🍀. రధసప్తమి, నర్మదా జయంతి, బీష్మాష్టమి శుభాకాంక్షలు - Ratha Saptami, Narmada Jayanti, Bhishma Ashtami Good Wishes to all 🍀 ప్రసాద్ భరద్వాజ 🌹🌻. రథసప్తమి - బీష్మాష్టమి విశిష్టత 🌻🌹 సప్త సప్త మహా సప్త, సప్త ద్వీపా వసుంధరా సప్తార్క పర్ణ మాధాయ సప్తమి రధ సప్తమి ప్రత్యక్ష దైవం సూర్య భగవానుడి జన్మదినమే రథసప్తమి. సూర్యుని గమనం ఏడు గుర్రములు పూన్చిన బంగారు రథం మీద సాగుతుందని వేదము "హిరణ్యయేన సవితారథేన" అని తెలుపుతుంది. సూర్య గమనం ప్రకారం ఉత్తరాయనము, దక్షిణాయనము అని రెండు విధములు. ఆషాఢమాసము నుండి పుష్యమాసము వరకు దక్షిణాయనము. సూర్యరథం దక్షిణాయనంలో దక్షిణ దిశగా పయనిస్తుంది. తరువాత సూర్యుడు మకరరాశి ప్రవేశం ఉత్తరాయన ప్రారంభ సూచకముగా రథసప్తమి అని పేరు వచ్చింది. అందుకే ఈరోజు పవిత్ర దినముగా భావించి భారతీయులు సూర్యుని ఆరాధిస్తారు. "భా" అంటే సూర్యకాంతి, "రతి" అంటే సూర్యుడు, కావున సూర్యుని ఆరాధించువారు అందరూ భారతీయులు. "భారతీ" అంటే వేదమాత. వేదమాత నారాధించు వారును భారతీయులే.

సూర్యగ్రహణతుల్యా సా శుక్లా మాఘస్య సప్తమీ, అరుణొదయవేళాయాం స్నానం తత్ర మహాఫలమ్‌.

మాఘే మాసి సితే పక్షే సప్తమీ కోటిపుణ్యదా, కుర్యాత్ స్నానార్ఘ్యదానాభ్యా మాయురారోగ్యసంపదః.

మాఘ శుద్ధ సప్తమి సూర్య గ్రహణముతో సమానము. ఆ రోజున అరుణోదయ వేళ చేసిన స్నాన, జప, అర్ఘ్యప్రదాన, తర్పణ, దానాదులన్ని అనేక కోట్ల రెట్లు పుణ్య ఫలములను ఆయురారోగ్య సంపదలను ఇచ్చును. సప్తమినాడు షష్ఠి తిథి గూడ యున్నచో షష్ఠీ సప్తమీ తిథుల యోగమునకు పద్మమని పేరు. ఈ యోగము సూర్యుని కత్యంత ప్రీతికరము. ఆ సమయమున ఏడు జిల్లేడు ఆకులను ధరించి నదీ స్నానము చేసినచో ఏడు జన్మములలో చేసిన పాపములు నశిస్తాయని గర్గమహాముని ప్రబోధము. జిల్లేడు ఆకునకు అర్కపత్రమని పేరు. సూర్యునికి "అర్కః" అని పేరు. అందువలన సూర్యునికి జిల్లేడు అంటే మిగుల ప్రీతి. ఏడు జిల్లేడు ఆకులు సప్తాశ్వములకు చిహ్నం మాత్రమే గాక, ఏడు జన్మల్లో చేసిన పాపములను, ఏడు రకములైన వ్యాధులను నశింపజేస్తాయి. ఈ జన్మలోను, జన్మాంతరంలోను (రెండు), మానసిక, వాచిక, శారీరకములు (మూడు), తెలిసిచేసేవి, తెలియకచేసేవి (రెండు) కలిసి మొత్తం ఏడు పాపములు నేడు రోగాలకు కారణములు.

రథసప్తమి నాడు బంగారముతో గాని, వెండితో గాని, రాగితో గాని రథమును చేయించి, కుంకుమాదులు, దీపములతో నలంకరించి అందు ఎర్రని రంగుగల సూర్యుని ప్రతిమ నుంచి, పూజించి, గురువునకు ఆ రథమును దానమీయ వలెను, ఆ రోజు ఉపవాసముండి, సూర్య సంబంధమగు రథోత్సవాది కార్యక్రమములను చూచుచూ కాలక్షేపం చేయాలి. ఇట్లు రథసప్తమీ వ్రతముచే సూర్యభగవానుని అనుగ్రహముచే ఆయురారోగ్యాది సకల సంపదలు కురియునని పురాణప్రబోధము. రథసప్తమి వ్రతము మన సంప్రదాయమున నిలచియుండుట భారతీయతకు చిహ్నము.

🌹.బీష్మాష్టమి విశిష్టత 🌹

ప్రతి సంవత్సరం రథ సప్తమి అనంతరం భీష్మ అష్టమి అనుసరించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఈ పవిత్రమైన రోజున ప్రతి ఒక్కరు మూడు దోసిళ్ల అర్ఘ్యం భీష్మ ప్రీతికి అనుసరించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఈ ప్రక్రియను అందరూ భీష్మ తర్పణం అని అంటారు. ధర్మశాస్త్రం ప్రకారం, భీష్మ తర్పణం, యమ తర్పణం తండ్రి బతికి ఉన్నవారు కూడా చేయాల్సిందే. ఇది ప్రతి ఒక్కరి కర్తవ్యం. ఈరోజున విష్ణుమూర్తికి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేస్తారు.

భీష్మాష్టమి రోజున విష్ణుమూర్తి పూజ అనంతరం ఆవునెయ్యితో పంచహారతి ఇవ్వాలి. దీపారాధనకు తామరవత్తులను వాడాలి. విష్ణుమూర్తి ఆలయాల్లో విష్ణు అష్టోత్తరం, సత్యనారాయణ వ్రతం, బ్రహోత్సవ దర్శనం, లక్ష తులసి పూజ వంటివి నిర్వహించడం ద్వారా మంచి ఫలితాలు వస్తాయని పండితులు చెబుతారు. అలాగే విష్ణు సహస్రనామం, విష్ణు పురాణం, సత్య నారాయణ వ్రత పుస్తకాలను సన్నిహితులకు తాంబూలాలు ఇవ్వాలని పురోహితులు చెబుతున్నారు.

🌻. పాలు పొంగించే విధానం 🌻

సూర్యుని కిరణాలూ పడే చోట..లేదా..తులసిచెట్టు ఉండే దగ్గర ఓ పీటను పెట్టి దాన్ని పసుపుతో శుద్ధి చేసి, ముగ్గులుపెట్టి, సూర్యభగవానుడి ఫోటోను ఉంచాలి. గంధం, కుంకుమతో బొట్టు పెట్టాలి. ఎర్రటి పుష్పాలతో అలంకరించాలి.

ఏడు చిక్కుడు కాయలను తీసుకుని రథంగా తయారుచేసుకోవాలి. ఈ రోజు సూర్యునికి నేతితో దీపం వెలిగించి ఆవు పిడకలను కర్పూరంతో వెలిగించి దానిపై ఇత్తడి పాత్ర ఉంచి ఆవుపాలు, బెల్లం, బియ్యం తో చేసిన పరమాన్నం చేసుకోవాలి. ఈ పరమాన్నం సూర్యునికి ఎంతో ప్రీతి.

తాత్పర్యము : అతని యాతనాదేహమును మండుచున్న కర్రల మధ్య పడవేసి కాల్చుదురు. ఆ దేహము అతనిచే గాని, ఇతరులచే గాని ఖండింప జేసి, ఆ మాంసమును అతనిచే తినిపింతురు.

*25. ādīpanaṁ sva-gātrāṇāṁ veṣṭayitvolmukādibhiḥ *ātma-māṁsādanaṁ kvāpi sva-kṛttaṁ parato 'pi vā*

MEANING : He is placed in the midst of burning pieces of wood, and his limbs are set on fire. In some cases he is made to eat his own flesh or have it eaten by others.

PURPORT : From this verse through the next three verses the description of punishment will be narrated. The first description is that the criminal has to eat his own flesh, burning with fire, or allow others like himself who are present there to eat. In the last great war, people in concentration camps sometimes ate their own stool, so there is no wonder that in the Yamasādana, the abode of Yamarāja, one who had a very enjoyable life eating others' flesh has to eat his own flesh.

*అపుడు నంది, మరియు గుహుడు వేగముగా యుద్దములోనికి ప్రవేవించి అవకాశము లేని విధముగా బాణపరంపరలతో రాక్షసులను ముంచెత్తి సంహరతించిరి (25). తెగ గొట్ట బడిన వారు, చితుక గొట్టబడినవారు, సంహరింపబడిన వారు, నేలగూలిన వారు మరియు భక్షింపబడినవారు అగు రాక్షసులతో ఆ స్తెన్యము అల్లకల్లోలమయ్యెను. స్తెన్యములో విషాదము అలుముకొనెను (26). ఈ తీరున భయంకరాకారుడు ప్రతాపవంతుడు అగు కుమారస్వామి, నంది, వీరభద్రుడు మరియు ఇతర గణములు ఆ యుద్ధములో అధికముగా గర్జించిరి (27). జలంధరుని సేనానాయకులగు నిశుంభ శుంభులు, మహాసురుడగు కాలనేమి మరియు ఇతర రాక్షసులు పరాజయమును పొందిరి (28).

అపుడు సముద్రపుత్రుడు, బలశాలి యగు జలంధరుడు తన సేన చెల్లాచెదరగుటను గాంచి, రెపరెపలాడు తున్న జెండా గల రథముప్తె నెక్కి గణముల వైపునకు వేగముగా వెళ్లెను (29). ఓ వ్యాసా! అపుడు పరాజితులై యున్న రాక్షసులు కూడా గొప్ప ఉత్సాహమును పొంది యుద్ధమునకు సన్నద్ధులై అధికముగా గర్జించిరి (30). నంది, కుమారస్వామి, గజాననుడు, వీరభద్రుడు మొదలుగా గల రుద్రగణములందరు కూడా జయోత్సాహము గలవారై, గర్జించిరి. ఓ మునీ! (31) రెండు సేనలలో గుర్రముల సకిలింపులు, ఏనుగుల ఘీంకారములు, రథముల ధ్వని, శంఖముల ధ్వని, భేరీల ధ్వని, మరియు సింహనాదములు మిన్ను ముట్టెను (32).*

Nandin and Kārttikeya came hurriedly and struck the Daityas m the battle ground with incessant volleys of arrows.

Then the army of the Daityas became agitated and dejected with many Daityas wounded, split, killed, felled to the ground and devoured.

Thus Nandin, Kārttikeya the formidable and valorous, Vīrabhadra and the other Gaṇas roared much in the battle.

Then those two generals of the son of the ocean, Niśumbha and Śumbha, the great Daitya Kālanemi and the other Asuras were defeated.

On seeing the army destroyed, the powerful son of the ocean rushed at the Gaṇas in his chariot of waving and wafting colours.

Thereat even the defeated Daityas became jubilant. O Vyāsa, they roared much and got ready for the fray.

The victorious Gaṇas of Śiva too roared, led by Nandin, Kārttikeya, Gaṇeśa and Vīrabhadara, O sage.

The trumpets of the elephants, the neighing of the horses, the rumbling of the chariots, the sounds of the conches and war-drums and the leonine roars of the armies rose up.

If you have fixed ideas, life is going to create much confusion for you, because life never believes your ideas. It goes on muddling things. It goes on meddling with people. It goes on playing tricks. It is not a drawing room in which you fix your furniture and it remains the same. It is a very wild phenomenon. God is very chaotic. God is not an engineer or an architect, scientist or a mathematician. God is a dreamer, and in a world of dreams, everything is muddled. Your boyfriend suddenly becomes a horse …. In a dream you never argue and never say, "What has happened? Just a moment before you were my boyfriend and now you have become a horse!" In a dream, you accept.

Not even a suspicion about what is happening arises, because in a dream you don't carry your ideas. But while you are awake it will be impossible for you to see that your boyfriend is turning into a horse, And boyfriends many times turn into horses! The face may remain the same but the energy becomes different. Then you feel confused. I have never really come across any person who is confused. Rather I come across people who have fixed ideas. The more fixed the idea, the more confusion there will be. If you want to be unconfused, drop the idea-not that confusion will change, but it will not look like confusion at all.
