this is alpha quadra. alpha quadra is democratic, judicious and merry. from left to right: esfj, entp, intp and isfj.
the idea behind quadras comes from cognitive function “blocks”. when people has Ne and Ti together, then they like:
highly theoretical concepts as a source of intellectual stimulation and fun rather than for their practical merits.
logically consistent beliefs and ideas, and behavior that is consistent with personal values.
follow through on their ideas in the form of group activity.
then, when people also has Fe and Si together they like:
participating in groups where there is free exchange of positive emotional expression in an atmosphere pleasing to the senses.
discuss stories told in detail and according to the sequence in which events happened, rather than “jump to the point” quickly.
show affection for others in the form of small practical services or gifts.
feel energized in the positive atmosphere of special events, such as public holidays, parties and special celebrations.

Gamma types take a longer-term view regarding efficiency and profitability, giving lower priority to the short term. Likewise, they tend to aim at the broader benefits of decisions, rather than only at those affecting themselves, giving them an inclination for self-sacrifice.
Gamma types like to talk about where present trends are leading in terms of potentially profitable events and undertakings.
Gamma types tend to give more value to ideas and concepts that are firmly connected to factual information.
fi along with se:
Gamma types take a hard-line approach regarding ethical principles and the punishment, even revenge, on those who break them.
Gamma types place high value on personal loyalty, once they feel a close relationship has been established.
Gamma types like to discuss personal relationships in a realistic manner and are skeptical that “jerks” can ever become “nice people”, for instance.
and finally this is delta quadra. they are judicious, serious and aristocratic. from left to right: enfp, infp, istj and estj.

Delta types make a point of talking about the rationale behind their actions and emphasizing the productiveness or unproductiveness of different ways of doing things – even in such emotional areas as personal relationships.
Delta types value peaceful, refreshing activities where they are doing something useful and balancing out their inner world at the same time.
Delta types have the philosophy that they will have to rely on their own industriousness to achieve their goals rather than on luck, speculation, group effort, or strong leadership.

Delta types love to share personal experience mixed with their own sentiments regarding their experiences, but all in an insightful and non-dramatic manner.
Delta types like to talk about new beginnings, opportunities for personal growth, and their plans and prospects for the future.

Socionics Quadras — Beta
Beta, or the ‘second’ quadra, includes EIE, LSI, SLE, and IEI.
According to the Reinin dichotomies, Beta Quadra is ‘Decisive,’ ‘Merry,’ and ‘Aristocratic.’
Dominant elements
The dominant IM elements of the Beta Quadra are Ti, Fe, Ni, Se. All Beta Quadra types have these elements in the Ego or Super-Id blocks and tend to promote or favor their use over subdued elements.
Ti blocked with Se
Beta quadra types prefer situations where the power structure and hierarchy is clearly defined according to consistent rules where ambiguities are minimized.
Beta quadra types are more confident analysing realistic characteristics of situations, people, and objects, rather than alternative and could-it-be scenarios.
Beta quadra types are inclined to attribute to a new acquaintance traits that they have previously observed in other individuals belonging to the same group as they see the new acquaintance as belonging to (Aristocracy).

Subdued elements
The subdued IM elements of the Beta Quadra are Fi, Te, Si, Ne. These elements reflect aspects of reality which Beta Quadra types prefer to keep to themselves and not discuss openly.
Fi blocked with Ne
Beta types are not inclined to enjoy discussions of personal experiences when the focus is on a person’s own inner feelings, especially when described in a subdued way.
Beta types tend to be skeptical of another individual’s potential for personal growth in terms of abilities and character, and dislike being the subject of such a discussion by others about themselves.
Te blocked with Si
Beta types tend to look down on nuts-and-bolts, detailed work as a source of success, preferring to focus on “vision” and leadership.
Beta types don’t so much enjoy relaxed personal activities as they do competitive group activities.
Group behavior
Preference for larger groups where participation is “collective” rather than focused on individuals for any length of time, but with likely “domination” by more assertive individuals. This means that beta groups discuss topics that everyone could contribute to. Frequent unexplained inside jokes are considered impolite because they exclude other people. Jokes are loud and general, often about stereotypes. Betas attempt to draw others into the group activity: for example, in a situation where there are “group rituals” going on (as in drinking, dancing, etc), there is good-natured pressure on “outsiders” to also participate in them, with a sort of puzzled dismay if they prefer not to. They also try to draw attention to people who might otherwise feel left out - usually this is done with general jokes directed at individuals. In more subdued moments, discussion of ideas involving present trends and political implications, with strong views voiced. Personal experiences tend to be discussed from the point of view of their external impact rather than the individual’s own personal view of them.
When larger social events are organized by Betas (such as parties, receptions etc), they show an inclination to promote activities that will lead to the guests involved as a single group, such as games and shows; dislike for the “quieter” form of events where guests tend to quietly form smaller groups in more intimate atmospheres, which Betas tend to see as boring.
For Betas atmosphere is more important than specific activity or topic. Groups of betas spend time together to entertain each other. They exchange fun (and often loud) stories to feed the atmosphere, so that the group energy won’t run out. People talk fast and they often add comments to other people’s stories if they feel that the pace is slowing down. When someone starts to talk, he takes on the obligation to entertain for the duration of the monologue and, in a friendly group, other people only interrupt to try and help him keep control of the atmosphere.
Talking about personal matters in a group is not something that Betas generally do. It’s viewed almost as treachery when something that was told in a one-on-one conversation is retold in front of a group, or when someone criticizes another person’s traits in front of the group. Betas believe such things should be told in private and should not be used to embarrass or belittle a friend.
Betas also don’t like it when people tell long, slow stories. Betas try to be polite and listen to the story, and they will forgive you if it was boring for them, but if someone does it too often they might not be invited back. Betas restrict long-winded stories to one-on-one conversations. However, IEIs are more likely to adjust to the slower stories because they are very flexible conversationalists.
Romance styles
Beta romantic relationships tend to start from intense exchanges of emotions, either of a playful, aggressive sort, or of a more “tormented” sort based on personal images of special meaning, “romantic” in a 19th-century sense. The two sorts merge together to make Beta the quadra most inclined towards “romantic courtship” in the everyday sense of the term. A relationship is felt to be “lacking” if not accompanied by intense demonstrations of emotions. Romantic relationships are also held together by a sense of common goals and purpose, and of the other person as the best partner towards achieving them. Betas are the most intense of all quadras in terms of exchanges of emotional and sensual interplay.
Perception of other quadras
Alpha
Betas tend to regard Alpha types as pleasant company, fun and creative, but too goofy and present-oriented, lacking focus and ambition, needing to be led, and more concerned with refining the world of ideas and fun than the “real world”.
Usually a group which consists of members of both quadras gets along much better than Alpha-Beta interquadra pairs of people. In groups, symbol_e.gif starts to dominate and there is a lot of active laughter as the Betas tell loud stories, and the Alphas make goofy suggestions for entertainment. On individual level, the differences are more difficult to overcome because values are different.
Gamma
Betas tend to regard Gamma types as stand-offish and occasionally emotionally hostile, judgemental, and inclined to not seeing the “big picture” in political or work situations, a combination of political naivity and moral stiffness which may end up jeopardizing the Betas’ goals. Socially boring, “can’t take a joke”, vindictive. A group consisting of Betas and Gammas does not mix well. Betas try to make general jokes, but Gammas make extremely personal sharp jokes. Gammas like everyone to take care of their own needs and people are constantly moving and forming small groups but Betas want people to stay together. Gammas feel that Betas are trying to restrict their fun and Betas feel that Gammas are just trying to break the fun group. However, on a personal level Betas and Gammas often get along very well - they discuss politics, religion, nature, etc. They both see the general trends and they compare predictions of what will happen next. Betas view the general emotions motivating the events and Gammas view the objective facts so they might not agree but the conversations are intriguing nonetheless.
Delta
Betas tend to regard Delta types as noncommittal in their unwillingness to support goals decided in a group, lack of drive, and ethical self-righteousness. Rather than back group efforts that require vision and concentration of effort, Delta types prefer to just work on personal projects. Equally mixed groups of Betas and Deltas get along just fine. Nothing great, nothing horrible. Deltas tell their personal views, but they don’t feel comfortable enough to get too personal and Betas make general jokes to entertain others but don’t feel playful enough to make loud jokes that might offend Deltas. But when there’s a quadra dominance, things go bad very fast. The Beta group is too loud and impersonal for Deltas and the Delta group is too muted and personal for Betas. Betas want to express their views and opinions very openly, while Deltas want everyone to keep any possibly offensive views to themselves.

Relations of Superego: LSI and EII
These two types come from opposing quadras and thus have completely opposite values and clashing ways of communicating. From a distance, there is some mutual admiration between the two of them. LSI respects the EII's commitment to moral values. EII respects the LSI's responsibility and dedication. But although both are rationals and share the same Ij temperament, they are likely to have many misunderstandings.
LSI, who is oriented toward the strong Fe of Beta NFs, expects open, frequent communication with clearly expressed sentiments. Beta Quadra values honest emotional expression, regardless of whether it is positive or negative. The reluctance of EIIs to state how they are feeling, to keep their emotions to themselves, arouses suspicion in the LSI. LSIs do not deal with uncertainty well (Ne-polr) and without clear communication, will start to wonder if the EII has something to hide. Such negative character assumptions are very painful to EII.
Delta Quadra gets to know new people in phases. This is in contrast to Beta, who immediately begins interacting with people at the level they should be at. In Delta, and for EIIs, there are various levels of intimacy with different information shared depending on how close one is to them. EII subconsciously expects this to be understood and respected and does not offer an explanation for their behavior. EII may be slow to respond or may be very evasive in their answers. This is EII's typical way of regulating distance in relations, and they treat people differently depending on their relation and closeness to them. This can be insulting to LSI, who believes everyone should be treated the same.
According to Gulenko, it is common for one Superego partner to feel that the other is intrusive and clingy. EIIs may feel that LSIs are too pushy and intruding. LSIs may try to provoke a reaction out of the EII to get an emotional reaction. This is because LSI, who is again oriented to the open and expressive Beta NFs, perceives EII as too closed-off and uncommunicative. Likewise, EII perceives LSI as too invasive. Both may perceive each other as selfish.
LSI, who is uncomfortable with uncertainty, deals with it by preparing for every possible worst case scenario. Not only do they do this for themselves, but they also expect others to adhere to the same protocol. LSI thinks in terms of groups and expects everyone in the group to follow the same rules. If a person is not cooperating, they will grow frustrated and may pressure them or reprimand them in front of the group. They poorly perceive individual differences and do not understand that what is necessary for one person may not be necessary for another. Instead, they apply the same rules to everyone regardless. This is frustrating to EII, who is not worried about future possibilities and finds this unnecessary. EIIs expect an individualized approach, which the LSI does not provide. The EII finds the LSI imposing and does not understand why LSI's own "personal rules" are also being applied to them. Unlike LSE, the LSI creates additional rules and protocols based off of their own personal judgment (Ti) and expects everyone to follow it. To EII, who is oriented to objective Te, it feels as if LSI is forcing not a rule or law, but rather, LSI's own personal opinion.
It is also typical for Superego partners to view each other as acting out of spite. For example, the EII does not see the necessity for the LSI's additional Ti restrictions and may not know exactly what it is the LSI wants from them, believing the LSI is doing it out of spite. Likewise, the LSI becomes frustrated with the EII and may think that the EII is deliberately ignoring their instructions to spite them. They may view the EII as irresponsible and unreliable, and this is perceived painfully by EII who aspires to be a responsible person. EII may also have a tendency to wander away in group activities and sharing. LSI, who desires group cohesion, perceives this as an insult.
LSI subconsciously expects other people to provide them with emotions. EII often does not do this, and may instead appear serious and stoic, which is frustrating to LSI, who does not know how someone is feeling unless they tell them or clearly express it. LSI wants to know what someone is feeling and desires to have that out in the open. EII does not do this and that creates uncertainty for LSI and is very uncomfortable for them.
LSIs may express controversial opinions in public, even if it creates conflict. This can make EII very uncomfortable. Unlike EIE, the EII is not comfortable with confrontation. LSI perceives this as cowardly and sees EII as too hesitant to leave their "comfort zone". In an attempt to help break them out of this, LSI may push EII to act when they are not comfortable doing so. Although this is appreciated by EIEs (Se activation), this kind of pressure makes the EII even more uncomfortable and withdrawn (Se-polr). LSIs grow impatient with the infantile EII who seems so fragile and timid to them. They are confused by the reluctance of the EII to get involved. In an attempt to increase the distance, the EII may start to avoid the LSI, and the LSI will not understand why.
Overall, there is continual misunderstanding and frustration between these two types, as both have opposite values and communicate in opposite ways. Though Superego types may look attractive from a distance, once they start interacting and become closer, the clashes become apparent.

Thế giới của 16 Archetypes được chia thành 4 nhóm Quadra với cứ mỗi 4 type thuộc về một nhóm. Mỗi nhóm Quadra sử dụng 4 chức năng giống nhau ở 4 vị trí đầu Functional Stack của mình. Ngay sau khi xác định được Quadra của mỗi người, ngay lập tức bạn có thể loại bỏ được 12 type chỉ cần tập trung type người đó qua 4 type còn lại.
1. Alpha Quadra (α)
Nhóm Quadra đầu tiên có tên là Alpha. Nhóm Alpha bao gồm 4 type INTP, ENTP, ISFJ và ESFJ. 4 type này đều có các chức năng nhận thức ở 4 vị trí đầu là:
• Introverted Thinking (Ti) + Extraverted Feeling (Fe) (Trục Ti + Fe)
• Introverted Sensing (Si) + Extraverted Intuition (Ne) (Trục Si + Ne)
Vị trí chức năng nhận thức của nhóm Alpha:

> Để xác định được Quadra của mỗi người bạn chỉ cần xác định được họ dùng các chức năng nhận thức nào trong các cuộc hội thoại của họ. Mỗi nội dung và câu nói đều có thể quy về chức năng nhận thức. Và để phát hiện được chúng, chúng ta sẽ dựa vào sắc thái riêng của các chức năng nhận thức hoặc/và cách hoạt động của các trục chức năng nhận thức.
Sắc thái riêng của 8 chức năng nhận thức trong giao tiếp:

2. Extraverted Intuition:
• Cái người khác mong muốn.
• Mong muốn được mong muốn.
• Khả năng tiên đoán tương lai đặc biệt về hậu quả hành động.
• Thế giới siêu hình.
• Các khả năng.
3. Introverted Sensing:
• Nhiệm vụ, nghĩa vụ.
• Đức tin.
• Kiên trì, kiên nhẫn.
• Khả năng chịu đựng.
• Sự an toàn của bản thân.
• Kỷ luật cá nhân.
• Hành động của bản thân.
• Những thứ cần phải. (needs)
• Kiên định, ít dao động.
• Quá khứ bản thân.
4. Extroverted Sensing:
• Trải nghiệm.
• Truyền động lực.
• Thực tế.
• Hành động của người khác.
• Tìm kiếm sự chú ý.

5. Introverted Thinking:
• Logic.
• Tư duy diễn dịch nếu/thì (dựa vào logic của bản thân để phân tích và đi đến kết luận hơn là niềm tin/số liệu từ tập thể).

• Kể sự thật và chân lý.
6. Extraverted Thinking:
• Dữ liệu, suy nghĩ tập thể.
• Chủ nghĩa quy nạp dựa vào số đông. (nếu số đông cho rằng nó đúng thì niềm tin đó là đúng đắn)

• Danh tiếng.
• Địa vị.
• Quyền lực.
7. Introverted Feeling:
• Cảm xúc, cảm giác của cá nhân.
• Thông cảm. (sympathy)
• Các giá trị cá nhân. (personal values)
• Nguyên tắc.
• Đạo đức cá nhân.
• La bàn lương tri.
• Giá trị bản thân.
8. Extraverted Feeling:
• Cảm xúc, cảm giác của người xung quanh.
• Đồng cảm. (empathy)
• Sự thừa nhận.
• Sự công bằng.
• Đạo lý, luân lý, quan tâm đến giá trị tập thể. (collective good)
• Quan tâm, lo lắng, chăm sóc tới người xung quanh.

Cách hoạt động của các trục chức năng nhận thức trong giao tiếp:
1. Trục Ni + Se:
• Tôi muốn (Ni) đem cho bạn trải nghiệm (Se) này.
• Những người xung quanh đang làm gì ở hiện tại/đã làm gì trong quá khứ (hành động của người xung quanh).
2. Trục Si + Ne:
• Quá khứ của bản thân, những gì họ đã làm trong quá khứ.
• Tôi đã làm (Si) điều này trong quá khứ vậy nên bạn có thể muốn (Ne - cái người khác muốn) làm điều này.
• Tại sao bạn lại muốn làm theo cách đó (Ne), tôi từng có trải nghiệm tệ với điều đó.
3. Trục Fi + Te:
• Tôi không cảm thấy tốt (Fi - cảm xúc cá nhân) về ý tưởng của bạn (Te - suy nghĩ tập thể, người xung quanh).
• Tôi cảm thấy tốt (Fi) về ý tưởng của bạn (Te). Bạn thật thông minh (Te)!
4. Trục Ti + Fe:
• Tôi có ý tưởng này nhưng tôi không biết (Ti) liệu đó có phải là một điều tốt (Fe - một điều tốt = collective good).

i feel like an estp/infj. i know that isn’t a real thing but i just feel like. like a beta. like beta quadra but all four of them. like if i was in a play and the play was life i could easily play any of the beta types like. consistently. let me know if any of you socionics nerds also have a similar experience!!!

acampamento meio-sangue

treinamento: individualista, focado em indivíduos mais que grupos, sendo o único treino em grupo a caça à bandeira.
alojamento: chalés; atualmente existem 3 complexos de chalés (alfa - deuses, beta - titãs, gama - primordiais), cada um com seu líder - responsável pela supervisão das tarefas.
rankings: apenas campista e líder de chalé.

Which obscure t.v shows do you associate with the socio types and why?
Idk why but The Good Place seems so alpha/delta quadra but I can’t figure out which exact type I relate it to. Also does the Good Place count as an obscure t.v show lol?- IEE ANON UWÚ
I can see delta/alpha got The Good Place. I would think it sits in the IEE range tbh, though that’s just a guesstimate. I think both Fe and Fi are prominent in its scripting, a lot of the story is looking at potential, oscillating between discussing how people are comfortable thinking of morality and “goodness” and looking at where those flaws are (which I think is Ne/Si) and seems to cover both Fe and Fi in the characters represented and morality questioning. This is just a guesstimate though? I would not consider it obscure, it’s one of the more likable shows that I think a decent amount of people have at least heard of.
In terms of obscure shows…. Tbh I don’t know what obscure would count as to be fair, so I’ll just go with what I watch and keep it in the “I think these aren’t super popular?” range? I don’t watch a lot of shows except for like… anime and kids cartoons so bear with me lol.
The Magicians: Idk if you’ve watched it, here’s a link to like the trailer. In layman’s, it’s about this guy who’s obsessed with a fantasy book and finds out it’s actual lore from a fantasy world and goes to a school to learn magic. It’s kind of like if you took Narnia and made it a high school drama? I would say this show is very beta, perhaps EIE/IEI. The main character Quinton is probably an IEI (he could be EII too, his Se is so bad), in general I think there’s an excess of Se-Ni axis characters as a whole in there. There’s a big emphasis on hierarchy, social dynamics, but also world building and fantasy? Lots of discussion around consequence and development of character, the fantasy elements, and morality with experience and time.
Wearhouse 13: Trailer/summary for this. Essentially about two detectives that investigate alien/magic/cursed phenomenon. Vibes like a tame doctor who, I think they even did a crossover if I’m not mistaken? I would say delta for this one. A lot of investigation oriented tv shows lean heavily to the Si/Te axis, this is not really an exception? Relational drama is kept to a pleasant minimum (outside of the last episode). Idk what the specific type would be though, maybe EII?
Gillian’s Island: Is this obscure or just old? I saw this through my father. I won’t bother with the trailer, it’s just about like 4 people who get stuck on an island, it’s a comedy. ESE, fits the sitcom genre but is fairly cute.
Big Little Lies: Trailer/Summary, watched this with my mom. A drama. Essentially follows two (or more) women who’s children all go to the same school and who have more in common than they think (in a bad way). Actually pretty decent for a drama. Probably delta, but very Fi? EII to ESI range I think, kind of on the realistic end of things. It’s decent if you’re into dramas?
Can’t think of any more obscure ones off the top of my head. I may come back to this.
