows he's never felt any romantic inclination towards any women, but he's not sure how that applies to men, though to be honest, he's at a point now where it doesn't really matter. If it's not Asher, it's no one. I really don't think he'd ever have actually been with someone legitimately if it weren't Ash.
What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?
His words, and absolutely lol. It comes out more when he's drunk, but even sober push him enough and his tongue turns vicious.
If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?
Absodamnlutely lmao. Mainly because we're pretty alike, but also because it reminds me of the catty banter relationships I have with my friend's IRL, or some of my old work friends. Extra yes because he's a guy I could have that kind of friendship with knowing he wouldn't be catching feelings too so I wouldn't have to worry about it lol.
Does your OC have a faceclaim? If so, who?
Noooooope. All of Gen 3 happened before I really knew of the concept of face claims lmao.
What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?
Made his parents emotionally absent af whilst still being physically present lmao. Like, there's so many specific events in his life I could point to instead, but him stepping in to parent his younger sibs is like, the root cause of most of his issues. But his parents weren't ever abusive, or even truly neglectful, and in their own way they are still loving parents. So it's kinda... complicated? Like, he loves them and can't hate them, and he feels any bitterness towards them isn't really worth addressing, and it's not like they can do anything about it now anyway. Like, it's not going to change what it did to him. It made him the person he is and that can't be undone, so why ruin that relationship now?
How does your OC behave when enraged?
He usually either gets bitchy or he lashes out, depending on the specifics.
Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?
~anxiety~. for which he currently takes meds and has been through a course of CBT.
What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?
Vulnerability. He hates feeling it, and hates showing it. So he runs from it, or twists it into something else, like anger.
What is your favorite thing about your OC?
He's a lil bitch and honestly, I ~vibe~ with it lol. Especially now he's making that petty, bitchy side of himself more public. Like, there's a lot about him that drives me fuckin insane, but his cattiness definitely isn't one of them lmao.

Ship It
1. What made you ship it?
Waugh, the first MASH episode I remember seeing was Dr. Pierce and Mr. Hyde, and the funny-turns-touching caretaking instantly set off the little shippy bulb in my brain. I love best friend ships, I love the love and affection between them, I love that they're a paired set and the support they show, and I feel like there's a really special quality to their friendship that makes them feel Very Important to each other. Plus they have great chemistry.
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
Kfksjsj low key got ahead of myself there. But the thing that keeps me hooked is how flexible they ss characters and their dynamic is. I feel like there's lots of angles you can take and lots of scenarios to explore while still keeping the characters in line with what we see in the show. I love that they're in sync 95% of the time, but those little gaps leave just enough room for drama or angst. I love that they're inveterate kinksters AND softboys who care for each other. They're just great.
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I mean there are certain common takes on both characters, especially Trapper, that make me cuckoo bananas rageful. The whole Trapper Abandoned Hawkeye and Broke His Heart thing 🔪🔪🔪 I will also die on the hill that Trapper Is Much Softer Than People Give Him Credit For and Hawkeye Is Much Stronger. Trying to think of how to phrase my gripes and opinions such that I don't come off as unnecessarily bitchy lol. But like, it is SO HARD to find stuff for these two that Works for me. I think they're more interesting and complex than they're given credit for.
Annnnd BeejHawk 🍵
Don't Ship It
1. Why don’t you ship it?
I feel like you articulated this at a deep level beautifully in your meta a few days ago lol. I mean fundamentally I am a Trapper Girl TM and TrapHawk is my One True Pairing, so this was always doomed to at best second tier "I like it fine" ship status tbh. But there's just too much friction in the relationship on screen, there's some genuine meanness and anger, they misunderstand each other at key points, and I don't see the chemistry between them. Being extremely petty and subjective for a second, I just don't like BJ as a character very much, I find him frequently mean and petty and annoying and unfunny. Hawkeye can do better.
2. What would have made you like it?
Augh. Okay, I think in a lot of BJHawk interactions that others read as shippy, I see an edgy clinginess that makes me Uncomfy. So BJ being less "repressed neurotic" and a little more ease in their relationship. Also the fundamental biggest barrier to BJHawk is BJ Loves His Wife and Child, and I don't want to like. Get rid of that aspect of his character because it's vital to him, y'know? But maybe more of Hawkeye corresponding with Peg and building up a friendship with her- it could even be comedic, where he's planning a surprise for BJ who's getting increasingly suspicious then is amused/embarrassed/fond when he figures it out, but just like a sense Hawkeye could be included in the family dynamic without being wildly unfair to Peg, or even just BJ being a little more liberated sexually such that it's easier to imagine them conducting an affair that doesn't IMMEDIATELY implode his marriage. I mean, BJ is the deuteragonist for 2/3 of the show, obviously I have thoughts on their dynamic and how it would change with a romantic or sexual element to it, but I frankly don't see Gay BJ at all, I don't see Bi BJ at all, he's sooooo heterosexual to me, so a more sexually ambiguous or chill BJ is necessary lol. Also more BJ taking care of Hawkeye, more buddy vibes and funny coziness! And like this is probably me ragging too much on BJ... IDK it's hard to say how Hawkeye would need to change, he's already trying to be a good friend given the circumstances... I mean, for my subjective ship tastes 90% of my personal turn offs come from BJ, so Hawkeye is not really the problem in this ship for me. I guess something that really bugs me about the BJHawk fic I've tried that turns me off the ship is Sad Sack Hawkeye, so maybe more content with spunky prankster Hawkeye and co-conspirator BJ, or a proactive seductive Hawkeye pursuing BJ, romancing him, making it more of a "I want this because I want you" than a "I'm clinging to this because I need you" thing, which isn't sexy to me.
3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
Jfkdndkdn. Yeah, I guess. It's not like. A bad ship. I get it. They were The Pair for 8 seasons, they have many many moments to build a ship on, it's not without merit or something. They're friends who've been brought together in horrible circumstances, they go through a lot, they're close, there's some great scenes for them. I think you can get some interesting scenarios out of their dynamic, though my brain runs a little darker and angstier than shippy. But it is just so very much Not My Cup of Tea in either the show or in the fan works I've tried. Even fics that were otherwise interesting and well-written and in character, the BJHawk elements were pure 😬 to me. Truly truly "Your ship is not my ship and that's okay" situation.

TOH fans were saying Luz's depression arc was "realistic" and that it being "realistic" made it good. Obviously I disagreed that it's even believable for her character. Then someone added that the way her depression arc is written is very reckless for an impressionable audience. Luz cuts off her friends and family, lies multiple times to her girlfriend, and is constantly forgiven for bad behavior. I agree; the show portrays how Luz acts as correct when Luz blatantly ignores the lessons she's supposed to be learning from Amity (communication/honesty is key and you can lean on your friends/gf) for like 12 episodes. Feels like the lesson is if you're depressed, just be a shit gf/friend/daughter, lie to everyone, don't communicate, and everyone will bend over backwards catering to your bad behavior until your palisman hatches and you're normal again.
No therapy, coping mechanisms, healing, etc. Writers really need to put in more care when writing about these intense topics :/ or don't write it at all.
im about to begin my own depression arc after watching owl house go from best current cartoon to edge-lord dumpster fire. anyways thanks for the cathartic videos about TOH lately.
Fandom uses "realistic" as a catch all term for "I like this." If they like it, it's "realistic."
Fandom has long has a poor view of mental illness. Look at how many people insisted Catra had Borderline Personality Disorder because she *checks notes* was extremely violent and aggressive. Hell BPD is just their latest fad disorder that they stick on any villain they want to woobify. It was Histrionic Personality Disorder just three years ago, and ASPD just six years ago.
Fandom keeps looking for new ways to say "Bitch Disease."
The truth of the matter is, they like it when characters are mean and harsh and edgy and loners. And they think that's realism because of the same "Real = Bleak" mentality that saw video games be filled with Greys and Brows for the entire 7th Generation.
There is no "realistic" response to trauma. Everyone responds to trauma differently. And Luz already had a trauma response: It was proactive, corrective, determination, motivation, bad things happen and she's motivated to do something about it. The only reason it changed was because if Luz is mopey and bitchy and secluded away from everyone, they can drag it out until her Palisman hatches. And that was it. It was all manufactured for the "Big Reveal" which is just what bad writers do now.
It's all shock value.
They know it isn't realistic. It's just how they shoot down the discussion.

Hi, would you mind clarifying on your “you have a cop living in your head” post? I’m not entirely sure what it’s referring to
this is the post, for anyone who hasn't seen it
I clarified a little in the second ask here (first one is for context)
and I've made literally countless posts about this, but I don't got every link to hand because most of them are quite old, since shit lately hasn't exactly been prime "make a big long essay" feelings
there's a post somewhere, from back when the kanye/alex jones started, and I criticised the "I'm bipolar and I don't do that, so it's clearly him being Transcendentally Bad and not symptoms", as if nobody has ever gone off the fucking rails in a manic episode, lol
there's also some rants about it specifically regarding the "call all youtuber out for everything all the time and harass them, keep it escalating and escalating, demand whatever you want and when that's done, demand more" attitude people have, how egotistical thinking you're judge, jury, and executioner is, how it hinders the actual act of growth, etc. and I've said the same about prison, or vigilante justice, or so forth. as I said recently in a reblog of this:
really "it doesn't help the victim in any tangible sense to balance imaginary moral scales by causing more harm, the victim needs mental/social help, as does the perpetrator", it only hurts more.
you are not their personal mental health expert. you are not their doctor. you are not their therapist. it's just not your job to involve yourself in their growth or demand they do it your way. some ass hurt your feelings online, grow up, block them, leave it alone. the simple fact is that harassing people helps nobody, it's just smug superiority complex bullshit. and while you can have standards if friends/family upset you for when you'll forgive them, that is not morally binding, they don't owe you those things, they owe you a fucking big fat nothing, there is no karma debt to be repaid, and wishing suffering upon them to repay it is a dick move. so that is generally my stance, oversimplified somewhat to make it easier.
then re that post specifically, I saw someone talking about being completely in the throws of a mental breakdown, for depression, upsetting people around you, getting help, and that not being an adequate "fix", in fact there's no "fix", and the guilt should just be eternal from the sounds of things. that's depression. ever-lasting guilt is actually a manifestation of depression. you are not doing literally anything to help depressed people if you tell them to feel things like that forever. they preach about accountability, all this flowery bullshit about owning up to things, about not using such illnesses as an excuse, about how they're ill but they don't do the things someone else did- it's a progressive way of saying the old bootstraps bullshit, with an added dose of catholic guilt, and the rozzers living inside your skull. you're policing yourself to absurd degrees. you're using it to justify the unhealthy and cruel things.
frankly, you will do bad things sometimes because you're human people, and you'll do them because of mental health issues, and there's no fucking way you should endure endless guilt, because some edgy alt chick pretending to be a goth wants a progressive excuse to be a bitchy bully, or some braindead guy wants to look smart on the youtubes and win twitter's favour. those sentences mean nothing, they're excuses to hold things over people- a way people put words in your mouth, pretending that daring to start explaining yourself without bending over to get fucked up first is actually you "refusing to take accountability", from the authority they've decided they have to dish it out. it's egotistical jargon. or simply a cop living in their head. just because you don't do those things, your symptoms don't manifest like that, you respond in a different way to those circumstances, etc, doesn't mean another person is Fundamentally Evil, bodies respond differently to stuff. there's no reason to believe your experiences are universal. but it especially isn't very fucking leftist to call people intrinsically evil.
accountability culture is just people, who understand the prison industrial complex is wrong, being unable to understand that it's given them propaganda brainworms that they need to unpack, a problem with their worldview, and instead they've clung onto all these warped perceptions and tried to stuff them into a new shit worldview, that hyperfocuses on overly-moralising, and whether somebody is a victim or a perpetrator, black and white, and it all comes packaged with a perfect excuse to be this sanctimonious bully, to boost your own ego, and to judge others. it's fucked up.
that's why it's a cop in your head, it's literally coming from them.

Like, my issue with Velma is NOT about the diversity of the main character (and the main cast, by extension); I feel like this is a topic that should be addressed.
Are you guys familiar with the term "Sacrifical Trash" (coined by YouTuber Sarah Z)? It's when an average/mediocre piece of media is harshly criticized, but for the WRONG reasons.
Case In Point: Most people wrongfully accuse critics of homophobia when they trash-talk about Steven Universe, when the REAL reason why it's heavily criticized is for its subpar writing and animation, as well as shamelessly forgiving fascism.
While I acknowledge the importance of Steven Universe as an animation that inspires future showrunners to be more daring and inclusive in their works, I will NOT ignore the long-term damage of forgiving the Diamond Authority, and I WILL address them. Because that's how critics function. They function on NUANCE, meaning that there'll be both positive points and negative points.
But it seems that 90% of the internet doesn't know how critics are supposed to work. Most people nowadays are so impatient when consuming the news, and are also too thick-headed to listen to alternative versions of the story.
Like, Velma Dinkley being black and a lesbian is NOT the problem; the REAL problem is when you strip her away of her charming characteristics and make her all mean and bitchy for the sake of "sUbVeRsIvE cOmEdY". Absolutely DO NOT expect me to root for your black lesbian MC and the other characters if they're passive-aggressive and nasty all the time.
It IS possible to make a likable character who happens to be a minority, and The Owl House's Luz Noceda is proof of such an argument.
Tumblr media
Luz is creative, bright, daring, energetic, and all-around friendly. Her biggest flaw is her recklessness, and the reason why her adventures begin is because she was in dire need of a reality check (and she does get one, but not through the conventional means of a summer camp). And she's latina and bisexual.
Do you know why Luz works? Because she is a CHARACTER, and characters must be FLESHED OUT, so a connection with the audience can be stablished. Her entire characterization does not surround exclusively on the fact that she's black and gay, and she's absolutely not passive-aggressive and nasty with others for the sake of "bEiNg MaTuRe".
But do the execs care? No, they don't! The Owl House ALMOST got cancelled because of Luz's sexuality, and we can't have them queers being represented in a kids' show, let alone being POSITIVELY represented!
Meanwhile, shows like Velma not only get the wrong idea of being queer (by portraying lesbians as man-hating), as well as what makes an adult show good, and are still on air despite its disasterous ratings and reactions.
It's like they KNOW exactly what gets our knickers in a twist! They're certainly doing this on purpose!
Look, I am a 25yo woman, and I am feeling extremely uncomfortable about these adult shows being all about sex, drugs and murder. And not only that, I also feel extremely offended by its writing. I'm not stupid.
I mean, really! What makes you think why I gravitate towards children's shows, specially magical girls? It's because they don't treat me like some sex-starved idiot, a cynical activist, or a jaded bastard; and yet, they have given me more representation than your edgy gritty reboot ever will.

i'm just thinking today about how jack is an outcast but also simultaneously a social chameleon, and i think it boils down to the idea that he knows and is known by a lot of people ( like it is a functional part of jack's character within the plot that he just Knows People, even if he is universally loathed by them all lmao ), but very few, if any of those people actually Know him. i think a lot about school era jack in modern verse and how he doesn't neatly fit into any clique or category ( which is classic jack behaviour anyway, he doesn't fit into boxes ). he's kinda weird, is a loner and has difficulty forming close friendships, but it's not enough for him to be horrendously bullied or labelled a freak. like i honestly don't think he was really bullied much at school at all, at least directly, because a) he was bullied enough at home and b) he's assertive, strongly opinionated and will give as good as he gets to anyone who tries anything lmao. it's more likely that he encountered problems because he didn't give a fuck and stood up for those who were not confident enough to stand up for themselves.
he plays sports, swims and is good at gymnastics ( and within his hawkins and moordale arcs, is on the swim team ), but you can't characterise him as a jock either because nope. he's very musically inclined and is somewhat of an edgy, rebel delinquent, but is also intelligent af and enjoys reading shakespeare lmao. he's also the sort of straight-talking, somewhat judgemental bitchy type that would probably get along with the popular crowd, even if he's not one of them. and being rather flamboyantly queer, particularly as he's figuring out his sexuality, jack loves hanging out with girls even taking the fact that he dates around/hooks up a lot out of the equation. but being all of those things also means that he cannot latch onto a particular group to call his people. he is known by all of these groups, and can boundary-hop between different parts of the school social strata in the way only a trickster can, but doesn't Belong to any of them — and that's how he ends up outcasted.

thoughts on writing strong women
There's this trend with writing women i've noticed, where there is a warped idea of what a "strong woman" is in fiction and I don't gel with it. It's something i've thought about before, but it was brought to my attention again over Velma. This character is written to be snarky, bitchy, or authoritative, but she's unlikable and there's no quality about her that would redeem her negative traits. I think what writers assume makes the female character strong is independant thinking and relying on their own inner power rather than others. I resonate with that, however the execution is usually pretty poor. Another great example of this is Rat Queens- who's characters aren't necessarily written to be good people, but I couldn't find anything to like about them- and I love awful characters! When they are written with that intent. There must be something else to that, they can't be pointlessly mean. This idea of being an asshole makes you badass is flawed and just results in a character who is mean spirited and unlikable. On top of that, they lack a semblance of any inner femininity that would serve to balance out the negative. When I first began to write my MC, she was a lot like this but in what I thought was a humorous way and I think that's where the pitfall lies. I like my share of edgy humor- but usually in the form of a bit or a joke. Context changes the outcome, if you kick a dog that's cruel. If you kick a dog and a baby comes flying out, that's funny. There must be some criminal level of disconnect that these writers don't understand without knowing how to write darkness into a joke it will just come off as mean spirited or cruel. In order to change this character from a horrific beast, or a comedically dark caricature, I needed to focus on what made her human. Yes, theoretically in fiction all monsters and things are written to be human, that is to say they are all anthropomorphized to an extent where we as humans can relate (and therefore keep reading the story.) My MC is written like a pufferfish as opposed to a zebrafish. Her quills raise when she's threatened, or about to threaten. But when they go down, she floats around waiting for you to give her snails and clams. Her femininity lies in these moments where she's alone with the other MC, who is by all accounts is a totally neutral companion. By virtue of being more or less worthless, she smiles, laughs, and she's not very snippy or rude except for the occassional ribbing. It's indicative of a character who is capable of not treating everyone as her underling, despite having the power to subjugate, hurt and kill. Instead of femininity being outward in having big boobs, an ass, or being dolled up or look sexy, her strength is being moved by what her heart feels. The way underlying compassion and empathy for others manifests is where she draws this "feminine power". These terrible writers mistake kindness for weakness. I think this is why their characters fail to entertain or move audiences.

I really need people to understand that an entertainer you think is nice is an entertainer with a "Nice" *persona*.
They may be genuinely nice in real life, but you don't know them.
This goes for things like them seeming righteous or even seeming mean.
Some entertainers may put up a "bitchy" persona, particularly comedians or entertainers used to playing villains, but then be super nice behind the scenes.
Some people who broadcast leftist (or right) politics in their persona kinda don't really care; others who look apolitical (or centrist) publicly may be very politically active anonymously.
People can project a wholesome persona and be anything but after work, whether that "not wholesome" is being an asshole or just being really crass and edgy.
We do this ourselves irl. My childcare persona at work is very different from how I act with my friends, obviously- Im not gonna cuss in front of 2 year olds. Most people compartmentalize and code switch in various parts of life.
You do not know these entertainers personally. You know their career as an entertainer. It's normal to be very compelled by a charismatic performer but try to practice a reality check in knowing it is a performer performing and not a real friend you know.

Mean Girls/Bad Bitches Of Astrology (based on TV characters)
This post is entirely based on Sidereal/Vedic astrology, no zodiac generalizations.
There is always a certain pattern in actors' astrological charts when they play similar roles. I haven't seen anyone point this pattern out in the female antagonists of teen/young adult fiction, so I decided to make a post of it. And to also celebrate mean girls.
So I've searched the most popular, or should I say the most liked, mean girls/bad bitches on different types of media and looked for common placements in their top 3 (Moon, Ascendant and Sun). This post will start a series since there are quite a handful of characters/actresses to cover. But this is what I found so far:
Mars and Sun combo:
Regina George played by Rachel McAdams (Mrigashira Moon, Uttara Ashada Ascendant)
Tumblr media
Santana Lopez played by Naya Rivera (Mrigashira Moon, Krittika Ascendant, Uttara Ashada Sun)
Tumblr media
Alison Dilaurentis played by Sasha Pieterson (Uttara Ashada Moon, Dhanishta Sun)
Tumblr media
Chanel Oberlin played by Emma Roberts (Krittika Ascendant, Dhanishta Sun)
Tumblr media
Mars makes them combative and temperamental compared to all the other characters around them. Mars is the famous warrior, and a mean girl's sword is her sharp tongue. The combination of Sun and Mars makes them get a high from power. Sun makes them feel untouchable and superior, and Mars makes them an even bigger bitch as they find fun in provoking and mocking those 'beneath' them. They will literally have control over everyone yet don't even have to lift a finger.
This existing energy in the actors' chart makes them suitable for playing these roles.
Magha prominent placements :
Cheryl Blossom played by Madelaine Petsch (Magha Sun)
Tumblr media
Jennifer Check played by Megan Fox (Magha Ascendant — (undecided birth time, take with a grain of salt))
Tumblr media
Sharon played by Seo Ji-hye (Magha Sun)
Tumblr media
Go Moon Young played by Seo Yea-ji (Magha Moon)
Tumblr media
Magha is Leo, which is also Sun-ruled. Another thing common in all these women's charts is the presence of Sun (which is displayed negatively in their antagonistic characters). The arrogance, sense of entitlement and superiority. The lack of care for consequences and let's not forget their undeniable pretty privilege they use to manipulate others. Though, the Ketu influence doesn't give them the popularity and glam that the others have. They're more the loners kind and 'weirdos' of this spectrum. Them being different and misunderstood by normal people makes them feel even more superior. Their edgy aesthetic makes them much more eye-catching and generally more interesting than the typical mean girl. And anyway, this is my quote for what they'd say as an antagonistic bad bitch, "No one understands me because peasants can't have this level of mentality, peasant."
Venusian prominent placements:
Antoinette "Toni" Childs-Garrett played by Jill Marie Jones (Purva Ashada Sun)
Tumblr media
Sharpay Evans played by Ashley Tisdale (Bharani Ascendant, Purva Ashada Moon)
Tumblr media
First of all, all the Venus nakshatras are in fire rashis. Need I say more?? They will be confrontational, in your face, dramatic and impatient — they're all Aries, Sagittarius and Leo. And negative Venusian influence will make them more picky/discriminatory, shallow, too beauty-centered, greedy and extremely materialistic. They can be too ambitious or they can get too comfortable with things being handed to them for free. I feel like Venusian mean girls make the better archetype because these are traits talked about in high-maintenance 'bitchy' women.
Continued in part 2, since Tumblr only allows 10 pics/gifs per post and I can't add more characters 🙄
But anyway, in conclusion, to be the most iconic bad bitch, you need:
A combo of Mars and Sun nakshatras in the chart (otherwise, SUN in 1H or 2H/Sun Atmakaraka. MARS in 1H or 2H/Mars Atmakaraka. Sun conjuct Mars. Mars + Sun rashis).
You need some Magha in your top 3 (otherwise, Magha in your Atmakaraka).
And prominent Venusian nakshatras (otherwise, Venus in 1H or 2H/Venus Atmakaraka. Prominent Venus rashis.).
If you have all, then congrats, you have the potential of being an iconic bitch that everybody loves to hate. 💀

the wh*res are fighting 19 (one-shot)
Part 19: THE DATE
Previous - here - Next
masterlist
(this, perhaps, can be read seperately, so if you you wanna check it out, but nit the SMAU, then go on 😉)
a/n: Ok, it took me a long time, but I had a lot of uni work and it's also almost 5k words 🙃 Like, I can pull the standard SMAU texts out of my ass in an hour sometimes, but this? Nah-ah, I like writing, but I'm mostly slow. (but I will write out the ending too) Since the format is different, I'm putting content warnings on this (outside of the ones on the matserlist). Again, it's an AU so I will write Touya as bitchy or soft as I please, and I take no criticism for it 💅 (now watch me destroy them after some nice time - if you see this no you don't)
THE SHOT IS UNDER THE CAT
WORDCOUNT: 4878
CONTENT: hero!AU (Dabi/Touya is a hero), OOC, Y/N is awkward at feelings (cringe), lack of safety equipment (sledgehammers), romantic arson (just a bit), cursing, tatted up/pierced Touya, Touya rides motorcycle
I really hope you gonna enjoy it, cause I enjoyed writing it and I think it's alright!

You looked up from your phone to see the place where you were to meet Touya. As a first part of his date plan, he invited you to a small café that looked almost like a bookshop from outside. On the windows hung colorful fairy lights (although turned off, due to it being bright outside) and some handmade paper decorations. It truly was a nice place, but quite an unusual choice, considering it was Touya who chose it; a bit too wholesome perhaps, but who were you to judge.
After making sure that the address you arrived at was the correct one, you stopped under a tree to get some shade from the warm sun rays. You started to look around, seeing people, some of them in a rush, some enjoying the nice weather, while leisurely walking to their mysterious destinations. Unfortunately, one face was oddly familiar. Standing on the opposite side of the road was an ordinary looking man in dark clothing. Looking straight into your eyes, he moved towards the crosswalk and, in a very relaxed manner, directed his steps towards you.
You tensed up, ready for anything. It wasn't a good omen to see him right there, right now. He was sent there as a warning and it was apparent in his intense gaze and every little calculated move. Also, because you knew how the gods' machine works.
After barely a few seconds, the unnamed man stopped right in front of you, leaving precisely one and a half meter of space between your bodies. Perfectly straight back, relaxed face features, hands in sight. It didn't seem as though he was there to attack or cause trouble (any bigger than his presence alone already was), but you knew better than to let your guard down. Staring him down, you waited patiently for his words.
“Hello, number Four,” he said with a slight underline of contempt in his voice.
“What do you want?” You looked around to check if any unwanted attention was on you two. It wasn’t really necessary considering both of you looked like ordinary civilians, but, at the end of the day, it’s better to be aware of one’s surroundings.
The man shifted his weight slightly, taking half a step closer.
“You know your little paradise won’t last long.” He exclaimed and smiled cynically. “Or have you, perhaps, forgotten?”
“Fuck off.” With a cold voice and a cold gaze, you ended the short exchange. The man did not move, however. He stood, still with an annoyingly straight back, in front of you and looked both harmless and ready to leap at you, had he deemed it necessary.
The stare off was short lived. A few seconds later you felt a presence coming from behind you and the man was pushed away by Touya, who came just in time to hear the end of your conversation. He looked a bit concerned, but stared at the mysterious person with a hard gaze and little bit of blue flame coming from the corners of his mouth.
“She told you to fuck off, so go and scurry away.”
Unbothered, the man didn’t pay any attention to this sudden event. He seemed even amused by it to some extent.
“I see you got yourself-” he glanced quickly towards Touya, who stood right next to you “a dog.”
Already annoyed before by the sheer presence of this man, now you felt your blood boil. WIthout thinking much, you leapt towards him and harshly grabbed the collar of his shirt. You heard someone close-by whisper with a scared voice, but you paid no mind to it.
“Fuck. Off.” You started, accentuating the words and putting as much venom into them, as you could muster. “Go and crawl at their feet like the pathetic nobody that you are.”
You saw a change in his eyes. No longer emotionless, he seemed irritated, which filled you with a bit of sadistic pride. He forcefully pulled your hands away and shoved you back. Then brushed his shirt like nothing happened and, just before turning around and going away said:
“You are the same. Everyone who touches the Olymp is.”
Finally alone with your still-just-a-friend, you turned around to face him. Having brushed off the encounter, you smiled at Touya, first a little fake, but seeing him made you happy enough to be genuine after just barely a second. On the other hand though, he still seemed rather concerned with the strange turn of events.
“Who was that?”
“He’s a colleague... from work.” Your answer didn’t lessen Touya’s worry. His brows furrowed, while he decided to press a bit more.
“From work? He’s… a hero?”
You stood right in front of him and lifted your arm, putting the thumb between his brows, watching him relax slightly, as you caressed the crease in his skin.
“From before.” It was a diplomatic answer, both a lie and a truth. You knew Touya wasn’t stupid and would get to the truth sooner or later, but for now he seemed to let it go, so you changed the topic. “So, I must ask. Why… a cafe? I would be more inclined to think you’d take me to a boxing ring or something.”
Touya smiled at your teasing tone, but did not answer. He just turned around and started walking towards the entrance of the place. He stopped and held the door for you, still standing next to the tree, a few meters away.
“You coming?”
You looked at him unamused by his lack of answer, but went inside. It was pretty and cozy, which didn’t match with his more edgy vibe, but you just brushed it off and sat down on a plush armchair in the corner. You put your elbows on the table and propped your head on your palms, looking as Touya took his jacket off and threw it on the back of his chair. You started to closely admire the tattoos adorning both of his arms, from the hands to his shoulders (and even further, as you already knew).
“Both your tattoo and hand kink are showing, baby.”
He sat down and looked at you with a teasing glint in his beautiful eyes. You leaned back, crossed one of your legs over the other and put your arms up, in a gesture of surrender, but then looked at him accusingly.
“That’s not my fault that you’re a harlot. You’re basically putting yourself on display for me, so really, it’s on you. You whore.”
“You got me, but it’s only for you.”
Touya laughed then and stood up to buy you both a coffee. You sat still, waiting and looking around. When your eyes landed on the discarded jacked, you stood up to take it. A simple black jean jacket, quite thin to be suitable for the warm weather. Holding it by the collar, you brought it closer to your face and inhaled the smell of the perfume lingering on the fabric. You couldn’t quite tell what it was, but it wasn’t too strong and you had to admit it was one of the best smells you knew, especially with the mix of natural scent of Touya’s body.
The owner of the jacket came back with the drinks a few minutes later and saw you with the piece of clothing.
“A little thief today, are we?”
You took one last whiff of the jacket and put it down.
“It smells nice. Maybe I should buy this perfume for myself.”
Touya looked up from his coffee.
“You want my perfume?”
“As I said - it’s nice.” You shrugged and saw him smirk.
“I can give you mine if you want to smell like me so badly.”
“Hmm…” You hummed and leaned forward a bit, “Well, I wouldn’t mind smelling like you.”
You took your cup and started to slowly drink, while looking into Touya’s eyes. Something in them made you feel strange, perhaps it was the softness with which he took you in.
When sunshine fell on him from between the window decorations, he reminded you of some kind of angel, eyes almost glowing, silver piercings glistening; the sun accentuated every little shadow on his face, but, at the same time, made him look really delicate.
Touya’s gaze went down and your thought moved to the back of your mind. He adjusted his position on the chair before speaking.
“I guess I can tell you why the cafe, which you found, oh so surprising, I don’t know why.” He paused for a second to narrow his eyes at you. “I’ve heard you wanted a “normal” date, whatever the hell that means.”
“Wha-,” your eyes widened with mock surprise, “Did Shiggy snitch on me?”
“Please, he didn’t have to. It’s not like you asked all your friends for advice. So I decided to take you somewhere… classic, if you will.”
You crossed your arms on your chest and rolled your arms, then pointed an accusatory finger at your companion.
“Now you’re just mocking me.”
“Me? Never.” Obvious sarcasm on his part. “But I have one more place that I want to take you later. Perhaps more to your standards.”
Now you felt a bit guilty that he might have thought you didn’t like it. He didn’t seem so, but you preferred to explain either way.
“I don’t want you to think that I don’t appreciate it… it’s just…” You shrugged. “I didn’t expect something so… usual? Common? Normal, heh.”
“I know you’re just awkward, but let’s relax and enjoy ourselves.”
And so you did, talking about many different things for a few hours.
***
You put your index finger on your lips, pondering on something for a moment.
“Isn’t it going to be, you know… the anniversary soon? Of your mom’s divorce, I mean.”
“Yeah, that’s true.” Touya nodded.
“Damn, happy birthday then.” You brought your cup to your lips like you didn’t just say… that. But Touya lifted his eyebrows and stared at you unsure.
“What?” You just shrugged and he sighed, “Nevermind then. Happy birthday to mom.”
A few seconds of a comfortable silence fell over the two of you. The hushed voices of the people around filled your ears; they mixed together, providing a nice background noise.
“So… how’s you dad?” You quirked an eyebrow at Touya’s surprised expression.
“You want to talk about my… dad? Of all things?”
“Well… I’m just asking! And you know… since he “sucks ass” does he also eat it?” You smiled stupidly, but he just stared with a deadpan. “Okay, stupid, I admit.”
“We have family therapy, so it’s not that bad. Though, the old mad does deserve the bullying.”
You agreed and made a toast with your drink to Touya’s words.
***
“Excuse me!?” Touya exclaimed loudly, “You did what!?”
You put an index finger to your lips trying to shush him, while a few other people looked in your direction, some with curiosity, others with disapproval.
“It wasn’t that bad…” You looked apologetically at some of the patrons. “It’s not like I died.”
Touya stared at you in shock for a good few seconds, eyes wide and mouth slightly open. He was almost at a loss of words.
“What- not like she died! Fuckin-” He groaned and dramatically clutched his shirt on his chest. “You’re killing me! You’re killing your father!”
You snorted at his statement. Well, a flair for the dramatics was in his repertoire, after all.
“Don’t you mean ‘Daddy’?” You said with an amused smile and added with a tinge of irony: “Or do you prefer ‘father’ now?”
Touya did not find it funny (or at least, he didn’t let it show on the outside, if he did). He cupped his mouth with one hand, looking to the side, as to ponder on something.
“You know what?” He directed his gaze at you. “I might have to rethink the idea that dating you would be so nice. Like, you… fucking dumbass.”
Ah, concerned Touya, pretty sweet, you had to admit, but there really wasn’t a reason for him to worry.
“Keigo was with me then.” You stated matter of factly.
“Oh, yeah,” he nodded, “I am going to talk with that bastard too… no heroing with Keigo for you!”
You seriously didn’t think that he would be so concerned about the whole ordeal. After all, it was in the past, nothing really happened and if it would have happened, then well… you wouldn’t be here to discuss it.
You smiled softly.
“I don’t think you have any say in this.”
You chuckled, when Touya very aggressively took a sip.
“Jumping off the building… Who fucking does that!?” Oh no, the stare of disapproval.
“Keigo.”
“Because he has WINGS!”
“Yeah, and he caught me because of them!” You paused for a moment and thought for a moment about it. “Though I actually wasn’t sure he would, I mean… you know. He IS quite strong though.”
Touya actually looked like he was ready to end it all right then and there.
“You… didn’t know if he would catch you?” He articulated very slowly, slightly squinting his eyes at you. “And you still jumped?”
“Yup! You know, the adrenaline, fight or flight… I chose flight obviously.” You immediately saw that your cheerful carelessness and (an amazing) joke were nor appreciated, as he looked at you with a blank face, complete deadpan.
“I think, sooner or later, I’m gonna have a heart attack because of you.”
To that, you just cackled and reassured him that you would try not to die in a near future.
***
“Sooo… My sweet Touya, my favorite Todoroki.” He braced himself for whatever you wanted to throw at him, while you shot him a suggestive look. “When are you going to do a new tattoo?”
Oh, he already knew where this was going.
“I don’t know. Why are you asking?”
“You know…” You acted as if mulling on your idea and tilted your head to the side. “If you need some company…”
Touya sighed and just decided to get to the point.
“Do you wanna go with me?”
“Oh my god, can I?” You grinned and flicked your wrist. “You don’t have to!”
“Ok, then I’ll go alone.” He checked his phone, feigning disinterest, and took a quick look at you to see the hand still in the air and a very surprised expression on your face, that turned almost offended a second later.
“You can’t take it away from me! I’ll have you know, I have my rights.”
“I’m not taking anything away, since I never before said that you could go with me. You just always do.”
“Oh.” You looked down at your knees and did a fake sniff, knowing fully well he didn’t mind your presence… anywhere, really. “You don’t want me there?”
“Well, that-” he smirked slightly, “I never said.”
“So you’re just making a fool out of me then, I see how it is.” You crossed your arms over your chest and glared at him. He just laughed
“You already do it yourself pretty well.”
You gasped loudly with a hand on your chest.
“The audacity! You… how dare you! If you’re gonna be bitchy, I’ll fuck your sister, I will. Don’t try me.”
Touya rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“Will you though?” He seemed unconvinced, you wondered why. “Honestly, I thought you did it already. You were going out with her for what? Two months? That’s long… for your standard.”
“Nooo, I didn’t… really, I did not.” Then a different thought popped up in your head. “Won’t it be weird that IF we… become a couple, potentially, and I would, hypothetically, meet your family somewhere, you know, by chance and all. That I am Fuyumi’s ex, I mean.”
He furrowed his brows to digest your question.
“You think about that?” He smiled, seeing your awkward expression. “That’s cute of you.”
“BABY STEPS, PLEASE.” You loudly exclaimed, avoiding Touya’s eyes, to which he chuckled.
“Okay, just teasing you, baby.” His gaze softened. “But do you really care about that? What others think?”
“Uh…” you sighed, “I don’t know. Not really? But kind of.”
“It’s okay, baby steps, like you said.”
He leaned forward over the table, took your hand into his and soothingly caressed it with his thumb. Your heartbeat quickened a bit and, surprised at that, you just stared at Touya’s slowly moving finger. Feeling were never easy nor were they particularly good, but it felt so nice.
***
Suddenly you saw a flicker of colorful lights next to you, seeing that the decorations on the window were turned on. Looking out the window, you noticed how dark it became. The street neon lights were illuminated everywhere, people moving in all directions to unwind after hard days of work during the week. You were almost shocked at how fast the time went by.
“It’s pretty late, isn’t it?”
Touya hummed in agreement and, without saying anything, stood up to pay the bill. Earlier, you almost fought him to split it, but you came to an agreement that another time (“Oh, you already want to go out with me again?”, he teased) you would be the one paying. A moment later he came back, put his jacket on and you both exited the lovely cafe.
“So… where are we going?” You asked after following him in a completely opposite direction, to which you came from earlier that day.
“You’ll see.”
Ah, so much for getting information out of Mr Todoroki.
With a sigh, you just decided to follow him in silence. It wasn’t uncomfortable, like it usually tends to be, for which you were grateful. He wasn’t pushy, let you do things at your own pace, so you felt… comfortable.
A moment later you felt him grab your hand and let him intertwine your fingers together. Again, the annoying feeling in your chest reappeared. You would need to get a grip on yourself, if this was to continue. The evening was getting quite chilly so Touya used his quirk to make his palm warmer, but you almost took your hand away. You knew that it was bad for him, especially without his support items, even though he was able to control it, almost to perfection. Before you were able to get away, his skin quickly went back to its natural cooler state with a light squeeze to your hand.
Going through the busy street, you were able to observe people differently than usual. On patrols, you were mostly checking out dark alleyways, some abandoned or suspicious buildings, sometimes sites on the outskirts of the city; being able to, sometimes, take in the lively energy of the crowd was enjoyable.
Touya stopped after turning into some calmer sideroad. He took his hand from yours to grab a helmet and then helped you put it on.
“We taking your baby for a spin?”
“Of course.”
“Hmm, nice.”
After putting on his own helmet he sat down on the motorcycle, waiting for you to do the same. You noticed a new paint job on the matte black surface of the machine. On the sides were done shining blue flames, very on brand for him. You liked it.
You sat down behind Touya taking a hold of his waist, when he revved the engine and slowly drove away from the busy part of the city. Expertly maneuvering the streets, soon enough you were driving on the outskirts, where barely anyone was out. You looked at the changing scenery over his shoulder, noting the road you were taking seemed familiar. The trees surrounding you from both sides made the night look a bit unnerving, but it wasn’t anything you weren’t used to. The city was far behind already.
You squeezed him just a tiny bit stronger and put your head on his shoulder, careful not to knock the helmets on each other. Loud howling of the wind and the noise of the engine were a surprisingly calming combination, which you have discovered long ago, the first time Touya took you for a drive.
Finally, the motorcycle slowed down. You passed the old busted metal gate and entered a site surrounded by a tall chain link fence, made from wire much thicker than usual to make it more sturdy. The place was situated on a flat field, a bit away from the trees. You could barely see the outline of the big city from where you were.
The space where he parked was relatively empty, save for an occasional piece of metal or glass laying here and there. The only building was a huge square block, bare walls outside “decorated” only by identical windows with perfectly measured spaces in between them. The inside should be relatively empty. What ought to be there are only some vacated rooms and stairs leading from the ground, through three stories, to the roof.
You got off the motorcycle and took the helmet off, hanging it on the handlebar. Taking a closer look around, you notice a pair of sledgehammers and a can of gasoline next to the gate of the building.
“An abandoned Commission site, huh?” You asked rhetorically, but Touya looked surprised at that.
“How do you know what this place is?”
You decided to ignore him and just pointed to the items you noticed.
“You planning to kill me here or something?” You said with a smile, looking at him. He quirked an eyebrow and moved to pick up the sledgehammers and offered you one.
“Birdbrain said we can trash this place.” You took the tool weighing it in your hand with ease.
“Of course he did.” You glanced at the gasoline. “Did he also say we can play with fire?”
Touya smirked, lifted his hand towards his face and lighted his pinky finger with blue fire. He then moved the hand more towards you, letting you blow it out.
“With me, it’s always playing with fire.”
“I knew you were an arsonist at heart, Touya.” You chuckled lightly, but your voice quickly died down when you looked at him.
He looked at you with an intensity that instantly hypnotized you to focus only on his eyes, which seemed to glow slightly. The only source of light was the moon and the stars in the sky so you were surrounded by harsh shadows and an occasional speck of moonlight.
The gaze with which he stared at you almost made you uncomfortable, because it seemed like he was able to read every little dirty secret you held deep within. A quick thought, that maybe he actually could read you like that, crossed your mind.
He moved a step towards you and brought his hand to grip your chin. Not hard enough to hurt you, but enough to feel that he could, if he wanted to. Exciting.
He pulled your face a little, so that his lips were right next to your ear. You felt his hot breath on your skin, when he asked:
“Aren’t you?”
You felt him move his mouth across your skin, from your ear right to your lips. The grip on your chin lessened as he moved his hand to hold the back of your neck instead. It wasn’t anything new to kiss him, but it felt a lot more intimate this time. No force behind it, no rush, nothing inherently sexual; just softness, an interesting contrast to his intense eyes and touches.
He moved away, just enough to speak up, your noses still touching.
“Come on.” He let go completely and moved to grab the gasoline, before entering the building.
You stood in place a moment longer, rendered speechless and motionless by the emotions you felt. The loud hammering in your chest was almost deafening. Not good, get a fucking grip. Without a word, you followed Touya inside.
After a few moments (when the blood pump finally decided to calm down), you glanced around. As you thought, a big empty space, at least on the ground floor. Since the electricity had been shut off a long time ago, the only light was coming from the moon and your phone flashlight. You went after him towards the stairs to the first floor, where a space was filled a little bit more by the rooms dividing the place.
Touya stopped next to a wall to one of the former offices and put his things down, before taking your phone to light your blank canvas, ready for destruction.
“Swing.” And so you did.
You braced yourself against the floor for stabilization and took a wide swing, from behind your back. The hammer made an impact with the wall and with ease penetrated it to the other side. Forcefully, you teared it out, making the hole two times wider.
Oh, it was so liberating. The destruction and chaos of this place would bring you much pleasure.
With a laugh, you took a next swing, and then another, and another. Both of you went on a rampage, destroying what you could in this deserted place. All of the windows broken (some of them with your fist covered in a rug found somewhere on the ground), the inside walls full of holes, doors ripped out of its hinges. The place filled only with dust, debris, and the laughter and screams of both of you.
After you had enough, you ended up lying on the roof. Touya’s head right next to yours, although upside down, as he laid in the opposite direction.
You stared at the clear night sky, admiring millions of stars visible that night. It was always an otherworldly experience to be able to see them. It made everything seem so insignificant in the comparison to the vastness and beauty of space.
Touya, however, was not looking at the sky. His eyes were focused solely on you. He liked the peace and calm visible on your face. You felt his gaze on the side of your face and turned your head to the side, to also look at him.
You moved your hand to push his hair back. It was always really soft to the touch.
“Your roots are showing.” You said quietly, looking at the white part of his hair. He just hummed with eyes closed, marveling at the soft touch on his head.
Before he could fall asleep here, you took your hand and sat up cross-legged. You turned around to look at him, still lying down and still looking at you.
“Didn’t you want to commit arson?”
He perked up at that and got up, but stopped you, when you moved to do the same.
“Wait a second and don’t move.”
You stayed seated and just observed as Touya took the can and started to pour the gasoline on the roof, away from the stairs, in some kind of pattern. When he finished, he motioned you with his hand to come to him.
Ah, so the gasoline heart then. You weren’t really surprised by it, but still laughed, although more at the weirdly proud expression Touya had on his face.
“It’s really cheesy,” you paused for dramatic effect, “I love it.”
You kissed him lightly on the cheek, to which he froze for a second. Oh, could it be that this time you were the one to render him speechless? After the initial shock, he beamed at you with his stupidly wide grin that sometimes appeared on his face. Though, after a moment it faltered and he grabbed your upper arm. You could pull away, if you wanted, but you just let him hold you.
“Who was that man today?” This again. He seemed worried, more than anything, which you didn’t like that much, cause he could drill it out of you, if he truly wanted. So you decided to avoid his eye, looking in the other direction.
“I told you already… it’s a colleague from work.”
“You know I don’t buy it.”
“I know, but… it’s the truth.” You looked him straight in the eyes, so he would know that it was not a lie.
“I hope you know you can tell me anything.” You wished you could.
“Give me the matches.” He knew that for that moment that would be it, so he let go of your arm with a sigh and took out a small box out of his pocket.
You took it and moved to the other side of the gasoline heart.
You wiped your teeth with your hand, to which Touya raised his eyebrows, but when you took one match out of the box and lit it directly on your teeth, he did look impressed by your trick.
Touya lit his blue flame and both of you set ablaze the gasoline. The fire traveled from both sides, to meet in the middle and create more green-like color. From behind the flames, you were able to see just his silhouette. A beautiful, although terrifying (to some) imagery.
When the fire started spreading, you quickly moved to leave this place behind.
Again on the motorcycle, tightly embracing Touya’s torso, you looked back to stare at the rising flames. Colors mixed with each other, creating a picture any painter would be proud of.
Playing with fire was always thrilling, you just hoped none of you would get burned.

It's because the writers over the years seemed to conflate edge with depth, and that just doesn't work for Plas.
In general, giving a character an edgy, shitty life has fuck all to do with how interesting they are, and it can actually backfire by making the story so grim that apathy sets in, and you don't give a shit because nothing is going to get better for whoever your reading about/watching.
I had a blast reading both Terrifics and the 2004 comic because, while there were dark moments and sad plotlines, the writers didn't fixate on them, opting to use them as a conflict to actually be overcome instead of a permanent state meant to give the characters "meaning".
Morgan and Edwina (I think that was the adopted daughter's name) had arguments with Plas, but when all was said and done, the three of them sorted their shit out as best they could and ended up loving each other as a family, realizing the places where they needed to be more merciful and understanding to each other. Plas wasn't treated like a deadbeat piece of shit, because that's not in his personality anywhere. They used his kindness and overprotective nature/misunderstanding of what it means to be a parent as his flaw, and that worked, because it didn't feel like it came out of nowhere. It felt appropriate for him, and it made for a very honest and likable arc. He was trying to be a strict dad because that's what he thought was correct and what would keep her out of trouble, but that wasn't what she needed, and he learned that in the end.
Luke and Plas's relationship was a bit more likable in Terrifics because you saw Plas putting forth effort to bond with him in a pretty believable manner, though there were still issues with the way his family was handled on the whole, because you once again have this kind of forced "Hey Plas sucks and is a deadbeat" undercurrent to the writing, but not only was he held away from his family completely out of his own control, making his family seem strangely harsh, but his interactions with Lin constantly and continuously show how kind, patient, and gentle he is towards children (and people who feel kind left out and alone in general) and how he goes to the moon and back to make sure they're alright and feel loved.
I will yell this at every given opportunity because DC frustrates me so bad with how they handle how he relates to other people. He's an ex-criminal, but he is one of the kindest damned characters they have DUE COMPLETELY TO THE FACT THAT HE'S BEEN THROUGH A TON OF SHIT AND IS EMPATHETIC. That's not something to sleep on. That's a clever setup that they keep mishandling.
BBatB placed his "repeatedly fails but is trying to get better" characteristic in a far more suitable spot, which is with him still trying to steal diamonds and shit even though he's supposed to be a hero, and you see him fucking up missions and getting in trouble because of it, and it's usually funny, too. You know beyond the shadow of a doubt that "No, this is 100% his fault", and him getting in trouble because of it usually feels warranted, and then he learns his lesson and is still likable at the end of the day. It doesn't feel like he's unfairly fighting against entropy, or that we're meant to want entropy to win. (Though they did give him an unnecessarily bitchy wife in that show too.)

Haluu, i would like to try the matchup if you dont mind :)
-Im a female in her 20s, short and flat as hell (i am nearly 5.0ft 🥲).. Even tho I'm asian, i don't have the height gens like Koreans.
-Im an INFP with 4w3 as functions (means that im a highly individualistic person and always craving for success and something original)
- Always on creative mode and can easily notice a pattern of certain things (such as routine, format and etc)
- Likes to volunteer to be on stage just because i hate the feelings of being part of the crowds (blending in the crowds doesnt make me feel original or standout ish.. it makes me feel less of me, hence the reason why i dress a little bit differently)
-Always being complimented by my teachers back in the days for being a good student to the point my former classmates think of me as someone who are smart and a goody two shoes
-Im a listener and always the emotional provider
- I can be quite idealistic and I am more prone to improvising/fixing things rather than planning in details. So you can say im quite spontaneous..
-I am chaotically messy but tidy at the same time. I tend to organize things in my house when my real life stuff gets messy (to me organizing stuff kept me sane, its not a routine but more like a hobby/ de-stress activity)
- I used to be very outgoing and socially butterfly but it all changes when i got stabbed in the back by my old friends and now im tend to be more reserved and become socially awkward to the point my friends now doubt and misunderstood me numerous times.
- Im still am sensitive to my own feelings and to others, but i tried my best to hide it due to the fact that now i dont really have the kind of friend who is willing to listen to my thoughts (i dont want to burden them since they are busy with college)
- Despite the world see me as someone who are independant, opinionated with strong determination, reliable and trustworthy. I wanted to know how it feels like to be taken care of
- Did i mention i love romcom, sci fi fantasy and drama??
- I play Final Fantasy , Mystic Messenger, Sims (mainly for house designing) and all the mobile adventure and puzzle games.
My bad sides:
-Self-blaming
-Insecure with my flat area on my body
-People's pleaser
- Can be quite bitchy when im jealous and may accidentally hurting others a long the way, but regret later with tears and more self blaming.
- tends to sweep emotional problem under the rug
- Afraid to be judge and afraid to be framed as the bad person.
My aesthetic:
forever and always pastel, pinks and florals. Black & White classic with a little bit pf edgy. Tapestry on the wall, lighten up by fairy lights. Scrapbooks, dreams&feelings journals and songwriting are my sacred possesions. Romance, fantasy and drama fictions are the reason why im still alive.
My preference in future partner:
Caring, attentive, a family man, adorable, dorky, a teaser, spontaneously funny, the-dont-give-any-damn vibe when in public, understanding and protective.
That is all that i have.. i want to apologize for the long ass descriptions (and sorry for being a little bit personal) I hope what I stated above could help you in the process of matchmaking
Plz don’t apologize! I really enjoyed learning about u and it helped me understand u and write a hopefully okay matchup. I’m glad that u feel comfortable enough sharing all this bc i know how hard it can be. This matchup is a bit more hurt/comfort than the other ones so plz let me know if u’d like me to write a more fluffy one instead. I couldn’t help it after all u shared (I feel like i could write a fic with u haha) and i hope that this could somehow provide u with a little sense of comfort. If u ever need someone to talk to, plz don’t be afraid to message me! I’d be happy to listen or talk if u’d like :)
I match you with...

taehyung!
When you first meet, he immediately thinks that your behaviour is a bit strange
You naturally and effortlessly stand out from the crowd, but he can also see that you’re holding yourself back and he wants to know why
He understands what it’s like because he’s a very creative and unique person himself and sometimes he also feels the need to suppress himself
The other members always encourage him to be himself and he’s truly grateful for that, but they don’t understand him
But he thinks that you can
You both are very unique individuals and although people think that that would make you two clash, it actually is what brings you together
Once you two start talking, you talk for hours as you two bond over finally having someone you can really relate to
He’s everything you could ever want in a partner
He was a dork, but it was adorable and made him even more precious
And he cares for you like no one else ever has
He can be all smiles and completely carefree, reminding you of a child
But there’s a more serious side to him
He’s very attentive to you and the instant he notices something is off, he doesn’t hesitate to let you know that he’s there for you and he wants to help you
He doesn’t rush you or force you to tell him anything, but it’s hard to resist him when he stares at you with nothing but love and concern
When he learns about your past, what your old friends did to you and why you are how you are, he becomes even more protective of you
He loves you as you are and wouldn’t change a thing, but he can’t help but feel angry about the happiness that was taken away from you
He doesn’t care that it made you socially awkward, if anything he thinks it only makes you more adorable
But he wants you to see yourself the way he sees you
And more than that, he wants you to love yourself the way he loves you
He never fails to remind you every day how much he loves you, every part of you, mentally and physically
And whenever he takes you out, he shows you off to the whole world because he’s so proud and in love with you
Sometimes you shy away from the attention but he pushes you out of your comfort zone. Not too much to the point you feel overwhelmed, but enough for you to feel confident and come out of your shell
He knows how independent and strong you are, but still, everyone needs someone to rely on
He takes care of you and makes you feel loved like you never have before
He makes everything you’ve ever gone through feel worth it; he makes you feel worth it
ik that it can be really easy to criticize yourself but it’s ok to make mistakes so whenever something goes wrong, just remember that “it’s not a big deal.”
