Shopping, Licenses, and Interships-Chapter 7
7:45 AM
We Are Number One™
exhausted: I'm goin home today bitches! they're finally releasing back upon this pitiful world after a week!
Dadzawa: and he's getting transferred to 1a today too.
chaoticgaydisaster: do you remember who did this, Hitoshi?
exhausted: no, I wish I did, but I don't. I only get flashes. My head got hit too hard I guess but I don't remember what happened well enough to know who did it.
exhausted: can we talk about literally anything else?
WHERE?: kay. how bout, do you want to go to the store with me and Touya later? we're getting our foods for the week. we can pick you up some stuff too.
exhausted: coolio. I need to pick up some stuff.
WHERE?: tell me a list so you don't forget anything, Hito. me and Tou always write our lists down, we'll write your stuff down too.
exhausted: kay. so I need rice, eggs, onions, scallions, tsuyu sauce, beef, chicken, shrimp, and pork for my lunches and you can bet your ass I'm picking up at least two other meal things but I haven't decided yet because the rest are dinners and I need my Mom's input.
Dadzawa: today's dinner is takoyaki and gyoza, tomorrow is your choice, Tuesday is oden and tempura, Wednesday me and your Dad need to agree on, Thursday is yakisoba-pan and ramen, Friday is your choice again, and Saturday is soba and curry bread.
exhausted: Eri already picked her two dinners?
stardust: yup!
exhausted: I'd have to say Monday is soba and yakitori and Friday is okonomiyaki and korokke.
Dadzawa: News from your Dad, Wednesday will be katsudon and onigiri.
stardust: WOOHOO!
exhausted: Yayy!
exhausted: let's go shopping, bitches.
WHERE?: Woo! Shopping day!
chaoticgaydisaster: We're going to the mall also btw.
exhausted: good, I need to get more clothes, half of mine are gone because of M****a.
WHERE?: time to spend my dad's money on nice clothes for my best friend.
exhausted: I love you, dude.
WHERE?: Love you too, Hito, now, let's go shopping.
2:46 PM
We Are Number One™
Dadzawa: Ah, that's where my son went today.
exhausted: it was fun, I got new sports bras.
Dadzawa: finally, we can burn the ones that are so old they're falling apart.
exhausted: they were spares!
Dadzawa: still burning them. love you, kid.
exhausted: hey, wait for me. I wanna burn them too!
3:17 PM
Izukrew
SmolMight: Is anyone else really concerned about Hitoshi? I mean, he got attacked and he won't say anything about it.
WHERE?: Izuku, I'm concerned, but it's none of our business.
SmolMight: You know what happened, don't you?
WHERE?: I may as well. But I'm not at liberty to say and Hitoshi doesn't need this right now. He went through something traumatic and I won't have you dredging it up again yet. He deserves to have more than a week to recover.
SmolMight: He'll be fine though, right?
WHERE?: He'll be okay. He's got all his friends and we'll help him no matter what happens.
SmolMight: We'll be the best damn friends to him ever!
4:41 PM
We Are Number One™
tailfloof: what's with the radio silence from all the former L.O.V.?
Emergency Exit: Kai had an allergic reaction so Tenko and Hari are with him in the ER. Atsuhiro had a meltdown and Touya is with him, Jin got hurt during a training drill yesterday and is being healed by Recovery Girl still, Himiko and Eri are at the their doctor today, Tami is working on changing her name legally today, and Shuichi is accompanying Tami.
tailfloof: Thank you inspector Iida for this enlightening information.
6:52 PM
We Are Number One™
exhausted: Mom, fashion show. I got new clothes.
Dadzawa: I know, I'm waiting in my room, Toshi. so is your Dad, Eri, and Ayane.
exhausted: Hells yeah! Family fashion show. I got a bunch of leggings.
Dadzawa: you can't just wear leggings, Toshi.
exhausted: And yet I do.
Dadzawa: you are an insufferable little gremlin child and you're lucky that I love you.
exhausted: That's the point.
8:39 PM
Trauma? Yeet. Memes? Yoink.
lapis: So how are the girls?
vulpix: All are good, they went to the store with us for food shopping.
wine: all happy.
thermostat: Good, I was worried because we haven't seen any of you in a week.
vulpix: yup. How are things back home?
thermostat: Well, it's okay. Nothing's changed much.
wine: what happened?
thermostat: Dad's setting me up for an arranged marriage now.
lapis: time to come home and beat our father's head in.
thermostat: Please don't, I don't want any of you going to jail over this.
wine: fine, but only because I respect your choices. but I will intervene if shit goes down.
vulpix: How are you okay with this?
thermostat: I'm not, but I don't want my brothers getting in trouble for me and me having to visit you idiots in a prison instead of at a school.
vulpix: As long as you know you can come to us if anything. And I mean ANYTHING happens to hurt you.
thermostat: I will, don't worry. And I'm taking care of the girls tomorrow because of you two's exam so I'll take them to school for you boys.
8:16 AM
We Are Number One™
cena: WHO'S READY FOR THIS LICENSING EXAM!???!!!!

Dadzawa: Child, you fill M****a's place. You're going to take the exam today with 1-A.
exhausted: Gimme a minute. Just a minor heart attack.
exhausted: WHAT THE FUCK!? I'm not ready! Mom, you gotta pull me from it! I can't do this!
donthugmeimscared: And all of us LOVs started at UA less than a month ago! You can't expect us to be able to pass!
Dadzawa: I'm sure you'll all be fine. I have faith in you. Now get on the bus, I'll be down with my son's present in a few minutes.
8:25 AM
We Are Number One™
cena: Todoroki is asleep again. Both of the twins are.
EdgarAllanCrows: what have I done to deserve such adorable goth best friends?
shadowclonejutsu: And I thought one twin was cute, turns out both are.
lostmymarbles: Firstly, they're IDENTICAL twins. Secondly, don't you hit on my man, Jin, or you'll lose an arm.
shadowclonejutsu: Alright, alright. Not flirting, just saying. I'm with Iggi.
eye gucci: Dam straight.
shadowclonejutsu: *Dam gay.
eye gucci: You right tho.
4:17 PM
We Are Number One™
WHERE?: I can't believe we failed.
WHAT?: It wasn't even my fault! I was a nice bastard! I didn't scare them, they're just wimps!
chaoticgaydisaster: I can't believe I need to retake that.
idontfeelsogood: I only failed because of a technicality, why are you all complaing!
Akimichi: What technicality?
idontfeelsogood: I may have blown up the rock beneath me by accident because I got startled by Gang Orca showing up and hurt one of the fake civilians a little bit...?
stopwatch: Darling.
idontfeelsogood: And then I broke my left knee and sprained my right from falling and couldn't continue to compete.
stopwatch: There we go. The fake civilians said they weren't mad, they know they startled you and it was fine, but you hurt yourself and couldn't continue so you had to be disqualified to prevent you from injuring yourself even more.
idontfeelsogood: I woulda been better as a villain. I can't even save someone without something going wrong.
Dadzawa: I already told you that you all can retake the exam soon so there's no harm done. And your legs should heal up by the time of the next exam, Tenko, don't worry. You are not better off as a villain, you do have good in you, I can see it. You're doing your best, keep doing it, and we'll all be here for you when you aren't able to.
idontfeelsogood: Hang on, I'm gonna cry really quick.
stopwatch: I am hugging my boyfriend as we speak!
donthugmeimscared: As am I!
HopeSummers: Only me and Himi failed from our class, didn't have enough power to get through it all.
Iron Man: we're all proud of you both for trying your hardest, though!
mystique: And we all appreciate your support, guys.
9:14 AM
We Are Number One™
cena: 3 of the Big Six!
mylittlepony: The other three from the Big Six are here!
cena: INTERNSHIPS!
donthugmeimscared: Great, another thing that none of us are gonna be able to do because no agency in their right mind would ever want us.
Dadzawa: I've already matched you all to agencies that would love to have you there. It's tapes to your dorm doors. Have fun picking, children. And Toshi, you're in my agency with Light Splitter and Biolumina and all of the like.
exhausted: I love my Mom. Have I ever told you all how much I love my Mom? Because it's a lot. And entire fucking lot.
Dadzawa: yes, you have. you brag your Mom is the best ever a lot. you've done it since you were about two.
exhausted: And my point still stands thirteen years later. Must be a winning arguement.

Selfish - Part 8
Tumblr media
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 | Part 12 | Part 13 | Part 14
Genre: angst, fluff, SMUT
Pairing: Jun x Reader / Chan x Reader
Word Count: 4.1k
Summary: You love them both and you’re torn. But…what if you didn’t have to choose?
You let Jun walk you home after that night. He waited for you to finish eating and then he took you home. The two of you didn’t do much talking after your confession. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to talk to you. It was just that he didn’t really know what to say to you.
He wanted you back; there was no denying that. He wanted to get back together but he didn’t know how you were going to handle loving him and loving Chan at once. Did this mean that you were going to end up choosing between the two of them? Did this mean that you were just going to leave them both alone? Jun wasn’t too sure about what your intentions were and he didn’t want to know; not yet.
Before you went inside your building, you hugged him. At that moment, he wanted to kiss you and tell you how much he missed being with you. But right now, it wasn’t appropriate. You needed to sort out your feelings and so did he.
“Get some sleep,” he said, pulling away from your embrace before he got carried away.
You nodded and said, “Good night, Jun.”
“Good night, Y/N…”
He watched you walk away and into the apartment building.
On his walk home, he reflected on the relationship. He wondered if he hadn’t messed up, if you’d still be with him.
He sighed as he walked into his apartment. Taesik was sitting on the couch, head back and snoring. Jun had left him to go find you and it seemed that he’d had a few more beers and fallen asleep.
Jun sat on the other side of the couch, kicking his feet up on the coffee table after grabbing the last beer from the fridge. He popped the can open and took a long swig. He nudged his friend with his elbow.
Taesik jumped up, startled for a second before he realized that you were back. “So, did you see her?”
Jun nodded. “Yeah, I saw her…”
Taesik frowned. “Did you get rejected or something? I thought you were trying to get back together…”
He sighed. “Can you believe that love can make you feel so happy one moment and then so worthless the next?”
“Love’s tricky. It’s not always happy…”
“I’m just so done.”
Taesik raised his eyebrows. “You’re done with her?”
“I’m just over everything. I’m gonna go to bed. You’re welcome to crash here. You know where everything is, right?”
And with that, Jun left his confused friend in the living room wondering what happened when he saw you.
Chan shut the door closed behind him. He couldn’t believe he’d been so stupid. How could he let something like that slip out? He knew that you had leftover feelings for him, but was it love? Did you still have love for him?
He’d won third place and even won prize money but all he could think about was you on the way home. He played back his whole relationship with you; how happy you’d been and how often he was able to make you smile.
He wanted to know how you really felt. He wanted to know what your exact feelings were. He had to know, sooner rather than later.
He picked up his phone and started dialing your number. You answered after a few rings. “Hello?”
“Hey,” he said. “I just wanted to say...I'm sorry about the other day. I was nervous and on edge. It just came out of me and i know it wasn't appropriate for me to just call you out of the blue like that. ”
“You weren’t bothering me, Chan...”
“Really?”
“No. We’re friends, right? If you have my number then you can call me.”
He let out a breath that he didn’t know he was holding in. He felt relieved. The past few days, it had been on his mind, bothering him. He didn’t want to be a burden to you, not ever.
He gained enough courage to say, “I was going to ask if you were doing anything tonight? I wanna see you.”
“Did you eat?”
“Not yet. Do you want to get some food?”
“Yeah. Let’s get appetizers at that Japanese restaurant you like.”
“Okay. What time should I meet you there?”
“Let’s meet in a half hour,” you said. “I’m going to change.”
“Okay. I’ll see you soon.”
Chan had already gone through a bowl of tonkotsu ramen, beef ball and chicken kabobs and shrimp tempura with you. You topped it off by ordering more gyoza and beer.
“I’m so full,” Chan said, laughing. “How are you still eating?”
“I didn’t have much for lunch.”
You took a sip of your beer. Before you came, you’d been worried about hanging out with Chan. Your last interaction had been kind of weird, so you were unsure of what to think of it. But things were going well. Things were going well in terms of conversation. It wasn’t awkward and it was almost like old times.
After dinner, you ended up back at your apartment.
“I missed this,” Chan said, walking inside.
You went into the kitchen, grabbing a can of beer for you both. “Me too…”
“I’ve been spending a lot of time alone these days.”
“Why?”
“Just school and work...Everyone’s been pretty busy lately.”
“I know you get stressed out easily…”
He sat on the couch. “I’m fine.”
You sat down next to him, making sure to put some space between you. You picked up the remote and started flipping through channels.
“Not even a little stressed? You know you can’t lie to me. I see right through you.”
“Hey! I came over to hang out not to get sentimental…”
“Okay, okay,” you said. “I’ll stop.”
As you flipped through channels, Chan said, “Stop! We never finished this movie. I can't believe we dated and you didn’t watch this movie all the way through…”
You giggled. “Because we always watched it before going to bed.”
“Unacceptable!”
“Or we'd get distracted…”
He laughed. “That was all your fault though…”
“I know. You know how I get.”
At that moment, he began reminiscing. He started thinking about your relationship again. “Yeah…”
A while into the movie, you said, “I miss you…”
“How can you miss me if I'm right here?”
“I mean I've been missing you.”
Chan let out a sigh. “I've thought about you too…”
You sighed, too. “How did we end up like this?”
“Life happens. Whenever you feel you have it worked out, things change.”
“I'm sorry for everything that happened. I made a stupid decision and tried to make it work.”
Chan was biting his lip, trying his best not to tear up. You’d apologized to him about the past before but something about this apology was more raw, more genuine.
“I really am sorry. I know I hurt you so much.”
“It hurt but I'm just happy we can finally talk again and move on.”
“Me too…” You cleared your throat. “It’s getting kind of hard to behave right now…”
Chan smirked. He could tell in your eyes. “I can tell.”
“Just kiss me once.”
“You know I won’t stop if we start…”
“I don’t care.”
With those words, he pressed his lips to yours. These were the lips he’d longed for these past few months. You were the woman he’d been craving. You were the woman he’d been missing.
He deepened the kiss, his tongue making its way into your mouth, twirling and twisting around yours.
When he pulled away, you asked, “Can I have you?”
He said, “Are you sure you want this?”
You nodded and stood up, holding out your hand. He took it and you lead him into your bedroom. You sat Chan down at the corner of your bed.
Without warning, you started stripping in front of him. It was nothing Chan hadn’t seen before but he was shocked at how straightforward you were being. Chan’s mind was racing. He was a gentleman but he was also a man who had needs, a man who had needs that hadn’t been fully met in months. You were the last person he’d been with and he licked his lips at the thought of having you again.
You were fully naked in front of him, your clothes in a pile at your feet. Chan’s mind raced with all the things he wanted to do to you. He loved when you took control. It was something that he really liked when it came to having sex with you. You were the first girl he loved, the first he’d ever had sex with. And to be honest, you craved sex more often than Chan expected. And he enjoyed having sex with you throughout your relationship.
Here you were now, most likely going to have sex yet single. The selfless part of him wanted to stop you, to tell you that maybe you should rethink things but he decided to be selfish for once. Perhaps if the two of you had sex, maybe you’d want him back. He felt sort of pathetic for thinking that but he pushed the thought away once you started walking toward him; it was your normal walk but you made it look so sexy.
You kissed him as you unzipped his jeans. He helped you get them off and before he knew it his boxers were down and his shirt was off, tossed off to the side somewhere. You started stroking him with your soft hands, taking his balls in your other free hand, palming them softly. Chan let out a soft sigh of relief. Your hands felt so good on his shaft. And it drove him crazy when you started licking at the tip, small, teasing licks.
You got in his lap and he already knew what you were about to do. You started grinding against his cock, using the pressure to hit the spots that would make you feel good. While you did, he made it a point to kiss you. You hummed into his mouth as he started moving your hips back and forth. He could feel your wetness on his skin.
He started planting kisses along your collarbone. As he did, he whispered, “It’s been so long, Y/N…”
You moaned softly, music to Chan’s ears. “I need you. Please…”
Chan already knew what you liked. He lifted you and flipped you over on the bed. You lay on your back, looking up at him and waiting for him to bring you pleasure. He stroked himself above you, his eyes never leaving yours. It wasn’t an awkward stare but one filled with lust and desire to have one another.
He pushed into you slowly, with small, shallow strokes. You liked to be teased in the beginning. After a moment, he pushed deep inside, filling you up with his length. You moaned out when he grabbed you by your thighs and thrusted into you harder and harder. He watched as your eyes went half-open, half-closed, in a state of euphoria and pleasure.
You wrapped your arms around him. “I forgot how good you feel…”
Chan bit his lip before forming a smirk. “Oh yeah?” He thrust into you, hard. “ I’ll just have to give you something you can’t forget...”
You moaned louder as he continued thrusting into you harder and harder. This was the kind of sex you loved. Chan knew that you liked gentle sex every now and then but he knew that you thoroughly enjoyed rough sex. And since you’d been in a frisky mood, he’d definitely give it to you roughly.
You gripped onto the sheets as Chan threw your legs over his left shoulder. He pulled you back and forth on his cock. You screwed your eyes shut as he fucked you. You felt close to your orgasm. That was one thing about Chan, you thought. He always seemed to know in what ways you needed him.
Just as you thought you’d get to cum, he pulled out of you abruptly. He flipped you over onto your stomach, arching your back before pushing in again. You yelped as he entered you again. He pulled your hips into him, back and forth back and forth. The only sounds that could be heard were the hard slapping of skin, your moans, and the occasional groans from Chan.
Chan reached underneath you and started rubbing your clit. You moaned louder and started grabbing for the sheets.
You could feel yourself getting closer again. Chan pulled you toward him and he wrapped his arms around you, fucking you deeply so that you would feel all of him.
“Chan,” you whispered, in a weak, shaky voice, “I’m cumming…”
He started rubbing your clit again. “Cum for me baby.”
Your soft moans turned into loud, audible ones that you were sure the neighbors could her but you didn’t quite care. You rode out your orgasm, limp from the lack of energy.
With two more hard thrusts, Chan pulled out and came over the edge. He cursed under his breath as he let his seed out and onto your ass. After catching his breath, he grabbed a towel from your bathroom to wipe you off.
You collapsed onto the bed, worn out. Chan lay next to you, just as exhausted.
He looked over at the clock, realizing that it was well after three in the morning. “Is it really that late?”
You turned to him with a smirk. “We were at it for awhile…”
Chan stood up, searching for his shirt. “I should get going…”
You sat up in bed. “Stay...It’s late. Just sleep here with me…”
Chan knew that he wouldn’t be able to resist that sexy pout of yours. So, he didn’t.
You woke up with Chan’s arms wrapped around you. You smiled at the thought of last night. The sex you had wasn’t planned; it was spontaneous, which you enjoyed most.
Things felt like they had when you were dating. You recalled the countless nights of watching movies, making love, and helping Chan edit his papers. Maybe this was what you needed again. Maybe Jun wasn’t the person you needed after all.
You got up out of bed, careful not to wake him. You headed to the kitchen, wanting to surprise him with breakfast.
A few minutes later Chan woke, realizing that you’d left the bed. He heard noise in the kitchen and the smell of cinnamon filled his nostrils. He stood up and followed the scent. Chan smiled upon seeing you, in an oversized shirt, cooking at the stove.
“Wow,” he said, kissing your cheek, “I even get breakfast in the morning? You’re amazing.”
You returned his smile and handed him a plate. “Eat a lot, okay?”
Jun didn’t know how to feel about what you told him. He was having a hard time accepting it, to be honest. He didn’t know what he should do or say, which is why he hadn’t contacted you. It was a situation where he should be the one to text first but he couldn’t bring himself to. If he did, he’d be brought back into a reality he might not want to be part of, a reality where you got back with Chan.
Over a week had gone by and he hadn’t spoken to you. You felt a little hurt by it, but you didn’t say anything. If he cared, he would’ve spoken to you. If he cared, he would’ve said something, anything. His lack of words left you wondering if he meant any of the things he said that night. It made you wonder whether or not he was upset about what you’d said that night. Maybe he took it as you wanting Chan and not him.
You loved them both, like you said. That part was true. You wished that things could be much simpler than they were. Things were complicated. It seemed that you couldn’t remain friends with Chan comfortable as long as you were with Jun.
There was a knock at the door and you knew that it was Na-Ri. You went to open it and found her grinning on the other side with a smoothie in her hand. As she came inside, she said, “Your favorite.”
You returned her smile. “Thanks.”
She flopped down on the couch, putting her smoothie on the coffee table.
You said, “I have so much to tell you…” You sat down next to your friend, smoothie in hand. Na-Ri raised her eyebrows in anticipation of the story you had to tell.
You told her everything, from that night Jun met with you to Chan’s phone call, including the fact that you had sex with Chan a few nights before. Her eyes widened in surprise. “So what are you going to do?”
“I mean...I don’t know. Jun hasn’t even spoken to me since that night and, honestly, I don’t know if he will.”
“Are you going to be okay if he doesn’t?”
“Well, I’d have no choice…”
“Say Jun doesn’t contact you again,” she suggested. “Would you get back together with Chan? That boy loves you. You can see it drawn out all over his face. I still don’t understand why you broke up with him in the first place.”
You nodded. “I want him back…”
Your friend smiled. “So go get him…”
“But I want Jun back too.”
“Are you really considering being in a relationship with both of them? I don’t think Jun would be open to it…”
“I want to talk to them about it…”
In all honesty, you didn’t know if being in a relationship could work, with the history you had with them both. Jun didn’t like Chan and you were sure that Chan didn’t like Jun either, not after that confrontation. Na-Ri was right. You weren’t sure what Chan would think of it. He seemed to be the more level headed one in the scenario but you were unsure of his stance on sharing. But you figured that Jun would have a hard time adjusting to something like this.
But you wondered if Jun would even speak to you. It hurt to know that he hadn’t spoken to you. You missed him, despite spending time with Chan the past few days. You enjoyed the time you were spending with Chan but you still longed for Jun, deep down.
Jun missed you. He needed to talk to you. He figured it would be a cheap move to just call you, as he picked up his phone. So he got up and grabbed his keys. He needed to talk to you in person.
So he found himself ringing your doorbell. When you opened the door, he wasn’t sure what to expect. He was met with a mix of emotions when you finally answered.
Part of you wanted to hit him and the other just wanted to hug him. But you didn’t do either. You stood there, with the door open, staring at him. He stared back, not opening his mouth to say anything. He was waiting for you to say something. He knew you were upset with him.
You let him inside the apartment.
You started walking toward the living room window, arms crossed over your chest. “So you ignore me for two weeks and then show up here?”
“I’m sorry, Y/N...I didn’t mean to keep you waiting.”
You bit your lip and spun around on your heel. You tried to hold back your tears but you couldn’t help feeling emotional at the sight of your ex boyfriend. “I spent all this time, wondering if you were going to talk to me…If you really meant those things you said that night…”
Tears began to fall from your eyes in response. Jun didn’t mean to hurt you. He would never go out of his way to hurt you. But he’d been thinking only of himself, without thinking of you.
“Don’t cry,” he said. “I just didn’t know how to approach you after you told me that…Of course I meant those things I said. Just because we aren’t together right now, doesn’t mean I don’t care about you anymore.”
“You could’ve just told me that…”
“It’s just a lot to handle right now,” he said, slowly approaching you. He put his hands on your shoulders. “I know you didn’t say it outright but I’ve been thinking about it a lot…”
“About what?”
He sighed, removing his hands. “About being in a relationship with you...and him.”
“What do you mean?”
“That’s what you want, isn’t it?”
“I...I didn’t think you would consider something like that…”
He sighed. “I would consider it because it’s you.”
“Really?”
He nodded. “I would because it’s you and I love you. I miss you so much. I would rather have to share than not have you at all.”
You hugged him, wrapping your arms around the small of his back. He hugged you back, squeezing you and taking in your scent. He missed this scent, this feeling of holding you and being in your presence.
“I’ll talk to him…”
“Talk to him and let me know what happens, okay? I’m gonna go.”
You nodded and he kissed your forehead, leaving you standing in the living room wondering where to start with Chan.
Chan sat on the bench at the park by your house. You asked him to meet so, of course, he came right after his shift. He felt happy these days; you’d spent the past week hanging out. You’d only had sex that one time but that was okay. He just wanted to spend time with you in any way that he could.
He saw you coming and smiled. You plopped down next to him. “Hey.”
“What did you want to talk about?”
You took a deep breath, deciding to just get it all out now. “I love Jun still…”
Chan was confused, initially. He didn’t know what he was supposed to say upon hearing that. What were you really trying to communicate to him?
As he started to ask what you meant, you said. “I love you too, Chan.”
He furrowed his eyebrows, genuinely confused by this new information. Those were the words he’d been wanting to hear from you all along but hearing them now wasn’t quite what he expected. He said, “What?”
“I love you both.”
“I don’t understand...How can you love both of us? There has to be someone you love more…”
“It’s just now I feel,” you said. “What I wanted to talk to you about is an arrangement between the three of us.”
“Arrangement? Are you saying you want an open relationship?”
You let out a sigh. “Not exactly. What if you both dated me?”
“That’s crazy,” he said, immediately.
“I know it’s crazy.”
You knew it was crazy. The thought of a situation like that was out of this world, something from another universe. Did this kind of thing even happen? Did it exist? It was one of those things you hear about but don’t actually see.
Chan couldn’t believe his ears. Were you hearing yourself? What you wanted was for him and Jun to somehow put their differences aside and be together with you at the same time? Without killing each other?
“So you want to be in a relationship with us both? How could that possibly work? How could it when he can’t stand the thought of us being friends? He called me out to the same park and basically told me to stay away from you. How could we possibly get along?”
“That’s just something we would have to work on. Relationships aren’t easy but I’m willing to work at it if you are.”
“Did you talk to him about it?”
You nodded. “He agreed to it.”
“Really?”
Again, you nodded. “You don’t have to agree to it, so don’t feel like you have to answer right now…”
“Can I get back to you on it?”
You nodded. “Of course. I know it’s a lot to ask from you all of a sudden.”
Chan said, “Don’t take this the wrong way. I never stopped loving you...but I just don’t know how I feel about having to share you with another man. I have to think it over…”
“I understand,” you said. “Just think about it. Call me when you’re ready.”
You stood up and Chan followed suit. He hugged you tightly, never wanting to let you go. He wasn’t sure if he wanted this. Would it be pathetic of him to agree to this, never quite having you to himself?

so I still had more that I wanted to discuss before christmas vacation took off, but you know how busy I get. Its vacation time, tho. Lets get started. our first stop is in new orleans. After beignets and a trip to the museum, Em and I had brunch at Katies. I was excited until I learned that it was all the brunch menu on sunday and none of their regular poboys. We started with swamp fries, I had a crabcake poboy and Em had lemon ricotta pancakes. The fries were stellar, as expected: thin, crispy fries smothered in cheese and very good pot roast gravy. The plate was huge and I probably could have had the whole thing if we didn't have more food coming. Em only picked at her pancakes, but they were very good, with a sweet, creamy lemon flavor and a touch of curd. My crab cake poboy was average. It was the fries that stole the show, natch. Now we're in Savannah. Leaving it, at this moment, but... you get it. The night we got there was Tequilla's Town. We were all starving and had a huge thing of queso and quac to start, which were both quite good. 5 of us ordered taco plates and swapped them around. I had tuna. It was just okay compared to Torchy's or even Tripple Tails. Em had fish, which were terribly bland. Dad's chicken street tacos were quite good, but Katie's carnitas? The best I've ever had! Oh the pork fat just fills your mouth after one bite! Its unbeatable! I wish I'd gotten those instead. The next day started with Savannah Seafood Shack. Finally, after missing out on it last year, I got my shot. We ordered a fried shrimp cone, a calamari cone, and a crab pie. The crab pie was out of this world, slam full of meat and flavor. The calamari was fantastic, as well as the fried shrimp, but the cones they came in were missable. The cole slaw was good, but there are better vehicles for this kind of thing than a slightly sweet and very crunchy waffle cone. We almost went back on the last day, but ended up at Sapporo japanese instead. We got such a deal: 2 special rolls for $10. Both were fantastic, especially the savannah roll with shrimp tempura and roe. The gyoza and tempura shrimp and vegetables were quite good, too. Of course we had to go back to Flying Monk after we had our seafood shack snack. Everything everyone got was an unfortunate repeat of the year before, except this year mom sprang for the pork belly buns. There were just 2 buns, but they were loaded with enough pork for 5. I made everyone try them and they all agreed that it was spectacular. I'm so glad. I knew they'd all love something like that if they tried it! For breakfast on the second day, I sent Jacob out with a 50 to the bakery dad kept talking a out. He came back with no money, but a little bit of all the shop's baked goods. The baguette was impeccable. King of bread, I'd say. Mom complained that he didn't bring enough butter, but I say it didn't need more than a touch, if any at all. The macarons, berry tart, and parfait were all lovely, as well. The croissant sandwiches were filled with fresh cheese and soft scrambled eggs that, under normal circumstances, I'd call undercooked, but actually worked very well in this. Also unmissable was the baguette sandwich with mozzarella, prosciutto, and pesto. So rustic and good~ On the tourist street is where we ended up for dinner on the second night. It was a little spot called Spankys that served sweet drinks in small buckets. They were apparently famous for their chicken fingers, so me and the boys ordered a plate of 20, buffalo style. We were bummed because they let our food sit for too long while the waitresses stepped on each other's feet, but I think they were exceptional all the same. I'd go back for those strips, and their good ranch. They also had these batter-dipped potato rounds instead of fries, and honestly, I prefer them that way. It was a really sloppy, hit or miss meal in general, but I can't say I was unhappy. Then there was the final night. Katie and mom were really fighting the idea of a fancy spot, but dad ended up picking, so they just had to deal. The place was called Cuoco or something like that. Very cozy, friendly atmosphere you'd expect from an italian place, even the most upscale ones possible. We had calamari and shrimp and a martini to start. The calamari were just fine, but us kids really choked down the martini. Its just so gross! Dad encouraged me to order the lobster special, so I did. It was served with a risotto filled with muscles and a lobster tail crusted with cheese and bread crumbs. The lobster was quite good, a little dry, but not too much. The risotto and muscles were bursting with flavor, though, and went so well with my prosecco. Jacob had a prosciutto and arugula flatbread that was quite good, and dad's bolognese was flawless in it's simplicity. Katie had a delicious gnocchi in a bright, tasty tomato sauce, but my favorite dish on the table was mom's veal picatta. Oh the veal was so buttery and flavorful, doused in a lemon caper sauce! I mopped the sauce up with the very good. read the served! It was a fabulous meal, good enough to rival the christmas eve dinner at Chive we had the year before. I have no regrets about this vacation. I hope I get to go back to the area and do it all again someday.

Palisades Mall and Logan
Figured I’d interrupt the string of “Cebu Trip” posts with a mini adventure I had stateside :3
3-11-17
I was supposed to wake up at 6 or even 5 so that I wouldn’t be rushing to get ready. However, by the time I woke up it was almost 7. And I had to be at Jaymie’s house around 8 or 8:30. So after I turned off the alarms I rushed to take a shower and get ready before heading to get my car from the garage. It was pretty damn cold, not going to lie, but I managed by wearing some uniqlo heat tech leggings and just wearing my usual hoodie/jacket style, so the walk to the garage wasn’t terrible.
When I got to the garage I had to empty out the back of the Jetta because I was planning (or more like hoping) to get a spot right outside my apartment when I get back home way later, which means it would be easier to dump the trunk of the Jetta into my Dad’s Volvo so that I wouldn’t have to do it later. Afterwards, I headed to Jaymie’s house but as I was on the way, she told me she was still getting ready so I offered to buy her and her family Jollibee before arriving. Her parents were eating oatmeal so she just needed longsilog and topsilog for her and her brother, which I ordered to go with my own longsilog.
When I got to her house, her family was awake. I greeted her brother, her Mom, and her Dad then went to the kitchen and waited because I didn’t want to be the awkward one eating while everyone else was still out and about in the house. When her Dad came by to eat I began eating my meal and we talked about my trip - how it was in cebu, the food, the crazy traffic. It was just refreshing to be able to talk about my trip especially when I’m still having some vacation blues - it’s part of the reason why I want to blog about it because it helps me overcome me missing my cousins.
When Jaymie was done getting ready we headed out to Stevens since she had an open house to attend for her masters. It was awesome because due to that event I was allowed to park in Babbio garage without a parking pass (suck it, Stevens Police!) :D After I parked, we split ways with her going to the open house and me just chilling on second floor babbio. The open house took about an hour and a half before she was ready to leave.
After she finished changing in the bathroom, we drove up to the Palisades mall which is always a nice drive. I mean, I’m used to it by now considering how many time’s I’ve gone to my Tito Patrick’s house (different Patrick for the uninformed) that I could probably drive it in my sleep (but I won’t = 3 =) In fact, looking for a parking spot seemed to take way longer than getting there, even though it wasn’t. I mean I half expected that. It’s like the only big mall in the area and it was a Saturday.
We decided to just park outside the target on the fourth floor of the mall. It was outdoors so we’d be exposed and I’d be forced to wear my winter jacket to get to the mall, but at least the walk isn’t as far as it could be. Once we got inside, we headed straight for East Japanese because we were both pretty hungry.
East Japanese was a restaurant that had sushi and other snacks and dishes going around on a conveyor belt. I’ve been there and to it’s sister branches several times but this was Jaymie’s first time. I kinda dove in and Jaymie claims that she turned around for a second and there was already like four plates on the table, but I swear it was only two = 3 =. We got all sort of stuff - shrimp tempura rolls and gyoza, obviously, but also fried octopus/squid legs, tokyo style fried chicken, lobster salad sushi, peppered shrimp tempura rolls (there’s a difference), cream puffs, macarons, and a few other things that slip my mind. Overall it was pretty tasty... let’s just not talk about the final bill LOL
After East Japanese, we went next door to this store called “IT’S SUGAR” which, you guessed, sold a crap ton of candy. It was here where I first ate orange hi-chew, and I was tempted to get some but I knew my Dad was bringing back some from the Philippines so I didn’t get any. I did find a section that was selling bacon everything - bandages, lip balm, etc. - but I dare not try any of it in fear of not liking it like I didn’t like bacon flavored ice cream x.x
After spending a little time at IT’S SUGAR we headed to the theater to watch Logan. Oh boy. If I ever do movie reviews, this one will be... alright. Kinda depressing for the most part but I won’t give anything away... I may have cried near the end but yeah...
After Logan we went to Uniqlo because I needed to get new A-shirts for working out. The ones I have are starting to get old and worn out and I figured I buy Uniqlo everything so why not Uniqlo A-shirts as well = 3 = Sadly, they didn’t have the extravegant colors I wanted like yellow, orange, or even blue, so I figured I’d just buy it online (which I haven’t done yet and might do so after writing this post LOL). What I did end up buying was another hoodie because the one I bought in the Philippines was a different design and a different blue than that one I really wanted (which I didn’t realize until I saw it at the store). I’m still going to be using the hoodie I got in the Philippines, but at least now I have three hoodies to rotate around, and that’s always a good thing (especially when I’ve pretty much been wearing the same hoodie for the past year LOL) Oh, and Jaymie got a jacket for her disney trip in April = 3 =
When we were done shopping at Uniqlo, we headed to Kung-Fu Tea because I wanted a manga green tea. It’s funny because before during the week I had asked Jaymie to get me a mango green tea from the Kung-Fu Tea in hoboken and told her I wanted the tapioca and the mango jellies it usually came with. But when I got it, it was the mango boba instead. So I was like “Let me show you how to order my order” and lo and behold when we got to the cashier they told me they don’t do mango jellies anymore. Yeah. Eff me, right? XD Of course Jaymie rubbed it in my face and of course I deserved it, but I’m still laughing about it even now haha = 3 =
We then went to Coldstone because Jaymie wanted to get ice cream. Initially I wasn’t going to get any because I didnt’ want to eat too much... But then I saw that they had pistachio ice cream which I haven’t had in a while... So I ended up getting that with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups... I was tempted to instead get the strawberry lemonade flavor they had but I figured I just had a sweet green tea so I’d get something creamy... Kinda regret not getting the strawberry lemonade flavor, but w/e. What’s done is done.
Before heading out, we stopped by gamestop to check if they had an amiibo Jaymie’s brother was looking. They didn’t so we headed back to Jaymie’s house where I hung out for a bit. They were watching Way of the Dragon and I saw the fight between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris. Man did that guy get owned LOL After watching, I tried some of her Dad’s giniling, which was pretty good, but just didn’t taste like my Mom’s cooking (obviously I’m going to favor my Mom’s cooking. It just had more flavor though).
After I finished eating and talking with Jaymie and her brother, I headed back home, which wasn’t painful because it was traffic. I tried looking for a parking spot and initially there wasn’t any, but thankfully after going around one more time, this guy was leaving right in front of my building, so I was able to get the spot and thanked God afterwards. Saved me a trip in the cold.
Once I got upstairs, I just did some WoW dailies, then passed out. Yeah, I was pretty tired, but I guess the jetlag just caught up with me. Hopefully my sleeping cycle should be back on schedule, but we’ll see when I wake up tomorrow for my dentist appointment (if I wake up in time for it LOL)
