How Jack Would Act Towards Your OCs, Part 1

I honestly only added him because he seemed like a easy character to show how Jack would treat most Toppats + some extra info.

They probably have met and talked at some point before Jay has joined the clan. They might of even gotten along. There's no way Jack wouldn't figure out Jay is a Toppat sadly though so.... any sort of friendship would be short lived.

Jack wouldn't try to kill Jay though, He isn't the type of guy to murder just because they're on different sides. Jack would definitely not trust him though, and would be skeptical by everything he would say. He would avoid Jay, but he also wouldn't tell anyone else that Jay is a Toppat... unless of course Jay puts Jack or someone he cares about in danger, but I doubt Jay is the type of guy to do that

Danny Felizima (@capturecharlesau)

Jack would definitely feel iffy about Danny at first, especially since it's obvious he's a member of the clan. But once Jack finds out about that curse, it's over. Jack would definitely warn people, and join in on the fighting, even if the only people fighting are Toppats. If Jack witnesses it, he joins. Jack's just concerned about the curse hurting people though, so Jack still wouldn't kill him.

Though just as a funny little side note, Jack loves limes and adds it to every dish and drink he gets... every single one. I think this might make Danny mad as well (man Danny must get annoyed a lot by these idiots honestly)

Jack would be friends with him. Nothing super duper special, but they would get along. If Benjamin ever meets (or has met) Jack's brother Luke though... he might need prepare for some family drama-

Again, another Toppat but a well... interesting case. Jack wouldn't have any interest in harming Hatāśā even the littlest bit. He would try to figure out why Hatāśā acts like this, but he probably wouldn't get far due to most likely only asking Hatāśā instead of people around him

Hayden Curtis (@fluvvie)

Jack would be his friend, and try to help Hayden as well (without any bad motivations unlike a certain someone...). Jack might find out who Hayden's brother is though due to his curiosity, and once he finds out that he will just suddenly stop helping. No, Jack will not explain to Hayden why, he will let Hayden find out himself

Chris Galeforce (@annashadowstar)

Just simple friends. Jack would be a tiny bit uncomfortable around Chris at first due to in Jack's AU, Jack is engaged to Charles. Eventually Jack would get over it though. If Chris ever shown Jack his powers, Jack would be impressed and might want to know how and why Chris got them

Cameron Calvin (@rarestdoge)

Friends. Jack would be also uncomfortable around Cameron at first, due to reasons stated above and also Jack and Cameron look similar. They would definitely get along very well though. Jack might fear Cam a little though if Jack ever meets Cyborg! Cameron. Jack... doesn't have the best experience with cyborgs

Halloweenathon Love At First Bite

So 2023 has been a pretty Dracula centric year,but its nothing compared to 1979 where there were several DRacula film the most notables being Frank Langellas Dracula,Nosferatu the Vampyre and tonights movie which stands out cause its a comedy ,lets talk about Love at First Bite

in this 1979 film Dracula (George Hamilton) and his assistant Renfield (Arte Johnson ) are thrown out of their castle and move to New York where Dracula romances model Cindy Sondheim(Susan Saint James ) but has to deal with a romantic rival in the form of Dr Jeffrey Rosenberg (Richard Benjamin ) ,who happens to be the grandson of Van Helsing

So I really enjoyed this film.I went in with no real expectations,but what I got was a charming romantic comedy and a very lighthearted one.I think the biggest surprise is....Well Dracula is the protagonist,and not really a villain .Keep in mind even in other comedic takes on the story like Dracula Dead and Loving It or Renfield ....DRac is still the villain of those stories .He's not a goody good ,still drinks blood (Though dont think he kills anyone ) and is pompus and arrogant,but this film examines Dracula as a lonely anarchonism who simply wants love .This is more the fun side of Dracula .PArt of that is just due to how good George Hamilton is,hes funny,hes charming,he can pull off the arrogance and hes suave,not to mention can do a fairly good Bela Lugosi impression

Susan Saint James has good chemistry with Hamilton and pulls off the flakyness of her character well ,Arte Johnson is fun wacky version of Renfield pulling off a good Dwight Frye esque laugh .The always good Dick Shawn has fun role as a cop with some memorable lines.The scene strealer even above Hamilton,is Richard Benjamin as our Van Helsing character,this inept wannabe vampire killer is just hilarious ,every scene with him had me howling ,especially when he and Dracula first meet and he uses various weaknesses of the vampire

There is a big flaw with the film....Some jokes are racist ,and theres not a lot but enough that it is noticable and they are all jokes that could easilly have been cut.I love the movie but it doesnt excuse these jokes,so I am gonna warn ya ,if you do watch this

OVerall I did enjoy this film for the most part,I thinjk Hamilton and Benjamin make it a ver y solid and funny watch

I don't think they'll get along super well. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think they'll be enemies but I just don't see them really being friends. She'll probably be too scared to talk to them anyways as she's a big coward and I mean... look at them compared to her, they could absolutely destroy her if they wanted too. She'll probably wave when walking pass them once she warmed up to them though!

Hmm, probably would get along a little bit. There's nothing Jay can really do that could scare off Lexi, and Lexi canonly has friends who are kinda like Jay. I just don't see them seeing eachother that often, and they probably wouldn't have that many special interactions. Just some casual acquaintances that could develop into a tiny friendship

Scottie Anderson (Also by @jaytoons7)

Lexi would 100% be scared of Scottie at first. I am not sure if they would ever be friends because Lexi can be a bit... annoying at times. I don't see them being complete enemies though, specially since Lexi is almost never at the kitchen and Lexi always tries to make things better by helping

Oooh! I see them getting along very well! Lexi never gets scared from children, so there's no way she'll be scared of Amelia. They have quite a lot in common. The only problem is Lexi is in desperate need of a friend who also isn't a stickfigure/human, so she might vent dump to Amelia on accident

It HEAVILY depends if Lexi overhears about the curse before meeting him or not. If she does, as she most likely is as she's secretly very nosy, she would HATE him. She would absolutely blame Danny and constantly fight Danny for no reason other then the curse. And probably lose... everytime. Well until she finds out Danny has motion sickness, then he's screwed

If she didn't, they would probably would (and surprisely) become friends. They do have some stuff in common, it's just nobody expects Lexi to have that side of her when everybody thinks she's innocent (have fun guessing because I am not going to explain how they are kinda similiar). They would probably have secret conservations, specifically with letters because Lexi doesn't trust saying things out loud. Lexi would try to convince Danny to stop his dangerous actions. She would probably feel too bad to leave the friendship if she ever hears about the curse at this point

Benjamin Suave (OC by @fluvvie)

They would probably be acquaintances, despite Benjamin working for the government. Not enemies but not really friends... until she hears about his trauma. It doesn't matter if it's because Benjamin told her or if she overhears it, she'll feel terrible. She knows what is it like to have a very terrible family member. She will basically start getting really attached to Benjamin and protect him at all costs, expect at times where she knows she'll get in big trouble with the Toppat Clan.

Midgelenny smut prompt…maybe au after his Steve Allen show or the Benjamin date where they see him?

She's watching him from the sidelines, enjoying every second of his set. It's funny, and sad, and brilliant. And he looks good. Lenny Bruce is a very, very handsome man.

It's not like she hadn't noticed before; but it had been sort of a clinical interest, a detached observation. Now, however, as she watches him move across the stage, watches how the spotlight seems to to love him, lust after him, she begins to feel an irresistible pull towards him.

And so, when he comes off stage and the lights get dimmer, when Steve Allen says goodbye and they're out on the sidewalk, when Lenny lights a cigarette and says "thank you for coming", the words come out of her mouth before she has a chance to stop them.

"Do you want to get a drink?"

They don't actually talk much.

He looks at her with such intensity, such all-consuming attention that she starts to wonder she's ever felt as seen by a man as she has now. She's finding it more and more difficult to maintain her composure under his gaze the longer he looks at her, and soon, she's sitting closer and closer to him. The smell of his aftershave is enticing and dizzying, and she's never wanted a man like this before.

She'd expected him to be suave, or outright seductive, or so used to having his pick of women that he'd just get her to his place as quickly as possible; but he seems content with just staring at her, his lips wrapping around a cigarette with such intention that Midge's head is filled with thoughts of those lips elsewhere.

And then it's a few drinks later, outside, bar closed, sharing a smoke. His arm wraps around her waist as if it was the most natural gesture in the world; the feeling of warmth and closeness makes her weak at the knees. She stubs out the cigarette, and the atmosphere between them is immediately suspended in time. A drumroll, the ground disppearing under their feet, that almost painful, inescapable pull as they look into each other's eyes, knowing what's about to happen --

They kiss.

They might be destined to be all alone, but tonight it doesn't matter: all that matters is their own private world, where nothing exists outside of their kiss, the way Midge's hands are gripping his lapels and the way Lenny holds her tight against him.

She allows herself a moment to think about it, as they're standing in front of his hotel room door. It's career suicide to sleep with Lenny Bruce, but consequences are the furthest thing from her mind. His set has unlocked something in her, a sort of desperate acceptance of her circumstances: she knows now, finally, that she can't be with Joel, or Benjamin, or anyone - it's just her, chasing her dream, no matter the cost to her personal relationships.

And if there's anyone who can understand, it's the man standing in front of her. He's not pressuring her to come in, not trying to coerce or convince her; he's just waiting for her decision, a devious grin half-hidden behind his hand and that flaming look in his eyes.

The moment of reflection is over. She steps in, a hungry smile forming on her lips.

He undresses her with care; she's down to her underwear before he's even taken off his tie. He kisses her gently, slowly. She can tell he's making an effort to be a gentleman, because there's a barely contained febrile energy to his movements. But his fingers are trailing on her exposed skin, his lips are finding the softest spots of her neck, and Midge no longer cares about stroking a man's ego or looking like a girl you'd want to marry.

She undoes his tie, unbuttons his shirt and starts working on his belt buckle quicker and more furiously than she's ever done before; everything she wants is a few layers of fabric away and she's tired of waiting. Her fingers find his skin, and he chokes back a moan when they grip around him.

"Please, Lenny," she pleads, the need to feel him closer more and more unbearable.

Somewhere halfway between her girdle and the bedsheets, Lenny has completely demolished the walls of restraint and self-control that she spent years building and maintaining. For Midge, sex has always been about pleasing a man, and occasionally about a man pleasing her; but tonight, she's chasing her own satisfaction.

It's desperate, rough, loud. Their nails dig into each other's skin, their sweat-covered bodies run hot like a fever, they are too breathless for their curses to be intelligible, and they're holding onto each other as if letting go means letting the despair win.

It's intimate, too. She feels more vulnerable with him than she's ever felt with Joel; they don't need to be sharing a house or two kids for him to understand what she needs, what she wants. He doesn't look away for a single minute, staring deeper into her eyes with every motion, kissing her like his life's purpose is to see her and aknowledge her.

When it's all over and Midge is leaning against the headboard, Lenny reaches towards the bedside table, pours a glass of water and wordlessly hands it to her. He's breathless, sweat dripping from his brow, hair a mess and chest heaving; she's probably in a very similar state. He doesn't rush her out of the room, and she doesn't run to the bathroom to fix herself up. They drink some water in silence. They share a cigarette and watch the sun come up, trying to delay the morning.

As long as they don't go to sleep, it's still tonight. Tomorrow they'll go back to the loneliness, the alienation, the isolation of the spotlight; but tonight can still be a few more hours of respite.

Tonight, they're alone together.

contemplou a dança do reflexo da vela nas paredes do recinto, mergulhado em uma atmosfera de profunda melancolia. ao seu lado, a dama de companhia da princesa alba, celestia, segurava uma taça de vinho, seus olhos revelando serenidade. os minutos fluíam em silêncio, apenas o suave sussurro do vento lá fora e o crepitar da lareira interrompiam a quietude. por fim, benjamin rompeu o silêncio. "amigo. que termo inábil. às vezes, soa mais áspero do que qualquer outra coisa", proferiu, a voz carregada de desalento. seus olhos encontraram os dela, e na mútua compreensão, encontrou algum alento. "eu verdadeiramente acreditava que ela fosse a escolha acertada para mim; no entanto, se ela está feliz, então também eu encontro contentamento", confessou, a voz ressoando em um frágil sussurro. "sinto-me patético, às vezes", acrescentou, um sorriso leve se formando em seus lábios. "celestia, mon cher, sou imensamente grato por tê-la ao meu lado. então, permita-me apreciar mais uma dose dupla de whiskey, s'il te plaît."
