How do you think cybertronian society would react (pre war) to ashlyn like unleashed on their planet, because personally I think that would be hilarious and also terrifying. Do I ask this mainly because the thought of young D-16 and either current story Ashlyn or pre story Ashlyn interacting is both terrifying and interesting? Yes.

Honestly, it could go so many different ways, *evil cackle*

Speaking of the new movie, is everybody else hyped? CAUSE I AM SO EXCITED! FINALLY, we are getting a fun animated Transformers film ヾ(*´ ∇ `)ﾉ

ehem, happy dance aside, here's what I think a Golden Age Ashlyn would have been like...

Presuming that she fell into this situation as a Human things get awkward very quickly. Organics aren't very well received on Cybertron nevermind how their products are luxury goods apparently

Running through the streets, ducking under vendor stalls, and darting between peds like a literal street rat, Ashlyn is very very confused on what the utter frag happened to her.

Unfortunately, as an organic alien lifeform, especially as one that is currently undiscovered, she is VERY distinctive. Her small size helps her a bit with sneaking, but eventually, it becomes common knowledge that a weird creature is hanging around. It doesn't help that her need for breathable air severely restricts potential roaming areas, and only a handful of stores/merchants carry edible food items.

Already making a name for herself as a pest... in a surprisingly literal sense.

When she's eventually spotted and caught by a Cybe with particularly good reflexes, Ash is forced to come up with something fast so she doesn't get squished. By now, you all know where her self-defense tendencies tend to point to.

On the plus side, the twerp survived. On the negative, he's going to need a new servo since the wiring that articulates his digits is beyond saving. Also, a small feral organic that goes for joints is apparently entertainment enough for these people. Welcome to the mini and illegal gladiator battles, Ashlyn! The unregulated leagues for those who can't afford to go watch the real thing.

Look at her go, gaining all the XP fighting alien bugs and other mini-bosses.

Of course, 3 things occurred during this time period. 1) Ashlyn is actually picking up on Neocybex and proving surprisingly adept at it. 2) She's starting to gain a legitimate reputation and doing Humans Are Space Orcs proud via creative/brutal takedowns of her opponents, and biological features that can be terrifying to an alien. 3) Someone in Iacon has quietly been looking for a creature resembling her specifications, but due to the fact that Ashlyn is in Kaon and an asset of an illegal fighting ring, she is unidentifiable.

Of course when Ashlyn finally gains enough of an affinity for Neocybex, (with a very thick kaon accent) she wants to wait to reveal her sentience until it's at a point where she can't be knocked off or ignored. That plan does not last. No.

Because Ashlyn Moore, covered in robot gore, looks up one day to see a very familiar outline.

"ɎØɄ"

D-16, for his part, is very confused as to why the little alien just looked at him and started chittering like a sparkling while shaking.

The crowd is in an uproar.

See humans do look very similar in structure to a basic Cybertronain model. Even more so when you compare it to a sparkling model which is squishy. eh, Unicron connection?

The point is, an unidentified, kinda sparkling-ish thing, that sounds like sparkling, has also just fulfilled one of the oldest Sparkling-Guardian rituals of choosing an adult to protect them. Look at ze adult, go to ze adult, don't let ze adult leave without you.

Ashlyn might not have had such... noble intentions when she launched herself at D-16 while rambling, but such is the beauty of cultural miscommunications. And dehydration and malnourishment. And an almost chronically activated stress response. You get situations like these!

"ɎØɄ!-ĐłĐ…₮₳₭Ɇ ₴Ø₥Ɇ ⱤɆ₴₱Ø₦₴ł฿łⱠł₮Ɏ! …-₣Ɽ₳₲ł₦₲ ฿Ʉ₲₴ ł'VɆ ₭łⱠⱠɆĐ?"

Ashlyn is only half understandable in this state, but it's fine. D-16, and soon all of Kaon understands perfectly.

A scrappy deformed sparkling, likely originating from an unidentified hot spot, beat the odds and has chosen an ex-miner and soon full-time gladiator to be her sire/mentor. What a spark-warming story.

Oh yeah, and someone in Iacon is still hunting that human.

The end result would probably culminate in an overly suspicious Ashlyn accidentally causing a chain reaction that would lead to a Decepticon Orion Pax, a proper coup of the High Council, probably Emperor of Destruction Starscream, and Big Villian Shockwave. The Autobots would not exist. Does anyone want to try and theorize why?

D-16 would realize pretty quick that this tiny bundle of chaos isn't an actual sparkling, but it's an argument he'd use to keep her should any outside influences try and take Ashlyn away. Why? Because a highly intelligent and vicious mystery just dropped into his lap, and someone on the Council wants it really badly. That's more than enough of a justification.

Now, if only he could find out why the organic hates him so much... and why she's so valuable.

Now Ashlyn as a bot would be VERRRRRY different.

Same as the first, she pops up in Kaon (may or may not be a narrative reason for that (・ω<) )

Unlike the human version, the poor girl is caught almost immediately.

Turns out, stumbling around a foreign area, being unable to speak the language, and lacking identification doesn't get you the best treatment. Unfortunately, her more bestial-looking design doesn't help much either in a Functionist society.

Actually, the Enforcers processing her are pretty confused by it, the wings and taloned servos say Seeker, but the spines and fanged denta hint at something else completely... and the subject refuses, or is unable to, transform into an altmode...

Oh well, can't put it in a category, and then toss it out.

Flagging the weirdness for the bosses to deal with, the anomaly is sent to the mines, and a record containing her image and newly given designation is sent to the higher offices. YN-013 is soon forgotten.

Ashlyn, by the time she figures out written translations for Neocybex, finds the designation hilarious. Her fellow miners don't understand why she giggles when she introduces herself.

The mines are horrible, that much is undeniable, but at the same time, Ashlyn can't help but feel like it should be worse?

Her form proves adept at collecting energon, her claws far more efficient than the half-rusted pick-axe she's handed every day. The energon is easy to find too, almost like there's a sixth sense in her brain for where those shards are hiding.

She doesn't realize that the tunnels she's stationed in quickly gain a reputation for being more productive. That her peers end their days not quite as run down anymore. That miners switch shifts and bribe to be in the same branch of tunnels. She's quickly become an omen of good luck and temporary revival.

Ashlyn also doesn't realize that someone in Iacon is tearing through every rumor on Cyberton looking for her... or the organic her.

D-16 hears rumors about the newest unfortunate spark that's been sent to join them in the dark, but he doesn't believe it. Not until he sees it.

There is something about this individual that's different, maybe the stories are true. Solus reforged, perhaps? The missing Thirteenth? Or is this a new prime, come to save them and bring Cybertron back to its glory.

Ashlyn for her part is vibing collecting pretty rocks, and would prefer the future genocidal maniac to stay far away from her, please.

The not-yet-future-genocidal-maniac does not leave. Instead, he talks.

D-16 is actually the one that teaches her proper Neocybex, not the fragmented version she's been getting by with. In return, she tells him what the surface was like for the brief bit of time she was there.

Over time, the strange happenings around YA-013 are normalized and forgotten, but not by D-16. He knows she is not just some wild-forged thing that had the bad to stumble into the wrong city-state. He knows that she can't just be some bestial new-forged, because her optics are far too aware, too knowing. She hesitates, as though shuffling through information when she speaks. The alien babble she talks to herself in, while basic, is too natural to be anything but a primary language. Her smiles are sad even if the laughter is easy. She says things, and calls him Bucket Head, and Mega-arse.

She already knows who his favorite Prime is.

YN-013 never comments when he explains his plans to become a gladiator and gain his freedom. But he can feel the judgment. The resignation. Like she already knew. "Forget about me when you become one of the most famous bots to walk on Cybertron, yeah? Little old me will be nothing compared to the masses that'll scream your name."

YN-013 never talked about her own future, not in a way that sounds lasting. "I'd like to sightsee while I can. Never know when city walls will go tumbling down."

Megatronus doesn't forget her. Not in the Pits as he battles against foes and realizes how much healthier his frame is compared to his opponents, how much stronger, despite them all feeding off the same scraps. He doesn't forget as he meets an Archivist and hears all the snide jokes about his type being "boys in red and blue. Sweet nerds that take forever to commit to ending you."

Orion Pax, quickly becomes a close friend. Megatron never comments on his paint job. He's yet to see Pax exhibit anything but an agreeable and slightly excitable disposition... but he can't help but hold back even as he chides his own superstition.

"I don't think you'll have much luck in the friend department, Bucket. "

Why had he never gone back for her? Why had she never joined him in the arena?

"That's your origin story, D, and I'd hate to incinerate your undefeated record."

Megatron doesn't forget the stranger hidden in the mines. Not when he meets Orion's mentor, not when he stands before the Council, not as every veiled barb, sorrowful mutter, or hidden revelation comes true.

Even when he goes back for her and finds her gone, the Warlord never forgets the seer of the mines.

YN-013 had never realized, that just as D-16 had taught her a language, so too had she taught him hers. Every private word, every thoughtless exclamation, he remembered.

No, that unfortunate spark in the mines was not a wild-forged femme with bad luck. She was not a prime, remade, or replace. She was something different. A puzzle, a friend, an asset.

Lord Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, never forgot.

So how strange was it, to find a planet that spoke that same tongue?

The Autobots seek a relic and the Decepticons search for a seer. Optimus inherits a charge that can only be fulfilled through a missing person and Megatron wants closure to the fate and identity of someone he might've considered a friend.

Ashlyn struggles with guilt over choosing to not change the timeline and has been hiding on Earth since the last few centuries of the war. She's spawned more than a few stories in her wanderings, triggered some changes she never realized. A shifter who went rogue after a drunken conversation at a bar and never swore his loyalty. Bartering fuel with an Autobot vessel, allowing the Ark to avoid Decepticon Scouts and remain unharmed. A Prime who learned the truth about his predecessors early, and resolved to do more than simply restore his planet to what it used to be.

Ashlyn can't hide from the plot forever. War or not, things have changed, and now she's part of that story.

California Home Renovation

Happy 2020, my wonderful friends! I have been working a little less than I usually do and I feel better about everything in my life. Sometimes all we need to do is take a break to feel ourselves again… and have our creative side get back to its full potential!

It’s really great to start this week with this inspiring California home renovation by Spaces Renewed (previously featured here). This was a total reno, inside and out, and the interiors were beautifully staged for sale, and although the staging company (Everything Creative Designs) wasn’t able to provide the resources for the furniture and decor, I will be doing my best to find the items or similar options so you still can get this look!

Here, the talented builder and designer Beth Booth, along with her equally talented husband, Marshall, share the details on this incredible project:

“We did this project for an investor and the goal was to make this home as appealing as possible to a wide range of buyers. We did this by not only addressing the cosmetics of the home, but also fundamentally changing the floor plan. We took overly large redundant space and made distinct, usable and versatile space. For example, the existing master bedroom and bathroom and media room took over the entire upstairs. By repurposing that area, we created a generous master bedroom and bathroom suite, a library, a media room, a game room, and a great sized laundry and craft room. These changes not only make the feel of the home totally different, but also give the investor the best return on investment regarding real estate comps. We took this 8800 square foot dark, closed off gut job and turned it into an inspired coastal style full renovation that any family would love to call home.”

This was a total gut and reno of a 8800 sf home in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Architectural Details

The architecture, interior design, and build were done by Spaces Renewed.

Windows and front door are Jeld-Wen.

Foyer

The vibe of this home is a cool neutral pallet that still feels warm and inviting. The organic elements throughout bring texture and layered warmth. With all of this homes charm and down to earth appeal, there is still an elegance and presence that a home this size commands. I think the interior design choices, furnishings and floor plan changes accomplish all of these lofty goals.”

The interior paint color (most rooms) is “Dunn Edwards Cloud”.

I will say, you guys will eventually witness at a “barely with it” Ashlyn and all the chaos such a state brings.

Because that’s what it is CHAOS

*ehem* but if we want to get into specifics, sleep deprivation, and inebriation will have two very different effects.

Sleep deprivation will up the paranoia while lowing awareness. So Ashlyn will be creating red string boards that showcase what she remembers of the plot (think Bulk in TMI). She'll either do this in a semi-public location or sneak away to some dark corner. She will be attempting to tunnel into the walls of the base, this will be somewhat successful before she realizes there are perfectly good vents and moves into that. She will be quiet. Sometimes. Mostly quiet with some giggles because everything is so funny if you think about it, none of this is real, a few odd mutters as she remembers something from the show or the before, and some very aggressive, loud, and sudden SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-

The voices can be very rude

Drunk or high Ashlyn is very different. While previously she was a blood-shot, twitching, rat in the walls, here she is very... mellow.

Like catnip mellow. Lounging on the bot's heads mellow. Sleeping on a transformed con mellow. Very openly launching into her tragic backstory mellow. There's a disassociation between what she sees and what is actually there. As a result, some of the things she's saying would legitimately break canon, but they're either muddled into other continuities or subconscious dorkiness that a psychiatrist would love to get their hands on.

"A-and, Unicron said no! Mega-worm, *hicc* you let a prime live, so you can't work for me. *Hicc* Which is kinda stuuupid. I doon't see him *hicc* killing a primee... Mr planet multiman."

"Ep, ep, ep! Who let her have High Grade? What is wrong with my charge!?!?" "It's 'vodka' Sunshine, thought the little firecracker deserved to relax." "I can taste colors... whyy-you-all-so-shiny? The voices don't like it." "Wheeljack, by primus, you have fifteen earth minutes to exit the base before the next 'Wrecker Activity' Miko learns about is a funeral."

That actually has a surprisingly complex answer. Ashlyn is an accidental special case for this world, a result of convoluted myths, chosen ignorance, and luck. She represents pure, unrestrained potential without a clear direction. The longer she remains in that state the more... unbridled the results will be.

Ashlyn as a human is not eldritch.

Ashlyn as a Gaurdian is not supposed to be eldritch.

I'll be honest, it is one of THE dynamics I am so, so excited to get into.

Keep in mind that, except for Soundwave and Megatron, he is currently the only con who has had the opportunity to see the effects of Ashlyn but has never been subject to her... quirks.

Oddly enough, Starscream might be one of the few cons that won't shoot first when it comes to Ash. He'll be curious and recognize her from the Power Plant run at the very beginning of the fic, but he's not going to have the same response as say, Makeshift.

Now that is a reunion I'm looking forward to.

*Please consider this response non-canon and purely theoretical to one particular gremlin's hijinks... kinda*

Her time on the Nemesis won't be exactly like that (to JA332 and Makeshift it is) but it would not surprise me if she does become a ghost story in a few centuries. Spread by the murmurs of surviving vehicons, tales of the Spirit of Vengence that swing between questionable mischief and horrifying justice.

That reputation would definitely be cemented by RID; they say if you hold a flame in the dark and say 'fleshbag' three times, something will come to devour the light, spark or fire.

Others say that if one hops twice, claps their servos thrice, spins, and says 'oink,' some ridiculous event will happen in your vessel that will eventually result in good luck.

The original vehicons leave energon in the vents. Their hope isn't to get or lose something. It's for nothing at all. Nothing, because nothing is better than the unknowable something.

Alternative AU (or fully aware Ashlyn) would pull stunts like that for entertainments sake, but current Ashlyn would be more of an accidental terror. Miscommunication terror. You-walked-in-at-the-wrong-time terror.

Not her fault if she sings when she's scared, or if the only song in her head is Hide and Seek, or if she is currently singing it in the vents where her voice carries and whereisthatsoundcomingfrom?!?!?

Not her fault if she's hangery cause no one has fed her.

Not her fault if no one looks up until a human drops from the ceiling and lands on someone's helm during her 5th escape attempt in the last 20 minutes.

Not her fault she doesn't blink when thinking and her fleshy orbs are fixated on that one con.

Not her fault if she's talking out loud, mentally dissecting the plot and possible ways of damaging the ship should leverage be required. If only every other word is understandable, and the overall message is a creative and abstract design involving three separate ways to trigger explosions in the engine room and the likelihood of sweet-talking a sentient ship through life debts, revenge arcs, and programmed directives into supporting a two-person mutiny/takeover than that's the eavesdropper's problem.

Not her fault at all.

Using MegOP to get out of interrogations, driving Soundwave insane, and that brief stint where she ran around covered in energon and blood? Yep. That was her fault.

Ratchet told her never to touch someone's protoform. Should have listened.

If TFP is an unintentional cryptid, and Bayverse is a chaotic menace, then IDW is a feral mess.

Unfortunately, I haven't read any of the canon material. Fortunately, I have read fanfiction.

Let's be honest. She probably snuck on the ship at some point.

I feel like Rung would sniff out that ball of anxiety and bloodthirst like a bloodhound finding peanut butter. Bot would have her in a session within a nanosecond of seeing her out in the wild.

Rodimus would be terrible for his treatment plans. The mech is only spurred on by the human's antics. They're besties. Each other's "scary dog privilege." He appreciates the mischief, Ashlyn respects his goals as a prime, and the fact he isn't giving off weird vibes.

Rodimus is having weird urges. He just doesn't act on them. Shoo strange voices, shoo, nobody got time for you.

Rodimus begins to bring Ashlyn out on missions as a good luck charm. Megatron doesn't know how to feel about the fact that the "charm" is more like a magic eightball with suggestions that teeter between cute and war crimes he wouldn't touch.

Ultra Magnus doesn't know how to reveal that the human statistically works.

Of course, the DJD would notice her. Whether through their spy or some other antics, a lone organic would be eye-catching enough, let alone one insulting them from heel strut to creator.

Nickle is disgusted. Ashlyn tastes the fear and makes Tarn look merciful. Remember how Ashlyn resorted to a little good old psychological warfare to make KO run for the hills and a decontamination bath? It's that time 100.

By the end of it, Kaon wants a new pet and Tarn isn't inclined to say no.

Go for the one person potion, but tackle the person put of the way then brat whoever turned on the trolley in the first place.

But it’s not really a question if Ashlyn is in a trolley situation. She is the trolley problem.

someone bothers Ashley during her Shark week, ......it doesn't end well? Do the bots know about that tid-bit about human females bodies ( otherwise ratchet is going to panic) ?

oooohhhhh boyyyyyyyy; I got plans for this. Mostly of the humorous variety.

The "humanness" aspect of Ashlyn and the kids has kinda been on the back burner for a bit due to some necessary lore, relationship building, etc that's plot-relevant, BUT I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN. The fun will be coming soon

I'm using Ratchet as a little bit of a buffer for the weirdness, Ashlyn, unintentionally, set off a human research-binge early on so the medic has already gone through all the stages of grief and preparedness. That includes period care.

I know some fics have it where a Cybertronian's sense of smell is sensitive enough to pick up blood, but not react to some other orders like sweat for some reason, I don't have that in this fic. If anything, humans are more sensitive than the typical bot. EHem- so there isn't any obvious sign that waves down everyone's attention that Shark Week has begun.

They're not getting out that easy.

Ratchet has an entire robot-sized shelf dedicated to feminine hygiene products, from tampons, cups, and pads (reusable and normal), to pain medication and heating pads. He's even splurged on more just-in-case products. Man is covering all bases.

And he may also be sneaking in the occasional hormone scan for both Ashlyn and Miko, whenever they give him the opportunity for a check up.

That said, there aren't any obvious changes that set off any red-flags. Miko might be a little quieter and more lethargic, and Ashlyn might be quicker to snap between hyperactive antics and silent calm (she might also let that sadistic smile slip a bit more often) but neither are clawing at the walls, bawling their eyes out, or threatening murder. Because they're not stereotypes from the internet, they're real people to who a period is a sucky addition to normalcy.

SO, in the Autobot base, where Ashlyn does have her privacy respected, there really isn't much that is really event worthy. Ratchet, ever observing is ready to step in should anything "get weird" on behalf of both human and bot comfort. Other than a brief reminder via organic consuming organic food, Team Prime has been able to avoid the squishy and alien parts of humanity.

That is not always going to be the case.

Say... a group of aliens vocal about their disregard for the organic population? Perhaps containing an individual recently traumatized about the "grossness" of that populace? A group completely unprepared to deal with the nitty-gritty of care beyond keeping that thing alive? That same group already ticking off an emotionally turbulent individual who is now also dealing with hormone fluctuations, cramps, and cravings?

*cracks knuckles* Now THAT is a Shark Week.

cybertronians aren't aware what Guardians are, are they ?

Not really, no.

Truth, especially historical truths, can be very easily twisted and diluted over time. Partly because of the whole "winners write the history books" but also because there are so many facets to events and people that fade with witness's memories or as generations pass by. Sometimes it's because one piece of the story seems more important, or it serves an agenda, sometimes it's because there's no one left to tell the forgotten pieces, and sometimes it's simply due to improper record keeping that details are lost and stories skewed ever so slightly. And none of this is ever really a constant phenomenon, those alterations occur depending on the situation and the people, so different groups may have different versions of the same story but still miss key or minor details.

Slightly depressing and fascinating, there will always be a foundational truth to history, a fact of what actually happened, but so much of the why, the reasonings, the details of the mundane can be forgotten and left to speculation. You'll never truly know, because you'll never be there and experience it for yourself.

Kudus to the monuments and graves and imprints that people have left behind. Complaints scrawled into books. Building projects dedicated to great loves. Skeletons surrounded by nit-nacks that mattered to the deceased. Faded etchings of names on stone that have lasted where the memory has not. Fragments of lives that we can only speculate on and stories we can only guess at a few chapters of.

Ehem... weird rant aside, the same principle also applies to the Guardians in OT&T. They're a people who hail from the very earliest part of Cybertron's history, a very controversial and secretive piece of it even if they were important. Every bot has a different idea and awareness of what a Guardian is but none of them know the truth of it.

Bulkhead as a construction worker, a laborer, would not have received any education pertaining to Cybertron's history, and as a lower-level mid-classer, there wouldn't be much mingling between higher-level elite or low-class superstition. He knows the basics, Primes are leaders appointed by Primus, but he knows nothing about Guardians.

Bumblebee is a war frame forged during the early days of the conflicts that would become the Great War and was never meant to be anything but an enforcer for the council or a scout. Usually, he would also not know anything beyond the basics, other than an awareness of the vacant High Protector role, but he is aware that mythic beings would be the ones to claim that title through Ratchet.

Arcee, assigned as a caretaker and teacher on pre-war Cybertron is aware of the basics. The Primes, the Council, and the several Lord High Protectors emerging every few centuries alongside a 'false' prime and served as global military commanders. She knows nothing about Guardians.

Ratchet as a doctor catering to the elites, including several politicians, could mingle with such minds and accompanying ideas. Throw in a chatty archivist apprenticed to the great Alpha Trion, and Ratchet arguably knows more than some of the more educated High Caste. He is well aware of the politics involved, of how a legitimized Prime can overturn The Council and supplant them if so desired. He knows that for a prime to legitimize themselves to the stagnant populace is to embody traditional examples provided by the original 13. And that, outside of bearing a prime-only relic, the easiest way for a potential prime to be legitimized is by partnering with a High Protector. A mimicry of the myths of the 13 and their Guardians, a symbol of the modern ideal of guardianship, a Prime must have a Protector. A nod of respect to Cybertron's origins, a mark of strength, and a promise that their leader's spark would extinguish before harm would befall Cybertron. Its a political statement and the Guardians are simply the long forgotten origins of it.

Optimus Prime knows that the Guardians are not a myth, that they existed and were real. He knows they were gifts from Primus. Relics of potential. He knows that High Protector was a singular title for one selected Guardian per prime among the masses. He knows that every true Prime has a Protector, and the Protector could be the key to everything. He does not know where they originate from. He does not know who they are. He did not know they could be children. He does now- He does not know where his promised Guardian is.

Airachnid hails from a heavily organic colony world. Other than being notably pacifist, written off for being beastformers, her people also were heavily superstitious story keepers. Some collected stories of the future, prophecies of the ancients and of their own seers, others cultivated and preserved tales from the past. The tales of ancient revolts and monsters among them. Airachnid nows the Gaurdians as rarities and creatures of great value. She knows stories of them being organics that house silver internals, sparks that burn bright but burn short, prey to be wielded and displayed. She knows a new Guardian has appeared somehow, and she sees a prize worthy of her hunt. A truly endangered species and something to steal from the Prime.

The Vehicons know nothing. Nothing at all about the Guardians, but they're hearing a lot about JA332's "Spawn of Unicron"

Megatron knows that he should have been Optimus' Lord High Protector. An equal and respected leader. He knows stories of Guardians from his time in the pits. Tales he heard alongside retellings of Megatronous' strength and follies. Stories of a long-dead race that rose against the Primes and lost. Of creatures that predacons bowed to, servants that tied themselves to their masters, how a few foolish slaves Guardians stood against the wise and benevolent rule of their superiors, and how a race was wiped out for it. He heard tales that the Cataclysm did not come from the stars but from the scorned. Of slaves driven made and turned into sparkeaters. Of living relics that were trapped and suffered. Megatron knows which stories he believes. He named himself for the Fallen for a reason.

Makeshift, Breakdown, Knockout, and Wheeljack don't know anything and they don't care to know anything more. They've got better things to do, reclaiming their dignity/squishing an organic, getting that new buffer for someone special/working on exposure therapy, providing exposure therapy/showing off their lustrous finish at the races, and tinkering with grenades/regular facetime with Bulk and Miko, like winning a damned war.

Starscream knows the myths, he just doesn't believe them. If he must listen to a sparkling story he would prefer Vosian tales instead.
