The majority of the RWBY FNDM is anti Blacksun, anti cis and anti hetero. Please give me hope. Please change my mind.

It's about 4 in the morning so I'm sorry if this doesn't completely make sense but to start off BlackSun doesn't have to be hetero to start with. Either if not both of them could be anything from Bi to Ace and beyond. The majority of the fandom doesn't hate BlackSun the only part I know of that hate the ship are the b/ees and I know it feels like they're a majority but they're not. They're just the loudest.

Honestly sexuality and gender do not matter when it comes to BlackSun and they shouldn't matter for any other ship. We don't ship it because it's het or cis, shipping for the characters gender alone is just stupid. We ship BlackSun because it's a healthy relationship. Sun cares deeply for Blake and her happiness and he shows it. He's done so much to help Blake over the volumes, he knows her trama, her past, her regrets and how she used to think. He doesn't hold her back or try to control her like Adam did. Sun is Adams complete opposite in every single way. A few things that always give me hope about the ship are these.

1: The thought that Sun stayed with her for 2 days without any selfish intent.

2: The fact that even after turning him down she still took him to the dance because she wanted to and the dance was the first place we got to see her actually have a genuinely good time.

3: After SSSN won their match in the tournament he pointed her out of a stadium filled with THOUSANDS of people.

4: The line he gives her after waking up in volume 4. "Yeah. Your chameleon friend got me pretty good... But I'd do it all again if it meant protecting you"

5: The way Blake looks at him after their talk.

6: Their entire conversation at the beginning of Volume 6.

It's easy to forget those moment's with all the drama in this fandom. But when you remember those moment's you remember why you started to ship BlackSun in the first place.

Team RWBY+ Is walking through a Atlas market; Nora and Ren are awkwardly flirting, Jaune and Oscar are talking about their new found shared interest in Pumpkin Pete, Ruby and Yang are asking about the physics of Weiss's new hair and Blake is just steadily following behind the group giggling at her friends who are so full of life and joy until she walks buy a fruit vendor. She stops and looks at her wares, her eyes land on a single green apple alone in a basket and she can't help but softly smile as she remembers the time she spent with Sun, getting lost in thought and her heart growing heavy with sadness she buys the single apple from the kind old woman and smiles as she holds it to her chest and catches up with her team, the small paper bag still held to her chest she can't help but think to herself "My hero"

The issue isn’t you, per say. I’m not the rude anon from earlier, but I am a multi shipper who is active on both sides of this “ship war”, and I will say this: the bee community is good at policing their own. The racists were called out, the people drawing underaged NSFW were chased off of tumblr, and they make an effort to cut off those people from the rest. (1/2) As a queer individual, the most sad thing about the BS fandom is the willingness to interact with trump supporters

Today was the day. Team RWBY and JNPT had just landed the airship in Vacuo’s main city. Many of them weren’t too excited for the excruciating heat, with others preferring the change from Atlas’ freezing climate. If there was one who was most excited it would be Blake. As they walked through the streets Blake kept thinking of their last meeting and what it is she’s going to say once she meets him again. She feels the need to fully confess her feelings for him, which she hopes he returns. 1/?

Mink's Final Weapon Idea

As you know Mink's weapon idea has been a WIP because I just suck at sticking to one idea but I think I've finally decided on her weapon!

Mink wields two katanas and a Bō staff. Taking ideas from both her parents fighting styles with her mother's idea of implementing her sheath into a weapon Minks Bō is her sheath. When not in use the Bō folds in half and rest on her back with the hilts of her katanas available for easy access. But like Suns staff cannot be used unless both chucks are used her staff can only be unfolded if both blades are sheathed.

Also not only does Mink wear prescription glasses but she also wears one of Blake's ribbons as a bowtie choker.
