Me after 3 glasses of wine: I just wish we had gotten more Steve being an artist. I want to see Steve doodling on napkins, Steve having someone snap their fingers in his face to get his attention because he gets so absorbed in his work. I want to see Steve flipping through an old sketchbook the museum recovered that’s mostly drawings of Bucky because they were such good friends

I just skimmed through the art part of your blog and holy bajeebus your LMK art is so beautiful and the headcanon ideas you come up with are so good I wanna steal em-
Kinda wanna see like a part 2 of the little angst you did between MK and Macaque a while ago. It's so interesting and I wanna see Macaque's reaction in your art style. (You don't have to of course, it's just a suggestion [idk if i spelled that right])
Thanks for reading and hope you have a good day/night!
Hope this is to your liking ^^
Part one here

Okay so obviously I'm freaking out over the fucking ending of the episode
But there was a moment I noticed earlier when Hen and Eddie were tossing the ball around.
Chim comments on it saying "...it's unnatural, Hen. Like the two of you down there tossing that ball around." With his teasing smile.
My brain went directly to that being a joke about her being a lesbian, and how she doesn't 'play with balls' because of that and how, well, to Chim Eddie is straight so he also doesn't usually play with balls.
And the LOOK EDDIE SHOOTS HIM.
Like they chose to cut to Eddie. That was on purpose, it meant something!
And like.. could it be a joke about how they're not usually playing catch? Or that they're not... Athletic?? Or something??? Yeah maybe, but that doesn't fit, or make much sense if I'm honest.
So I'm sticking with it being a 'playing with balls' joke. And with Eddie giving Chim that look because he's queer and how dare Chim insinuate anything else

Genuinely wondering just how much the voids knew about the other contestants real life selves, like, Mikado didn't even know Kanade was a serial killer, he just brought the twins in for their loose connection to Tsurugi.
What really keeps me up at night is; did Emma knew Kokoro was an abusive parent? If she did that just adds a whole another layer to their interactions and Dra chapter 2's case.
Because Emma spent her childhood in an abusive household with her piece of shit father before she was saved by Utsuro and his luck, yet during the Sdra2 Killing game one of the people she interacts with the most is the one that grew up to use her own daughter as a lab rat for her experiments.
Which then leaves the implication that, if Emma knew about Kokoro's real world self, she was acting during the times where she was nice to Mitsume and tried to get her to open up more, because i genuinely can't think she would be that nice to someone who she knows is as bad as her father + it wouldn't be out of character for someone whose talent is acting.
This is such an interesting way to think of their relationship to me, especially when it ultimately ends with Emma killing Kokoro, a victim of child abuse killing a child abuser.
Tho i am inclined to believe Emma didn't know the truth about her since she doesn't seem to bear much hatred towards Mitsume herself in the ch2 post trial, and the anger she does display is potrayed as being because Kokoro triggered her trauma and not anything out-of-simulation related

Maybe the trick is to come up with the meta after I start writing. After failing to finish so many started stories, I got in the habit of having an outline and characters and themes before I started a story. But the stories I've finished lately have been much more spur-of-the-moment. I'll have a basic idea for what I want to happen in the story, start writing, and then start digging deeper as the stuff I write gives me new ideas about how the story should go and what the story means.
This means the writing process is a continuation of the fun brainstorming process, rather than a frustrating failure to live up to the cool story I came up with during the brainstorming process. I don't have to try to fit in all the cool foreshadowing and set up character traits or whatever. I can just write and have fun watching the story grow. It's not outlining or discovery writing or even "plantsing". It's just trusting that I know how to shape a story and letting myself have fun doing it. By letting the ideas take shape with the writing rather than coming up with too much cool stuff before.

it’s about the shift between meeting them and discovering their youth and their shyness and Romeo saying “I wish I was your bird” and Juliet saying “I can’t remember why I came back” (because she can’t handle looking in his eyes) and Romeo saying “I’ll just stay here forever looking at you until you remember it” and then suddenly remembering the gut punch of the prologue and the ending

for the ask game - I need to know what categories dabihawks and shigadabi fall under for u 👀
- @yinyuedijun
HI MAO I would be delighted!!!!! Thanks for the ask! =D
Shigadabi - Makes sense, compels me. Simple and clean. Actually tied with dabitwice as my favorite canon dabi ship
Dabihawks - THIS ONE IS LESS CLEAR. On one hand, there are SO many thematic parallels between these characters and I like the idea of pairing Hawks with loud emotional borderline manic characters to contrast his near terrifying control, so on one hand I wanna say Makes Sense, Doesn't Compel Me. But on the other hand, HORI NEVER FUCKING DID ANYTHING WITH THOSE PARALLELS!!!!!!!!! IT LITERALLY HOLDS ZERO WEIGHT IN REGARDS TO THE CANON CHARACTERS AND THEIR INTERACTIONS!!!!!!!! IT BUILDS UP TO NOTHING!!!! So in that case, I have to say Doesn't Make Sense, Doesn't Compel Me.
Unfortunately it will always be Doesn't Compel Me cause I do not like Hawks as a character specifically in regards to the canon. Idk how Hori did it, but he literally created a character that is literally Cop Incarnate, down to his patchy-ass goatee, and it REPELS me. It's like I've literally already been a room with this man irl and I could feel the slime from proximity.
(It doesn't help that Hawks has a lot of potentially interesting parts to his character, but Hori never takes them further than that. He's literally ONLY Cop Incarnate. Which is why I think I CAN be persuaded to read him in fic form, because sometimes those traits are explored and given the appropriate amount of screen time!!! So then he's still Cop but at least gets to be interesting about it!!!!!)
(also the dabihawks/dabixhawksxreader fics I have read have been.....................................................................................we'll say juvenile, to be nice)
(on that note, I will say that the porn that comes from those two is hot as hell!!!!!!!!! They be puttin them boys in situations!!!!!!! 👀👀)
Stick a ship in my ask box and I'll tell you which of these options it is for me!

If the Magnus Archives were a TV show...
Martin would have a cracked phone screen.
It wouldn’t be like, really badly cracked, just a little one in the corner that gradually got bigger and bigger, but you wouldn’t really notice until a rewatch with how subtlety it grew.
It wouldn’t be something anyone would comment on, just a little detail
It’d still be cracked when he worked for Peter - maybe now it finally gets mentioned, Peter says he can buy Martin a new one, Martin says no he’s fine with the one he’s got, Peter gets him a new one anyway but Martin choses not to use it.
Bit weird, but confusing, most people just forget about it though
Until Jon and Martins argument in s5, where he drops it again, we switch to the phone lying on the floor, the cracks grow and shift until you finally realise what It’s looked like this whole time:
A spiders web.
The cracks turn white, or white substance comes out of them or something, and they stitch the phone back together until all that’s left is that tiny crack right some the beginning.
Screen goes black.

i just think its like an incredible writing choice to throw up an entire arc where half the conflict comes from "ok. what if this leader acted like a complete hypocrite out of nowhere and none of their earlier characterisation mattered. and what if we just said ummmm darktail did this."

🗡😋 for Helene please
Silly hc and badass for, ahem, My wife (yknow i say that a lot but i do wonder if anyone gets 'the reference') also imagine this is all like... au, rewritten.. i Still haven't finished wap
I think she burns Pierre's house down! hashtag girlboss!/s Now that could count as either funny or badass, i'll go with badass. I like to imagine his mansion (whatever it is) as a vessel for a lot of things with it changing depending on who we're seeing the perspective of (inspired by movie, The House, go watch it Now) Helene seeing it with architecture similar to a bird cage, lifelessly beautiful statues everywhere, no exits, no love only cold marble. And after a final confrontation between her and Pierre (dave you missed the opportunity for a Helene & Pierre so bad) she manages the impossible task of burning the manor of stone To The Ground. Symbolism for how she challenges what's considered unthinkable in there society, destroying what held her and so many other people captive to made up expectations, allowing new foundations and real warmth to grow. Then she just fuckin' dips! She fucks off to Poland, and rolling into the silly hc
I imagine she's the real reason Anatoles married to that polish girl! Her and that girl are in love baby! She sends her letters in Anatoles name all secretive though there obviously written by her. I think Anatole despite not being into the girl, is definetly annoyed by it (his poor masculinity, Sad Face /j) and uses it as leverage against her which isn't funny but considering in My end She gets to happily run off to Poland to her lover while he dies of like Dysentery in War or Whatever/j is very funny.
