If Only I Could Remember My Name - David Crosby
So uh... A little behind the scenes here, I usually plan out the Wall of Infamy inductees like... Super early, like I may get a list done in January or March, because I really like doing this. I love looking at bad art and talking about it. In fact, I think I got this years done before I even posted last years list.
I mention this because... in January of this year, David Crosby passed away, a tragic loss that, while not surprising, was still felt by a lot of people.
And in a way, that does kind of change how you view things. When Chester Bennington died, I started hearing his pain, his cries for help in Linkin Park's music, to the point where I just can't listen to any of it anymore. In the same vein, this cheesy and silly cover where it looks like Crosby is crying a sunset, not too dissimilar to the cover for the NES game Shingen the Ruler, after his passing kinda becomes beautiful.
I think I'm gonna keep this on here to remind people, the perception of art does change, good art becomes bad and bad art becomes good, the art itself doesn't change, but the viewer does.

Arena - Todd Rundgren
Ooh, this one. So, Mr. Rundgren here is clearly jumping into a crowd, probably to crowd surf or enter a mosh pit, but uh... the angle of the shot, an the fact he's only wearing boxer shorts makes it look like he's gonna um... teabag someone. I mean there are only two hands up in the air, way too far apart to be one person granted, but for a raucous crowd that he is jumping into, why are their only two hands up?
Todd Rundgren is about to go full Halo victor on his crowd, drop a pair of Liptons, the way this angle is shot, it kinda looks like he's about to drop his nuts on your face, you the person who is looking at this album cover.
Gross.
