ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ Lo'ak, Neteyam and Aonung with a Human!Reader who plays the Guitar
Tumblr media
ᯓ★ just fluff (mention of scars from playing the guitar!!)
LO'AK
Tumblr media
I'd like to think that out of all the siblings, he's the most knowledgeable about human culture. That's why when he found out you played the guitar, he was beaming with excitement.
He would ask so many questions too. Like were you self taught? Is it hard to play? What songs can you do?
If your guitar is decorated with stickers or whatever, he would definitely stare at it like that one meme/audio that goes "woooow 😲"
Also it doesn't matter if you're bad at it or not because just play a few chords and he'll easily think you're the most talented person in the whole world.
He praises you a lot. Like. A LOT.
Play him a song and he'll start fanboying all over the place.
He even once suggested to give your hands massages even though you said that you didn't mind the soreness.
Honestly, he's your #1 fan and he's not afraid to show it.
NETEYAM
Tumblr media
Is a bit confused about what the instrument is but once you explain it to him and how it works. He'll realise how your culture and his are quite similar.
He's intrigued that's for sure.
When you first played it for him, his jaw dropped.
In his opinion, he preferred it if you sing when playing the guitar. He thinks your voice goes smoothly with it.
At first the whole thing started off with you insisting to play for him and asking for his opinion but soon it progresses to him asking you to play for him because he likes it.
He just can't help but admire how your fingers move so efficiently when playing, but his favourite is how focused you look, he finds it adorable.
If you ever write a song about him, he will marry you immediately.
Honestly, he's just happy to have you share your interest with him.
AONUNG
Tumblr media
He thought it was a weapon at first.
When you told him it was for music purposes, he thought you were messing with him. You had to prove it to him by actually playing the thing.
He doesn't have much of an opinion on it since hey, if you're happy, he's happy... just don't scare him by playing so vigorously out of the blue.
When he saw that you had scars from playing, he honestly was confused why you still kept using the thing if it was gonna hurt you.
"You humans are weird"
Even though he says these things, he secretly enjoys listening to you play when you'd think he's minding his own business.
There was this one time you caught him humming the tune of the guitar you've been practising.
He would rather die than admit what you heard was true.
Honestly, he acts like a big hater but he secretly likes it.

word count: 8k

You will learn to love her. He remembered his mother's voice, and he recalled the vast expanse of the sky, where billowing clouds danced gracefully and the wind embraced him with gentle caresses. The sky, like an endless canvas, painted in hues of blue, purple, and gold, held a beauty that stirred his soul.
Instead of roaring waves crashing against the cliffs, he witnessed the majestic flight of ikrans, soaring high above the jagged peaks. Their wings, strong and mighty, carried him through the heavens, as if he were a part of their elegant dance. Gone were the humpbacked sea surfaces, replaced by the boundless freedom of the open sky. The white foam, once adorning the ocean's crown, now transformed into fluffy clouds, resembling intricately woven blankets. It was as if the heavens themselves provided a soft embrace, offering comfort and warmth.
They were little things, nothing really worth mentioning, such as the sun rays tickling his soft skin, or the laughter of his siblings echoing in his memories, not as they played with ilus in the water, but now as they soared alongside him, sharing the pure joy of flight. Even the taste of sea salt, carried on the wind, found a place in this ethereal domain. With closed eyes, he could almost feel a delicate touch of salt upon his lips, a reminder of the distant ocean and the memories it held. He missed those times. Not because he preferred swimming over climbing, or blue over green, that was completely not the case, but because he missed his youth, even from a time when his family sought shelter. He missed being careless, learning new things, having fun, and he would've laughed at his younger self who, even though rarely, complained about the number of duties and responsibilities he had on his shoulders — because nothing could compare to the duties and responsibilities he faced now as Olo'eyktan.
So for once, he liked to lose himself in memories of the sea before he pictured himself back in the sky, on the back of his ikran, where he found a world of wonder, where every little detail became a cherished treasure. The sky had become his limitless playground, an infinite expanse that awakened his spirit and filled his heart with boundless freedom.
He had been incredibly nostalgic ever since his parents had announced the arrangement for him; how overjoyed they had told him that they had found a mate for him, and he guessed it was self-explanatory why a part of him wanted to hold on to his past; not ready to take that further step.
Standing there and observing the preparations and exquisite decorations his people had arranged, he realized that the efforts he had endured for this ceremony were not in vain. The Omatikaya had gone to great lengths to create a magnificent celebration, honoring the union of a new pair; the one of their clan leader. Intricate craftsmanship was displayed in the decorations made from natural materials, the delicate floral arrangements that adorned the surroundings, and the gentle flicker of candles all held meaningful details. However, despite the beauty surrounding him, he couldn't help but yearn for the moment when it would all finally be over.
Five moons ago, he had thought not much of it, he had been convinced he'd find a way out of it, and here he was. Trapped in memories, in the infinity of the skies and seas, here, time stood still, so that eternity could begin, and right here he felt well, he felt safe.
"Bro!" A hand clawed onto his upper arm, abruptly pulling him out of his thoughts, as a breathless Lo'ak stood before him — or rather, hunched over, supporting himself with his other hand on his knees, and breathing deeply, inhaling and exhaling heavily.
"Mawey, brother." Neteyam carefully placed his hand on his brother's head and sought his face, trying to understand the situation. Lo'ak just shook his head hastily, trying to control his breathing.
"Are you okay?" Lo'ak was clearly not okay, yet Neteyam tried to maintain his composure as unpleasant images infiltrated his thoughts, his mind going through any possible worst case scenario. He hoped that nothing had happened to his family, and involuntarily, he felt annoyed that he hadn't seen Tuk and Kiri for a while, worrying about them.
"I got it, I got it." Lo'ak shook his hand off, breathing normally again. "It's.." He took a deep breath before saying it all at once, "It's your mate-to-be."
Neteyam's ears perked up in alarm. Lo'ak, having somewhat calmed his breathing, cringed, now struggling with his words instead. Perhaps he shouldn't have announced this so dramatically in front of his older brother, because he now feared that one problem would become two.
"Yes?" Neteyam patiently but firmly encouraged him to continue. He was suddenly caught in a conflict within himself, wrestling to keep his expression neutral, knowing that it would raise unease among curious ears and attentive watchers.
Apprehensive of his brother's reaction, Lo'ak didn't know how to say it, "Uh, I kinda… please don't be mad at me."
"Spill it, Lo'ak," Neteyam hissed through gritted teeth, now impatient and slightly on edge due to his younger brother's panicking behavior.
He feared the worst now but he didn't want to jump to premature conclusions. Still, something clearly must've happened and he inwardly hoped for her to be alright and safe. Yes, she was a stranger to him whom he had never seen once, but she was soon to become the closest and most important person in his life after all.
Lo'ak's gaze was filled with guilt, when he unsurely admitted, "I, uh… lost… her…?"
And that was it. All the facial features of the otherwise composed clan leader contorted as he looked at his brother in disbelief. Lost her? How do you lose a grown person?
The inner leader within him knew that he immediately had to gather as much information as possible about this situation. Finding her before the ceremony was crucial, and he should coordinate efforts with their best trackers and devise a strategic plan to cover all possible areas she might have gone.
His false, rationalized side tried to reassure him, suggesting that nothing had happened. Perhaps Lo'ak hadn't seen her in the tent, or she had been engrossed in a conversation. Maybe she simply got caught up in preparations and lost track of time. It's not uncommon for delays to happen before important ceremonies.
His emotionally calibrated side couldn't help but worry about her well-being, as well as the well-being of others. What if she had sustained an injury? What if she required assistance? And with a touch of paranoia, he feared something much worse, considering sabotage and abduction.
His reflected psychological side, however, completely dismissed these possibilities, because most likely, his family had intimidated her, and she had gotten cold feet. And if she truly matched him as well as his parents had described, then he could assess her emotional state and he had a feeling where she would be right now.
Ultimately, his strategically valuable side gained the upper hand and decided to embark on the search immediately, knowing exactly where to start.
"What did you tell her?"
Lo'ak looked at him completely lost, "Nothing, really, just that you're Olo'eyktan," he shrugged, "It's not like she didn't know that already."
And once again, he remembered his elders' words, and for the first time, a subtle sense of doubt began to creep into his mind, when he recalled what they had said:
You will learn to love her.
TWO HOURS AGO.
"I must inspect her body." You had expected many things, but not this. You had already come to terms with the idea of never being able to make your own choices again after everything you had experienced in the past couple of hours. And yet, you found yourself taken aback by this one simple sentence.
Five moons ago, you had been sitting in your family's tent in front of your parents when your mother had dropped the announcement that had changed everything. That day, you had been feeling uneasy from the moment you had gotten up, unable to quite place why. But when your mother had revealed the news, it had all become clear, changing everything.
"My daughter, you have been chosen by the Omatikaya to become their Olo'eyktan's mate," your mother had said, beaming with pride.
Immediately, your heart had sunk. While you had heard of the clan, you had remained a foreigner to their lands, unfamiliar with their Olo'eyktan, a man you had never encountered. It had become painfully clear to you that you were not ready to unite in a mating ceremony with a complete stranger, devoid of both familiarity and love.
"Do I have to, mother?" you had asked, your voice shaking with emotion.
"But yes, this is a great honor for our family. You were chosen, out of all the clans, out of all the girls in our clan, to marry Toruk Makto's eldest son," your mother had said, trying to convince you, "It's a sign of respect and trust."
"But what if I don't love him? What if we're not compatible?"
"My daughter," your mother's voice had carried firmness, "you are being unreasonable. This is not about love. It is about the well-being of our clan and the future of our people. Arrangements are part of our traditions for generations, and they have served us well. Your father and I, too, entered into an arranged union, and we have found happiness together."
She had continued, her tone resolute, "He is a commendable man. We have known of him and his achievements since he was but a child. As the successor to his father, he carries the legacy of our shared battles against our enemies." You had remembered all of the stories and tales, about a time before your time, about your father and mother fighting against the skypeople at the side of Toruk Makto. "For he led the clans to victory and if his son has inherited even a fraction of his character, you could not ask for a more suitable companion. He is talented, responsible, a formidable warrior, and an exceptional leader."
Your father had spoken up for the first time. "Your mother is right. The Omatikaya are good people, and their Olo'eyktan is a good man. He will take care of you and you will be happy together."
You had felt like you were suffocating at the realization that your own family had been willing to force you into a loveless marriage just for the sake of tradition, honor, and alliances.
"But what about my own happiness?" your voice had been barely above a whisper.
"Your happiness is important, my daughter," your mother had spoken, "But this is not just about you, you have a duty for our clan. You will become Eykte, and eventually Tsahìk, too, you will grant our clan safety and protection for generations to come."
You had known you weren't going to win this argument, feeling trapped, and so, so helpless. Looking down at your hands, you had been feeling tears welling up in your eyes. You couldn't imagine a life with someone you didn't love.
Your mother had put a hand on your shoulder. "It is okay, you will understand one day. We are doing what is best for you and our clan. Trust us."
But you couldn't have brought yourself to trust them, not after such a betrayal. You had known you had to find a way out of this marriage, but you just hadn't known how. You had looked up at your mother and nodded, pretending to accept your fate. While you had been internally determined to find a way to escape somehow, your mother had smiled at you proudly, and you would probably never forget her following words.
"You will learn to love him."
And now you stood here, in front of the Tsahìk of the Omatikaya — who was so different from the one in your clan — and were forced to undress and be inspected by her; for what purpose, you were not told, but you assumed that the degree of your flawlessness had to be determined and confirmed before you would be presented to the oh-so-great Olo'eyktan. The thought alone made your stomach churn.
"Grandmother, she clearly feels uncomfortable."
"Kiri, you know that it is not me who dictates the rules, for they are woven into the fabric of our existence itself," although her words were thoughtful and calm, her facial expression was anything but. Her gaze bore a sternness that bordered on intimidation, contradicting the tranquility of her voice. "Before the sacred union, both woman and man must embark upon this profound step."
"I don't want to," you said with a determined voice, "No one in our clan does that."
"Well, daughter of a great warrior, you are not in your clan anymore. Starting from today, you are Omatikaya, and you will learn to accept our ways if you want to or not."
A soft cough broke the silence outside the tent, followed by a deep voice asking, "May I enter?"
"Ah, I am too old and weak for such childish affairs," The elderly lady complained before muttering a prayer to herself, clearly at the end of her nerves, and it was more than evident that she was complaining about you and not the man who asked to enter the tent.
"Sure, you can come in," responded the girl standing by your side, who had been your companion throughout the day. Her name was Kiri, and amidst the chaos of the day, she appeared to be the most grounded and relatable person you had encountered; she was clearly the most normal person in this whole clan, that was for sure.
The Tsahìk waved her arms dramatically in the air before clutching her head, expressing dismay, "My days are numbered, and my strength is waning. I cannot keep up with this behavior."
A gruff laughter filled the air as the man stepped into the tent, placing the stack of white fabric on the table before he gently rested a reassuring hand on the elderly lady's shoulder. "Ma dear Tsahìk, you're lookin' healthy and mighty strong, and we're gonna keep you here with us for many cycles to come. No need to worry 'bout a thing, trust me."
"Be careful, jakesully, you begin talking like skypeople again," the woman said bitterly before her stern gaze fixated on you again, "Just where did you find this stubborn girl?"
Both the man and the elderly lady turned their attention towards you. The older woman's expression held a tinge of disgust, while the man offered an apologetic smile, as if trying to reassure you. Silence hung in the air, and without thinking, the words spilled from your lips, words that had plagued your thoughts since stepping foot on this new land that morning.
"Will I be introduced to the Olo'eyktan soon or…?"
The elder dismissed your question with a scoff, shooting a meaningful glance at the tall man beside her as if to say, Do you see what I mean? Instead of providing an answer, she posed a statement, her tone laced with accusation. "She reminds me of you. Is that why you chose her?"
The man shifted his gaze to you, offering an awkward smile before turning back to the Tsahìk. With confidence that appeared to stem from his own conviction, he declared, "She will learn our ways."
You will learn their way.
You will learn to adapt.
You will learn to love him.
The only thing you would eventually learn was to obey.
"Well, she has to learn a lot. That poor soul lacks understanding and respect for our ways and traditions. So far, I'm not convinced she's the right person to lead alongside the Olo'eyktan," the elder remarked, her words heavy with skepticism.
"Ma Jake? Are you here?" Before anyone could respond, a stunning woman entered the tent with grace and elegance, capturing the attention of all present.
"There is so much more to do, and so little time left," the Tsahìk remarked, brushing off the interruption.
The woman gently placed a hand on the elder's shoulder, mirroring the gesture of support shown by the man named jakesully earlier. Her presence exuded confidence and a calming aura, diffusing some of the tension in the room.
"Mother," she spoke in a soothing tone, her voice carrying a hint of authority. "Why are you stressing yourself out? It is a big day for your grandson, and you should take it easy."
Grandson. Your eyes widened almost imperceptibly. The family dynamics suddenly fell into place. It all made sense. You found yourself in a room surrounded by the closest members of your betrothed's family, yet there was no sign of him. His grandmother, his father, his mother, his sister were all present right in front of you.
The Tsahìk sighed and looked up at her daughter, concern etched on her face. "I know, Neytiri. But there is so much at stake, so much to be done," she replied, her voice laden with a sense of responsibility. "As the wisdom of time falls upon me and by the guide of Eywa, it is my duty to examine her physical form before the mating ceremony, and all she does is protest and complain."
Jakesully cleared his voice, "I mean, we cannot force her. If she doesn't—"
"She has to, ma Jake," Neytiri, the graceful woman who had entered, interrupted him with a serious gaze, "And she will." Then she shifted her gaze towards you, her eyes filled with compassion.
Leaning closer to her mother, she said, "You have guided our people for generations, mother. Today, let us handle the preparations while you focus on preserving your strength."
The Tsahìk seemed hesitant to relinquish control, but after a moment of contemplation, she nodded in agreement. "Very well, my daughter. I entrust this responsibility to you and Jakesully. May Eywa guide your actions."
Neytiri smiled warmly, her eyes flickering with gratitude. "Thank you, mother. We will do our best to honor our traditions."
With a sense of relief, the Tsahìk rose from her seat, her weariness momentarily lifted. She turned to you, her stern expression softening ever so slightly. "As for you, young one, understand that our customs are not merely rituals, but a connection to our ancestors and the land that sustains us. Embrace our ways, and you will find your place within our clan."
You met her gaze, a glimmer of kindness in hers as you didn't falter your firm expression whereupon your understanding of tradition began to shift, morphing into a newfound curiosity.
Jakesully stepped forward, his voice resonating with encouragement. "It may seem overwhelming at first, but with time, you will come to understand, trust me."
Neytiri joined his side, her presence radiating strength, "Neither you nor Neteyam are alone in this journey. We will walk beside you, supporting and guiding you every step of the way."
Neteyam. So that was his name. Exactly in that moment, it dawned on you that you had never bothered to ask about his name but so did no one bother to tell you before, as if it was something you should've already known.
"Where is he right now?" you just asked. If the topic of Neteyam had already been mentioned, you didn't want to waste the opportunity. The couple in front of you — his parents — exchanged a brief glance, before you got an answer.
"He is busy with the preparations, but we'll see after him now," Neytiri expressed with a gentle tone and smiled at you. "Kiri will stay here to assist you."
Once again, your question was avoided, and it was becoming increasingly strange. You chose to ignore how one by one, your future family left the tent, leaving you all alone. Kiri had assured you that she would hurry back as she needed to gather some materials. As far as you were concerned, she could take all the time in the world, as it wouldn't change anything about your situation anyway.
"Neteyam." You let the name roll off your tongue, practiced the pronunciation, and let your ears become accustomed to the sound of it. Neteyam. You chuckled to yourself, even though you refused to admit it openly, it was a remarkably beautiful name. At least you had to give him that, you would have a mate with a pretty name. And you could add that to the list of things you knew about him: His name was Neteyam and he was the Olo'eyktan.
You sighed, recalling the conversation with the young man from earlier today. Once you and your brother who took the role as your guardian for today had arrived, this guy had accompanied you through the village, like a personal assistant assigned to you. It seemed as if his main task had been to keep you away from the other villagers, as if you were a disease or plague. Something had seemed off. He hadn't answered many questions, deflecting them instead. And eventually, when the questions became too much for him, he had left you in the caring hands of Kiri and disappeared elsewhere. It had been an interesting encounter with him, for just like Kiri, he possessed an extra finger and hair that gracefully cascaded over his eyes. In retrospect, it dawned upon you that he must surely be a part of the family, and you assumed that Neteyam would likely bear a similar resemblance. Such differences held little concern for you, as they were merely superficial nuances. Before your departure, your friends from your clan had instilled fear within you, weaving tales of demon blood and disfigurement. Yet, you chose to disregard their words, wanting to see for yourself.
Still, the fact that you had not laid eyes upon him and the pervasive silence surrounding his name within the village stirred a faint sense of unease within your core. Could he truly be an outwardly fearsome beast, compelling others to shun him from their thoughts? Or perhaps, he was a cruel leader, commanding such reverence that people dared not utter his name. A sigh escaped your lips, knowing that this enigmatic figure would soon become your better half, your partner in life's journey, and he would be the one to father your offspring. The question lingered, like a whisper in the wind: Could cruelty be inherited, passed down through bloodlines?
At least now you knew your future mate's name.
"…te Suli Neteyam'itan."
"Or y/n'ite," you flinched involuntarily as you heard Kiri's voice when she reentered the tent, and instantly a slight blush crept onto your cheeks, "You know what, kind of eww because he's my brother but it's good that you already think about your children's names," Kiri said smiling smugly.
"I was not—"
"No, I mean it, repeat that in front of my grandmother and she will be head over heels for you." You highly doubted that.
You spent the next hour doing what Kiri instructed, and it wasn't nearly as daunting as you had imagined. The physical examination wasn't a thorough scrutiny of your body. Instead, you were coated in a gentle, liquid healing clay, and it wasn't uncomfortable to have a stranger touch you. Kiri was remarkably professional, but she asked you not to pose distracting questions while she worked. Later, the clay was washed away with water infused with blessings and flower petals, which filled the air with a delightful scent. Once everything was finished, you felt refreshed and rejuvenated, as if reborn. Only then did other people approach you to dress you in exquisite fabrics, feathers, and precious jewelry, and gemstones. The women all appeared kind, but none of them seemed eager to engage in conversation with you. You sat quietly on the mat, your legs folded underneath you, gazing at the wall ahead, as multiple hands adorned you.
As the preparations came to an end, you had still an abundance of questions left, a multitude of them swirling in your mind, and you voiced each and every one of them, undeterred by the avoidance of an answer.
Is he handsome?
Is he kind?
Is he warm?
Cultured?
Artistic?
Athletic?
Strategic?
You persisted in asking, refusing to give up, until you received a satisfactory answer.
"Is he dull? Not very smart? Mentally slow? I can work on those."
However, every response you received was completely off-topic, such as "We can discuss the order of the mating ceremony" or "Our Tsahìk sent over blessings for you to recite during the ceremony..." It was beyond frustrating.
"Is he, like, ugly or something? Maybe he has some kind of physical deformity, but you know, true beauty comes from within anyway and such. Well, not literally from within, but I believe in being a good person and I could deal with it."
At this point, it felt like you were having a one-sided conversation, with question after question piling up like a mountain, and not a single one of them was ever answered sensibly. Instead, you were met with empty platitudes intended to appease you, but it was all in vain: You are going to be an amazing mate, an amazing mother, and an amazing eykte.
Just as you were about to give up, you turned to the young girl who helped you put on some golden beads on your hair, the one that Kiri had referred to as her sister. The youngest Sully child had also joined your company at some point, a truly adorable and vibrant teenage girl whom you had quickly grown fond of. "Can I ask you about your brother?" you feared that the topic was about to be avoided again.
But contrary to your expectation, the younger girl beamed a smile at you and nodded her head in agreement, "Sure, ask away, what do you want to know?"
"What is he like?" You asked your voice filled with curiosity, anticipating her answer and paying attention to her body language.
"I mostly like him, more than Lo'ak at least," the younger girl began venting in a nonchalant tone, "but today I'm so angry at him, he really—"
"Tuktirey!" The stern voice of her mother, Neytiri, suddenly interrupted, causing the girl to look up instantly. The girl fell silent, her eyes wide with attention. "Come help me, please," Neytiri said with a nod towards the forest, before she swiftly exited.
Turning her gaze back to you, a sweet smile still graced her lips. "Don't worry, he's actually the very best," she whispered.
"Tuk!" Neytiri called again, prompting Tuk to rise from her spot.
"I'm sorry, I can't say anything," she hurriedly apologized before rushing towards the tent's exit.
"Tuk, please," you said, reaching out to hold her hand, trying to prevent her from leaving. "Tell me... is he cruel? Is he dumb? I can work with dumb, you know, I just need to know."
Tuk was about to respond when her eyes suddenly widened imperceptibly. You followed her gaze over your shoulder and saw the young man from earlier standing there.
Tuk smiled at you and said, "Did anyone ever tell you how pretty you are? You're going to have wonderful children, I know it." And just like that, she left. Whatever she was about to say, first her mother and now this man had stopped her.
"What is your problem?" you asked, irritation seeping into your voice as you stood up from your place. "We were having a conversation, why did you stop her from talking?"
"I would never do that to my own sister," he replied seriously.
So Kiri, Tuk, and this guy, probably Lo'ak, were all Neteyam's siblings.
"Why are you here?" you inquired, your bad mood getting the better of you.
"I'm here to assist," he answered nonchalantly.
"Okay, then you tell me," you demanded, your voice filled with anticipation. "Tell me about the Olo'eyktan."
A thoughtful pause lingered in the air before the guy responded, his gaze holding a promise of an imminent encounter. "You will meet him soon," he assured you, sensing your yearning for immediate understanding.
"I want to know now," you pressed, a hint of urgency coloring your words.
He let out a weary sigh, acknowledging your eagerness. "He is our clan leader — the clan of the blue flute," he began.
"Yes," you affirmed the initial fragments of knowledge that you already knew.
"He has held the esteemed position of the successor of the former Olo'eyktan since his childhood, as he is the firstborn child," he continued, acting as if it were the most revealing information.
"Yes," you echoed, impatience in your voice.
"And for two cycles of harvest time, he has guided us Omatikaya as our chief," he concluded, underscoring the same repeated information, now for the third time.
"Yes," you mused, the repetition of information giving rise to a discerning observation, one that definitely confirmed your gut feeling. "Okay, so you've told me he is the clan leader, he is Olo'eyktan, the chief of the Omatikaya, the firstborn, and the successor since birth... these are all the same things."
"Yes," he acknowledged, his face looking serious and his voice carrying a hint of nervousness, "but they are all facts."
You stifled an annoyed sigh as everything felt so strange here from the moment you arrived until now. It was baffling that nobody, and absolutely nobody at all, was talking about him. It almost seemed like a conspiracy, leaving you perplexed.
You realized your parents were wrong from the very beginning, and that's when you decided to put an end to it. You refused to stay any longer in this clan, let alone mate with him.
"Excuse me for a moment," You muttered as you tried to pass by Lo'ak, but he positioned himself at the exit in a way that blocked any way out.
"I'm really sorry, but you'll have to stay here until the ceremony," he explained, wearing an awkward smile on his face.
"Sure, but I really need a moment of privacy."
"Yeah, of course, I won't bother you in the tent."
"No, you don't understand," you made one final attempt, but no matter how obvious it seemed, Lo'ak couldn't grasp the situation. He stared at you with a perplexed look as you let out a sigh and concluded your statement, "Nature is calling."
"Oh," his eyes grew wide within a second, "Oh, uh," he stammered, "Yes, um, sure, you can– you can just go over, uh, there," he cleared his throat several times and pointed in two different directions with his hands, a light blush visible on his cheeks, "D-do you know the way? You do, don't you? Should I…?"
"I'll manage, thanks," you gave him a fake smile as you walked past him and headed straight into the forest. Once you were certain that no one was following you, you began to run. Every second counted now, and you had already devised an escape plan. You didn't care about your family or your clan, or the shame it would bring upon them for they had abandoned you anyway. Without a second thought, they had turned their backs on you and your future, so you were ready to do the same. You would rather be alone for the rest of your life than mate with that demon no one dared to talk about.
The soft melody of baby ikrans chirping above you, their cheerful tunes harmonizing with the gentle breeze that rustled the leaves of nearby trees, calmed your nerves a bit. Amidst the serene ambiance, you had fought your way from the woods after running quite a distance from the village, now standing in front of high rocks, your expression reflecting a sense of bewilderment and uncertainty, you looked for a way to climb them up.
Lost in your thoughts, and trying different ways, you remained oblivious to the presence behind you, until a man cleared his throat and approached you.
"Um, are you in need of assistance of some kind?" he asked, his voice gentle and filled with genuine concern.
You startled, letting go of the vines on the rocks for a moment and a flicker of suspicion crossed your eyes as you turned to the person. "Uh, I am quite fine, thank you," you responded annoyedly, your thoughts silently questioning the identity of this stranger. Where did he even come from and why did he bother you? He probably knew who you were given your extravagant looks, but who was he? "You can go back and wait with all the other gawkers for the ceremony."
The man's lips curved into a soft smile when he took a step closer to you, his hands resting calmly behind his back. "I...will. But first, I'm curious, what are you doing?" he inquired, his tone curious and laced with intrigue.
A hint of defiance lingered in your voice as you replied, "Nothing." You struggled to maintain your composure, your words betraying your actions.
"You're doing something," he persisted.
Frustrated, you sighed, "I am not."
With the sound of ikrans shouting above you, a moment of pause settled between you. In that fleeting silence, you decided to reveal your purpose, hoping he'd then mind his business and go away. "If you must know, I'm trying to find out the best way to climb over these rocks."
"Climb... whatever for?" he questioned, genuinely intrigued by your confession.
"Because I think he may be a beast. Or a demon," you revealed muttering to yourself, sarcasm in your voice but also hinting at a hidden fear.
Perplexed, the man who had definitely heard you inquired further, "Who are we talking about?"
"Oh, well, that was actually mean of me," you mumbled to yourself, reminding yourself that the man in front of you was probably loyal to his Olo'eyktan and wouldn't like you talking bad about him. That thought made you find some amusement in your own thoughts before speaking louder, "None of your business."
He gazed at you expectantly, awaiting an honest answer. The stranger didn't seem like someone who would immediately betray your secret — later perhaps — but he could be of use to you right now, maybe he could even confirm or refute your theory.
"The Olo'eyktan," you finally added, your voice softer, "No one will speak of him. No one. He is clearly a beast or a demon."
Realization dawned upon him as he nodded, absorbing your words. "Understood."
You turned your back to him, focusing on the rocks again, and suddenly you had a plan, "You know, if I grab there... yes!" you looked back to him over your shoulder, "You could assist me by lifting me up."
Confusion crept into his expression as he hesitated, contemplating your request. "Uh, one question. You do not like beasts or demons? What he looks like matters?"
You rolled your eyes, "I don't care what he looks like. What I don't like is not knowing. Now, here. Just take a hold here," you instructed, pointing to your waist. "With a lift, I... I believe I can make it over the rocks and to my ikran."
He considered your words, pondering the consequences. "People will notice you are missing, will they not?" he queried, concerned for the potential repercussions.
"I will worry about that later. Now, if you please..." you turned your back to him, still determined to proceed. "I just need a little help. Come. Hurry up."
The man licked his lips, caught in his own contemplation, before taking two slow steps forward. "I have absolutely no intention of helping you," he declared, surprising you with his refusal.
You stopped in your tracks, slowly turning to face him as if you had misheard, giving him the time to correct himself. Your eyes widened in surprise and a bit of anger, too. With sure steps, you approached him, closing the distance between you.
"I'm a woman in need of help. And you refuse?" you confronted him, your voice tinged with disbelief.
The man tilted his head to the side, his expression contemplative. After a moment of thoughtful silence, he responded, his voice carrying a touch of playfulness.
"I refuse when that woman in need of help is trying to go over the rocks so that she does not have to be my mate," he stated, his words hanging in the air, revealing a truth that caught you off guard.
Shock rippled through you, and you gasped softly, feeling as though the air had been caught in your throat. Your eyes locked onto his golden gaze, desperately hoping that you had misinterpreted what he said. But deep down, you knew the truth had found its way to you, settling heavily in your core. It couldn't be... you had seen his siblings, and they didn't possess the distinctive features of the clan. Yet, here he stood, a true Na'vi through and through, without any doubts. He was remarkably handsome, almost too handsome. Yes, you had noticed his striking appearance the moment you laid eyes on him, but then it didn't matter much since he was just a random person, but now, with this revelation, they held significant weight in your thoughts.
He wore a smirk on his lips, a glimmer of mischief dancing in his gaze. He knew.
"Hello, y/n," he approached you, his smile radiant and unmarred by the revelation. As he stopped directly in front of you, he lifted his hand to his forehead, greeting you with a formal gesture. "I'm Neteyam."
The realization dawned on you, and suddenly, the words you had wanted to speak failed to find their way out. Your tongue forgot its purpose as you just stood there, caught between astonishment and uncertainty.
An apology, you thought, your mind searching for the right words to offer at least that.
"I am deeply s..." —orry. Your voice faltered, carried away by the cool wind that brushed past you. The weight of the truth settled upon you, realizing that he was the successor of the former Olo'eyktan, the firstborn of Toruk Makto, your mate-to-be.
"Ma Olo'eyktan," you stammered, attempting to bow in respect, but he intercepted your gesture. His hands gently caught yours, intertwining your fingers in the process, and he lowered your hand in a graceful motion, bringing your hands together. His hand on yours became the focal point of your gaze, while you could hear your heart pounding in your ears.
"Not your Olo'eyktan," he corrected you in a soft-spoken manner, withdrawing his hand. "Neteyam."
You tried to read his face, searching for answers in the depths of his eyes.
"I mean, yes, your Olo'eyktan, but to you, just Neteyam," he clarified jokingly, the sound of his beautiful laugh after made you speechless.
"I am…" you began, but the sentence remained unfinished, your shame preventing you from pronouncing the word 'sorry'. "Please accept my apology. If I had known that you were you—"
He interrupted you, his gaze unwavering. "You would have what? Not told me that you were trying to escape?"
"Well, yes. I mean…" Your words stumbled over each other, attempting to form a coherent defense.
He chuckled, a sound that filled the air around you with warmth.
"I do apologize, ma Olo'eyktan," you said lowering your gaze, your voice a soft admittance.
"Neteyam," he corrected you once again, a gentle reminder. "Just Neteyam."
You nodded, your eyes looking up and meeting his again, the weight of the moment hanging between you. And then, he leaned closer, too close for your liking, and you held your breath when he whispered into your ear.
"The title situation. It towers over us. An accident of birth on my part," a shiver ran down your spine as his warm breath met your skin, "But I thought, maybe, perhaps as my mate, you could ignore it, and I could be just Neteyam to you."
You gazed at him, your heart fluttering with newfound affection. The weight of his words sank in, and you found yourself captivated by the vulnerability he revealed.
"That was, of course, before I found out that you don't want to be my mate," he confessed as he straightened up, and you couldn't ignore the hint of disappointment in his deep voice.
"I didn't say that," you quickly defended yourself, your voice laced with sincerity.
"Oh, you did," he emphasized, now a playful glimmer in his eyes.
"I did not," you insisted, your tone slightly nervous.
"You did," he persisted, his smile widening.
"It is not... mhm. I don't know you," you admitted, your voice growing softer as you laid bare your doubts and reservations.
He stretched his arms out in a dramatic gesture. "I don't know you either," he admitted, his smile ever so wide, "Except that you are terrible at climbing."
You became defensive, a playful spark igniting within you. "You try climbing a wall in all of these," you retorted, gesturing towards your elaborate clothing and jewelry. As you looked up to meet his gaze once more, you found him already watching you, a broad smile adorning his face and a dreamy glint in his eyes. It was a contagious expression that tugged at your lips, and you couldn't help but smile in response.
"What?" you asked softly, your curiosity piqued.
He opened his mouth, then closed it again, contemplating his words. Finally, he spoke, his voice filled with a sincere and gentle admiration. "You are incomparable."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, a blush rising to your cheeks. You remained silent, allowing the warmth of his compliment to wash over you.
He continued, his gaze shifting to the left as he spoke, his words a tender confession. "No one told me you'd be this beautiful. You may be too beautiful to be my mate. People will talk... given I'm a demon."
"Ma Olo'eyktan—" you started, wanting to apologize again, your voice trailing off as he corrected you once more with a playful glint in his eyes.
"Neteyam."
You chuckled softly, your heart opening up to the gentle familiarity of his name, "Neteyam," you said softly, giving in to the connection forming between you. The sound of his name on your tongue felt even more different now that he was standing in front of you, almost comforting in its own way.
The sun began to set behind him, casting a warm glow over the lush landscape of Pandora, and a golden hue around both of your bodies. The air was filled with anticipation, and you could feel the weight of the moment.
"What do you want to know?" he asked all of a sudden.
"What?" you snapped out of your thoughts, momentarily caught off guard.
"You don't know me. What do you want to know about me?" he repeated, his gaze fixed on you.
You didn't expect this question at all. "That is quite, uh…"
"Mm-hmm," he playfully encouraged you to continue, his head tilted to the side.
"Uh…"
He gave you his full attention making you nervous, a smile playing on his lips, his canines peeking out with a small smirk.
You realized that he seemed to enjoy the situation you were in. Gathering your thoughts, you mustered the courage to speak.
"I suppose... everything," you said, your voice gaining confidence. "I want to know everything about you."
He was briefly surprised, the smile disappearing for a second. "All right," he said, clicking his tongue.
"Uh, everything?" he asked to confirm, and you nodded confidently. "I was born prematurely, and everyone thought I was going to die, but I did not. I am a fair shooter, and an even better archer. My favorite food is srakat vey. I will not eat fungus soup, it is horrible. I like flying and hunting and good conversation. Most of all, I like science."
"Science?" you asked, genuine curiosity in your voice.
"Yes, the study of the physical world, especially astronomy. The stars in the heavens," he explained, a spark of enthusiasm igniting within him as he continued. "I'm quite the artisan. Probably would be an artisan if I were not already occupied."
Pointing to his scar above his chest, he added, "I have a scar here from falling off my ikran."
"Really?" you asked, surprised at the revelation. He didn't seem to be the type to have experienced such a simple accident.
"Either that or skypeople were the cause, it's long ago," he replied hinting at the mystery, and by the way he said that you were sure that skypeople were the cause of his scar, and he knew that you came to the conclusion as well, almost wanting you to see through him.
He then pointed at his hand. "A scar here from just being incredibly clumsy with a hunting knife as we were kids." As your eyes focused on his perfect hands, he met your gaze again, and the silent connection deepened.
"And I'm very nervous," he chuckled, "about mating with a girl I'm only just meeting minutes before our ceremony."
You were left speechless, absorbing the honesty and vulnerability he shared. Nodding understandingly, you appreciated his nobility. "But I cannot show it and climb over rocks and fly away with my ikran because I am Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya, and that would cause a scandal. But I promise you, I am neither a demon nor a beast," he reassured, his eyes ever so dreamily locked with yours. "Just Neteyam."
Long, intense eye contact held between you, the unspoken emotions weaving a tapestry of unexplored possibilities. Before you could process the moment, your brother appeared out of nowhere, breaking the trance,
"Sister, we have been looking everywhere for you. What are you—" he stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening in awe as he recognized Neteyam. "Ma... ma Olo'eyktan," he greeted respectfully, bowing even.
Neteyam approached your brother and greeted him back. "You must be the man responsible for my possible future happiness."
"Sure. Um, my apologies. Yes. No—" your brother stumbled, caught off guard by the unexpected encounter.
"Well, you have arrived at the most opportune moment. She was just deciding..." his words trailed off as his eyes met yours, a mischievous smile dancing on his lips, "whether or not she wanted to be my mate."
A rush of heat flushed your cheeks, feeling exposed and vulnerable under the scrutiny of both Neteyam and your brother. You watched as the realization sank in, causing your brother's expression to shift from surprise to concern.
"Oh, she is overjoyed to become—" your brother tried to speak, but Neteyam interjected, his voice calm and measured.
"No, she's still deciding. She might go over the rocks instead. Either way, the choice is entirely up to her." The corners of Neteyam's lips curled into a gentle smile, his words reassuring and respectful.
Your heart swelled with awe. The weight of the decision had suddenly become lighter, knowing that Neteyam understood the importance of autonomy, and that he was willing to accept any outcome as long as you were the one making that decision on your own.
Your brother forced a smile, his eyes reflecting a complex blend of emotions. Perhaps he recognized the sincerity in Neteyam's words, or maybe he understood the significance of your journey toward happiness, whatever it was, he kept quiet.
Neteyam broke the silence, his voice filled with a determination worthy of a leader, and a pinch of amusement, "Now, I should get back because I suspect that by now there are some very anxious warriors who think I am kidnapped."
He stepped closer, taking your hand in his, his delicate touch sending a jolt of electricity through your body. Excitement emanated from him as he leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of your hand.
He said your name with so much passion, you were almost hypnotized by him, his breath warm against your skin. "I hope I see you there." He lingered for a moment, his eyes locked with yours, a silent promise of a future yet to unfold.
With a nod and a soft smile, he released your hand and turned to leave, but then he paused and turned back, "And if so, I am the one standing between Tsahìk and Toruk Makto."
You smiled. He smiled.
His eyes met yours for the last time, and in that gaze, you found a reflection of your own desires and hopes. And then he started fading into the distance. The weight of his departure settled upon you, you were left standing there, your hand still tingling from the touch of his lips. The intensity of his presence lingered in the air, and you found yourself lost in a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts.
Your brother rushed to your side, concern etched on his face. "Don't tell me you are still hesitating," he said, his voice filled with worry and impatience.
With the setting sun as a witness, you just looked at him, a newfound sense of clarity shining in your eyes.
Well, maybe this wasn't that bad after all.

Jake’s Advice 💪
Tumblr media
Neteyam x Metkayina!Fem!Reader
Warnings: Neteyam being stupid & has a crush, Jake has ok dad advice, Neteyam not knowing Earth terms/phrases, Y/N is Ronal & Tonowari’s kid, Y/N isn’t actually in this - she’s just talked ab
Summary: Neteyam musters up confidence to ask his dad for advice on how to win over a girl after struggling and embarrassing himself.
NETEYAM PEERED INTO THE marui, his shadow casting over his father. He sat on the floor with his back towards his son, methodically cutting fruit. Jake’s ears twitched towards the sound of Neteyam’s footsteps. Jake didn’t bother to turn to him.
“What is it now?” Jake mumbled, laying the knife down, as Neteyam sat in front of him.
A beat passed.
“Dad, I need your help.”
Jake pressed his eyes closed. His lips pressed into a thin line when he sighed, “What happened? I told you to keep an eye on your brother —,”
Neteyam frantically shook his head, “No, Dad, he didn’t do anything.”
“… oh,” Jake blinked. “Well, that makes things a little easier. What is it?”
He rubbed the corner of his eye, fingers slowly traveling up to his temple. His ears flattened with embarrassment, as his eyes darted across the floor.
“I, uh…,” Neteyam paused with a sheepish smile. He propped his elbow on his thigh, as he leaned the side of his face into his palm.
Jake eyed his son suspiciously, observing the dazed far-off look on Neteyam’s face, the way his tail seemed to wag like a dog’s. He furrowed his brows, “Spit it out.”
“Well…,” Neteyam sat up straighter, hands now sitting on top of his knees. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure,” Jake replied bluntly.
“How did you make Mom like you?”
Jake scoffed, “She doesn’t. She just gave up trying to get rid of me.” Jake watched Neteyam awkwardly nod at his words.
He then realized where this was going, and his soul almost left his body.
The painful teenage conversation he prayed to avoid. Jake lightly hit his head, mumbling, “I’m joking.”
“Right,” Neteyam muttered. “Then… what did you do?”
“I went to the Tree of Voices.”
Neteyam winced, a disgusted expression creasing on his features, “No, Dad—,”
Jake raised his brows, blinking dumbly. Judging by that reaction — “Who told you about that?” Jake pressed, surprised.
Neteyam stuttered, “Uh — I, um,”
“Whatever, doesn’t matter,” Jake waved his hand dismissively. He mentally noted to hunt down all his teenagers later for a quick chat. He sighed, “Just tell me what this is all about.”
Neteyam swallowed, “I like someone?”
Jake couldn’t help flinching and immediately shutting his eyes at the inquisitive statement. His calloused fingers rubbed the top of his flat nose bridge, taking in a deep inhale, “Is that a question?”
“No?” Neteyam shook his head. He repeated the word more affirmably, “No.”
“…Who is it?” Jake uttered exasperatedly.
Neteyam flinched at the tiredness in his voice, his father’s yellow eyes boring into his. He nervously licked his lips, his gaze falling upon the floor, when he practically whispered, “Y/N.”
“Oh God.”
Neteyam looked at him, tilting his head, “Who?”
He ignored him, rubbing his eyelids. “Are you sure?” Jake inquired, repeating the name, “Y/N? Y/N, the chief’s kid?”
“Who else…?”
“That girl’s tough as nails,” he mumbled.
Neteyam blinked, “I don’t know what that means.”
“You — whatever, I’ll explain it later,” Jake paused. “You came here to ask me how to ask a girl out?”
He shrugged, “Yeah but…”
“But what?”
“I messed up.”
Jake’s eye twitched. It was more common to hear those words from his younger son, but it still stung nonetheless. “What do you mean ‘messed up’?” He asked carefully.
“Well… uh, I thought I could mimic the underwater dances Tsireya was showing us,” Neteyam awkwardly chuckled, nervously adjusting his armband. He looked up at his dad. Jake was amused to see his stoic son so flustered and worked up. “I didn’t do it… I didn’t do it right.”
Jake laughed, and Neteyam was bewildered.
“Dad —,”
The calloused pale blue pads of Jake’s hand pressed themself against the crown of Neteyam’s head, a meek attempt of fatherly comfort. Jake sighs lightheartedly, shaking Neteyam’s head, “I’m sure, if anything, she found it funny. You’re gonna have a harder time if you always take yourself seriously.”
“But she didn’t laugh,” Neteyam explained. There was a wave of sudden distress washing over his body. His striped tail slowly flickered from side to side, as he picked at his nails. “She just looked at me and did the finger-talk.”
“Neteyam, you’re fine,” Jake tossed the cut slices into a nearby wooden bowl. He picked up his small knife, resumed cutting the leftover fruit. “You know what she said?” He asked with a quick glance. Neteyam shook his head, and Jake continued, “You need to practice sign language more then.”
Neteyam rolled his eyes, “Dad,” he mumbled with slight irritation.
“What? You don’t know what she said, but you’re supposed to learn how to understand. Simple as that,” Jake shrugged. He wiped sweat off of his brow, the heat and humidity in the hut suddenly overbearing. “I don’t know what you want me to tell you, kid.”
“How do I make her like me?” Neteyam had asked it with the teenage theatrics Jake recalled from Kiri and Lo’ak. His son’s elbows were propped on his folded legs, his slender hands clasped together like he usually did in old clan meetings.
Jake raised his brows. His thin lips were evidently entertained by Neteyam’s anxiety, as they curved into teasing smile. Jake shrugged again, replying half-jokingly, “You’re the son of Toruk Makto and are an exceptional warrior, I’m sure she’s already very impressed.”
“It takes more than skill to win a girl over,” Neteyam groaned, finding the conversation hard to live through. He rubbed his eyelids til there were colorful spots in his vision.
“You telling me?” Jake laughed, raising his empty hand defensively. Once his laughter died down, he cleared his throat, his ears twitching at the top of his head, as Jake fell into thought. “Girls don’t just like brawn, you need to be smart too, son. Be compassionate, observant, witty — be more like your sisters.”
“Dad!”
“You ask me for advice, and all I get is judgment. What do you want from me?” Jake scratched his head. He sighed through his nose, “Here’s what you’re gonna do: you need to make it clear that you like her. Give her compliments, make her gifts, whatever. Fight for her — okay, not actually fight, but you know what I’m saying?”
Neteyam nodded timidly. He listened closely on the little guidance his father offered, digging his nail into a scab. Jake resumed speaking, “Don’t be so easily discouraged, but don’t do what I did. You can be stupid, you can be head over heels in love, but don’t be annoying.”
Neteyam’s eyes narrowed with puzzlement. He spoke up, clearing his voice with a soft cough, “Isn’t it annoying when someone doesn’t give up though?”
“Oh, she’ll cave eventually. That’s one thing I can assure you, son.” He repeated wisely, “Eventually. If it worked for me, it’ll work for you, I’m sure.”
“And… if it doesn’t?”
“Don’t come home.”

Tumblr media
The day Neteyam met Y/n, was unlike any other.
Feeling fear for his family's safety amongst a clan he heard very little about, Neteyam felt out of place. Being stripped of everything he knew growing up he felt utterly bare as the dreadful feeling weighed down on his shoulders greatly. Neteyam’s eyes wandered aimlessly amongst the new clan his family seeked refuge upon.
The nagging feeling of being watched, of being analyzed so critically set an unsettling feeling deep within his stomach. If he could, Neteyam would cover his family from the harsh glares the onlookers sent their way. It didn't help when two boys around their age came up towards them mocking their apperence, specifically Neteyam’s appearance.
He felt uneasy as they commented on their physique, the difference between them. Every fiber in his body stood to respond back, to put them in their place for blatantly disrespecting his family in such an outlandish way. But before he could utter a single word, an angel appeared.
At least that's what he thought when she graciously walked through the crowd soundlessly. The crowd seemed to move around her, giving her space to walk through them. Like her presence alone demanded respect. She held herself proudly, her beautiful curly locks falling past her shoulders as they swayed along with her steps. She sent a quick smack to the shorter boy before hissing their names in warning. When she turned to him, Neteyam felt the wind being knocked out of him.
Staring at him out of curiosity were beautiful e/c hues, the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen. They didn't stare at him in fear or disgust, but in curiosity and concern. He could feel himself clam down under her stare alone, his shoulders relaxing significantly as they made eye contact. Her face was adorned with white freckles and markings that seem to only enhance her beauty, a beautifully crafted necklace hanging around her neck. The small smile she sent his way only increased the fluttery feeling in him, his palms began to sweat as he shakily reached up to greet her. Thankfully she returned it easily, a smile formed on her face. Before Neteyam could savor the small moment the chief flew over them, demanding attention.
When Neteyam caught his little brother openly gawking at another female who walked up to his angel, he knew they were special. Both girls watched him and his family with kind and sincere smiles. They made his heart feel a little lighter, she made him feel lighter.
After both girls showed his family their new home and Neteyam could have sworn she was the definition of perfection. The way she graciously walked and showed them their home, the way she held herself just expressed elegance and poise. She was respectively polite to his family, her eyes warm with sincerity. She had a charm about her that Neteyam couldn't help but be attracted to. She was a textbook of what a princess would be, a word he heard his father use towards his sisters.
Neteyam was quite shocked to find out she wasn't the chief's daughter, but the older sister to the shorter male, Rotxo, who was his siblings diving instructor. She was being trained as a Tsahìk under Ronal as she showed great promise, Neteyam had found out after asking about her from Tsireya.
It came with great disappointment when he realized she wouldn't be helping them with their lessons as they desperately tried to adapt to the sea. But luckily, the disappointment didn't last long.
“How are the Numeyu’s??” (Students) Y/n asks teasingly, taking a seat in between her brother and Neteyam as they were in the middle of breathing exercises. Neteyam immediately sat up straighter in her presence, he hadn't even heard her footsteps when she snuck up on them. She would make for a great hunter, but she didn't seem to have that air about her. She seemed so calm, so quiet. She didn't seem to have it in her to even hurt a fly.
“Great! Neteyam and Kiri are doing exceptionally well” Rotxo praises, his eyes traveling to Kiri who looks away. The small purple hue along her cheeks going unnoticed. Y/n’s ears perk up at her brother's words.
Rotxo was one of the best free diver instructors they had around their age group. His praise meant alot. Especially to Y/n, who held her younger brother on a high pedestal. She turns to Neteyam whose eyes were already trained on her, a smug smile twitching along his lips.
“Oh? That's impressive” Y/n notes, grinning at the boy who she grew close with over the past few weeks. Neteyam and Y/n immediately hit it off, though they barely had interactions as Y/n was always busy shadowing Ronal, the moments they did share only made them realize their similarities. Being the eldest and holding many responsibilities on their shoulders. They bonded over the matter, growing quite close.
With Neteyam and Y/n always teasing each other, almost bordering that of flirting.
“Guess I'm a quick learner” Neteyam offers, a cheeky smile breaking through. Y/n tilts her head back as a silvery laugh escapes her lips. Neteyam’s eyes widened at the sound, a sound he swore he would burn deep into his soul.
“That's good to hear, I guess you won't be needing my expertise?” she teases, her eyes crinkling in delight. Neteyam quickly shakes his head. He didn’t want her to think she wasn’t needed.
“N-No! I mean, we’ll still need your h-help. We have a lot to learn” Neteyam stutters out. He didn't know what it was about her that always left him a stuttering and embarrassed mess. He ignores the giggles that erupt around him at his hurried response. Y/n simply smiles, a smile that rivaled the sun itself in Neteyam’s eyes.
“I guess I will stay after all, Forest Boy” she teases, sending a small wink.
Truth be told the nickname had bothered Neteyam at first, he didn't like being called that especially by Ao’nung. But whenever it came from Y/n’s lips it sounded endearing, almost heavenly.
It didn't take long for Y/n to tag along during lessons often, always offering helpful advice that aided the Sully’s. She also grew very close with all the siblings, immediately clicking with Kiri. The girls could go on and on about the beauty the nature around them offered. Kiri always shared stories of their home as well as herbs and remedies they used. Y/n always seemed eager to learn more, showing Kiri some of the techniques they would use here.
The bond she grew with Tuk only caused Neteyam to fall deeper in love with her. Always watching the duo from afar with a lovesick expression. Tuk adorned her, claiming to become like her as she grew up. Neteyam couldn't help but start having fantasies about what it would be like to have a family with her. She seemed to love children, a motherly aura radiating off her.
Neteyam’s feelings for Y/n would only grow, the female Na’vi proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
~~~~~
It had been like any other day, Neteyam set off early to sneak in some extra practice with his Iiu as he wanted to impress a certain h/c Na’vi. Just as he was about to call it a day the sound of arguing catches his attention as he races to shore. A specific voice stood out as he recognized it immediately which only pushed him to walk faster.
Lo’ak.
Tumblr media
Neteyam stomps towards the group noting how Kiri stood to the side, her arms crossed over as if to cover herself. The group had circled Lo’ak, pulling and prodding at him. Neteyam rushes in, shoving Ao’nung off his brother with force. He creates distance between them and his siblings, his glare unwavering.
“You heard what she said-'' Neteyam growls, his eyes solely on Ao’nung who steps back. “-leave them alone”.
The commotion had gotten the attention of some Na’vi nearby, specifically a certain female Na’vi who rushed towards them in a hurry.
“Back off…..Now” Neteyam presses his finger against Ao’nnung’s chest, pushing him back. He ignores the attempt his friends takes as Ao’nung silenced him by raising his hand. He had a smug smirk on his lips but chose not to retaliate against Neteyam.
 “Smart choice” Neteyam acknowledges. His ears twitched to the sound of hurried footsteps, turning to see Y/n, her face flush with color as she ran towards the group. She stops in front of them, her eyes darting between Ao’nung and Neteyam.
Neteyam glances back at his sister who looked to the ground in sadness. He felt his anger bubble inside of him as he turned back to the group. “And I need you to respect my sister” he adds, dismissing the hiss that is sent his way. He looks at Y/n who had an apologetic frown on her face. Netreyam nods at her, his lips forming in a thin line. He pulls Lo’ak with him so they could leave.
“Ao’nung, you skxawng!!” Y/n hisses, stopping the Sully’s who stare at her in surprise. Y/n was always collected, calm and kind. The venom that dripped from her tone alarmed them all. Ao’nung seemed like the only one unfazed.
“What will your father say! This is low, even for you.” she hisses, taking a step towards Ao’nung who scoffs at her words. He keeps his mouth shut, his eyes glancing at Lo’ak. He sends a mocking smile that seems to rile the younger Sully who pulls away from his brother's hold. Neteyam goes to pull him back but he's already walking back to the group.
“What would Rotxo think? Yaymak ‘evan!!” (Foolish boy) The girl hisses, her tail swishing behind her angrily, thumping against the sand. Her e/c eyes scan over the friends, her disappointment evident as she hisses in anger. Ao’nung huffs in annoyance, shrugging it off. He smirks wide as Lo’ak walks closer to them.
“So? Why would I care? That's what they are, isn't it? They’re freaks, the whole family”
What happened next no one present would ever believe, not in a million years. Y/n’s hand juts out landing a powerful punch square against Ao’nung’s jaw. A sickening crack is heard as her clenched fist collides with him. Ao’nung stumbles back, his eyes dazed as if he didnt know what had hit him. Y/n quickly follows it by landing a swift kick against his stomach sending him tumbling against his friends as they all fall against the sandy floor beneath them.
“Watch. Your. Mouth.” Y/n huffs out, her eyes burning with anger as she clenches her fist. The friends get up, snarling as they  lunge after her. Lo’ak quickly joins in, landing a punch of his own on one of the male Na’vi who hisses at him. Y/n gets roughly tackled onto the floor but she is quick to recover as she flips Ao’nung over straddling his hips. He struggles under her as she punches him, holding one of his arms back not to land anything on her.
“Neteyam! Help them!” Kiri yells hysterically, turning to her brother.
Neteyam stood frozen in his spot, his eyes wide as he watched in pure amazement. All he could focus on was the drastic change he witnessed in Y/n. Someone he thought was too elegant, get violent. Violent to the point she punched Ao’nung and was able to take on the rest with ease. All to protect his family's honor.
Neteyam’s mouth hung low as shock washes over him, his eyes following how Y/n had now moved onto the other Na’vi. He drank in how she elegantly avoided getting hit but landing her own hits with brutal force. She looked fierce and strong. She reminded him of his mother, beautiful yet deadly. Words that his father had used to describe his mother ringing through his head as he finally understands its full meaning. Y/n was a complete-
“-Badass'' Neteyam whispers.
He finally understood what it meant, she was the definition of intimidating. Every hit was calculated and precise. That of a skilled fighter. Neteyam was in awe, and if he thought he couldn't grow to love her more, boy was he wrong.
It is only when Lo’ak screams in pain is he finally brought back to reality.
Neteyam quickly runs back to the group, pushing the Na’vi who tried to choke his brother. As he lands a kick on his stomach he slides right up against Y/n, who is smirking at him. The butterflies in his stomach increase at their close proximity. She looked utterly beautiful with her hair disarray, heavy breaths racking through her body.
It was at this moment Neteyam realized he had met his match, his perfect match.
“Show me what you got, Forest Boy”
It felt like you had been carrying thousand pound rocks on your back as you carried your drunken husband through the forest. You couldn’t see much and you were only trying to get back to your shared cave. Neteyam was heavy on his feet due to his drowsiness and of course was much more heavy then you.
Neteyam never got drunk, really. Tonight was the celebration for his parents anniversary and he only let loose this one time. You had a few drinks yourself but you knew he’d end up like this so you paced yourself while he downed drinks like they were plain water.
You on the other hand, we’re also busy worrying about your daughter who was staying with your parents since Neteyam had completely shit faced himself. You trusted your mother with your life but you hated when your daughter was away from the two of you, without being in arms reach of her was something that made your skin crawl.
You had just barely made it once you reached the entrance to your cave and practically pushed Neteyam onto your hammock with a huff. He was laughing but you of course were not, being as you just carried him across the forest. You made your way over to where you kept the food you had stored and pulled a few things out of the basket, things that would make him some what full to hopefully sober him up a little.
You of course, wanted to go to sleep but Neteyam was never that easy when he was drunk. He’s far too touchy for you to even close your eyes without him doing something to wake you up. You poured juice into a small cup and set it on the stone ledge, along with the fruits you were cutting for him to eat, but like always, that wouldn’t last long.
His giant arms snaked around your small frame from behind you and his warm body pressed up against yours, you could already feel the growing erection under his loincloth. He didn’t say anything, only leaning his head down to place sweet kisses to your neck as you continued to cut fruit.
“Go sit down, baby. I’m making you some food” Your free hand reaches back to touch his head but he only hums in response, continuing his movements from before. “Neteyam, please just eat this for me?” You turn to him once your finished and he’s already looking at you with those half lidded eyes, making your stomach explode with butterflies like you hadn’t seen it before. “Please?”
A smirk pulls at his lips as he walks toward you, pulling your body against his and capturing your lips in a passionate kiss. His touch was hungry against your skin, fingertips hard against your waist to hold you steady. You gave into him for a small second before pulling away, placing your finger over his lips.
“Eat this and you can get all the kisses you want, Okay?” He huffs but takes the plate from you, sitting down on the freshly loom-made chair you had just added to your home. You walk over to where you put your basket of clothes by your hammock, opening it to pull out a new top to fall asleep in since the one you had on was merely for celebrations and quite uncomfortable.
You unclip the straps of the top you had on and let it fall to the ground, working to strap on the new and looser one you pulled out from the basket. After changing your top, you looked for a loincloth to slip into that also was loose, your tired eyes becoming far too lidded to think about anything other then sleep.
Just before you could slip into a new loincloth, the hungry hands your boyfriend possessed pulled you back, turning your body to face him all in under a second. You gasped at the sudden movement, realizing he had pulled you onto his lap while he sat in the chair. “Nete, I barely have clothes o-“ Once again, he cut you off with a passionate kiss to your lips, wrapping his hand gently around your throat.
Of course you gave in under his grasp like you always did, his lips tasted of the fruit you had given him before and it only drew you more in then you had been already.
But as soon as you felt his tongue slip past your lips, you quickly pulled away.
“Not tonight, Tey. Your drunk” You try to reason but he isn’t listening. The two of you had already talked about things like this and you knew sober him wouldn’t care if you had sex, but you still didn’t know if you were completely sure about that. “Let’s just go to sleep-“
“You said as many kisses as I want, didn’t you?” He raises an eyebrow while mocking your words, reaching up to stroke your hair with his gentle fingertips. “Looked so beautiful tonight, can’t believe your all mine” His strong arms pull you close to him so his face stuffed between the crook of your neck, taking in your sweet smell through his nose.
Your cheeks grow hot as you watch his tail sway from side to side, his face nuzzling against your body like a cat would do to its owner. You giggled at his movements but he didn’t care, only continuing his actions from before. Your hands combed his braids with care, twisting them around your fingers as you hug his head close to you. Neteyam was always touchy when he was drunk. He needed to be under your skin, only able to smell your scent as he slept.
“Neteyam!” Your body jolts at the sudden sensation between your legs, his hand that was once laid on your back, was pressed against your cunt. “Tey, I don’t need-“ His lips are practically attacking your neck with the most passionate and wet kisses you could imagine, a sigh leaving your mouth as you felt the pleasure fill areas you shouldn’t have. When Neteyam was drunk, he gets extremely horny and practically will eat you alive if you don’t give yourself to him. For some reason your mate hormones are much worse when he’s intoxicated.
He didn’t even need you to please him, he only ever wanted to please you. It was weird because you’d think it was the other way around but not with your husband. His thumb was pressing against your clit with care, rubbing circles to it while his tongue glides against your skin. His lips brush your ear softly before taking its lobe between his teeth, gently pulling it with a chuckle. “So easy, My love” Your ears flick at his hot breath against you, watching as he pulled his fingers back up between your faces to show you the mess you left covering them.
You watch as he slips his fingers into his mouth one at a time, cleaning them from your sweet slick. His free arm snakes around your waist swiftly, and his face leans up to meet your own in a sweet kiss, leaning his large body against your own to guide you to lay on your back to which you quickly oblige.
“Good girl” He praises with a smirk, trailing kisses down your neck till he got to your chest piece. “Let’s get this out of the way, yeah?” You hum, pushing his hair out of his face as he unclips the piece of clothing, eyes gluing to your chest. “You are so breathtakingly beautiful, Syulang. So beautiful” A small laugh leaves your mouth as your cheeks flush at his repeated and slurred soft words and a moan coaxes your throat as he swirls his tongue around your hardened nipple, kneading the other one between his fingers.
When you and Neteyam first started dating, you were so insecure about your body for months but now? You didn’t have time to be insecure because Neteyam quite literally worshiped your body. He’d place kisses on every spot you hated, and remind you constantly throughout the days how beautiful you looked, especially when you woke up in the morning. He made sure to remind you hourly.
“Always getting what you want, huh?” You huff as he pulls away from your chest with a chuckle, and moving down your bare body. His big hands cup under your thighs and push your legs apart, bending your knees back so your heels were laying against his shoulders. His eyes were strained to yours as his thumb circled your clit, watching your face twist in pleasure. It was a guilty pleasure of yours, honestly. Neteyam went down on you almost everytime you had been stressed or angry, and you love every second his mouth is attached to your forbidden area. He knew your body inside and out, and it was practically impossible for him to contain himself.
A small but quiet gasp catches in your throat abruptly and you let your head quickly fall back, Neteyam’s eyes still set on you while he sunk his middle finger inside you with ease. “Thought you didn’t need it?” He teases but your too in awe to care, pulling your bottom lip between your teeth.
“Stop being a tease, Neteyam” you tell him seriously, a smirk pulling at his lips once his full name left your mouth. His face lowered toward your center, curling his finger against the soft walls of your insides as the tip of his tongue touched your clit gently. “Come on, Tey” Your hand is already on its way to his head before you could realize, and you let your fingers roam his braids.
He didn’t know if it was just the alcohol or something but you looked so pretty in this light. Of course you always did, but something about tonight was different. You were impatient and whining like a brat but he loved it, he loved making you suffer knowing he was going to make up for it by the end of the night with you under him, begging for more of him.
You let out a semi loud moan once his lips closed around your clit, another one of his fingers slipping into you unannounced. “Fuck, Tey” Random curse words were leaving your mouth just to help silence your horribly loud moans, holding your husbands head close to your body as he devoured every last bit of you. To say you where in love with him was an understatement.
His long fingers were just enough to brush your cervix and Neteyam always took advantage of that, gently pushing you over the edge till you had been trembling under him. He sucked harshly against your clit as your heels dug against his shoulders, choked out moans escaping past your lips.
Your sweet sounds were music to his ears and he couldn’t help but grind himself against the mat under him, his free hand palming his still growing erection. Your hips wind against his face without your control but he doesn’t mind it, it only made him harder watching you struggle the way you were.
“Teyam… Tsaheylu!” You beg your mate to make the bond, pulling your queue to sit against your stomach. He reached behind him and pulled his own without stopping the degrading movement he had against your cunt, letting you do the rest in connecting the two of you.
Your pleasure fills his own body hot and fast, and Neteyam found himself palming himself harder then before, speeding up his movements against you. He wanted to take his time but you both knew drunken sex was a fast experience out of pure lust, you wouldn’t even know you were done till you laid atop his chest at the end of the night.
“Neteyam…!” His name rolls off your tongue with ease since you don’t hold back, fingers clasping around his braids as your back pushed off the floor mat, crying out to your overstimulated clit while you continued to release against him. Neteyam was flush against you, not pulling away until he was sure he had enough of your sweet taste.
Finally, he lifts his head and pulls his fingers from you, watching as your release drip down them with a chuckle. “Your bad, peach” Your able to see his full face now and you can’t help but giggle, watching closely as he hovered back over you.
“Maybe you would look good with a beard” You tease, wiping off the remaining release on his chin and around his mouth. You lean up to his lips, brushing them against your own. You could feel his heart beating out of his chest as you move to his ear, letting your hand travel down between the two of you. His eyes widened once your hand wrapped around his painfully hard cock, practically holding back a whimper that threatened in the back of his throat. “Aw, baby… your practically suffering” You could feel the small beads of pre that left his tip urgently, placing soft kisses against his jaw. “However you want it, Mr. Sully”
His ears perk at that name and he almost instantly pulls your face in front of his own, capturing your soft lips in a rough and wet kiss. Your free hand untied his loincloth before traveling up his back, leaving light scratches against his blue skin. “Want you to ride me” He confesses against your lips and you couldn’t help but smirk, pushing against his stomach gently.
“The balcony” you mumble and his eyes fill with complete love as he lifts you up in his arms, carrying you out of your cave and to the big ledge that was connected to it. You called it a balcony to which humans would say because it wasn’t small enough to be a ledge, but it was safe to say you and Neteyam had your fair share of sex there. You even had a whole bed out there for when the two of you fell asleep watching the sunset. Plus, who wouldn’t want to make love while watching the sunset? Thank Eywa your cave was in the forest away from everyone else’s.
You watch as Neteyam sits on the bed you had out there and your eyes catch a glimpse of the beautiful contrasted sunset, a smile appearing on your lips. Neteyam’s eyes were burning holes against your body, mesmerized in how perfectly your shape shadowed from the sun in front of you. It captured every curve, every glowing freckle that was slowly lighting up against your skin, he could fall in love with you time and time again if he kept looking at you like this.
Your attention is fully turned to your mates body, eyes taking in the beautiful man in front of you. His legs were slightly open and his cock sat pretty against his stomach, the sun capturing the shapes of his abs perfectly. His arms laid calm next to his body but you could tell he was getting impatient, shifting every so often which made you giggle under your breath.
You let your knees softly hit the ground before crawling towards him, running your fingernails gently across his thighs till you were sitting right in front of his erection. It was clear he wanted to jump straight into sex and as much as you did too, you wanted to take care of him first, even the playing field a little bit.
“Y/N, please” His head is spinning from his drunken state and he’s becoming desperate as your grab hold of his length, stroking it ever so slowly with your eyes examining its every vein and shade of blue. A lot of woman wouldn’t be so obsessed with this part of their men but not you. Neteyam’s body was your fortress and you loved every last bit of it. He was so pretty, and his cock very much had been so too.
“Such a pretty cock, baby” The words are hushed into a whisper but his ears fall back and so does his head, butterflies filling his stomach. He wasn’t the only one with a praise kink. His tip was a shade lighter then the rest of his length but wasn’t light, and the width it portrayed made it hard for you to close your small hand around it. “Just hold on a little longer, sweet boy. Gonna make you feel so good”
His eyes squeeze shut once he feels your tongue glide against his tip, collecting the pre that was still escaping from him. Your tongue is exploring every inch on his length in under a minute, and you can clearly see he was barely holding on above you. His moans were hoarse and grunted, trying his hardest to conceal himself since you had been basically outside.
“M’gonna come if you don’t—shit!” His body jerks and your eyes meet his, watching his reaction as his balls meet your palm, his cock still buried deep in your mouth like you had something to prove. You knew he wasn’t going to last and that’s exactly what you wanted, you wanted him to feel what you did. “Please, baby. I… Y/N-“
His words only make you speed up your movements, chasing after his high. You could feel him pulsing in your mouth, and his hand reached down to hold the side of your head, more of in a comforting way then pushing you down. He was far too drunk to even argue with you, he just wanted to be inside you now.
And soon enough, he came undone with the loudest whimpers you had ever heard him let out, painting your tongue with the hot spurts of his release. His chest heaved horribly as you pulled away from his length with a pop, his eyes retracing back to your own watching you swallow its remains.
His cock was still painfully hard but you didn’t waste any time on that, moving up on the bed so you’d hover over him, allowing him to capture your lips against his. “So perfect” He hums, noticing a small bit of his release was still on your cheek. He wipes it with his thumb, sinking it past your lips with a chuckle.
Neteyam’s large hands slowly slip over your bare hips, waiting for you to sink down on him. His head was between your neck now, attacking it with wet hickeys you knew would leave a mark the next day, a moan slipping from your mouth as his fingers tighten around your skin.
“Come on, Syulang. I’ve got you” He reassures, taking one side of your butt in his hand, squeezing the pillowed skin as your hands find his shoulders for balance, his tip pressing against your very wet slit. You hold his head against you, letting out a shaky breath as you sunk down on him with ease, that familiar full feeling you were so fond of. Your husband hums in approval and in full pleasure, messaging your skin gently till your body met his and you were fully sat on his lap.
His tip was already brushed against your cervix without even moving, and your walls couldn’t help but clamp over him every other minute. “Oh my god, Tey” you pull his hair back as you lift your hips with the help of his hands, watching his eyes fall onto your own.
“That’s it, just like that” Your bodies become so close once you start, faces barely even an inch apart but you didn’t kiss, you wanted him to watch you. He reached undeniable heights inside you, bruising up your skin just to help you move your hips.
Soon your movements sped up quickly, and holding onto his shoulders didn’t help at all, you had to place both hands on the wall behind him just to gain stability. Your mate watches you in awe, as if it was his first time seeing you this way. Your hips grind against him the way he loved while your head fell back into the air, the both of you becoming slightly sweaty already.
Drunk sex always felt way too good but usually it was faster and much sweatier, this felt far too different. Even if your hips moved fast against his, it still felt like everything had been in slow motion. The way his hands held your delicate body in his embrace as he thrust his hips up to meet your own, how his lips parted in anticipation to kiss yours, Neteyam was so hungry for you—his body, was hungry for you.
“Gonna come, Pretty girl?” As if your whimper wasn’t enough to confirm his question, the way your hips moved way faster against his with your walls effortlessly clenching around him was definitely enough. Your body was calling for release and he could see that, coaching you through it with the simplest of words.
His hand leaves your hip and attaches itself around your neck, pulling you down to his face so your lips would crash into each others. His tongue instantly slipped into your mouth through your moans, holding your hips down so he could hit your deepest areas. Your high was approaching fast and he could feel it corrupting you, sitting up with you in his arms so you were literally sitting in his lap.
Your arms wrap around his neck and you can’t help but pull away from your husband, throwing your head back as you rode him faster then before, nails digging against the skin on his chest. “Ma’Teyam- fuck!” Your whimpers and moans are only motivating him more, the friction between the two of you was almost unbearable.
His large hand cups the side of your face and all that can be heard is the sound of skin slapping against another, your moans echoing the forest like a mockingjay’s song. “Come for me, Ma’Tìyawn. Talk to me, Baby” His voice is husky against your ear and it makes your body completely feral, leaning your sweaty forehead against your mate’s when you feel the pit grow in your stomach.
“Oh, Tey” You moan breathlessly against his face, pushing his hair away from his eyes to look at him. “I love you, I love you, I love you, I-“ He ceases your rambling with a sweet kiss to your lips, reaching down to rub your clit between the two of your bodies.
“I love you far more, My pretty girl” He hums against you and watches as your eyes roll back, you were so close—just barely tipped over the edge. “Now come for me so I can turn you over and fuck you like you’ve been wanting for the past week” With only a few last circles against your clit and strokes to your dripping cunt, you came undone harshly against his body, gripping onto his shoulders as you let out the most beautiful cries he’d ever heard.
Your body shutters against his and all that could be heard now was the breathing between you two, his hands reaching up to caress your face gently. “Fucking hell, what alcohol did we drink!” He chuckles, kissing the tip of your nose.
Both of your eyes traveled down between the two of you, noticing the puddle of liquid you had left on your mate’s abdomen. You always got so embarrassed but he found it so attractive, he wanted you to give him that validation.
“Hands and knees, Face toward the sunset” You slowly remove yourself from your mate, turning your semi-weak body toward the orange sunset, doing exactly as he requested. You had no idea how you were so worn out but the feeling of his hands against your back were enough to bring you back to reality. “That’s it. M’gonna sort you out baby, don’t worry” His voice is low behind you as he pushes his length against your slick, coating it in more of you.
“Your teasing…” you push back against him eagerly, earning a small chuckle from his lips as he leaned down, hovering his body over your own. His hands lingered over your body as he placed soft kisses along your shoulder before moving to your ear, taking it between his teeth. His body was so warm against yours and you could feel yourself getting hot all over again, leaning into his touch.
“If you don’t like my teasing, why are you moaning?” He questions cockily in your ear and you roll your eyes, pushing your arms out in front of you so your back was fully arched for him. The boy chuckled, pulling your hair away from your now fully exposed neck so he could access it, his free hand reaching down to line himself up with your slit. “Keep doing that, and you’ll wake up pregnant again” You hum against the bed with a smile, Oh how much you missed being pregnant.
“What if i wanted that? Our daughter is already three” His large hand clamps over your mouth as he continued to place kisses along your body, ignoring what you had just said. You were both drunk but he was sober enough to know this was just your alcohol talking.
“Ask me when your sober, My love” Some of his words are slurred but he speaks all the truth, removing his hand from your mouth and to your neck, tilting your head till he could kiss your lips.
Your breath is taken from you when you feel him slip into you all at once, and you quickly pull away from him with a gasp and your fingers squeezing the loom under you. “Your so… fuck—your annoying!” He chuckles, reaching down to pull your hips closer to his own, already stroking you at a steady pace.
Your body moves with every slow and passionate thrust, and a soft moan comes out with it. Neteyam is loving above you, whispering sweet nothings into your ear with that husked accent of his. “I’ve been thinking about this all. Fucking. Week” His breath his hot against your neck as he speaks, you could feel the sweat between you two and the heat you both shared against your connected queue’s.
Usually, the two of you would have a date night on Tuesday’s every week while his parents or your own watched your daughter, but this week was so hectic you didn’t have any time to do so. Much like Neytiri and Jake, your love language was flying or sometimes swimming. You and Neteyam would spend the night just holding each other, loving each other. Without date night, you two didn’t have any time to yourselves other then when you’d go to bed.
“Then why are you going easy on me? You know I love it when your rough” You know your words will tease him in a way he’d give in and that’s exactly why you said it. Usually the two of you would make love during sex, but you were so tired of that now. You wanted him to treat you like you were still teenagers. “Lost your touch, Mr. Sully?”
“Lost my touch? What are you saying, Tìyawn” You could tell his words were with content and not worry, and you knew now that you had him right where you wanted him. “Are you saying I can’t fulfill your needs?” You giggle and push yourself into him even more, earning a small groan from his lips. “My mate, you are playing a dangerous game”
“You know what I want, Teyam. So give it to me” His hand is clasp around your neck, tilting your head back till you could look at him with those big doe eyes you loved to tease him with. “That’s all you want, right? To please me?” Your eyelashes bat at him without your control, watching as his eyes slowly turned into voids. You had him now.
He didn’t even have to speak, only staring into your eyes as he pulled out of you, pushing back in with force and intent. Your eyes roll back and your body jerks up with every thrust he sends you, ten times harder them before. Your hands reach back to hold onto him but it only pisses him off, grabbing your wrists to cling together in front of you. His body was practically inside your own, laying on top of you while pinning your hands.
Your moans were much, much louder now and you couldn’t control them. He was hitting every little area in your body, one’s you didn’t even know you had. His cock wasn’t just kissing your sweet spot, it felt like it was the easiest spot for him to access and everytime he’d hit it, your body would shake under his. “This is what you wanted, right? Me to fuck you like your some teenage whore again? Ha. Can’t believe you said I lost my touch” He chuckled in your ear, biting the soft skin of your shoulder. You were begging now, so fucking desperate for him.
“Yes! Fuck, this is what I wanted, Tey. Wanted you to fuck me how you used to!” How he used to? Great mother you should’ve never said that.
“How I used to?” Of course your words make him rethink and come back ten times harder, lifting his torso from you to pull your hands behind your back, earning the loudest whimper from you. “That’s okay, my love. I’ll give everything to you now, and don’t even think about coming till I say so” there he was, your teenage fever.
It looked inhumane the way he was treating your body. From the way his hips snapped into yours, to how he held your hands right behind your back, and how he pushed your face into the bed to muffle your very loud moans. But it all felt way too good, this is exactly what you wanted and you knew he was the only man who could fulfill it. You never wanted him to stop.
“Right there! Right fucking—oh my god” You were so close to your edge it was torture. You were practically begging him to let you come before you had to, you knew you couldn’t hold it much longer. “Tey, I can’t… I’m— fuck!”
“You better hold it” He threatens, pushing your arch deeper. You let out a cry and his husband reaction was more then enough to slow down, reaching down to your neck to pull you up against his body. Your head fell lazily against his chest but your reassuring eyes told him everything he needed to know. “Safe word, pretty girl?” You shook your head and grabbed his, pulling his face against yours in a rough kiss. He wasn’t hurting you, he could never hurt you.
“I need it, Tey. Please… want you to mark me all over again. Give it all to me…!” You speak through your broken moans, feeling his tongue glide along your neck. Your body was screaming for him and the sound of your wet cunt around his cock was all that could be heard, that forbidden sound that brought you so much pleasure. His fangs are just barely above your skin, teasing you with his tongue and long strokes. You cry, begging your mate to sink his teeth into your skin like he used to, to claim you as his all over again.
From the second his teeth sunk into the delicate skin of your neck, to when he started to send slow strokes to your body, you felt yourself lose control and the only thing keeping you up was his hand wrapped around your stomach. You couldn’t take it, the pleasure was far too much.
He can feel your undeniable orgasm approaching and so was his, and at this point he couldn’t hold back anymore. His teeth remove from your skin, tongue swiping over any blood that escaped from your neck with his heavy breath beside you. “Look at you, taking my cock so well. Fuck, m’gonna come… want you to come with me. Can you do that for me?” You nod desperately, moving your hips against his to meet his rough strokes. “Touch yourself”
Your limp body is heavy in his arms as you reach down, rubbing circles against your clit at the same speed of his thrusts. Your moans and begs only grew louder, and Neteyam was on his very edge. “Did so good for me—Come, pretty girl. I’m right behind you!” His coaching words make you cry aloud, holding onto his body for support as you felt your orgasm slowly tipping over its end, rubbing your clit. faster to chase that high. “Just one more, baby. Need you to come so I can fill this pretty cunt nice and full just like you wanted”
“Nete—fuck, fuck fuck! I’m… Mmph! I’m coming!” He continues to coach you to it, and with one last snap of his hips and circle to your clit, you felt your body release it’s everything onto his. He shushes your loud scream while silencing his own grunts, fingers digging into your hips to pull you close, painting your gummy walls with his white, hot release.
All that was heard was your heavy breathing and the sounds of birds chirping in the air, and you soon found yourself collapsed next to each other on the bed. Your chests were heaving horribly, and the sweat that drip from your foreheads were now everywhere. You were so tired.
Neteyam turned to look at you but wished he hadn’t when he finally caught wind of the way your body looked. You were bruised, marked, and the he had done it all. He was the one who did that to you. “Great mother…” his words didn’t seem pleasurable anymore, voice just barely above a whisper. You turned your head to see your mate’s eyes lingering on your hips, fingers brushing against your skin.
“Neteyam? You followed his guilt filled gaze and you were finally able to tell, realizing your wounds. You feel bad yourself, watching his eyes and how they filled with pain. “Neteyam, It’s okay-“
“I’m such a Skxawng! I… I’m so sorry, My love” He reaches to touch another wound but your hands cup his face in time to stop him, eyes softening at his big doe eyes that looked like they wanted to fill with tears. Neteyam was a gentlemen before anything, that’s one of the things you loved about him so much, but as soon as you were hurt in any way, he felt like he had failed you—especially if it was his fault.
“I told you what I wanted, didn’t I? I’m okay, your okay, everything is okay” a small laugh leaves your mouth as you wipe the dot of blood on his lip from marking you, still watching his eyes search yours. “You want to make it up to me?” He instantly nods desperately, grabbing your arm.
“Anything. I’ll do anything, Y/N” You smile, he was so cute when he was worried for you. You didn’t even need him to do anything, you just wanted him close.
“Watch the sunset with me?” Your eyebrows raise slightly and his face softens, a smile pulling at the corner of his lips. Ending the night like this was perfect. It was almost as if you had just gotten back from date night. He leans down gently to place his lips against your own, relishing in the taste of your sweet lips. You were okay and he knew that, he just couldn’t understand how he could do such things to your body. This only happened when you were in heat or he was in his rut.
He lays back and places one of his arms above his forehead while opening his other for you, watching you with a smile as you cuddle your naked body over his. Your head is nuzzled between his neck and your legs are shuffled with his own, the light of the sunset reflecting off your skin. Neteyam grabbed the blanket from behind you and pulled it over you both, laying his large arm over you once you were comfortable.
“I’m still so fucking drunk” He sighs making you laugh while you drew imaginary shapes along his chest, leaning your head up to kiss his jaw. “We can sleep now” You roll your eyes with another laugh, imagining what it would’ve been like had you actually went to sleep when you told him to earlier.
“I love you, Pretty boy” You hum, hugging his torso. He looks down at your already relaxed body, leaning his face down to kiss your head.
“I love you way more, My beautiful girl”
The morning started off slow for you, yet the day seemed to go by in a blur.
There wasn’t much you had to do today but right now you were heading home from a little hunt with your best friend, Neteyam.
He was going on and on about this girl he met the other night and you had begun to tune him out, his little sexual endeavors no longer interested you.
“Is everything alright?” Neteyam interrupted your train of thought
You must have spaced out on your walk home, as the clan was now in sight, not too far now.
“Yeah, I’m alright.” You responded distantly
“How are you feeling?” Neteyam prodded
“I feel good. Why?” You ask, turning your head back to look at him briefly
“No reason.” Neteyam shrugged “Just figured it wouldn’t hurt to check on you.”
“Well I’m fine Neteyam.” You smiled, now facing your path again
“I- I have a question.” He hesitated
“Okay, Um- ask it then.” You responded, not sure where this was going
“How come you’ve never…” He looked around, making sure there were no other listening ears “Done anything?”
Your eyes squint in confusion, “What do you mean?”
“I mean, you listen to all of my experiences but you’ve never told me anything about your own.” He explained, his face now faced the ground as he scratched the back of his ear
“You mean like… sexual things?” You now whisper as your face burns in embarrassment
“Why are you saying it like it’s a bad thing?” Neteyam queried, his hand grabbing your elbow to stop you in your tracks
“I- I mean it’s definitely not a bad thing, but I, I don’t know, it’s just never happened for me.” You stuttered out, your voice almost quivering as Neteyam towered over you.
“Never?” Neteyam’s head tilted in confusion “So, what, you’re a virgin? Really?”
“Shush!” You smacked his chest, making him laugh in amusement
The two of you had been best friends for years, so it wasn’t a particularly uncomfortable thing to talk about with him. But, still, you found it embarrassing for yourself, and you avoided eye contact with him.
“How do you release stress?” Neteyam asked, almost laughing as he looked down at you in amazement “How can you hold out for so long?”
“Because I’m not a sex addict?” You quipped, making him laugh once again
“I’m not an addict. I have a healthy relationship with my sex life, actually.” He grabbed you by your chin, forcing you to look him in the eye, “You can’t just ignore it.”
You shove his hand away, “Leave it alone, Neteyam.”
“I’m sorry, every word that’s coming out of your mouth just intrigues me more.” Neteyam laughed
You try to push away from him, but he has a strong hold on you.
“Have you, at the very least, ever been kissed, sevin?”
Your eyes widen and your face flushes with embarrassment when once again.
“No?” He analyzes you with his eyes carefully, as if he’d never seen you before now. And, to be frank, he probably had never seen you quite like this before.
“Can I ask you a more personal question?” He asked, his eyes still boring into you
You scoff, “Does it get anymore personal than this?”
“Yes or no?” He insisted, taking you by the chin once again to force eye contact
“Fine.” You stared up at him, awaiting his question
“As I was saying earlier… um, to relieve stress, be honest, do you touch yourself?” He asked, rather bluntly
Your eyes widened like a deer caught in headlights, “W-what do you mean?”
Neteyam’s lips pull into a small smirk. “You know, at night, after a long day…” His hand slipped down to you hip, pulling you gently against him. “When you get all alone…”
“No… No I don’t…” You take a breath, “I don’t do that.”
“What a shame…” Neteyam laughed, his hand squeezing at your hip
“Really?” You asked, eyes wider than ever
“I mean… you are missing out… but who am I to judge you for the pace you decide to take?” Neteyam shrugged
“Neteyam… I don’t like that I’m so inexperienced… but now…” You begin to try and explain but Neteyam cuts you off
“It’s alright, it’s never too late, believe me.” He reassured you
“But, I don’t even know how to… you know.” You hinted, now avoiding his eye contact again
“Touch yourself?” He teased
“…yeah.” You nod
“Just… explore yourself… I don’t know how to explain it without… showing you.” He advised
“That’s not helpful.” You laughed
“I mean, if you want, I could… help you.” Neteyam suggested “By showing you.”
“I don’t know…” You looked away from him
“Exactly! You don’t know. Which is why you should let me help you.” He urged, humorously
“This isn’t a joke Neteyam!” You whined, pushing at his chest
“No, it’s not.” He said, seriously “I do want to help you, let me help you sevin, please?”
The second you agreed he was on you.
His lips connected with yours in a passion that you felt you could never recreate with anyone else.
He pulls both of you off of the beaten path into the wooded area that could cover you both. He lays you down on the mossy ground and sinks in between your legs
You feel a tingle of excitement as Neteyam begins to touch you. His hands are gentle and kind as he guides you through the motions of self-pleasure.
He moves your hand up and down your body, slowly caressing each area as he talks you through it. His words are soft and encouraging, telling you what to do and how to do it.
He takes you through the steps of stimulating yourself, explaining each sensation as it passes through your body. You can feel your heart racing and your breathing becoming more and more shallow.
Neteyam uses his fingers to separate your slick folds, and then he uses your fingers to trace over his touches.
“This right here, your clit, that’s your main focus.” He brings your fingers over it
Neteyam smiled up at you, he wanted to comment on how wet you were, but he didn’t want to embarrass you further. Though internally, it boosted his ego and simultaneously made his mouth water.
He guides your hand lower, lightly touching your most intimate areas. You blush at the sensation, embarrassed and aroused at the same time. He teases and tantalizes you until you can't take it anymore and you let out a moan of pleasure.
“Feeling alright?” He asked, looking up once again
“Mhm.” Was all you could manage
Without any warning to you, Neteyam began to ease one finger into you.
You gasp in surprise, making Neteyam smirk up at you. You desperately clench around his finger as he carefully prods at the spot that made you feel the best.
He continues to massage and caress you, slowly and gently pushing you deeper and deeper into pleasure. You can feel yourself getting closer and closer to the edge until finally you reach the peak of pleasure and let out a loud cry of ecstasy as you experience your very first orgasm.
“There you go, you feel so good.” He whispers to you
Neteyam's hands are still on you, gently soothing and calming you as you come down from the high. You feel exhausted but incredibly satisfied. You turn to him and smile.
“Neteyam, can I ask something from you?” Your eyes had a slightly worried look in them
“Of course. Anything.” He nodded, his hand resting on your hip
“I, I want you to…” You sigh, unsure how to form your words
“You want me to…?” His eyes stared at you intensely “To what? Use your words.”
“To be my first.” You practically whispered
“That’s what you want?” His head tilted slightly in concern “Me?”
You nod, at this point you were ready to just disappear in to the mossy ground you were both lying on.
“Okay… I’ll do it.” He looked at you, almost as scared as you were. “I’ve… never been with a virgin though, I don’t want to hurt you.”
“No it’s alright.” You placed a hand on his shoulder “I want it to be you, I’d rather it would be you that hurt me than anyone else.”
With a gentle touch, he takes your face in his hands and leans in to kiss you. His lips are so soft, and his kiss lingers as his hands slowly make their way around your body.
His touch is so gentle and loving, it sends shivers down your spine. His hands keep exploring, sending sparks of pleasure through your body. He is so patient and understanding, and you feel safe and comfortable in his arms.
You felt a rush of heat flood through you and you opened your mouth to welcome his tongue. His lips moved with yours in a passionate dance that sent shivers down your spine. You felt his hands slide down your back and cup your bottom, pressing you even closer to him.
You could feel his hardness pressed against you and your legs began to tremble in anticipation. He pulled away for a moment, his breath hot against your neck, and you felt your heart pounding in your chest. He took your hand and led you to the bed, his gaze never leaving yours.
He lays you down and hovered above you, his body covering yours. His lips moved down your neck and you felt his hands slide up your thighs. You gasped as his fingers brushed against the most intimate parts of you and his tongue explored the sensitive skin around your nipples.
“You’re really sure about this?” He asks one last time
“Yes.” You make eye contact with him, he could see the fear in your eyes but continued anyways.
Your heart raced and your breathing was heavy as he moved up and positioned himself between your legs. You felt his hard cock press against you and you let out a whinper as he slowly entered you.
“Mn- So- fuck- So tight.” Neteyam grunted softly
“Ah- Neteyam!” You cried out for him
“Right here baby… It’s alright, doing so good.” He groaned as he bottomed out inside of you “Sque- Fuck. Squeezing me so much.”
Your fingers dig into his biceps as you whine for him. A mix of pain and newfound pleasure overwhelming you. He gave you a long few moments to adjust to this new sensation. This new stretch.
“Can’t believe you hid this tight ass pussy from me.” He groaned as he began to gently grind his hips against yours “Shoulda let me in here a long time ago.”
He nestles his head into the crook of your neck, deeply inhaling your scent.
Slowly, he began to rock in and out of you.
He slides his hand along your thigh, feeling the warmth of your skin beneath his fingertips. His touch is gentle, yet firm, and he knows exactly how to handle your body. His lips brush against yours, and you can't help but melt into his embrace.
He kisses you deeply, exploring your mouth with his tongue. You moan as He continues his gentle, yet deep thrusts into you. His hands explore your body, caressing and teasing you, all of the combined feelings turning you into a quivering, trembling mess.
He takes his time, savoring every moment.
“Doin’ so good for me.” He mumbled against your lips
He drove deep into you, intentionally deep, and your cries of pleasure fill the air. You can feel the intensity of his passion as he brings you ever closer to the brink.
“Oh, you gonna cum for me again?” He asked, sounding beautifully breathless
“Neteyam- Yes!” You cry for him.
“Mm… I might just cum for you too.” He groaned as you squeezed around him
His hand reached down, easily finding your clit again and began to rub gentle circles on it, giving you another leap towards the edge.
The sensations were overwhelming and you clung to him as he moved faster and faster. You cried out as your orgasm swept through you. You felt him tense, and then still.
Just as you begin to calm down, he grabs your hips and pushes in deep, filling you with his warm cum.
“Uh- Fuck.” He moaned, his head thrown back as he stilled himself completely.
After a second, he gently pulled out.
He lay beside you, his arms around you, and you felt a wave of contentment wash over you.
“Thank you Neteyam.” You whispered
“Mm, you’re welcome…” He peppered gentle kisses on your neck “From now on, all mine.”
“What?” Your eyes went wide
“You. You’re all mine.” He smiled against your neck, “C’mon, rest now, you did so much today.”
After nearly weeks of traveling on your ikrans, your family had finally arrived in Awa’atlu, desperately seeking Uturu to get away from war. You were standing beside your brother, Neteyam, your lanky arms hanging awkwardly in front of you, tense hands clasped together in a poor attempt to ground yourself.
You felt even more awkward when an–admittedly attractive– boy and his friend entered the crowd. Once the two of you made eye contact–his being a thousand times more intense than yours, burning into you like a hundred suns– you immediately brought your hand to your forehead, a sign of respect.
Instead of him doing the same like you thought he would, he flared his nostrils and looked you up and down with a narrowed glare. His stare made a feeling flutter deep in your stomach, like someone alerted a field of colorful kenten.
Oh. He was sizing you up.
With an inaudible inhale, you shuffled closer to Neteyam, his heavy arm immediately coming to wrap around your tense shoulders, thumbing at scarred skin, effectively grounding you. Your big amber eyes never broke away from Aonung’s baby blue ones, furrowing your eyebrows and flicking your ears upward in embarrassment from being blatantly ignored. He would definitely be a problem later.
It was when your dad whispered an “it’s alright, be cool” that you finally broke his gaze, opting to look at the ground beneath you. Your thick braids curtained the sides of your face, beads clicking together harmoniously–the feeling of being watched intensely from a crowd of na’vi made you feel nauseous, dizzy, and even more alienated; your nose twitching as the the saltiness of the air nearly intoxicates you.
The sand felt weird, foreign, incredibly unfamiliar to the dark soil you already missed digging your feet into. The waves crashing against the shore, however, sounded lovely. The wind blows, it passes over, beneath, and between the mangroves, one after another, never to return. Though, it wasn’t enough to fill the void. You hoped that after all this blew over, you and your family would be able to go back home–but the gnawing voice at the back of your head knew that would never happen.
“These children are not even true Na’vi.”
You harshly blinked away the tears that threatened to spill when you felt the Tsahìk rip one of your clasped hands away, only to hold your four-fingered hand up for the scrutinizing crowd to see. Her voice boomed with authority.
“They have demon blood!”
The only thing you could hear were ringing in your ears, your own pulsing heartbeat, and the scared gasps of the na’vi surrounding you.
Welp. This is your life now. Your home.
“Hey!” Lo’ak yelled, striding up to Aonung and his crew with you following closely behind, “Back off, fishlips.” Kiri took a few small steps back, looking between the both of you in a slight panic; you nodded towards her and she nodded back with a small, yet obviously forced smile on her face, the look in her eyes gave you just enough to know she was fine.
Aonung’s face quickly morphed into a smirk, his tone criminally sardonic. By Eywa, this boy is evil. “Oooh, more four-fingered freaks!” He cackled wickedly, lightly shoving Lo’ak–almost playful– like he wasn’t tormenting Kiri a few moments ago. Him and his gang started to crowd around your twin, pulling and touching the thin tail that flicked with annoyance.
“Leave us alone!” Kiri chorused, the plea sitting desperately on her tongue.
With an exaggerated sigh, you ran up beside Lo’ak and shoved Aonung with as much strength as your lithe body could muster at the moment, running off of pure adrenaline. The push wasn’t that strong, but strong enough that it made Aonung take a few steps back, admittedly flustering him a little. “Dude, don’t touch him!” You emphasized, your frantic, honeyed eyes as wide as can be, staring back into his.
Time seemed to stop for Aonung as he took in your appearance like he did the first time you two saw each other, yet you were even beautiful up close. His eyes looked between your left eye, your right, and then to your lips. Before his own mind could even register, he wrapped his big hand around your wrist, indulging in how it nearly engulfed your entire hand. Once his thumb caressed your skin, you felt your heart jump.
“Beautiful..” Aonung whispered– his voice low and deep– so that just the two of you would be able to hear it. His tongue swiped at his bottom lip, effectively distracting you from what was really important at the moment.
It seems that he was too caught up in taking you in, narrowly missing the way Neteyam was currently striding up to him with vigor, shoving him with way more force than you ever had, resulting in everyone going quiet and shifting their attention towards him.
“You heard what they said.” Neteyam started, pointing an accusing finger at Aonung. “Leave them alone.”
“Back off, now.”
Aonung raised his hands up in mock surrender, looking off to the side as Neteyam continued to stare holes into his head.
“Smart choice. And from now on I need you to respect my sisters.”
“Let’s go.” Neteyam gathered you, Kiri, and Lo’ak like sheep, ready to walk away and get whatever the hell was happening over with.
“Look at them. They’re all freaks, the whole family.”
Lo’ak sighs deeply at this and makes his way back over to Aonung and his friends.
Watching him with wide eyes, your heart panged as you figured out what would happen as soon as he steps into their vicinity again. “Lo’ak..” You chided, hurriedly looking back towards your twin and the snickering guys behind him.
“I got this, sis.”
Lo’ak, in fact, did not have it. A huge fight broke out between everyone, excluding Kiri of course. What kind of twin would you be if you didn’t jump in?
.⠀ ݁ ⸜⸜ 𓂃 ✿̅
You all were definitely about to get the lecturing of a lifetime–or, you and Lo’ak, at least. Lo’ak had his hand wrapped around his arm, Neteyam rubbing at his bloodied nose, while you had your arms crossed, nails digging into your elbows. All with Jake trailing behind, practically seething with anger.
“What was the one thing I asked? The one thing?”
“Stay out of trouble–” You and Lo’ak chorused, Neteyam looking off to the side.
“Stay out of trouble, right.”
“And you,” Jake started incredulously, turning his stern gaze towards you. He knew you and Lo’ak were alike, down to a T, so maybe he really shouldn’t be surprised, yet he still couldn’t help but feel a semblance of disappointment pang in his chest as he watched the pinkish hue of Aonung’s blood stain the tips of your teeth and the cracks of your bruised lips. “You bit Aonung!”
“I did not–” “Yes, you did! Oh, so now you’re starting to lie to me?” Immediately, your ears cast downward, the loudness of his voice making tears brim your eyes and your bottom lip tremble. He was right, you actually did lie, the taste of iron fresh on your tongue to further prove his point. But how you hated when your father spoke to you like this–the weight of shame and disappointment dripping down your shoulders like hot syrup.
You felt Lo’ak and Neteyam’s stare burn into the side of your head like hot coals, their hearts heavy as they both watched their little sister get scolded for something she didn’t start.
Neteyam pursed his lips before stepping in front of you and Lo’ak, ready to defend. “Sir, it is all my fault–”
“I don’t think so. You gotta stop taking the heat for these two knuckleheads.” Your shoulders were pinched as a tear ran down the slope of your rounded cheek, hand coming up to quickly swipe it away. Neteyam stepped over to place a hand on your back.
“Dad, Aonung was picking on Kiri.. called her a freak.” Lo’ak said softly, as to not make your father raise his voice any more than he already was. Jake’s stern gaze softened at this, looking off to the side. He sighed audibly before looking back to the both of you.
“Go apologize to Aonung.”
“What?” You and Lo’ak said in unison, both of your eyebrows furrowing.
“He is the chief’s son, do you understand? I don’t care how you do it, just make peace. Just go.”
And with that, Lo’ak sighed and shook his head, stray braids swinging with the movement, walking off to go find Aonung with you scurrying behind like a lost, pitiful puppy. You didn’t dare look back when Jake called for Neteyam, only focusing on controlling your own harsh breathing. This had to have been the worst day of your life.
.⠀ ݁ ⸜⸜ 𓂃 ✿̅
“Run that by me again.”
“..Whatever that means.”
“Repeat what you said.”
“I said, if you allow me to court your sister, you will be pardoned.”
“Dude, I am not prostituting my sister. Are you nuts or something?”
“Not prostituting, I just happen to like her.”
Well, you thought, so much for trying to apologize.
You were currently hiding behind a nearby tree, ears alert as you listened in on their conversation. Lo’ak told you to stay put, that he’d go apologize to the dude himself since you didn’t have anything to do with it; technically you did bite him, and his friend.. and two more of his friends. But that was because you had teeth, so why not use them for what they’re made for?
By the time Aonung blinked, you were already at your twin’s side, amber eyes glancing into amber eyes before peeking into his blue ones. “I am very sorry, Aonung, but I don’t think Kiri is interested in you. Like, at all.” You said with a tilt of your head, beads thudding almost mockingly.
After an awkward beat of silence, Aonung cleared his throat. “No, I’m not talking about Kiri..? I’m talking about you, (Y/N).”
Lo’ak gawked at him as if he had grown fifteen heads, eyebrows raised incredulously. “Bro–” “I accept your offer.” Now Lo’ak was staring at you as if you were crazier for even accepting, mouth open cartoonishly wide. Aonung, however, looked extremely pleased at your response, glancing at Lo’ak in a way that screamed ‘she said it, not me’.
“Whatever. Let me know if you need me to beat him up, okay? And you, bring my baby sister back before eclipse.” Lo’ak huffed before turning to set off along the shore, shaking his head in the procress.
“Not a baby, Lo’ak, we were born five minutes apart!” You complained in English, making Aonung’s ears perk up at the foreign language that spilled from your mouth.
Lo’ak turned to you, flipping you off with both hands raised in the air–even with his thumbs out. Disrespectful. “Girl, bye!”
You watched your brother walk further and further, his silhouette getting smaller and smaller. Blinking, you turned to Aonung, only to find out he’s already staring you down intensely. Acknowledging him with a nod of your head, you felt your cheeks flush at his attention, a fluttering feeling took over the pit of your stomach.
Aonung crowded you, tucking his fingers under your chin to make you look up at him. “Just so you know, I would have courted you even without your brother’s permission, sweet girl.” His eyes were even prettier up close, a striking narrowed blue boring into your honey ones. You felt your heart violently palpate at the name, and with a nervous exhale, you shied away from his hand.
“Come.” You quipped sweetly, skipping ahead with Aonung following close behind, his eyes trailing down your form, stopping at the pretty woven bow that sat right at the base of your tail. His gaze snapped back to your face when he saw you face him in his peripheral, heart thudding against his ribcage. “Do you call everyone ‘sweet girl’?”
“No, only you. You are very pretty, by the way.”
“Thanks bro.” He internally cringed at the choice of label, it was a habit, obviously, but Aonung didn’t seem to mind it very much; he knew it would change over the course of time. “You think the same about Lo’ak?”
“By Eywa, no, he doesn’t look half as good as you, paskalin.”
“He is my twin, skxawng. We look the same.”
Aonung went silent for a few moments, scanning your features before responding. “.. Not necessarily. The shape of the hair over your eyes are both the same, though. I will give you that much.”
Your laugh fluctuated throughout the air, singing harmoniously with the crashing waves. You desperately trying to ignore the way your entire body felt like it was lit up in flames when he placed his hand on the small of your waist, thumbing at the skin, you were sure he could hear your heartbeat threatening to jump out of your chest.
Looking up at him, you noticed the small multitude of bite marks along his shoulders and arms, your ears lowering in guilt when the phantom taste of iron filled your mouth, remembering what your dad told you.
“Also–uhm– sorry for biting you.. so many times.”
“It’s okay, I liked it, sorry for calling you a freak.”
“No hard feelings. I’ve said worse about you with Lo’ak.” Aonung decided he would ignore that last part, while you decided to ignore the first part of his statement, feeling your face flush for the thousandth time today.
“I really did like it, by the way, you biting me. Do it again next time.”
“.. Jesus christ.”
“Who?”
You didn’t really like it here at first, but since the Olo’eyktan’s son currently had his hand digging into the skin of your waist with full intent on courting you, you guess you could make it work.
❖ — When Ao’nung saw you for the first time, he held a dislike for you because you were a “demon”. After everything his mother told him about the sky people, he assumed that you were the same. He was cold toward you in the beginning, but with a mix of your beauty and charming personality, he began to grow feelings for you and soon after, you both became a couple.
❖ — The first thing he noticed about you was your height. In his eyes, you were the height of a child, which always caused him to crack some type of joke that you didn’t find funny or amusing.
“You are so little, I could literally crush you.”
“How are you and Tuk almost the same height?!”
❖ — He thought your height was an advantage for some things and one of them was ‘spicy time’.
“You are eye level with my waist, that will come in handy when you suck my-” Your eyes widen at his comment and you hit him in the chest, forcing him to not finish his sentence. “Shut up, skxawng! That’s all you think about!”
❖ — Whenever you and the group hang out, somehow his arm always manages to rest on your head. He saw you as his “personal armrest” and he took advantage anytime both of you were standing next to each other. You always tell him that he’s being annoying, but deep down you love him being comfortable with you in that aspect.
❖ — When both of you talked, you always had to look up to him, which gets aggravating at times when your neck starts to hurt. Ao’nung noticed this, so sometimes when both of you talk, he’d sit down and let you stand so both of you will be at eye level.
❖ — Walking around the village would be tiring for you at times especially since everyone around you had bodies more equipped for the environment. Whenever you began to lag behind, Ao’nung became your mode of transportation.
“Do you want me to carry you the rest of the way?”
Ao’nung would let you get on his back and he would take you wherever the destination was, which you appreciated because you didn’t know how much longer you were going to last.
❖ — When he started teaching you the way of water, you were eager, but it was hard for you, being human in a Na’vi environment wasn’t easy. Whenever you were having doubts or he heard you mumble about giving up, he was right there encouraging you (sometimes with spicy incentives).
“You got this, syulang! I’m right here with you.”
“If you hold your breath a little longer this time, when we finish our lesson, I’ll take you to my marui and do that thing you like.” He ends his sentence in a singsong tone and a small smirk on his face knowing that his words would motivate you.
After he said that, you held your breath twice the time you did before. Ao’nung was so proud of you that he couldn’t wait to take you home. He carried you into a secluded area of the jungle and happily rewarded you for breaking your record.
❖ — Whenever you and him held hands he made sure not to squeeze your hand too tight because he didn’t want to crush you. He always made sure to treat you delicately because he knew how fragile humans were to Na’vi.
“Ao’nung, can you give me a real hug? I haven’t seen you all day.”
“I don’t wanna squeeze you too tight or I’ll hurt you.”
❖ — Whenever you spend the night in his marui, both of you would cuddle together and you would have the best time being the little spoon. Feeling his big arms curled around your small waist, burying your head in his broad chest, him every so often giving your skin a soft kiss made you want to melt instantly. Him being so affectionate and gentle with you was hands down one of the things you loved most.
❖ — He loves you and your human body and wouldn’t trade you for anyone on Pandora. The only person he wants is you. You were his precious tawtute and he loved you with every fiber in his body.
I hope you enjoyed🩷!
➱ The day Ronal found out she was pregnant with you was the best news she could ever receive with you being her first child.
➱ She quickly rushed to tell Tonowari that no matter how busy he was, he needed to know. Ronal waits for no one.
➱ “Yawne, what is so important that you had to drag me away from hunting?” Tonowari asks, a bit worried as he looks down at his mate who has a big smile on her face while tears fill her eyes.
➱ “We’re having a baby,” she says as the tears fall down her cheeks, she takes his hand and puts it over her stomach, she looks up at him, his eyes filling with tears as he can’t believe that his dream of having a little one was finally becoming true. They shared a long embrace that day.
➱ Since the news, they’ve been patiently waiting for your arrival.
➱ Tonowari being the lovely husband he is, tended to Ronal’s every care, craving, and support she needed not being able to lift a finger when he was around.
➱ She did scold him that she could do some things by herself, she was pregnant but not sick, Tonowari was a bit scared but understood and backed off- only a little.
➱ Tonowari would sing to you every morning before he had to leave to deal with his daily duties of being Olo’eyktan while rubbing Ronal’s belly. “I’m so sorry my sweet baby but your father is not a good singer,” she thought to herself as she looked down at her mate.
➱ After he left, she sang to you as she rubbed her belly. “Don’t worry my sweet child, Mama got you, she always will.”
➱ Ronal would make special jewelry for you to wear when you make your appearance, picking out the prettiest shells and pearls so you were her precious little jewel.
➱ The day you arrived, they were so excited to hear you cry and as you were placed in Ronal’s arms, she gently held you supporting your head, and rocked you a bit while Tonowari held your tiny hand “What should we call her, tiyawn?” he says while never taking his eyes off you.
➱ “How about y/n?” She says looking up at him as tears roll down his eyes.
➱ “Y/n is perfect.” He smiles at her and looks back at you as you look up at them with an adorable curious face.
Bonus - You as a toddler.
You were definitely a mama’s girl, always around her while she did her job as tsahik. She would carry you around with her as she made sure her people were doing alright, and you would never cause trouble with her, you were mostly quiet.
Your father on the other hand, you love giving him trouble, out of love of course. You were his little troublemaker. When he first took watch on you, he had brought you down to the beach so you could feel the touch of sand.
When he put you down, you were so fascinated by the texture, how soft it felt on your legs. You let out a giggle that made a smile appear on your father’s face as he watched you. Someone had gotten your father’s attention to say hi and by time he looked back to where you were sitting, you were gone which immediately struck fear in him.
“Where is she - Ronal’s is going to skin me alive - how could I lose my daughter the first time I take watch on her?” thoughts flooding his mind one after the other as he looked around frantically until he saw you near the ocean softly patting a baby ilu that came to greet you. He lets out a long breath that he’s been holding in as he makes his way toward you. When he reaches next to you, he immediately picks you up and hugs you tightly which makes you smile at the hold of your father. “I can tell you’re going to be the death of me, syulang.” he looks down at you as you look up at him with a smile.
𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒆 - 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
Tumblr media
pairing: dilf!jake sully x avatar!reader a/n: this one got a little bit away from me, and ended up a lot more plotty than i intended. warnings: 18+ mdni, age difference, uneven power dynamic, hints at cheating, accidental stimulation. barely proofread word count: 1900+
Tumblr media
"Do I have a choice?"
"'Fraid not, kid." Jake said, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips at the glare you shoot him at your least favoured nickname. You hated being thought of as a kid, especially by him. As pathetic as it was, from the moment the hormones had kicked in, you'd held a torch for Jake and you can’t bear the thought that the man who so often visited your dreams thinks of you as a child. By the smirk that graces his annoyingly gorgeous face each time you protested, you had begun to suspect that it only egged him on.
You were younger than all other Avatar drivers, besides Spider, having got your Avatar at twenty-one, over two decades after the others. A much more exciting coming of age than the earth tradition of being allowed to drink. By human standards, you'd been an adult for several years, but you had still not passed that threshold by Na'vi standards.
The subject of your iknimaya had been a source of many arguments within the clan, and you knew that Jake had done his best to protect you from it, but even his power had limits when faced with the outrage of several clan elders. You were proficient at riding Pa'li, and that had saved you for the first year, but the pressure only got worse after the move to high camp.
It wasn't that you didn't want to, but your terror of heights had been discovered In your youth when at Lo'ak dragged you along with him and Spider to the Hallelujah Mountains and it took several hours and scratches to poor Norm's face to get you down. Norm had been insistent that you be sedated for the move to High Camp.
"Look, you’ve always wanted to be one of the people, and I know they haven't always been the most welcoming..." His face scrunches in discomfort at the thought, he had done his best to foster a good relationship between the Omatikaya and the humans that remained, but there was only so much he could do after the trauma your people had caused to the Na'vi. You couldn't blame them, but you and Spider, whose only crimes were being born here, had both faced the sting of that trauma many times. "But you see how they are with Spider, he's one of the people now. Don't you want that, kid?"
One of the people was stretching the truth a little in your opinion, but you did want that and you were well aware that your refusal to partake in their clan traditions didn't help matters for you.
"Besides, what is there to be afraid of? You love Bob!"
"I do love Bob." You agreed, giving the Ikran a pat on the neck and receiving a nuzzle in return. You'd tried to make up for your lack of participation in clan traditions by helping out more around camp. That included caring for the Ikran, and you had grown quite fond of Jake's Ikran, and he you. You look up at Jake, your ears pressing back against your head in a performance that rivalled the many you’d given as a child to get Norm to let you leave Hell’s Gate unattended, looking for an ounce of sympathy that you might elicit from him in a last ditch effort to get out of it. "I also love not hurtling thousands of feet to my death."
You knew it was all over for you when the lines around his eyes became more pronounced and he burst into laughter.
“Nice try, but if I let you get away with it any longer, people are gonna start thinking I’ve gone soft.” He climbs up onto Bob’s back and reaches out a hand to you. “Come on, you wouldn’t have me ruin my reputation for you, would you? It’s just one ride, I’ll ease you in.”
Defeated, you took his hand and allowed him to pull you up in front of him. You were grateful to be sat facing away from him, it would at least save you from the embarrassment when your body is overtaken by terror, and would disguise some of the blush that heated your cheeks at being in such close proximity to him. You were even more grateful that he’d called you to the edge of the camp under the cover of darkness, so any members of the clan who might spot you would hopefully miss the colour of your cheeks.
You knew your attempts to hide your crush on the Olo’eyktan were not as effective as you might wish. Spider never failed to let you know how obvious your bodily reactions were whenever you were in his proximity, teasing you endlessly for every blush or stutter of your words. Though Spider was sure that Jake was well aware of your infatuation, you were certain he didn’t. He was way too happy to have you around, only giving that devilishly handsome grin of his whenever you found yourself lost for words in his presence.
“Good girl.” Your body stiffens to stop the shiver that threatens to run down your spine at the sound of his voice, so deep and so so close to your ear as he reaches around you for Bob’s kuru. “When was the last time you trimmed your nails?” He asks, a deep chuckle vibrating against your back at your mumbled ‘that was one time…’. “Okay, you ready?” No, you weren’t and the shake of your head didn’t stop him from guiding each of your hands to grab onto a kuru. “Mirrors. Signal. Manoeuvre.”
Before you can question what the hell that means, the ground disappears from below you and High Camp disappears from your view. You only realise that the sound piercing your eardrums was your own screams when your voice begins to crack, your throat sore from sustaining the sound for so long and his laughter breaks through the sound.
“You back with me, kid?” He has to raise his voice to be heard over the whipping of the wind against your ears, and as awareness of your surroundings returns to you, you see that he’s settled you into a steady glide now, little over the treelines of what used to be the Omatikaya’s home. You’re so focussed on being so close to the place you used to think of as home and the adrenaline rushing through your body, that has your blood pumping and your head spinning, it takes much longer than you’d have liked to realise the position you’ve put yourself in.
In the panic of the descent, you’d all but climbed into Jake’s lap. Leaving no space between your bodies, your tail wrapped so tightly around his calf that you were sure you were cutting off his blood supply and although you’re thankful that it’s no longer Bob you were holding onto when you see the half moon indents in his wrists.
“Oh shit– Fuck! I’m so sorry.” Your body temperature rises several degrees over what you’re certain is safe when the reality of your situation hits you and the dizziness is no longer from height. There’s no way you’re thinking clearly through the blood rush to your head, and either insanity or stupidity takes over you when you try to detangle yourself from Jake all at once, releasing your hold on his arms and leg as you attempt a half baked lunge towards Bob’s neck and away from further humiliation that only leads to you nearly falling head first off of the Ikran and towards your greatest fear.
“Jesus- Kid!” A strong arm pulls you backward, saving you from hurtling off to certain death but putting you back into the situation you were trying to escape, his thick bicep holding you tight around the shoulders and pressing you into his body. “What the hell are you thinking?” His voice reverberates in your ear, anger or irritation, whatever the tone was it had you blinking back tears.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry!” The apologies flow out of you as the tears wish to, your attempts to wriggle out of his grasp in vain as he only pulled you closer, uttering soft words that you couldn’t hear through the blood rushing to your ears. Your hands reaching to pull at the arm that imprisoned you, every inch of your body moving in the attempt you escape his grasp and further mortification, your nails were much sharper in your Avatar body, but Jake was not as deterred by their assault as Norm had been. “Oh Eywa just let me fall, I’m never getting on one of these things again, you might as well give up–”
Your spine stiffens as he says your name, voice booming to interrupt your shrill rambling.
“Fuck– stop moving.” He orders, and you realise he’s breathing heavily, his chest pushing against your back as it rises and falls in quick succession as if he’s trying to catch his breath. His bicep tenses, still pressing you securely into his body as he brings you below the treelines and your body relaxes as you see the ground approaching and the comfort of fresh earth below your feet and the omatikaya’s former settlement.
Your body jolts against Jake’s, the landing a little too rough in his rush to get you on solid ground. He grunts, like the wind has been knocked out of him and as quick as he is to break Tsaheylu, he isn’t so fast to let go of you.
“Jake?” You ask, peering over your shoulder as far as his grip would allow. Your body might have relaxed, but he appeared to have picked up all of the tension you’d lost. His eyes were squeezed shut, nostrils flaring in a sharp intake of breath.  Your heart drops, the last person to show understanding for you had finally lost his patience. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to freak like that. I’ll call Norm and get him to pull me out of the link so you can take my body back.”
A hand stops you before you can reach your comm, a hand stops your wrist, and when you look around his eyes are open and there’s something in them that you’ve never seen before. No one has ever looked at you like this. Not in any body. Not with the hunger you see looking back at you.
And then you feel it. Hard and thick against your lower back and you realise why he’d been desperate for you to stop moving. The heat that rises to your cheeks pools between your legs as you realise that you had done that to him, however unintentionally. It could’ve been just a natural reaction, something he couldn’t help, you had been grinding against him in your escape attempt and despite appearances, he was only human.
But you couldn’t believe that. Not as you hold his gaze, neither of you able to look away. Not when he’s looking at you like he’s about to make the biggest mistake of his life, his arm dropping as he releases his hold on you, only for his hands to find your hips, his fingers gripping at your skin. The silence is deafening, only filled with both of your heavy breathing until he breaks it, voice rougher than you were used to.
“Damn, kid. You really are trying to ruin me, aren’t ya?”
Sneaking Out
Tumblr media
Neteyam x Metkayina!Enby!Reader
Warnings: cliche lovey dovey stuff - like actual CRINGE, fluff
Summary: Neteyam sneaks out to see you, but his dad catches both of you and tells y’all to get your asses back to bed.
UNDER THE GUISE OF midnight and guidance of the twinkling stars, Y/N crept out of their family’s marui pod. The woven bridge connecting the homes sunk slightly with their weight. Y/N took each step with a spring of excitement. They stopped when they were at the edge of the cluster of pods, their wide fin-like tail swaying back and forth like a thanator pup.
Y/N’s hands were clasped together behind their back, their large turquoise eyes fluttering with anticipation. They suddenly straightened their posture, brushing their stray dark coils away from their face, noticing the approaching presence of a tall figure.
The silhouette carried himself with such confidence, such integrity and calmness that it wasn’t hard to figure who it was. The beige trampoline-like pathway creaked with his footsteps, sinking slightly with his weight.
“Y/N,” Neteyam said softly, stopping right in front of them. His hands caressed the sides of their teal face, gently stroking their cheeks with his thumbs.
“Neteyam,” Y/N smiled with their own hands holding onto his blue wrists. “What took you so long? You’re usually here before me.”
Neteyam rolled his eyes, letting go of their face. The Omaticaya slowly sat down, his feet dangling above the rippling water. “Took a little longer for everyone to fall asleep,” Neteyam answered.
Y/N sat besides him, jokingly kicking his swinging feet. They looped their arm through his, their warm bodies slightly pressing against each other. Y/N hummed, leaning their head onto his shoulder, “Are they doing okay?”
“Yeah…” Neteyam trailed off. He looked down at Y/N, then back at the water. He slowly repeated himself, this time more affirmed, “Yeah. I think we’ve gotten used to it — living here.”
Y/N intertwined their fingers with his, their thumb tracing a prominent vein on the back of his hand. They smiled sadly, trying to find something comforting to say. “When the dreamwalkers are gone, you can return home, right? Everything will be back to normal.”
Neteyam’s eyes narrowed, he scoffed, nudging them, “And leave you?”
“Nothing is permanent,” Y/N said simply. They lifted their head and squeezed his hand.
“Y/N,” he said sternly, pushing their shoulder. He didn’t like the sudden tone shift. It seemed unnatural to Neteyam, dwelling on things too far into the future. There were too many outcomes, and that greatly upset him. Neteyam frowned, “Don’t say that.”
Perhaps their belief was rooted in the way of water, the surroundings Y/N had grown up with. It didn’t hurt — knowing things came to an end, regardless of how. Y/N shrugged, “It is true. Energy is the only thing that stays, Neteyam. It changes from in the world around us.”
His blue lips turned into a toothy smile, which surprised Y/N. “Do you think love is energy too then?” Neteyam asked.
They rolled their eyes, pondering the question for a moment. Y/N pulled their hand away from his, brushing his braided locks behind his large ears. Their delicate fingers grazed the plume shaped leaf he wore in his hair, playfully observing his other accessories.
“Yes, I suppose I do,” Y/N replied quietly. Their eyes roamed across the luminescent freckles on his face to the darker stripes that patterned his entire body.
“Then I’ve loved you since the universe was born. I’m sure we were the oldest stars, stars that died together,” Neteyam plucked their hand away from his head, clasping both of his around it. He kissed Y/N’s knuckles, “I’m sure people still admire us, even after we’ve burnt out. I’m sure your soul is still starlight, and it has guided me back to you.”
Y/N’s ears perked up, his wordy sentiment seemingly unprecedented. They turned away from him, bashful from the heat painting on Y/N’s cheeks. They scoffed, trying to drown out the blush, “Uh, did you come up with that on the spot?”
“Right now?” Neteyam shook his head, chuckling, “No, I thought of it when I first saw you.”
Y/N eyed him, not totally convinced. It came out natural, too natural — Y/N giggled, imagining him reciting the same speech alone, pacing back and forth. They kissed his cheek, “Neteyam the mighty poet, huh?”
“The mighty lover,” Neteyam corrected, and Y/N scoffed. He grabbed their chin, pulling their face close. Their foreheads pressed against each other. He mumbled, “Lovers can be anything if they’ve found the right person.”
Y/N pushed him away, dramatically gagging at his corniness. “I’ll feed you to an akula. Stop it,” Y/N huffed. “You’re so gross. I hope you don’t pass through the Eye of Eywa.”
“Agreed.”
The two Na’vi teenagers whipped their heads around, their widened eyes falling upon Neteyam’s father. He towered over them with a questioning expression, his dark brows furrowed as his hands rested on his hips.
Neteyam stumbled onto his feet, pulling Y/N up by their arm. He lowered his head, ears flattening against his skull with embarrassment.
“What the hell are you doing out here?” Jake sighed, grabbing his son’s shoulder and pulling him aside.
Neteyam shrugged meekly, mumbling, “I just wanted to see them.” He glanced over at Y/N, who was awkwardly backing away slowly.
“You’re not slick, Neteyam,” Jake said. He turned, grabbing Y/N by their forearm. “I’m not done with you.”
Y/N ocean eyes fell upon their feet in sheepish silence. “Sorry,” Y/N spat out nervously.
“How long has this been going on, huh?” Jake prodded. His arms toned arms crossed over his chest. There were a few drops of silence, it was deafening like the beads of a necklace scattering across the floor. Jake nudged Neteyam again, who poked a sly glance at Y/N.“I’m talking to you — either of you,” Jake repeats, “How long has this been going on?”
His son finally spoke up, “Not long, sir.”
Jake nodded his head, huffing, “I hope not. That was the corniest shit ever. I didn’t teach you that.”
“Uh…” Neteyam blinked, slowly lifting his head to look at his father. “I’m sorry?”
“You know how late it is? Too late. Get your ass back to bed, Neteyam,” Jake shifted weight on his feet, looking between the two of them. He sighed, “We’re talking about this in the morning. Go. I don’t want to see anymore sneaking around. It’s not safe, understood?”
“Yes, sir,” Neteyam affirmed. Y/N nodded, and he shot them an apologetic look. His father motioned for his son to return to the marui pod, and Neteyam obediently followed. His ears drooped with disappointment of their time getting cut short and ultimately embarrassment.
Y/N stood there, watching the two silhouettes retreat. Y/N cursed under their breathe, the sounds of waves lapping up a distant shore replying.
- "she said she wish there was two of me."
"Fuck, brother. If I knew she was this loud, I would've stuffed my loincloth in her fucking mouth." A voice grunted, large hands planted on your waist.
As the figure bent you over with one hand at the back of your neck, your cheek mushed onto the mossy ground. With a harsh thrust, they chuckled teasingly as you whimpered quietly.
A deep chuckle erupts from above you, a soft hand placed on your cheek, soon tangled in your hair pulling your head to meet his gaze.
"I'm sure Mother has told you how to treat a woman properly, hasn't she, To'owan?" Neteyam says to his brother, To'owan. Neteyam smirks at your submissive figure, teary eyes and puffed-up cheeks. He gets on his knees to face you properly, while To'owan grabs the back of your hair, pulling harshly for your back to meet his chest.
Your drunken lustful eyes gazed strongly at the figure who kneeled before you.
"Too much of a slut that you need me here to watch you get fucked, baby?" Neteyam smirked, his hand trailing up your waist to lightly slap your face. He chuckles when he hears you whimper.
To'owan groans when he feels you clench around his member. One hand is wrapped around your stomach and the other stays wrapped in your hair. You moan slightly when his lips leave soft and delicate kisses along your decorated neck.
"Move along, Wan. You've had your fun," To'owan glares at his brother when he was enjoying his sweet time with you.
To'owan rolls his eyes before tapping your thigh to lean forward. Doing so, he teasingly pulls out of your nectar, watching you squirm at the feeling. Slapping your ass harshly while he chuckles.
"Come here," Neteyam nods his head, his thick member poking through his awfully tight loincloth. With weak legs, you slowly crawl over to Neteyam's kneeled figure. To'owan's eyes trailed up your thighs and to your cum filled pussy, his white residue running down your thigh, causing him to chuckle at your weak attempt at crawling.
You lean your cheek on Neteyam's thigh, whining at him to take his cloth off. He sits you comfortably on his lap, each hand wrapping around your waist. "How bad do you need it, Sevin? [pretty]"
"So bad," you whine, rolling your bareness on his covered member.
Neteyam leans back a little, with enough space for your hands to touch the straps of his loincloth. Letting you, his sweet, pretty girl, take the lead. Knowing you were sore from the previous rounds. Knowing how rough you liked it when his brother was on you, mercilessly on your pretty behind. He loved it when you fucked yourself on his dick.
"Then go on, baby, that dick is all yours."
“What is that?” Neteyam asks, curiously peering over his little sister's shoulder to see what she fiddled around with. Her eyes furrow with concentration, her tongue haphazardly sticking out between her lips as she weaves the twine carefully.
“It’s a bracelet” Tuk states, not moving from her position on the mat. Neteyam opts to sit beside the girl since it was Lo’ak’s turn to help Neytiri prepare dinner tonight. He decided to indulge in his little sister's affairs seeing he was free.
“Is it for me? That is my favorite color” Neteyam points out with a warm smile. He points to the shiny stone she had added to the bracelet. It wasn’t perfect, it had twine sticking out here in there making it look a little messy. The weaving wasn’t consistent as many parts were either too loose or too tight. But nonetheless you can tell it was made with love, and Neteyam felt his heart swell thinking Tuk was making him such a wonderful gift.
Tuk snorts out, her eyes glancing at her hopeful brother. “No! It’s not for you!” She says, sticking out her tongue.
Neteyam frowns scooting closer to her. He nudges her shoulder making her hide her bracelet in the process.
“Not for me? Then for who?” Neteyam asks, a sting of jealousy running through him. Due to his rigorous training he hasn’t been able to spend much free time with his siblings. Especially Tuk. He had felt like the wedge was getting bigger in between him and his youngest sibling. He desperately wanted to mend their relationship . And her making a bracelet not for him only dampened his mood.
“It’s for Y/n '' Kiri pipes up. She places the bowls on the mat while helping Neytiri and Lo’ak. Neteyam furrows his brows at the unknown name.
‘Y/n….who is Y/n?’
“Who?” Neteyam asks as his entire family slowly situated themselves in a circle. Kiri helped Neteyam pass each bowl as they filled it up with food. Lo’ak sat down with a thump, his shoulders relaxing.
“Tuk’s teacher? The pretty one.” Lo’ak adds, popping a piece of fruit into his mouth. He quickly swallows it when Neytiri glares at him for talking with his mouth full. Neteyam turns to Kiri, he knew of Tuk’s classes but he had never heard of an ‘Y/n’. He sometimes caught the end of Tuk’s incessant ramblings on how great her classes were but he never asked further regarding the subject.
“You’re making a bracelet Y/n? That’s amazing Tuk, Y/n will love it” Neytiri hums, her smile widening as she catches a glimpse at Tuk's hard work. The frown on Neteyam’s face deepens. Did everyone know of this Y/n? How had he missed her?
“I hope so, I used her favorite colors!” Tuk says taking out the piece, her family peering down at the woven bracelet. Lo’ak bites his tongue from letting a rude comment slip through. He simply nods, looking down at his food.
“It’s beautiful”Jake agrees, delicately taking the bracelet that seems to disappear in his large hands. Neteyam looks down to his plate, picking at a piece of fruit. It didn’t help that he felt jealousy over a stranger he didn’t even know. But it was a stranger that the family was well equipped with. He felt left out.
“Speaking of Y/n, I won't be able to pick and drop off Tuk for this week,” Kiri says, slowly chewing on her food. Neteyam and Jake both look at her in question
“I would like to shadow Mo’at for the week. She suggested it” Kiri adds, Neytiri nods in acknowledgement.
“I can do it! I’ll pick and drop off Tuk!” Lo’ak is quick to pipe up, his tail swishing excitedly at the thought. Neteyam’s eyes widen at his brother eagerness. Jake groans, handing the bracelet back to his daughter who pouts.
“No! When you drop me off you’re always late! Plus you never actually drop me off, you’ve never even introduced yourself to Ms. Y/n '' Tuk complains, causing Lo’ak to scoff.
“Also may I remind you that you’re still grounded, son” Jake reminds him, his eyes boring into Lo’ak who looks away. He had been dying of boredom over the past week as he paid for his latest screw up. He desperately needed something else. Something to occupy his time and provide some sort of distraction.
And visiting a certain pretty girl with the excuse of escorting his little sister seemed like the perfect distraction. Even though he never really got the courage to actually even utter a simple greeting her way, always opting to stay a good few feet when he used to drop Tuk off. That didn’t stop him from watching her from afar though, always admiring her from a distance.
“But dad-”
“No buts! End of discussion” Jake says sternly. Lo’ak’s ears flatten as he glares at the bowl situated on his lap. His eyes twitch in agitation at his fathers decision.
“Neteyam?”
“Yes sir?”
Neteyams ears twitch, his body turning to face his father who regarded him. Jake’s eyes wander around his family as he formulates a plan for the upcoming week taking into consideration what his eldest daughter had told him.
“I’ll rearrange your schedule, you’ll be dropping and picking up Tuk for the entirety of this week '' Jake declares. Lo’ak scoffs loudly, munching  on his food with mild annoyance. Neteyam’s body stiffens. He felt mixed emotions run through him as he mindlessly nodded. He felt disappointment knowing he’d have to sacrifice some of his daily training and lessons to accommodate Tuk. But a part of him was curious.
Very curious to meet this so called ‘Y/n’
Tuk jumps up and down giddily on her way to her anticipated class.She skips along Neteyam who walks with a smile. He enjoyed seeing her happy. He saw how she held a tiny pouch that Kiri crafted for her easily this morning to ensure the bracelet stayed neatly tucked away till she handed it off.
Neteyam looks forward to the tent he was instructed to drop Tuk off to. Children around Tuk’s age surround a female Na’vi squealing in happiness. The figure who they crowded must have Y/n, her slender back facing Neteyam as he nears them pulling Tuk along. He knew he was a tad bit late today, he had forgotten his new duty when he woke up that morning.
“Can we go to the river today Ms. Y/n?”
“No! Can we go to the flower beds? I wanted to finish the crown you taught me to make!!”
“We did that last week Sa’ylu!! Let’s do something fun today!”
The children chatter with their eager requests causing the female Na’vi to giggle, shushing them down. Neteyam smiles to himself. She seems to have a lot of patience, especially as some of the kids tugged at her for her attention.  He felt pity knowing this teacher had to deal with a handful of them on the daily.
“Quiet down children, we have a big day planned ahead of us. Let’s just wait until Tuk gets here” the soft voice replies back patiently. Neteyam quirked an eyebrow in confusion as to why she sounded so young. She sounded as young as him, weren’t teachers supposed to be…older?
‘She sounds….angelic?’
Upon hearing her name Tuk rips her hand from Neteyam’s grasp, running  a few feet towards her friends. She greets everyone with a huge smile immediately bringing out her punch to show off what she had made.
“I’m here Ms. Y/n! I’m sorry I’m late, my brother had to drop me off today” Tuk informs before being swept away from her friends. They eagerly crowd her to inspect her handiwork.
Neteyam throws his sister an unimpressed glare before turning to the teacher ready to apologize. He had forgotten about dropping her off earlier in the day which is why they were late this morning to begin with. He was ready to take the blame.
Y/n turns around, a small smile placed delicately over her lips. Neteyam feels himself standing stiffly at the sight, a shiver running down his spine upon eye contact. He felt his jaw hang slightly ajar as he gawked at her beauty. Neteyam’s eyes widen as he realizes the teacher, Y/n, was around his age. She was far too young to be a teacher. And way too pretty, just as Lo’ak had claimed.
In fact, Lo’ak’s words didn’t serve justice, she was beautiful. Breathtaking even. Her eyes shined brightly under the sun as she smiled politely at him. She had such a calming aura surrounding her, it made sense as to why children were drawn to her. As if she were a magnet.
Neteyam couldn’t believe that he had missed her, never noticed her amongst the crowds. She looked hard to miss, her beauty striking and eye-catching. Neteyam slightly cursed himself for not getting involved with Tuk’s classes beforehand.
“Hi there, you must be Lo’ak?” Y/n asks, her voice delicate as she steps closer to the gawking boy. She squints her eyes, her brows slightly furrowing as she realizes that the boy in front of her wasn’t the boy that usually stood far away when dropping Tuk off.
Shaking his head he quickly clears his throat, he felt himself frown at her words.
“N-no! I’m Neteyam…..your  Ms. Y/n?” He asks, his eyebrows still raised in question. Y/n’s eyes widen her face flushing purple at his words. Neteyam wanted to take a picture of her expression, he couldn’t even get mad when she looked so cute while embarrassed.
“My apologies! I just assumed that when Tuk meant her brother, it would be Lo’ak” she admits, her eyes dancing around to avoid looking him in the eye. She felt horrible for mixing the names up, especially since she messed up the next Olo'eyktan’s name.
“It's no problem, usually Lo’ak would drop her off when Kiri couldn’t. It’s just he has to pays his dues first, he’s grounded” Neteyam smiles at how easily he was able to talk to her. It was a miracle she wasn’t able to hear the rapid beating of his heart.  Neteyam held himself firmly against the ground as he held back the urge to wag his tail. He was enjoying the interaction greatly.
“Ah, typical of Lo’ak-” Neteyam frowns at her words.
‘Typical of Lo’ak?’
Lo’ak did seem friendly when the family mentioned her, had the two become close? Lo’ak did call her pretty, he even wanted to drop off Tuk in order to see her. Neteyam felt that familiar gut feeling of  jealousy overcome him.
“-Is everything alright with Kiri? She usually drops off Tuk. And on time” Y/n teases causing Neteyam to flush bright purple.
“She had some lessons with Mo’at…I’m sorry about that. It won't happen again.” Neteyam informs, scratching his neck out of nervousness. Y/n flashes a kind smile at his apology before glancing back at the children. They seem to get more and more impatient as they wait for their favorite teacher.
“Well, thank you. Will you be picking her up as well?” Y/n asks, peering up at Neteyam. Neteyam felt his heart surge, she looked so delicate he felt the sudden urge to pull her in for a hug. Looking all cute and small should be illegal.
“Yes, I’ve been tasked to for the entire week” Neteyam explains, fighting the heat along his cheeks. He hadn't noticed her amongst his people before, she seemed calm and soft spoken. It made sense as to why she never caught his eye before, he didn’t notice anyone that wasn’t outgoing as he was always too busy training and aiding his father, he wishes he knew her before though, her presence seemed to scream out to him.
“That sounds good, guess I’ll be seeing you around often?” Y/n says softly. Neteyam finds himself gazing at how her long lashes flutter as she blinks. He felt a lump form in his throat, and unexplainable heat talking over his body. Unable to form words he simply nods his head. The future of the clan turned to a puddle of mush at the mere interaction with a girl he never met.
Y/n giggles before throwing  him one more smile. She quickly walks to her students who cheer at her arrival. Neteyam watches as she takes the kids with her towards the forest.
Neteyam clears his throat before deciding to sprint away. He didn’t know why but something about her was really unique and eye-catching. He decided right then and there that accompanying Tuk too and  from classes wouldn’t be a bad thing.
The next few days Neteyam made it his mission to arrive on time every day. He woke up bright and early, his heart racing at the mere thought of seeing Y/n again. He would wait for Tuk, always having the breakfast ready to go. They would always arrive at least 30 mins earlier than the other kids, a perfect excuse to be alone with her. Neteyam would cherish those 30 vital minutes to converse with her and get to know her better.
From these interactions he's learned alot from her, and also realized why he never saw her around in the first place. She had a lot to do, a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. She had a little brother she had to take care of, who accompanied her driving her classes as a student. Other than that she spent the majority of the day foraging and hunting for herself and her brother.
Y/n had lost both of her parents long ago and it's been just the two of them ever since. She has been so caught up in taking care of her sibling and teaching she barely had time for any leisure activities. Neteyam always found himself smiling at her, gazing at her face as she relayed her stories.
He couldn't help but grow to admire her more and more, he loved how she cared for the children. How strong she was providing for herself and her brother from such a young age and the fact she was happy. She always looked on the bright side, her smile never weaving which only proves how strong the little girl truly was. Just as the saying goes, the saddest people have the brightest smiles.
On multiple occasions Neteyam offered his help, during small breaks he would locate the group and approach them. Always offering to hunt for her, help her with the students. He knew he had great skills, something that should help her out.  Y/n always declined claiming she would feel bad for taking the the future clan leaders help without giving something in return.
But Neteyam would have done anything she asked in a heartbeat. Because he slowly began to realize what the fluttery feeling meant as their interactions grew. He was infatuated with her, he was in love with her.
Neteyan immediately confronted Kiri regarding the realization when he caught he in between her classes. Kiri immediately became supportive, claiming he should start preparing courting gifts as many other Na’vi men have also noticed how amazing Y/n.
“Where are you going?” Lo’ak asks, petting his Ikran who cooes under his touch. They had just finished patrol and were getting ready to head home. Lo’ak noticed how Neteyam quickly began discarding his gear and how he hurriedly bid his Ikran goodbye.
“To pick up Tuk” Neteyam says fixing his hair off the leaves that got stuck. Lo’ak frowns at his words, his gazing following his Ikran who flew away after he bid farewell. He clears his throat of the raspiness.
“Isn't it early? They're not done till much later” Lo’ak informs watching Neteyam get restless answering his questions.
“I know, but Y/n and the children are picking fruit today. I thought it would be nice to help them out?” He shrugged. He misses that flash of jealousy that overcomes his little brother's face.
“Y/n? You call her Y/n?” Lo’ak spits, her eyes narrowing at his older brother. Neteyam’s ear twitches to his brother's tone.
“Yes, were quite acquainted now so she wanted me to call her by her name. We are the same age after all” Neteyam turns to his brother, his broad shoulders stiffening at his brother's expression.
“Ah I see…Well today is that last day right? You won't need to drop Tuk off anymore right?” Lo’ak asks, walking past Neteyam. He grits his teeth following after Lo’ak into the village.
“Yes, but it's not like I'm not going to see her around '' Neteyam says, not realizing Lo’ak clenches his fist at his words.
“Is it true?” Lo’ak asks, turning to face his brother. Neteyam stops abruptly, tilting his head to the side in question.
“I overheard you speak to Kiri…are you planning on courting her?” Lo’ak notices a deep blush spread across his older brother's features. Neteyam clears his throat, his eyes dancing around awkwardly.
“Yes…yes I do” he says shyly. Lo’ak slumps his shoulders in defeat. He watches sadly at how happy his brother looked, the look of pure love and adoration that radiated off of him at the mere mention of the girl. He would be lying if he said he didn't catch how Y/n gazed at Neteyam when he could sneak nearby. He saw how her eyes filled with awe as he interacted with her students. That's when he knew. Lo’ak knew he didn't stand a chance.
“Good luck brother, I hope it all goes well” Lo’ak says softly. Neteyam smiles wide at his brother encouraging words. Neteyam sees his warrior friend wave to him calling him and his brother. Slightly puzzled they walk to the boys who smile wide. Neteyam noticed how they kept glancing back at a forming group, his eyes widen noticing the familiar students crowding and chattering amongst themselves.
“What is it? What's wrong?” Neteyams asks, his eyes dancing from student to student. He seems to drown out his friend's words as Tuk emerges from the group running towards her brothers in a hurry.
“Lo’ak! Neteyam!” she calls, causing Neteyam’s heart to drop to his stomach. With his friend and brother he walks through the crowd, his eyes immediately falling to Y/n. Her leg was bangaed up in a cloth as she held a weeping boy in her arms. Cradling him tightly against her. Tasun, Y/n’s brother stood next to her, his eyes glistening with tears as well.
“Ms. Y/n saved  Ar’utey from falling from a great height! Isn't she amazing!” Neteyam overhears Tuk praising her teacher from beside him, but all he could focus on was the girl who smiles carefreely in front of him. As if she didn't have her leg busted. All she could focus on was the whimpering boy in her arms.
“Y/-n?” Neteyam whispers, stepping closer. Some of the students now take notice of the warriors around them including Neteyam. Some smile at his presence noting his worried glance.
“Karyu '' Neteyam says louder, being mindful of his friend's eyes that are trained on him the entire time. Y/n’s head snaps up, her eyes shining with happiness when her eyes land on Neteyam.  Lo’ak gulped audibly at her stare, glancing around not to openly gawk at her. She had small cuts here and there including the injured leg, her hair disarray and she still looked breathtaking.
“Well, if it isn't my oldest student” Y/n teases. She holds her student tightly in her arms as she rocks him back and forth. He didn't seem to have any visible injuries but looked terribly shaken up.
“What can I do for you? You look worried?” Y/n furrows her eyes as Neteyam inhales deeply. His heart rate had been beating like crazy, the feeling of butterflies and fear mixing together.
“Maybe I could help you out? What happened? Are you ok?” He asks frantically crouching down to her level. She smiles warmly, shaking her head.
“It's nothing, I'm fine. Just a minor injury, nothing I cannot handle, mighty warrior” Y/n says teasingly, causing a small smile to break through on Neteyam’s face. He felt his shoulder relax as the commotion around them got louder. An older navi woman rushes into the center, her eyes falling on her son.
“Ar’utey!!”
Neteyam gets up, giving them space as the mother couches down to check on both Y/n and her son. Neteyam leans back, his friend whispering amongst themselves. Lo’ak lets out a breath he's been holding.
Neteyem's eyes bore into the girl a few feet away from him, his heart clenching at the sight. He couldn't seem to have found a more amazing girl. Such a kind spirit, filled with happiness. She was perfect, her love for her students, her motherly nature. It made Neteyam dream about her, fantasize about a future with her. And he couldn't think of anything else. She took up his entire mind, his entire  heart.
“Woah….who is that? She is…something” Neteyam overhears one of his friends whisper.
Neteyam smiles softly to himself watching how Y/n comforts the child in her arms, she places a soft kiss on his cheek causing the little boy to giggle. It was such an endearing sight, something to treasure. Neteyam glances at his friends whose eyes are still trained on her.
“That's Y/n, she's going to be the mother of my children”
