Peace and Love, Black Family! It is apparent that many so-called Race First, Pro-Black brothers and sisters have deeper personal issues that spill over into what we call “Black Consciousness.” Truth is, they are angry! But what they’re angry about has little to do with the condition of Black folks in the United States 🇺🇸 or anywhere else for that matter. When you reach a certain age, the world at large DOES NOT GIVE AF about your disadvantages, and in the present day society, it happens much sooner. But I can guarantee that if those who profess to hate White supremacy so bad were given the opportunity to have the accolades, prestige, degrees, and most of all, the salary, of the n!gg@s who are labeled as “🦝/coons,” that they’d take it in a heartbeat! It is clear that many of us so-called “woke” brothers and sisters are angry about our own shortcomings, nothing more, nothing less. Another thing about reaching a certain age of adulthood, many Black folks are too engrossed in shame, and feel that they are too old to backtrack and get the knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve themselves and our people. So rather than make the changes for themselves, they make excuses for why they can’t make the corrections. Look Black family, I don’t doubt you’re not angry at the society we live in, but I know you have some deep seated anger about your own flaws and position in life. Being pissed off doesn’t make you passionate! It makes you look pitiful, and at times, pathetic, and only YOU can change that with proper self-evaluation and correction. GET ON CODE. His mother, Anna, was an educator and helped secure the first federal funding for kindergarten within the United States. #JewelMurray grew up surrounded by a small but PROSPEROUS #BlackUpperClass that people called Washington’s “#ColoredAristocracy.” His involvement with #AlphaPhiAlpha continued throughout his life. He, along with founding #JewelRobertHaroldOgle chartered #MuLambda/#DCAlphas ❤️♦️#PolemarchCharlesDavis was an #BlackAttorney who began practicing in #NorthOmaha in the 1920s, and sustained his practice through the 1930s. Black History All Year 2020 . . Mrs. Walker became an important community organizer for the Independent Order of St. Luke, a fraternal burial society that provided humanitarian services to the elderly. In 1902, Walker started a newspaper for the St. Luke organization called the St. Luke Herald. After the success of the newspaper, she started the St. Luke Penny Savings Bank and became the first woman in the United States to charter a bank. She was also the bank’s first president. During the Great Depression two other banks in Richmond merged with St. Luke to become The Consolidated Bank and Trust Company which continues to be the oldest black-owned and black-run bank in the United States. . . Mrs. Walker was also an activist for African American and women’s rights. She was a member of the National Association of Colored Women, and also the vice president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) for the Richmond chapter.
