Sometimes I think about those AUs where it's something like "Oh the dark forest kills IvyPool and now the clans are doomed without a spy!" and then immediately remember that IvyPool was 100% useless as a spy and if they killed her she would affect so much but also affect nothing at all. It'll do damage to the characters, but not the outcome of the battle. If the Dark Forest really wanted to sabotage the clans and doom them all they'd go after DoveWing and kill her considering she was the one who heard them coming in the first place.

i liked her as a sort of like, teacher-mother figure for firepaw in the first book, calm and stern but not too harsh on him, only trying to bestow her wisdom onto him and teach him how to live life as a clan cat. but its like they wanted to...make her more tragic i guess, so they made her have this big meltdown when tigerclaw betrays her, which COULD'VE been a cool idea - if they didn't play it off so fucking horribly.

i dunno. there's alot of nuance to her and i honestly have no clue how to feel about her in any conversation. thank you for your support tho blimbo

irt billystorm its like, the way i interpret it from an actual narrative sense is him saying it the way a dad tells his kids that if theres a monster in their closet then he’ll beat it up. like the kids going “what if it floods again :(“ and hes like “well then you can come move in with me :)” as both like well this will make them feel safer but also if safety is a concern then we really can do that! after all, leafstar is fine with clan cats being kittypets too! and then leafstar made it weird by deciding to fully enter her permanent xenophobia arc and be a gigantic dick about it.

honestly my ideal version of that situation that would preserve drama without making leafstar out to be a complete asshole who is portrayed as in the right for being xenophobic (what the hell, erins) is billystorm staying the same as in canon, telling the kits that if safety is a concern they can just move in with him to reassure them. in the back of his mind hes like ‘if it does keep bothering me ill bring it up to leafstar to actually seriously discuss it’. the kids, being kids, mention it while playing, and leafstar flips out.

but. its because of her lingering issues with clan stability and her own security as leader. shes still very much in the wrong. billystorm is just being a dad, reassuring and looking out for his kids, and leafstar is taking out her insecurities about how much control she has over the current clan situation out on him. she still calls him by his clan name and doesnt snub him for being a kittypet though- instead she says hes undermining her and trying to make her look like she cant protect her kits in front of the clan.

for a resolution, she has to apologize to him. he didnt do anything, and she saw treachery where there was none. they end things as a couple, and she brings the kits to billystorms twolegs to take care of. she visits to see them, but she and billystorm keep conversations between them short and polite. billystorm needs to recover from the unjustified tongue lashing she gave him, and leafstar really needs to think about how she handled that and hurt him and jumped to wild conclusions. they dont become mates again, but after a second, more thought out and heartfelt apology from leafstar, they do at least become friends, and are able to get along and raise the kits as divorced but at least friendly cats.

as for the kits, one becomes a permanent clan cat (residing in camp), one becomes a daylight warrior, and one becomes a permanent kittypet (no clan association). they meet up at billystorms house to keep up.

thinking about this because of @blimbo-buddy divorce art. leafbilly divorce should be canon forever and always i dont find them very compatible even without leafstar making things gross.

Idk if i saw the post for your blog or somewhere else, but its that post where its like “scourge and firestar being half brothers doesn’t need to “make sense” or “be important” because its still a good silent tragedy, two cats who are unknowingly related both fighting each other to to stop their own clans from perishing”

and i just like it because it also ties in with graystripe and darkstripe, like fire and gray are bffs from day one and both don’t have any relationship with their half sibling but its more tragic in a sense for graystripe because at least in the characters world they know they’re related but nothing ever blossoms from it and they’re both on the opposite side of the good and evil fraction, with graystripe being devoted to firestar and darkstripe being devoted to tigerstar, both cats who become leaders

Graystripe leaves riverclan to go back to fire(heart)star when he stops leopardstar from attacking him

Darkstripe leaves thunderclan to go to shadowclan after firestar becomes leader

Both die after their leader dies first

And its just tragedy when these two sides of the same coin find each other in the same battle as firestar and scourge and just like his best friend, graystripe kills his half brother

Idk, i really like these parallels between these characters and the silent tragedy of it all once you get just a crumb more of information on them

but yEEEAAAHH BIG YEAH TO THAT!! Graystripe and Darkstripe being retconned into being brothers was mwah, very good. I think I mentioned my own enjoyment of the parallels between the Fire/Gray/Raven and Tiger/Dark/Long trio. Very nice, if unintentional.

playing outside with kindergartners, one kid is shooting hoops, one is watching. doing my job, I go over to help the spectator engage more. he has few words and angry problems. I start saying small sentences because the kid is a mimic. "awww, nice try" "wooo, good shot!" etc, etc. works so well. too well. it draws a crowd. we've got 5-7 kids now taking turns shooting the ball. me and the kid are cheering them all on. it's cute. it's all positive. "you'll get it next time" "so close" and then we cheer and clap when they make it.

delightful little girl steps up and lines up her granny shot, i don't think she got a foot of air on it. it barely bounces when it hits the ground there's so little oomph in it. before I can toss out some "nice try!" or something, this little five year old cheerleading with me busts out the first original, coherent sentence he's said the entire time and goes "What the fuck was that?"

when i tell you........professionalism has never left my body so fast. I laughed. i am not supposed to. i know I'm not but it was involuntary. my "we don't say words like that at school" was too little too late. but it was just so perfect. I'm only human.

A ship I have with said character: AnHane!!! I love them so much top ship. Kohane has so much respect for An and is doing her best so she can be as good as she is. An's doing her best to be a good partner having never done this before. And when Kohane gets better and is getting lessons from Taiga An worries she won't be good enough soon. They both want to be the absolute best for each other and I think that's beautiful ❤️ also in canon An said she's going on a date with Kohane in her 3 star from the time to hang out event

BROTP I have with said character: An and Haruka. They're so great. When Haruka stops being an idol she immediately tells An and when she decides to start back up again the first person she tells is An. They're such good friends and colorful pallette shows that. I love their friend rivalry. I headcanon they do morning runs/jogs together

NOTP with said character: AkiAn. I ever much do not like it there's like no romantic subtext for me at all. Also I see An as a lesbian. I just don't like it, gives me the ick. However if you ship it that's fine

Random headcanon I have of said character: likes Shonen anime. I feel like she wouldn't be on electronics a lot but she totally watches Shonen anime, maybe even with her dad. She also knows her street like the back of her hand and is good in gym and biology

Overall opinion of the character: favorite project sekai character deserves all the love and the fandom should stop using her as a background character for Akito and Toya

So You Want To Try Alchemy Stars?

Alright well heres a few guides on what you need to know. Some of these are videos and I only recommend videos I have fully watched and critiqued: HERE is a short, updated, most current beginners guide that explains a fair amount of the games ui and what everything does. I dont personally agree with every single thing this person has said (like their units reroll guide), but they give a really good rundown on a fair bit of the games mechanics and modes and do it at the games current state so check it out. HERE is the current japanese tierlist that explains character abilities and generally tells you who does what best. It also lets you actually see the characters so you can use it for waifu scouting reasons as well, which is the true reason to check it out HERE is a guide on teambuilding that I do think gives a really good rundown on general teambuilding and unit roles. It explains what units do, their positions on the team, and generally what you should aim for

HERE is a reroll guide on rolling for the 6*s in the game. Again I believe the true reason to do rerolls are for your specialest scrimblus blimbo glombrous BUT you may also want to know who are the best of the best and this video explains the top units mechanics and how they work, so you can watch the reroll guide here. However, I point to the JP TL if you want to know the Best units to actually get. THAT SAID this one also explains elysium a bit and the characters you should aim for. 

As for personal advice, one of the most important things you need to do in this game is advance in the story up to the end of ch8 to unlock all the menus and modes available in the game. This game has no pvp and is very casual HOWEVER you are only lagging your progression on building units if you dont have everything unlocked. Finally the game itself throws tutorial at you at every turn to let you know how things work so if you’ve only glanced at some of these guides do not worry because the game will also tell you how it works. Its a very easy game to get into that has a lot of nuance and progression to its combat system. Good Luck performing alchemy on those stars

My blorbo: prob Lucas Baker? IDK why, but he's such a fun character and villain it's sooooo fun to imagine what he'd do/how other characters would interact with him/what he'd do with his weirdo Mold powers (probably just use it to grab shit/reach up for wiring and machinery but might try to punch a gator like his uncle Joe and get his shit kicked in) and how he'd react to being jailed by Blue Umbrella if that happens and God he's just the best worst guy, y'know? All the other RE villains are so put together and slick, and don't get me wrong, it's nice to see Wesker and his suit and Alexia in her evening gown. But sometimes villains should be unapologetic grease goblins and that's what Lucas is and I love him for that so much. He's rough and tumble and his traps are clever but held together via spit/prayers and he can think of the exact way to wire a tripmine but is too lazy to properly bolt speakers into the wall and probably thinks he can wrestle gators and Evie and Uncle Joe and that idiot twink across the bar NOT LIKE THAT WAY ZOE SHUT UP. He's rolling around in the trash and he loves it and I don't want him to change. He's a spiky blorbo but best blorbo.

Scrunkly: Ethan Winters. He's the father I wished I had and didn't know I needed until he stared God in the face and blew it up with his dying breath. Boy. Boy. Also he's strangely relatable? At least to me. I tend to shut off in stressful situations and either blank face my way through it or scream the entire time, with no in between. So everyone bashing on him for being milque toast in RE7, it didn't really make sense? Like c'mon, the guy's brain is probably still back at "I FOUND MIA!" he doesn't have time to deal with the fact that he's having a fucking chainsaw fight with a hillbilly! And also, why is everyone yelling at him for doing it too much, like his kid's life is on the line, wouldn't you be working yourself up? IDK, he's just nice and friend-shaped anyway. He's the kind of guy that you could talk to about life, and he'd just nod while Rose sleeps in the carseat beside him or something. Or just-- let Heisenburg/Lucas climb all over him like a jungle gym while he just-- stands there accepting that it's his life now. Absolutely friend shaped.

Scrimblo Blimbo: Steve Burnside. I know he's all like cLaiRe and soRrY and his voice actor sucks in the original CV and I KNOW HE'S ANNOYING but he's just so-- cute? Underrated? He turns into a lizard in the end and I like lizards so I'm biased? IDK, I just like the boy and I don't think he deserves all the hate he gets? Like, even the FaTheEr line, I find that really heartbreaking. That kid is being forced to kill his own father after not seeing him for-- weeks? Months? How long was he in that jail? Yeah, he's sort of cringy and hot/cold, and trying to impress Claire, but that's pretty much understandable. Claire's the only person he's seen in-- how long? Also, this might just be me, but I feel like he's sorrrrrt of trans? He gives me the vibe of a guy that just figured out he passes and so is flying high despite his horrible situation while desperately trying to impress this one cute person that finally recognizes him as a man and ends up doing some really cringe things in the process. And-- wow I don't find that relatable at all /s. I dunno, at least bring him back for the lizard form, that was cool.

Glup Shitto: James Marcus. Not the weird scientist guy, well also the weird scientist guy because he started the whole thing, but mostly the leech James Marcus. That is a whole ass giant leech shaped into the form of a person, believing they are that person and just fucking seeking revenge for its death. Capcom just fucking did that and expected us to-- accept it? Holy shit, mAN! Genius. Brilliant. Stunning. I love it so fucking much. I'm not joking. I love Leech James Marcus so much. It deserves so much more then like one note in Umbrella Chronicles (tho that was pretty metal). #BringbackJamesMarcustheLeech

Poor Little Meow Meow: Alfred Ashford. IT'S ALfrEd aSHfoRd and I KNOW he's problematic and aged poorly but c'mon! He's evil and British and basically a bond villain and so fun to look at in the game. And the whole reason he did that is because his father favorited his sister over him so he thought that latching onto her would earn him favor and then she just slowly became the only person he could depend on and vice versa for her but she destroyed herself with T-V and left him with nothing-- man I just wanted him to survive and go on a journey of self-discovery through the arctic wasteland, which is now packed full of T-V infected polar bear/bug monsters that hide in the snow to wage guerilla warfare, and come out with his dignity dashed to bits but with a healthier viewpoint on life and his sister's memories and work. Maybe it's the corny British accent but he's just a meow meow.

horse plinko: As you can probably tell, my horse plinko tends to be universal, but tbh William/Annette Birkin. Those in particular, not their daughter Sherry, she's been through enough. A role reversal where Annette gets shot up and injects herself with G and William is forced to take charge and protect his daughter while confronting the literal embodiment of his own mistakes would be-- mm prime trauma material. On the other hand, if Annette just-- fucking left the lab before locking it down and put some effort into protecting her kid, she could've bounced back and become a Good Guy again. IDK, maybe it won't do anything but I wanna see 'em bounce around and hit the ground.

Eeby Deeby: Albert Wesker. Nobody has that much of a furious rivalry with someone for THAT long and bend over backwards THAT much just to see them again and rub it in their face that you're all awesome now just for purely intellectual reasons. Nobody screams their rival's name That Way as they died for totally heterosexual reasons. If he's dead, he's crackling in supergayhell for gay eugenics crimes.

I think mascot horror is a perfect gateway for kids to get into horror without having to jump straight into Slasher Films or straight-up gore without plot.

I had met people who do dislike FNAF because of the whole child murder but I think they missed the point how Scott allowed those kids to get their revenge and make the one who caused all this pain to suffer in Ultimate Custom Night.

They are set free. No more pain. No more suffering.

Springlocks exists but are so harmless. Like if the suit/animatronic hybrid did exist irl the springlocks wouldn't drive parts into your body. It would release and be a tight squeeze.

I have a weird relationship with mascot horror. On one hand I understand the gripes that many people have with it but on the other hand, I kind of like how off the walls these plots can get. Don't get me wrong, I don't care for mascot horror at all but sometimes I'll see balls to the walls stuff with these games that come up and think "We need more of this it'd be funny"

There's a lot of ways for kids to enter into the realm of horror nowadays that vary from the typical slasher/gore movie (stuff like the backrooms, mandela catalogue) but if mascot horror is Baby's First Horror for many kids then that ain't really something that I get pissed off over y'know.

So really it doesn't matter in the end if your first exposure to horror is some mascot horror like Garten of Banban or Rainbow Friends, or some hyper-gore movie like Terrifier or the Saw franchise or analogue horror like Mandela Catalogue

Upcoming plans! :)

Time for 2019, hah hah :D I thought now’s a good time to lay out some future plans, if only to keep you guys in the loop. Some of these might be a while down the line, so I can’t promise these’ll happen by, say, February, lol, but I’m doing my best!

- So, right now, I’m working on another commissioned chapter for My Forbidden Goddess, this time featuring one of Alice’s schoolmates as she comes under Sharani the goddess’ dickgirl-creating influence :D There might be some more Sandra stuff, too! We’ll have to see how it plays out :D This one’s going to feature some size play and big cock humiliation as Alice becomes more willing to use her powers and starts creating her perfect trans harem. After all, what could be more embarrassing for a college girl than suddenly sprouting a fat cock, mid-exam? :P

- After that, there will probably be another commissioned chapter for How I Made Your Mother :) I say probably because it’s a safe assumption the client wants more considering he told me so himself, lol, but you never know, life happens! X) In the second chapter, we’ll be exploring some more Wolf and James’ steady feminization. The client and I talked it over and it’s clear he’s looking for a slightly slower pace on things, so James might not start going trans in the second chapter quite just yet, as originally planned. We’ll get there, though :D For anybody who read The Forsworn Retribution, the client really enjoyed the dynamic between Maximus and Sabrina, if the point of reference helps any. If you like anthro content and curvy transsexuals and don’t mind some male/male stuff until you get there, this one’s for you! It’s gonna go trans/trans, eventually :P

- After those two, I don’t think I’m going to pass up on updating my own stories, again. I miss writing Blimbo and Dreams, lol, and I know there were some people who really liked Destiny, Terry, and where their interracial misadventures in their sleepy little neighbourhood were going. So, I’ll update them again! :) I’m still in the middle of rereading and proofing Dreams (I’m only at the third chapter, fuck me) but I’m really liking how the fixes are coming out. Things make a little more sense here and there, my intention in some scenes is a little clearer, and the grammar’s gotten a tidying. Good stuff!

- After even that, well, I did have some future plans of my own I was still looking forward to. Over the years, I’ve had it brought up a few times, here and there, about where somebody could read Dreams Nightmare. It was the second story in my Dreams series and was removed from Hentai Foundry following the content policy change of yore. I always knew I’d have to rewrite it some day (it’s ancient and terribly written, lol) but if there’s people who really want to see that part of the journey, I was thinking maybe I could just drop it into Google Docs, or something.

- As well, remember those two stories I brought up a little while ago, the original fantasy one about a tired god in a hopeless world, Immortal King, and the one about the trans king and prince who go suitor-hunting amidst much incest, King & Queen? Well, I still plan on doing them! :D It’s just a matter of clearing a little room on my plate so I don’t have too many projects ongoing at once. I might change the name on King & Queen so it isn’t quite so similar to Immortal King, or maybe change IK, I dunno. I’ll figure it out.

- As well, I had an old idea for a story that never got off the ground. I might’ve mentioned it before, where I was feeling particularly inspired post-MGS5 to write up a story about a milfy soldier in a crapsack dystopic world. I was talked out of it in the past by a former acquaintance, but after reading a couple crime novels for funsies, the feeling’s been coming back, so hey, I might sit down and work on it, at some point. :) If I do, keep an eye out for a story called Belladonna! I’d drop the concept sample I came up with ages ago, but this post’s already long, hah hah :P

- Other than that, I’ve recently been thinking about writing Kimmy and Beverly, a lot. I just recently reread the entire Kimmy’s Maid Training story, so I had a lot of fun thinking about which of those girls I might like following into a new story. Clara was very popular, probably because people love her for the femdom/futadom angle she’s heavy with, but people might’ve loved Beverly, even more :) Shelly was a popular favourite, too! Berri and Courtney got some love, but maybe I didn’t round out Hitomi and Aisha enough to get them some vocal fans. I don’t know. People would’ve loved to see the more confident Kimmy go back and have a second go with each of the girls from the start of her week, the ones she wasn’t so confident with.

I do remember that Top to Bottom was thoroughly satisfying to write for a number of reasons, and I remember asking people if they’d like to see more stories in that vein (stories where some hyper-dominant, ultra-aggressive, rape-happy, mind-game-playing, manipulative twat of a t-girl willing to put a guy through hell to forge him into her perfect bottom bitch instead has the tables turned on her and discovers a repressed subby side of her own) and I’m happy to say the response was vocal! I never forgot :D T2B was a very fun project (I wrote the entire first three chapters over one weekend, lmao) so of course I’m open to the idea of more! Again, I just have to clear space on my plate X) When I have too many projects ongoing at once, keeping a rotation slows everything down to a crawl.

- And lastly, whenever I have a few minutes free before crashing for the night, sometimes I write little snippets about Roxxy and Vic. Recently I did one about Gwyndolin because I’m a huge fan of Dark Souls, I’ve always wanted to write in the universe but I’ve never gotten around to making a real project out of it. I even had an original plot angle in mind, something interesting enough I could make a full story out of. I just wrote Gwyndolin because, well, I think he’s a romantic character, hah hah :D Plus, I was pairing him with a human, and we all know how much I love my fantasy interracial.

horse plinko: in the effort of honoring myself as a kid when i first started liking the show and it was airing, i'm gonna go with pinkie and rainbow dash. they did nothing wrong, but seeing the torment is kinda funny anyways

I am so mad the cats who trained in the Dark Forest against the clans were just easily forgiven.

There should've been more consequence.

Ivypool gets leeway because she turned into a spy but, the others were full on intent until the battle. It was only during the Dark Forest battle that Blossomfall is convinced by Ivypool to not fight for DF.

I punishment I feel that is fitting is basically community service among the entire clans. The entire trainees and they aren't like fully trusted.

They can show remorse and guilt but it'll take moons to really undo the damage and they don't have to be forgiven any time soon especially by the victims who had their loved ones taken during the fight.

What are your thoughts on this, Blimbo?

I think the only leader who should have pardoned their trainees is OneStar because let's be real, it's funny to imagine him wanting to spite Starclan so much that he forgives the cats who wanted to destroy them (BreezePelt). He'd probably give them a light "punishment" but that would be about it really. And it's even funnier to imagine his spite leading him to appoint HareSpring, a Dark Forest trainee, as Deputy. He should have told HareSpring "Hey, listen, when I die and you become leader I want you to appoint BreezePelt as your Deputy. Spite Starclan.".

I 'unno it'd just be funny to image OneStar giving the middle finger to Starclan and not only forgiving the trainees, but then go on to appoint one of them into a position that is second to the Leader and THEN tell that same trainee to appoint another trainee. OneStar may be sent to hell for that, but he'll be sent down in a fit of defiant laughter.

I really like BoneFall's rewrite of GooseFeather where the omens he gets he believes to be instructions, one of which being that he made sure MoonFlower joined in on that Windclan attack so she could die, Starclan said so

He constantly suffers from nosebleeds

He went AWOL on Starclan, he abandoned them somehow and he lives in fear that they will come down and drag his ghost to hell

However, Starclan has other plans. And so, GooseFeather returned, much to the shock of everybody, he was finally back to his senses! As grouchy as ever, though a little more loving towards Starclan, meh, he must have had a change of heart!

…. that's GooseFeather… right?
