Well, I’ve been in a pandemic-induced dry-spell for the last few months, but looking back over the past year I did post quite a bit. Here are 5 of my faves:

John Watson's Twelve Days of Hiccups (9k, explicit) For John Watson, being afflicted with an intractable case of hiccups was a source of intense irritation. For Sherlock Holmes — his mad scientist of a flatmate — it was a golden opportunity for experimentation.

The Three Brothers Holmes and the Big BAMF John (1k, teen) A fairytale crossover between Sherlock and James Bond. When Mummy Holmes sends her sons out to seek their fortunes, she sets the stage for a series of whirlwind romances.

Moriarty and the Moss-Covered Rock (1k, general audiences) When Moriarty discovers a magic rock, he begins concocting nefarious schemes. Fortunately, Sherlock and John have some tricks of their own.

Gay Pilots (1k, teen) A crossover between the Sherlock Unaired Pilot and Cabin Pressure. When Sherlock and John charter a flight, Arthur ends up playing matchmaker.

A Beast in the Woods (3k, teen) Edwardian teenlock. There's something uncanny about the young man Sherlock discovers lying naked in the woods of his parents' estate...

As I haven't written much in general yet, I don't have to make hard choices which is good because I suck at that 😆😅. Mostly because I love my stories in a different way and for different reasons!!

1.) Shatter Me

because it's the first one I ever started writing. It's my baby and it's the one I worked on the hardest and the longest.

(johnlock, WIP ch15/21, slow burn, friends to lovers, balletlock, song fic)

This is a story about two men trying to find their way back into the comfort of their companionship. No easy task in the aftermath of the events of Reichenbach, a wedding and a shot through the heart. They are facing a very rocky road ahead with a lot of introspection, misunderstandings, angst and pining. They each try to cope in their own particular way. Eventually, they'll find a way to communicate and learn about the true nature of their feelings.

2.) How He Came To Be

because this co-authored fic with wonderful littleweedwrites/@shylockgnomes is very dear to me. An amazing experience to develop a whole world for and around our main character together. I dare say that littleweed and I are complimentary and better together.

(Sherlock&Mycroft, G, WIP ch4/12, kid Sherlock, autistic Sherlock, trans Sherlock, adoption) part 1 of The Families of Sherlock Holmes series which will eventually cover the development of Sherlock Holmes from toddler to the man we kno wand love.

It’s Summer 1979, and Mycroft Holmes’s ordered and sensible world is about to simultaneously be pulled to pieces and completed by a tiny tornado tot with sea changing blue eyes.

This is a story of how Mycroft became a big brother and how his little sibling grew up.

3.) The Posh Purple Pirate (Enter My Life and Make Me Drown)

because it was written to indulge in my own kinks of pole-dancing Sherlock in eyeliner(!!), leather and lace, topped (pun intended 😏) by a lap dance to seduce John Watson. Also my best received fic until now.

4.) Ginger or Red-Headed

because I wrote it for lovely @barbsiebabe based on a very inspiring conversation about pubic hair 😆

Sherlock is bothered by the colour of his newly grown beard as it doesn't quite match the colour of the rest of his hair (and then he means all different types of hair!!) He knows for a fact that someone else is ginger on one specific part of his body and feels the need to investigate this further. Somehow John doesn't mind this particular research in the slightest.

5.) Bad Hair Day

because it is the result of a ridiculous conversation with dear friends, because it was the start of my Hairy-series and because it made me participate in the Isolated Johnlock Collection (and I'm still a bit proud that I dared to do so 😬😅)

This is what happens when one bored Consulting Detective is left alone while John Watson has to go out to do the shopping during a pandemic quarantine. Experiment? Disguise? Whatever... John isn't very delighted about Sherlock's new look...
