my fav flavor of inuokko is older (late 20s-30s) with a lot of regrets and bad memories but who have been together so long and know each other so well that they face all of it head on. there’s a few fics in this vein but i’ve never seen any older inok art!

anon thank you so much for putting older inuokko in my head. it unlocked a new department in my brainrot and i now have so many thoughts about them...

100% agree that older inuokko would have lots of regrets and bad memories, they've experienced all kinds of things in their 20s (and life in general) but it's mostly bad bc lbr the jujutsu world is not pretty and they did not have a kind childhood...but when they're together, it's easy to forget all the bad for just a bit.

one day i'll have a character sheet for both of them (i am very invested in this)! will just post yuta for now bc im struggling with toge haha. thoughts below on how yuta is in his 30s plus some long story rambling bc i cannot be trusted with a keyboard and brainrot...

i'd like to think that yuta grows to be a lot more confident in his skin and becomes the best at looking after his friends as compared to the past when they've had to look out for him and reassure him more. he's not shy or hesitant in his actions at this age and a lot of people around like to say he would have been a great teacher at the school.

at one point (as a 3rd year perhaps) he entertained the thought of becoming a teacher, but the moment he had imagined his students dying, it was an instant no. he knew he wouldn't be able to handle it. it's hard enough that he has nightmares of his friends dying/being hurt sometimes. there's been a lot of close calls over the years. at this point of time, he and toge are both freelance sorcerers and no longer under the school, kinda like mei mei and yuki.

will expand on this in the future but it's due to something that happened and had to do with both the inumaki clan and the higher ups that made yuta swear to never return to the school ever again. he actually had to be stopped from destroying the school after shit hit the fan and that's where he got the scars he has now from. sure he could have healed them easily, but he wanted a physical reminder (he never wants to forget what his foolishness could cost him) of sorts. it's one of the events that i would say was significant to his character development.

they move to kyoto shortly after that. i haven't fully thought out toge's story at this point of time but as yuta is maturing and growing into the person he's always wished to become, toge is crumbling. he has a lot of repressed family trauma that he's always been good at locking away in his mind, but after recent events he just broke.

and of course yuta is there for toge, especially when the latter has been his pillar of strength since they became important to each other. unlike the past, he can read when toge needs space or when he needs someone by his side. over the years he's just been able to sense what toge needs like it's something natural to him.

at toge's lowest points, he reminds him of just how loved he is everyday, as much as he can through words and actions. specifically i think yuta is really good at non-sexual intimacy (pls look at the bottom right sketch)!

one thing that has never changed about yuta tho is that he'll still panic over small things like when maki or toge fall sick. for example when he hears from panda that she's down with a cold, he takes the next bullet train back to tokyo as though she's on her deathbed lmao.

overall i think he'd be pretty stable in his 30s but also it wouldn't take much to make him spiral and lose it ^^

Charlie can't sleep all night even though she realizes that she is tired. It's almost noon but she didn't have the strength to get up yet and face everyone. Millions of thoughts are running through her mind. How could she say that to her dad? He was just trying to help. She didn't mean it. It was just in the heat of the moment. She doesn't really think that, right? She loves her dad. It's just not fair. That's no excuse. Wrong. Wrong Wrong. She's sorry. So so very sor-

Vaggie: Babe?

Charlie turns to the door and sees her girlfriend.

Vaggie: How are you feeling?

Charlie: Like I'm the worst daughter ever.

Vaggie comes to sit with her in the bed and hugs her lover as she starts to cry again.

Charlie: Why did I say that to him, Vaggie? He was just trying to help me. If it was any one of you, I would've done the same and made you rest.

Vaggie purses her lips, unsure of what to say.

Vaggie: Why don't you eat something first.

Charlie: is- is he down there?

Vaggie: I-

Before Vaggie could answer, Razzle enters the room in a hurry, gesturing wildly for them to come down. They both run to the lobby following the familiar.

Charlie expected another demon out to cause trouble in the hotel but it was-

Charlie: Aunt Bel?!

It was the Sin of Sloth, Belphegor, standing at the center of the lobby. The other guests watch in apprehension as Alastor's black tentacles are somewhat showing.

Charlie approaches her aunt slowly and notices that despite still upholding the regal stature, the bags under their eye are more prominent than before. The Sin gives a slight bow.

Belphegor: Princess. Your father was not at the palace. I would like to speak to him. Urgently.

Charlie: Oh um. Yes, he's here. He's in his room.

She beckons Razzle to fetch her father.

Charlie: Is something wrong?

Belphegor hesitates but doesn't answer.

Lucifer arrives downstairs the next moment.

Charlie sees the wet look in her father's eyes. Like he's been crying. Of course, he was. She knows her dad. He's her dad-

Charlie tries to catch her dad's gaze but he doesn't so much glance at her direction.

Lucifer: Bel.

The Sin of Sloth gives a deeper bow to her king.

Belphegor: Your Majesty. If I could borrow you for a moment down in Sloth. There is a... situation.

Lucifer adjusts his stance. None of the sins ever called him by anything other than his name before. That is unless there is something wrong or they fucked up big time.

Lucifer: And you went all the way from Sloth?

Belphegore: I- I do not feel it to be wise to discuss this matter over the phone.

That wasn't cryptic at all for the hotel residents.

Lucifer waves for her to come closer and she whispers something into his ear. Everyone was holding their breath.

As soon as she's done, Lucifer and her start moving.

Lucifer: I will be in Sloth. Alastor.

Alastor appears in a wave of shadows to his side.

Alastor: Yes, sire?

Lucifer: I will be unreachable until I resolve this. I'm sure you can handle keeping an eye on the hotel?

Alastor grins.

Alastor: I would be offended if you weren't.

Charlie: Wait! Dad! Please, can we talk before you leave?

Lucifer: Char-ch-

He stops himself and takes a deep breath.

Lucifer: Sorry, Charlie. We'll talk after.

Lucifer gives his daughter a small smile and squeezes her hand.

Husk: What the fuck was that?

Charlie could only stare as her father and aunt disappeared in a portal to the Sloth ring.

Charlie: I don't know.

well i've been around many a fandom block, but i'd say for current brainrot:

supergirl (mostly supercorp, but i have a smattering of rare pairs because women, amirite?)

swan queen

bumbleby (i also still have so many rosebird dreams i'll get there someday)

makayuro (with a smattering of rare pairs also because women, amirite?)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

well unsurprisingly, ever since plopping down on supercorp fandom, the numbers have been from there. but shoutout to my victorious fic from 2012 holding strong lol

evergreen, closest i get, not for nothing, you've got mail, and one way or another

5. Do you respond to comments?

yes yes absolutely!! sometimes i am late and sometimes i just leave it in there so i can have it stay unread but anyway i try to respond and i appreciate everyone who sends them to me. i have historically been a oneshot writer so it's been nice also to get comments on wips!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

oh shoot angstiest ending?? well i think i would say my supercorptober ficlet about memory loss of sorts might tick that (it ends kinda idk open but not bad, i will say)

but then there's also this one old soccer RPF i wrote that's more, idk, poetry than any real fic about one of them leaving lmao

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

the happiest ending? i mean all of them, i reckon. if they end up together or have a promise of together then they count lmao

8. Do you get hate on fics?

uhhh none that i've seen? i mean if it's in the comments, no? but if it's elsewhere, then also no? i have been fortunate in that way

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

OMG YES I AM FINALLY IN MY SMUT ERA

uh i reckon comedy smut for now (read DickFic here) but the day is young and my doc is empty so who's to say

but i have dreams for some sad smut because i'd like to develop the range LMAO

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

surprisingly, i do not. what i instead do is just little spin through five fandoms at any given time and just confuse myself that way

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

unfortunately yes. twice now. once was for my victorious fic that was used for a 5th harmony RPF lmaooo

and then on thanksgiving weekend, the first chapter of Crepe AU was posted by an anonymous for a The Wilds ship (but my friends rallied to get it taken down so i didn't have to send a takedown form to ao3 while i was traveling home)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

nope but that would be totally rad

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

i love fic writing group work so yes! i have a series of sad angsty women that i have with my best friend in my revue starlight fandom, and then, of course, @sideguitars and i have 'humans in the storeroom' (that reminds me it's my turn to write the next part smh)

i also like jumping into writing sprints or writing exercises with folks (like a round robin)

14. What's your all time favorite ship?

let's not do this, i shan't pick amongst my children

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

so far all my wips are things i wanna finish and will do my best to finish. i have a couple of retired wips that will just sit in my ao3 forever and i have made peace with them, though.

i wanna say characterization, pacing, emotional resonance, and a simple and natural writing style maybe

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

sorry no can do i love them all because i wrote them and there are so many things i enjoy about them. but i will say that the writing events circuit i've done this past year (supercorp bigbang, bumbleby big bang, and swan queen winter solstice) are born out of a lot of labor of love and i'm really proud of the work i've done for them.

and not for a writing event, but i am also extremely proud of re:live for mayakuro fandom-- that one makes me think that if i never wrote for that fandom again, that that's a really good fic to end on)

florist bokuto🥺 he would be the most helpful especially if you're not exactly sure what kind of arrangement you want yet. YES to rambling about flower meanings from him, he would! all the customers love him because now their bouquets are all the more meaningful and sentimental. 12/10 best florist. i think he would LOVE doing wedding and bridal arrangements because it's such a happy occasion and he loves being able to help people celebrate one of their most important days!🥳

Dropping random facts about my trollstuck AU on my silly little sideblog while the other people involved in it are asleep B]

So you've got Hal, see, and he's a fuchsiablood, so he's a seadweller

Yeah this mf wears a wetsuit everywhere (all the easier to clean the blood off of amirite)

Short for a fuchsiablood his age but like. Still over 6 feet tall (BEFORE HIS ADULT MOLT! He's gonna be like 11 feet tall after it :,) because even if I can't be absurdly tall he can)

Since """"biological sex"""" is even less of a thing for trolls than for humans, one could argue that it doesn't make sense for him to be trans in the first place since theoretically gender is arbitrary and every troll is inherently trans and intersex therefore none of them are, but he's still trans Because I Said So

Adding on to that, since he's a royalblood (and according to the wiki they're all female) everyone probably just went 'wait, MALE?????' and so he probably had The Trans Experience™ of being frequently misgendered by strangers. At least before he grew to notoriety

bitch why does misgendered have the red squiggly line under it it's a real fucking word

Similarly, there's a like. Biological response (I guess? I'm bullshitting here. It's pheromonal or some shit idk) to keep moirails from murdering each other when one is in a capital-r Rage (or even just regular pissed and murdery) and the other is within Murdering Distance (This is canon compliant as far as I know)

Hal literally stole someone's bones one time it's genuinely established canon (I'm not even kidding he telekinetically ripped out their fucking bones one at a time. He was very, VERY pissed and, well, in a Rage)

He changed his typing quirk at some point to match his moirail's more closely

this is why i shouldn't listen to spotify while brainrotting, especially not about your vigilante tiso au. run boy run by woodkid and against the tide by celldweller have tiso vibes, while paradise by coldplay fits marmu. if you listen to them you'll see what i mean. (one of the lines that hits the hardest is the final one in against the tide - "you'll leave me alone in this darkness, left to hold out... against the tide", which hurts more the longer i think about it)

Heavy agree on the “Run boy run” having major tiso vibes, and “Paradise” having major marmu vibes. Marmu has those vibes of holding out for a better time, dreaming of things going back to what they were before. Happy and together. Because that was nice, it was paradise. I had never heard “Against the tide” before so I have it a listen and

holy fuck the Tiso vibes

The vibes that hit like a truck when you listen because it just gives that energy of him releasing some of the stress and sorrow of being forced alone in this incredibly fucked up situation. In a way, Marmu is trying disassociate and hope her way through this horrible time, refusing to see the reality of a dark situation, whilst Tiso has no choice but to face it head on.

I also quickly scribbled stuff because holy fuck my heart.
