GloriFi has laid off most of its employees and told them that it is closing up shop, according to people familiar with the matter and emails to employees reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. The company’s fate became clear on Friday, when funding that it hoped would carry it through the first quarter fell through, Cathy Landtroop, the company’s chief marketing and communications officer, said in an email to employees. The “financial challenges related to startup mistakes, the failing economy, reputational attacks, and multiple negative stories took their toll,” Ms. Landtroop wrote in the email. GloriFi’s app made its debut in September. The company said customers could open checking and savings accounts and apply for credit cards. The app was aimed at people who saw Wall Street as too liberal and wanted a bank that shared their values. An October article in the Journal detailed GloriFi’s turbulent start. The company missed launch dates, blaming faulty technology and failures by vendors, and laid off dozens of employees. Some employees said that founder Toby Neugebauer had a volatile temper and drank on the job, and that the company’s unusual workspace—Mr. Neugebauer’s home—added distractions. Mr. Neugebauer stepped down as CEO following the article’s publication and became the company’s executive chairman. The company raised about $50 million from an A-list group of investors last year. In July, GloriFi announced a deal to merge with DHC Acquisition Corp., DHCA 0.10%increase; green up pointing triangle a special-purpose acquisition company. Hannah doesn’t have to call herself a tradwife because she already is one. As such, Ballerina Farm has become the lodestar for those still aspiring to establish an aesthetically pleasing—and, ideally, monetized—pastoral existence. Most of her acolytes are less subtle about their politics, which they assume Hannah shares. In 2021, Morgan Zegers, the founder of the Turning Point USA-affiliated group Young Americans Against Socialism, said that Ballerina Farm gives her “DAILY inspiration on how to live out my values as a Conservative.” On her podcast, Zegers, who recently got engaged and does not have any children, gives “young unmarried women who dream of becoming a traditional wife and stay-at-home mom one day” advice on how to “become an asset for your future family.”

She is far from the only tradwife-in-training who has been inspired by Ballerina Farm. Take Gwen the Milkmaid, a Canadian “ASMRtist” and wellness-influencer-turned-tradposter. “Pov: you used to be a pro-abortion, anti-marriage, lesbian ‘feminist,’” reads the caption on a TikTok post of her rehydrating sourdough starter, “but now you’re getting married to your fav man on earth, love serving him, and can’t wait to make babies.” Like Hannah, Gwen is blonde, posts videos of herself cooking and frolicking in prairie dresses, and emphasizes the difference between her old life and the new one she has built for herself—or, rather, the life she hopes to have built, someday. In one video, Gwen asks God “why I don’t have a fifty-acre farm, seven children, forty chickens and five jersey cows yet.” Lacking a multimillionaire father-in-law, or a dairy cow of her own, she’s forced to churn store-bought cream into homemade butter. Gwen’s videos turn the subtext of Ballerina Farm’s videos into text, as if to compensate for the ranch she lacks: Gwen is proudly antigovernment, antivaccine, and anti-birth control.

Ballerina Farm has also been frequently boosted by Evie Magazine. Billing itself as the conservative answer to Cosmo, Evie publishes articles on everything from “How to Wear Shorts Like a French Girl” to the supposedly rampant child sex trafficking to which the Biden administration has turned a blind eye. In February, they responded to a minor scandal that broke out when details about the Neelemans’ family wealth began circulating on TikTok. The article ends with a full-throated defense of Ballerina Farm. “Our culture has become far too comfortable with criticizing people for being rich,” it reads. “There’s nothing wrong with having money or coming from money. And there’s certainly nothing wrong with using that money to create a beautiful homesteading life that creates useful food, products, and content for people all across the country.” For Evie, the Neelemans’ secret wealth isn’t proof that living off the land is largely inaccessible to the masses but a symbol of the virtuousness of Ballerina Farm’s mission. They have enough money to live glamorously; instead, they choose to live a simple life. That this simple life might be an expensive illusion is never considered.

A month later, the magazine published a treatise on tradwives by Gina Florio, a personal trainer who moonlights as manager to Candace Owens, a conservative commentator whose BLEXIT foundation urged Black people to abandon the Democratic Party. (Owens has also promoted Ballerina Farm on Instagram. Hannah, for her part, reposted the endorsement and later deleted it.) Like Gwen the Milkmaid, Florio is a reformed liberal who wrote for Teen Vogue and PopSugar before she “left the left.” Tradwives, she argues, are superior to “the shrieking, blue-haired protester who wants on-demand abortion and supports the ‘free the nipple’ movement.” She describes Ballerina Farm as the example on which conservative women should model their lives: “The children are blonde and seemingly well-mannered. The father herds cattle in a cowboy hat. And the mother is impossibly beautiful as she milks cows in her overalls, loose braids, and zero makeup.” This is all in contrast to “the average twenty-five-year-old woman” who “lacks basic domestic skills, serially dates multiple men, and loudly opposes manners and decorum.”

To her credit, Florio acknowledges that it’s functionally impossible for most women—even those who want nothing more than to dedicate their entire lives to caring for a husband and children—to fulfill the tradwife ideal. She points out that real wages have stagnated since the 1970s, making it impossible to raise a family on a single income. “We have to really ask ourselves if we want to truly return to tradition,” Florio writes, “or if we want to just fantasize about the perfect trad wife who is both gorgeous and domestic.”

Calculated clickbait bootlickers Kanye and Candace Owens are making headlines again for sporting ridiculous KKKommotion-causing t-shirts.

This time instead of the “Blexit” tees that Kanye designed for Owens before distancing himself from them, Ye and his sunken sibling sported “White Lives Matter” shirts during his surprise Yeezy season 9 fashion show.

Variety reports that Kanye wore the design Monday before kicking off the runway portion of the night while referencing several topics.

They add that he did not clarify or give attention to his use of the “White Lives Matter” slogan that’s been reactionarily used by white supremacist groups and far-right organizations in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

At least one Black model wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt as well.

The sunken shirt controversy comes after Kanye previously sported a MAGA hat in support of [now-defunct] Oxidized Orange Juice in Office, Donald Trump.

In 2020, he told Forbes that he no longer backed Trump…

“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” he told the publication at the time. “One of the main reasons I wore the red hat as a protest to the segregation of votes in the Black community. Also, other than the fact that I like Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby.”

but while on Drink Champs in November of 2021 he changed his stance.

“I’ve still got a red hat on today, I’ll let y’all know that,” said Kanye.

EXCLUSIVE: Trump's Viral Hug At Chick-fil-A Was With a MAGA Operative

A video of a Trump supporter who hugged the presumptive Republican nominee and shouted out support during a visit to an Atlanta Chick-fil-A turned out to be a Republican operative according to social media posts reviewed by MeidasTouch.

Nothing about Trump or his campaign is authentic. Every event is careful set up ahead of time and staged. They all fit into the same pattern every single time. On every road trip to an event or rally, the campaign sets up an excursion to a fast food restaurant either before or after his speech.

The campaign always has law enforcement officers waiting on the airport tarmac when he arrives. His advance team has throngs of cheering supporters waiting for him so they can get the photo and video clips for social media, Fox and Newsmax. It is all supposed to craft the image that there is a groundswell of spontaneous support for Trump from the grassroots.

But it's all staged.

He wears the same clothes. Gives the same speech. Repeats the same thing in backstage interviews. Follows the same script every single time. All to give off a "Man of the People" veneer before the pampered fraudster from New York City flies on his private jet back to Palm Beach where an army of people wait on his every need. If you watch all of his rallies and appearances, you can pretty much tell someone ahead of time exactly what he going to do and say every step of the way.

He has people in 'Blacks for Trump' tee shirts stationed directly behind him for the cameras at every rally, as if they are following him around the country on their own dime and just happen to get those seats randomly. They staged a fake union rally in Michigan where they had non-union people, many of whom were not even auto workers, holding up "Union Workers for Trump" signs.

The campaign used a staged sojourn to a local Chick-fil-A to create a three-days news cycle that there is a groundswell of black, working class Georgians who showed up to greet them. They posted photos that went viral on media and social media.

MAGA Republicans have been using the viral video and photo of Montgomery's hug to claim that Trump has overwhelming support from Black voters due to what appeared to be an organic outpouring of support from someone who just happened to be in the same place at the same time.

Trump seized on the moment posting a Fox News clip to his Truth Social account of Montgomery. Montgomery was introduced as the founder of a conservative themed group, Conserve the Culture. During the interview, Montgomery admitted to visiting the location with her students knowing that Trump would be there.

Regular people don't have pre-knowledge of Trump's visitations to a particular past food location for obvious reasons. As it turns out, on top of being having her own conservative group, Montgomery has worked as a Republican Party of Georgia intern for years, according to a LinkedIn profile and posts reviewed by MeidasTouch.

Montgomery describes herself as a "political consultant" and a "director of outreach and engagement" on LinkedIn. According to her bio, Montgomery worked for Blexit, which was founded by Candace Owens to recruit Black voters into voting for Trump and joining the Republican Party.

Blexit is now controlled by Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk. Blexit director Pierre Wilson recently went on Charlie Kirk's show and indicated he approved Kirk's attack on MLK. During that interview, Wilson came out against Black History Month and Black movie categories on Netflix and Hulu, comparing them to segregated water fountains. "
